New Hampshire state police kept things safe over the July Fourth weekend with aggressive patrols—making nearly 70 arrests, pulling over 1,600 vehicles, and issuing over 650 speeding tickets and 60 for distracted driving. Seventeen were suspected of DUI, and thankfully, no fatalities occurred. On the water, marine patrols stopped 160 boats, flagged 19 for reckless operation, responded to 10 accidents, and made 5 arrests—including 4 for boating under the influence.
