Latest / Early Edition with Ryan Bridge / Ryan Bridge: Can we please stop with the gym grunting
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Do you know what really grinds my gears when I
- 0:01Speaker 1: go to the gym, And I go to the gym
- 0:03Speaker 1: because summer is coming and I don't want to look
- 0:05Speaker 1: fat when I go to the beach like the rest
- 0:07Speaker 1: of you, and I've been eating all winter, and these
- 0:10Speaker 1: things need to be done. What I've noticed is, you
- 0:12Speaker 1: know when you watch tennis and you hear the eh
- 0:16Speaker 1: ah when they're playing, that is happening at the gym.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I don't know if it's just my gym. I don't
- 0:22Speaker 1: know if this is happening at your gym, But can
- 0:25Speaker 1: we please stop the grunting? Is there a legitimate physiological
- 0:31Speaker 1: reason for you to do that? I don't think there is.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I've never felt the urge to grunt or are you alive?
- 0:40Speaker 1: Are you dying? Why are you doing this? It's off putting,
- 0:44Speaker 1: it's inappropriate, and it's inconsiderate. Have a thought for those
- 0:48Speaker 1: people who are trying to work out around you, and
- 0:50Speaker 1: shut your mouth. I mean, obviously, breathe, that's quite important,
- 0:53Speaker 1: but other than that, just shut up. Very off putting,
- 0:57Speaker 1: very annoying. It sounds like that bell is getting more
- 1:01Speaker 1: than a deadlift.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Sometimes sometimes I listen to it and I think, oh
- 1:05Speaker 2: my goodness, is there going to be a climax at
- 1:08Speaker 2: some points?
- 1:12Speaker 1: Oh good lord? Right, anyway, there's my rant for today.
