- 0:02Speaker 1: This is am I the problem?
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's me.
- 0:08Speaker 1: On the problem.
- 0:09Speaker 3: It's me.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We'll hear one side of the story, and with your help,
- 0:12Speaker 1: am I the problem?
- 0:13Speaker 2: You decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm hardly the problem on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Does Sarah have an obligation to reveal this to her partner?
- 0:25Speaker 3: Morning gab and ange Oh.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I like Ange, I kind of do. Like when people
- 0:28Speaker 1: call you angell me too.
- 0:30Speaker 3: It feels like we're bestie.
- 0:31Speaker 1: It's a very friendly thing behind it.
- 0:33Speaker 3: So now I have to be on her side no
- 0:34Speaker 3: matter what. No good morning Gaban Ange. I'm Sarah. I'm
- 0:37Speaker 3: a single mom with two kids and finally back into dating.
- 0:41Speaker 3: There's a guy I've had over quite a bit the
- 0:42Speaker 3: last four months whenever my kids stay at their dads.
- 0:45Speaker 3: But my sister pointed something out when I mentioned this
- 0:49Speaker 3: to her. I have nanny cams in my house for
- 0:52Speaker 3: whenever my kids have to be babysat, and I never
- 0:55Speaker 3: mentioned it to this guy because I hadn't thought to.
- 0:58Speaker 3: But now that I'm thinking about it, I don't see
- 1:01Speaker 3: why I should bring it up. My sister says it's
- 1:03Speaker 3: a violation of privacy. I think he's choosing to come
- 1:06Speaker 3: into my home and it's a non issue. The camera
- 1:09Speaker 3: isn't in the bedroom, and we're never out in the
- 1:11Speaker 3: living room doing anything that shouldn't be on camera. Do
- 1:15Speaker 3: you think I should let him know? I feel like
- 1:19Speaker 3: maybe there's something legal in here, but without knowing that information. No,
- 1:24Speaker 3: don't tell this man. Don't tell this man that there's
- 1:26Speaker 3: a camera.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Well, I think we might have a legal setup for
- 1:30Speaker 1: tomorrow seven.
- 1:32Speaker 3: I would not tell him because what if then there's
- 1:36Speaker 3: this you want to introduce this man to your kids,
- 1:39Speaker 3: right eventually, Like, if it goes well, then we get
- 1:42Speaker 3: to the introduce him to the kids stage. If you
- 1:45Speaker 3: have those nanny cams up when you run to the kitchen,
- 1:48Speaker 3: you'll get to see how he's interacting with your children
- 1:51Speaker 3: on the nannycam. And I think that's valuable information. I
- 1:55Speaker 3: think don't tell him. I think he should just assume
- 1:58Speaker 3: there's a nannycam. I think men should always assume they're
- 2:01Speaker 3: being watched at all times so that they're on their
- 2:04Speaker 3: best behavior. Gabe, what do you think.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Well, I don't know.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I'm not a big fan of like a gotcha, I'm
- 2:11Speaker 2: not a huge fan of that. Yeah, I think you
- 2:13Speaker 2: could maybe tell him there's a camera, but just don't
- 2:16Speaker 2: tell him where it is. It's like, hey, there's a
- 2:18Speaker 2: camera in this house, just so you're aware, I'm not
- 2:20Speaker 2: gonna tell you where it is. Yeah, but just know
- 2:22Speaker 2: if you're acting a fool, I'm gonna know. Okay, So
- 2:25Speaker 2: I think that might be a decent compromise, then you
- 2:28Speaker 2: know it's not if he doesn't know. I guess I'm les.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I mean, can you hide a camera in twenty twenty six,
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'm assuming ye, most cameras in your house just like
- 2:38Speaker 2: lifted on a wall somewhere.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I feel like nanny Cam's like they'd be putting those
- 2:42Speaker 3: their teeny type yes teddy bears who we've watched too
- 2:46Speaker 3: much television and movies. But yeah, you can put them anywhere,
- 2:50Speaker 3: and I guess if you don't. I don't ever think,
- 2:52Speaker 3: oh my gosh, how many times have I gone to
- 2:54Speaker 3: someone's house and they have a camera and I don't
- 2:56Speaker 3: know about it?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Not Ann act Lou. You've been like an. I mean,
- 3:00Speaker 2: you've been seeing him for four months. There's got to
- 3:02Speaker 2: be some type of level of trust there, right. If
- 3:04Speaker 2: you didn't trust him by now, I don't know what
- 3:06Speaker 2: you're doing hanging out with.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Him, right, So I think if you I wouldn't tell him. However,
- 3:12Speaker 3: if he sees the camera, then like just explain it
- 3:15Speaker 3: to nanny cam or like, don't try to lie about it.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you could also just lie and be like, oh
- 3:20Speaker 2: I forgot it's there. I've been so used to it
- 3:22Speaker 2: that I didn't even think to bring.
- 3:23Speaker 3: It up'ned into actually just lie.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I've gone the other way.
- 3:28Speaker 2: No, Yeah, I think letting him know you have one
- 3:30Speaker 2: and just not telling him where it is is kind
- 3:31Speaker 2: of a fair compromise.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But, like always, we need your help.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Is you are usually the voice of reason here seven
- 3:38Speaker 2: two eight zero one nine eight seven Let us know
- 3:40Speaker 2: what you think for today's am I the problem?
- 3:42Speaker 1: Can we help Sarah out?
- 3:50Speaker 2: Should Sarah let this guy know that she's been seeing
- 3:53Speaker 2: for about four months that she does have a hidden
- 3:57Speaker 2: camera in her house?
- 3:59Speaker 1: Jody, what do you think? What do you got for us?
- 4:01Speaker 4: You know this is her house, this is her cameras.
- 4:04Speaker 4: She shouldn't have to tell anybody that she has cameras
- 4:07Speaker 4: in there. Not only that, but if he knows that
- 4:12Speaker 4: there's cameras, he's going to be in his best behavior,
- 4:15Speaker 4: which is in his true behavior, and what happens if
- 4:19Speaker 4: those cameras don't start working for some reason, or they
- 4:22Speaker 4: go to another place where there aren't any cameras, then
- 4:26Speaker 4: what kind of a person is he going to be?
- 4:29Speaker 1: See?
- 4:29Speaker 3: That's my contention. I agree with you wholeheartedly. I feel like,
- 4:33Speaker 3: don't say a word.
- 4:34Speaker 4: I just think that the cameras are going to make
- 4:37Speaker 4: it where he is going to be or where she's
- 4:40Speaker 4: going to be fooled by his actions because he knows
- 4:44Speaker 4: there's a camera out there.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I agree with you, and I know that that is
- 4:48Speaker 3: us not giving men a lot of credit, but I
- 4:50Speaker 3: am okay.
- 4:51Speaker 4: With that, and it is not just men. I mean
- 4:53Speaker 4: it could be a female too in the same situation.
- 4:57Speaker 4: So that's my thought on that. I don't think she
- 4:59Speaker 4: should I have to tell him anything about those cameras.
- 5:03Speaker 2: All right, Well, thank you Jody for the phone call.
- 5:04Speaker 2: We appreciate your input here this morning. Yeah, I mean
- 5:08Speaker 2: I don't know does she have to tell him? I
- 5:10Speaker 2: guess no, But I do think the longer she waits
- 5:13Speaker 2: or kind of hides the fact that it's there, I mean,
- 5:16Speaker 2: we're we're forgetting this whole thing could completely work out
- 5:19Speaker 2: this guy could be the guy your dreams and he's wonderful,
- 5:22Speaker 2: and then now you're at month eight and you're really like,
- 5:24Speaker 2: oh my god, what do I do.
- 5:26Speaker 1: About this camera situation?
- 5:28Speaker 2: Well?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Then I don't know. In my head, it's like a
- 5:31Speaker 3: rom com right where she tells him and then he's
- 5:34Speaker 3: like what and he's so offended, but like, yarready in love.
- 5:38Speaker 3: So then they have a bit of a squabble, but
- 5:40Speaker 3: then they get back together and it's fine.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I guess I just don't know, like when is the
- 5:44Speaker 2: we can let someone know about the camera in our house?
- 5:47Speaker 2: Is it like two weeks? Is it four months? Is
- 5:50Speaker 2: it two years? And then I know Jody had said
- 5:53Speaker 2: like maybe you won't see his true behavior. Well, if
- 5:56Speaker 2: you really like the guy, don't you want to know
- 5:58Speaker 2: who he truly is.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot to there's.
- 6:02Speaker 2: A lot to unpack with that, and or you could
- 6:04Speaker 2: make the argument that he is going to be on
- 6:06Speaker 2: his best behavior.
- 6:07Speaker 1: You want him to be on his best pa camera op.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Julia commented, we put this up on the Facebook page.
- 6:13Speaker 3: She said, conflicted on this one because I think it's
- 6:16Speaker 3: better to be upfront and honest. But if she isn't
- 6:18Speaker 3: doing anything nefarious with the footage and it's just going nowhere.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Then in theory it shouldn't be an issue and could
- 6:25Speaker 3: be useful if something ever did happen that was a
- 6:27Speaker 3: safety concern and she needed proof. See that's where my
- 6:31Speaker 3: head is at too, Like what if something and then
- 6:34Speaker 3: you need proof? Again, that doesn't give men a lot
- 6:37Speaker 3: of credit. And again I'm fine with it. I just
- 6:40Speaker 3: I live too much life.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I just don't know where the like, what is the
- 6:45Speaker 2: we tell someone about the camera in our house line?
- 6:47Speaker 2: I would like to think if you've been hanging out
- 6:49Speaker 2: with someone for four months, that's a third of a year.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yeah, why don't you?
- 6:55Speaker 2: I mean, at some point hasn't this guy earned some
- 6:58Speaker 2: I can learn about the camera as ear like that
- 7:00Speaker 2: kind of trust.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yet, if anything, I think maybe because I still would
- 7:04Speaker 3: never say anything me personally. However, if we're, you know,
- 7:08Speaker 3: trying to give for real advice, I don't know that
- 7:11Speaker 3: I give good advice for my own life, So maybe
- 7:14Speaker 3: just say, hey, it's a nannycam. Like present it as
- 7:17Speaker 3: a nanny don't say I have a hidden camera for crazy. Yeah,
- 7:20Speaker 3: the verbiage is important, So if you aren't going to
- 7:24Speaker 3: say something, you know, if you're just honest, Sarah, maybe
- 7:28Speaker 3: and just say, hey, you know what I just I
- 7:31Speaker 3: hadn't thought about it before, but I have a nannycam
- 7:34Speaker 3: for when the kids you know are here or whatever.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I just wanted to give you a heads up and
- 7:38Speaker 3: then just like try to keep it pushing and don't
- 7:40Speaker 3: focus on it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, jump in a fun time right after even he
- 7:43Speaker 2: forgets all about.
- 7:44Speaker 3: It, but not in front of the camera.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 7:54Speaker 2: on big ninety eight points stuff.
- 7:55Speaker 5: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 7:58Speaker 5: basket job or bust it out whenever someone's acting had.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 8:03Speaker 2: little victories with us At seven oh one two one
- 8:07Speaker 2: ninety eight seven.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Angie, do you have a little victory for us today?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Mikey is officially headed to his first day of work. So,
- 8:16Speaker 3: my man, Mike and I we were a long distance
- 8:18Speaker 3: for a while. He was finishing up teaching in Vegas.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Then he retired and moved out here to Fargo, North Dakota.
- 8:27Speaker 3: To be happy and in love with.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Me, Yeah, to definitely be that's for sure.
- 8:34Speaker 3: But he was bored during retirement and he decided, you
- 8:37Speaker 3: know what, I've got like ten years left of teaching
- 8:40Speaker 3: in me.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So he's gonna run it back.
- 8:41Speaker 3: He's gonna run it back. And so officially his first
- 8:44Speaker 3: day of work obviously no students yet, that's next week,
- 8:47Speaker 3: but his first day of work at Roosevelt Elementary School
- 8:51Speaker 3: is this morning, and he's really excited. He's like giddy,
- 8:56Speaker 3: and that brings me a lot of joy because he's
- 8:58Speaker 3: always felt like his purpose in his life was to teach,
- 9:01Speaker 3: and so for him to take the year off and
- 9:04Speaker 3: just be kind of like.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Oh, brother, retirement.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Yeah, so he's back in the game, and I'm really
- 9:12Speaker 3: excited for him.
- 9:13Speaker 1: What about you.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Congratulations to Mikey, Congratulations to you. I do know that
- 9:18Speaker 2: Mikey's little victory does turn into a bit of a
- 9:21Speaker 2: bummer for you.
- 9:23Speaker 3: I know, because he always drives me to work every
- 9:25Speaker 3: single morning because he's a sweetheart, and it just gives
- 9:28Speaker 3: us a little bit of extra time together in the morning.
- 9:31Speaker 3: But I officially am driving myself to work, pedal herself down.
- 9:37Speaker 6: See.
- 9:38Speaker 3: But that's why I had to find the silver lining.
- 9:40Speaker 3: I had to find the little victory.
- 9:43Speaker 1: They're just so distraught.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I'm distraught, but my man being happy is very important
- 9:47Speaker 3: and that sets the tone for a good day.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So what about you, gab my little victory.
- 9:51Speaker 2: My wife let me sleep through the night yesterday, So
- 9:54Speaker 2: a big shout out to uh. I love what you
- 9:57Speaker 2: call her, but the queen mother, the queen mother, that's yes.
- 10:01Speaker 2: She There was a day earlier this week where Kaylee
- 10:05Speaker 2: was just on a like a horrible this.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Night of sleep fussy bender, a very.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Very fussy what do they call that?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Where a cluster feeding night, oh okay or whatever, where
- 10:17Speaker 2: she would sleep like thirty to forty five minutes, wake
- 10:20Speaker 2: up hungry again.
- 10:21Speaker 1: And we just kind of rotated those between each other. Yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and just because we get up so early.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, when it's like two three o'clock, that's when she,
- 10:32Speaker 2: I think, does start to feel bad for me because
- 10:34Speaker 2: she's like, man, his alarm is going off like very soon.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Yeah, he's gotta go function as a human.
- 10:40Speaker 2: And for Corey, you know, I would assume around six
- 10:43Speaker 2: seven when Kaylee goes to sleep again or for her
- 10:46Speaker 2: little morning nap, yeah, Corey can sleep. So I do
- 10:49Speaker 2: think she felt kind of bad for me, and she
- 10:51Speaker 2: let me sleep through the entire night last night, which
- 10:54Speaker 2: I told her to never do again, but I did
- 10:57Speaker 2: appreciate it.
- 10:57Speaker 3: In Vinci, that is an incredible one. I would not
- 11:01Speaker 3: have done that where ir way, I feel like.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I feel like my brain drink a gatorade. Oh that's
- 11:07Speaker 2: goods still so clear?
- 11:09Speaker 3: Yes, okay, Well, thank you Corey.
- 11:12Speaker 2: A big shout out to Corey Today. School underway very
- 11:17Speaker 2: soon for a lot of individuals. I mean move in
- 11:20Speaker 2: day at ms U. M is tomorrow if I'm not mistaken,
- 11:23Speaker 2: and then this weekend at NDSU and you know, high schools,
- 11:28Speaker 2: middle schools, elementary schools all gearing up next week, that's right.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And with school returning, I want to remind every student
- 11:35Speaker 2: that those books they are meant to be read. Yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 2: don't eat the covers like I would have. Okay, open
- 11:41Speaker 2: them up and read them. I also thinking back to school.
- 11:46Speaker 2: You know, one of my favorite subjects was and I'm
- 11:48Speaker 2: that annoying student, oh lunch, lunch, lunch, one thousand persons
- 11:53Speaker 2: and one of my favorite parts of the day when
- 11:56Speaker 2: I was in school. A you know, obviously you got
- 11:58Speaker 2: to eat some food, but be you know, your forty
- 12:01Speaker 2: five minutes or an hour however long lunch is to
- 12:04Speaker 2: just kind of screw around with your buddies. Yeah, flirt
- 12:07Speaker 2: with the girls, you know. Oh do you want half
- 12:10Speaker 2: of my chocolate chip cookie?
- 12:13Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I would. You would have got me
- 12:15Speaker 3: with that one, because I'm a big bag.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Did you have a favorite school lunch when you were
- 12:21Speaker 1: grown up?
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yes? And they okay, my favorite school lunch was a chaloopa,
- 12:26Speaker 3: and not a chiloopa as we know it, the Taco
- 12:29Speaker 3: Bell version. In fact, when Taco Bell said we're coming
- 12:32Speaker 3: out with chiloopas, I was like, what my favorite lunch treat?
- 12:36Speaker 3: Nothing like? It is nothing like the chiloopa at school.
- 12:39Speaker 3: And it's almost hard to describe. It's like a flat,
- 12:43Speaker 3: hardshell taco that like the edges lift up and then
- 12:48Speaker 3: just melted cheese and some taco meat on top.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And that's a chiloopa.
- 12:52Speaker 3: That was chiloopa in elementary school.
- 12:55Speaker 2: That's pretty funny because that's very close to what mine
- 12:57Speaker 2: would have been. When we had taco Day at cool
- 13:00Speaker 2: you had the choice of a soft shell taco, which
- 13:03Speaker 2: was just kind of a big, singular taco, or you
- 13:06Speaker 2: could get two hard shells.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And I was a hard shell kind of guy.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I'm sure it came out to be about the same size,
- 13:13Speaker 2: but in my brain more than one.
- 13:15Speaker 1: It was more than one. I love that. I also
- 13:18Speaker 1: was a big fan of Turkey Gravy Day.
- 13:21Speaker 3: You're disgusting.
- 13:22Speaker 2: My buddy Sam and I when it was Turkey Gravy Day,
- 13:25Speaker 2: we low key like try to leave whatever period we
- 13:30Speaker 2: had so we could get to the front of the line.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Oh wow.
- 13:33Speaker 2: We try to leave like math fifth period a tiny
- 13:37Speaker 2: bit early, you know, and there's like three minutes before
- 13:39Speaker 2: the bell's going on.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Hey, I can go to the bathroom.
- 13:42Speaker 6: Wow.
- 13:43Speaker 3: That's commitment.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Yeah, commitment.
- 13:45Speaker 2: We're pretty dedicated. Angie said, Square pizza.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Duh uh.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Square pizza is delicious. Square pizza, and you know what,
- 13:52Speaker 3: the French bread pizza. Also slapped something about public school
- 13:56Speaker 3: pizza inside.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:59Speaker 2: She said that they actually had a cook made homemade
- 14:02Speaker 2: goulash as well. That was her other favorite. What homemade gulash?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm getting hungry. It's only six fifty three.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Hannah said, cheesy breads on all Fridays. I actually kind
- 14:15Speaker 2: of am a fan of that. On a Friday where
- 14:17Speaker 2: you have a set thing, you know, you're going yeah, yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 2: So you can either look forward to it or be
- 14:22Speaker 2: plan ahead if it's something you don't like. I don't
- 14:24Speaker 2: know how school lunches are. Do you think they just
- 14:27Speaker 2: randomize on some algorithm.
- 14:28Speaker 3: No, you don't. Well, I don't know how they decide them.
- 14:31Speaker 3: But you do get a calendar every month that tells
- 14:34Speaker 3: you what your kid's gonna have that date, what the
- 14:37Speaker 3: options are for school lunch that day. And so when
- 14:41Speaker 3: we look at the calendar, Liam will be like, I
- 14:43Speaker 3: want to bring my lunch on that day, okay, And
- 14:46Speaker 3: then other times they'll be like, what taco in a bag?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yes, you're right, Yeah, that's fire. Well, Angie, there's a
- 14:52Speaker 2: lot of other people who agree with me. Here the
- 14:54Speaker 2: turkey gravy. We had Sharon who said turkey tidbits and gravy.
- 14:58Speaker 2: We also had Noel who said turkey gravy. And I
- 15:03Speaker 2: love this one from Micah and a big shout out
- 15:05Speaker 2: to Micah because we're gonna see her on Saturday.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Oh she's getting married, that's right, she said.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And we'll end with this one.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I may or may not have gotten the school ranch
- 15:16Speaker 2: recipe printed out from the Lunge ladies after I graduated.
- 15:20Speaker 2: And then Kayla said, I can confirm this did happen,
- 15:24Speaker 2: So wow, it wasn't necessarily all.
- 15:27Speaker 3: That's like getting you know, the secret spices from KFC,
- 15:31Speaker 3: Like that's major what she did there.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Yeah, seven oh one two, eight zero one, nine eighty seven.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Did you have a school lunch that was your all
- 15:38Speaker 2: time favorite? You looked forward to every time you got
- 15:40Speaker 2: it when you went through the lunchline. Now, Angie, you
- 15:48Speaker 2: were recently on like seven planes in two hours.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Yes, I was on four planes in fifteen hours.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You know, I was close. I never passed a math class.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Klus and I flew down and so they have the
- 16:01Speaker 3: screens on the back of the seats, and I noticed
- 16:06Speaker 3: at what everybody was watching. What else are you gonna
- 16:09Speaker 3: do on a plane, but like look at things, So,
- 16:12Speaker 3: you know, I picked my own movie to watch. I
- 16:15Speaker 3: was checking out what everybody else was watching on their screens.
- 16:18Speaker 3: I went to go pick up my kids from spending
- 16:21Speaker 3: the summer at their dads. So when they joined me
- 16:24Speaker 3: on the third plane, I took they chose movies to watch,
- 16:28Speaker 3: and I was just very fascinated by people's picks because
- 16:32Speaker 3: I feel like on a plane you watch things that
- 16:36Speaker 3: maybe you're not choosing to watch in regular life. And
- 16:40Speaker 3: I don't just mean because you know there's like a
- 16:43Speaker 3: specific set of movies that they have for the airplane,
- 16:46Speaker 3: because there were also people who were using their laptops
- 16:50Speaker 3: their iPads to choose movies. And even when people were
- 16:55Speaker 3: not choosing it from the like seat back screen, I
- 17:00Speaker 3: saw several people watching Devilwar's product too.
- 17:05Speaker 2: That was.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Yes, And most of the people on my on several
- 17:11Speaker 3: flights were watching Devilwaar's Product too, and it was a
- 17:14Speaker 3: mix of the actual seat back screen but also people
- 17:20Speaker 3: on their laptops, phones, iPads watching Devilwaar's product too. And
- 17:25Speaker 3: I don't know if maybe the people on their laptops
- 17:27Speaker 3: and stuff saw like, oh, Devilwars product too, I'll watch
- 17:32Speaker 3: this too. But I thought that was very interesting. I
- 17:34Speaker 3: myself also watched Devilwaar's Product two. I saw a couple
- 17:37Speaker 3: of people watching Project Hail Mary, and that made sense
- 17:41Speaker 3: because that movie is like three hours long. So if
- 17:43Speaker 3: you're looking for a movie, I think a lot of
- 17:45Speaker 3: it comes down to killing the time. Yes, So it's
- 17:49Speaker 3: like the longer the movie, the better. So even if
- 17:51Speaker 3: it's a bore, at least it's on.
- 17:56Speaker 1: You a little bit.
- 17:56Speaker 3: The last time you were on a plane, what did
- 17:58Speaker 3: you watch? And let us know what was the last
- 18:01Speaker 3: movie you watched on a plane? Seven oh one two
- 18:03Speaker 3: eight oh one, nine eight seven. We also have this
- 18:05Speaker 3: up on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw you posted this.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I have been trying to think of the last movie
- 18:12Speaker 2: I would have watched on a plane. I don't I
- 18:15Speaker 2: don't know if there is a movie that I have watched.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I either watch like The Office, or.
- 18:20Speaker 3: I'll just stroll to a series.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I'll go to some mindless TV yeah, show yeah, or
- 18:25Speaker 2: I'll just sit there and listen to an album I've
- 18:27Speaker 2: been trying to listen to forever and just never did.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Oh that makes sense.
- 18:31Speaker 2: The with music nowadays, it's so hard to sit down
- 18:35Speaker 2: and listen to twenty songs in a consecutive setting. Yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 2: unless you have a nice long car ride or something.
- 18:42Speaker 2: But it's really hard at home to sit down and
- 18:44Speaker 2: listen to, you know, music for like an hour and
- 18:47Speaker 2: a half.
- 18:48Speaker 1: As artist, you.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Know you now you you're a dad to a newborn,
- 18:52Speaker 3: so yeah, you really don't have time.
- 18:54Speaker 2: So I check out a lot more like albums while
- 18:56Speaker 2: I'm on a plane, or TV show, so I don't
- 18:59Speaker 2: really go the movie out. I do remember once on
- 19:01Speaker 2: a movie though, I watched The Mask, The Mask, which
- 19:05Speaker 2: is a good one, which is like a great and
- 19:07Speaker 2: terrible movie. Uh yeah, it's like I mean, watch that
- 19:12Speaker 2: at home. That's true.
- 19:14Speaker 3: It's the introduction to Cameron Diaz. It's one of Jim
- 19:17Speaker 3: Carrey's funniest movies in the early days. I really like that.
- 19:21Speaker 3: That's a good call.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Gary's pretty brave, he said. Snakes on a plane. I
- 19:26Speaker 1: kid you not. I kid you not.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Borrow the DVD from the library before going on vacation,
- 19:31Speaker 2: watched it on the laptop on the plane.
- 19:34Speaker 3: That's actually really fun.
- 19:35Speaker 1: That's very brave.
- 19:36Speaker 3: It is brave. I feel like watching disaster movies on
- 19:40Speaker 3: a plane is a choice.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I see. I'm with Ali here.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Ali also mentioned can't watch a movie on a plane,
- 19:47Speaker 2: but I can listen to death Metal and go to
- 19:49Speaker 2: sleep well on a plane. She's got Metallica going oh,
- 19:52Speaker 2: oh wow, I forard some band tooth or something one
- 19:55Speaker 2: or the other.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Oh, Jessica said, crazy rich Asians. That's a long one.
- 20:00Speaker 3: So it gets you through the flight. Good plane, and
- 20:02Speaker 3: it's just an easy watch. You're not stressed out or anything.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I like that that is a good plane movie.
- 20:07Speaker 2: And then I like this one from Zach here wended here.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Zach said, either Shrek or Jurassic Park just can't go wrong.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Two classics. Nothing's gonna really over overly surprise you or
- 20:17Speaker 2: scare you on a plane.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Green Monsters, that's the way to go.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly seven oh one two eight zero one, nine
- 20:22Speaker 2: eighty seven. Do you either have maybe a go to
- 20:25Speaker 2: movie on a plane or what is the last movie
- 20:28Speaker 2: you watched while you are thirty thousand feet in the air.
- 20:38Speaker 1: There is this woman named Kylie.
- 20:41Speaker 2: She's a do it yourself creator on social media and
- 20:44Speaker 2: she renovated her home while pregnant with her second daughter.
- 20:48Speaker 1: You know, she battled the exhaustion, the morning.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Sickness, but she said creating spaces for her kids actually
- 20:54Speaker 2: kind of gave her some energy. But becoming a mom
- 20:57Speaker 2: is taught her to slow down, ask for help, and
- 20:59Speaker 2: make sure she's present to enjoy the beautiful home she
- 21:02Speaker 2: you know, is renovated with her family.
- 21:04Speaker 3: And renovated while pregnant. This is crazy.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Got power tools, sledgehammers, and all these photos could never
- 21:13Speaker 2: be so and there is no correct answer sometimes, Oh,
- 21:18Speaker 2: I made it through the day. As cliche as it sounds,
- 21:22Speaker 2: is a big enough challenge to overcome while you're pregnant.
- 21:25Speaker 2: This is not a competition, you know. I'm not expecting
- 21:28Speaker 2: anyone to say, well, I ran a marathon, which some
- 21:30Speaker 2: pregnant women have done. Yeah, but what was a big
- 21:34Speaker 2: challenge you overcame while pregnant? Seven oh one two eight
- 21:37Speaker 2: zero one nine eight seven.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I think of.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Challenges that maybe Corey would have overcame. And I think
- 21:45Speaker 2: about the nights where she'd roll from one side to
- 21:49Speaker 2: the other to the other just to try to find
- 21:51Speaker 2: a comfortable like sleeping.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, because he can't sleep on your stomach. It's a nightmare.
- 21:56Speaker 3: When I was pregnant with my first which was a
- 22:00Speaker 3: four years ago, I I had to I went from
- 22:05Speaker 3: living in my mom's house to then living with my husband,
- 22:09Speaker 3: old school Cuban way. Yeah, as you go from your
- 22:13Speaker 3: house to your husband's house. And I was except for
- 22:17Speaker 3: I wasn't married to him. But whatever small details, I
- 22:21Speaker 3: was eight months pregnant and I had to move into
- 22:24Speaker 3: a new place. Sounds like a nightmare, and it was
- 22:26Speaker 3: a nightmare. It was like summer in Las Vegas, hot yes,
- 22:31Speaker 3: and we had to buy all new furniture. It was
- 22:34Speaker 3: a whole process. Now, how much did I actually contribute
- 22:39Speaker 3: during the moon besides me yelling no movement over there?
- 22:44Speaker 1: I mean someone hap of traffic.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the best thing I could do. Someone asked,
- 22:49Speaker 3: I mean I was so pregnant.
- 22:50Speaker 6: I was.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I'm only five to one and I was almost two
- 22:52Speaker 3: hundred pounds. I was waddling. It was hot. The only
- 22:55Speaker 3: thing I could do is say, do not slice the
- 22:59Speaker 3: couch open when you rip the plastic off with the
- 23:02Speaker 3: box cutting. Yeah, and you know what, my brother in
- 23:05Speaker 3: law slice the couch open. He couldn't do one thing.
- 23:09Speaker 2: You know. I don't mean to laugh, Angie, but I
- 23:11Speaker 2: do hang out with you every single day in here.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And you're not very tall. No, you are a short lady,
- 23:17Speaker 2: and thinking of you being pregnant as you put, I
- 23:21Speaker 2: would never say this as you put, waddling around is kind.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Of a funny.
- 23:25Speaker 3: It was rough. My guys. Don't wish that on anyone. So,
- 23:29Speaker 3: I mean, we moved into the new place and I
- 23:33Speaker 3: had the baby. Everything's fine, But that was like the
- 23:36Speaker 3: biggest challenge.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven,
- 23:40Speaker 2: A big challenge you overcame while you were pregnant, And
- 23:43Speaker 2: as we mentioned, this isn't some big competition thing. If
- 23:45Speaker 2: you didn't renovate your home when you were eight months pregnant,
- 23:48Speaker 2: that's totally fine.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Hannah, what did you overcome?
- 23:52Speaker 6: Honestly, the most challenging activity was probably getting through a
- 23:55Speaker 6: full grocery trip without needing a break, because, like you,
- 23:59Speaker 6: simple thing like walking around the store to feel like
- 24:01Speaker 6: an Olympic event by the end, I quickly learned at snacks,
- 24:05Speaker 6: comfy shoes, and realistic expectations were essential.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I laughed so hard at that because there were times
- 24:11Speaker 2: where Corey and I would go grocery shopping. You know,
- 24:13Speaker 2: we get halfway through the soup aisle and She's just like, yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 2: we're just gonna We're just gonna take a break here.
- 24:20Speaker 2: We just sit and I'd try really hard to make
- 24:23Speaker 2: finding the soup I wanted. Yeah, last a long time.
- 24:27Speaker 2: I know where all those things are, like the back
- 24:29Speaker 2: of my hands. But I laugh at that because very
- 24:31Speaker 2: very relatable. Jason, what did your wife go through while pregnant?
- 24:35Speaker 7: The most challenging activity for my pregnant wife was probably
- 24:39Speaker 7: getting comfortable enough to sleep through the night. Yea, every
- 24:42Speaker 7: position seemed wrong and getting up for the bathroom felt
- 24:45Speaker 7: like the whole expedition. And by the third trimester, just
- 24:49Speaker 7: turning over in bed deserve a gold medal.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Yes, and that part is so Nothing is worse than
- 24:55Speaker 3: when you finally get into a position where it's like
- 24:58Speaker 3: I can sleep and then you have to pee. Oh
- 25:01Speaker 3: my gosh, and it is time to clear the car.
- 25:10Speaker 3: We've partnered with Beyond Realty to help stock local classrooms,
- 25:14Speaker 3: and we actually have a teacher explaining why clear the
- 25:17Speaker 3: car is so important.
- 25:19Speaker 5: Hi, my name is Brendan AxMan. I'm a fifth grade
- 25:22Speaker 5: teacher at Roosevelt Elementary in Fargo. A lot of my
- 25:25Speaker 5: students come in without necessary materials that they need to
- 25:28Speaker 5: succeed in school, such as folders, markers, color pencils, crans, scissors, notebooks,
- 25:34Speaker 5: or even a backpack. Without outside help, my normal spending
- 25:39Speaker 5: for a school year hovers around five hundred dollars. Any
- 25:42Speaker 5: help for my students and students around the district would
- 25:45Speaker 5: be much appreciated. Thank you.
- 25:47Speaker 3: So you can help ease that burden and get those
- 25:50Speaker 3: classrooms stocked. All you have to do is head to
- 25:53Speaker 3: our Instagram stories at Big nine eight seven FM for
- 25:57Speaker 3: the teacher wish lists. Their Amazon car is on there.
- 26:01Speaker 3: You tap through, click the link and help buy supplies
- 26:04Speaker 3: to stock these classrooms so that teachers don't have to
- 26:07Speaker 3: go so much out of pocket. The goal is to
- 26:10Speaker 3: make sure that students have a successful school year, right
- 26:14Speaker 3: and teachers, when they say it takes a village, teachers
- 26:17Speaker 3: are one of the biggest parts of that village and
- 26:20Speaker 3: so they work hard to make sure that students are educated,
- 26:24Speaker 3: have everything that they need. But yeah, they'd have to
- 26:27Speaker 3: come out of pocket for a lot of times. So
- 26:30Speaker 3: you can help ease that burden. And that's why we've
- 26:32Speaker 3: partnered with Beyond Realty so that we can clear the
- 26:35Speaker 3: carts for teachers in the FM area.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Again, it is live right now.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Our newest batch of carts is up, so head to
- 26:43Speaker 3: our stories at Big nine eight seven FM on Instagram
- 26:47Speaker 3: and all of the teachers who we've been supporting throughout
- 26:52Speaker 3: the clear the Cart season are all saved to our
- 26:55Speaker 3: highlight reel. So if you missed anybody, if you want
- 26:58Speaker 3: to go back and help support other tea teachers, go
- 27:01Speaker 3: to our highlight reel and you can find their cards there.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 27:04Speaker 2: And it's it might be kind of shocking to know
- 27:07Speaker 2: or to learn, but they are going to be teachers
- 27:10Speaker 2: in the FM area and you know around the entire
- 27:12Speaker 2: country who spend more time with these students. Then some
- 27:17Speaker 2: parents get to yeah like that, Yeah, why not try
- 27:20Speaker 2: to help, you know, supply those teachers who mean so
- 27:23Speaker 2: much to your kids and they spend a lot of
- 27:26Speaker 2: time with them. So Big nine eighty seven on Instagram,
- 27:29Speaker 2: help out the teachers and the students for an exciting
- 27:32Speaker 2: upcoming school year. As clear the Cart, once again brought
- 27:34Speaker 2: to you by Beyond Realty. I starting off the day
- 27:42Speaker 2: with something good. This is Gabe's good news on Big
- 27:46Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven. This is a story today about dedication.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Gabe's good news of the day comes also with a
- 27:55Speaker 2: little side of pizza. There is this man from Iowa
- 28:00Speaker 2: who is named Jason, and he has visited all two
- 28:04Speaker 2: hundred and twenty eight pizza ranch locations across the country.
- 28:09Speaker 2: But apparently that wasn't enough, because he is continuing his
- 28:12Speaker 2: pizza ranch quest by visiting some locations that have just
- 28:17Speaker 2: popped up and now they're new and a lot of
- 28:19Speaker 2: these locations are in Northern Minnesota. His latest adventure has
- 28:25Speaker 2: brought him to northern Minnesota, and he did have to
- 28:27Speaker 2: visit Thief River Falls.
- 28:29Speaker 7: Hi.
- 28:30Speaker 8: I hit one hundred on my thirty seventh, two hundred
- 28:32Speaker 8: on my thirty eight, and now two thirty on my fortieth.
- 28:35Speaker 8: And that's why I say no location has ever disappointed me.
- 28:39Speaker 8: You know, they're all they're all unique in what they do.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I love this guy. I love he's got a set
- 28:44Speaker 1: of pipe.
- 28:45Speaker 6: Bit.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yeah, he has got a set of pipes as well.
- 28:47Speaker 1: I mean I can't.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I don't think I've been that dedicated or determined to
- 28:51Speaker 2: do anything.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Well get there in my life.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Uh.
- 28:55Speaker 2: You know, most people, they finish a goal and they
- 28:56Speaker 2: move on. Jason finished his goal and then he basically said, okay,
- 29:02Speaker 2: but what if I ate some more pizza and chicken?
- 29:04Speaker 2: I respect it one thousand percent. That's the kind of
- 29:07Speaker 2: commitment that we can get behind here on Big ninety
- 29:09Speaker 2: eight point seven. Always remember my favorite quote, the world
- 29:12Speaker 2: is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 29:14Speaker 2: be one. And never forget that broken craons they still
- 29:17Speaker 2: color
