- 0:04Welcome to After Dark and the American Out Loud Talk Radio Network.
- 0:08I am your host, Rob Harper, coming to you live from the great state of New York City, the Big Apple.
- 0:14And my co-host tonight is none other than Heather Robinson, a contributor for the New York Post.
- 0:20We are coming on tonight to discuss the White House correspondence dinner.
- 0:25Matt.
- 0:26We didn't expect what happened, happened.
- 0:29Actually didn't expect Trump to uh be there, but he decided uh earlier this month that he would be in attendance.
- 0:37And what a night it was.
- 0:40But before we get into it, Heather, how are you?
- 0:42I'm doing well really well, Rob.
- 0:44I mean, I'm sorry about the assassination attempt on our president, but uh personally I'm fine.
- 0:50How are you?
- 0:51Heather, I'm great.
- 0:52You know, I did not expect well it's kind of cliche to say I didn't expect this.
- 0:57No one expected it, because this was this was supposed to be a safe place, a safe night.
- 1:05That the White House, the correspondents, the folks that cover the White House, they go, they get all dressed up, they dine, they whine.
- 1:14And it's a bit of a roast, you know, they make fun of each other, the president, the president makes fun of them.
- 1:20But what I thought was unusual before what unfolded unfolded is that you had a lot of journalists who were coming out saying that it was unacceptable that Trump was going to be given a platform to roast them.
- 1:34And you had Jake Tapper to say he was gonna go, but he had created some handkerchief to put in his jacket saying that it's talking about the amendment first amendment and free the amendment, and I think that was a theme of the White House correspondence gender, the First Amendment, freedom of the press.
- 1:51And so you had him talking out against it, you had Jim Acosta saying that the journalists that were there when Trump got ready to speak and got ready to roast them, that they should all walk out.
- 2:03You had April Ryan, and she was another one who said that you know she really wouldn't go, she doesn't want to go because she doesn't like Trump, but she liked the cause, and they were raising money for uh scholarships to give to journalists journalist students.
- 2:15I'm surprised that they even give money to journalist students, considering how journalism has just like taken just fallen down flat on his face with the coverage.
- 2:24It's no more who, what, when, where, and how is mainly them trying to be part of the story.
- 2:30So you had all these journalists coming out before the dinner saying that people shouldn't go, and if you do go, you should boycott.
- 2:37Once Trump got up, that they should all storm out.
- 2:40They didn't know they would be able to storm out because Secret Service might keep them from going out.
- 2:44I mean, you had all this crazy rhetoric.
- 2:46And even during when it started, when it opened up, I was watching it, on fake news CNN, you had a commentator, Essie Cup, who at one point said she was a conservative.
- 3:02And once Trump became the president, she decided that she was going to go rogue and she became a rhino, and she's been attacking him ever since.
- 3:12But so I was watching her, and I was watching uh her give her spill, and I was watching the White House correspondence donor.
- 3:21And just as Trump entered into the room, and they started everyone showed up and they were playing Hill to the Chief, she was on CNN and she was asking a comedian who had who was the MC, I think, during Barack Obama's last term, what his thoughts were on President Trump being there.
- 3:46And he was rather positive and uplifting.
- 3:50And because of that, she immediately cut him off and said, Oh, I don't want to hear what you have to say.
- 3:55I thought, well, no, this was before the the gunshots, I would say it was 20 minutes or 15 minutes before.
- 4:04And I have the receipt, and I want our listeners to listen to this.
- 4:08This is Essie Cup talking to a former MC of the White House Correspondents Dinner, listen to what she says to him.
- 4:17And I think I have his response back to her right.
- 4:20So here we go.
- 4:21Let me just cue this up.
- 4:24Okay, run the tape.
- 4:26Hi, Larry.
- 4:27It's so good to see you.
- 4:28As always.
- 4:30Um, I just wondered what you thought, as we've all mentioned, Trump is not gonna have a comedian there to do the thing where the comedian and a roast spoke the press and the president.
- 4:40It feels to me like Trump is a little scared of comedians, right?
- 4:44We've seen him go after Jimmy Kimmel and Cole Bear, and and now we have tonight.
- 4:48I'm just wondering what your take on on that is.
- 4:52Well, you know, I tend to try to focus on the positive of these things.
- 4:57Oh, please, okay, we're done.
- 5:01Well, I'll I'll say what I mean about this, because to me, if he if he isn't a business of appreciating journalists, I'll take that as a win.
- 5:10Because I know I know Trump is brittle, you know, he can't really take a joke, you know.
- 5:15So we we can't change him.
- 5:17But I see my my favorite moment of the correspondence was the year before I hosted.
- 5:21I got to meet Jason Raisin, you know, who was the political prison.
- 5:25And it just it it reminded me of what the importance of this night really is, you know.
- 5:30And we need journalism to be strong now more than ever.
- 5:33We're in the middle of the war, right?
- 5:35And so I'm if he honors the press in the right way.
- 5:39I don't care about the comedy party, you know, do the right thing, Mr.
- 5:41President.
- 5:42That's a big issue now.
- 5:43Yeah, if he honors the press, that's a good question.
- 5:46No, yeah.
- 5:48More concern about Trump roasting the press because they want to be able to attack him, and for him not to say anything at all.
- 6:00We're at this point in time, and we've talked about this on previous shows, Heather.
- 6:08Because of the left.
- 6:10And I I don't want and I know we can always say, well, both sides do it.
- 6:15I don't want to hear that anymore because there has only been one side who have attempted an assassination attempt on President Trump.
- 6:26They killed Charlie Kirk.
- 6:29Now think about this.
- 6:33Barack Obama, the first black president.
- 6:39He could do no wrong, and people had to be careful with what they say because whatever you said, they would say you're a racist.
- 6:47Or you're after the president.
- 6:50Not once.
- 6:52Hear me quite clearly.
- 6:55During his two terms as president, was there ever reported a credible threat to his life?
- 7:01A credible threat to his life.
- 7:06Michelle Obama came out and said that, oh, some of the things he said could have got my husband killed.
- 7:06Michelle Obama came out and said that, oh, some of the things he said could have gotten my husband killed.
- 7:12There was never a credible threat.
- 7:12There was never a credible threat.
- 7:16Now, there might have been threats if they said, well, we need to look into this.
- 7:16Now, there might have been threats that they said, well, we need to look into this.
- 7:19But a credible threat, an assassination attempt against Obama, Michelle, or anyone else in their orbit.
- 7:19But a credible threat, an assassination attempt against Obama, Michelle, or anyone else in.
- 7:31Fast forward to Donald Trump.
- 7:36This is the third assassination attempt.
- 7:42First, I thought it was the fourth.
- 7:44Is it the fourth?
- 7:45Well, I mean, there was there was there was in Butler, the one where they that kid shot his ear.
- 7:51Then there was one where someone tried to reach a fence of the White House.
- 7:57Okay.
- 7:59Well, there was one in Florida.
- 8:01Okay.
- 8:02Right.
- 8:02When it's a golf course.
- 8:03Yes.
- 8:04And then this was so the one when they were trying to breach the fence at the White House, I wasn't even counting that.
- 8:09Okay.
- 8:10But let's count.
- 8:11Right, right.
- 8:12Didn't get that close.
- 8:13But if but that even being said, four attempts on his life.
- 8:21The first one we all saw played out on TV.
- 8:25The last one we saw all played out.
- 8:28And the left's response now.
- 8:32This was probably set up.
- 8:34Right before we came on, I was watching a video of none other than Tucker Carlson saying maybe this was all set up.
- 8:43You know why he's saying that?
- 8:44Because Carolyn Levitt, the White House press secretary, who's now on maternity leave, who was at the event.
- 8:52Before the event, they were asking her, what do you expect is going to happen tonight?
- 8:56And she said, Oh, I'm sure we're going to have a good time.
- 8:58There are going to be a lot of uh shots fired.
- 9:02No, she was speaking hyperbole.
- 9:06Tucker Carlson knows it.
- 9:08But he immediately jumped on that and he started running the circuit saying, Oh, well, maybe it was a setup because remember what she said?
- 9:15I'm thinking at this point at this point on, I will never believe anything he says until he comes out and admits that he's been taking money from Qatar.
- 9:27Never again.
- 9:28If Candace Owens comes out and says the exact same thing, if Megan Kelly, those three know what she meant, but they're trying to take it and try to turn it into something that is not.
- 9:40You know why?
- 9:41Because unfortunately, they know that there are a low informational voters who will believe this.
- 9:48They'll jump on that because they want something.
- 9:50They want, they do not want to accept the fact that the left has created a hostile environment against this president.
- 9:59They don't want to accept it.
- 10:01Someone even sent me a text saying, you know what?
- 10:04I think God is trying to tell Trump something.
- 10:07I'm like, well, what could that be?
- 10:08I'm like, because when you look at the Bible, they were always trying to kill prophets or apostles who were doing good.
- 10:18Anyone who was doing bad, they didn't care about it.
- 10:21You know why?
- 10:21Because they already have them.
- 10:23So what could God possibly be telling Trump other than keep going, keep going.
- 10:30But you see how people try to turn things around to fit their narrative because they don't want to accept that the Democrat Party has been so busy stroking the fires of discord, telling people that Trump is bad.
- 10:50Trump is evil.
- 10:52Trump is doing all these bad things.
- 10:54And this is exactly what this attempted assassinator said in this manifesto that Trump is a pedophile.
- 11:01Trump is a racist.
- 11:03Yeah, yeah.
- 11:03Yeah.
- 11:04All this totally unsubstantiated distortion, if not total fabrication.
- 11:11They need to be held accountable.
- 11:13Now, I only play one more tape, Heather, and then I'm gonna let you jump in because I know that you can't wait to come in.
- 11:19So this is a tape that after this happened, Trump was gracious enough to give an interview to Nora O'Donnell of 60 Minutes.
- 11:31That's something else I have to say about Trump.
- 11:33He is the most accessible president ever.
- 11:37No matter what people say, I would have never given them an interview because I know they're gonna try to twist it or they're gonna, but he said, No, I will do it.
- 11:46And he Barack Obama would never do it.
- 11:49He completely shut out Fox because he felt, oh, they're not being fair.
- 11:53Look at Joe Biden.
- 11:54He never went on Fox.
- 11:55Yeah, it's a good point.
- 11:56But Trump enters a lion den all the time, and you can't get people to see if he's doing why would he do this if he has so much to hide?
- 12:07They can't tell you.
- 12:08It's just that, well, I hate Trump.
- 12:11Why do you hate him?
- 12:13Well, because he says this and he does something else.
- 12:15All presidents do this.
- 12:17Well, he's arrogant.
- 12:18You have to be arrogant to be in that role.
- 12:22But see, with Trump, it's a different angle.
- 12:25They're looking at something completely different.
- 12:27So let me play this tape of Nora O'Donnell asking Trump.
- 12:32What can we do better?
- 12:34How do you think you can change this as opposed to saying the media is going to do better because we have we have famed these we have famed these flames, banned these flames, I'm sorry, for so long that this is where we are.
- 12:49Run the tape.
- 12:55He appears to reference a motive in it.
- 12:58He writes this quote.
- 12:59Administration officials, they are targets.
- 13:02And he also wrote this.
- 13:04I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile rapist and traitor to cope my hands with his crimes.
- 13:10What's your reaction?
- 13:12Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would because you're horrible people.
- 13:18Yeah, he did write that.
- 13:20I'm not a big I didn't rape anybody.
- 13:23No, you can't.
- 13:25Excuse me.
- 13:27I'm not a pedophile.
- 13:28You mean that crap from some sick person.
- 13:32I got associated with all stuff that has nothing to do with me.
- 13:37I was totally exonerated.
- 13:39Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let's say, Epstein or other things.
- 13:48But I said to myself, you know, I'll do this interview and probably I read the manifesto.
- 13:55But you should be ashamed of your filtering that because I'm not any of those things.
- 14:00Those things.
- 14:00I know he said that very excuse me.
- 14:02Excuse me.
- 14:04You shouldn't be reading that in 60 minutes.
- 14:04You shouldn't be reading that in 60 minutes.
- 14:06You're a disgrace.
- 14:06You're a disgrace.
- 14:07But go ahead, let's finish the interview.
- 14:07But go ahead, let's finish the interview.
- 14:09Now, I understand as a journalist why she would bring it up.
- 14:09Now, I understand as a journalist why she would bring it up.
- 14:13Uh huh.
- 14:13Uh-huh.
- 14:14I want to put it into context.
- 14:14I want to put it into context because this guy, and she was reading the manifesto from the alleged person who tried to uh assassinate Trump.
- 14:16Because this guy, and she was reading the manifesto from the alleged person who tried to uh assassinate Trump.
- 14:23Well, I don't mean to interrupt, but your voice just got a little softer.
- 14:23Rob, I don't mean to interrupt, but your voice just got a little softer.
- 14:26Can you hear me now, Heather?
- 14:26Can you hear me now, Heather?
- 14:28That's better.
- 14:28That's better.
- 14:28Yes.
- 14:28Yes.
- 14:29Okay, thank you.
- 14:29Okay, thank you.
- 14:30Uh she was again, I understand why she was doing it as a journalist, but she should have put it into context because the media is responsible for a lot of these lies, these innuendos.
- 14:44They have created this saying that Trump is a pedophile.
- 14:48Trump is a rapist.
- 14:49And then they'll point to Egene Carroll, the lawsuit, and we have since learned, and it's gonna make his way through the courts, that she was telling some of her friends that the DNC paid her, or a DNC donor paid her to make all of this up.
- 15:09Now they won't they won't report that.
- 15:12They won't report what she said.
- 15:14They'll only the correction.
- 15:16Where did you hear?
- 15:17Uh-huh.
- 15:18I read this and the uh the the New York the New York Post.
- 15:22I thought I sent it to you.
- 15:23Okay.
- 15:24That she and they won't report that.
- 15:27That she is now saying that she was paid.
- 15:32Why won't they come out and say that?
- 15:35So if you're gonna read this, you should also say, and this came from they won't report on him going back and saying we need to, this case should be dismissed.
- 15:45The Jeffrey Epstein, she won't come out and say that there were Democrats who were there, and that Trump actually called the police on Jeffrey Epstein.
- 15:54She will only allow that part to stick with viewers because that's all they will remember.
- 16:01You see that she called him out.
- 16:03She called him out.
- 16:04Now him calling her out saying that it was a disgrace.
- 16:06They won't hear that.
- 16:08She knew exactly what she was doing.
- 16:10Now, again, I will give her credit.
- 16:11She was respectful, she listened when Trump said, you know, how could you do this?
- 16:16And the interview went on, and she had other questions.
- 16:19One last video I want to play.
- 16:21I know Heather, I said I was gonna let you get in here, but there's just so much height.
- 16:24I want to get here, and then I'm gonna let you come in.
- 16:27Now, this is another video, another receipt along the same lines of Nora O'Donnell.
- 16:33I will play this, we'll go to break, and then Heather, I will devote the second half to you.
- 16:38Here we go.
- 16:38Run the tape.
- 16:40I mentioned that because again, as his motive, you brought this up.
- 16:44He had social media accounts that had anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric.
- 16:49You should read what didn't you read all the anti-Trump and you read it?
- 16:54So why don't you read it?
- 16:56Well, he had a lot of anti-Christian rhetoric.
- 16:59He had he was part of a group called the Wide Aways.
- 17:02He had attended a No Kings protest in California.
- 17:06What did security tell you about what she did?
- 17:09The reason you have people like that is you have people doing no kings, I'm not a king.
- 17:13What I am, if I was a king, I wouldn't be dealing with you.
- 17:16Also at the dinner last night was your secretary, Robert F.
- 17:20Kennedy Jr.
- 17:21His sister, Carrie Kennedy was there.
- 17:24They both witnessed their father and their uncle be assassinated.
- 17:29Erica Kirk was there.
- 17:31House majority leader, Steve Scalise was there.
- 17:35Political violence has touched so many people in that room.
- 17:40Is there something that you as president can do?
- 17:43What can be done to change the trajectory?
- 17:46You know.
- 17:49You go back 20 years, 40 years, 100 years, 200 years, 500 years.
- 17:55It's always very many.
- 17:57People are assassinated.
- 17:59People are injured, people are hurt.
- 18:02And I'm not sure that it's any more now than there was.
- 18:05I do think that the hate speech of the Democrats, much more so, is very dangerous.
- 18:11I really think it's very dangerous for the country.
- 18:14Very dangerous to the country, and I'm glad he called her out.
- 18:16Now we're up against a heartbreak.
- 18:18When we come back, I promise Heather will give her thoughts on this because she is waiting on pins and needles to share with you her thoughts.
- 18:27You listen to After Dark on the America Outlaw Talk Radio Network.
- 18:30My co-host tonight, this Heather Robinson, a contributor of the New York Post, whom I promise you will give you her thoughts on this after this brief commercial break.

- 19:39Prevention is power.
- 19:40Visit TWC.
- 19:54But it is a principle.
- 19:56And patriotism is loyal to that principle.
- 19:59I'm happy to report that American patriotism flows freely once again.
- 20:08America out loud dot news is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outloud truth.
- 20:22And we're back with the second half of the show.
- 20:24And as I promised, Heather Robinson is coming on to share her thoughts on this.
- 20:29I just had so much to get out because I've been looking at this, and I'm thinking, oh my gosh, here we are again.
- 20:36And it is time for Democrats to be held accountable.
- 20:41We have to believe them what they're doing and what they're saying.
- 20:46Just last week, before this had took place, like I said, you had all of these reporters saying, Oh, protest, don't do this, don't go here.
- 20:53Even before then, you have had Democrats to come out commentators to say that Trump deserves a bullet in the head.
- 21:00You had Jimmy Kimmel right before this on Friday night, giving a mock as if though he was the MC of the event and saying, made comments about Melania saying, look at Melania, she's looking as though she's just been widowed.
- 21:00You had Jimmy Kimmel right before this on Friday night, giving a mock as if though he was the MC of the event and say make comments about Melania saying, look at Melania, she's looking at though she's just been widowed.
- 21:15And then this happens.
- 21:15And then this happens.
- 21:17These people have to be held accountable.
- 21:17These people have to be held accountable.
- 21:20When they show us who they are, we have to believe them.
- 21:20When they show us who they are, we have to believe them.
- 21:24This man who tried who came all the way from California.
- 21:24This man who tried who came all the way from California, read his manifesto, had every intention of taking Trump out.
- 21:28Read his manifesto.
- 21:33He was not a white man, as the Democrats would like, but you took the speaker or the media.
- 21:38They would have loved for this to have been a white man.
- 21:41They would have loved it for it to be a white man so they could say all gun control.
- 21:44But what about the gun control of the eight children that were killed by the black man?
- 21:49No one has said anything about it.
- 21:51This will now take precedent.
- 21:52They're going to forget about that.
- 21:54But if all lives matter, if black lives matter, what about the gun control deal?
- 21:58Heather, you have the floor.
- 22:00Go for it.
- 22:02Yeah, I mean, I think it's pretty rich for Nora O'Donnell to I mean, ask him.
- 22:08I mean, what can be done, as you're saying, I mean, the media, heaven forbid, they might look at themselves and ask what could be done.
- 22:18I mean, in terms of their total one-sidedness, insidious bias and demonizing of Trump and all his supporters, which has gone on for the past however many years.
- 22:32I'm I'm losing track of it.
- 22:34I mean I I yeah, I I mean, I don't, I'm not so I mean, I'm glad President Trump pushed back.
- 22:42I'm not so sure it's exactly what I would consider hate speech, although that's a kind of a I guess uh uh sort of a quickie kind of term, but really what it is is it's just this the celebration of total one-sidedness that the the you know media has been engaged in and for all these years.
- 23:07I mean, it's just it's not good journalism, it's not, I mean, you know, and I I try to resist you know, us falling into the same pattern in reaction, Rob.
- 23:20You know, I know that we're very fed up with the left, but we should always keep in mind it isn't most liberals who are murderous.
- 23:30I mean, most people aren't mentally unbalanced enough to start trying to assassinate President Trump.
- 23:37And I don't know how much they really truly believe this.
- 23:41I guess they some of them do.
- 23:43They believe that he's a racist, but I mean, how many people really believe that he's a pedophile and a rapist?
- 23:51I mean, I I don't think most of them do.
- 23:54They just engage in this hyperbole and this distortion.
- 23:59Um you're right that that's become that has been normalized.
- 24:07Um it it has, you know, I I was talking to a friend today who's a Democrat, um Jewish person like me, and she was saying to me that it's been such a shock to her that her fellow Democrats to see so many of them on the side of Hamas, how who could have imagined it?
- 24:27Who could have imagined that people who are blatant sadistic terrorists who are targeting children and elderly and women and filming their rapes and the abductions and bragging about it, that that people wouldn't be ashamed to align themselves with with people like this.
- 24:46And I told her that it is somewhat shocking, but it's not totally shocking to me because maybe as you know, a conservative-leaning individual, I see it as being of a piece with what's gone on in a lot of areas in media.
- 25:02There's been so much yes, I guess you could call it hate speech, but just eliding of the truth, you know, repeating these these distortions over and over and over.
- 25:15You know, the example I gave her is now anyone who questions what was done with the the poorest border and who supports ICE in trying to identify and deport criminal illegal aliens, you know, we're we're termed um racists.
- 25:37I mean, you you hear in the media over and over again that the Trump supporters are anti-immigrant.
- 25:42You know, it's just one example.
- 25:44Like, first of all, the people that you're talking about are not immigrants, they're illegal, if you don't like the word aliens, illegal immigrants, fine, but they're here there, you know, whether you believe that they're their situations being handled properly or not.
- 26:01The point is the terminology the left has used is a deliberate distortion.
- 26:06They take away the word illegal to elide the distinction between people who are here legally as immigrants and people who sneaked across the border.
- 26:16Now, even if you believe in amnesty for those folks, or you don't agree with them being asked to show their papers to ICE and whatever, I mean, you still can understand the difference between legal, somebody who followed a process and was admitted to the country and came here legally, and someone who circumvented the process and came in against the rules.
- 26:42I mean, there is a difference, whether whatever your views about it, it's like saying, well, there's no difference between blue and green, they're the same color.
- 26:51I mean, that's what the media, the liberal media has done.
- 26:53So my point to her is how surprising is it that I mean people now have a negative, a lot of these democrats have a negative view of Israel, even you know, and and that they would go so far as to support Hamas.
- 27:09I mean, uh yes, that is somewhat shocking, but they've been they've been just propagandized for all these years, and they've heard over and over again all kinds of half-truths and lies about you know the Israel's what they're fencing the Palestinians in, you know, stuff that isn't true.
- 27:31So, you know, my point to her was just now, you know, some people are waking up to this because there is, you know, they they know that Israel's a good country of good people who fundamentally by and large uphold very classically liberal values, respect life, don't target civilians, don't torture people, don't, you know.
- 27:54I mean, all of this, they know that, and so they it's like they can see through the lens of that how distorted a lot of the coverage is, but they don't apply the same logic or or you know, they don't apply the same lens necessarily to the way President Trump is covered, the way issues like uh transgenderism and and immigration are covered.
- 28:00A lot of the coverages, but they don't apply the same logic or you know, they don't apply the same lens necessarily to the way President Trump is covered, the way issues like uh transgenderism and and the immigration are covered.
- 28:17Um, yes, so we know we know that the media, you know, they they have their own orthodoxy, and they they want their viewers to agree with them and see it their way, and that's how they cover things.
- 28:17Um, yes, so we know we know that the media, you know, they they have their own orthodoxy, and they they want their viewers to agree with them and see it their way, and that's
- 28:31They're deeply embedded in that bias, and that's reflected.
- 28:34Of course, Nora O'Donnell, as you noted, she's she's doing a job.
- 28:38And but I mean, for her to ask him, like, what can you do as president to affect the you know, the negativity in in cover?
- 28:49I mean political violence, it's like what I mean, what's he supposed to do other than you know, they want him to be a different personality type, they want him to be a little, you know, whatever, you know, Mr.
- 29:03Polite, Mr.
- 29:04Country Club Republican, that's not his personality.
- 29:06But I mean, other than that, you know, they they they try to uh attribute some of the division in the country to his personality, you know, but they won't look at themselves, they won't look at just how steep they are in their own bias and resentment and hysteria and over the top fear that Trump is is a maniac and he's crazy and he's racist and he's this and he's that.
- 29:34So I mean, yeah, I mean, what what can what does it show you?
- 29:37But you know, people just don't see themselves, I guess, and they're all reinforcing each other in this, and but we have to keep in mind we don't want to do what they do and overgeneralize.
- 29:50I mean, when you spend time with your friends and family who are democrats, I mean, most of them, I hope anyway, even though they may indulge in some Trump bashing, you know, most of them don't really believe that he's you know uh a mad dictator, and we're on the brink of you know, some Holocaust and somebody has to kill him before he can.
- 30:14I mean, it's like how many years can you tell yourself that and still, you know, how how much can you chicken little and carry on for how many years before some realization occurs that it isn't the end of the world that Trump is president?
- 30:31And I, you know, I find that most of my friends who are Democrats have kind of, you know, they've kind of given it a rest to some degree.
- 30:39Um, but I you know, I basically agree with you that this guy and other people like this, unbalanced people, you know, they they they're very inculcated with this hatred.
- 30:49They think we we've had this discussion before, you know, they think they're like these benighted figures who have to stop Trump, and it's just it's ridiculous, it's ridiculous, and the media should stop stoking it by you know by just calling him these things and and you know giving so much of a platform to people like this who are who are bashing the president, have no sense of balance or um no sense of open-mindedness to another position.
- 31:26I mean, there's a lot that the media could do to to try to normalize things in the country, and they don't show any signs of doing it.
- 31:36But they do it because they know that it works, it works every time, and that is the reason why they now want to come up with maybe this was staged and they want to use Caroline Levitt's words against her, knowing that it wasn't staged.
- 31:52Well, that's Tucker Carlson, right?
- 31:53Nobody but there no, there are others that are there on social media that are now trying to spin this, and the reason being is that they know that if they could get this, they could get enough people to buy this, they'll think that what happened was fake.
- 32:12Now, never mind you that then they'll have to say, Well, wait a minute, you mean a black man is going to travel all the way to California to do this for Trump?
- 32:19And if you want to question him, oh yeah, I think he probably paid him, he doesn't care.
- 32:22So this man is going to risk going to jail for life just for this ruse.
- 32:28Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:29Knowing that it doesn't make any sense.
- 32:32None of this makes any sense.
- 32:33Like I said, when you just look at the accusations against Trump, what they have accused him of, he's a dictator, he's a fascist, he's Hitler.
- 32:42They are the ones who are guilty of all of this when Biden was in office.
- 32:48Biden said, stay inside.
- 32:50If you don't take the drug, you're gonna lose your job.
- 32:54You can't go to church, you can't do this, forcing us against our will to do things.
- 33:00And people were okay with it.
- 33:02Because to them, Biden is going to protect us.
- 33:05Biden, a man who was suffering, who had a mental like block, and everyone knew it, and we kept telling you, but only after he left office that they decide, well, let's make money on it, and we're gonna tell the truth.
- 33:20And when you bring this to people's attention, you know what they'll say?
- 33:23Well, why are you bringing Biden in there?
- 33:25He's no longer in office.
- 33:26It's like, are you serious?
- 33:28Are you serious?
- 33:30Yeah, he's no longer in office, so let's not talk about that.
- 33:32So all the damage that he did, you don't want to talk about that.
- 33:36You want to talk about Trump, who's doing something good.
- 33:39Well, he's a person in office.
- 33:41Okay, if you want to talk about Trump, let's talk about all the positive things that he has done, what he has done for the economy.
- 33:47He's trying to root out these illegals that are here.
- 33:52He's trying to close the border.
- 33:54Look at all the money he found that Democrats were using to push propaganda overseas.
- 34:00A gay agenda, a transagenda.
- 34:02Look at all the money that they took.
- 34:04Now, look at the Christian, the uh Southern Party, this SPLC, Southern Poverty Leadership Center, exposing them.
- 34:12Now we're knowing that they were funding the KKK.
- 34:16And you know, they always wanted to run up to Trump and say, do you disabo David Duke and do you this?
- 34:21And Trump, I remember Trump said, I have done this so many times.
- 34:25How many ways do I have to say it?
- 34:28But no, no, no, we gotta bring this back up because they know that there are those low informational voters who want to hear this, and they want to believe it.
- 34:39They want a reason to hate Trump.
- 34:41Yeah, they don't want Trump to succeed, just like what we're doing with Iran.
- 34:47Every president has said, and Canada who was running for president said Iran cannot get a nuke.
- 34:53Iran cannot, Hillary Clinton, and this is what I'm gonna do if he if they try to get it.
- 34:57This is what I'm gonna do.
- 34:58Barack Obama said it.
- 34:59Oh, uh Biden said it.
- 35:00Uh Biden said it.
- 35:01They all said it, but they never did anything.
- 35:01They all said it, but they never did anything.
- 35:04The moment Trump does something, oh, he's doing something wrong.
- 35:04The moment Trump does something, oh, he's doing something wrong.
- 35:08He's how dare he goes and invade another country.
- 35:08He's how dare he goes and invade another country.
- 35:11How can he do this?
- 35:11How can he do this?
- 35:11And how can he do that?
- 35:11And how can he do that?
- 35:13It's like, are you serious?
- 35:13It's like, are you serious?
- 35:16Do we not know right from wrong?
- 35:16Do we not know right from wrong?
- 35:20All of this.
- 35:20All of this.
- 35:22Because Trump cannot be seen as a person who's doing actually what a president.
- 35:22Because Trump cannot be seen as a person who's doing actually what a president should do.
- 35:30Talk about an inconsequential person.
- 35:33It's Trump.
- 35:34He's unlike any other president we have ever had.
- 35:39Trump could have very easily said, Well, I'm gonna look the other way with that rant because it might mess make us uh lose the midterm.
- 35:45He's willing to gamble.
- 35:47He's willing to put it all on the line.
- 35:51After what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, I would have just stopped there and saying, No, these people are crazy.
- 35:55I'm I'm gonna stop.
- 35:57But he kept going.
- 35:58He wanted to get up and he said, fight, fight, fight.
- 36:04And what is the response?
- 36:06I was watching the view when this happened.
- 36:08Oh, he probably uh did it himself.
- 36:10He didn't get shot in the ear.
- 36:11What was the woman's name?
- 36:13Uh gosh, it was Sonny Hoston, and then the other one is there.
- 36:16Oh, he didn't get shot.
- 36:17Oh, well, come on.
- 36:18Joy Bihar.
- 36:20Not Joy, but the other one, the uh Anna Navarro.
- 36:23Whoopi.
- 36:23Anonavaro.
- 36:24He didn't get shot.
- 36:25That was all planned.
- 36:27No, it actually happened.
- 36:29And so you have a group of people who actually but they put it out there because they know that people want to believe it.
- 36:38They don't want the truth.
- 36:40They want to think the worst about this president by any means necessary.
- 36:46It's sick.
- 36:47It's sick.
- 36:47It's completely sick.
- 36:48We talk about Trump derangement syndrome.
- 36:51You have Ted Lou coming out saying something that's extremely derogatory, but they're not held accountable.
- 36:58Because when they are, when it's time for them to be held accountable, you will have a judge who will look the other way.
- 37:04And I was glad when Trump came out after this happened, he said this is a reason why we need the ballroom.
- 37:10You have all these judges trying to stop him.
- 37:12Why are they trying to stop him?
- 37:14He's doing something good.
- 37:15Taxpayers don't have to pay for it.
- 37:17Why wouldn't you want the white house to have a ballroom?
- 37:20I'll tell you why.
- 37:21Because Barack Obama didn't do it, because Trump didn't do it, and they're so afraid that if it gets built, they might call it later on in history the Trump ballroom, and God forbid they do that.

- 39:19And just continue the conversation on the fourth assassination attempted on our president's life.
- 39:27And why this keep happening?
- 39:30You know, after the incident, Trump actually wanted to go back and continue the White House correspondent's dinner.
- 39:38And he gave a press conference, and he said that, man, he said, I had something for you all.
- 39:42He said I was gonna hit you hard.
- 39:44He said, but then I thought about it.
- 39:45I'm like, maybe I'll have to uh you know change change my speech up a little bit.
- 39:50He said, I don't know if I would want to come in and hit you so hard in light of what has happened.
- 39:56I mean, he has the most affable personality of anyone of any of our presidents, he doesn't take himself too serious, and he's willing.
- 40:09People say that he's mean, but he's always willing to listen.
- 40:13He's willing to accept people back into the fold.
- 40:18I want to say I was surprised that Barack Obama didn't come out and say, I hope the president is doing good.
- 40:24We're glad that he and the first lady weren't harmed.
- 40:26The only thing he said is that we don't need political violence, which is the same thing he said after Butler.
- 40:33If if Barack Obama was an honorable man, Heather, he would reach out to this white house and say, Mr.
- 40:39President, this has got to stop.
- 40:40Why don't you and me get together and do a commercial or be seen talking so that we could solve this?
- 40:49He won't do it because Barack Obama is looking at power.
- 40:53Barack Obama is looking at his own presidency and how it's gonna look years from now, because right now he's gonna be relegated to being insignificant, other than the fact that he was the first black president.
- 41:05That's it, end stop.
- 41:07So he's looking at his legacy, and he's afraid to reach out and to say anything.
- 41:13Because he wants to go down, he wants to make certain that history covers him, as opposed to look at what we did as a great nation.
- 41:22I mean, Trump is far surpassed Barack Obama's presidency, other than the fact that Barack Obama would have the bragging right of being the first black president, that's it.
- 41:31What else will can we give him?
- 41:33Everything else he did was divisive.
- 41:36So he has to make certain that he could stop Trump by any means necessary.
- 41:44And that's not that's not who great leaders, that's not how a great leader should be.
- 41:48He should reach out and say, Look, we need to put us, we need to squash this.
- 41:52All the presidents need to come together.
- 41:55But they won't, because they're looking at the midterms.
- 41:58And if John Thune isn't if he's sleeping at the wheels, he needs to wake up, he needs to pass the SAD Act, they need to go ahead and fund DHS, blow up the filibuster, fund DHS because the Secret Service is funded out of that bill, out of their budget.
- 42:00If he's sleeping at the wheels, he needs to wake up.
- 42:03He needs to pass the SAD Act.
- 42:05They need to go ahead and fund DHS, blow up the filibuster, fund DHS because the Secret Service is funded out of that bill, out of their budget.
- 42:17These guys, women and men of the Secret Service, they haven't been paid.
- 42:17These guys, women and men of the Secret Service, they haven't been paid.
- 42:23Because the Democrats want to get rid of ICE.
- 42:23Because the Democrats want to get rid of ICE.
- 42:26So while they're all talking about, well, maybe the Secret Service could have done something better.
- 42:26So while they're all talking about, well, maybe the Secret Service could have done something better, or maybe this, or maybe that.
- 42:31Now they want to make it seem as if though it's a Secret Service's fault.
- 42:34That they should have done something better.
- 42:36That they should have checked the tickets, they should have had a better security.
- 42:40This was a public hotel.
- 42:42And I was surprised that the event where it was held, they don't shut down the other half of the hotel.
- 42:51People are still checking in and checking out, and that's how this man was able to check in the day before.
- 42:56And even in his manifesto, he was like, oh my God, this was so easy.
- 43:00Well, it should have been.
- 43:01It was a public hotel.
- 43:02They didn't shut it down.
- 43:04Which, and they should have.
- 43:08So instead of trying to attack the Secret Service, we should be going after Democrats and saying, you all really need to tone down the rhetoric.
- 43:18You need to come clean and say all these lies that you guys have been told been saying, it's nothing but a lie.
- 43:23This man is not Hitler.
- 43:26This man is not a fascist.
- 43:28This man is not a dictator.
- 43:29And as he said, the No Kings rally, the Democrats just had that.
- 43:32Why don't someone link that?
- 43:34Why don't someone say this guy was at the No Kings rally?
- 43:39Because Democrats are saying that we have a king.
- 43:41And you know what, Heather?
- 43:42This week, guess who's coming into town?
- 43:45King Charles.
- 43:46There is your king right there.
- 43:48There's your king right there.
- 43:50But they're saying, oh, Trump thinks he's a king.
- 43:52Who started that?
- 43:54The left.
- 43:55Why did they start it?
- 43:56Because they knew that there would be low informational voters who wouldn't be able to distract, like, wait a minute, what are they saying?
- 44:02This makes no sense.
- 44:04We don't have a king.
- 44:06Not to mention none of this crazy protesting could be going on if he was a king.
- 44:12I mean, it's like a self.
- 44:15It's like a self-proving falsehood.
- 44:19I mean, if you start screaming and protesting that somebody's a king and they let you do it, they're not a king.
- 44:26Because if they were, they'd be off with your head, you know.
- 44:30Off with your head.
- 44:31Now I have another receipt.
- 44:33This is shortly after they canceled the White House correspondent dinner.
- 44:39Trump came out and spoke to the press.
- 44:41Again, this man has a lot of balls.
- 44:44Because I don't think any other president would have done this.
- 44:46And you'll also have to remember that this was the same hotel that Reagan was almost assassinated.
- 44:54Some 45 years ago.
- 44:57On the outside.
- 44:59So here is President Trump.
- 45:01I think it was Peter.
- 45:04It was a Fox News correspondents who was asking Trump, why do you think this keeps happening to you?
- 45:10And here is a president's response.
- 45:13Run the tape.
- 45:15Why do you think this keeps happening to you?
- 45:19Well, you know, I studied assassinations.
- 45:24And I must tell you, the most impactful people, you know, people who knew the most, you think they look at the people, Abraham Lincoln.
- 45:33I mean, you go through the people that have gone through this where they got them.
- 45:38But the people that do the most, the people that make the biggest impact, they're the ones that they go after.
- 45:46That's so true.
- 45:47When you look at history, they're the ones that they go after.
- 45:50Now, nothing to against Barack Obama don't want anything to happen to him.
- 45:53But as I mentioned in the first block of the show, never was there a credible assassination attempt on his life.
- 46:01Never was there one against Biden.
- 46:03Never was there one against Bill Clinton.
- 46:06I'm saying the ones, if it was credible, they would have talked about it and they would have mentioned it.
- 46:12That's not to say that it didn't happen that they didn't mention it to us.
- 46:14They probably look at it and said, okay, yeah, because these uh public theories are there are always threats against their lives.
- 46:21But here with Trump, it's played out on stage.
- 46:25And when you have people on the other side that are calling for the assassination attempt, remember Maxine Waters was at an event, and she said she felt so great she could go to the White House and take Trump out tonight.
- 46:40Ugh.
- 46:41And no one said anything about it.
- 46:42They just laughed.
- 46:43Oh, Auntie Max, you had a commentator on CNN said that the only way to stop Trump is a bullet to the head.
- 46:51They said absolutely nothing about it.
- 46:55Really?
- 46:56This rhetoric has been happening since 2016.
- 47:01And now it's being played out.
- 47:03People are actually coming out of the woodworks.
- 47:05Remember during Trump's first term on Wall Street, I mean not Wall Street, but on uh Broadway, they did a play.
- 47:13Julius Caesar, and they had a character dressed like right.
- 47:17And they everyone thought, oh, okay, it's just a play, no big deal.
- 47:22But had they done it to Barack Obama, with the Black Lives Matter and everyone else protesting in the streets, saying this is racism.
- 47:30But with Trump, it's okay, these judges, oh, there's no credible threat.
- 47:34These judges are activist judges, and they need to be called out.
- 47:38That is the reason why we have so much havoc on our streets because of these activist judges that don't like Trump.
- 47:47Why?
- 47:48Because he wants to make America great again.
- 47:50You look, you have Biden talking about he ran, he said that he decided to run for the presidency after Trump gave that speech, that there were good people on both sides.
- 48:02But that's not what he wasn't talking about.
- 48:05He made very clearly he wasn't talking about white supremacists or the KKK, he was talking about historic preservationists.
- 48:13Well, Heather, you know what?
- 48:15As always, here on After Dark, we like to come with the receipts.
- 48:20So for all of you who've never heard the entire tape, take out your phones.
- 48:26I'm gonna play it for you.
- 48:28What he said.
- 48:29Run the tape.
- 48:31You also had people that were very fine people on both sides.
- 48:36And you had people, and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.
- 48:43But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay?
- 48:49And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.
- 48:54You see that?
- 48:55Yeah.
- 48:55That's what he said.
- 48:57But the media hardly ever runs the entire tape.
- 49:00Entire tape.
- 49:01You know, to be honest with you, Heather, let me just share this with you.
- 49:02To be honest with you, Heather.
- 49:04Let me just share this with you.
- 49:05When this first happened, and I heard it, I thought, what did he say?
- 49:05When this first happened, and I heard it, I thought, what did he say?
- 49:10I'm like, wait a minute, surely not.
- 49:10I'm like, wait a minute, surely not.
- 49:12Because they only played the first half.
- 49:12Because they only played the first half.
- 49:16But I knew this president.
- 49:16But I knew this president.
- 49:17I'm like, no, he wouldn't say anything like that.
- 49:17I'm like, no, he wouldn't say anything like that.
- 49:19So I did my research.
- 49:19So I did my research, and I heard the entire tape.
- 49:23And I heard the entire tape.
- 49:26But see, that's what the media is counting on.
- 49:26But see, that's what the media is counting on.
- 49:29They're counting.
- 49:29They're counting on us or people not hearing the entire facts.
- 49:37They're hoping that you don't hear the entire facts.
- 49:39And this is what he means when he says they're dishonest.
- 49:42They, you know, they manipulate.
- 49:44I don't think it's as much out and out hate speech on the part of the media as it is in a way something worse.
- 49:51It's an insidious, sneaky effort to position things.
- 49:56You know, it's like a smear.
- 49:57It's like how you, you know, you take half truths and you cherry pick things to make somebody out to seem, you know.
- 50:09I mean, that's what they did.
- 50:10It was aggressive false propaganda, that coverage of Charlottesville.
- 50:14And the, you know, the presser was he was very clear that he was not referring to the the white supremacists and neo-Nazi elements who were there.
- 50:26He was talking about people who were there who my understanding is that they were there were some people there who wanted to keep their monuments, you know, and I I guess to many people, understandably, it's upsetting that there are people who were part of the Confederacy who are there are monuments too in some parts of the South.
- 50:50I do I do understand how that would be upsetting to some people.
- 50:55I don't particularly want to see, you know, monuments to Confederate people.
- 50:59I mean, they they don't mean anything to me, but they're part of history, I guess, and they were part of the history of that town.
- 51:09And there are, listen, there are people who collect German uh World War II memorabilia.
- 51:16I don't like it.
- 51:17I mean, I I had an ex who I actually asked him to get rid of some of his stuff, and he did get rid of some of it, but not all of it.
- 51:26I mean, you know, I wouldn't want to see Nazi uh paraphernalia in somebody's house who I was close to.
- 51:34But I mean, there are people who supposedly collect that stuff, not because they're Nazis, but because it's part of history, and you know, I guess if you have to take a broad-minded perspective, it's possible that some of those people who were there are not people who celebrate slavery, they just felt this was a monument that was a part of what went on there, and they wanted to preserve the monuments, some of them, and that's something that I guess for many people, many of us who, you know, it's hard for us to understand, but it may be that it's part of the local culture there, and that it isn't the same thing as saying that the Confederacy was right.
- 52:26I mean, I don't know.
- 52:27What do you think, Rob?
- 52:30I think that is was blown out of proportion.
- 52:34The media knew that this was very sensitive at the time.
- 52:40They were trying to frame Trump as being a racist.
- 52:44So this was the perfect opportunity for them to do it.
- 52:50They saw it and they took advantage of it.
- 52:53As I said, when I first heard it, I'm like, wait a minute, what did I hear?
- 52:56You had people, you had black journalists on TV crying, saying, I can't believe this.
- 53:01This is my country, too.
- 53:02And I'm like, wait a minute.
- 53:04Let's listen to the whole tape.
- 53:07Even a banca came out and said, you know, we denounced white supremacy.
- 53:12We and I'm thinking, wait a minute, what is going on here?
- 53:15Because people did it, they believed the media.
- 53:19They believed what they said, thinking that we could trust them.
- 53:24Yeah.
- 53:24Only to find out that it was a lie.
- 53:27And eight years, 10 years later, that lie is still being pushed to this day, and I keep trying to correct people.
- 53:36And I even say, don't take my word for it.
- 53:39Go to YouTube and listen to it for yourself when they do this, like, oh, oh, yeah, but there's always a but, but maybe, but I'm like, no.
- 53:48There's your evidence right there.
- 53:50Now, as far as individuals collecting memorabilia, I'm from the South.
- 53:56Okay.
- 53:56And a lot of people like the flag, the Confederate flag.
- 54:02How do you feel as a black American about it?
- 54:04I see the flag that it does not bother me at all.
- 54:07It has never, it has never bothered me.
- 54:10I would see it and think nothing of it.
- 54:12But you know what would happen?
- 54:14Someone would say, Oh, look at that flag.
- 54:16I'm like, what about it?
- 54:17That's a racist flag.
- 54:18I'm like, it is.
- 54:19Why?
- 54:19This is when I was a kid.
- 54:21Well, because they want you in slavery.
- 54:23I'm like, what?
- 54:25You see, people will feed things into your mind, getting you to think.
- 54:29There are some blacks who would drive around with it in their car, their trucks.
- 54:33Yes.
- 54:34There are some blacks who would drive with guns in the back of their truck.
- 54:36They would say, Oh no, that's a racist.
- 54:38I'm like, but my uncle have guns in the back of the truck.
- 54:41Because there would be like a gun holder, and was popular then.
- 54:45But see, people would look at it.
- 54:47And where Rob, this was Arkansas, right?
- 54:49Where you and Arkansas.
- 54:50And Arkansas.
- 54:51So when I would see it, I never thought anything.
- 54:54Now, maybe the person who had it, maybe they had racist intentions.
- 54:58I never saw it that way.
- 55:01And you don't unless someone tells you, hey, do you know what that means?
- 55:05No, it's just a flag.
- 55:06Well, this is what it means.
- 55:08No, they're telling you what their assumption is, what they see it, what it means.
- 55:15Like member remembering other aspects, not slavery, but otherwise about it.
- 55:20Exactly.
- 55:21There are people who look at it and say, you know, I'm from the South, I'm a proud Southerner.
- 55:25That's it.
- 55:25But it does have a negative connotation because people will view it and say, Yeah, but the Confederates, they wanted to keep the slave.
- 55:31They wanted to keep the slaves.
- 55:32Well, they did.
- 55:33They did.
- 55:34And they did.
- 55:34And they did.
- 55:35Okay.
- 55:36And that is ugly.
- 55:37They were wrong.
- 55:38And they they, you know, God knows they got their comeuppance to be sure.
- 55:43They're 100%.
- 55:44But for us to dwell on it and to keep it going, like you said, the symbols, as if that we want to sanitize history.
- 55:52History is ugly.
- 55:54History is dirty.
- 55:55But we have to speak the truth.
- 55:57We have to have it all out there.
- 56:00Out there, and we can't do half of it and then take some of it away.
- 56:00And we can't do half of it and then take some of it away.
- 56:04Just like the Democrats, they wanted slavery.
- 56:04Just like the Democrats, they wanted slavery, they wanted to keep it going.
- 56:06They wanted to keep it going.
- 56:08They did not want the Civil Rights Act passed.
- 56:08They did not want the Civil Rights Act passed.
- 56:11Johnson passed it.
- 56:11Johnson passed it, and to them, they're like, oh, well, Johnson did it.
- 56:12And to them, they're like, oh, well, Johnson did it.
- 56:14But many of you Democrats did not want it.
- 56:14But many of you Democrats did not want it.
- 56:17It took the Republicans to say, no, we're going to pass it.
- 56:17It took the Republicans to say, no, we're going to pass it.
- 56:20And we see this time and time again.
- 56:20And we see this time and time again.
- 56:23But they want to change history and they want to come up as being the good guys.
- 56:23But they want to change history.
- 56:25And they want to come up with being the good guys.
- 56:27Guys, guess what?
- 56:27Guys, guess what?
- 56:27We're all out of time.
- 56:27We're all out of time.
- 56:28I have enjoyed this conversation.
- 56:28I have enjoyed this conversation.
- 56:32Lincoln was a Republican.
- 56:34There is more to come.
- 56:36Yes, he was.
- 56:38A lot of things in history, the liberals don't want you to think about it.
- 56:41But as I said, as I said, we have to look at history both sides.
- 56:44Well, you've been listening to After Dark of the America Outlaw Talk Radio Network.
- 56:47I've been your host and my co-host tonight, Heather Robinson, a contributor of the New York Post.
- 56:51Hope you enjoyed the show.
- 56:52We hope you're tuning in again tomorrow night.
