  Loneliness. Yeah, that's a tough one. Loneliness and God's presence.

  It's something that so many of us experience, but not many of us talk about it.

  You can be surrounded by people sitting in a crowded room and still feel alone.

  And in those moments, it's easy to wonder, does anyone see me?

  Does anyone care? Today's message is about this truth.

  Even when you feel alone, you're never truly alone.

  Have Faith, Let It Begin starts right now.

  2000 came and the spark was lit. The testimony raw, it wouldn't quit.

  It's mother's voice, a guiding thread.

  The angels are with you, she gently said.

  And as I stated in the introduction, when you think about loneliness,
• 1:24
  You think about the days that you still felt alone And in those moments,
• 1:30
  it was easy to wonder Does anyone see me? Does anyone care?

  So today's message is about the truth And it's this truth Even when you feel
• 1:39
  alone, you're never truly alone.

  There was a season in my life when loneliness hit me hard.
• 1:47
  On the outside, things looked fine. I was busy. I had responsibilities.

  I was around people every day, but inside I felt empty, like no one really understood
• 1:59
  what I was going through.

  I'll never forget one particular night, I sat in my car after a long day,
• 2:05
  and in the silence, I felt defeated.
• 2:10
  I whispered a simple prayer.
• 2:12
  God, if you're here, I need to know it.
• 2:15
  And in the stillness, I didn't hear a booming voice or see a sign in the sky,
• 2:21
  but I felt peace wash over me. It was quiet.

  It was gentle. But it was real.
• 2:28
  That moment reminded me that God's presence doesn't always shout.
• 2:34
  It often whispers. So here we are.
• 2:37
  I'm looking for scripture, and I found Deuteronomy. chapter 31, verse 6.
• 2:42
  It says, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them.
• 2:48
  For the Lord, your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsaken you.

  That verse isn't just nice words. It's a promise.
• 2:59
  God will never leave you. When friends walk away, when life feels empty,
• 3:04
  when loneliness creeps in, God is still there.

  Think of the Psalms. David often cried out about feeling alone Yet he always
• 3:14
  circled back to God's presence,
• 3:17
  Psalms 34, verse 18 says The Lord is close to the brokenhearted And saves those
• 3:23
  who are crushed in spirit That's not just poetry,
• 3:26
  it's reality So how do we hold on to God's presence when we feel lonely?
• 3:32
  Here are three things that have helped me.
• 3:36
  Talk to him. Talk to him honestly. Don't hide your loneliness from God.
• 3:42
  Tell him how you feel. He can handle your honesty.
• 3:46
  Open his word. We just gave you two scriptures right now, right?
• 3:50
  Scripture reminds us of his promise when your feelings say otherwise.

  And reach out. Sometimes God answers prayers for connection by nudging us to

  send a text, a call, a friend, or step into community, even when it feels hard.

  Loneliness loses its power when we invite God and others into it.
• 4:16

  You're not invisible. You are loved.

  God sees you. God hears you. And God is right now with you.
