- 0:15Speaker 1: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy

- 0:56Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Juicy Scoop.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. So much Juicy Scoop
- 1:03Speaker 2: to talk about.
- 1:04Speaker 4: I have a new guest. You might be familiar with her.
- 1:06Speaker 4: She has a huge YouTube channel. You are a former
- 1:12Speaker 4: editor-in-chief of Star Magazine, so you're always up with the
- 1:14Speaker 4: hot gossip.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Shallon Lester, welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:19Speaker 4: I've been following you for a while, so when Jacques
- 1:23Speaker 4: recommended you, I was like, oh, I know who she is.
- 1:26Speaker 4: And then we had a fun conversation on the phone
- 1:28Speaker 4: over the weekend, kind of talking about what we talked about,
- 1:30Speaker 4: but then I was.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Like, Wait, save it for the show. Save it for
- 1:32Speaker 2: the pod. Save it. So welcome.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Thank you so much for having me. Yeah, we were
- 1:37Speaker 3: on a good Yap Fest this weekend. I was like,
- 1:39Speaker 3: we got to save the magic for the show.
- 1:40Speaker 4: And then when you're like, we could be friends because
- 1:43Speaker 4: we both, so you have, you favor a side of
- 1:45Speaker 4: your face.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Yes, my left side is my good side. Yours is
- 1:48Speaker 3: your right. This means we can be friends.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So this studio that we have that we're using right
- 1:54Speaker 4: now with the couches is favoring my good side. Have
- 1:58Speaker 4: you ever had the kind of horror that I've had
- 2:02Speaker 4: when you've walked in to do someone else's show, whether
- 2:04Speaker 4: it's TV or YouTube or whatever, and you are not
- 2:09Speaker 4: on the good side because that's the side of the
- 2:11Speaker 4: host and you just know you're going to hate it?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. I look like a shoe from the
- 2:15Speaker 3: other side. Like there are no photos of the side
- 2:17Speaker 3: of my face. I'm like the Phantom of the Opera.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And I have walked in. I've been like, why are
- 2:21Speaker 3: you doing this to me? Like my agent should have
- 2:22Speaker 3: told me. Somebody should have warned me. And then I
- 2:24Speaker 3: just want to like sit completely the opposite way and
- 2:27Speaker 3: just like face the wall.
- 2:29Speaker 4: And what is weird is that to someone that doesn't
- 2:32Speaker 4: live in your face, they don't know what you're talking about.
- 2:35Speaker 1: No.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Why you favor one side so much. But in my
- 2:41Speaker 4: particular case, when I have been shot from the other side,
- 2:45Speaker 4: people are like, she looks like shit.
- 2:47Speaker 2: They do say it. They say it in the comments.
- 2:49Speaker 2: They're like, what the fuck happened to her? And I'm like,
- 2:51Speaker 2: I've been controlling the camera for years. That's how it's been.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I've been controlling the camera.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yes, I know. I agree. I think that people act
- 3:00Speaker 3: like they don't see the shoe on the other side.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I'm like, I know that you do. I know that
- 3:05Speaker 3: you do. Don't gaslight me.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Okay, we have so much to discuss, but an exciting
- 3:10Speaker 4: thing happened over the weekend.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I feel it's exciting. Because Joe Rogan, who is.
- 3:17Speaker 4: The king of podcasting, who I have often said, you know,
- 3:22Speaker 4: Joe Rogan has made it possible for all of us.
- 3:25Speaker 4: And by really putting podcasting on the map, of course,
- 3:29Speaker 4: some people don't like a.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Show, don't like him, whatever. He's the biggest one that
- 3:34Speaker 2: has it.
- 3:35Speaker 4: I knew him from back in the day of doing
- 3:37Speaker 4: stand up at the comedy store. But it's not like
- 3:40Speaker 4: we run in circles, been friends. I've never been on
- 3:41Speaker 4: a show. But he has talked about this incident that
- 3:45Speaker 4: happened to me a couple of years ago when I
- 3:49Speaker 4: fainted at the Tempe Improv right at the beginning of
- 3:52Speaker 4: my set on the Saturday night of a two night show.
- 3:57Speaker 4: So I'd already done two shows on Friday. Saturday came
- 4:00Speaker 4: out and and did it.
- 4:02Speaker 2: And so. And so I'm.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Going to play what he said so you can hear it.
- 4:07Speaker 4: And it was the top of his, like, three-hour podcast
- 4:10Speaker 4: that he dropped on Saturday. So a lot of people
- 4:12Speaker 4: let me know about it. And it is interesting, and
- 4:17Speaker 4: I have actual new thoughts. Even though I've talked about
- 4:19Speaker 4: this a few times, I've shared my thoughts on stage.
- 4:22Speaker 4: I'm going to let you hear what he says.
- 4:25Speaker 5: When this girl, Heather MacDonald, blacked out on stage while
- 4:28Speaker 5: she was making jokes about being vaccinated... And then she
- 4:31Speaker 5: blacks out and cracks her skull. Have you seen that?
- 4:34Speaker 6: Yes.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Legitimately.
- 4:36Speaker 5: It was the first time in my life where I
- 4:37Speaker 5: was like, there's no way. I was like, they're fucking
- 4:40Speaker 5: with us.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 5: They're just fucking with us. That can't be so dead on.
- 4:45Speaker 5: This is like God is a script writer. Like, how
- 4:50Speaker 5: is that a real thing? That that's a video where
- 4:53Speaker 5: someone is, she didn't do it when she was making
- 4:55Speaker 5: fun of her boyfriend. She didn't do it when she
- 4:57Speaker 5: was talking about idiots in traffic. It was when she
- 5:00Speaker 5: was talking about the vaccine. and how, you know, I
- 5:06Speaker 5: even still got my period, so Jesus loves me more,
- 5:08Speaker 5: and then boom. Like, there's no way, it's too good.
- 5:12Speaker 5: The timing was exquisite. You couldn't have, if you had
- 5:18Speaker 5: a movie where that was a scene, you could not
- 5:21Speaker 5: have scripted or timed it any better, where you would
- 5:24Speaker 5: tell her, and drop.
- 5:27Speaker 2: There's no way.
- 5:30Speaker 5: I started legitimately wondering then. And I know that's a
- 5:33Speaker 5: stupid example. I'm very aware of it. You're like, you
- 5:35Speaker 5: fucking moron. All the things in the world, there's plenty
- 5:37Speaker 5: of examples. Jesus loves me the most.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Look at this.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Oh my God, you went down.
- 5:47Speaker 5: And the audience is laughing. Probably the best laugh she.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Got all night. It's a big move.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It's a big move.
- 5:52Speaker 5: If you're a pratfall person, no one expects it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Like, ah, that's hilarious.
- 5:56Speaker 5: If it goes with the bit, You know?
- 5:58Speaker 2: And it's timed perfectly.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 6:00Speaker 5: What's that quote?
- 6:01Speaker 1: God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid
- 6:03Speaker 1: to laugh.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And he was like, wow, I've never heard that. That's amazing.
- 6:08Speaker 4: So I was like, God, I mean, listen, for the
- 6:13Speaker 4: people that have been following you forever and, you know,
- 6:17Speaker 4: but the way this business is, you can be quite
- 6:20Speaker 4: successful as a podcaster, as a YouTuber forever. And the
- 6:24Speaker 4: average Joe walking down the street doesn't know who you
- 6:27Speaker 4: are and doesn't follow you.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And especially when.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Comedy is, you know, you like who you like because
- 6:33Speaker 4: you watch a person and you're like, they're relatable to me.
- 6:35Speaker 4: So is the majority of my audience women?
- 6:38Speaker 6: Yes.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Probably Joe Rogan's audience does not go, I got to
- 6:43Speaker 4: listen to Juicy Scoop, I love Heather McDonald, whatever. There's some,
- 6:47Speaker 4: I'm sure, that have a wife that, yes, I'm getting
- 6:49Speaker 4: more like husbands and stuff coming because they.
- 6:52Speaker 2: They're wise listening.
- 6:53Speaker 4: They're like, oh, I like what you say, which is
- 6:54Speaker 4: always like bugs me because that means more to me
- 6:57Speaker 4: that like a straight man thinks I'm funny.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I'm like, really?
- 7:00Speaker 3: No, we're all just pick me's at the end of
- 7:02Speaker 3: the day. You know, we have our little pick me areas.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:04Speaker 4: So anyway, I appreciate that he, you know, but I
- 7:09Speaker 4: feel like he doesn't really know where I am in
- 7:11Speaker 4: life because he's like, she.
- 7:13Speaker 2: It's not about her boyfriend. But I also like.
- 7:15Speaker 4: To think that you think I'm so young to have
- 7:17Speaker 4: a boyfriend when I've been married 25 years.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Yeah, first thing he said is this girl. I was like, what?
- 7:21Speaker 2: I know, this girl and not about her boyfriend.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I'm like, maybe he doesn't remember that we talked a
- 7:26Speaker 4: few times a million years ago at the comedy store.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I don't know. But, you know, he's talked about this
- 7:33Speaker 2: a lot because.
- 7:33Speaker 4: It really did make an impression on him of like,
- 7:36Speaker 4: what the fuck is going on with the matrix with simulate,
- 7:39Speaker 4: whatever is God.
- 7:41Speaker 2: And when I did.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Fade, which I'll just say quickly again, um, I had
- 7:47Speaker 4: lunch with my son who was at ASU at the time.
- 7:51Speaker 4: He's still there, but he was a freshman or sophomore
- 7:53Speaker 4: at the time. And we went shopping at Nordstrom's and
- 7:55Speaker 4: we had lunch at like 2.30. And so I just
- 7:58Speaker 4: want to say it wasn't because I didn't eat. It
- 8:01Speaker 4: was February, so it wasn't like it was so hot
- 8:03Speaker 4: that I passed out because I was hiking in the
- 8:07Speaker 4: Phoenix mountains.
- 8:08Speaker 2: And it was, so that was all really weird. Um,
- 8:13Speaker 2: I had never fainted before. What were you going to say?
- 8:15Speaker 3: People who might not know comedy and like what it
- 8:17Speaker 3: takes because it's like the most terrifying thing people can imagine.
- 8:20Speaker 3: It's like the number one fear of Americans. It is
- 8:22Speaker 3: not so strenuous that if you do it three days
- 8:24Speaker 3: in a row, you will faint.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:25Speaker 3: You know, it's not like she ran three marathons in
- 8:27Speaker 3: a row and this is just what's going to happen.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Like you don't need to faint. You were at Nordstrom's
- 8:32Speaker 3: before that.
- 8:32Speaker 4: And I wasn't, you know, this is my crowd that
- 8:35Speaker 4: paid attention. It's not like it was my audition to
- 8:39Speaker 4: be the star of the Montreal Comedy Festival. And this
- 8:42Speaker 4: was 20 years ago, which I would get my nerves
- 8:44Speaker 4: more up about. So I was really excited, you know,
- 8:47Speaker 4: happy to do the show.
- 8:48Speaker 2: It was right at the.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Beginning of my act because it was second year of
- 8:54Speaker 4: COVID or I don't even know what season of COVID
- 8:56Speaker 4: we were in. And I had gotten all the vaccines
- 8:59Speaker 4: and I was just coming out, grabbing some low hanging fruit.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Jokes about COVID.
- 9:04Speaker 4: COVID jokes killed because everybody on the earth could relate
- 9:08Speaker 4: to a COVID joke.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Of course.
- 9:09Speaker 4: And I also want to say, yes, I got vaccinated,
- 9:13Speaker 4: but I never judged anybody who didn't. I had friends
- 9:15Speaker 4: who got the fake cards. I didn't get vaccinated. And
- 9:19Speaker 4: we can coexist and who cares? If you were honest
- 9:22Speaker 4: with me, which I had friends who were, I was like, cool.
- 9:24Speaker 4: But anyway, I did because for me, I was like,
- 9:27Speaker 4: I'd wake up after going out at night before the
- 9:30Speaker 4: vaccine and I'd be like, Can I still smell?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I have to this day never gotten COVID. So when
- 9:35Speaker 4: it happened, I woke up, I was like, oh my God,
- 9:38Speaker 4: what happened? I was, you know, in shock, whatever. And
- 9:40Speaker 4: I talk about it on stage. It's kind of like
- 9:42Speaker 4: a longer, funny story. But I did not think until later, like, wow,
- 9:48Speaker 4: it came after this joke that I said about that.
- 9:50Speaker 4: I was just more like, what is this? And right
- 9:52Speaker 4: off the bat, Dr. Drew, who we've been friends with
- 9:55Speaker 4: for a while, saw it online because we all follow
- 9:58Speaker 4: each other.
- 9:59Speaker 2: He reached out to me.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Husband who was in LA and he's like when did
- 10:02Speaker 4: she get her booster because I say in the longer
- 10:06Speaker 4: video I've been double vax boosted flu shot and I
- 10:10Speaker 4: got the first shingle shot because I'm kind of old
- 10:14Speaker 4: And I go, but I still got my periods. And
- 10:16Speaker 4: I go, and I've never had COVID, so clearly Jesus
- 10:18Speaker 4: loves me the most.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yes. Not a hilarious joke. Nothing. Just getting the crowd
- 10:22Speaker 2: knowing that if they come up to me after. Yes.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I've gotten vaccinated.
- 10:27Speaker 4: You won't get it from me. You can't blame it.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I'm not patient zero.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Whatever. And so, and then I was going to get
- 10:32Speaker 2: to the juice. You don't usually start out with the
- 10:34Speaker 2: strongest joke.
- 10:35Speaker 4: So that also bothered me that people would watch the
- 10:37Speaker 4: clip and think I'm not that funny, but whatever.
- 10:39Speaker 2: No.
- 10:40Speaker 3: So then.
- 10:41Speaker 2: So then when that happened, then it was still really weird.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Nobody really wanted to talk to me about it. Or
- 10:47Speaker 4: if I was asked about it on the red carpet,
- 10:49Speaker 4: that never made the thing because it was like you
- 10:52Speaker 4: can't talk about the vaccine or any kind of stuff
- 10:55Speaker 4: about it.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Now that it's so out and open.
- 10:59Speaker 4: And watching Joe kind of analyze this, that it's made
- 11:02Speaker 4: such a weird impression on him.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Yes, I want to say I do think it's very interesting.
- 11:09Speaker 4: First of all, I do believe in God. I was
- 11:11Speaker 4: raised Catholic.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I do believe in Jesus. I do pray.
- 11:13Speaker 3: And you're a manifester because you told me on the
- 11:16Speaker 3: phone you are obsessed with fainting. And you were like,
- 11:18Speaker 3: this is where you use your manifesting juice. Well, there's two.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Things that I saw, okay?
- 11:25Speaker 4: One was I believe I did an episode with Josh
- 11:28Speaker 4: Flagg a few years ago because someone brought it up.
- 11:30Speaker 2: And I said I have a fainting fantasy.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I might have even written it in a book.
- 11:35Speaker 4: I'm not sure where, because then somebody in the comments
- 11:39Speaker 4: of his thing had a quote for me and they
- 11:42Speaker 4: said 2011. And it was like, I have a fainting
- 11:45Speaker 4: fantasy where if I faint, I don't know where they
- 11:47Speaker 4: got it. I don't know if they got it from
- 11:48Speaker 4: an episode of Chelsea lately or my book. Cause 2011,
- 11:51Speaker 4: I didn't have the podcast yet. And that I, I
- 11:55Speaker 4: was just like, yeah. And then, but also in the
- 11:58Speaker 4: writer's room, I came across papers cause I just moved
- 12:01Speaker 4: and Jen Kirkman had written, put all this funny stuff
- 12:04Speaker 4: of crazy stuff people had said in the writer's room
- 12:06Speaker 4: over the years and we printed it out and I
- 12:09Speaker 4: kept it in a file and I looked at the
- 12:11Speaker 4: paper recently and it said I have a fainting fantasy
- 12:15Speaker 4: we're all faint and it'll be in front of a
- 12:18Speaker 4: crowd and people will be like oh is she okay
- 12:20Speaker 4: and I'm like no I just forgot to eat that
- 12:22Speaker 4: day and so it's crazy that I said it at
- 12:25Speaker 4: one time not once but twice you know either on
- 12:29Speaker 4: the show or in a book or in a writer's
- 12:31Speaker 4: room or a few times And I didn't think about
- 12:33Speaker 4: that when it happened either.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I was just like, do I have some brain tumor
- 12:37Speaker 2: or something? Right, it's actually not that sexy to fake.
- 12:39Speaker 3: It's very embarrassing.
- 12:41Speaker 2: No, I didn't get paid.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Everyone got their money back. I had to come back,
- 12:44Speaker 4: redo the show. Some people came back. Some people was like,
- 12:46Speaker 4: fuck it. 90% of my audience that was there was
- 12:49Speaker 4: traumatized and lovely about it. It was kind of traumatic
- 12:54Speaker 4: for my son who witnessed it, who was there watching me.
- 12:57Speaker 4: But anyway, yeah, I do think.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I do.
- 13:04Speaker 4: And people really got mad that I said, so clearly,
- 13:06Speaker 4: clearly Jesus loves me the most. I joke because I've
- 13:09Speaker 4: also said in my act, if you've been following me
- 13:11Speaker 4: a long time, do your Christian service, you know, and
- 13:14Speaker 4: I'll joke and be like, oh, I tagged you. It's
- 13:16Speaker 4: my Christian service for the day. As someone who was,
- 13:18Speaker 4: went to Catholic school, they always are like, did you
- 13:20Speaker 4: get your Christian service out? So I like joke about it.
- 13:23Speaker 4: So it all came from that. But from People that
- 13:25Speaker 4: are very conservative, they think that I'm like mocking God
- 13:28Speaker 4: from that clip and that God like came down and
- 13:31Speaker 4: flicked me and didn't like that I was joking.
- 13:33Speaker 2: But now I feel with Joe, maybe people will be like.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Wait, maybe Jesus actually did take this opportunity or God
- 13:41Speaker 4: to get the conversation going.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Because this was a clip that was used.
- 13:47Speaker 4: It has been used by other people. I don't even
- 13:49Speaker 4: know how many times, like a hundred million times. And
- 13:51Speaker 4: I'm like, I said to my husband, I go, maybe
- 13:53Speaker 4: this should be pinned at the top of my Instagram
- 13:55Speaker 4: because I'm like, I don't think I've like utilized it enough.
- 13:59Speaker 4: And anyway, Joe Rogan, I love your show. I love
- 14:04Speaker 4: what you've done for podcasting. I love how many people
- 14:07Speaker 4: you've featured. I would love to come on and talk
- 14:10Speaker 4: about it with you. I will fly down to Austin.
- 14:13Speaker 4: I think we'd have a juicy conversation about being parents
- 14:17Speaker 4: and what our kids think of our acts and our podcasts.
- 14:19Speaker 4: There's so many things we could discuss. And so there
- 14:23Speaker 4: you go with that. But that is interesting. And every
- 14:26Speaker 4: time I think it's like done, it's kind of not
- 14:29Speaker 4: because the conversation comes up and it is poetic timing.
- 14:34Speaker 4: It is religious timing.
- 14:36Speaker 2: It is crazy that it happened right there. That moment.
- 14:41Speaker 3: And I do think you were like God's messenger or
- 14:43Speaker 3: like mother nature's messenger to start these conversations. And the
- 14:47Speaker 3: fact that, I don't know, it's, you say like some
- 14:49Speaker 3: people are conservative and that's why they were triggered. There
- 14:51Speaker 3: is just a per capita representation of just professionally triggered
- 14:56Speaker 3: people on the left, on the right, in the middle, whatever,
- 14:58Speaker 3: that they're like, They can take a joke about Judaism.
- 15:02Speaker 3: They can take a joke about, you know, left-handed people
- 15:05Speaker 3: or whatever, but you can't come for their particular corner
- 15:07Speaker 3: of the world. Suddenly they have no sense of humor.
- 15:09Speaker 4: And also it always bummed me out because I was like,
- 15:12Speaker 4: oh my God, do you know how much money I've spent?
- 15:15Speaker 4: I got married in the Catholic church. I was raised
- 15:17Speaker 4: in the Catholic church. I went to 12 years of
- 15:19Speaker 4: Catholic school. All of my kids went to Catholic school. Like,
- 15:24Speaker 4: so I'm like, for people to then write like, oh,
- 15:27Speaker 4: I'm like, some lefty libtard, you know, which is rude
- 15:31Speaker 4: to say about anybody, but like, because that I was
- 15:35Speaker 4: like saying, I got the jet, you know, I, and
- 15:37Speaker 4: then I got the vaccine and you should too.
- 15:38Speaker 2: That wasn't it at all. But you know, everyone has
- 15:42Speaker 2: a right to their opinion, but I.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Will say it has absolutely done nothing with furthering my career.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Absolutely fucking nothing.
- 15:49Speaker 3: But you don't know that. And this is the thing.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I don't think it has. I have not seen a
- 15:53Speaker 2: bump from my fate.
- 15:54Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 15:56Speaker 3: You don't know that. And this is the thing with like,
- 15:58Speaker 3: our career and cancel culture, like what seems like the
- 16:01Speaker 3: worst thing that can happen or even like a net
- 16:03Speaker 3: neutral event. It's like, all right, I fainted. I had
- 16:06Speaker 3: to give everyone's fucking money back. You just don't know
- 16:08Speaker 3: the butterfly effect it has down the line, like Joe
- 16:11Speaker 3: talking about it.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And suddenly it's a conversation again.
- 16:15Speaker 4: People are doing things now or whatever good or bad
- 16:18Speaker 4: or how you feel about it. Now, I mean, you
- 16:19Speaker 4: might be mad at me because you might not like
- 16:22Speaker 4: where we are in the vaccination world, maybe because of
- 16:24Speaker 4: my faint.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I don't know. All I know is that this happened
- 16:27Speaker 2: to me.
- 16:27Speaker 3: How is someone personally offended by you fainting? Like, are
- 16:30Speaker 3: these people on drugs? How is someone offended by your
- 16:34Speaker 3: personal life experience? And this is the thing with anyone
- 16:36Speaker 3: getting canceled and just talking about, hey, I like living here.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I didn't enjoy this. I do like this. Like, How
- 16:42Speaker 3: does that affect their life's outcomes day to day? Like,
- 16:46Speaker 3: is you fainting the reason their husband's leaving them or
- 16:48Speaker 3: the reason they've got four DUIs? Make it, like, put
- 16:51Speaker 3: these pieces together.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And then I just want to say that happened on
- 16:54Speaker 2: a Saturday. I flew home on Saturday. a Sunday, I think,
- 16:59Speaker 2: or a Monday, but I put out the show on Tuesday.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I got into my studio. I wore sunglasses. I told
- 17:06Speaker 2: the story.
- 17:07Speaker 4: I got there because I was like, I do not
- 17:09Speaker 4: want people because my job and my livelihood that supports
- 17:13Speaker 4: my company, my family, everything that my husband and I've
- 17:15Speaker 4: worked for is me being cognitive.
- 17:18Speaker 2: So I literally got and was like, I don't know
- 17:20Speaker 2: why this happened. I don't have something wrong with me.
- 17:23Speaker 4: And then I had awful other podcasters that were my
- 17:27Speaker 4: friends at one time then went on their show to
- 17:30Speaker 4: say maybe she has brain damage maybe that's what's wrong
- 17:32Speaker 4: with her oh maybe maybe you have brain damage jeff
- 17:36Speaker 4: lewis said that on serious radio and of course no
- 17:38Speaker 4: one will ever serious nobody he's never apologized nothing but
- 17:42Speaker 4: i'm just saying that's what i then had to fight
- 17:44Speaker 4: against so thank god It didn't have lasting effect on
- 17:49Speaker 4: my career, though someone was trying to make it look
- 17:51Speaker 4: like I was mentally or physically not okay.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Nothing's happened since. I did recover.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Nobody really knows why that happened. And people could argue
- 18:03Speaker 4: it could be you never know what it is. And,
- 18:05Speaker 4: you know, it doesn't necessarily mean there's a correlation. But
- 18:08Speaker 4: do I now think, yeah, I do think I add it.
- 18:13Speaker 4: significantly to the conversation.
- 18:15Speaker 3: You absolutely did. And it's these things that at the
- 18:17Speaker 3: time seemed so random or insignificant or planned or whatever
- 18:22Speaker 3: that turned out to be so much more significant and
- 18:25Speaker 3: a jumping off point for a larger conversation.
- 18:27Speaker 1: One reward.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Endless choice. Skip the hassle. Reward the easy way.
- 18:55Speaker 6: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 18:58Speaker 6: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 19:01Speaker 6: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 19:05Speaker 6: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 19:14Speaker 1: filed against me.
- 19:14Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 19:17Speaker 2: what would you.
- 19:17Speaker 6: Do if it was given back? Where did that need
- 19:20Speaker 6: come from where you thought that you had to succeed
- 19:23Speaker 6: in order to feel loved?
- 19:24Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad.
- 19:26Speaker 6: I need a home dad.
- 19:27Speaker 3: What happens next?
- 19:28Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 19:32Speaker 6: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 19:35Speaker 6: go through.
- 19:36Speaker 3: It's about what happens next. I decided to risk it all.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 19:41Speaker 3: You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm not going to
- 19:43Speaker 3: pull punches. You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 19:46Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 19:50Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 20:00Speaker 4: So let's get a little bit about, you know, that
- 20:03Speaker 4: you worked in with Star Magazine with the tabloids and
- 20:06Speaker 4: all of that. And then what happened between leaving that,
- 20:10Speaker 4: starting your own YouTube, and then you even had a
- 20:13Speaker 4: moment of cancellation.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Oh, I had a big moment.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Why don't you tell us about that?
- 20:17Speaker 3: I was with Star Magazine until 2019. I got laid off,
- 20:20Speaker 3: and I'd had my YouTube channel.
- 20:22Speaker 4: And did you get laid off because just people were
- 20:24Speaker 4: not buying physical magazines anymore?
- 20:25Speaker 2: Was that a big layoff?
- 20:27Speaker 3: I had survived in seven years of that company 14
- 20:29Speaker 3: rounds of layoffs because it's poorly run. They don't listen
- 20:33Speaker 3: to their audience. They don't follow a narrative with the
- 20:37Speaker 3: celebrities that they write about. It's like one week Kate
- 20:40Speaker 3: Middleton's anorexic, the next she's pregnant with triplets. I'm like,
- 20:42Speaker 3: just pick a fucking storyline and take it through a
- 20:44Speaker 3: whole season, right? Stop switching up the characters. If this
- 20:47Speaker 3: is what you believe, follow it out. So I think
- 20:50Speaker 3: I was also just getting a little bit uppity over there.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I was encouraging people, take your full lunch break. you
- 20:54Speaker 3: don't need to check your emails on the weekends. You know,
- 20:56Speaker 3: I was kind of that Martha Ray person. So I
- 20:59Speaker 3: think finally the hatchet swung to me and it was,
- 21:01Speaker 3: it was like a fainting on stage at the time.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I'm like, why is this happening? This is terrible. But
- 21:06Speaker 3: I was able to put my energy full time towards
- 21:08Speaker 3: YouTube and it took off. And yeah, I was blowing
- 21:12Speaker 3: up as a YouTuber until lockdown until quarantine when I
- 21:15Speaker 3: got canceled, when everyone was coming for the sassy white
- 21:19Speaker 3: chicks on the internet.
- 21:20Speaker 2: What happened?
- 21:21Speaker 3: Well, um, creators are like, we're going after her. We're
- 21:25Speaker 3: going to find things on her. And the things they
- 21:27Speaker 3: found were things I had said in my YouTube videos
- 21:30Speaker 3: that I edited and put on the internet on purpose recently.
- 21:33Speaker 3: It wasn't like the smoking gun, the big smoking gun
- 21:36Speaker 3: was a tweet 10 years prior to that saying I
- 21:38Speaker 3: had a sex dream about Justin Bieber. So they declared
- 21:41Speaker 3: that I was a pedophile, posted my address on Twitter,
- 21:45Speaker 3: which is, it trended number three, Sean Mendez DM to me.
- 21:48Speaker 3: He's like, I've never heard of you I don't know
- 21:51Speaker 3: why this is happening to you I'm so sorry this
- 21:53Speaker 3: is crazy I was like Sean I just hope it
- 21:55Speaker 3: never happens to you and three days later people canceled.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Him what did he get canceled for like.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Nothing he's like I like sushi and they're like racist
- 22:03Speaker 3: like nothing like nothing Sean.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Is the most it was just a crazy time because
- 22:07Speaker 4: people were bored and at home and angry and but
- 22:11Speaker 4: yeah okay so so um I want to just interrupt
- 22:14Speaker 4: for one second because I will say and I've said
- 22:17Speaker 4: this too So when Justin Bieber was just first coming up,
- 22:21Speaker 4: I was working on Chelsea Lately, and he was this
- 22:23Speaker 4: cute little adorable boy, right? And I think he was
- 22:27Speaker 4: maybe 14 when he came on the show. And we're
- 22:30Speaker 4: always coming up with bits. And this was like 15
- 22:34Speaker 4: years ago. And myself, I think Sarah Colonna and Jen Kirkman,
- 22:39Speaker 4: who's the one who wrote the notes of saying, I
- 22:42Speaker 4: have a fainting fantasy. We dressed in like sexy outfits
- 22:47Speaker 4: and he was in the green room and we were like, Hey,
- 22:51Speaker 4: and we joked about it after like a few years later, like, ew,
- 22:56Speaker 4: that was like so wrong and inappropriate.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Like he was like a kid. He went along with it.
- 23:00Speaker 2: He was super professional.
- 23:02Speaker 4: And then he gets sits down and like flirts with
- 23:05Speaker 4: Chelsea where Chelsea was not flirting back, which good for
- 23:08Speaker 4: her that she wasn't. And, um, but that was just,
- 23:12Speaker 4: it was just like a thing.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It's a joke.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It's a joke.
- 23:15Speaker 2: It was a thing. And, but people were, you know,
- 23:18Speaker 2: pointing at that. So I, okay. So then that comes out.
- 23:21Speaker 4: So then what's the, the, the fallout of this people
- 23:24Speaker 4: discovering the tweet about your dream?
- 23:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 3: And I did not apologize. I'm not an apologizer. And
- 23:30Speaker 3: I saw how many people who were getting canceled had
- 23:32Speaker 3: these like groveling, pathetic apologies. And it just was more
- 23:35Speaker 3: chum in the water. It just made people go after
- 23:37Speaker 3: them harder because, And I was like, if you don't
- 23:39Speaker 3: like me, fuck you. Don't watch.
- 23:40Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 23:41Speaker 3: I'm not sorry for anything I've ever said or done.
- 23:43Speaker 3: If you don't like it, don't watch. You're not even
- 23:45Speaker 3: paying to be here on my YouTube channel. You're like
- 23:47Speaker 3: eating the samples at Costco and then kicking over the stand.
- 23:51Speaker 2: It's like, leave. What are you doing?
- 23:54Speaker 3: So that people didn't like that. I'm glad that I
- 23:57Speaker 3: didn't apologize. I was kind of one of the first people,
- 24:00Speaker 3: certainly the first one of the first women to get
- 24:02Speaker 3: canceled to be like, go fuck yourself. Like, I don't care.
- 24:05Speaker 3: It's not going to make this better. And it did not.
- 24:09Speaker 3: So my, yeah, my address was trending.
- 24:11Speaker 2: And that's when you were in New York.
- 24:13Speaker 3: I was in, I was in Southern California with my
- 24:15Speaker 3: mom locked down, but I was living in New York.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I'd gotten stuck out here. And I had to call
- 24:20Speaker 3: the FBI cause I'm like, I don't know what to do.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Like there's death threats. I don't know. I don't know
- 24:25Speaker 3: what to do like this. This career we're on, and
- 24:27Speaker 3: especially cancellation, it's a frontier. And there's no rules.
- 24:30Speaker 4: So when people talk about death threats, because I told
- 24:33Speaker 4: you on the phone, I go, I have been a
- 24:35Speaker 4: little bit like, all right, let's not be overly dramatic.
- 24:38Speaker 4: What were yours that brought enough concern that it wasn't
- 24:41Speaker 4: just a comment like, you should die, you're gross? Like
- 24:44Speaker 4: how severe was it? Was it one particular person that
- 24:48Speaker 4: kept writing you or what was it?
- 24:49Speaker 3: I was trying not to look at it because it
- 24:51Speaker 3: was so awful, but I was having like my team
- 24:54Speaker 3: look at it and they're like, it seems like people
- 24:56Speaker 3: are making plans and coordinating things. Like it seemed like
- 24:59Speaker 3: it was taking on more of a life of its own.
- 25:01Speaker 3: So yeah, I called the FBI, went in there several times.
- 25:05Speaker 3: They assessed the threats and they're like, listen, there's not 30,000
- 25:09Speaker 3: viable threats, but there's enough. And so you need to move.
- 25:11Speaker 3: You got to Get out of your mother's house immediately.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Go get your stuff from New York. Never go back.
- 25:17Speaker 3: And go someplace, number one, where you can have a
- 25:19Speaker 3: lot of guns and where no one can really find you.
- 25:21Speaker 3: So I was going to move to Hawaii, but you
- 25:23Speaker 3: can't really have a lot of guns there.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Why do you need a lot? Why don't you just
- 25:26Speaker 2: have one? Because it's much.
- 25:28Speaker 3: More fun to have a lot. I mean, you want
- 25:29Speaker 3: one in your car. You want one in your house, nightstand.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I grew up in a house.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Where my dad was a former combat marine in World
- 25:37Speaker 4: War II.
- 25:38Speaker 2: However, he was very much for gun control. Of course.
- 25:41Speaker 4: He was very much for gun control, and he would
- 25:43Speaker 4: tell me, and he would write checks to support gun control,
- 25:48Speaker 4: and he'd write a check, and he would say, this
- 25:51Speaker 4: will do no good because they have so much power.
- 25:55Speaker 4: He's like, but we will never have a gun in
- 25:57Speaker 4: this house because he was knowledgeable enough about himself and
- 26:04Speaker 4: I have a brother that I that he knew it
- 26:09Speaker 4: might have issues so we he we never were taught
- 26:13Speaker 4: how to use a gun he was never taught how
- 26:14Speaker 4: to use a gun he never got in trouble with
- 26:16Speaker 4: a gun in his life he sent past but I
- 26:19Speaker 4: always thought I I love that my dad saw that
- 26:23Speaker 4: about himself about his child and and knew that we
- 26:26Speaker 4: were never going to have one in the house. And
- 26:29Speaker 4: I wish more parents would do that. I believe everyone
- 26:31Speaker 4: can have the right to do that. But if you
- 26:33Speaker 4: feel that you're in a situation where it might not,
- 26:37Speaker 4: where it could be used for the wrong thing, you know, like,
- 26:39Speaker 4: and I know this is a very touchy subject for
- 26:43Speaker 4: the show, but I don't, again, I don't care. Cause
- 26:44Speaker 4: I've never really said how I feel on it. I
- 26:46Speaker 4: get it. Like I get it. And I respect people
- 26:48Speaker 4: that were raised with it, know how to use it, whatever.
- 26:51Speaker 4: It's very touchy. This is touchy. And I apologize to
- 26:55Speaker 4: anyone that's like triggered by this conversation.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Maybe we have to cut it out. I'm not sure.
- 26:59Speaker 3: It is time that we bring these conversations that everyone
- 27:01Speaker 3: is having in private at brunch with their friends into
- 27:05Speaker 3: the public. Like we have to stop being so afraid
- 27:07Speaker 3: of triggering people who are literally only looking to get triggered.
- 27:11Speaker 2: So anyway, you moved to a place where you could
- 27:13Speaker 2: have that.
- 27:14Speaker 6: I did.
- 27:14Speaker 2: And good for you.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I moved to Montana.
- 27:15Speaker 2: And you know how to use them. Yeah, I do.
- 27:17Speaker 6: Yes.
- 27:18Speaker 3: And I'm very in favor of gun. I mean, put
- 27:20Speaker 3: any roadblock you want in front of me in a gun,
- 27:22Speaker 3: a psyche valve, taxes, a waiting period.
- 27:24Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 27:25Speaker 3: That's fine. We can pass them all. I'll pass them all.
- 27:28Speaker 3: And everybody I know in Montana, almost everyone has a
- 27:30Speaker 3: gun and everyone else is in favor of this. They're like, yeah, like,
- 27:33Speaker 3: let's make it hard. Let's have classes like no one's
- 27:35Speaker 3: like boom, boom, boom, boom. Just like root and toot
- 27:38Speaker 3: and wild west.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 3: People are much more.
- 27:40Speaker 2: But it's a hard conversation when you're in this.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Entertainment world and there's been one way to think and
- 27:46Speaker 4: all of that so let's just get back to now
- 27:50Speaker 4: so then you started living there doing your stuff there
- 27:52Speaker 4: yeah and you feel good i love.
- 27:54Speaker 3: It i love the country okay yeah i split my
- 27:56Speaker 3: time between um orange county and montana and it's fantastic
- 28:00Speaker 3: and jock and i are working on tv show actually
- 28:01Speaker 3: so we might get a reality show going in uh in.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Montana i know i love that so now let's talk
- 28:07Speaker 4: about justin bieber a I have talked about the online
- 28:15Speaker 4: videos of how she was always around him and Selena.
- 28:19Speaker 4: And was she kind of stalking him?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Was she a super fan?
- 28:23Speaker 4: Or was she just a child of another Hollywood person
- 28:26Speaker 4: and she was a fan and all of that? But
- 28:28Speaker 4: they've since been married quite a while. They both are
- 28:32Speaker 4: devout Christians and they have a child.
- 28:35Speaker 2: But... He has not been looking healthy.
- 28:38Speaker 4: He did a very weird 13-minute live, which is very
- 28:42Speaker 4: strange when a big star like that is just like,
- 28:44Speaker 4: you know what I think I'm going to do tonight?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Go live.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Go live and reveal everything. And at one point he.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Showed a photo of the baby not wearing any clothes,
- 28:54Speaker 4: which has since been taken down, but that was there.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Answering questions, whatnot.
- 29:01Speaker 4: And then it was reported through people that Haley had
- 29:05Speaker 4: stopped following him. Now TMZ says, no, that's not true.
- 29:08Speaker 4: She didn't unfollow him. It's part of, this is what
- 29:11Speaker 4: TMZ is saying, just hasn't unfollowed him. It was just
- 29:14Speaker 4: a Instagram glitch.
- 29:16Speaker 2: What?
- 29:17Speaker 4: I don't know what's happening here, but there's something happening
- 29:20Speaker 4: with Justin, I believe.
- 29:23Speaker 3: I believe that there is too. I've heard that it's
- 29:25Speaker 3: kind of involved in the Diddy things that are coming up.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Like he might be deposed or there might be information
- 29:33Speaker 2: about him.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Yes, that this is like skeletons he would rather, not
- 29:37Speaker 3: of his guilt, but he was maybe caught up in
- 29:40Speaker 3: traumatized in Diddy's disgusting saga. And he doesn't look great.
- 29:45Speaker 3: He doesn't look great.
- 29:46Speaker 2: And then some people are like, he's older and he's
- 29:49Speaker 2: a dad. I'm like, I don't think he's up all
- 29:51Speaker 2: night breastfeeding. I don't think that's why he looks tired.
- 29:54Speaker 1: No.
- 29:55Speaker 3: And you can find him at any gas station in Tampa.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't look great.
- 30:00Speaker 6: No.
- 30:01Speaker 2: And I don't know. It was strange.
- 30:03Speaker 4: And then speaking of which, I just saw an ad
- 30:07Speaker 4: for a TMZ show where they are doing the defense
- 30:11Speaker 4: of Diddy, where they're having like a mock defense team
- 30:16Speaker 4: do it and a mock jury who are going to
- 30:19Speaker 4: weigh in on if they, will this mock jury think
- 30:23Speaker 4: that he's innocent or not? Obviously the whole defense of
- 30:26Speaker 4: Diddy is, People have threesomes. People have orgies. These were
- 30:31Speaker 4: consensual adults and consensual sex workers. They weren't being trafficked.
- 30:35Speaker 4: They wanted to be there. They were being paid or not.
- 30:38Speaker 4: And that's the bulk of the defense. And so I
- 30:42Speaker 4: don't know how it's going to turn out, but it
- 30:44Speaker 4: reminds me of when I think it was Geraldo that
- 30:48Speaker 4: did the grand jury or the trial of Jean Benet
- 30:54Speaker 4: and if her parents would be convicted or really the mom.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Would the mom be convicted of murder or not? And
- 31:00Speaker 4: when I saw that documentary, they showed an old interview
- 31:04Speaker 4: of the mom who since died of Jean Benet who
- 31:07Speaker 4: was like, imagine I'm a housewife watching daytime TV. Still
- 31:12Speaker 4: mourning my mother's death. Whether you believe she did it
- 31:15Speaker 4: or not, this is what she said. Turned on the
- 31:17Speaker 4: TV to see a mock jury of Wood, and they
- 31:22Speaker 4: did convict her, the mock jury of this daytime talk show.
- 31:24Speaker 3: The difference there is, like, we still don't know. Like,
- 31:27Speaker 3: that was such a mystery with Sean Benet. It's like,
- 31:29Speaker 3: who could it be?
- 31:30Speaker 2: We still don't know.
- 31:31Speaker 3: With Diddy, it's like, who on earth is like, well,
- 31:34Speaker 3: I don't know. I think almost everyone is like.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Kanye, I guess. Well.
- 31:39Speaker 3: case closed then we have the arbiter of logic and
- 31:42Speaker 3: sanity in Diddy's Corner so egg on my face like
- 31:46Speaker 3: nobody is in Diddy's Corner on this and we don't
- 31:49Speaker 3: have to like hmm and I also don't think people
- 31:51Speaker 3: even care or are surprised that celebrities have orgies and
- 31:54Speaker 3: threesomes like who cares no one's like clutching their pearls
- 31:58Speaker 3: that like a rapper is sleeping with multiple people everyone's
- 32:03Speaker 3: on board with this it's Cases of baby oil. It's
- 32:06Speaker 3: underage people. It's the weird death of his ex-wife and
- 32:09Speaker 3: baby mama.
- 32:09Speaker 4: It's that, Diddy. Yeah, there's so much. So anyway, I
- 32:13Speaker 4: just wanted you to know that we'll know about that. Now,
- 32:15Speaker 4: this was really juicy. I follow Sloane Hooks.
- 32:19Speaker 3: That is a beautiful man. That's a beautiful man.
- 32:21Speaker 2: You don't know who Sloane Hooks is?
- 32:22Speaker 3: I don't.
- 32:23Speaker 2: He's a big YouTuber, too. He's been on the show.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I'm the worst YouTuber. I'm all output. I don't know anybody.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Well, anyway, I follow him. So he brought the story
- 32:31Speaker 4: to me. Adorable Rain Disick, the youngest son of Scott
- 32:35Speaker 4: and Courtney Disick. And then, of course, she has her
- 32:37Speaker 4: other son with Baker.
- 32:40Speaker 2: What's his first name? Travis. Pencil. So people have said
- 32:45Speaker 2: the timeline of the conception of what it would be
- 32:51Speaker 2: when she got pregnant with Rain was a time, maybe
- 32:55Speaker 2: it was, I thought it was fake for the show
- 32:58Speaker 2: or for PR, but Courtney and Justin at the time
- 33:03Speaker 2: were hanging out together.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Okay. I remember this.
- 33:06Speaker 2: So they were hanging out.
- 33:07Speaker 3: I remember when Justin did a radio show and someone
- 33:10Speaker 3: was like, you hooked up with Courtney. And his exact
- 33:12Speaker 3: words were, I got used, man.
- 33:14Speaker 2: I got used.
- 33:15Speaker 3: He was laughing like, oh, like obviously she used me
- 33:18Speaker 3: for sex.
- 33:19Speaker 7: Maybe.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Or I got used thinking I'd get sex. Sex. But
- 33:25Speaker 2: it was just to be on the show and to
- 33:27Speaker 2: have a storyline. Was he on the show though? Was he?
- 33:30Speaker 3: Part of it?
- 33:30Speaker 2: I don't know. Someone has to look it up. So
- 33:32Speaker 2: it could be either or. However, however, I do remember that,
- 33:39Speaker 2: and yes, this is awful.
- 33:41Speaker 4: We're talking about a paternity of a little kid, but it's,
- 33:43Speaker 4: they're in the public eye and whatever.
- 33:44Speaker 3: We're creators. We're awful people. I mean, it is what
- 33:47Speaker 3: it is.
- 33:48Speaker 4: I do remember Scott when, or hearing about it or
- 33:52Speaker 4: watching it, him being really quite shocked by this third
- 33:56Speaker 4: pregnancy and being like, We don't even sleep in the
- 33:59Speaker 4: same room, this or that. However, I thought at the
- 34:02Speaker 4: time that I thought all the girls, because they don't
- 34:07Speaker 4: really stick with these men, I think one regret that
- 34:13Speaker 4: Kris Jenner would say is when she was a little girl, she.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Always said, I want to have six kids. That's documented
- 34:19Speaker 2: in her book. She said it. I want to have
- 34:21Speaker 2: six kids. She always says she regrets....
- 34:25Speaker 4: Stepping out on Robert Kardashian and then they got divorced
- 34:28Speaker 4: and they you know ended up being really good friends
- 34:31Speaker 4: after she then meets Bruce Jenner at the time and
- 34:34Speaker 4: then they have the two more girls which a lot
- 34:38Speaker 4: of people do when they have like a big break
- 34:40Speaker 4: I have a friend the same thing happened five sisters
- 34:42Speaker 4: then ten years and then well I gotta have one
- 34:45Speaker 4: more so they have a friend so she has the
- 34:47Speaker 4: two littles in early 40s Kendall and Kylie and um
- 34:53Speaker 4: And so I've always so I always thought, you know,
- 34:57Speaker 4: Courtney wants to have another child. And maybe she at
- 35:01Speaker 4: that time was like, well, I'm ovulating. Scott's still in
- 35:06Speaker 4: my life.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Right. I want all the siblings to be. I don't
- 35:09Speaker 2: want to deal with another baby daddy. I want them
- 35:11Speaker 2: to match. Kim, which we'll get to in a minute. Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Kim, you know, had four kids with Kanye, two that
- 35:17Speaker 4: she carried. And all her biological children, but two that
- 35:21Speaker 4: she had to have a surrogate because the two pregnancies
- 35:23Speaker 4: were difficult.
- 35:24Speaker 2: So anyway, I was always like, well, I wonder if
- 35:27Speaker 2: that's the case. Even Kylie. Kylie has two kids with,
- 35:31Speaker 2: what's the guy's name?
- 35:33Speaker 3: Name cannot be found.
- 35:35Speaker 2: His name's Travis.
- 35:36Speaker 4: She has two kids with him. We'll see if she
- 35:38Speaker 4: has any with Timothy. Then Courtney went on to get
- 35:40Speaker 4: married to Travis Barker and has her little boy. So
- 35:44Speaker 4: I'm just saying, I just wanted, I never, I was like, oh, well,
- 35:47Speaker 4: that's probably it, Scott. She probably really wasn't, you guys
- 35:50Speaker 4: probably weren't that together, but she might have cozied up
- 35:54Speaker 4: to you during her ovulation, whatever.
- 35:56Speaker 3: I don't think he's the kind of guy who's going
- 35:57Speaker 3: to turn down sex.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Or be like, wait a minute, are you ovulating? I
- 36:01Speaker 3: think that these words are completely foreign.
- 36:02Speaker 4: So now the people that are into the sluice, which also, listen,
- 36:06Speaker 4: they've also said we don't think that courtney is i
- 36:09Speaker 4: mean sorry chloe is robert kardashian she's the hairdresser daughters
- 36:13Speaker 4: that's what we've always people think that i people thought
- 36:16Speaker 4: oj i don't think oj at all um but anyway
- 36:21Speaker 4: they i remember they were gonna do a 23andme or
- 36:25Speaker 4: dna and then they decided not to but they made
- 36:27Speaker 4: an episode out of it there you know there are
- 36:31Speaker 4: fair because her when she was growing up her hair
- 36:33Speaker 4: was more blonde there was Robert is tall as well.
- 36:36Speaker 4: And he looks just like the dad. So like there is, there,
- 36:39Speaker 4: there are tall people in the family, whatever, who cares? So,
- 36:41Speaker 4: but with this one, his little face, it looks a
- 36:47Speaker 4: lot like Justin's little face at the time. And people
- 36:50Speaker 4: have done the reason and put it together. So he's
- 36:54Speaker 4: doing a live with some other kid. That's like a
- 36:57Speaker 4: family friend.
- 36:59Speaker 2: And he's reading it. And someone says to little rain,
- 37:04Speaker 2: who's like, I don't know, eight or something, is Justin
- 37:08Speaker 2: Bieber your dad?
- 37:08Speaker 6: What?
- 37:09Speaker 2: And then he goes, no, no, my dad's Scott. No, no, no.
- 37:15Speaker 2: And my immediate thought is I don't think a kid
- 37:19Speaker 2: that age, being asked that on the spot, is thinking
- 37:24Speaker 2: they're asking that because maybe my mom slept with Justin Bieber.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Of course not.
- 37:28Speaker 4: He's asking it like if someone said, Heather– is your
- 37:32Speaker 4: dad Ronald McDonald? No, my dad's not Ronald McDonald. I
- 37:36Speaker 4: wish I was heir to the McDonald fortune.
- 37:38Speaker 2: He's not. He's Bob McDonald. That's a crazy thing to ask.
- 37:41Speaker 2: That guy's a clown. Like, whatever. So I think he
- 37:44Speaker 2: was just kind of like, what? Why would anyone think that?
- 37:46Speaker 2: Don't you know my dad is Scott Disick? Like, I
- 37:48Speaker 2: think he wasn't thinking that. And so, anyway, pretty.
- 37:53Speaker 4: Crazy that it's coming up. And I do feel like
- 38:00Speaker 4: it is something that, We should never know, never test it.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I'm sure Scott doesn't want it. Scott is a good
- 38:05Speaker 2: looking guy, too. Courtney, you know, I mean, you see
- 38:09Speaker 2: Courtney in his face. I don't know. But they did
- 38:12Speaker 2: the same thing to Chloe. So to them, they're probably like,
- 38:15Speaker 2: this is so disgusting. I hate this.
- 38:18Speaker 6: But.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I'm just reporting on what's being talked about.
- 38:20Speaker 3: We're just reading the news, people.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I could see it. I mean, Scott and Justin have
- 38:25Speaker 3: that sort of Kirkland Signature white man vibe. You know,
- 38:28Speaker 3: same kind of bone structure, same kind of nose. Like,
- 38:30Speaker 3: you mix those genes in, it's kind of hard to
- 38:32Speaker 3: tell the difference. I mean, maybe she wanted another baby.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Scott was, like, non-viable for whatever reason.
- 38:38Speaker 4: I mean, it would be interesting if he, you know,
- 38:42Speaker 4: starts leaning towards singing and stuff. He's quite the character,
- 38:47Speaker 4: but so is Scott. Like, he's the one who's sassy
- 38:50Speaker 4: and funny, but Scott is sassy and funny.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Yeah, Courtney's not that tight.
- 38:54Speaker 4: So I'm like, it could be, you know, but also
- 38:56Speaker 4: it's hanging around your dad. You know, there's genes and
- 39:00Speaker 4: then there's.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Just, you know, who you're growing up with. Yeah, right, exactly.
- 39:03Speaker 4: So anyway, there's that. Okay, getting back to the horrible
- 39:06Speaker 4: Kanye West.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Oh, God. Kanye West did another interview where he's wearing
- 39:11Speaker 2: a black Ku Klux Klan. No, you had it right.
- 39:15Speaker 2: That's right.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Ku Klux Klan.
- 39:17Speaker 6: Yep.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Outfit, but instead of white, it's black.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Where do you even get a black one? I don't
- 39:21Speaker 3: think that.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Was part of the spring collection. He does have a
- 39:23Speaker 2: clothing line. This is true.
- 39:24Speaker 3: The seamstress, I'm just picturing walking in like, I need
- 39:27Speaker 3: you to sew something. Make it bigger.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Pointer.
- 39:29Speaker 3: And she's like, what?
- 39:30Speaker 2: Wait, what am I fucking making right now? Yeah, it's super,
- 39:32Speaker 2: super pointy.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Super pointy.
- 39:33Speaker 2: And he's just having a conversation. I don't know who
- 39:34Speaker 2: the guy that interviewed him.
- 39:36Speaker 4: I think I saw someone else pick it up, and
- 39:38Speaker 4: that's what I saw. And it was hard to watch
- 39:41Speaker 4: just this interview at all. And he is using the N-word,
- 39:45Speaker 4: the F-A-G-word over and over and over again, talking about
- 39:49Speaker 4: John Legend being that, and that he was wearing sweaters
- 39:54Speaker 4: and 102 degrees and Barbados and just ripping on people,
- 39:58Speaker 4: just everything. Then he goes on to say that, and
- 40:03Speaker 4: TMZ is reporting on it too, that he never wanted
- 40:07Speaker 4: to have kids with Kim. And he has said that
- 40:11Speaker 4: in previous things where he, when he was preaching, when
- 40:14Speaker 4: he was doing his Christian stuff, his weird church.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:17Speaker 4: He made a whole thing of that he felt very
- 40:21Speaker 4: guilty at the time because when he heard about the pregnancy,
- 40:23Speaker 4: his initial thought was to end the pregnancy. And he
- 40:26Speaker 4: felt so bad. And everyone was like, oh, my God,
- 40:29Speaker 4: it's beautiful that you found him. Christ and life and whatever,
- 40:32Speaker 4: but everyone also thought, why would you.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Say that publicly?
- 40:35Speaker 3: And why are you saying this?
- 40:37Speaker 4: Because it's so horrible. So now there were three... you know,
- 40:41Speaker 4: kids after that. He goes, well, God had a plan.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Well, God didn't have a.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Plan because you had a surrogate and you used, I
- 40:48Speaker 4: think they did IVF for all three after.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Well, he wasn't banging the surrogate, so yeah. No, he wasn't. Like,
- 40:54Speaker 3: there's medical intervention.
- 40:55Speaker 2: So it's like, it wasn't God's plan.
- 40:57Speaker 4: If you didn't want to have any more kids, you
- 40:59Speaker 4: would have had the kid and like, you know, moved on.
- 41:02Speaker 4: But no, you not only had the kid before, then
- 41:05Speaker 4: you had your big lavish wedding and then went on
- 41:09Speaker 4: to have three more kids. And then of course you're
- 41:12Speaker 4: a nightmare. And now she, now it's like the biggest
- 41:16Speaker 4: nightmare on earth. I think this is the worst thing
- 41:20Speaker 4: that has ever happened to the Kardashians. I don't know
- 41:24Speaker 4: how you end this nightmare of like keeping your kids
- 41:28Speaker 4: from his hatred, hatred and rhetoric and like, Oh my God.
- 41:35Speaker 2: It's just awful.
- 41:36Speaker 4: And there, and I just feel so, I mean, I
- 41:39Speaker 4: don't care how people feel about Kim Kardashian.
- 41:41Speaker 2: This is the worst thing that could happen.
- 41:43Speaker 3: It's a nightmare scenario for any woman. And I wish
- 41:45Speaker 3: Kim would talk more about it because it is the
- 41:48Speaker 3: most relatable thing about her. It's like this. I am
- 41:50Speaker 3: tethered to this man who is so toxic. He's bleeding
- 41:54Speaker 3: into my children's lives. Of course.
- 41:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 41:55Speaker 3: There is no way out as long as he's alive.
- 41:58Speaker 3: And this is his personality or this is his level
- 42:00Speaker 3: of medication. There's no way out. I don't know why
- 42:04Speaker 3: he's bringing up, yeah, not wanting kids. But the only
- 42:06Speaker 3: men who I ever hear say, yeah, I didn't want
- 42:08Speaker 3: these kids anyway, are the ones who are too broke
- 42:10Speaker 3: to pay child support. Suddenly that's when they're doing like
- 42:14Speaker 3: Monday morning quarterback. And I didn't even want this family.
- 42:17Speaker 3: You bullied me into it. Broke men say this. Rich
- 42:21Speaker 3: men are like, you know what? Yep, I've got kids.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I'm writing the check. This is how it is. We're
- 42:24Speaker 3: going to keep everyone happy.
- 42:26Speaker 4: And then the other side is men will say when
- 42:28Speaker 4: women go that his broke ass, he's a loser.
- 42:31Speaker 2: They'd be like, yeah, and you chose him.
- 42:32Speaker 3: And you chose him, right?
- 42:35Speaker 2: The point is, through that old joke, like, you know,
- 42:38Speaker 2: would he make a nice ex-husband? Actually, you should think
- 42:41Speaker 2: about that.
- 42:42Speaker 3: You absolutely should.
- 42:42Speaker 4: You actually should think in going forward, whether it's getting
- 42:45Speaker 4: married or... First of all, you know, hopefully it is
- 42:48Speaker 4: a choice and it's something that you were planning on it.
- 42:50Speaker 2: But, you know... But also, like, if you have the
- 42:53Speaker 2: luxury of choosing to procreate with this person, really think
- 42:56Speaker 2: about it. Really think, how would they react if.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Things changed and you fell in love with someone else
- 43:02Speaker 4: or there was a step parent involved. What what is
- 43:05Speaker 4: their relationship with their parents and.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Would they be OK? Because you really cannot escape them.
- 43:13Speaker 4: California in particular is very is very good about giving
- 43:18Speaker 4: fathers rights even more than other states.
- 43:20Speaker 2: So, like, get ready.
- 43:21Speaker 4: They're going to want you to share custody unless there's
- 43:24Speaker 4: something so.
- 43:26Speaker 2: And you should monumental.
- 43:28Speaker 4: But I think this would do it. I would think
- 43:30Speaker 4: if she went for it. But I wonder if she's
- 43:32Speaker 4: just not because her kids are getting of a certain
- 43:35Speaker 4: age where she feels like she doesn't want to be
- 43:38Speaker 4: the one that took.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Her kids from talking to him or seeing him.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, she's going to be the bad guy.
- 43:43Speaker 3: And it's interesting. We pick a car with more judiciousness.
- 43:46Speaker 3: The first thing we think about a car is, well,
- 43:47Speaker 3: what's it going to be like in an accident? We
- 43:49Speaker 3: don't have that concept with a male.
- 43:51Speaker 2: What's it going to be like in 10 years?
- 43:52Speaker 3: What's it going to be like in the accident, like
- 43:54Speaker 3: in the trauma scenario that he's making a Klan hoodie
- 43:57Speaker 3: and wearing it in an interview? But this personality of
- 44:02Speaker 3: his did not come out of nowhere. This did not.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Even if it was, if this is even 80% mental illness,
- 44:07Speaker 3: that did not happen earlier this year. That has been present.
- 44:10Speaker 3: And she still chose to reproduce with him.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I feel like Amber Rose warned us.
- 44:15Speaker 3: She warned all of us.
- 44:17Speaker 2: She is.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Nation's greatest philosopher, truly.
- 44:23Speaker 4: Also on that note, Robert Kardashian had a Bible that
- 44:27Speaker 4: he'd write notes in it. It was a very special thing.
- 44:29Speaker 4: He was, you know, like devout Christian as well. And
- 44:33Speaker 4: he gave it to OJ. And so they were selling
- 44:36Speaker 4: OJ things in an auction. And Kim tried to buy
- 44:40Speaker 4: it for 15 grand. However, I guess she lost out.
- 44:43Speaker 4: It went for 80.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Why didn't she just buy it. I find it interesting
- 44:49Speaker 3: that she had a cap amount that she was going
- 44:50Speaker 3: to spend on this important relic.
- 44:52Speaker 2: For her family.
- 44:53Speaker 4: I don't know the details of what happened with the
- 44:55Speaker 4: auctioneer or what, or if she just put a cap
- 44:58Speaker 4: on it, or I don't.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Really know how it happened.
- 45:00Speaker 3: I wouldn't want anything that has been in OJ Simpson's
- 45:02Speaker 3: house around my children.
- 45:03Speaker 4: That could be another part of it. Maybe she's like,
- 45:04Speaker 4: you know what? If I can't get it for 15,
- 45:06Speaker 4: you know what it's meant to be? Maybe it'll touch
- 45:08Speaker 4: another person's heart. My dad's in my heart. I don't
- 45:11Speaker 4: need the Bible that he gave to his friend when
- 45:13Speaker 4: he thought his friend was innocent, and then when he
- 45:16Speaker 4: realized he wasn't, when he was shocked at the, you know,
- 45:19Speaker 4: when you see Robert Kardashian's face go, when they say
- 45:21Speaker 4: not killed, like, maybe she's just like, you know what?
- 45:25Speaker 4: If I can get it for this, great. If not,
- 45:27Speaker 4: let someone else have it.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I don't know what that philosophy was. That seems to
- 45:29Speaker 2: be Kim's vibe.
- 45:30Speaker 3: It's like, well, whatever will be, will be. If my
- 45:32Speaker 3: ex-husband's going to wear a Klan hood.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Let them.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Let them! Like, girl, there's another half of that. It's
- 45:38Speaker 3: let me. Let me go back to my divorce attorney.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Let me go back to the courts.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Right. Kim. Okay, what is the deal? Because I'm seeing
- 45:46Speaker 2: this story everywhere. Sydney Sweeney, who's the very attractive actress,
- 45:51Speaker 2: she exploded on euphoria.
- 45:54Speaker 4: She's very known for her sexy, like, unique shaped eyes
- 45:59Speaker 4: and big natural breasts. And she's done the big, She
- 46:04Speaker 4: did like a big romantic comedy.
- 46:05Speaker 2: That was the best movie. She's done other... What was
- 46:07Speaker 2: that movie called?
- 46:07Speaker 3: Anyone But You.
- 46:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 46:09Speaker 2: It's so cute. And what is going on with her
- 46:11Speaker 2: romances right now?
- 46:12Speaker 3: So I just put up a video about this.
- 46:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Because on my channel I talk pop culture, but like
- 46:16Speaker 3: what we can learn from it, like the larger lessons.
- 46:19Speaker 3: So for this, it's like she has been dating this guy, engaged.
- 46:22Speaker 3: She's 27. He's 41. He locked her down pretty fast.
- 46:26Speaker 3: They were linked in 2018. So she was... I can't
- 46:28Speaker 3: do the math, but she was young, very young. And
- 46:30Speaker 3: I'm sure that when she was kind of a babe
- 46:32Speaker 3: in the woods in Hollywood, this guy... He's a failed
- 46:34Speaker 3: restaurateur turned producer, just general Hollywood. I mean, he slicks
- 46:38Speaker 3: his hair back.
- 46:38Speaker 2: So, okay.
- 46:39Speaker 3: You know, that kind of Hollywood type. I'm sure he
- 46:42Speaker 3: took her under his wing and like prevented her from
- 46:45Speaker 3: being like cannon fodder for the Harvey Weinsteins out there.
- 46:48Speaker 3: But now that she's so much more autonomous and growing up,
- 46:51Speaker 3: it's like, do I still need this sort of like
- 46:53Speaker 3: daddy husband in my corner? Do I want to go out,
- 46:56Speaker 3: have that ho phase, be an autonomous adult? And I
- 46:59Speaker 3: think so many women identify with that. Like, When do
- 47:03Speaker 3: you let go of the good guy if they are good,
- 47:06Speaker 3: if they are perfect on paper, but you've just kind
- 47:08Speaker 3: of outgrown them and you don't want that daddy vibe?
- 47:11Speaker 3: I mean, you want daddy, but not like... The parentification
- 47:16Speaker 3: type relationship. So I'm happy to see her out and about.
- 47:19Speaker 3: I hope she has a rip-roaring process. So she was
- 47:20Speaker 3: engaged to him.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. And now has she called off the engagement or
- 47:24Speaker 2: she's just not wearing the ring and hanging out with what's-his-name?
- 47:27Speaker 3: Evidently, she's deleted photos of them kissing from her Instagram,
- 47:30Speaker 3: which was pretty bad. Unless this is another, oh, it's
- 47:32Speaker 3: just a glitch. Right, Justin?
- 47:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Right, Haley?
- 47:35Speaker 3: And yeah, she did a photo shoot without her.
- 47:38Speaker 7: Ring.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Engagement ring, yeah. And she's been hanging out with Glenn Powell,
- 47:41Speaker 3: who allegedly- Who.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Was her co-star in that movie. Yes, and there was
- 47:45Speaker 2: all that gossip that- That people wondered if that was
- 47:47Speaker 2: just for looks or whatever.
- 47:49Speaker 3: I have to believe it was real. The body language,
- 47:52Speaker 3: I did a whole bunch of breakdowns on this, but
- 47:54Speaker 3: he would grab her by the back of the neck
- 47:55Speaker 3: on the red carpet, and that's how he would hold
- 47:58Speaker 3: his girlfriend. The body languages were the same with the
- 48:02Speaker 3: woman he was dating and then with Sydney. And I
- 48:04Speaker 3: think body language is- Harder to fake. It's not impossible.
- 48:08Speaker 3: These people are actors. But I like to think it
- 48:10Speaker 3: was a burgeoning romance, even if it meant she cheated.
- 48:13Speaker 2: I don't care. Good for her. All right.
- 48:15Speaker 3: OK.
- 48:15Speaker 2: OK. Yes.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Chappell Roan was on Call Her Daddy. And this clip
- 48:22Speaker 4: has gotten a lot of conversation going. And she said,
- 48:28Speaker 4: you know, she's she's I think she's in a relationship.
- 48:32Speaker 2: And I don't know with whom, but she doesn't have kids.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Well, she's dating a girl. Yeah, she's pretty safe from
- 48:38Speaker 3: accidentally getting knocked out.
- 48:39Speaker 2: I know she's... I didn't know if she... I didn't
- 48:44Speaker 2: know if she was... Who knows?
- 48:46Speaker 4: I know she says she likes girls and is bisexual.
- 48:49Speaker 4: I just didn't know whoever this person's significant other.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I didn't know. Anyway, so she says... And they're, like, laughing.
- 48:56Speaker 2: And it's a conversation, you know? Which happens, you know?
- 48:59Speaker 2: And she says.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Every single one of my friends who has gone on
- 49:03Speaker 4: to be a mom with little kids have no joy
- 49:07Speaker 4: in their eyes.
- 49:08Speaker 2: They're exhausted.
- 49:09Speaker 4: They're tired. They're miserable, whatever. And, you know, they're laughing
- 49:14Speaker 4: about it. Alex Cooper, the host, she doesn't have kids yet,
- 49:17Speaker 4: but she's married, so who knows. Me, as someone who
- 49:20Speaker 4: has kids that are now older, I was like, that's
- 49:24Speaker 4: kind of funny. It's kind of like it's basically like
- 49:27Speaker 4: I could see a stand-up talking about that, that they're
- 49:29Speaker 4: dead in the eyes or exhausted.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Because you are. I don't even remember... those years that well.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Mother nature doesn't want you to remember them, so you
- 49:38Speaker 3: keep having babies.
- 49:39Speaker 4: Because you really are sleep deprived. And you're like, and
- 49:41Speaker 4: my mom used to say that. She goes, having a baby,
- 49:44Speaker 4: it's like, what would she say? She would say like,
- 49:48Speaker 4: it's painful, it's exhausting, but God makes you forget so
- 49:50Speaker 4: that you have another. And also, it's like, those years,
- 49:56Speaker 4: you're sad that you don't remember them as well because
- 49:58Speaker 4: they're so cuddly and cute, but you really don't because
- 50:01Speaker 4: you really are tired and you really are burning and
- 50:04Speaker 4: you don't have any time from the moment you wake
- 50:06Speaker 4: up till, till you put them in bed, you maybe
- 50:08Speaker 4: have 10 minutes before you fall asleep yourself.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Like at the end. And then all of a sudden
- 50:11Speaker 2: they get older and then you're like, Oh my God,
- 50:13Speaker 2: they can.
- 50:13Speaker 4: Take their own showers. And like, I actually can watch
- 50:15Speaker 4: a show and then, and then they're gone. So it's like, it's, it's,
- 50:19Speaker 4: but I didn't think it was, I thought it was funny,
- 50:21Speaker 4: but people have, of course, gotten upset about it and said,
- 50:26Speaker 4: you know, how dare you?
- 50:27Speaker 2: Like, you don't know. Why would you say that?
- 50:30Speaker 4: What if, and then, you know, people are saying, what
- 50:31Speaker 4: about single people that are unhappy? I have a lot
- 50:34Speaker 4: more single people who are unhappy, who can't find their
- 50:37Speaker 4: husbands or child.
- 50:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:38Speaker 3: I mean, I am happily, very happily child-free and I
- 50:42Speaker 3: completely understand what chapel saying. I mean, I think misery
- 50:45Speaker 3: loves company and you have a lot of moms who
- 50:47Speaker 3: are just bitching, bitching, bitching.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:49Speaker 3: Of course they love their kids, but it's, The trade-off
- 50:52Speaker 3: is huge and it's relentless and you cannot change it.
- 50:55Speaker 3: I mean, you can abandon your family. You're not going to.
- 50:59Speaker 3: The single people who bitch are actively working to change
- 51:02Speaker 3: their situation. They want to find a partner, you know,
- 51:04Speaker 3: but the moms who bitch were like, well, wait, why
- 51:06Speaker 3: did you, how are you pregnant again, girl? And you
- 51:10Speaker 3: and I were talking about this.
- 51:11Speaker 4: But I will also say, I think that that's also
- 51:14Speaker 4: what we're seeing in the zeitgeist and comedy is that
- 51:18Speaker 4: you can bitch about your kids and it's funny.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Yes.
- 51:20Speaker 2: And it's okay.
- 51:22Speaker 3: And I'm so glad moms have that outlet.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's okay.
- 51:24Speaker 4: And so if they were bitching to her or having
- 51:27Speaker 4: fun with it, like, also, well, we didn't, like, I
- 51:31Speaker 4: was just complaining like you would about your man or
- 51:34Speaker 4: your husband, like, leaving his socks everywhere and the toilet
- 51:36Speaker 4: seats up.
- 51:36Speaker 2: It's like the old stupid joke. But, like. yes, you know,
- 51:40Speaker 2: is it exhausting? Is it tiring?
- 51:42Speaker 4: Are you like, Oh God, must be nice that you
- 51:44Speaker 4: could lay in your bed and read an entire vanity fair.
- 51:47Speaker 4: And like, yeah, I have those days now and it
- 51:50Speaker 4: is really nice. And I remember that I didn't have
- 51:52Speaker 4: those Saturdays. I was getting up and you know, I did,
- 51:55Speaker 4: I did land at the airport and bring my giant
- 51:58Speaker 4: suitcase to the baseball field to watch the game from
- 52:01Speaker 4: dropped off in an Uber. Cause my husband had to
- 52:03Speaker 4: be there. So he wasn't going to pick me up.
- 52:05Speaker 4: And I was like, I have to at least see
- 52:06Speaker 4: one game this weekend. And like, Yeah, there's all of
- 52:09Speaker 4: that that's, like, exhausting. And then, you know, whether you
- 52:13Speaker 4: have the luxury of staying at home or the luxury
- 52:16Speaker 4: of working or however you want to see it, if
- 52:18Speaker 4: you're lucky or not, I don't know. But I thought,
- 52:20Speaker 4: I think this is the one, like, generation, too, where
- 52:26Speaker 4: I have no judgment if someone wants to be child-free
- 52:31Speaker 4: by choice. You know, child-free by choice was something that
- 52:33Speaker 4: I heard, like, 10 years ago that no one had
- 52:35Speaker 4: talked about That it is a choice. It wasn't like
- 52:37Speaker 4: I tried or I wanted to. It's like, no, I
- 52:39Speaker 4: really never saw. And I've had people come up to
- 52:42Speaker 4: me or say, you know, should I? I don't even know.
- 52:45Speaker 4: I don't know how I feel. I don't know if
- 52:47Speaker 4: I should have one more or have one at all.
- 52:49Speaker 2: We're deciding.
- 52:51Speaker 4: And in those cases, I'd be like, well, why don't
- 52:54Speaker 4: you just fuck with your husband?
- 52:57Speaker 3: That's always my answer to that. And if it happens.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Just fuck. If it happens, then great.
- 53:01Speaker 4: And if it doesn't, then you don't want it so
- 53:04Speaker 4: much that you're going to go the next step to
- 53:07Speaker 4: have a fertility journey and to hopefully have it work out.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Or go through the trauma of it. Be lucky that
- 53:12Speaker 2: you don't want it that much. So if it happens, great.
- 53:15Speaker 4: If it doesn't, you're like, oh, God wanted this or
- 53:18Speaker 4: the universe wanted it or whatever. I do think it's
- 53:21Speaker 4: a good time. I understand women still get pressure, but
- 53:24Speaker 4: I think for the first time in this Gen Z.
- 53:29Speaker 2: I don't think they're going to feel that pressure like
- 53:31Speaker 2: they have in the past.
- 53:32Speaker 3: You know, as a woman, you're always going to feel
- 53:33Speaker 3: that pressure. Like every generation thinks we're breaking the mold.
- 53:36Speaker 3: We're disruptors. Bitch, no, you're not. Like we're maybe moving
- 53:39Speaker 3: a quarter of a standard deviation away from the norm
- 53:41Speaker 3: in terms of like, hey, we can like question whether
- 53:44Speaker 3: we want kids. But people always kind of come at
- 53:47Speaker 3: me with like, you're going to change your mind. Or
- 53:50Speaker 3: now that I'm like too old to change my mind, it's.
- 53:52Speaker 3: You're going to be sad when you're old. You're going
- 53:54Speaker 3: to be sad when you're old about something. And every
- 53:58Speaker 3: old person I know is like, there's always going to
- 54:00Speaker 3: be something that you regret or you wanted to do differently.
- 54:02Speaker 3: And society just always supports and lionizes weddings and babies.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Plural babies. If you have one baby, if you're a
- 54:09Speaker 3: woman listening and you have one baby.
- 54:11Speaker 2: You get this.
- 54:12Speaker 3: You don't want a weird only child. That'd be so weird.
- 54:15Speaker 3: They're going to turn out to be bizarre. There's always,
- 54:18Speaker 3: it's like, then have more. How many are you going
- 54:20Speaker 3: to have? It's like, there's always that opinion and that
- 54:22Speaker 3: celebration over it. Like you don't get, you don't go
- 54:24Speaker 3: on Etsy and order like custom things for a PhD
- 54:28Speaker 3: party or a corner office party or a book publishing party.
- 54:31Speaker 3: It's for bachelorettes, weddings, baby showers. That's the machine. And
- 54:36Speaker 3: yet we, it's like on one hand, that's such a celebration.
- 54:40Speaker 3: And on the other, it's like Chapel said, like you
- 54:42Speaker 3: look in your friend's eyes and they're like dead and
- 54:45Speaker 3: crying for help. They're like a hostage. And so we hear,
- 54:48Speaker 3: it's like, well, which is it? Should we be super
- 54:49Speaker 3: excited about this or should be really pulling back and
- 54:52Speaker 3: looking real deal at like, who am I procreating with?
- 54:57Speaker 3: Am I just fucking and seeing what happens? Or am
- 54:59Speaker 3: I getting into a Kanye situation potentially? Because I'm not
- 55:02Speaker 3: really being in the driver's seat of these decisions and
- 55:05Speaker 3: thinking like long term. Parenthood seems really hard when you
- 55:09Speaker 3: do want it. And if you're like, ah, Then it
- 55:13Speaker 3: seems like an absolute death sentence. It seems like it
- 55:15Speaker 3: would be so much resentment, so much difficulty.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Well, you should never do it.
- 55:20Speaker 4: I remember when I was doing real estate, I had
- 55:22Speaker 4: the listing of this house and the couple was getting divorced. And,
- 55:26Speaker 4: you know, one day the woman kind of opened up
- 55:28Speaker 4: to me and she.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Was like, we got married and I really wanted a child.
- 55:35Speaker 2: And he did not. And he was like, okay, but
- 55:39Speaker 2: if you have that child, I'm not doing one thing.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Oh God.
- 55:42Speaker 2: And he literally did not do one thing.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Like did not like, like literally the bottle could be
- 55:49Speaker 4: there and she could be in the kitchen and she
- 55:50Speaker 4: could be like, can you just hand the bottle to
- 55:52Speaker 4: the kid? And he was like, yeah. So then she
- 55:55Speaker 4: was like, well, I can't have this person around my child.
- 55:58Speaker 4: That's like this uninvolved in like such an, and I
- 56:01Speaker 4: was like, yeah, you know what? Believe, Believe them if
- 56:04Speaker 4: they say that.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Believe them. They're not going to change the way. No.
- 56:08Speaker 4: I think people think like the grumpy dad, like my
- 56:11Speaker 4: dad was like, my brother brought home a dog.
- 56:14Speaker 2: And he was like, I said we didn't want a dog.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Now what are we going to do?
- 56:16Speaker 4: The next thing we know, you know, we all fall
- 56:21Speaker 4: in love with it. And then it's like there's people
- 56:23Speaker 4: that do those videos, and it's always the grumpy dad.
- 56:25Speaker 3: It's the grumpy dad, yeah.
- 56:26Speaker 4: That the dog knows, like, oh, that's who I need
- 56:28Speaker 4: to win over. So then that's the one that they
- 56:31Speaker 4: make their primary human, and then the dad's obsessed. Okay,
- 56:34Speaker 4: grumpy dad, grumpy 50-year-old dad who ends up liking the
- 56:38Speaker 4: dog that the 7-year-old wants.
- 56:40Speaker 2: It's not necessarily going to work. With your human child.
- 56:43Speaker 2: That's a hell of a roll of the dice.
- 56:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:45Speaker 3: And, like, yeah, if you are wrong, even if the
- 56:48Speaker 3: odds are 50-50, those are bad odds. And if you're wrong, yeah,
- 56:51Speaker 3: you're getting divorced. You are dealing with a man who
- 56:54Speaker 3: won't hand a bottle to the baby.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Or worse, to get back at you. Oh. To get
- 56:58Speaker 2: back at you, he will say, I want half custody. Oh, yeah.
- 57:02Speaker 2: And I want you to pay these expenses.
- 57:03Speaker 3: 100%.
- 57:04Speaker 4: And now I decide that you can't have the baby
- 57:08Speaker 4: on Mother's Day because you got them last year.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Like, it's just so... Yeah, there's a lot of things to.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Consider in this day and age that we are now
- 57:15Speaker 4: aware of that we can look at other women and
- 57:16Speaker 4: their examples. But I did have a friend who was
- 57:20Speaker 4: childless by choice. And once she got married, of course,
- 57:23Speaker 4: all the questions were, you know how we can't see?
- 57:25Speaker 4: Because she was like, you know, in her early 30s.
- 57:27Speaker 4: And she said to me, she goes, you know what, Heather,
- 57:30Speaker 4: you're the only person that was just like, cool.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Like, maybe because I have them. Like, maybe because I know.
- 57:37Speaker 2: And I'm like, if it's not for you.
- 57:39Speaker 4: And the other thing is, And I think, I think
- 57:43Speaker 4: I saw Jerry Seinfeld say this somewhere. He goes, I
- 57:46Speaker 4: think the greatest thing God did is like, there's no
- 57:49Speaker 4: way for you to see what you're missing if you
- 57:51Speaker 4: don't have them. Like, like, you know, if you choose
- 57:54Speaker 4: not to have them, not like you had a child
- 57:57Speaker 4: and you lost. I mean, just like you chose not
- 57:59Speaker 4: to have them. There's no way that you like. There's
- 58:00Speaker 4: no sliding doors moment where then you could jump to
- 58:04Speaker 4: another matrix or whatever and see, oh, this is what
- 58:07Speaker 4: your family, this is, we're going to give you 24
- 58:10Speaker 4: hours in a day in the life if you had
- 58:12Speaker 4: two kids eight years ago, what it would look like.
- 58:15Speaker 2: There's no way of knowing. So you just are happy
- 58:17Speaker 2: with your life and you feel it how you choose.
- 58:20Speaker 4: And I also want to say, I have been pushing
- 58:22Speaker 4: towards the movement and the joy that comes with, not
- 58:25Speaker 4: enough people talk about how great this.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Is, but I know a couple of people, which is,
- 58:29Speaker 2: Hot step grandma.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Yes, hot step grandma.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Hot step grandma is the best of all the world.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Yes.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Meaning you have your fun single life without getting married.
- 58:39Speaker 4: And then, you know, whatever, mid-40s or so or later,
- 58:45Speaker 4: you meet a guy and he's divorced with grown kids.
- 58:48Speaker 2: And you fall in love.
- 58:49Speaker 3: Ideal.
- 58:50Speaker 2: And then those.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Grown kids have their babies. And now you do get
- 58:55Speaker 4: to babysit and be.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Maternal and grandmothery and everything. And you, but you miss
- 59:02Speaker 2: the first step, which is the best because being grandparents
- 59:06Speaker 2: is better than being a parent. So like, it's the
- 59:08Speaker 2: best thing ever. If you can make that happen for you. you.
- 59:10Speaker 3: I think so. I mean, there's so many broken marriages.
- 59:12Speaker 3: There are a lot of single parents out there.
- 59:14Speaker 2: There's a lot of chance to be hot step-grandma.
- 59:16Speaker 3: There's a lot of chance.
- 59:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:17Speaker 3: But you got to be hot. This is the thing.
- 59:18Speaker 3: You can't be dumpy step-grandma. You got to be hot
- 59:20Speaker 3: because the market's going to be popping for this.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Right. But it works out. It works out.
- 59:25Speaker 3: I'm down for that.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:27Speaker 4: Blake Lively. which I know people are tired of. I
- 59:30Speaker 4: don't even know where we are in it.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Who even?
- 59:33Speaker 3: It's like Amendment 75.
- 59:35Speaker 2: I don't know what the latest happened, but I did
- 59:36Speaker 2: see this.
- 59:37Speaker 4: TMZ said, Blake Lively shows up for work at a
- 59:41Speaker 4: Connecticut donut shop.
- 59:42Speaker 2: It sounds like.
- 59:43Speaker 3: Times are tough.
- 59:45Speaker 2: It sounds like maybe she's filming something and either this
- 59:49Speaker 2: was where they were filming or she did that cosplay
- 59:52Speaker 2: of being a minimum wage worker, which a lot of
- 59:55Speaker 2: stars like to do that.
- 59:56Speaker 3: They do love to do that.
- 59:57Speaker 2: What? This star made.
- 59:59Speaker 4: Me a coffee and didn't know how to work the
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: foam machine?
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Oh, my God. How great. And then.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: And oh, and she was so sweet. And she took
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: a photo with all the staff and then left. And
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: then I had to still work for another seven and
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: a half hours.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. And she's not getting, you know, 80% of
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: her paycheck out in taxes. My friend actually took some footage.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: She was there and saw her.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Oh, really? Yeah.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: And she sent it to me. She's like, what was it?
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Was it filming or was she doing just something fun
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: for PR?
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: She didn't see any filming thing, but she was like
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: working and making donuts. But the picture, Blake is almost
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: like touching the ceiling. She's a giant. She's gigantic. I
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: don't know if she had these huge shoes on, but
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: I'm like, She looked like Godzilla storming the bakery, but
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: she looked very cute. Who knows what she was doing
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: back there? She's a big baker, so maybe she's just- Oh.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: That's right. She is a big baker.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: She's a great little baker.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Now, the other thing that's coming with people talking about
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: the weirdness of Blake and Ryan is when they did
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: the nice pool where he wore his long hair and
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: he was clearly making fun of Justin Baldoni, he has
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: a lady pool who was played by Blake, which is
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: weird because- She was totally covered.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Like, why wouldn't you just get somebody else to do that?
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: But there's a child pool. Child pool?
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: There was a child in the scene that says to
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: one of the other characters, either the nice pool or
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: the other one, and the child says in the movie,
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: why don't you get Wolverine's dick out of your mouth
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: long enough to tell me this or do this?
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: To nice pool? Nice pool?
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: To a nice pool or one of the other pools.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: I don't even know. To a guy. Okay.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: But he's addressing a guy.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Justin's in the, not Justin, Ryan's in the scene.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: So people are like, wait a minute.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: And he, Ryan goes on to do a podcast or
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: whatever where he says, that was our child, our seven-year-old
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: daughter that was in the outfit covered.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Saying that line.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: And she didn't want to say that line until I said,
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: I'm going to audition other kids. And then she wanted
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: the part. And what was crazy is she didn't even
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: want to say the line, but in order to get
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: it right, we had her do it over 70 times.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: That's going to come up in therapy probably freshman year
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: of college. Or freshman year of rehab. Like, that's going
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: to come up.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Again, like, okay. Okay.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: What?
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Also, this is a person who got in a slutty
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: outfit and did a sketch and flirted with Justin Bieber.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: So I understand that sometimes.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: When the art is happening, maybe nobody in the room
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: is like, why don't we just get a little person
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: to get in the outfit? We do another voice of somebody.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: Or now they could probably just AI a kid's voice.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: They could AI it.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: But at the time, they didn't.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: And he wanted his family on set. And his whole weird,
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: snarky comedy thing. that isn't now, no one's thinking it's funny,
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: but people did think it was funny before this, is like,
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: I hate.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: My family, I hate my wife kind of humor.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: Just like the girls that are trying to make Chaperone laugh,
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: but don't really mean it. I hate my kids, I
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: hate my, and she thinks they really hate them when
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: they don't. So that's kind of interesting.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: So that all came up this week as well.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: It's just so unsavory. Like again, Blake and Ryan cannot
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: lambast Justin Baldoni for like trauma onset and hostile environment
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: when they're telling a seven-year-old to say, hey, take a
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: dick out of your mouth. Like, either you are beyond
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: reproach morally in this category or you're right down in
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: the mud and it's all just comedy and it's all
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: just art. But you can't cherry pick what's offensive when
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: the things you're doing are that bizarre. Like, that's just bizarre.
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Anything you're accusing Justin Baldoni of, it's like, what was it? Like,
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: what even was it? It's such a nothing burger when
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: they're this sticky and stinky with their own weird behavior.
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: It's just such bad optics.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Yeah. So we'll see what happens next. Speaking of Wolverine,
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: he is, you know, divorcing his wife. What the hell
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: is his name? What can I think of his name
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: right now?
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: Hugh Jackman?
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Hugh Jackman.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Hugh Jackman is divorcing his wife, who he had for
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: 27 years or something.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: He's with the other actress.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Sutton Foster.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Sutton Foster from Younger, who's also a Broadway person. They
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: did Broadway stuff together, so they're a red carpet match.
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: According to Daily Mail, bitter new twist in the Hugh
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: Jackman's divorce battle.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Well, now he's worth a lot of money.
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: And apparently they're saying she wants more than half of it. Well,
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: they've been together enough time that she would get half,
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: but I guess she wants more. And that it was
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: going to be all amicable and everything. But once someone
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: now is parading, they're much younger, more famous, and they're
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: in love and they're happy in their love. Sometimes the
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: amicable divorce does not remain amicable.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: Especially since Sutton and Hugh, like you said, they knew
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: each other from Broadway. So it's like suddenly you're putting
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: pieces together, those late night text messages, those press junkets.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: It all takes on a different shape.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: It wasn't going on much longer.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Right, right. And then, of course, there's the rumors that
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: there's something with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. It's like,
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: is Wolverine's dick someplace it's not supposed to be?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: You know what? If that is the case, if there
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: is any sort of messiness in his closet.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Whose closet? Hugh's. Okay. Like you just, just, well, it
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: was always, there's always.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: Rumors because he was a Broadway song and dance man.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: And I've had a wife that was his age or
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: older for so long. There was always rumors that, that
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: he was maybe not a hundred percent straight lavender marriage. And,
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: and for, you know, a lot of people don't know
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: the term lavender marriage and a lavender marriage was when
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: two people back in the day when you couldn't be
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: happily gay out there, they would get married. So a
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: woman who was a lesbian, a gay man, and they
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: would go and have a lovely friendship life, have kids.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: And I'm seeing all this stuff about lavender marriage now,
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: like on TikTok and stuff, of people who said, my
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: aunt and uncle were in a lavender marriage. I was
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: part of a lavender marriage. We didn't realize. And then
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: later on we did, and they died being great friends.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: And then there's this new movement of younger people being like,
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: We would like to bring back lavender marriage. Like gay
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: guys being like, I actually don't want to marry a guy.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Guys suck.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: I'm gay and I would much rather marry a woman
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: who's down to have a gay husband. And then women
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: are like, I'd like to marry my gay best friend.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: I mean, they're all like joking, but it's just kind
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: of an interesting thing. So people thought that, right? But
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: now that he's with this other girl.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: I personally don't.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: I just think he was a guy who was a
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: song and dance man. And this was his real wife
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: and everything. And he is in love with this real person.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: And I don't think there's anything up with Ryan and him.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: I wouldn't say that. And the rumors about Ryan too.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: I don't think so either. But, you know, people always
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: question that.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: That's always going to be a question.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: I think there's, you know, there's gay and straight and
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: then there's just narcissist where it's like they'll just take
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: anyone who's given them some attention.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: You know, I think Lindsay Lohan.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Could fall into that category. Like, how gay was she
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: dating Samantha Ronson? She was just, I think.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: DJ Samantha Ronson. DJ Samantha Ronson. Yes. Remember?
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: And she was like.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I remember those dates.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: Coming out of her house.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Yes. Crazy.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Speaking of which, working on Star, like, how would you get.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: now that you're gone, like how do those, some of
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: those more salacious photos that really broke a story that
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: were not, you know, Kyle Richards calling the paps.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: To show her, you know, whatever, what, how does that happen?
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: People are calling the paps.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: No, but even in the, no, the salacious ones where you,
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: where a story broke, they did not want the world
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: to know they were having an affair or whatever.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: It's the sources. We would have a lot of hairdressers.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: We talked to our hairdressers. Like there are therapists. There
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: is no HIPAA girl. Like they will sing like a bird.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: A lot of step siblings, like people who are like
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: in the family, but not blood related. So there's this jealousy.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: We saw tons of step parents, step siblings, step kids.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Telling it all.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Telling it all.
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: So if you're a celebrity and you have step people
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: in your orbit, don't trust them.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Um, Oh, Watch out for that step-hot grandma.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Don't trust step-hot grandma.
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: Who knows what she's up to? Who's she on the
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: phone with?
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: On her jitterbug phone.
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: We would get a lot. I mean, people are pretty
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: willing to tattle. They're pretty willing to tattle.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: And what would they get paid?
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Like $ 200, $ 100? You'd think, isn't that crazy?
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: I'm going to retire selling this story about Britney Spears.
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: You are maybe going to go to Arby's and, like,
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: blow it out. Like, that's about all you're going to do.
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: But they were, like, grateful for it.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Because a lot of these people, they were just kind
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: of like middle people who are not really going to
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: set the world on fire. But their celebrity that they
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: knew was like the one who got away, the one
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: who got out of the small town. And they've got
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: all the dirt from before they had their nose job
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: and before you know, they got knocked up in high school.
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: What do you think about Meghan Markle's stepsister that, you know,
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: was so bitter and talked a lot? Though I haven't
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: heard anything from her since her latest thing with the
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: TV show. Maybe she finally got tired and realized.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: I've squeezed everything I can out of this financially and whatnot.
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: Samantha Markle. You have a Meghan Markle story.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Tell me about that. Meghan Markle has stories
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: about me. Meghan Markle has theories that I am the
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: leader of a cabal. She's a cabal leader, guys. Orchestrating
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: millions of middle-aged housewives. Excuse me. I'm neither. To sustain
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: an online campaign of hate towards Meghan and She put
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: this in her Netflix documentary.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: So the Netflix documentary that we all saw that was
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: a huge hit, there's a part in it where, does
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: she say your name or they show you?
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: They show me and like three other girls.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Influencers or not influencers, a YouTuber or reporters or what?
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: The other two were actual reporters and journalists, you know?
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: So that's, to impugn the reputation of a journalist is
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: very different than coming after a YouTuber. I'm an ex-journalist,
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: but like, you know, these people are like, journalists. That's
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: a very risky bear to poke, in my opinion. I
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: don't find that ethical at all. I think it's ridiculous. Yeah,
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: and Megan's assertion through this guy, Chris Boozy, who's been
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: sued half a dozen times for making similarly defamatory and
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: ridiculous statements, claims that all of us who've never met
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: are in cahoots to organize hate against Megan. There's not
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: one tweet. There's not one DM.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Like, what?
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: Where are we doing all of this? Social networks, show us.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Show us one place we've done this.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: You were just doing what I do and everybody else does.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: Kind of commenting on what is out there, what people
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: are saying or what we think might be the case.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, Megan, you're a public figure. You put
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: yourself into this sort of character list that people are
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: then going to write narratives about. If you don't like it,
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: go work at H & R Block. No one fucking cares.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: You sought this out. You wore Princess Diana's perfume on
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: your first date with this man. You sought this limelight.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: So that is true. I saw that. Do you know
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: what kind of perfume it is? I don't.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: I want to think it's something horrible like Malibu Musk.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: I just want to think it's something tacky.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: I saw that somebody figured it out, but I don't
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: know what it was. But that's the story. But how
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: do we know that's a true story?
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, to me, it is in
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: the line of reasonableness given her other machinations towards Harry,
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: isolating him. Just everything. Everything she does is so calculating,
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: and yet she is so incredibly bad at being so calculating. Like,
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: it seems like the only person she's actually managed to
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: bamboozle is Prince Harry. And everyone else is like, the
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: fuck is this? Like, it's all just so incredibly transparent
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: and odious. I'm all for being bamboozled by a sneaky celebrity.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: Just be better at it. That's all I ask. Read
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: The Art of War. Read it like once. Listen to
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: some podcasts.
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: But, okay, so what do you think? See, this is
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: what I think is going on with her. Some people
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: think I'm too mean about her either, too. I was
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: like a fan of hers in the beginning.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: I thought it was great.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: I didn't understand why people were mad. I love that
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: she was like a Southern California girl. I think it's
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: fine that she has.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Her Netflix show. You can watch it. You can not.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: She has her next podcast. Yeah.
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: You can watch it or not. You can buy the jam.
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: You don't have to buy the jam. You can make
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: the fruit rainbow thing. You can, whatever it is. I
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: think at this point as a woman, I'm not out
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: to like, tear her down because she essentially is the breadwinner.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: Very true.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: How is he going to make any money at this point?
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: But she did that. I know, but he's not part
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: of the family.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: I don't know how they would ever parlay it back
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: where he would be able to gain a salary from it.
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: I know he has inheritance from his mom, but as
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: far as like you know, he's not a TV producer.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: He's not a writer. He's not a businessman. No, he's
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: not a writer.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: I mean, you know, is he going to buy a
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: bunch of like Noah's bagels and run it? Could he
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: buy a franchise? I don't know like what he could do.
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: I don't think, I think like our interest in them is,
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: is waning. And she's really like, she's the one that
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: has to bring it home. And she has this deal.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: They were able to get this deal. So of course
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: she does the, an easy deal of like, let me
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: just go down the street and make some cute, spaghetti,
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: and then talk to some, you know, the owner of
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: Spanx about being a founder, like everybody else has done.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: And I have 12 producers working on it that put
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: it together. It's an easy job. It's easier to do
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: that than be a teacher, be a nurse, be, or
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: even be a legit actress that has to learn 12
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: pages of lines in an hour. So that's what I think.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: And I also think think about all the women that
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: might be accused of taking the son away from the family.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Like you moved away or whatever.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: And now we don't, we're, we're the paternal grandparents. We
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: don't see our grandkids the way we'd like. Like that's,
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: that's a thing too. So it's like, I do get
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: why she feels, but going back to what happened at the,
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: in the Royal family and what stories were put out
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: about her being mean to A housekeeper or assistant? That,
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not, I don't really, I didn't follow
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: all that. But did you go deep on that?
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I was at Star at the time. And priorly,
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: you know, we'd always written about the royals. They're a
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: huge seller. And they were a very tight ship. The
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: House of Windsor was a tight ship. There was no sources.
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: There was no nothing. When Megan got in there, leaky AF.
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: People were singing like a bird because she sucked. And
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: the accounts we were getting, people were like, we are
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: risking our job, our family's legacy. The people who work
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: in service at that level, it is truly a calling.
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: They're very proud of it. It's not just a job
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: they take lightly. They're going to work in service for
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: a lifetime. They're going to pass that down. And so
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: for them to... risk that to share how awful this
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: woman is.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: And how was she awful? Give me some examples.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: Yelling, ungrateful, rude. She came in there and it was
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: this like, I'm a disruptor. This is not the place
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: you disrupt. And to your point, I absolutely get it
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: where it's like, yeah, so many mother-in-laws are like, you're
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: taking our son from us. This to me is why
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: I hate Harry. He should have been less of a wuss.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: He should have been out in front. If that's the case,
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: if his family is that toxic that he needed to
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: break away from them, he should have been like, This
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: is my decision. He should have been on the tip
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: of that spear telling everyone.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: I feel like he did a little bit in the
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Oprah interview.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: But he should have done it more. And let me say,
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: if we flip the genders on this, and if you
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: had a man isolating a woman from a big, stable family,
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: and then turning and being like, you can't work, but
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: I'm the reason you can't work because I took you
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: from this family, and you are subservient to me, so
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: you're going to do things my way. We would see
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: that so clearly as an abusive dynamic. That would not
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: be like, well, you know, she has to stay home.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: She has to stay home because he's created that situation.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: And not by an accident. It seems very advantageous that, yeah,
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: she's the breadwinner. Yeah, she's making all the decisions. That
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: is part and parcel of her personality, which seems to be,
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: as we're seeing, pretty hungry for power and influence. And, hey,
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: you can't knock the hustle. But don't then turn around
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: and say you're the victim. Just be like, yeah, I'm
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: fucking power hungry. Like, go for it. Kanye it out.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: Don't be the victim.
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: Or I think also the stuff that you chose to do,
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: you know, a very easy show of having people come
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: over and make a meal and then a very easy
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: interview show. You see people doing it, you know.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: Like I haven't, I haven't saw like, yeah.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: I can't pull it off. Right. Easiest thing.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: She can't pull off.
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: But I see why people do what, I do.
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: And what you do, I see why people go, I
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: see why big stars go. I mean, I just saw
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: a clip of Amy Poehler say, um, I'm giving 25%
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: on this podcast and I'm doing it because I was
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: sick of seeing all the guys do so well with it.
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: She's probably looking at the smart list guys going really
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: $ 60 million. Why am I not doing a pile?
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: I'll do a podcast. It looks easy. Who's this girl?
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: Heather McDonald's had it for 10 years. Why does anyone
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: care what she's not never been on SNL? She's not
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: a movie star. Why should she be successful? And again,
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: she has every right to go jump in.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: Just like someone who's got 12 people listening can have
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: a podcast, too.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Like, I get it. But, yeah. Yeah, that's.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Well, that just goes to show, like, people who are professionals,
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: it's not because it's easy. It's because they make it
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: look easy. And I don't think Meghan takes that into account. Like,
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: being a royal, even. isn't easy. They make it look easy.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: Keeping the stiff upper lip, not reacting, not saying things.
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: It's the hardest thing in the world.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Doing boring shit. Doing boring shit. Being in the fog.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: With the ribbon cuttings and the community centers and the
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: macaroni portraits that kids are giving you.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Ugh. Kill me.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: But she signed up for that.
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: I predicted that she would have a talk show, which
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: essentially a podcast is a talk show.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: She's too narcissistic.
- 1:18:07Speaker 4: Because I was like, she'll do something easy like that,
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: but she'll want to be back in the limelight. But
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: that's what I thought she would stay in London and
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: do something like that in London. That would be like,
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: she would be the Oprah of London.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: No, she's too big for her britches.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: She has to be the Oprah of the world.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: But then in her defense, she would say, I would
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: have loved to have done that. But right from the start,
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: the world was ready to compare me to Kate and
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: come after me.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: You signed up for this?
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: Again, go work at H & R Block.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Go work at a car wash.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: Like, no one's comparing those people to Kate Middleton.
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: But do you think, but right from the start though,
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: what did she do wrong? Not, courtesy right like I
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: mean in the start she was the wedding was nice
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: she yes she didn't and you know she didn't have
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: her she got mad at her dad for selling the photos.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: So, you know, yes, she'd had him come.
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: They, maybe, but at the same time, like, she was
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: being respectful of the royal. She had the king walk
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: her down the aisle, like, I am just like playing
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: devil's advocate.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: No, I get it.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: Some people say I'm too, you know, I'm too against her. I,
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: you know, I don't know.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: How do you.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: I think the only way to do it is if
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: you were like Princess Monica of Monaco.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you're just not in.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: The public at all.
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: You give up, yeah, you give up all and you
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: please everybody at a meal and you take photos and
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: you look gorgeous until.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: But that's a job description. Yeah.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: That's the job.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Right. But then.
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: But in 20 whatever she got married, did she really
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: was she expected? Did anyone say if you marry Harry,
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: you can't have your own career and do your own thing?
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: Yes, that is very much part of the agreement. Like
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: they can't even accept free gifts. Like if you're Chanel,
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: you can't send anything to Kate Middleton. She has to
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: send it back. I know that like Megan would have
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: known that. And we had heard that like she wasn't
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: taking the history classes seriously. And she went in there
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: with this. And this is just what we heard and
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: what we reported on, that she wanted to go in
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: there with this attitude of like, I'm going to disrupt things.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: There are some things that don't need to be disrupted.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: And if you look at even Silicon Valley and the
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: founders are like, we're going to shake up the Adam
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: Neumann WeWork thing. Not everything needs to be disrupted. You
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: don't need to disrupt the way people buy groceries. You
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: don't need to disrupt gas stations. You don't need to
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: disrupt a royal family. People go there for the tradition
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: of it. That's what we like about it. The consistency,
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: the history. if you're going to pull on a thread
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: and disrupt something, pick something else. And the fact that
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: there is no one massive thing that she did, she
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: didn't like barf in St. Patrick's Cathedral, just goes to
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: show how gradual and organic it was that people stopped
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: liking her. And we all know this girl. There's a
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: Megan in every one of our friendship groups. It's like,
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: why do you have to act like this at brunch, Kristen?
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: But they can't help themselves. And it's just like. It's
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: so funny that you call me.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: I want to like her. That you call me. What
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: did she say? It's so funny that you call me
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: Meghan Markle when it's. It's Meghan Sussex.
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: Sussex is a title. I actually have a title. I
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: outrank Meghan. And I don't think my title is my
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: last name.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: That's the attitude that was coming, you think.
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: She can't even get her brags right. She can't even
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: get her. her snippy bitchy flexes factually correct. Like, do
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: you need a notebook to write down your insults, Megan?
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: Because they're not landing. They don't make any sense, girl.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: It's so funny. It's like, no, nothing's funny. No, she's
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: not funny. I don't think she's a funny person.
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: She's too self-involved to be funny. Like, to be funny,
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: you know, you have to be able to make fun
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: of yourself. And she is not that bitch. She ain't
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: the girl who's going to make fun of her. She's
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: not telling a joke at her own expense.
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: No. Well, I thoroughly enjoyed you coming. I have your info.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: Let me put your info up here. Hold on.
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: Yeah, give me a follow on YouTube, guys. We talk
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: about celebs.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Okay, so your YouTube. What's your YouTube name?
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: It's just Shallon Lester.
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: Okay, and then here's your Instagram. Shallon XO. But then
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: give her a YouTube follow because she does lots of
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: cool videos. And this was so juicy. I really enjoyed
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: getting to know you. You'll have to come back.
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: We got to just like also just chat.
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: No, no.
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: We don't always have to do stuff on.
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: But I love it.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: I love being here with you because of our complimentary angles.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Yes. We can take photos. We can stand up.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: We can do anything.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: We can talk to the world.
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: This is our evidence.
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: And everybody go to HeatherMcDowell.net. That is where you're going
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: to join my Patreon. And it's fabulous. And it's all
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: commercial free. And it's also juicy. And no one ever leaves.
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: And it changes their lives. And you can go back
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: and I'll comment on a couple things that I couldn't
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: comment on here.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: No, just kidding. And so much more. Thank you.
- 1:22:54Speaker 7: They think you're done for the day. But they don't
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: a treat. With eight flavours to choose from, you can
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: choose the flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
