- 0:09Speaker 1: VI Shooters.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Welcome to the naughtyven I sham your host Rush Shooter,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and it's Wednesday, which means our dear friend Donny Meacham
- 0:20Speaker 2: joins us. Hey, Donnie, are you there?
- 0:22Speaker 1: All level level level level? Ow if you thought you
- 0:25Speaker 1: were rid of me, because those last few weeks of
- 0:28Speaker 1: December wasn't here, it was the holidays. We guess we're
- 0:31Speaker 1: I'm back twenty twenty, twenty twenty five.
- 0:35Speaker 2: We never want to see the end of view. We
- 0:37Speaker 2: don't want to get rid of you. We love you.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Originally I was the ridge of the ogre.
- 0:44Speaker 2: If people don't realize this. Before I got the podcast,
- 0:47Speaker 2: I had a radio show, the Subscription Show, and Donnie
- 0:50Speaker 2: was the producer who was assigned to the show. He
- 0:52Speaker 2: didn't really want to do it, but they forced him
- 0:54Speaker 2: to do it, and then he fell in love Shooter.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Well, well, like would be a good thing. Also not tease.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I believe in the power of manifestation. That's what we're
- 1:03Speaker 1: going to do this year, in twenty twenty five. We're
- 1:05Speaker 1: going to positivity and speaking words. So I am up
- 1:09Speaker 1: for a I can't say much about a campaign like
- 1:13Speaker 1: a commercial, and it's a pretty big commercial with a
- 1:19Speaker 1: pretty big deal, so I and we'll find out either
- 1:23Speaker 1: later this week or early next week. So everybody out there,
- 1:26Speaker 1: just yeah, good vibes, good vibe.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Goode, Oh Donnie, that makes me so happy. I cheer
- 1:31Speaker 2: for my friends. If you have people around you who
- 1:34Speaker 2: don't cheer for you, they're not your friend.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Get rid of them, Get get get rid of them.
- 1:40Speaker 2: For a long time, Johno, we both had people in
- 1:42Speaker 2: our lives who didn't really want us to succeed. They
- 1:45Speaker 2: were a friend as long as we were a little
- 1:49Speaker 2: less than them. But once we spread our wing, so
- 1:53Speaker 2: to speak, they weren't quite as friendly and anymore. And
- 1:56Speaker 2: we both got rid of that person, and I think
- 1:59Speaker 2: we're better off for it. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 2:01Speaker 2: What time is it, my friends? It is big story
- 2:04Speaker 2: at the top of the shows have finally Hugh Jackman
- 2:06Speaker 2: and Sutton Foster have been spotted together holding hands in
- 2:09Speaker 2: Santa Monico. And so we told you about this couple first.
- 2:13Speaker 2: We were the first to break this news. I knew
- 2:16Speaker 2: about it from my theater insiders. They met on the
- 2:19Speaker 2: Music Man, they fell in love. Then he got divorced
- 2:22Speaker 2: from his wife of over twenty years. She's now divorced.
- 2:25Speaker 2: She's in La doing Once Upon a Mattress, which is
- 2:28Speaker 2: a musical. She's doing it at the Armuson Theater in La.
- 2:31Speaker 2: He was spotted there in the audience, but not with her.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Well now, just a few days later we have spotted
- 2:38Speaker 2: them together. It was a date night. They look really,
- 2:40Speaker 2: really happy. It's the first public display of affection that
- 2:45Speaker 2: we've seen from these two. They've been together for about
- 2:48Speaker 2: two months now. Eyewitnesses said that they both were really happy.
- 2:53Speaker 2: They were walking hand in hand, and they didn't appear
- 2:57Speaker 2: to realize that the paparazzi in the photograhgraphers took their picture.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Beautiful pictures out there. You can google them, you can
- 3:04Speaker 2: see these pictures. I like these two as a couple.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I don't like how it began. It's always complicated, and
- 3:12Speaker 2: I'm sure we'll be looking at this timeline carefully. It's
- 3:15Speaker 2: like Arianna Grande and Ethan, her boyfriend. They got together
- 3:19Speaker 2: on a movie they made at work, but they both
- 3:22Speaker 2: were married. Brad and Angelina the same. It's a messy
- 3:26Speaker 2: beginning to a relationship, Donnie, but it doesn't mean the
- 3:29Speaker 2: relationship itself has to be messy. What do you think
- 3:32Speaker 2: about these two, what about them getting together? What do
- 3:34Speaker 2: you think about their exes? Just a lot here.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, So they were in Santa Monica, which is a
- 3:40Speaker 1: beautiful city by the beach here in California. And the
- 3:43Speaker 1: picture is they look genuinely happy. I'm not gonna lie
- 3:46Speaker 1: like when I saw the picture, they were smiling. I
- 3:48Speaker 1: smiled because I was like, whoa, these two actually look happy.
- 3:52Speaker 1: And it's also it's interesting to see a Hollywood couple.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You know, he's fifty six, she's forty nine. They're actually
- 3:57Speaker 1: close in age. That's strange. But you know all the
- 4:01Speaker 1: rumors about Hugh. Maybe I'll go sit outside the armis
- 4:05Speaker 1: in theater and just open up the old Grinder and
- 4:07Speaker 1: see what happens.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Grinder is a day dating app for the listeners that
- 4:11Speaker 2: there's lots of rumors about you being gay for a
- 4:14Speaker 2: long time. And that was because he married a woman
- 4:16Speaker 2: older than him. If a man had done that, nobody
- 4:19Speaker 2: would notice. But the fact his wife, deb was ten
- 4:21Speaker 2: years older, everyone was like, oh my goodness, he's gay.
- 4:24Speaker 2: She's the beard. Debbie has to get really annoyed about this.
- 4:27Speaker 2: They used to live quite close to me. They don't
- 4:28Speaker 2: live there anymore. I think deb still does. And I'd
- 4:30Speaker 2: bump into them on the west side walking their dogg
- 4:33Speaker 2: Is they looked like they were a couple. I didn't
- 4:35Speaker 2: believe he was gay. He's not, and now we know
- 4:38Speaker 2: that because of certain foster. So how do you feel, though, Donnie,
- 4:42Speaker 2: about a relationship starting before a previous relationship actually ends.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So here's the thing, and it kind of goes back
- 4:50Speaker 1: to the whole area on a grande thing is that
- 4:52Speaker 1: so he was married for twenty seven years to Deborah
- 4:56Speaker 1: and you just don't know the workings of a relationship
- 5:01Speaker 1: because people can still be together on paper, They can
- 5:04Speaker 1: still be together like physically because they're living in the
- 5:08Speaker 1: same house. But that relationship could have been over for years.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And the thing is, we just don't know that because
- 5:14Speaker 1: neither of them have kind of really come out and
- 5:17Speaker 1: talked more about it. I think he would be smart
- 5:20Speaker 1: to tend to not talk about it because they will
- 5:23Speaker 1: always be these rumors and stuff about him. But you know,
- 5:27Speaker 1: mentally wise and emotionally wise, this relationship could have been
- 5:31Speaker 1: over for a while. But the problem is, though, is
- 5:36Speaker 1: it could have been over on one side more than
- 5:38Speaker 1: the other. I'm assuming his side more than hers, because
- 5:41Speaker 1: he's the one already in a new relationship. The only
- 5:45Speaker 1: thing I just wish is that he didn't blindside her
- 5:49Speaker 1: with this relationship. He was open and honest about, Hey,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I'm out there seeing other people.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, she was at the Music Man a lot. I
- 5:55Speaker 2: was lucky enough to be invited to the opening nights.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I sat just behind Ryan Reynolds lower and Deb was there.
- 6:01Speaker 2: But the vibe I got was very much she was
- 6:03Speaker 2: his manager, not his wife. She was his publicist, she
- 6:06Speaker 2: was his cheering rumors, and so there was lots of
- 6:09Speaker 2: rumors for a long time. Mindside has telling me that
- 6:11Speaker 2: they didn't want to fall in love, that Sutton and
- 6:14Speaker 2: Hugh just had this spark and they kept it at
- 6:17Speaker 2: bay for as long as possible. And Mindsiders who were
- 6:20Speaker 2: friends with you, So you have to remember that A
- 6:23Speaker 2: saying that he did talk to Deb about this. She
- 6:26Speaker 2: did know that they were not getting along, that there
- 6:29Speaker 2: was trouble in the relationship, that Sutton had come along,
- 6:32Speaker 2: and that Sutton was very happy to walk away from this.
- 6:35Speaker 2: She was married too at the time, but there was
- 6:37Speaker 2: something that pulled them together. And now, even though it
- 6:41Speaker 2: started in a really messy messy way. It doesn't have
- 6:44Speaker 2: to be messy in I do like that these two
- 6:46Speaker 2: are not hiding anymore. It's a new Year's resolution to
- 6:49Speaker 2: be out there, to be proud about the love they've found,
- 6:53Speaker 2: if not really proud about how they've found it. But
- 6:57Speaker 2: life is really messy, which brings us to our pole
- 7:00Speaker 2: question of the day. We finally spotted to you Jackman
- 7:02Speaker 2: and Sudden Foster holding hands in public together in Santa Monica.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Oh it's nice there. It's a really fancy, beautiful, beautiful
- 7:10Speaker 2: rich Do you support this relationship? Are you into it? Yes?
- 7:12Speaker 2: Or no? Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty
- 7:15Speaker 2: Nice rob a Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip, and
- 7:18Speaker 2: be sure to check back to my ra will hate
- 7:20Speaker 2: you your results. Hey Donnie, what are you working on?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Also, it's uh so yesterday and today here in California,
- 7:27Speaker 1: we have been experiencing crazy, crazy winds, and so for me,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I'm kind of like have this. It's so weird because
- 7:34Speaker 1: they're like thirty five mile an hour guys, they are
- 7:36Speaker 1: life threatening wins. And it's it's scary because all these
- 7:39Speaker 1: buildings here they're old. It's like my apartment is built
- 7:42Speaker 1: in the nineteen forties. We have these very tiny windows,
- 7:44Speaker 1: and so it feels like the entire apartment's shaking. So
- 7:47Speaker 1: while I'm you know, doing the show right now, I'm
- 7:49Speaker 1: just kind of.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Like, oh, oh no, Donnie, don't fly off until twenty minutes.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I'll be furious if you leave halfway through the show.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Hold out of that window talkfest like Dorothy and the
- 7:57Speaker 2: Wisdom of ours Hell.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Look, Megan Marco, yes, and she is trying. She is
- 8:02Speaker 1: out there. She might as well go down to the
- 8:04Speaker 1: Walk of Fame and pedal her products one by one
- 8:07Speaker 1: on the She is her lifestyle brand, Riviera or Jared
- 8:13Speaker 1: American Riviera Orchard which don't forget she couldn't find a
- 8:16Speaker 1: CEO forever, so what did she do? Made herself CEEO.
- 8:20Speaker 2: She's gonna be.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Selling her products directly to viewers via Netflix. So she
- 8:28Speaker 1: has a new lifestyle show with Love Megan. It's gonna
- 8:32Speaker 1: debut on January fifteenth. I'm not gonna lie. I'm probably
- 8:34Speaker 1: gonna skip it, but you know, whatever, I enjoy you.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I implore you to watch it. Very smart though, because
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's almost like a home shopping network with QBC, which
- 8:43Speaker 1: people might forget that they're around they make billions of
- 8:46Speaker 1: dollars a year selling. Only thing I am interested to
- 8:52Speaker 1: see how it works is if they do some sort
- 8:54Speaker 1: of QR code that you can scan on your phone.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Because the problem with me, though is when I met
- 8:59Speaker 1: home and I'm scrolling through my phone is Apple pay
- 9:02Speaker 1: has been the worst thing to ever happen to a person.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Who shaps and you don't know you spend your money?
- 9:07Speaker 1: Do you just click on it and then you hit
- 9:09Speaker 1: Apple Pay and then it's just boom boom, boom boom.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I know those ubers because it always gets charged to
- 9:14Speaker 2: your credit card. If you remember of a private club,
- 9:16Speaker 2: there's private clubs in New York and they don't accept money.
- 9:19Speaker 2: They just bill you each month. Well really, they just
- 9:21Speaker 2: take it off your credit card and you can get
- 9:23Speaker 2: very very dangerous. I think this is a good idea.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Now people are going to look down upon this because
- 9:27Speaker 2: they're going to be, oh, Megan selling out, Yes she is.
- 9:29Speaker 2: She's gonna make money, that's what she's doing now. They
- 9:31Speaker 2: want to make a lot of money. And if she
- 9:33Speaker 2: has successful products, there's nothing like fragrances and products to
- 9:37Speaker 2: make you a ton of money. You know. Ryan Reynolds
- 9:40Speaker 2: had a tequila brand, So did George Clooney. Lots of
- 9:42Speaker 2: people do this. I'm not a snob about it. Does
- 9:45Speaker 2: it feel a little qv cee Yes, But there's nothing
- 9:47Speaker 2: wrong with that either. Big stars now go on QVC
- 9:50Speaker 2: to sell their products. I think this is smart and
- 9:53Speaker 2: I think she didn't do it, it'd be a wasted opportunity.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And if Netflix are going to be okay with this,
- 9:57Speaker 2: and they've done it in the past, there's been other
- 9:59Speaker 2: examples when their style, yes, exactly, sell products, endorsement deals
- 10:04Speaker 2: and Netflix. Netflix is probably taking a percentage out of this.
- 10:07Speaker 2: They might take five attempence I know.
- 10:09Speaker 1: So that's them money.
- 10:10Speaker 2: That will make them money too, And they've got to
- 10:12Speaker 2: make back that hundred million that they gave her. This
- 10:14Speaker 2: is just all a way to make more money. Welcome
- 10:19Speaker 2: to America. That's what the game is here. And so
- 10:21Speaker 2: if you're a snob about this, if you're looking down
- 10:23Speaker 2: you know, is that this, then I think you're a
- 10:25Speaker 2: little bit out of perspective. Here, girl, make that money.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I think she's trying to do it in a in
- 10:30Speaker 2: a sort of classy way. She wants this to be
- 10:32Speaker 2: a lifestyle show. It ain't. It's q the see. She
- 10:37Speaker 2: might as well stand there with those pots of jam
- 10:39Speaker 2: and sell them, don't.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I If I had a product other than myself, I
- 10:43Speaker 1: would sell it to you every week here on the
- 10:45Speaker 1: ninety but nine show. I mean you could just venmo me.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I don't care. I'm selling myself. I'm the product. If
- 10:49Speaker 1: we had a product, we would sell it to you.
- 10:50Speaker 2: We've got to get a product. Should we do? Should ourselves? Honey?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Not selling ourselves? Toney, I'm not walking fee picks. It's
- 10:59Speaker 2: out rageous. Let's move you lounged Donny Meachum. Oh, Dennie
- 11:02Speaker 2: Moore's Golden Globes speech, It's really exposed a really ugly
- 11:06Speaker 2: side of Hollywood. So Demi had a beautiful speech saying
- 11:09Speaker 2: that she was told once by a producer that she
- 11:11Speaker 2: was a popcorn actress, putting her down and saying basically
- 11:14Speaker 2: that she could make a lot of money and she
- 11:15Speaker 2: could be in summer blockbusters, but she was never gonna
- 11:18Speaker 2: wouldn't win any awards, she was never gonna have a
- 11:20Speaker 2: prestigious career. Well, now she's proving them wrong. However, friends
- 11:23Speaker 2: are now telling pay six that this is what Hollywood is.
- 11:27Speaker 2: After Demi took a long break. It was really hard
- 11:30Speaker 2: for her to get back into the business. And if
- 11:32Speaker 2: you look at her IMDb, you will see that there's
- 11:35Speaker 2: this huge gap and then after the gap, just tiny
- 11:37Speaker 2: little rolls, little cameos. It took her a long time
- 11:42Speaker 2: to fight back, and I think it's about agism too,
- 11:45Speaker 2: particularly with female actresses in Hollywood. They can be really,
- 11:50Speaker 2: really brutal, really really cruel. Demi. I love that you
- 11:53Speaker 2: get in the last slav here. I think it's so inspiring.
- 11:56Speaker 2: You're such a talented actress that has often been undervalued
- 12:00Speaker 2: because you're just so pretty. Like you never think of
- 12:03Speaker 2: being pretty as a bad thing. It's not. It's a
- 12:05Speaker 2: great thing. But sometimes when you're as beautiful as Demi,
- 12:08Speaker 2: you were sort of devalued a little bit. You thought
- 12:10Speaker 2: it was just that pretty dumb girl, and that's absolutely
- 12:14Speaker 2: not the case. I love that she's she's back, and
- 12:17Speaker 2: she's arguably bigger than she's ever been before. Donning Yes.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I mean, here's the thing. One of my favorite movies
- 12:22Speaker 1: of all time is Gi Jane with Jimmy Moore, is
- 12:25Speaker 1: where she went to the army and she did her
- 12:28Speaker 1: She's a very talented actress, and here is the reality
- 12:31Speaker 1: of Hollywood is a lot of actresses and actors out there.
- 12:35Speaker 1: They are popcorn actresses. They're meant for summer blockbusters. They're
- 12:39Speaker 1: not meant to win Oscars and not meant to do that,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and they're okay with that. The problem is is there
- 12:45Speaker 1: are Hollywood execs out there and they have the audacity
- 12:49Speaker 1: and the nerve to tell you these things to your face.
- 12:52Speaker 1: And it's like, what do you get out of telling
- 12:55Speaker 1: me this. You're purposely putting me down while cashing my
- 12:58Speaker 1: paycheck that I'm earning for you. It's really insulting. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: Demmy's speech was beautiful. And also, let's not forget she
- 13:06Speaker 1: spent a lot of time taking care of Bruce. She
- 13:09Speaker 1: has a really good relationship with her ex husband Bruce
- 13:12Speaker 1: Willis and their kids, and she Bruce's Bruce is dying.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Let's be honest with you.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Bruce is going through a really hard time and she
- 13:21Speaker 1: takes care of him along with his new current partner.
- 13:24Speaker 1: And Demmy had the last laugh. And if Demi was
- 13:27Speaker 1: to never work again after this, I think emotionally she
- 13:31Speaker 1: would feel on top. And I think that is what matters.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Absolutely. Donnie just said that, you know, before we do
- 13:36Speaker 2: our final story before the break. I think of you
- 13:39Speaker 2: as much more than a popcorn podcast host, much more.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I see webbies, I see lots of woods, and I
- 13:47Speaker 2: see a big commercial that we are all visualizing. We
- 13:50Speaker 2: want it, we want it, we want it, okay quickly
- 13:52Speaker 2: before we get a break. A sad story, Aubrey Plaster
- 13:54Speaker 2: is finally speaking out about the tragic death of her husband.
- 13:57Speaker 1: What does she have to say so her film like
- 14:00Speaker 1: her husband Jeff Baina died at forty seven years old,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and he died by suicide, And she said, it is
- 14:08Speaker 1: an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who
- 14:12Speaker 1: has offered support. Please respect our privacy at the time,
- 14:16Speaker 1: a very short statement, she says, I could not imagine
- 14:20Speaker 1: living with somebody, being married to somebody and then one
- 14:23Speaker 1: day them committing suicide. The pain and the guilt this
- 14:28Speaker 1: woman must be going through of wondering could she have
- 14:30Speaker 1: done more? Could she have helped him more? It has
- 14:33Speaker 1: to be just as she says, unimaginable. And so I
- 14:36Speaker 1: think the best we can all do is give her
- 14:40Speaker 1: a minute.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Let's go to breathe. Yeah, Donnie, let's listen to our
- 14:43Speaker 2: own words. YT's give us some grace here. We're not
- 14:45Speaker 2: going to talk about Aubrey until she wants to talk
- 14:48Speaker 2: to us again and do publicity and be back out there.
- 14:51Speaker 2: And so we're definitely going to give her grace on
- 14:52Speaker 2: this show. And I hope other shows are the podcasts
- 14:55Speaker 2: of the TV shows. I hope they do too. Okay,
- 14:58Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:00Speaker 2: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but nic
- 15:06Speaker 2: Sham your hisstor of shoot with their dear friend Donnie Meecham. Hey, Donnie,
- 15:09Speaker 2: let's get to the polls. Yesterday we confirmed that Jen
- 15:13Speaker 2: and Ben Benny for Part two is officially over. They
- 15:16Speaker 2: finalized their divorce. A checky question, do you think they'll
- 15:20Speaker 2: get back together again? Because we didn't think the second time?
- 15:23Speaker 2: Could then a third time. Let's have a look. Eighty
- 15:25Speaker 2: percent said no, No, this is not happening again. I
- 15:28Speaker 2: think I'm with you, but you never know in Hollywood,
- 15:31Speaker 2: you never never, never know, and so I think I'm
- 15:34Speaker 2: with you. Naughty's don't forget to vote on today's poll.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob at
- 15:39Speaker 2: facebook page is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check
- 15:44Speaker 2: back to Mara Walter, hear your results and now it's
- 15:48Speaker 2: time for an nisiest of the day. Well.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Also in true Ben and Gin fashion, Jen was at
- 15:57Speaker 1: Ben's house the morning divorce was fine.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Let's so betten in that any here?
- 16:02Speaker 1: So the nicest of the day Taylor Swift. She was
- 16:05Speaker 1: sunbathing in a bikini with her backup singers and a
- 16:10Speaker 1: rare behind the scenes snap. So she was taking a
- 16:14Speaker 1: break from her record breaking eras tour and her crew
- 16:19Speaker 1: and all them. They were just on the beach and
- 16:22Speaker 1: she looked sunny and beautiful. And it's only rare because
- 16:26Speaker 1: we never really see pictures of Taylor Swift like this.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I don't know if she has one of those. It's
- 16:31Speaker 1: got to be a rule in her contract. If you
- 16:33Speaker 1: work with me, give me your phone, if we go anywhere,
- 16:35Speaker 1: you're not allowed to take pictures of me. There's got
- 16:38Speaker 1: to be something, because we never really see pictures of
- 16:40Speaker 1: Taylor Swift.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Mmm, you know she's in a bikini? Yeah, yeah, I
- 16:43Speaker 2: mean I do love that she's aware this picture has
- 16:46Speaker 2: been taken. It was posted by one of her longtime
- 16:48Speaker 2: backup singers. They've been friends for a long time. Mind
- 16:50Speaker 2: Side has tell me their friends. Taylor approved this. Nobody's
- 16:53Speaker 2: posting pictures of her without her permission, so it's all kosher.
- 16:57Speaker 2: It's nice to see them off stage, and it's also
- 16:59Speaker 2: nice to real that they hang out. I've worked with
- 17:02Speaker 2: a lot of pop stars who don't talk to anybody
- 17:04Speaker 2: in their crew. They don't even know the name of
- 17:07Speaker 2: the people in the band. I always laugh in these
- 17:09Speaker 2: concerts when they're like, please give the band a random applause.
- 17:12Speaker 2: They're my best friends. I love my backups that you
- 17:15Speaker 2: don't name the names name but barely barely know them.
- 17:19Speaker 2: That's not true with Taylor. They hang out as equals
- 17:22Speaker 2: as possibly they can, considering she's got a billion a
- 17:25Speaker 2: billion dollars and they don't. But she's very generous to them,
- 17:28Speaker 2: and not just generous with her money, with her time.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I think they've developed really beautiful friendships and it makes
- 17:34Speaker 2: me happy and nicest. Of the day now and he's
- 17:36Speaker 2: the day, naughty, naughty MS and not he's of the
- 17:41Speaker 2: day Meredith the Era from the Today Show. She's lost
- 17:43Speaker 2: her husband, Richard Cohen, who died at seventy six years
- 17:47Speaker 2: old after fighting a fifty year MS battle. So Meredith
- 17:52Speaker 2: and her husband have been together for a long, long, long, long,
- 17:57Speaker 2: long long time. Now they're friends and Savannah have shared
- 18:01Speaker 2: the heartbreaking news on the Today Show that Richard passed
- 18:04Speaker 2: away surrounded by family and love. They have three children together.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I know Meredith a little bit, and she's such a cool, smart,
- 18:13Speaker 2: kind person, and Richard was always the center of her life.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Despite this enormous TV career, all this success, Richard was
- 18:22Speaker 2: the heartbeat of that family. He has been battling MS
- 18:26Speaker 2: for fifty years five zero, so this became a way
- 18:30Speaker 2: of life for Meredith and her husband. It wasn't just
- 18:33Speaker 2: a few short years at the end of his life,
- 18:36Speaker 2: the majority of his life. When he was twenty six,
- 18:40Speaker 2: he was diagnosed with their mess, so he's had this
- 18:43Speaker 2: a really long time. Rest in peace, Meredith, We are
- 18:46Speaker 2: sending you our love. Okay, let's end with a moment
- 18:50Speaker 2: of rab Perseverance is failing nineteen times and succeeding on
- 18:57Speaker 2: the twentieth. You got to keep trying, won't give up.
- 19:01Speaker 2: That's all that success is. If people ask me my
- 19:04Speaker 2: definition of success, it's the willingness to try and try
- 19:09Speaker 2: again and try again. After that, I could fail nineteen
- 19:12Speaker 2: times on the twentieth I will succeed and I promise
- 19:16Speaker 2: the same is true for you. Keep going. You just
- 19:20Speaker 2: need one yes. Hey, that is it for today. Thank
- 19:23Speaker 2: you so much for listening to the Naughty Bit, Nice
