- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now you'll find out what it all means.
- 0:05Speaker 3: He smarts alone on seven tenor.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Hey, it's almost Friday. I'm getting there. Hey, a lot
- 0:17Speaker 4: to get to. We'll get to the King's visit yesterday.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Not a single no Kings sign anywhere. We'll get to
- 0:24Speaker 4: your own Powell. We'll get to a ran, We'll get
- 0:26Speaker 4: to James Comy, We'll get to a crazy mom Donnie,
- 0:29Speaker 4: and a whole lot more coming up. So the King
- 0:33Speaker 4: is gone. He left fast. He was here yesterday the
- 0:37Speaker 4: World Trade Center ceremony where Mayor Mom Donnie, I guess
- 0:43Speaker 4: greeted him. You know, if you met the king, what
- 0:49Speaker 4: the hell do you talk to him about? I mean,
- 0:50Speaker 4: I've actually talked to him a few times here and there.
- 0:53Speaker 4: There's not much to talk to him about. He loves clothes,
- 0:56Speaker 4: if you want to talk about Turnbull and Asser and
- 0:58Speaker 4: where he gets a suit. He loves talking about that.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Outside of that, there's not much. But you're supposed to be,
- 1:03Speaker 4: you know, warm and welcome to our country. We are
- 1:06Speaker 4: so happy to have you here. Whatever, Mom, Donnie would
- 1:11Speaker 4: what would he do if he met the king? What
- 1:13Speaker 4: would he say to him?
- 1:14Speaker 5: If I was to speak to the king separately from that,
- 1:17Speaker 5: I would probably encourage him to return the coin or diamond.
- 1:23Speaker 4: The glen or diamond is some something back when Britain
- 1:27Speaker 4: had colonized everything with some diamond in India that Britain
- 1:32Speaker 4: still possesses. And you know, out of all the issues
- 1:37Speaker 4: you could talk to Britain about, out of all the
- 1:39Speaker 4: major issues they're supporting us in Iran, there's a million
- 1:44Speaker 4: issues we have with Britain.
- 1:46Speaker 5: If I was to speak to the king separately from that,
- 1:49Speaker 5: I would probably encourage him to return the coin or diamond.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I guarantee you he didn't know where the hell the
- 1:55Speaker 4: claim or diamond is or what it is. And when
- 1:59Speaker 4: first of all, when he met you could see the
- 2:00Speaker 4: look on his face when he met Mom Donnie. He
- 2:05Speaker 4: kind of looked at everybody and who is this? And
- 2:09Speaker 4: they had Mayor Bloomberg there, I think as they needed
- 2:11Speaker 4: an actual adult to talk to the king. So it's
- 2:15Speaker 4: pretty embarrassing that Mom Donnie was somewhere there on the sidelines.
- 2:18Speaker 4: But it was Mayor Bloomberg who laid the reef with
- 2:21Speaker 4: the king. It was Mayor Bloomberg who talked to him,
- 2:25Speaker 4: who was basically the host of this whole thing. Now,
- 2:28Speaker 4: Mayor Bloomberg has quite a relationship with Great Britain. Bloomberg
- 2:33Speaker 4: has major, major offices in London, has for years, Bloomberg
- 2:36Speaker 4: has lived in London, has always had a place there,
- 2:40Speaker 4: very very very big on Great Britain. So and if
- 2:44Speaker 4: Mom Donnie had to ad said to him, returned the
- 2:48Speaker 4: later diamond, I'm sure the King would have looked at
- 2:52Speaker 4: him and said, no, what a silly thing. I mean,
- 2:58Speaker 4: this guy's the mayor of York. How the hell did
- 3:01Speaker 4: he get to be the Mayor of New York. Except
- 3:03Speaker 4: after that they split up. Camilla went to the library
- 3:07Speaker 4: for some literary book event. They called it a literary event,
- 3:12Speaker 4: the library literary. The host showed her around was Sarah
- 3:17Speaker 4: Jessica Parker, and then there was Anna wind Tower. I
- 3:22Speaker 4: really don't think these are two great figures in American literature.
- 3:26Speaker 4: But I like the book section in the City, the
- 3:28Speaker 4: original book, but literature I don't know. So this was
- 3:33Speaker 4: the literary luncheon. Then the King went to Harlem to
- 3:39Speaker 4: look at some organic farming. And normally, when you're the
- 3:44Speaker 4: King of the Queen, they show you these things and
- 3:45Speaker 4: you got to pretend you're interested. But in this case,
- 3:48Speaker 4: it is something that Prince Charles for all those years
- 3:52Speaker 4: was very big on organic, this organic farming. He was
- 3:55Speaker 4: very green all that kind of stuff. And then I
- 3:59Speaker 4: don't know where, they disappeared for a couple hours, and
- 4:01Speaker 4: then they came to Christie's auction House in Rockefeller Center
- 4:06Speaker 4: for a big gala, a dinner auction. It was to
- 4:12Speaker 4: be a massive event and everybody was there and it
- 4:16Speaker 4: was huge. It was at Christie's, but I noticed the
- 4:20Speaker 4: King and Queen stayed about twelve minutes. They were not
- 4:23Speaker 4: there that long.
- 4:24Speaker 6: You know.
- 4:24Speaker 4: It said, there'll be a cocktail reception, there'll be an auction,
- 4:29Speaker 4: there'll be a gala dinner. But if you were watching
- 4:31Speaker 4: carefully in that cocktail reception, they kind of disappeared. They
- 4:34Speaker 4: got out of there pretty fast. It didn't last long,
- 4:37Speaker 4: the whole thing. But they continued along with this great
- 4:40Speaker 4: gala dinner, and you know, intentionally they had the state
- 4:44Speaker 4: dinner at the White House the night before and there's
- 4:49Speaker 4: a million people that were I mean not a million,
- 4:51Speaker 4: but the people were there. Put a million pictures on
- 4:53Speaker 4: Instagram of everything that happened. Brett Bhaar was there, Laura
- 4:58Speaker 4: Ingram a lot of media people. Marie, you have Barbaromo,
- 5:01Speaker 4: Senator McCormick, a lot of senators, and they all posted
- 5:04Speaker 4: all the pictures they took that night. I notice one thing.
- 5:08Speaker 4: It's two long tables, like a horseshoe kind of thing.
- 5:13Speaker 4: So everybody are these very very long tables. So most
- 5:17Speaker 4: people at the long, long table, you're miles away from
- 5:20Speaker 4: the king. And then noticing people took pictures with each other,
- 5:25Speaker 4: but nobody had a picture with the king, so apparently
- 5:27Speaker 4: he just stayed up in the front, never went around
- 5:30Speaker 4: greeting everybody. But tomorrow today they're in Virginia. They'll visit
- 5:38Speaker 4: a park, a national park, they'll visit a horse farm,
- 5:43Speaker 4: and you see, you might be thinking, you I'd love
- 5:45Speaker 4: to be the king. Could you imagine being the King
- 5:47Speaker 4: of England? Oh my god, the King of England. This
- 5:49Speaker 4: is what you do all day. They take you to
- 5:52Speaker 4: national park and show you around, and you got to
- 5:55Speaker 4: pretend you're interested. Then they take you to a horse farm.
- 6:00Speaker 4: I mean, you could be interested in horses. I think
- 6:02Speaker 4: she is, but you know, after you've toured four hundred
- 6:07Speaker 4: horse farms around the world, it's not that exciting. So
- 6:10Speaker 4: you got and you got to pretend you're interested the
- 6:11Speaker 4: whole time, and then I think that's it. Yeah, then
- 6:15Speaker 4: they'll they'll leave, they'll go back to Great Britain. I'm
- 6:18Speaker 4: sure they'll be back soon. He was Actually, he's actually
- 6:20Speaker 4: been here a lot. He was here in twenty fifteen,
- 6:24Speaker 4: he was here in twenty eleven, he was here in
- 6:26Speaker 4: two thousand and five. She doesn't come that often, but
- 6:31Speaker 4: it was quite an exciting visit. It looked good. I mean,
- 6:37Speaker 4: the conversation not too cinphilating, but it looked good. Heye,
- 6:40Speaker 4: Jerome Powell, he's out as FED sherman. Kevin Warsh took
- 6:46Speaker 4: one step forward yesterday to getting confirmed. It looks like
- 6:49Speaker 4: he will get confirmed. He's a good choice. He's everybody's choice.
- 6:52Speaker 4: President Trump wanted him, and all the top guys. You know,
- 6:55Speaker 4: we'll talk to Steve Moore later about this, but Kevin
- 6:58Speaker 4: Hassett and Scott Bessant and all the top financial guys
- 7:04Speaker 4: wanted Kevin Worrish. So it'll be him now. When you
- 7:08Speaker 4: take over as the FED chairman, the other chairman leaves.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Technically he's still on the board, but he leaves. It's
- 7:13Speaker 4: just tradition. Paul says, he's not leaving. He's going to
- 7:16Speaker 4: stay on the board. Now, this is like the tenant
- 7:20Speaker 4: you can't get out. You got to go to landlord
- 7:21Speaker 4: tenant court. So this is embarrassing. Paul's going to stay.
- 7:25Speaker 4: He said it has to do with the criminal investigation.
- 7:27Speaker 4: But they've dropped the criminal investigation. That turned it over
- 7:31Speaker 4: to an inspector general, which is the appropriate thing to do.
- 7:34Speaker 4: But he still won't leave. I've said that I will
- 7:36Speaker 4: not leave the board until this investigation is well and
- 7:39Speaker 4: truly over with transparency and finality, and I stand by that. Yeah,
- 7:43Speaker 4: now they can torture him out. He can stay on
- 7:46Speaker 4: the board, but they can torture him out. They could
- 7:49Speaker 4: just never let him speak in the meetings. They can
- 7:52Speaker 4: move his parking space to two miles away, they can
- 7:56Speaker 4: take his locker away. They can do stuff to get
- 7:58Speaker 4: him out of there. But he's a bad guy. He's
- 8:01Speaker 4: the Komy of the FED. Speaking to Komy yesterday. Kobe
- 8:08Speaker 4: was brought in yesterday. He surrendered to the FED yesterday
- 8:12Speaker 4: on charges he threatened to kill the president in the
- 8:15Speaker 4: Instagram post. Komy sixty five surrendered at Federal Courthouse, Alexandria, Virginia. Now,
- 8:22Speaker 4: the last time they charge. You know, they didn't get him.
- 8:24Speaker 4: But this is a little different because this is going
- 8:27Speaker 4: to be in the Eastern District of North Carolina. That's
- 8:30Speaker 4: a conservative Republican sort of US Attorney Republican sort of district.
- 8:35Speaker 4: So he won't get the crazy left wing jury that
- 8:38Speaker 4: will automatically let Comy out. So he's got a problem
- 8:41Speaker 4: with the venue. He's got Patrick Fitzgerald once again in law.
- 8:45Speaker 4: As his lawyer, Patrick Fitzgerald was a prosecutor a couple
- 8:52Speaker 4: of major, major cases. He was always considered a real
- 8:55Speaker 4: left wing sort of a prosecutor. But he'll be the
- 9:01Speaker 4: attorney now. I don't you know, they're both former US Attorney's,
- 9:05Speaker 4: former Justice Department. They're obviously close friends. I don't he
- 9:09Speaker 4: may not be charging. You know. One of the things
- 9:12Speaker 4: when you get charged with this stuff and you have
- 9:13Speaker 4: to fight it, it drains you just cast you millions.
- 9:17Speaker 4: But that Gerald may be doing this for free. Now,
- 9:20Speaker 4: Comy's a very very wealthy guy. In between government jobs,
- 9:24Speaker 4: he worked at hedge funds, so he's a very wealthy guy.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Lived in Connecticut for a while, worked for Ray Dahalia.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Now he's going to argue that he just came along
- 9:35Speaker 4: saw these seashells. But if you check back, there was
- 9:40Speaker 4: another incident way before that with seashells on a beach
- 9:43Speaker 4: that Komy Instagram. This is the second time he's happened
- 9:46Speaker 4: to come upon seashells. Something soundsf fishy there. The real
- 9:51Speaker 4: problem is Komy is actually you know, when you see
- 9:54Speaker 4: him as the prosecutor, he just stands there all you know, somber.
- 9:59Speaker 4: But in real life he's an awkward, uncomfortable sort of
- 10:03Speaker 4: a guy to be around. He's a weirdo, which is
- 10:06Speaker 4: fine if you're the prosecutor. You know, you can be
- 10:08Speaker 4: awkward and uncomfortable and have no personality and be the prosecutor.
- 10:12Speaker 4: But for some reason a few years ago, he decided
- 10:14Speaker 4: he would become the next Kim Kardashian. He decided he
- 10:18Speaker 4: would become this fun influencer on Instagram. And when you're
- 10:22Speaker 4: a big, weird, awkward, somber guy, you don't know how
- 10:25Speaker 4: to do it. You can't do it, you have no id.
- 10:27Speaker 4: And over the last couple of years, he has put
- 10:29Speaker 4: out some of the most cringe worthy videos where he's
- 10:32Speaker 4: trying to be cute or funny or cool or they're
- 10:35Speaker 4: just I mean the most cringey videos you've ever seen.
- 10:39Speaker 4: The Seashells thing. Even if it was not a threat,
- 10:42Speaker 4: it's just kind of stupid. Komy's going to argue that,
- 10:47Speaker 4: you know, having been working worked in restaurants, eighty six
- 10:51Speaker 4: just meant get rid of something unruly customer, throw them out. Okay,
- 10:57Speaker 4: it did mean that in restaurants. But also, as Trump
- 10:59Speaker 4: points out, eighty six, you know it's a mob term
- 11:03Speaker 4: for kill him. You know, you ever see.
- 11:05Speaker 2: The movies eighty six?
- 11:07Speaker 7: The mobster says to one of his wonderful associates, eighty six,
- 11:12Speaker 7: that means kill him.
- 11:13Speaker 4: There you go. I think I've seen every mob movie
- 11:16Speaker 4: a thousand times. I never did you ever once hear
- 11:18Speaker 4: in a mob movie eighty six? I don't think so.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Did you ever hear d Niro say eighty six? I've
- 11:26Speaker 4: never heard that. Did you ever hear Michael Corleone say
- 11:29Speaker 4: eighty six? And I've never heard that? But again, from
- 11:33Speaker 4: what I hear, this other stuff coming. They got more
- 11:35Speaker 4: on him. This is just to get the ball rolling.
- 11:38Speaker 4: There'll be other charges added into this later. But call
- 11:41Speaker 4: me a bad guy. He knew exactly what that meant.
- 11:44Speaker 7: A child knows what that meant if you're the FBI
- 11:48Speaker 7: director and you don't know what that meant, that meant assassination,
- 11:53Speaker 7: and it says it loud and clear.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Well, he's got a point there. If you're the FBI director,
- 12:03Speaker 4: you know, well it's vague, it's borderline, but still if
- 12:07Speaker 4: you're a former FBI director, you shouldn't be doing that.
- 12:12Speaker 4: It was again, call me a very very very awkward guy.
- 12:18Speaker 4: So you know that cop that was beat up in
- 12:21Speaker 4: the liquor store, I mean, not in the cop, the
- 12:23Speaker 4: guy the cops beat up in the liquor store. He's
- 12:26Speaker 4: now suing the city. You've seen the video. They think
- 12:30Speaker 4: he's the criminal they're looking for, and it was just
- 12:34Speaker 4: a bunch of very very very bad coincidences. He looked
- 12:39Speaker 4: exactly like the description, and part of the description is
- 12:43Speaker 4: the guy who's wearing like green neon shorts. So the
- 12:47Speaker 4: guy looks exactly like the guy and he's wearing green
- 12:50Speaker 4: neon shorts. I mean, the odds of this, so they
- 12:54Speaker 4: had pretty good reason to think that was the guy.
- 12:57Speaker 4: And I mean you could argue that this guy, I mean,
- 13:01Speaker 4: you can't even argue it is true. This guy is
- 13:03Speaker 4: committing a crime. He's resisting arrest. You can't do that.
- 13:06Speaker 4: You have to submit to the arrest and then get
- 13:08Speaker 4: it straighten out. But they are beating them and punching them,
- 13:14Speaker 4: and you know, when you got that video, it doesn't
- 13:16Speaker 4: look good, and you got Mamdani as mayor and you
- 13:18Speaker 4: got a certain atmosphere on now. So the guy was
- 13:23Speaker 4: not charged with resisting arrest and the cops have had
- 13:26Speaker 4: their guns and shields taken away. His name is Timothy Brown.
- 13:30Speaker 4: He's forty six. If you saw the video yesterday, he's
- 13:35Speaker 4: a sympathetic guy. He's an articulate guy. He'd be great
- 13:38Speaker 4: on the witness stand. That's a problem, you know, you'd
- 13:41Speaker 4: probably have a big problem if he testifies. Now he
- 13:44Speaker 4: came in with a neck brace and he's on crutches
- 13:47Speaker 4: and he's bandaged up all over. Now people are pointing
- 13:50Speaker 4: out the day after the beating, when he was on TV,
- 13:53Speaker 4: he didn't have all of that stuff. It's like the
- 13:55Speaker 4: old gangsters in Casino. You know, as soon as they're indicted,
- 13:58Speaker 4: they got a neck brace, they got they're in a wheelchair.
- 14:02Speaker 4: So he's suing for one hundred million. The city will
- 14:07Speaker 4: probably settle it. They're not going to want to take
- 14:09Speaker 4: this to court. Again, he's a good sympathetic figure, a
- 14:13Speaker 4: good talker. They're not gonna want to take this to court,
- 14:15Speaker 4: so they'll settle, probably, I hate to say it, probably
- 14:18Speaker 4: fifty million. Now, normally it'd settled this for twenty million.
- 14:22Speaker 4: But it's Mom, Donnie, and you know how he just
- 14:27Speaker 4: throws away tax payer money left and right. If he'll
- 14:30Speaker 4: spend fifty if he'll spend thirty million for a grocery store,
- 14:33Speaker 4: he'll spend fifty million to settle this. So this guy's
- 14:36Speaker 4: going to do very very very well.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Uh.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Price of oil we'll get to I ran coming up.
- 14:41Speaker 4: We'll talk about Iran. The price of oil, for some
- 14:44Speaker 4: reason just spiked briefly. They went up to one hundred
- 14:48Speaker 4: and twenty six dollars again. It was all over the news,
- 14:50Speaker 4: breaking news. Oil has spiked a one twenty six. This
- 14:53Speaker 4: is all you kept hearing, ending where you turned New
- 14:56Speaker 4: York Times. It just dropped twenty one points to this anywhere.
- 15:01Speaker 4: The spy I didn't know what the cause of spike.
- 15:03Speaker 4: He went up one twenty six. It's now one o four.
- 15:09Speaker 4: The spike is breaking news. That's all you heard on MSNBC.
- 15:16Speaker 4: It just dropped twenty one points and no mention of it.
- 15:18Speaker 4: No mention of it. They don't mention it anyway. We
- 15:21Speaker 4: got a lot to get to. We'll take some calls.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Next eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is
- 15:27Speaker 4: the number? Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Give woor oh, bre said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 15:35Speaker 4: hear Mark.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Simone and all the WR hosts in an instance, go.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Back to the Marximo show on wor.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Christine
- 15:50Speaker 4: in Manhattan. Christine, how you doing?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Hi?
- 15:53Speaker 8: Can you hear me?
- 15:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:55Speaker 9: Oh great?
- 15:56Speaker 4: Listen right the way I can hear you without a phone,
- 15:58Speaker 4: the way you talk.
- 16:00Speaker 8: Oh well, I'm going to get this news across to
- 16:03Speaker 8: you if you don't already know it. When in twenty eighteen,
- 16:08Speaker 8: Queen Elizabeth the second before she died, conferred a royal
- 16:12Speaker 8: title on Bloomberg. This was KB E Knight of the
- 16:17Speaker 8: British Empire.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Yes he has They do realize this is not breaking news.
- 16:25Speaker 8: Well, you didn't mention it when you were talking about Bloomberg.
- 16:27Speaker 8: You don't really need to mention that he entertained his master,
- 16:30Speaker 8: the king.
- 16:31Speaker 4: It was about two thousand people. Can you start as
- 16:34Speaker 4: a member of the British Empire and MBE, then you
- 16:36Speaker 4: become a CBE, a commander, and then you become this guy.
- 16:40Speaker 8: This guy is a kb E and it is high
- 16:44Speaker 8: three levels. The Queen conforted on him. The First Amendment
- 16:50Speaker 8: of the US Constitution states no royal titles.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Yeah, we know all this.
- 16:57Speaker 8: He brought it up. A lot of people don't know it.
- 17:04Speaker 4: I think it's not that urgent. Whenever you start with
- 17:07Speaker 4: you know, in twenty eighteen, it's not breaking news. Now
- 17:10Speaker 4: you actually you know, you get there's actually four levels.
- 17:13Speaker 4: But like, for instance, if you were the Beatles at
- 17:18Speaker 4: the height of their fame, they were knighted, Like you
- 17:20Speaker 4: go right to level one Beatles, you're really big, you're knighted.
- 17:25Speaker 4: They become knights. Patula Clark got an MBE. That's like
- 17:29Speaker 4: a notch down. That's member of the British Empire. She
- 17:32Speaker 4: may have been elevated since then, but it depends. Hey,
- 17:35Speaker 4: speaking of the Beatles, they were big in Europe. But
- 17:38Speaker 4: then it came and did the Sullivan Show, that famous
- 17:40Speaker 4: Sunday night, and like I think it was eighty million
- 17:43Speaker 4: people watched and the next day they you know, that
- 17:47Speaker 4: was it. They took America by something. They were on
- 17:48Speaker 4: the Ed Sullivan Show. Everybody in America saw them. Now,
- 17:53Speaker 4: think about this, if they came over here today, what
- 17:57Speaker 4: would they do? Where would they go? There's no variety
- 18:00Speaker 4: shows in prime time. They could go on the Tonight
- 18:03Speaker 4: Show with Jimmy Fallon. That's about nine hundred thousand people,
- 18:06Speaker 4: it's not eighty million. They could go on Kimmel Fallon Colbert.
- 18:11Speaker 4: They could go on every night for a week and
- 18:13Speaker 4: they'd reach about maybe three million people. That's about it.
- 18:16Speaker 4: There's no where if they came to America. There's no
- 18:18Speaker 4: where you could go to do that.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Now.
- 18:21Speaker 4: The closest you could get to that today, believe or now,
- 18:24Speaker 4: it's iHeart. When was the last time we did this.
- 18:27Speaker 4: We've done it once in a while. Once in a
- 18:30Speaker 4: iHeart will do a special thing where all like one
- 18:33Speaker 4: thousand radio stations will play the same thing at the
- 18:35Speaker 4: same moment at one thirty eight thirty in the morning.
- 18:38Speaker 4: We did it a few years ago. Was it for
- 18:40Speaker 4: the new Billy Joel record? No, it's for something some
- 18:44Speaker 4: new recording had come out something, So on every iHeart
- 18:48Speaker 4: station in America, all at once it got played at
- 18:51Speaker 4: eight thirty in the morning, and I think with that,
- 18:53Speaker 4: like sixty seventy million people heard it. But outside of that,
- 18:57Speaker 4: you can't reach that kind of an audience anymore. Let's
- 19:00Speaker 4: go to Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yes, Mike, it's funny you should play the Beatles because
- 19:07Speaker 1: I was going to reference them in my comments about
- 19:09Speaker 1: Mamdani and that being that he's one of those dorks
- 19:12Speaker 1: who comes up with the most obscure trivial nobody cares
- 19:16Speaker 1: about fact and states it and people he thinks people
- 19:21Speaker 1: are going to walk away and go that guy's a genius.
- 19:23Speaker 1: And I was going to the reference the Beatles reference
- 19:25Speaker 1: was going to be, it's like those people can meet
- 19:26Speaker 1: at a Beatles convention and they have to be the
- 19:29Speaker 1: star of the convention. Did you know Ingo had eight
- 19:32Speaker 1: toes on one foot.
- 19:33Speaker 10: You know, and one of those things like Okay, I
- 19:35Speaker 10: guess you're the king, And then.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Yeah, they do that with every artist. It's fanatics for
- 19:40Speaker 4: every artist. But that's a good point, yep, you're still there.
- 19:45Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yes, And so it shows you what a
- 19:47Speaker 10: lightweight Mandani really is, because you know, it's like that
- 19:51Speaker 10: that we you know about giving back the diamond that
- 19:53Speaker 10: the British soul from India. Please nobody cares, well, Indians
- 19:58Speaker 10: don't care.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Yeah, you know what happens is mont Downey's a very
- 20:01Speaker 4: highly educated IVY League went to the finest schools, the
- 20:04Speaker 4: finest Ivy League. And that's what happens when you go
- 20:06Speaker 4: to those things where you're one of those professors. You
- 20:09Speaker 4: know all kinds of useless knowledge about nothing that you
- 20:12Speaker 4: can't make a diamond in the real world. But they
- 20:15Speaker 4: spew it all the time, like they know about this
- 20:17Speaker 4: diamond from seventeen eighty two that nobody, I mean, they
- 20:21Speaker 4: just know all this stuff. Meantime, he becomes mayor of
- 20:24Speaker 4: New York. Has no clue how to run a city,
- 20:26Speaker 4: no clue how to build a grocery store. A grocery
- 20:28Speaker 4: store costs about as low as one million. Aldy spends
- 20:34Speaker 4: a lot of money when they come to New York.
- 20:35Speaker 4: They spend three million for each grocery store. He's spending
- 20:38Speaker 4: thirty million. It's now weeks later and he still hasn't
- 20:41Speaker 4: figured out it's like ten times more than supposed to cost.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Hasn't figured it out, doesn't know what to do about it.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Let's go to Canon Brooklyn Ken. How you doing okay, Mark?
- 20:52Speaker 11: To hear from Good to talk to you again. Mark,
- 20:54Speaker 11: I'm confused about this correspondence dinner attempt on the president.
- 20:58Speaker 12: Two things.
- 20:59Speaker 11: First, I'm watching this footage right now of this this
- 21:02Speaker 11: this guy run past like eight Secret Service agents. Not
- 21:07Speaker 11: only did they all freeze, but the one he was
- 21:09Speaker 11: closest to backed up and didn't proceed forward. It's the
- 21:15Speaker 11: weirdest thing. And then why I don't understand that when
- 21:18Speaker 11: they get all these the FBI director and the new
- 21:21Speaker 11: Attorney General, they're all like they're at the oscars congratulating everybody,
- 21:24Speaker 11: what a good job. I don't even get that.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Well, the problem is the setup outside. There's different divisions
- 21:31Speaker 4: of the Secret Service. That's the uniform division that runs
- 21:33Speaker 4: that outside. You're supposed to set up a zigzag. The
- 21:36Speaker 4: problem is they didn't do that. So it was a
- 21:39Speaker 4: straight line all the way down that corridor. But you're
- 21:42Speaker 4: supposed to. You know, when you go somewhere and you
- 21:44Speaker 4: have to turn this way, there's fences, and then when
- 21:46Speaker 4: you get there down you have to turn around and
- 21:47Speaker 4: go this way. Then you got to turn around and
- 21:50Speaker 4: go back this way, you keep turning around. It's a zigzag.
- 21:52Speaker 4: The reason they do that is so you can't get
- 21:55Speaker 4: up any speed, Like the road that leads to the
- 21:59Speaker 4: military base entrance is always a zigzag. If it were
- 22:02Speaker 4: a straight line, you could get up so much speed.
- 22:05Speaker 4: So that's the problem. They forgot to set up the
- 22:07Speaker 4: zigzag properly with the fencing, and it was just a
- 22:11Speaker 4: straight hallway. So the guy was able to get up
- 22:13Speaker 4: a lot of speed running. A lot of mistakes were
- 22:16Speaker 4: made there and that a big one. And had they've
- 22:19Speaker 4: had that zigzag, he wouldn't have been running. They would
- 22:21Speaker 4: have stopped him about fifty feet earlier. Well, when we
- 22:24Speaker 4: come back, the great economist Steve Moore will be with
- 22:28Speaker 4: us next lots to talk to him about coming up
- 22:30Speaker 4: on seven to ten wor.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Mark Simoor.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Well, Steve Moore, the great economists, the brilliant economist that
- 22:43Speaker 4: you should get his book, The Trump Economic Miracle. It
- 22:46Speaker 4: will really explain everything to The Trump Economic Miracle is
- 22:49Speaker 4: a wonderful book. And he runs the Committee to Unleashed
- 22:53Speaker 4: Prosperity and they put out the best daily news and analysis,
- 22:57Speaker 4: best briefing. It's free. It'll come write to your email.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Just go sign up for it. Go to Unleashed Prosperity
- 23:03Speaker 4: dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 23:09Speaker 12: Hey, Mark, I'm doing well.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 23:11Speaker 13: It's uh, you know, by the way, I was there
- 23:13Speaker 13: on Saturday night at the White House, correspondents are I'm
- 23:16Speaker 13: still sort of shaking from that security event.
- 23:18Speaker 4: Wow.
- 23:19Speaker 13: It was amazing and the President was really I mean
- 23:22Speaker 13: when I watched his press conference afterward, I couldn't believe,
- 23:25Speaker 13: you know, I was. I was so shaken by it.
- 23:27Speaker 13: And he was the one they were trying to shoot at,
- 23:28Speaker 13: and he got up there and at amazing. You know,
- 23:33Speaker 13: his composure and his courage under fire is really something
- 23:36Speaker 13: to be admired, whether whether you're a liberal conservative, but
- 23:39Speaker 13: no matter what your political philosophy, he's an amazing guy.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Yeah. One good thing about being an economist. You don't
- 23:45Speaker 4: get shot at a lot. It's not part of the g.
- 23:50Speaker 13: No, they're usually just verbal shout out.
- 23:53Speaker 4: When that chaos broke out, when did you realize that
- 23:57Speaker 4: there's not going to be any dinner, this is not
- 23:59Speaker 4: going to resume.
- 24:01Speaker 13: Well, first of all, the Mark there was it was
- 24:03Speaker 13: clearly a security breach.
- 24:04Speaker 4: You know, when I went, I've been to.
- 24:06Speaker 13: About six or seven of those White House Correspondence inners
- 24:08Speaker 13: over the year years. And you know there's two thy
- 24:12Speaker 13: five hundred people or.
- 24:12Speaker 4: So in that ballroom.
- 24:14Speaker 13: And when I went, I bought my I was a
- 24:17Speaker 13: ticket at a ticket. I was sitting with the Wall
- 24:18Speaker 13: Street Journal people, and I went in and I got
- 24:21Speaker 13: there an hour in advance, because I thought there would
- 24:23Speaker 13: be a long line, like you know, the the you know,
- 24:26Speaker 13: Laguardi security line at the airport or something. And I
- 24:30Speaker 13: walked in in five minutes and I just flashed my
- 24:32Speaker 13: They said, where's your ticket. I showed them the ticket.
- 24:34Speaker 13: They didn't even ask me for an ID. I could
- 24:36Speaker 13: have given that ticket to a hobo on the street
- 24:38Speaker 13: and they could have gotten in, which I thought was
- 24:40Speaker 13: really weird.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Uh.
- 24:42Speaker 13: And then you know that when I got into the ballroom,
- 24:47Speaker 13: you know, with these twenty five hundred other people, we
- 24:49Speaker 13: were probably about a hundred feet from where the President was,
- 24:52Speaker 13: you know he was. I was sort of surprised he came.
- 24:55Speaker 13: I thought he would maybe at the end of the
- 24:56Speaker 13: dinner come in and give his remarks. You know, is
- 24:59Speaker 13: because the humor speech and then lead well he was
- 25:02Speaker 13: sitting up there on the stage right in the middle.
- 25:05Speaker 13: I thought, oh my god, he's just sitting duck in
- 25:07Speaker 13: case anyone was able to get a you know, if
- 25:09Speaker 13: a sniper somehow got in there. And so I had
- 25:12Speaker 13: this weird premonition that this didn't seem that safe to me.
- 25:15Speaker 13: And then we had this boom boom, and everybody freaked out,
- 25:18Speaker 13: and you know, some people called beneath the tables, and
- 25:21Speaker 13: I crouched down. I was looking over the usband to
- 25:24Speaker 13: make sure he was safe. And right then, I mean,
- 25:26Speaker 13: the service here, servis were amazing. They got him out
- 25:28Speaker 13: of there in about twenty seconds. But did you see
- 25:32Speaker 13: the tape of him when they were pushing him out.
- 25:33Speaker 13: They have seen this that he stumbles, you know. I
- 25:37Speaker 13: think he tripped because they were trying to push him
- 25:38Speaker 13: out so fast, and I thought, oh my god, all
- 25:41Speaker 13: I saw was him stumble. I thought, oh my god,
- 25:42Speaker 13: he's been hit, you know. And so for about the
- 25:45Speaker 13: long was ten or fifteen minutes of my life, we
- 25:47Speaker 13: didn't know what was going on. We didn't know that
- 25:49Speaker 13: the president was safe. And then they finally told us,
- 25:51Speaker 13: you know, the president was safely escorted out of the building.
- 25:54Speaker 13: But you know it was people were pretty calm for
- 25:57Speaker 13: the most part. For the first five minutes. It was
- 25:59Speaker 13: pretty scary because you didn't know whether there was a
- 26:00Speaker 13: sniper with a rifle.
- 26:02Speaker 4: In there, so nobody asked you for any ID. Did
- 26:07Speaker 4: you get searched? Did they search everybody.
- 26:09Speaker 13: From well no, we did go through a metal detector
- 26:11Speaker 13: like at an airport.
- 26:12Speaker 4: But yeah, but you got to search people, well, you
- 26:14Speaker 4: could have had something on you.
- 26:17Speaker 13: They didn't do that. It was the other thing that
- 26:20Speaker 13: was really odd about it, Mark, was that you've probably
- 26:22Speaker 13: read about this because I was commenting about it. The
- 26:25Speaker 13: president was on the stage, the vice president was on
- 26:27Speaker 13: the stage. At the table next to me was the
- 26:28Speaker 13: Speaker of the House. There were four cabinet officers, five
- 26:31Speaker 13: of the six people in line of succession for the
- 26:33Speaker 13: presidency were in that room. It made no sense to me.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yeah, no, it's like they need State of the Union
- 26:38Speaker 4: level of security, that kind of security. But wow, well glad,
- 26:43Speaker 4: everybody's okay.
- 26:44Speaker 14: So this is, by the way, why Trump is right.
- 26:45Speaker 13: We got to build the ballroom which will be very
- 26:47Speaker 13: safe and secure, and Trump can view those kinds of events,
- 26:50Speaker 13: or the future presidents will be able to do those
- 26:52Speaker 13: kind of speeches in a safe environment. And incidentally, you know,
- 26:56Speaker 13: I know you probably want to talk about the economy,
- 26:58Speaker 13: but you know the significance of that Washington Hilton mark,
- 27:03Speaker 13: which was that's where in March of nineteen eighty one,
- 27:05Speaker 13: Ronald Reagan was shot. And I'll never forget that day either.
- 27:09Speaker 13: And I was a kid at the teenager at that time,
- 27:11Speaker 13: but you know, I walked right in the entrance of
- 27:15Speaker 13: that hotel where Reagan was walking out where he got
- 27:18Speaker 13: shot by Hinckley. So that's the second time now we've had,
- 27:23Speaker 13: you know, attempted assassination attempt.
- 27:25Speaker 4: In that hotel. Yeah, there's two assassination attempts. They got
- 27:27Speaker 4: to make sure that they never use that hotel again.
- 27:30Speaker 4: I mean, it's just ridiculous. Or just changed the name
- 27:33Speaker 4: the assassination Hilton. I mean, how many buildings have had
- 27:36Speaker 4: two assassinations take attempts to take the places? Just awful.
- 27:41Speaker 4: So now the king is still in Virginia. Did we
- 27:45Speaker 4: learn anything from this king's visit? Did do anybody any good?
- 27:50Speaker 13: Well, you know, first of all, I mean, this is
- 27:52Speaker 13: a king who is it is really heartbreaking to see
- 27:56Speaker 13: what has happened to the British umpire. I mean, what
- 27:59Speaker 13: was one the strongest nation in the world. They're basically
- 28:03Speaker 13: their economy is basically staggering right now, it's comatose. They've
- 28:09Speaker 13: had very little economic growth while our economy is exploded.
- 28:12Speaker 13: Over the last thirty years, we've beaten them in every
- 28:16Speaker 13: sphere of the economy, including the technology industry, and now
- 28:20Speaker 13: they've got to basically a socialist as their prime minister
- 28:23Speaker 13: in King Charles. All he seems to care about is
- 28:25Speaker 13: climate change.
- 28:28Speaker 4: He's the king. Yeah, so hey, oil prices spiked briefly
- 28:35Speaker 4: went up to one twenty six, it's down to one hundred.
- 28:40Speaker 4: This closing the Strait of Hormuse, it really doesn't hurt us.
- 28:43Speaker 4: We don't get any oil from there. It completely destroys
- 28:46Speaker 4: the RAN's economy. Why not just leave it closed for
- 28:48Speaker 4: a couple of months.
- 28:50Speaker 13: Well, you know, you're right that the two countries that
- 28:53Speaker 13: are most dependent on oil from the Middle East are
- 28:56Speaker 13: China and India, and we don't.
- 28:59Speaker 4: We didn't get very little.
- 29:00Speaker 13: Although you know that when that strait is closed is
- 29:02Speaker 13: we've learned it affects the entire global price of oil
- 29:05Speaker 13: because it's a global commodity like gold, is, but we
- 29:09Speaker 13: got to get it open. We got to get it
- 29:10Speaker 13: open quickly. And when we do, I don't know if
- 29:13Speaker 13: it's good. You know, I've been saying in a few weeks,
- 29:15Speaker 13: but who knows. At this point it's proven to be
- 29:17Speaker 13: a lot harder than we had thought. Then I think
- 29:20Speaker 13: we'll see, you know, gas prices migrate back down to
- 29:23Speaker 13: the you know, three to three twenty five a gallon,
- 29:27Speaker 13: and it has to happen because it's really hurting the economy.
- 29:29Speaker 13: We're seeing it migrate into other higher prices. So we
- 29:34Speaker 13: want to keep inflation down. We want affordability high, and
- 29:37Speaker 13: that's why we've got and infinitely mark on that. Thank god,
- 29:41Speaker 13: we have a president who's drill, baby, drill. I mean,
- 29:43Speaker 13: can you imagine if we had died in an office
- 29:46Speaker 13: and we weren't producing our own gas. I mean, we
- 29:48Speaker 13: would be paying nine dollars a gallon of gas. It's
- 29:52Speaker 13: and also, by the way, it is, it is a
- 29:54Speaker 13: pretty amazing thing that the UAE has now dropped out
- 29:58Speaker 13: of OPEC. I think it's Trump and the and the
- 30:03Speaker 13: shale oil and gas people who really who finally have
- 30:08Speaker 13: blown up OPACK.
- 30:10Speaker 4: So if we get rid of this happy day. Yeah,
- 30:12Speaker 4: we get rid of this terrorist regime in Iran, which
- 30:14Speaker 4: would be a dream come true, and we get rid
- 30:16Speaker 4: of Opak, what will the future look like price wise,
- 30:20Speaker 4: oil wise? That could be amazing.
- 30:22Speaker 13: Could you know, Look, there's so much oil and gas,
- 30:24Speaker 13: and I remember people used to worry about were running
- 30:26Speaker 13: out of oil and gas. We're not running out of it,
- 30:27Speaker 13: We're running into it. So you could see gas prices
- 30:30Speaker 13: go back well below three dollars a gallon. Uh, and
- 30:33Speaker 13: that would be a wonderful thing. And we're the world's
- 30:35Speaker 13: you know, leading producer today. So uh, this is this
- 30:39Speaker 13: is we got to use all the energy we have, oil, gas,
- 30:43Speaker 13: nuclear power, coal, maybe when when appropriate, soil and when
- 30:47Speaker 13: use it all so we're not no longer you know,
- 30:50Speaker 13: depending on them at least oil.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Yeah. Hey, Steve Moore, this fraud that we saw in Minnesota,
- 30:56Speaker 4: we've uncovered this fraud a couple of billion. Well it
- 30:59Speaker 4: looks now we're going to find hundreds of billions of
- 31:02Speaker 4: this kind of fraud all over America, all over government.
- 31:05Speaker 4: How did that get? Well that covered up?
- 31:07Speaker 13: So yeah, that's a great Yeah, that's a great point.
- 31:10Speaker 13: And the US General Accounting Office, which is the basically
- 31:14Speaker 13: the official auditor of all these trillions of dollars that
- 31:16Speaker 13: we spend in Washington. They just did a report yesterday
- 31:20Speaker 13: reporting and I think it was one hundred and eighty
- 31:22Speaker 13: five billion dollars in fraudulent payments. Now mark those are
- 31:26Speaker 13: only the fraudulent payments.
- 31:27Speaker 4: That they know about.
- 31:29Speaker 13: It's probably two or three times higher. People got away
- 31:31Speaker 13: with the fraudulent payments. So we have so much waste.
- 31:35Speaker 13: I believe that we could cut one trillion dollars out
- 31:38Speaker 13: of our budget if we got rid of fraud, duplication,
- 31:41Speaker 13: if we got rid of quote what they call quote
- 31:43Speaker 13: improper payments. Don't you love that improper payment? If you
- 31:47Speaker 13: got rid of all of that, we could balance this
- 31:49Speaker 13: damn budget.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, mom, Donnie's building his own grocery store.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Every major grocery company tells you it's about two million
- 31:58Speaker 4: to open a store. He's spending thirty. This is just
- 32:01Speaker 4: more fraud. Why we had to form a government agency
- 32:04Speaker 4: that can just swoop in and stop that for when
- 32:07Speaker 4: it happens.
- 32:08Speaker 13: Well, shame on you mouth. Don't you understand the war
- 32:11Speaker 13: of socialism, I mean, the idea, By the way, they've
- 32:16Speaker 13: tried this before folks. It was in Russia during the
- 32:20Speaker 13: Soviet Union, where you know, you could get anything you
- 32:22Speaker 13: wanted for a low price at at the grocery store.
- 32:24Speaker 13: But of course you had to wait for an hour
- 32:26Speaker 13: and a half to get into the store. And then
- 32:27Speaker 13: when you got the store there was nothing on the shelves.
- 32:29Speaker 13: But it was all really cheap.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Yeah, and I don't know, you saw the pictures. This
- 32:33Speaker 4: is one dumpy location in the middle of nowhere. Thirty
- 32:37Speaker 4: million to build this. Whole Food spends two million when
- 32:39Speaker 4: they build a new store.
- 32:41Speaker 13: Unbelievable.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Well well as Steve Moore, great stuff. Everybody gets Steve

- 33:38Speaker 4: White House Correspondent. And the plan was he would host
- 33:41Speaker 4: for three hours the coverage and then all hell broke lose. Well,
- 33:44Speaker 4: he'll be with us in the next hour. We'll talk
- 33:47Speaker 4: about it. But he's also here every night with a
- 33:49Speaker 4: great show at nine o'clock every night on seven to

- 33:53Speaker 10: Welcome back to the Mark Simone Show seven ten wry.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Remember l IV Golf, the Saudi Arabia Golf Well, you
- 34:04Speaker 4: know they tried to steal all of our top golfers.
- 34:07Speaker 4: They offered them a fortune. I mean, you could make
- 34:11Speaker 4: ten million as a top golfer in America, but they
- 34:13Speaker 4: offered me as one hundred million come play in the
- 34:16Speaker 4: l IV Saudi Arabia Golf League. Well, they got a
- 34:20Speaker 4: lot of big players. We've got a lot of big names,
- 34:23Speaker 4: and I wouldn't say it was flourishing, but it was.
- 34:26Speaker 4: It was there and it was doing well, and they
- 34:29Speaker 4: made deals. You know, they got the Trump Dral to
- 34:32Speaker 4: host one of the golf tournaments, and they brought you know,
- 34:35Speaker 4: this stuff to America, put in a lot of clubs. Well,
- 34:38Speaker 4: looks like it's just about over. The Saudis are pulling
- 34:40Speaker 4: their funding. They ended up spending six billion on this
- 34:43Speaker 4: stupid tour. They've lost already one point one billion in
- 34:50Speaker 4: a merger with the PGA, but six billion wasted. They're
- 34:53Speaker 4: giving up, they're pulling out. That's it for l IV Golf.
- 34:58Speaker 4: It was kind of a dumb idea. I mean, you know,
- 35:01Speaker 4: you think golf and you think of these golfers. A
- 35:03Speaker 4: lot of them are British, a lot of them are European.
- 35:05Speaker 4: But it's an American sport. I know it originally comes
- 35:08Speaker 4: from Scotland, but we kind of americanized it. It's different here.
- 35:14Speaker 4: It's a whole different it's a whole different sport here. Anyway,
- 35:17Speaker 4: we'll come back after the news. Jimmy Fayalo will be
- 35:19Speaker 4: with us in the next hour. He was there Saturday night.
- 35:23Speaker 4: We'll talk about that. We'll get to a whole lot
- 35:26Speaker 4: more coming up here on seven ten wor.
- 35:31Speaker 9: This is to the Mark Simon, shall I seventen wr.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Hey believe it or not. There's talk of bringing back
- 35:42Speaker 4: The Apprentice. Remember Donald Trump? The Apprentice. It started off
- 35:48Speaker 4: early two thousands, very early two thousands, and it became
- 35:53Speaker 4: a big hit and next thing you know, it ran
- 35:56Speaker 4: fourteen seasons. Fourteen seasons. It was for a long time
- 36:00Speaker 4: the number one highest rated show in television. It was
- 36:05Speaker 4: the great producer, Mark Burnett that came up with it.
- 36:07Speaker 4: He's the guy that came up with Survivor and that
- 36:10Speaker 4: kind of stuff. And he came up with Shark Tank,
- 36:15Speaker 4: which is done in Los Angeles, and he was on
- 36:20Speaker 4: this show and we asked him about The Apprentice and
- 36:21Speaker 4: he said, the way it came about was he had
- 36:25Speaker 4: to travel. You know, Survivor he had to leave his
- 36:27Speaker 4: family travel over all these crazy places, and then Shark
- 36:31Speaker 4: Tank had to travel out to LA He wanted a
- 36:33Speaker 4: show that would take place in New York City so
- 36:36Speaker 4: he didn't have to leave his family, so he could
- 36:37Speaker 4: be with his family. So he came up with this idea,
- 36:40Speaker 4: what's New York City. It's a lot of big corporations,
- 36:43Speaker 4: business executives, skyscrapers. So he decided to be a business show.
- 36:47Speaker 4: He came up with the whole concept, a top top
- 36:50Speaker 4: top business CEO. I would be looking for an apprentice
- 36:54Speaker 4: and they'd all have to audition for a business thing.
- 36:58Speaker 4: And I asked him, I said, well, and how'd you
- 37:01Speaker 4: come up with Donald Trump? He said, well, we came
- 37:02Speaker 4: up the whole concept, and then we said, who's the
- 37:05Speaker 4: most famous businessman in America? And was Donald Trump? So
- 37:09Speaker 4: he was the first choice and we couldn't believe it.
- 37:11Speaker 4: He said.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 37:12Speaker 4: Now that's an important little fact there, because you'll hear
- 37:16Speaker 4: all these left wing MSNBC types all or New York
- 37:20Speaker 4: Times always claimed that Trump was just a reality host.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Nobody knew him. It was the Apprentice. The apprentices and
- 37:27Speaker 4: what they keep making it sound like The Apprentice catapulted
- 37:31Speaker 4: him to know just the opposite. Again, said to Mark Burnett,
- 37:35Speaker 4: what made you think of Donald Trump? He said, well,
- 37:37Speaker 4: we're looking for a businessman. He was the most famous
- 37:40Speaker 4: businessman in America. So here's the point of all this.
- 37:43Speaker 4: There's talk, now, very serious talk of bringing back The Apprentice.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Now obviously President Trump can't do it, although knowing him,
- 37:52Speaker 4: he would do it if he asked me, he'd probably
- 37:54Speaker 4: want to do it, but he can't do it. The
- 37:57Speaker 4: President United States a little busy right now. So Don
- 38:02Speaker 4: Junior would be the businessman. It would be The Apprentice
- 38:05Speaker 4: with Donald Trump Junior. I can't rememorize it Netflix. I
- 38:08Speaker 4: think I think it's Amazon. It's Amazon. I think either
- 38:11Speaker 4: Netflix or Amazon, but I think it's Amazon that's in
- 38:14Speaker 4: talks to bring this back. They would probably do the
- 38:17Speaker 4: same exact show, do it at Trump Tower, same setup.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Although that conference room that you saw in The Apprentice
- 38:23Speaker 4: wasn't the real conference room. That was actually a TV set.
- 38:27Speaker 4: The real Trump conference room looks a lot different. It's
- 38:30Speaker 4: all windows. It's too tough to film in there. But
- 38:35Speaker 4: it would be Don Junior, it would be The Apprentice.
- 38:38Speaker 4: It would probably be a huge hit. And now, of
- 38:39Speaker 4: course it would drive the left absolutely nuts. Now, if
- 38:44Speaker 4: somebody owns The Apprentice, I guess it's NBC. If they
- 38:48Speaker 4: were smart, they would just put it on the air Primetime,
- 38:50Speaker 4: bring the Apprentice back, put it on now. Of course
- 38:53Speaker 4: they hate Trump so much they won't do that, but
- 38:55Speaker 4: put it on. It was a pretty good show. So
- 39:00Speaker 4: Pat Hexith is on the witness stand again. He's in
- 39:03Speaker 4: hearings congressional hearings and what they do. Democrats are great
- 39:07Speaker 4: at this. Republicans stink at hearings. They don't know what
- 39:09Speaker 4: to do. Your Republicans can hold one thousand hour hearing
- 39:13Speaker 4: and there's never one second of anything you want to
- 39:15Speaker 4: run Democrats anytime to hold the hearing any ten minutes.
- 39:19Speaker 4: There's explosive tax and vicious stuff that goes viral. But
- 39:24Speaker 4: they had Hexith testifying. Actually, of course they were yelling
- 39:27Speaker 4: and screaming and causing you to going after him for
- 39:29Speaker 4: every little thing.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Underground, they're buried and we will watch.
- 39:32Speaker 4: You four sep. And now he's trying to explain, how
- 39:36Speaker 4: do we get the nuclear material? What do you mean
- 39:37Speaker 4: you're going to go get the nuclear material? It's it's
- 39:41Speaker 4: buried underground. But he's trying to explain it. They're already
- 39:44Speaker 4: yelling at him.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Underground, they're buried, and we will watch you a four
- 39:47Speaker 3: step so we know where any nuclear material be.
- 39:50Speaker 15: Claiming my time for watching a second here. We had
- 39:54Speaker 15: to start this war, you just said sixty days ago
- 39:58Speaker 15: because the nuclear weapon was an imminent threat. Now you're
- 40:03Speaker 15: saying that it was completely obliterate.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Had not given up their nuclear ambitions, and they had
- 40:08Speaker 3: a conventional.
- 40:08Speaker 15: Shield of thousands of operation midnight and week com moment,
- 40:12Speaker 15: nothing of substance in the point place we were before.
- 40:18Speaker 4: It's possible that Democrat is actually that stupid. More likely
- 40:23Speaker 4: he's faking being that stupid. It's pretty simple to explain
- 40:26Speaker 4: when we did that take out the nuclear reactors. We
- 40:30Speaker 4: completely destroyed their nuclear reactors. That was it. It's gone.
- 40:33Speaker 4: But when you wipe out a nuclear reactor, you're going
- 40:36Speaker 4: to get some Trump calls it nuclear dust. It's some
- 40:39Speaker 4: nuclear waste that's underground. And they have also been trying
- 40:44Speaker 4: to acquire and put together some nuclear material separate from that,
- 40:50Speaker 4: and they always claim it's for commercial use power energy. Altho,
- 40:54Speaker 4: if you're an oil rich country, what do you need
- 40:56Speaker 4: nuclear energy? But when it's used for power energy commercial purposes,
- 41:01Speaker 4: the nuclear stuff is enriched to about twenty percent. When
- 41:05Speaker 4: it gets to ninety percent, it's a nuclear weapon. So apparently,
- 41:09Speaker 4: in the weeks before the war, we knew that Iraq
- 41:12Speaker 4: had enriched this stuff up to sixty percent, so it
- 41:16Speaker 4: was heading very close to weapons grade nuclear stuff. So
- 41:19Speaker 4: that's why we had to act when we did. Now,
- 41:21Speaker 4: it's not that complicated to figure out we took out.
- 41:23Speaker 4: They're huge nuclear stuff. We just complete. Now that's not
- 41:28Speaker 4: to say that there's not going to be some little
- 41:30Speaker 4: nuclear material somewhere. So the congressman just playing stupid, just
- 41:35Speaker 4: acting dumb, and they just kept going after a hecks.
- 41:38Speaker 3: The biggest challenge, the biggest adversary we face at this
- 41:42Speaker 3: point are the reckless, feckless, and defeatist words of congressional
- 41:48Speaker 3: Democrats and some Republicans two months in, I remind you,
- 41:53Speaker 3: two months in to a conflict.
- 41:56Speaker 4: Yeah, apparently it's one of the things that Iran is
- 42:01Speaker 4: counting on that the left, they saw this in Vietnam.
- 42:03Speaker 4: The left, the Democrats will rise up and break down
- 42:07Speaker 4: the morale and nobody will be for the war and
- 42:09Speaker 4: we'll give up. That's what they're counting on. Now. It's
- 42:11Speaker 4: cost us I think about twenty five billion so far,
- 42:14Speaker 4: and they're yelling at them about the cost.
- 42:16Speaker 3: The one point five trillion dollar f Y twenty seven
- 42:19Speaker 3: budget put forward by the President. We'll build upon the
- 42:22Speaker 3: historic one trillion dollar FY twenty six top line and
- 42:27Speaker 3: continue to reverse the four years of under investment and
- 42:31Speaker 3: mismanagement of the Biden administration.
- 42:33Speaker 4: Yeah, now, let's say cost twenty five billion, it's worth it.
- 42:36Speaker 4: I mean, our dream was to get rid of this
- 42:39Speaker 4: terrorist regime, the most evil regime in the world, the
- 42:43Speaker 4: most evil terrorist sponsor in the world, looking for nuclear weapons.
- 42:49Speaker 4: If you could do that for twenty five million, Hey,
- 42:51Speaker 4: it was five billion, Obama would send it over on
- 42:54Speaker 4: a pallet. But if it's twenty five billion. Also you're
- 42:57Speaker 4: talking about, you know, killing their new clear program. You're
- 43:01Speaker 4: really talking about stopping the next nine to eleven or
- 43:05Speaker 4: if it's nuclear, something far worse than nine to eleven,
- 43:07Speaker 4: that's certainly worth twenty five billion if we could stop
- 43:10Speaker 4: If we could have stopped nine to eleven for twenty
- 43:12Speaker 4: five billion, we certainly would have paid it. Now, of
- 43:14Speaker 4: the course, it's Democrats are going to yell it's a quagmire,
- 43:17Speaker 4: we're stuck. Shame on you for that statement.
- 43:19Speaker 3: And statements like that are reckless to our troops. Don't
- 43:21Speaker 3: say I support the troops on one hand, and then
- 43:23Speaker 3: a two month mission is a quagmire.
- 43:25Speaker 2: That's a false equivalation.
- 43:27Speaker 3: Who you cheering for here, who you're pulling for. Our
- 43:30Speaker 3: troops are doing incredible work, They've done incredible things for
- 43:33Speaker 3: the entirety of this mission and achieved incredible battlefield successes,
- 43:37Speaker 3: and you sit there and go on TV for your
- 43:40Speaker 3: clickbait about quagmires.
- 43:43Speaker 4: It is kind of funny because a quagmire that started
- 43:45Speaker 4: in Vietnam where the war began in sixty three, sixty two,
- 43:50Speaker 4: early sixties, and then ten years were there, ten years
- 43:55Speaker 4: and more eleven years, that's a quagmar. This is a
- 43:58Speaker 4: couple of weeks, weeks, it's not even two months yet,
- 44:02Speaker 4: a quagmar. Absolutely ridiculous. Now, of course they're going to
- 44:06Speaker 4: go after Hexit. He's not competent.
- 44:07Speaker 3: And you want to ask that question after you and
- 44:09Speaker 3: your fellow Democrats defended Joe Biden who could barely speak
- 44:12Speaker 3: and this.
- 44:15Speaker 4: Auto pen.
- 44:15Speaker 3: We've got a secretary of Defense who went a wall
- 44:17Speaker 3: for a week.
- 44:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I remember that Biden had that awful Defense secretary,
- 44:23Speaker 4: Lloyd Austin, who vanished a couple of times. Nobody knew
- 44:26Speaker 4: where he was. He just went a wall for a
- 44:27Speaker 4: few weeks. Now, you could look at Hexadon than. I
- 44:30Speaker 4: don't know, he doesn't look like a top guy. He
- 44:33Speaker 4: looks kind of goofy he looks, and the way he talks,
- 44:36Speaker 4: he's a little good. You could do all that. But
- 44:40Speaker 4: under his watch he has pulled off like nineteen of
- 44:44Speaker 4: the most unbelievable greatest military operations in history, from taking
- 44:49Speaker 4: out those nuclear sites in I Ran, to the Maduro raid,
- 44:54Speaker 4: I mean, go on and on to the opening day
- 44:56Speaker 4: of the war when they killed the entire leadership of
- 45:00Speaker 4: Iran in one shot. I mean, under his leadership, I
- 45:05Speaker 4: don't know. It looks like he knows what it doing.
- 45:07Speaker 4: Doesn't look like in the meantime, he's Aaron Judge. He's
- 45:09Speaker 4: like setting records for home runs. He's just hitting grand
- 45:12Speaker 4: slams left and right militarily. Hey, this crazy mom, Donnie.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Now he's like a goofy college kid. He went to
- 45:21Speaker 4: one of these Ivy League and doctrination colleges where you
- 45:24Speaker 4: come out of crazy socialist And you know, if you
- 45:27Speaker 4: try to explain to them, like you know, socialism has
- 45:29Speaker 4: been tried fourteen thousand times in every country in the world,
- 45:33Speaker 4: it never works. They don't want to hear that. They
- 45:35Speaker 4: don't care about that. They don't care if it works.
- 45:37Speaker 4: It's it's just the idea of it. I love the
- 45:39Speaker 4: idea of it. Now, the grocery store thing is insane.
- 45:44Speaker 4: You talk to every major grocery store company. It costs
- 45:47Speaker 4: one million to three million to open a grocery store.
- 45:50Speaker 4: Let's say it's two million he's opening. It's not even
- 45:53Speaker 4: a real grocery store. It's just a little dump of
- 45:55Speaker 4: a room in this dumpy place up in Harlem. He's
- 45:59Speaker 4: talking about thirty mills million for this. The Whole Foods
- 46:03Speaker 4: in a Time Warner Center right over there, that's massive,
- 46:06Speaker 4: did not cost thirty million. The Wegmans that's coming to
- 46:11Speaker 4: the Upper West Side, this is not costing thirty million.
- 46:13Speaker 4: This little hole in the wall dump thirty millions. Total
- 46:17Speaker 4: waste of money. So we got three three and a
- 46:22Speaker 4: half more years of the sky. It's going to be
- 46:24Speaker 4: one incredibly stupid thing after another. His latest one now
- 46:28Speaker 4: is Park Avenue. Picture Park Avenue from fifty seventh Street
- 46:34Speaker 4: all the way down to forty sixth Street. Fifty seventh Street,
- 46:37Speaker 4: as you head towards forty six that's the met Life
- 46:39Speaker 4: building used to be the pan Am building. That's Park Avenue.
- 46:43Speaker 4: It's all skyscrapers, it's all business. There's the JP Morgan building,
- 46:48Speaker 4: there's the Mutual America Building. It's all these skyscrapers. Lever Building,
- 46:55Speaker 4: there's the Brafman building. On the other side there's the
- 46:59Speaker 4: Route building. It's just a sketch. It's all business. It's
- 47:02Speaker 4: a business district, nothing else. And in the middle of
- 47:05Speaker 4: Park Avenue, it's very wide Park Avenue. They call it
- 47:08Speaker 4: Park Avenue because in the middle is a median that
- 47:11Speaker 4: has some grass and some flowers and some trees. It's
- 47:14Speaker 4: very beautiful. So Mamdani now wants to take Park Avenue
- 47:18Speaker 4: and completely chop it up, expand the median so it's
- 47:22Speaker 4: bigger than the roads. Right now, you've got about two
- 47:26Speaker 4: three lanes on each side of Park Avenue. He wants
- 47:28Speaker 4: to cut that down to one lane each way and
- 47:32Speaker 4: have an enormous park in the middle of each block.
- 47:38Speaker 4: And he said this will be good because people can stroll,
- 47:40Speaker 4: they can sit in the park, they can have coffee there.
- 47:47Speaker 4: I mean, this is so incredibly stupid. About three blocks
- 47:52Speaker 4: away is Central Park, one of the most spectacular parks
- 47:55Speaker 4: in the world. If you want to go be in
- 47:57Speaker 4: a park, go over there. Who the hell wants to
- 47:59Speaker 4: sit in the middle of Park Avenue a little Patrick
- 48:04Speaker 4: grass having their coffee. Now, first of all, he's gonna
- 48:06Speaker 4: cut each side down to one lane each way, so
- 48:09Speaker 4: it's going to be total gridlock. You're gonna hear horns
- 48:12Speaker 4: honking all the time. This is not the park you
- 48:15Speaker 4: want to be sitting in. It makes absolutely no sense.
- 48:18Speaker 4: It's going to cost a fortune. If it's one hundred
- 48:21Speaker 4: million dollar project, he'll spend five hundred million. But it's
- 48:26Speaker 4: just absolutely crazy, insane, total waste of money. We have
- 48:32Speaker 4: to set up before Trump leaves. He's gonna have to
- 48:35Speaker 4: set up some kind of government agency, some federal task
- 48:39Speaker 4: force that if you're overpaying like crazy for something, if
- 48:42Speaker 4: you're wasting zillions of dollars of tax payer money, they
- 48:45Speaker 4: can step in and stop the project right there. So
- 48:49Speaker 4: we'll see you use that.
- 48:52Speaker 13: You know.
- 48:52Speaker 4: It's all started when we found that learning center in
- 48:54Speaker 4: Minnesota with its misspelled it says leering center that was
- 48:58Speaker 4: like nineteen billion and fraud stolen money by the way.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Some reporters went to check it out. Apparently it's totally abandoned.
- 49:06Speaker 4: The FBI did a massive raid for the fraud. It's
- 49:09Speaker 4: been totally abandoned. Some reporters found some people in the neighborhood.
- 49:15Speaker 4: There was a night watchman somewhere. It's been there for
- 49:18Speaker 4: many years. He said he has never ever, ever, once
- 49:21Speaker 4: ever seen any kid come and go out of that
- 49:24Speaker 4: learning center. Not a single child ever. Oh there you go.
- 49:31Speaker 4: And Vice President Vance also he's running a task force
- 49:34Speaker 4: to go look at that stuff in Minnesota. And apparently
- 49:37Speaker 4: Tim Waltz in some speeches sort of trying to take
- 49:40Speaker 4: credit for uncovering this, when actually Vance pointing out it
- 49:45Speaker 4: was not Waltz, it was the report of that uncovered.
- 49:48Speaker 4: It's the federal government doing the crackdown, and Waltz has
- 49:52Speaker 4: been of absolutely no help at all on it. All right,
- 49:55Speaker 4: you didn't get invited to the state dinner for Prince
- 49:59Speaker 4: or King Charles King Charles State dinner white tie and tails.
- 50:03Speaker 4: It looked quite amazing, white tie in tails, the gold
- 50:07Speaker 4: plate settings, the gold silverware, the gold trim, the plates
- 50:12Speaker 4: were absolutely magnificent. What did you miss? What would you
- 50:15Speaker 4: have eaten? Here's the menu? Now, knowing Donald Trump, I
- 50:19Speaker 4: don't think he ate one thing here. He must have
- 50:21Speaker 4: had some cheeseburg or something hidden under the table, because
- 50:24Speaker 4: the menu started with a garden vegetable relute, which is
- 50:31Speaker 4: it says, a silken and aromatic soup. And again knowing
- 50:35Speaker 4: Donald Trump, I don't think he's looking for a silken
- 50:37Speaker 4: aromatic soup, hearts of palm salad with toasted shallots or
- 50:42Speaker 4: shalots as they say in England, and micro mint. Then
- 50:48Speaker 4: the second course was made with fresh herbs grown in
- 50:51Speaker 4: the White House Garden. You know, go to a real
- 50:55Speaker 4: gourmet market, you get better fresh herbs. White House garden
- 50:59Speaker 4: I don't grow the best fresh rubs. But it was
- 51:01Speaker 4: a ravioli with ricotta and morel mushrooms. Okay, that's passable.
- 51:06Speaker 4: Third course dover soul moniere with spring ramps, snow peas,
- 51:13Speaker 4: pave potatoes, and parsley oil. Again, I guarantee you Donald
- 51:17Speaker 4: Trump had a cheeseburger or a club sandwich hidden under
- 51:20Speaker 4: the table. Dessert was a beehive shaped chocolate gatteau filled
- 51:26Speaker 4: with vanilla bean crimw whatever the hell that is, an
- 51:30Speaker 4: almond sponge, along with crim fresh ice cream and White
- 51:36Speaker 4: House honey. I guarantee you Donald Trump had a cheeseburger
- 51:39Speaker 4: and a big slice of chocolate cake hidden under the
- 51:42Speaker 4: table and was actually eating that. Anyway, We'll take some calls.

- 52:13Speaker 4: to two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 52:15Speaker 4: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Let's go to
- 52:20Speaker 4: Maria in Terrytown. Maria, how you doing him?
- 52:23Speaker 2: Mark?
- 52:24Speaker 16: Can I ask if it's true that Nick Shirley discovered
- 52:28Speaker 16: that with these new free grocery stores that Eli Mohammed Mundani,
- 52:36Speaker 16: his brother is buying up these old buildings and then
- 52:40Speaker 16: his cousin Rufus is doing the construction and then building
- 52:44Speaker 16: the American public for all these remodelization as they are calling.
- 52:50Speaker 4: I wouldn't be surprised. H Mamdammi is a Muslim, right, Yep,
- 52:56Speaker 4: you don't usually find a Muslim named Rufus. Unusual name.
- 53:00Speaker 4: But we'll look into it. Nick Shirley's done a great job. Yeah,
- 53:05Speaker 4: something's it costs about two million to build a grocery store.
- 53:09Speaker 4: He's spending thirty million on this little dumpy one. And again,
- 53:14Speaker 4: nobody could actually be that stupid, So she's probably right.
- 53:17Speaker 4: We'll look into this. It has to be some fraud
- 53:20Speaker 4: going on. That's one of the key factors of the
- 53:22Speaker 4: socialists when they take power. There's always a lot of
- 53:25Speaker 4: fraud going on. Let's go to Rich in Fair Lawn,
- 53:28Speaker 4: New Jersey. Rich how you doing.
- 53:30Speaker 9: I'm doing fine, Mark, thank you for taking my coral.
- 53:34Speaker 9: I'm just curious to know what happened to all the
- 53:36Speaker 9: food that was prepared for all the two thousand, five
- 53:40Speaker 9: hundred guests. I'm quite certain there was a lot of stuff.
- 53:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a it's a well, it's a big loss
- 53:49Speaker 4: because you pay for the ballroom by the person. I
- 53:53Speaker 4: would guess that affair, you're probably paying five six hundred
- 53:57Speaker 4: of person. So at times too, that's five six hundred thousand.
- 54:01Speaker 4: And I don't know what happens to the money. Do
- 54:03Speaker 4: they get a do over? Do they have to pay
- 54:05Speaker 4: the money again? The hotel can not refund the money.
- 54:09Speaker 4: Say hey, we provided everything, the food, the service. But
- 54:12Speaker 4: it's a good point. Yeah, all that food was lost.
- 54:14Speaker 4: Now there is video you can see it on my
- 54:17Speaker 4: Twitter one media figure running around stealing the champagne bottles.
- 54:21Speaker 4: There was a guy who you know, the food was there.
- 54:25Speaker 4: He kept eating despite everything else. He just sat there
- 54:28Speaker 4: eating his salad. Turned out he was a cold blooded
- 54:31Speaker 4: agent from Hollywood eating that food. Yeah, I mean it
- 54:36Speaker 4: happens a lot. You know, when you go to any
- 54:38Speaker 4: big ballroom, hotel, affair, there's always a bunch of people
- 54:42Speaker 4: that eat the steak. Some people didn't eat their desserts,
- 54:45Speaker 4: and there's a lot of people, guess employees afterwards just
- 54:50Speaker 4: run around and take it all and eat it. Let's
- 54:52Speaker 4: go to Richard and Bayshore. Richard, how you doing.
- 54:55Speaker 12: I'm doing well.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Mark.
- 54:57Speaker 12: Listen, don't forget that the trains to Grand Central on
- 55:00Speaker 12: the Park Avenue. Yeah, it's not just uh, you have
- 55:03Speaker 12: to consider ventilation, escape, fire water, what kinds of things
- 55:07Speaker 12: that you wouldn't with normal construction.
- 55:09Speaker 4: Good point. It's this dumb mom Donnie plan to turn
- 55:13Speaker 4: Park Avenue the middle the median, expand it and make
- 55:17Speaker 4: big parks in each block. You're right, the trains are
- 55:20Speaker 4: running under there. You could be he said, you could
- 55:22Speaker 4: lie there in the park. Meantime it'll be shaking and
- 55:24Speaker 4: rumbling from the trains going by, and you got to
- 55:26Speaker 4: have those ventilation things in there. Let's go to John
- 55:30Speaker 4: and Norwalk. John. How you doing.
- 55:32Speaker 2: I'm good?
- 55:33Speaker 12: Mark, How are you good?
- 55:36Speaker 17: Mark, I'd like to talk about Laura Trump for a second. Yeah,
- 55:41Speaker 17: when President Trump was running for president and Laura was
- 55:45Speaker 17: in charge where she was the co chair I guess
- 55:47Speaker 17: of the RNC.
- 55:48Speaker 12: Yeah, she did a terrific job.
- 55:51Speaker 4: She was great. I'm sorry, goodhead, No, it's just Agreen.
- 55:55Speaker 4: She did a great job that Republican Party RNC was
- 55:58Speaker 4: a mess. She turned it around, fixed it up. Probably
- 56:00Speaker 4: wouldn't have won without.
- 56:01Speaker 17: Her, absolutely, And that's why I'm That's why I'm I'm calling,
- 56:06Speaker 17: and I'd like to know why the Republicans don't have
- 56:10Speaker 17: somebody like Laura or Laura herself to get back in there,
- 56:14Speaker 17: because we're really or we could be in a bit
- 56:17Speaker 17: of a bit of trouble.
- 56:18Speaker 4: We're not in that much trouble. I think that they're
- 56:22Speaker 4: pretty happy with the people running and they're doing pretty well.
- 56:24Speaker 4: You know. Right now, the RNC has raised about one
- 56:26Speaker 4: hundred and ten million. The DNC has raised about seventeen million,
- 56:31Speaker 4: So that's one of the main jobs of the party
- 56:33Speaker 4: to raise the money. RNC has raised about one hundred
- 56:36Speaker 4: and ten million, DNC seventeen million. Usually it's the other
- 56:40Speaker 4: way around. So things are going pretty well there. Let's
- 56:42Speaker 4: go to Vincent and Brooklyn Vincent. How you doing.
- 56:46Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Mara. I'm okay, Mark. Speaking
- 56:49Speaker 6: of that dinner, what dover sold? That was probably found
- 56:52Speaker 6: from the Great South Bay or from the Chesapeake Bay, right, Rich, Mark.
- 56:58Speaker 6: Most people don't know that the city can't buy insurance
- 57:02Speaker 6: as in this case, that they're going to have to
- 57:05Speaker 6: pay out with this wrongful arrest. The city just pays out.
- 57:08Speaker 6: There's no insurance on the writer that will on the
- 57:12Speaker 6: rite the city because the previous would be astronomical. Mark,
- 57:17Speaker 6: speaking about that case, what makes that guy's case doublely
- 57:23Speaker 6: credible when you actually when it was going down and
- 57:28Speaker 6: the person in the liquor store was so many it
- 57:30Speaker 6: you hear the cop in the background as he's holding
- 57:33Speaker 6: the guy down saying, call a bus, call a bus.
- 57:37Speaker 6: The guy's bleeding out. The guy's bleeding out. And the
- 57:40Speaker 6: next day the first images they show he has a
- 57:44Speaker 6: cut across the bottom of his leg, and just judging
- 57:50Speaker 6: looking at it, I'd say he had an easy ten
- 57:55Speaker 6: stitches there.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Mark.
- 57:57Speaker 6: I also believe with this the CIA, there's a cover
- 58:01Speaker 6: up going on there because last night Todd Blanche gets
- 58:05Speaker 6: on the media and says, oh, we still don't know
- 58:09Speaker 6: if that was friendly fire that hit the Secret Service
- 58:14Speaker 6: agent's vest.
- 58:15Speaker 4: Or yeah, something's going on.
- 58:19Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 58:19Speaker 4: I mean, it would take one second just to pull
- 58:22Speaker 4: the bullet out of the vest and see what gun
- 58:24Speaker 4: it came from. Keeping that quiet, they're claiming they don't
- 58:26Speaker 4: know yet. So hey, when we come back, Jimmy Fayla
- 58:30Speaker 4: will be with us. He was there covering the whole thing.
- 58:32Speaker 4: We'll talk to him next on seven to ten WR.
- 58:36Speaker 5: Mister New York marks him upon seven ten WR.
- 58:41Speaker 4: Well, Jimmy Fayla. He does a great show right here
- 58:44Speaker 4: on WR every night nine to midnight's very funny, very interesting.
- 58:49Speaker 4: You should be listening every weeknight nine to midnight on WOR.
- 58:53Speaker 4: And then on Saturday nights he does the best late
- 58:56Speaker 4: night show in television, the best monologue in television. It'sday
- 59:00Speaker 4: nights at ten. It's on the Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla,
- 59:04Speaker 4: how you doing well?
- 59:06Speaker 2: I just want to clarify for your listeners that sometimes
- 59:09Speaker 2: I do a show on Saturday night and sometimes they
- 59:11Speaker 2: shoot up the correspondence. Dinner doesn't always go off as plans.
- 59:15Speaker 4: All right, So now you went down there because you
- 59:17Speaker 4: told us last week. You were going to do a
- 59:18Speaker 4: three hour special coverage of the dinner. You were going
- 59:21Speaker 4: to pre prepare film all kinds of things to use.
- 59:24Speaker 4: What happens, all that stuff you had scheduled to go.
- 59:28Speaker 2: You will find out tomorrow, oh, halfway through the show,
- 59:31Speaker 2: because we're going to wind up airing most of it.
- 59:33Speaker 2: You know, I went. If you remember I was talking
- 59:35Speaker 2: to you last Thursday, I was on my way to
- 59:37Speaker 2: the White House. Yeah, and I went down.
- 59:38Speaker 14: I hung out with the President.
- 59:42Speaker 4: If you remember, you said, Oh, I don't think i'll
- 59:44Speaker 4: see him. I said, he'll know you're in the building.
- 59:46Speaker 4: He'll get you in the Oval Office.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Now, there's also there's also the small matter no stre
- 59:52Speaker 2: damas that I might have been playing possum. Let's not
- 59:55Speaker 2: forget that evil Okay, didn't like see me on the
- 59:59Speaker 2: low and be like fail is here. But he was.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: To be clear, he was probably one of the top
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: two funniest people I've ever met. I don't know who
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: the first person would be, but I was alone with
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: the President for about twenty minutes in the Oval Office
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: just talking about comedy. It is really surreal, and he
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: knows like my family by name. He was like, your
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: son's really good looking kid. What's his name?
- 1:00:21Speaker 14: Lincoln? I said, yeah, And it.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Was so surreal that we were talking about Lincoln while
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: he was sitting at Lincoln's desk.
- 1:00:27Speaker 14: He was at Abe Lincoln, you know, behind the Resolute Death.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: And I said it was crazy because you know, I
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: only went to the White House to get my cocaine
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: out of the lockers, and there I am talking to
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: the President.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: Well, he's a big fan of yours, telling you it's
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: the best late night show on television Saturday nights at ten.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: President Trump never misses it. So, and what do you
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: think of the office? He's added a lot of a
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: decorp to those walls, kind of crowded.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: In all honesty, He's probably the only one who went
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: down to Graceland and didn't think Elvis had a lot
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: of gold on the walls. It's so bizarre how just
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: how much is there. It almost looks like a high
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: end cracker barrel. Like it's obviously holds more significance because
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: it's the Constitution as presidential bus in Winston Churchill and
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: all that stuff, But he is really, like, I mean,
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: accounting for every inch of that wall. But it looks
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: good like, it's tastefully spaced out.
- 1:01:24Speaker 14: It's well hung, so it's nice, but it's busy. There's
- 1:01:28Speaker 14: a lot happening.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: I was trying to take it all in in all honesty.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: I couldn't.
- 1:01:31Speaker 14: I need to go back.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: Yeah, so this Saturday night, you're back to ten o'clock,
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: and what will you show all that footage you shot
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: at the White House. There's a lot of good stuff.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: There, a good amount of White House stuff, But what
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: we're really going to show a lot of is the
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: actual dinner because I was filming on the red carpet
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: with everybody in the cabinet, a lot of White House members,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: a lot of TV stars. I mean I had Brian
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Stelter on for five minutes. Yeah, and we're going to show.
- 1:01:58Speaker 12: That Brian stelter' the CNN.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: And it wound up being a much better hang than
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: you think, because like when I do those interviews, these
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: people get pretty comfortable because I'm not trying to like
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: ruin them and make them look bad. It was a
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: friendly hang. So he was a good sport. We asked him,
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: you know who he wanted to carpool with if he
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: had to carpool with one Fox star? He said Greg Gottfeld,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: and then I had to explain to him that he'd
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: have to drive every day because Gottfeld can't reach the pedals.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: But you know that's so yeah, there's CNN MS now,
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: you know, off the air in real life they are
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: actually nice, pleasant people. They just become maniacs when they
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: go on television.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: So yeah, some of them are off the air nice.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I don't know, like I've never been at a party
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: and been like, man, I can't wait till Joe Scarborough
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: gets here. He's nice enough. Yeah, he's nice enough, But
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: like you know, there's some of them that can that
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: get it, that'll come on and play nice.
- 1:02:50Speaker 14: Like to give you an example, last time I did.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: The Correspondence Dinner, I had Lester Wholt, Savannah Guthrie, Al
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Roger and they were fun.
- 1:02:57Speaker 14: And this time around we didn't see as many those types,
- 1:03:00Speaker 14: but we.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Saw like Triumph, the insuld comic dog was there, so
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: he came on, and you know, Stelter and a lot,
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: I mean, the entire presidential candidate cabinet anyway, is on
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: my show this Saturday. It'll be pretty neat.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: Hey tell us about the end of the dinner. I
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: know they got the president everybody out of there. But
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: then how did did a lot of people stay? Did
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: they sit down, did they finish eating? Where did it?
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Accidently?
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: What happened?
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Yeah, So they initially thought the president was going to
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: come back out, because that's what he told, you know,
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: he said he wanted to come back out, and so
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: they made an announcement in the room that the President
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: was going to come back out, and then the Secret
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Service made a second announcement.
- 1:03:38Speaker 14: In whatever room the President was in that that wasn't.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: An option, so he headed back to the White House.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: They declared that the dinner was over, at which point
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: everybody went and absconded as much wine and champagne as
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: they possibly could, which I again I also understand. I mean,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: these people were probably all eight drinks into their evening,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: shooting breaks out, and now what are you gonna do?
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Just let him dump all that wine, waste all that wine.
- 1:04:04Speaker 14: So I wasn't as like, you know, people on.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: The internet are like, oh, look at all these people
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: taking home the booze. But you understand, like the bars
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: weren't open because they needed to get people out of
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: the hotel. So it's kind of the funniest thing to
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: explain to you is that that dinner ended with people
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: in ball gowns and real glam makeup chugging champagne in
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: the middle of Connecticut Avenue inside the Hilton.
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: It was so bizarre, And how does that work? Fifteen
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: hundred people all come out at once and want their
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: car from the VLA.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Yeah, there was no chance of that. They were just
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: on the street. You want to know, a real thing.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: To a block from the hotel is a place called
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: DC Platinum, and apparently that's some type of an adult establishment. Well,
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: it was cold enough and drizzly enough that a lot
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: of women, like real high end looking women went in
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: there just because they wanted to get out of the
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: fricking elements. So they had their classiest looking crowd of
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: all time in the DC Platinum Club after that dinner.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: Well, hey, the king was here for a couple of days.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Were you impressed with the king?
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: You know what, I thought he would have dressed He's
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: a king. I thought he would have dressed up. I
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: thought we would have got maybe a crown, maybe the
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: fur cape. He kind of gave us the zelenski he
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: showed up. I mean he's in a suit, which for
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: the King is a suit. It's not a big deal.
- 1:05:23Speaker 14: It's like Zolensky's showing up.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: In his tracksuit, you know.
- 1:05:26Speaker 14: So I was a little.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Bummed that we didn't get full king regalia. You know,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: I was raised Catholic. If the pope shows up, he
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: don't show up in a suit. He gives you the
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: pope outfit, you know, and you go, wow, that's the Pope.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: So the fact that the King didn't give us full
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: king I almost felt a little slighted as the country. So,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: I mean, you know, he got a lot of wise
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: cracks in the Oval office, So I don't.
- 1:05:45Speaker 14: We might have to give the Brits a wedgie or something.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: I don't know. Well, as Trump says, always says, doesn't
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: that guy own a dark suit? You think he'd wear
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: like a dark blue suit instead that light blue thing.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: But don't. Yeah, and that speech, you know, when you talk,
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: when you speak like him in that voice, everything sounds brilliant,
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: But if you analyze it, there really wasn't. I mean,
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: if anybody else gave that speech, nobody would would have
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: thought much of it. So uh, not at all.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: You're right about that. He has like that timber because
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: of his voice and the nobility of the crown, and
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: so you know, he makes a couple of throwaway jokes
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: and you go, haha, you know, but that is you know,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: sometimes it isn't what you say, it's how you say it.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: And like when he told Meggan and Harry to get
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: the hell out of my life. You know, you say it,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: they listen and they're gone. I like that.
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: Jimmy Failo a lot has his wife on the show.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: That she looks great, She's got a lot of personality,
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: got a lot of energy, she's fun. Let's say you
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: were married to Camilla, would you have her on the show?
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: She doesn't look like a lot of laughs.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Does she? Yeah, listen, I don't you know, I don't
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: know that Camilla is a cut up. You know what
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: I'm saying. One thing about Jenny is you can make
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: fun of her and it doesn't look mean because she's
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: so much better looking than I am. So it's kind
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: of it looks like I'm punching up, you know. Whereas Camilla,
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: you know, she has more of like she's more of
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: a roadie her vibe and yeah, I don't know that
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: she could roll with it. I mean, in an ideal world.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: She could, but I doubt it. I mean, and again,
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: I don't see the King coming on anytime either to
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: his credit.
