- 0:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna need a lot more sunscreen. It's one more thing.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I'm strong and getty.
- 0:05Speaker 2: One more thing.
- 0:13Speaker 1: A couple of elderly nudists are missing. It's probably a
- 0:16Speaker 1: tragic story, so I don't want to get caught up
- 0:19Speaker 1: on that end of it. It would seem that something
- 0:22Speaker 1: bad has happened. But I think they're both in their
- 0:24Speaker 1: seventies and they've disappeared, and they found their car and anyway,
- 0:31Speaker 1: I think I think foul play was involved, but I
- 0:34Speaker 1: don't want to get stuck on that part. I just
- 0:36Speaker 1: when I was reading the story in the La Times,
- 0:38Speaker 1: this happened in southern California. It mentioned that they were
- 0:42Speaker 1: both members of the Olive Dell nudist ranch. That's where
- 0:49Speaker 1: they lived. So this isn't Do you know anything about
- 0:51Speaker 1: newdist camps or anything there, Katie, Yep.
- 0:54Speaker 3: There was one right up the street from my childhood home.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Okay, good, now we can want to delve into that.
- 1:01Speaker 2: So there was that coming.
- 1:02Speaker 4: There was a newdest camp right up the road from
- 1:05Speaker 4: your childhood a home. It was like the running joke
- 1:08Speaker 4: in town too. A couple of my my friend in
- 1:12Speaker 4: high school. It was her parents' property and we used
- 1:14Speaker 4: to drive down there and try to see if we
- 1:16Speaker 4: could see in, but the gate was too far away
- 1:18Speaker 4: from where they all hung out, so I never actually
- 1:19Speaker 4: got to see the inside.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And everybody was aware of it.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Mm hm.
- 1:24Speaker 1: And so would people go play volleyball? It's always volleyball,
- 1:28Speaker 1: I guess, because you like to think things, see things
- 1:30Speaker 1: bouncing up and down. I don't know what it is
- 1:31Speaker 1: with volleyball and nudists.
- 1:33Speaker 2: But well, you don't need a lot of equipment balling
- 1:35Speaker 2: in net.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 5: It was at the dead end of a canyon too,
- 1:39Speaker 5: so you could kind of always tell. If somebody drove
- 1:40Speaker 5: past a certain point, you're like, oh, they're going to
- 1:43Speaker 5: the newdy camp.
- 1:44Speaker 1: So it was so it was like somebody's home with
- 1:49Speaker 1: some acreage, and people would go there and be naked
- 1:52Speaker 1: for whatever reason, which I've never quite understood. I'm not
- 1:56Speaker 1: super judgmental about it. It's just I don't understand why
- 1:59Speaker 1: that makes you feel more relaxed or free or whatever.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I just it's natural. See the natural man, the natural woman.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I got hairy legs, but I don't I don't want
- 2:10Speaker 1: to see that. That was my whole I'm going to
- 2:12Speaker 1: need more sunscreen. I don't want the sunshining on various
- 2:15Speaker 1: parts of me. I don't even want to on my
- 2:17Speaker 1: arms or neck because I don't want to get sunburned.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I don't want to sit out on a chair naked.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I don't want to look at your genitalia while I eat, well.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Look at your food.
- 2:29Speaker 6: Then again, there's a lot of harsh judgment masquerading his
- 2:34Speaker 6: questions here. Anyway, But so that was I'm guessing it
- 2:40Speaker 6: was a normal house, and then people would just go
- 2:42Speaker 6: there occasionally for parties and be naked.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Is that right.
- 2:47Speaker 5: It was called the like the newdest commune, so I
- 2:49Speaker 5: think some people lived there.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 2:51Speaker 5: There was also a membership thing you could do. I
- 2:54Speaker 5: didn't really dive too deep into that.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Okay, okay, And I got the idea from your description
- 2:58Speaker 6: it's it's not a house, percon is a ranch.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it was a farm style home and then the
- 3:04Speaker 5: nudiest colony that.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Was what it was called, the nudist call.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Okay, yes, Michael, this is my experience is that people
- 3:10Speaker 4: that want to be naked, I don't want to see
- 3:12Speaker 4: you naked.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Usually it's not it's not like the super sexy crowd.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It's a I don't know what it is. But so
- 3:21Speaker 1: the headline in the La Times was Southern California couple
- 3:23Speaker 1: living on nudist ranch mysteriously disappear. And again I don't
- 3:26Speaker 1: want to get into the crime part of it because
- 3:27Speaker 1: it might be horrible.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Or less scene wearing nothing.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yes exactly. She's seventy three, he's seventy nine and has dementia.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So I don't know if he meant to be a
- 3:36Speaker 1: nudist or she just told him, no, you're a nudist.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I am, no, you are, and he had to go
- 3:41Speaker 1: along with it. I don't know what's happening there. And
- 3:45Speaker 1: they disappeared, along with their dog Cuddles. Neither one of them,
- 3:50Speaker 1: the two or the dog have been seen. But they
- 3:52Speaker 1: live on this ranch. It's a giant, one hundred acre
- 3:57Speaker 1: many home. Because then I went to the website of
- 4:00Speaker 1: Olive Dell RV Ranch in southern California. It's one hundred
- 4:05Speaker 1: acres many homes of people who live nude all the time.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I guess is the way it is. And then they
- 4:13Speaker 1: have all these I can read there from the little
- 4:15Speaker 1: fly here Olive Dell Ranch r V Park, Olive Dell Ranch.
- 4:19Speaker 1: We offer long term RV leases with a variety of
- 4:22Speaker 1: space options. Our amenities include a pool, okay, naked in
- 4:24Speaker 1: the pool, jacuzzi naked people. I don't want to be
- 4:27Speaker 1: in the jacuzzie with you naked. A restaurant again, I
- 4:30Speaker 1: don't want to look at your gena tel you all
- 4:32Speaker 1: am eating. We also have a clubhouse where activities are
- 4:34Speaker 1: held as well as special events. There are five miles
- 4:38Speaker 1: of hiking trails. Surely you get to wear shoes, right,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I ain't hiken Bear for us? Sure yeah, but with
- 4:45Speaker 1: your wang and swinging shoes.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Wait, I'm looking at their website as well, and it
- 4:50Speaker 5: says family friendly.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you're bringing people under eighteen? Or no? Are
- 4:59Speaker 1: you just talking about cuz and in laws? Plenty of privacies.
- 5:03Speaker 1: We are on one hundred acres surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
- 5:08Speaker 1: All kinds of different amenities. Again, the hiking trails of
- 5:11Speaker 1: the pool. The clubhouse looks very, very nice. They show drinking.
- 5:15Speaker 1: They have a karaoke again, so amateur singing and I
- 5:20Speaker 1: get to see you naked. Fantastic.
- 5:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I've gotta admit fresh hell is going on shot great,
- 5:28Speaker 5: so I get to hear bad singing while I look
- 5:31Speaker 5: at your average naked bod.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Where do I sign up?
- 5:36Speaker 6: You know, to this point, I was just kind of
- 5:39Speaker 6: tired by the obvious jokes. But I got to admit
- 5:44Speaker 6: the karaoke felting out to karaoke. You got me, you
- 5:47Speaker 6: got me?
- 5:48Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. I'm just looking at their events.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Shot through the in your tube blo.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Let's see, this month they've got the glow dance party.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Uh.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Next month they've got kids trick or treats. See, this
- 6:04Speaker 3: is weird to me.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I assume they're dressed for the kids stuff. You'd have
- 6:08Speaker 1: to be by law, I think, But still it's weird.
- 6:10Speaker 1: They're they're the kids that got to be aware. Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Well, and at the risk of bringing some seriousness to
- 6:17Speaker 6: this childish discussion, I think the idea is that nudity
- 6:21Speaker 6: is only sexual when it's sexual, that it's the natural
- 6:25Speaker 6: state of human beings, and there's no no need to
- 6:28Speaker 6: be ashamed or weirded out by it or whatever. Nobody's
- 6:31Speaker 6: getting it on just because they're naked. It's it's much
- 6:34Speaker 6: more advanced than you, you close, simpletons.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Uh. So, all the societies on earth currently except for
- 6:42Speaker 1: a couple of tribes in the middle of nowhere are
- 6:45Speaker 1: wrong and they're right.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 6:47Speaker 1: It seems crazy to me again.
- 6:49Speaker 5: November November sixteenth is the cheesecake Challenge, Jack, You could
- 6:53Speaker 5: sign up for that.
- 6:54Speaker 3: I like that.
- 6:54Speaker 2: What do I have to do with the cheesecake? What's
- 6:56Speaker 2: the challenge? Exactly?
- 6:58Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I like, they got a pot luck in January. Oh man,
- 7:03Speaker 1: your potato salad is fantastic, and your boobs are hanging
- 7:07Speaker 1: there in front of me.
- 7:09Speaker 3: So December seventh they've got tree trimming.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Oh I like, not literally, like you know, Christmas tree decoration.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Easter egg hunt bending. I don't want to watch you
- 7:20Speaker 1: bend over to pick up the easter eggs. Tell me
- 7:22Speaker 1: when you're gonna bend over so I can face the
- 7:24Speaker 1: other direction.
- 7:27Speaker 5: It's got to be a met problem that I can't
- 7:29Speaker 5: wrap my head around this because you know, obviously people
- 7:31Speaker 5: enjoy it.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I just I know most people.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Don't though, that's my point. Like ninety nine percent of
- 7:38Speaker 1: people want zero to do with this. Bingo hikes DJ
- 7:46Speaker 1: What do you do uh DJ at a nudis ranch?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Just take those old records off the shelf from the DJ.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I know, I know it gets them on the floor. Okay, anyway,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I hope these two people are okay, and they're old.
- 8:06Speaker 1: The old naked people just find the really odd. Don't
- 8:12Speaker 1: don't go well, I won't. So you're just you're just
- 8:16Speaker 1: all about the freedom aspect of this. I agree. I
- 8:19Speaker 1: don't want to outlawed. It just seems odd to me.
- 8:22Speaker 2: So you got horseback riding?
- 8:25Speaker 6: I would I would demand can I just throw some
- 8:28Speaker 6: short sound or something?
- 8:30Speaker 3: Right?
- 8:30Speaker 2: Look, my jeans would be better, but can I just
- 8:32Speaker 2: do some shorts?
- 8:33Speaker 5: Maybe?
- 8:33Speaker 1: Look? Are you gonna kick me out of here if
- 8:35Speaker 1: I put on a pair of underwear before I get
- 8:37Speaker 1: astride this wire haired horse? I agree? Come on, let's
- 8:44Speaker 1: have a little flexibility.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I will saddle.
- 8:48Speaker 5: I appreciate the colony aspect of it because their places
- 8:52Speaker 5: like Baker Beach in San Francisco, where half of the
- 8:55Speaker 5: beach is nude and the other half is just not.
- 8:57Speaker 5: So you don't really know what you're gonna get when
- 8:59Speaker 5: you go. At least they're kind of hanging out together.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Yeah, clearly I don't want to be I think you're right.
- 9:10Speaker 1: The karaoke is what put it over the top. I
- 9:12Speaker 1: just think it combines two things that just, hmm, that
- 9:17Speaker 1: is just too much. I might be able to put
- 9:20Speaker 1: up with the being around naked listening to a good band.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I might be able to put up with the amateur
- 9:26Speaker 1: singing clothed r but the average nudity with the amateur
- 9:30Speaker 1: singing would be a lot to take in.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You're asking too much.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You're asking for me to overlook too many things.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Right exactly, I'm gonna go out by the pool and
- 9:43Speaker 6: read a book naked.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Here's a short report on the newdest resort.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Sounds like from your experience you can see someone actually
- 9:50Speaker 5: walking away with a cheesecake there after the cheesecake factory
- 9:54Speaker 5: was looted.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Unclear where they may have gotten that. So I guess
- 9:58Speaker 3: that's the cheesecake festival that are going to have.
- 10:00Speaker 6: It's a stretch, Michael, I know, well, I guess that's it.
