- 1:00Speaker 3: mister His Hop. And today we're in a heavy but
- 1:04Speaker 3: necessary passage of scripture. God is confronting a nation that
- 1:10Speaker 3: is lost spiritual understanding. Replace truth with pride and trusted
- 1:18Speaker 3: in everything except Him. The question God asked today is simple,
- 1:25Speaker 3: but it is powerful. Who is wise enough to understand
- 1:31Speaker 3: what is really happening? Hey? Man, that is a powerful question,
- 1:38Speaker 3: and we want y'all to join us in a live chat.

- 2:08Speaker 3: We hold each other accountable, we pray for each other,
- 2:12Speaker 3: We help each other walk this walk. We know that
- 2:16Speaker 3: this walk is not easy sometimes. And plus the Bible
- 2:20Speaker 3: says that the ingrafted word is able to save our souls.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And the path to life is a narrow and difficult path.
- 2:29Speaker 3: And so we are here to encourage you guys to
- 2:33Speaker 3: walk this path and to stay on it. Don't veer
- 2:36Speaker 3: from the right or from the left. Just call us
- 2:40Speaker 3: your support group on the radio. As we do so,
- 2:46Speaker 3: we'd like to have fun with it. We go verse
- 2:48Speaker 3: by verse through the word. We hit you with some
- 2:51Speaker 3: hot heat, some music, and then we close everything out.
- 2:56Speaker 3: So please stay to the very end. Now, let's pray,
- 3:01Speaker 3: Heavenly Father, we thank you for this opportunity once again, Father,
- 3:05Speaker 3: to come before your thrown Father God. Thank you, Lord
- 3:08Speaker 3: God for teaching us your word. We pray Father that
- 3:12Speaker 3: we will in graph the word, Oh God, because it
- 3:15Speaker 3: is able to save our souls. We pray Father God,
- 3:19Speaker 3: oh Lord, for your anointing and your power and your grace,
- 3:24Speaker 3: Oh Lord, to overflow. And we asked this in Jesus' name. Amen.
- 3:36Speaker 3: All right, all right, we will pick it up in
- 3:41Speaker 3: Jeremiah chapter nine, we're gonna pick it up. I believe
- 3:49Speaker 3: we left off in verse twelve. Yes, verse twelve is
- 3:52Speaker 3: where we left off last time. And as we read Jeremiah,
- 4:01Speaker 3: they call him the weeping Prophet because this ministry was
- 4:05Speaker 3: to oversee the nation as they fall into judgment, into trouble,
- 4:13Speaker 3: into destruction with Almighty God. A heartbreaking situation. But I
- 4:25Speaker 3: believe that we're gonna learn a lot as we go
- 4:27Speaker 3: through this book together. So verse twelve coming at you
- 4:32Speaker 3: with the KJV. Who is why? Who is the wise
- 4:36Speaker 3: man that may understand this? And who is he to
- 4:41Speaker 3: whom the mouth of the Lord hath spoken that he
- 4:45Speaker 3: may declare it for what the land perish and is
- 4:52Speaker 3: burned up like a wilderness that none passes through. Talk
- 5:00Speaker 3: that on one of our other episodes, how the archaeologists
- 5:04Speaker 3: have found ash as they were excavating this ancient city.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And yes, it proves the fact that this city was burnt.
- 5:13Speaker 3: God is very thorough in his judgment. But God here
- 5:19Speaker 3: is asking who is truly wise and understand spiritual things? Right?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Who can understand spiritual reality? Not everyone who speaks has
- 5:32Speaker 3: spiritual insight. Amen. Some people just parrot other people. Some
- 5:40Speaker 3: people can just copy words from a book, even commentaries
- 5:47Speaker 3: and things like that. But God wants to give us
- 5:50Speaker 3: revelation and understand, understanding his spiritual insight as well. Now,
- 5:59Speaker 3: true wisdom is spiritual. It's not intellectual. Right, a person
- 6:05Speaker 3: can know facts but still miss God entirely. We can
- 6:12Speaker 3: get information, we can start a podcast, we can follow
- 6:18Speaker 3: a podcast, and we can get all the information we want.
- 6:24Speaker 3: But if it doesn't turn spiritual, if we don't understand
- 6:30Speaker 3: the heart of God, and then we can still miss it.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Now today you live in a world that is full
- 6:39Speaker 3: of opinions but not much understanding. And God is still
- 6:44Speaker 3: asking a question, who is really listening to me Verse
- 6:51Speaker 3: thirteen and fourteen. And the Lord says, because they have
- 6:55Speaker 3: forsaken my law which I set before them, and have
- 6:59Speaker 3: not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein, but have walked
- 7:06Speaker 3: after the imagination of their own heart, and after baalam,
- 7:12Speaker 3: which their fathers taught them. Now the reason for their
- 7:21Speaker 3: judgment is clear. They left God's word and followed their
- 7:25Speaker 3: own hearts, which is sad, beloved. Spiritual decline always begins
- 7:33Speaker 3: with abandoning scripture as our final authority. Once God's word
- 7:41Speaker 3: is rejected, self becomes the guide, and that is scary.
- 7:49Speaker 3: You don't want to be your own final authority. We
- 7:52Speaker 3: want the word of God to lead us and guide us.
- 7:57Speaker 3: And this is still the same battle that we have today,
- 8:00Speaker 3: God's word versus our feelings. One leads to life, the
- 8:07Speaker 3: other leads to confusion. That's why the Bible calls us
- 8:13Speaker 3: to renew our minds on a daily basis. Amen. Therefore,
- 8:20Speaker 3: thus says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel. Behold,
- 8:23Speaker 3: I will feed them even this people with wormwood. I
- 8:29Speaker 3: don't know what that is, but that sounds nasty. And
- 8:34Speaker 3: have them water, and give them water of gold to drink.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither
- 8:46Speaker 3: they nor their fathers have known, And I will send
- 8:54Speaker 3: a sword after them till I have consumed them. Wow. Now,
- 9:01Speaker 3: worm wood and goal represents bitterness and sorrow. We find
- 9:07Speaker 3: this word wormwood even in the Book of Revelation, where
- 9:13Speaker 3: God throws a meteorite into the seas and it makes
- 9:17Speaker 3: the water bitter. Now, scattering represents instability and loss of peace.
- 9:30Speaker 3: So when people refuse God's correction, he allows them to
- 9:35Speaker 3: experience the consequences of their choices. Wow. Now this is
- 9:43Speaker 3: heavy but true. Sometimes the pain we experience is God
- 9:49Speaker 3: allowing us to see where our choices lead without Him.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Sometimes it's a wake up call. We really need to
- 10:02Speaker 3: understand that we need to rely and depend on the Lord,
- 10:06Speaker 3: our God. Amen. Verse seventeen and eighteen that says the
- 10:10Speaker 3: Lord of Hosts, consider ye and call for the mourning women,
- 10:17Speaker 3: that they may come, and send for cunning women that
- 10:22Speaker 3: may come, Let them make haste and take up a
- 10:28Speaker 3: wailling for us, that our eyes may run down with
- 10:32Speaker 3: tears and our eyelids gush out with waters. Now this
- 10:42Speaker 3: is national mourning. Right, we have a day of national
- 10:47Speaker 3: prayer in our country. Well, this is the day of
- 10:51Speaker 3: national mourning for this nation. God is calling for deep
- 10:58Speaker 3: emotional awareness of sin. God wants us to be heartbroken
- 11:07Speaker 3: over our sin because of how we've hurt the heart
- 11:13Speaker 3: of God by living in such a way. See revival
- 11:20Speaker 3: begins with brokenness before God, a contract in a broken heart.
- 11:28Speaker 3: God will not turn away. Now we don't hear this
- 11:32Speaker 3: much today, but sometimes God allows sorrow to wake us
- 11:36Speaker 3: up spiritually nineteen or twenty one. For a voice is wailing,
- 11:48Speaker 3: for a voice of wailling is heard out of Zion,
- 11:51Speaker 3: out of Zion. Yet hear the word of the Lord.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Oh ye women, and let your ear receive the word
- 12:00Speaker 3: of his mouth. Now the reality of judgment is setting in. Finally,
- 12:10Speaker 3: they're finally getting it. Even the strongest cities are affected
- 12:17Speaker 3: at this point. Ignoring God's warnings eventually leads to an
- 12:25Speaker 3: unavoidable reality. Family. God always speaks before he acts, But
- 12:36Speaker 3: the question is do we listen? Are we listening out
- 12:42Speaker 3: for the voice of God? Verse twenty two and twenty three.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, but
- 12:53Speaker 3: let him that gloriouth, glory in this that he understands
- 13:00Speaker 3: and knoweth me. Now this is a great verse, right here,
- 13:07Speaker 3: a man, one of my favorite verses. Now, God redefines
- 13:16Speaker 3: what true success really is a lot of us trying
- 13:21Speaker 3: to find it in business and education. It's not wisdom,
- 13:26Speaker 3: it is not strength, it's not even wealth. But true
- 13:30Speaker 3: success is knowing God. That's why the Book of Proverbs
- 13:35Speaker 3: tells us to seek wisdom and understanding more than gold
- 13:40Speaker 3: in silver. Because Jesus is wisdom. Amen, Jesus gives us
- 13:51Speaker 3: our understanding. We got to seek the face of God
- 13:55Speaker 3: if we truly want to be successful. In life. Now,
- 14:02Speaker 3: this is one of the clearest definitions of true life
- 14:05Speaker 3: purpose and scripture is knowing God. This is everything successful
- 14:14Speaker 3: without God is empty. But knowing God changes everything, even
- 14:22Speaker 3: in times of hardship. Hallelujah, Verse twenty four through twenty six.
- 14:29Speaker 3: But let him that glory in this that he understandeth
- 14:35Speaker 3: and knoweth me. God closes with a call to relationship
- 14:41Speaker 3: over religion, circumcision, status and outward identity means nothing without.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It looks like you lost another one.
- 14:54Speaker 3: A heart that is transformed without a heart that is
- 14:59Speaker 3: bless our religion is meaningless without inward change. And please
- 15:07Speaker 3: remember God is always looking at the heart. God is
- 15:12Speaker 3: not impressed by your labels, or by your titles or whatever.
- 15:19Speaker 3: God is looking for hearts that truly know Him, that
- 15:26Speaker 3: are truly hungry for Him, that are truly seeking after Him.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Because beloved, remember it says in the New Testament, he
- 15:42Speaker 3: will tell a lot of people I never knew you,
- 15:47Speaker 3: Ye that work iniquity depart from me. We need to
- 15:51Speaker 3: know the Lord, our God from the heart. You need
- 15:58Speaker 3: a heartfelt relationship with him. How do you do it
- 16:01Speaker 3: is quoting his word. You need to constantly quote his scripture.
- 16:06Speaker 3: In our hearts. Memorize it. Don't allow our emotions to
- 16:10Speaker 3: lead us. Allow the word of God to guide our
- 16:14Speaker 3: lives into Speak to him, develop a healthy prayer life.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Just talk to him about everything. Amen, pray without ceasing. Amen.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Be right back.
- 16:32Speaker 4: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 16:35Speaker 4: is the His Hop radio show.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Do you refine my dreams as our clas in my
- 16:55Speaker 5: face so they can't see your face and me? Father,
- 16:59Speaker 5: teach me how fun and have a sample things.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Surely I would give you glory for returning se.
- 17:08Speaker 5: You're outa ead.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Once upon a time the master tree was just the seed.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Grow my faith, oh Lord, and show me what is
- 17:17Speaker 5: heavenly Jesus, you're the truth.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Doesn't matter how I don't want to be. I don't
- 17:26Speaker 4: want to be far.
- 17:30Speaker 3: From your.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Jolly arabn yody arab. Help me your God, ego, I
- 17:41Speaker 5: don't want to be. I don't want to be far
- 17:46Speaker 5: from your jolly aramn yody arabe. Help me your God, Yo, show.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Me where you are, because like this song on Comfortable,
- 18:01Speaker 3: I'm in the dark.
- 18:02Speaker 5: I walk the narrow paths for you. Faithed desd right,
- 18:07Speaker 5: it's not my poison, but Lord, you know.
- 18:09Speaker 3: My heart.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Pleasing gnocast, so help me use it as a weapon
- 18:17Speaker 5: gainst the father One.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Your grace is so much greater than all the sin
- 18:22Speaker 3: I've done. You so love the world that you g
- 18:25Speaker 3: aroung the side.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I don't want to be.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I don't want to be bo.
- 18:34Speaker 2: From you.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Go be goolly, I mean help me your bye. I
- 18:45Speaker 5: don't want to be I don't want to be bod
- 18:50Speaker 5: from you. Golly, I mean golly, I mean help me
- 18:56Speaker 5: your bye. You.
- 19:17Speaker 4: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 19:21Speaker 4: is the His Hop Radio show.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Yo, Yo, we are back from the break. I'm your brother,
- 19:43Speaker 3: I'm your boy, mister his Hop and that was sundry
- 19:47Speaker 3: with far from You air I breathe. Come on now
- 19:51Speaker 3: on the musical break. I want to give a huge
- 19:53Speaker 3: shout out to the Life Chat. We appreciate everyone who
- 19:56Speaker 3: shows up, everyone who actually logs in and shout out
- 20:00Speaker 3: to a Brothers Zoom three and everyone else who logs
- 20:05Speaker 3: in today. I tell you what, it's encouraging. It helps
- 20:10Speaker 3: us to keep the podcast going and it is a blessing.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Hopefully you guys are getting value. Hopefully we are helping
- 20:19Speaker 3: you to know the Lord, your God, from the inside
- 20:24Speaker 3: of your hearts and the inner chambers. We are the
- 20:28Speaker 3: temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen. So right now, let's
- 20:35Speaker 3: go ahead and start our accountability partner segment. This is
- 20:38Speaker 3: something that is very vital and you are never meant
- 20:41Speaker 3: to do this walk by ourselves. I will encourage everyone
- 20:46Speaker 3: listening to this podcast if you haven't already, find a
- 20:49Speaker 3: home church, get locked in. Get locked in, not logged in,
- 20:53Speaker 3: but locked in with a Bible, believing a Bible, teaching
- 20:57Speaker 3: pastor and ministry. Find a group of people that can
- 21:02Speaker 3: pray for you and weaken the Bible says, confess our
- 21:06Speaker 3: false to one another so that we could be healed. Amen.
- 21:11Speaker 3: So it's a protection, it's a great thing. And allow
- 21:16Speaker 3: someone to hold you accountable. You know, we saw in
- 21:20Speaker 3: this podcast it says that the scripture it says that
- 21:25Speaker 3: they followed their own imagination and they follow the own
- 21:30Speaker 3: dictates of their hearts. People follow their emotions more and
- 21:35Speaker 3: they follow the word of God. And this is that
- 21:38Speaker 3: you're mental. So we have to choose. We have a
- 21:41Speaker 3: choice to make today. Am I going to submit and
- 21:43Speaker 3: surrender to scripture? And you got to know what the
- 21:47Speaker 3: scripture say in order to do that, or am I
- 21:50Speaker 3: gonna just follow my own emotional and my own thoughts
- 21:56Speaker 3: and desires, which God will allow you to do so,
- 21:59Speaker 3: But then you read the consequences of doing your own thing.
- 22:03Speaker 3: We were never meant to be our own God, We
- 22:06Speaker 3: are never meant to make our own decisions. So having
- 22:09Speaker 3: someone that holds us accountable, holds us to scripture and
- 22:13Speaker 3: let us know like, no, that is whack. You're following
- 22:16Speaker 3: your emotions right there, that is not what the word says.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Is a valuable thing. Sometimes it can save our bacon.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Somebody who's mature in the Lord, somebody we can trust,
- 22:28Speaker 3: not somebody that's gonna gossip and put your business out there,
- 22:31Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. So it takes wisdom on
- 22:36Speaker 3: our part as well to allow this to manifest in
- 22:43Speaker 3: our lives, because a lot of people get church hurt
- 22:45Speaker 3: because they trust in people who are not mature in
- 22:50Speaker 3: the Lord. You know. Anyway, I don't know why I'm
- 22:53Speaker 3: going down that rabbit trail, but today we do have
- 22:56Speaker 3: a challenge. Will give you a daily challenge in the
- 22:59Speaker 3: life chat over there. You can read it and the
- 23:03Speaker 3: accountability partner today call them, text them and ask them.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Where are you trusting your own understanding instead of Gud's word?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Now bring it back to him this week. Amen. What
- 23:19Speaker 3: area in your life are you following your own emotions?
- 23:23Speaker 3: Are you imagining things instead of getting into God's word
- 23:28Speaker 3: and getting clarity. We cannot trust our own hearts. Our
- 23:32Speaker 3: hearts are wicked, beloved. Amen. Also, we just want to
- 23:39Speaker 3: let you know that his Hot Radio is a monitored
- 23:41Speaker 3: in a reporting radio station. We stream music twenty four
- 23:45Speaker 3: to seven. Hopefully you guys are able to tune in
- 23:50Speaker 3: and listen, and we would like to pick up our listenership,
- 23:54Speaker 3: get more people tuning in. And we have scriptures. We
- 23:59Speaker 3: have take stuff off of like TikTok and social media.
- 24:03Speaker 3: People have powerful uh scriptures or powerful truths that they
- 24:08Speaker 3: want to share. It's like you're you're, you're, You're gonna

- 25:30Speaker 3: invite you to come and give us some healthy competition.
- 25:35Speaker 3: We'd love to have fun on this podcast. The first
- 25:38Speaker 3: one to post this in a live chat wins bragging
- 25:42Speaker 3: rights for today. The question is who built the Arc?
- 25:46Speaker 3: Now this should be an easy one. Who built the
- 25:51Speaker 3: Arc during the Great Flood in the Book of Genesis.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Also another community shout out, we want to shout out
- 26:07Speaker 3: the Exchange Club. Yesterday we were invited to City Hall
- 26:18Speaker 3: North Las Vegas. The mayor was there and a lot
- 26:22Speaker 3: of officials were there and we were recognized by the
- 26:28Speaker 3: City of North Flas Vegas. The Exchange Club is a
- 26:31Speaker 3: group of nonprofit organizations who come together to do good
- 26:37Speaker 3: things in the community, and his Hot Nation we are
- 26:41Speaker 3: one of those. And so I went down there with
- 26:45Speaker 3: my his Hot radio shirt, went down the city hall,
- 26:49Speaker 3: took pictures with the mayor. We got a plaque and
- 26:56Speaker 3: they were reckoned. We were recognized because we have a
- 27:00Speaker 3: lay of flags, the Constitution and things like that, trying
- 27:05Speaker 3: to teach our children and youth about America and so.
- 27:10Speaker 3: And you know what, one thing that really stood out
- 27:12Speaker 3: to me was before the session, we were in the
- 27:15Speaker 3: chamber I forget commerce chamber or whatever, the chamber room
- 27:21Speaker 3: or whatever, and we were in there and they before
- 27:28Speaker 3: they started everything, they started off with the prayer and
- 27:32Speaker 3: they ended the prayer in Jesus' name, like they were
- 27:35Speaker 3: not ashamed to say the name of Jesus. Now this
- 27:39Speaker 3: is a this is the Mayor's office North thus Vegas,
- 27:42Speaker 3: keep our mayor in prayer. I thought that was amazing
- 27:46Speaker 3: and I was surprised that they lifted up the name
- 27:49Speaker 3: of Jesus in that setting. So a man. And also
- 27:54Speaker 3: we will be with the Exchange Club.
- 27:56Speaker 5: We will.
- 27:58Speaker 3: My wife and my daughter will be going out of
- 28:00Speaker 3: town next week. We just won an award with our
- 28:03Speaker 3: so everyone is scene program got recognized for that. And
