- 0:31Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I'm coming to you
- 0:34Speaker 1: from La Quinta, California in the Palm Desert, Palm Springs area,
- 0:39Speaker 1: because I am hosting about 30 people for Thanksgiving here
- 0:44Speaker 1: in a couple of days, but I'm so excited. All
- 0:46Speaker 1: my kids are coming. Kinsey Drake's already here helping me.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Brandon's coming home from Oregon in a couple of days.
- 0:53Speaker 1: So I'm very excited, but I wasn't going to leave
- 0:55Speaker 1: my Juicy Scoopers without any juice. which is why one
- 0:59Speaker 1: of my favorite Patreon episodes dropped Friday. It was a
- 1:03Speaker 1: little different. It's a very juicy interview with my friend Gage,
- 1:08Speaker 1: and we also brought in Dr. Drew because it's about
- 1:10Speaker 1: co-parenting in Hollywood is really the theme of the episode,
- 1:15Speaker 1: and it sparked a lot of conversation, and that's available
- 1:18Speaker 1: on Patreon right now. And you just go to patreon.com
- 1:22Speaker 1: slash Juicy Scoop and join. Also, once you join, we'll
- 1:25Speaker 1: have instructions on there coming soon about how to make
- 1:28Speaker 1: sure that you have your correct address there so that
- 1:31Speaker 1: you can get our personal family Christmas card. Okay, I
- 1:35Speaker 1: also want to remind you guys that the day after Thanksgiving,
- 1:40Speaker 1: my reality TV lovers can watch the American Reality TV Awards,
- 1:45Speaker 1: which I hosted. You heard me talk about it. I
- 1:47Speaker 1: have many different looks. But really, so many great stars.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm excited to see it because I was running backstage
- 1:54Speaker 1: changing because I came out five different times. But it
- 1:59Speaker 1: was just all the reality stars, the biggest reality stars.
- 2:02Speaker 1: We had JoJo Siwa presenting. We had Tamara Judge. Sutton
- 2:06Speaker 1: made an appearance from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Omarosa,
- 2:10Speaker 1: Kendra Wilkinson. And really fun things throughout the night. And
- 2:15Speaker 1: my friends who came said the show was great. And
- 2:18Speaker 1: I want to tell you, you're going to be able
- 2:19Speaker 1: to watch that on Friday, Black Friday. And that's November 29th.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And you can see it on the Roku channel, Pluto TV,
- 2:28Speaker 1: Zumo Play. All of it is right here. I remember
- 2:33Speaker 1: to subscribe to my YouTube because I have the photos
- 2:35Speaker 1: here too on the YouTube. And we spent a lot
- 2:37Speaker 1: of time to make that special for the people that
- 2:39Speaker 1: want to watch it. But I need you to subscribe.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Like and share. Okay. Sad news, interesting news. Tom Sandoval
- 2:47Speaker 1: and Tom Schwartz of Vanderpump Rules, also co-owners of Schwartz
- 2:54Speaker 1: and Sandy's. That was their own restaurant that did not
- 2:57Speaker 1: involve Lisa Vanderpump. Of course, they're part of TomTom, but
- 3:00Speaker 1: they have a much smaller ownership in that. This was
- 3:03Speaker 1: the restaurant we saw in Vanderpump that they spent so
- 3:05Speaker 1: much time really having a unique decorative vibe with. Um,
- 3:09Speaker 1: some people wondered about its success based on its location.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I feel like Tom Tom and Vander and a pump
- 3:16Speaker 1: and sir did really well because you could go on
- 3:19Speaker 1: a little pub crawl there. It's right there in West Hollywood.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It's easy walkable. You know, if West Hollywood is known
- 3:28Speaker 1: for the gay bars, but also it's just such a
- 3:30Speaker 1: fun place. It has so many great dining options. And
- 3:33Speaker 1: so that was a great location. They went into a
- 3:36Speaker 1: different part of LA, which is still really nice. but
- 3:39Speaker 1: it's not like a pub crawl situation. And I always
- 3:41Speaker 1: wonder if that is what might've been the issue with it,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you know, being successful than kind of dipping when the
- 3:47Speaker 1: show wasn't on the air. And then of course, when
- 3:50Speaker 1: scan of all happened, um, people, you know, said boycott,
- 3:55Speaker 1: you know, uh, Schwartz and Sandy's and all this other stuff.
- 3:58Speaker 1: We hate Tom Sandoval. Then they filmed again and people
- 4:02Speaker 1: started going back there and, Well, they are closing it.
- 4:06Speaker 1: They are closing it, and they both made a statement.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I read Tom Sandoval's first, which was kind of interesting.
- 4:12Speaker 1: He said, it's with a heavy heart. It's always with
- 4:15Speaker 1: a heavy heart. We made the difficult decision to close
- 4:18Speaker 1: Schwartz and Sandy's at the end of December. And then
- 4:22Speaker 1: he goes on to say some things. He said, we'll
- 4:24Speaker 1: be hosting a series of events and have availability to
- 4:26Speaker 1: host other things leading up to the closing nights. But
- 4:30Speaker 1: the allure of being associated with reality TV has hidden
- 4:33Speaker 1: what is an amazing spot and location for LA locals
- 4:36Speaker 1: as well. I highly recommend you check us out, especially
- 4:39Speaker 1: if you haven't yet. Let's get together one last time.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's sad because I feel like even if they have
- 4:46Speaker 1: the most incredible December, I don't know that they can
- 4:51Speaker 1: stay open. They've made this statement, so it sounds like
- 4:53Speaker 1: this is really done now. There is a lot of
- 4:55Speaker 1: talk if Vanderpump will come back at all or with
- 4:59Speaker 1: what cast. I don't think this is a great sign
- 5:02Speaker 1: for it coming back. I could see it not coming
- 5:05Speaker 1: back and just some of the favorite players going on
- 5:09Speaker 1: the Valley because Lisa has her places in Nevada and
- 5:15Speaker 1: the one pump has closed. I don't know. Maybe it
- 5:20Speaker 1: is time. Maybe things can't last forever. But they do
- 5:24Speaker 1: do other things, and they are TV personalities. They were
- 5:27Speaker 1: both so delightful to me when I went to the
- 5:30Speaker 1: Vanderpump Dog Gala. Tom Sandoval was with his girlfriend, who
- 5:36Speaker 1: seemed very nice, very pretty. Tom Schwartz is just one
- 5:39Speaker 1: of the nicest, most delightful guys. I would really like
- 5:42Speaker 1: to see him do some other things. He's just a
- 5:45Speaker 1: very genuine, nice person. He's never been on Juicy Scoop.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But I think he's good looking and charming and I
- 5:51Speaker 1: could see him doing other things in TV. Um, so hopefully,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you know, other things will come from it, but we
- 5:57Speaker 1: all know most people should know how hard a restaurant
- 6:00Speaker 1: is to do. I think it's one of the hardest businesses. So,
- 6:03Speaker 1: you know, there you go with that. Also, when I
- 6:06Speaker 1: was there, Tom Schwartz was like giving a lot of
- 6:08Speaker 1: people free drinks and I told him that I'm like, Tom,
- 6:10Speaker 1: you should, I mean, it's one thing to give me
- 6:12Speaker 1: a free drink, but please like people that you don't know,
- 6:15Speaker 1: he's just like drinks on me and dah, dah, dah.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And I said that when I saw him, Before I
- 6:19Speaker 1: knew it was closing, I'm like, maybe stop giving everybody
- 6:21Speaker 1: so many drinks for free. Maybe that would be more profitable.
- 6:25Speaker 1: But that's the kind of guy he is. He's just
- 6:27Speaker 1: sort of nice and delightful. Okay. Oh, and then, yeah,
- 6:31Speaker 1: and then Tom Schwartz, he did his too. And his
- 6:34Speaker 1: was more like, come on, come to have your holiday
- 6:37Speaker 1: parties here. Have your, you know, funeral for your pet lizard, whatever.
- 6:42Speaker 1: We've got it going. And it just, I don't know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: it just kind of made me sad. Well. Let me
- 6:47Speaker 1: tell you the latest with the Menendez brothers. You guys,
- 6:50Speaker 1: this is a big day. So we might have a
- 6:54Speaker 1: decision when you listen to this right now. We don't.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So their attorney is Mark Garagos. Mark Garagos is a
- 7:02Speaker 1: very famous attorney. He also represented Scott Peterson in the
- 7:07Speaker 1: Lacey Peterson case in his trial. He has now come
- 7:11Speaker 1: forward to help them to get the charges, the conviction
- 7:16Speaker 1: from the premeditated first degree murder to manslaughter. If he's
- 7:21Speaker 1: able to convince the judge of that, then the time
- 7:25Speaker 1: would have been already time served. They've already been in
- 7:27Speaker 1: there for 35 years. That would have satisfied that. Thus,
- 7:30Speaker 1: maybe they could get out by Christmas. That's the whole thing.
- 7:33Speaker 1: But the judge has to look at it and then
- 7:35Speaker 1: they're supposed to, and then if he says, yes, I
- 7:37Speaker 1: think this is a compelling case, then they'll come back
- 7:40Speaker 1: December 11th. with Mark Garagos, and he's going to bring
- 7:43Speaker 1: in six witnesses, many from the prison, to show what
- 7:47Speaker 1: an exemplatory life they've led behind bars, helping people. They
- 7:51Speaker 1: have college degrees from UC Irvine, all these things. Saying,
- 7:57Speaker 1: you know, this is why they should be let out,
- 7:59Speaker 1: because they're not going to be a danger to society.
- 8:03Speaker 1: And so that'll be very interesting to see. Our DA, Garcon,
- 8:07Speaker 1: who is now got voted out, he very much wants it, so...
- 8:11Speaker 1: I don't know if it's going to have take effect
- 8:13Speaker 1: with the new guy, but that's what's happening. But the
- 8:16Speaker 1: juice is about Lyle Menendez's love life. So for those
- 8:21Speaker 1: of you that I've talked about this many times, I
- 8:24Speaker 1: will quickly remind you of the story of Lyle Menendez.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He is the older brother of Eric. Eric has been
- 8:30Speaker 1: married to his wife for like 20 something years, 25
- 8:33Speaker 1: years or something. Her name's Tammy. Tammy has a daughter
- 8:37Speaker 1: from a previous relationship, a previous marriage. And that guy
- 8:43Speaker 1: is no longer alive. And then in that, she connected
- 8:48Speaker 1: with Eric. And so her daughter only knows Eric as
- 8:52Speaker 1: her father. They move close to the prison and they
- 8:55Speaker 1: visit him all the time. There is no conjugal visits
- 8:58Speaker 1: for the level of convict that they are in California.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So these people have never had sex, but it appears
- 9:04Speaker 1: that in the photos and stuff, they can hug, they
- 9:07Speaker 1: can take a photo, they can like talk and hang out.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So he has his wife. His older brother, Lyle, is divorced.
- 9:15Speaker 1: He was married to a girl named Ana Menendez. Ana
- 9:18Speaker 1: Menendez was shocked when she found out after marrying him
- 9:23Speaker 1: because she fell in love with him watching court TV.
- 9:26Speaker 1: This girl came from Chicago, was living with a struggling
- 9:28Speaker 1: actor whom I met, and every day he came home
- 9:30Speaker 1: from not getting an acting job, he'd see that she
- 9:33Speaker 1: was watching court TV. And then one day, Lyle Menendez
- 9:36Speaker 1: called from prison and said, put my girlfriend on the phone.
- 9:40Speaker 1: And he's like, what? And I jokingly said, well, you know,
- 9:45Speaker 1: he's on TV and you're not. So maybe that's why
- 9:48Speaker 1: your girlfriend was so starstruck by being with Lyle. She
- 9:51Speaker 1: marries him, finds out many years into it that he
- 9:56Speaker 1: is seeing other women, meaning they're coming to visit him.
- 9:59Speaker 1: He's corresponding with them. him. She found out he was
- 10:01Speaker 1: cheating on him, on her in that way. They get divorced.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Then he meets this girl, Rebecca. Rebecca and Tammy have
- 10:09Speaker 1: been working together, hoping that there's a chance that they
- 10:12Speaker 1: could one day be with their husbands outside of prison.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Now we're so close to this happening. And Rebecca has filed, announced, well,
- 10:24Speaker 1: let me not file. She announced her separation from him
- 10:27Speaker 1: because he has a new girlfriend. Lyle has a new girlfriend.
- 10:32Speaker 1: She's 21. He is like 55 or six or something.
- 10:37Speaker 1: She's 21 from, she's British, came over here. They have
- 10:42Speaker 1: taken photos in the prison-like area. Here they are. She's
- 10:46Speaker 1: a cute blonde and they're supposedly in love. But then
- 10:51Speaker 1: Daily Mail and Raider Online are also reporting that he
- 10:55Speaker 1: has another lover, a guy named Chino. Chino's been in
- 11:00Speaker 1: the prison and they've been going on. They've had this
- 11:03Speaker 1: going on for two years, allegedly. People in the prison
- 11:07Speaker 1: say they're cuddle buddies. They sleep in the same bunk.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And he, according to the people in the prison, Lyle
- 11:14Speaker 1: is the woman per se. in the relationship. So I
- 11:19Speaker 1: don't know how Chino feels about Rebecca or this British
- 11:22Speaker 1: girl or what's going to happen to Chino if, in fact,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Lyle gets out. And I wonder if any of this
- 11:30Speaker 1: stupid news will make anyone feel less or more sympathetic
- 11:34Speaker 1: to the plight of Lyle and Eric getting out, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 1: being that he's a cheater, being that does that mean
- 11:41Speaker 1: he's really a liar, you know. Did he ever lie
- 11:44Speaker 1: or exaggerate about anything that went on that maybe caused
- 11:46Speaker 1: him to kill the parents? But there we are. This
- 11:51Speaker 1: was interesting, and I just heard about this. It popped up.
- 11:55Speaker 1: But this guy did a YouTube video. He said he was,
- 12:00Speaker 1: his name is Choke No Joke. And he went to Jamie,
- 12:03Speaker 1: according to him, he said, I went to Jamie Foxx's stand-up,
- 12:09Speaker 1: which is going to be a Netflix special. And he
- 12:12Speaker 1: said in the taping, they did like three tapings, and
- 12:16Speaker 1: he said he was there, that Jamie Foxx said, I'm
- 12:20Speaker 1: the one who called the FBI on Diddy because he
- 12:23Speaker 1: poisoned me. And I guess a couple other people that
- 12:27Speaker 1: have been in the audience have attested to this. Is
- 12:30Speaker 1: this true? Is this a joke? Was it a throwaway something?
- 12:34Speaker 1: Is it going to really make the special? Is the
- 12:37Speaker 1: goal to have it get out, have us thinking, is
- 12:40Speaker 1: this really going to be it? Or was it never
- 12:43Speaker 1: said and it's being put out there so we make
- 12:45Speaker 1: sure we watch it the moment it airs? kind of
- 12:48Speaker 1: like Chris Rock's Netflix special was done live, and that
- 12:52Speaker 1: was the first and only time we had any video
- 12:55Speaker 1: of him talking about when he was slapped by Will Smith.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And I wonder if... you know, if he'd ever practiced
- 13:05Speaker 1: that in front of anybody, if I was going to
- 13:07Speaker 1: drop a bomb like that on my special, I wouldn't
- 13:09Speaker 1: be doing it, you know, a couple months before at
- 13:12Speaker 1: the Irvine Improv for five times in front of, you know,
- 13:15Speaker 1: thousands of people. I wouldn't be doing that. So is
- 13:19Speaker 1: that true? We never really knew what happened with Jamie
- 13:22Speaker 1: Foxx's health care or what. But he was recently in
- 13:26Speaker 1: Atlanta and he was also singing karaoke with Real Housewives.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So Who knows? The point is he's healthy. He's doing good.
- 13:33Speaker 1: He's got a Netflix special coming out. What he knows
- 13:36Speaker 1: about Diddy, I don't know. But I mean, that would
- 13:40Speaker 1: be pretty juicy if in fact he really is saying
- 13:44Speaker 1: that joke or not. This model is saying that she
- 13:47Speaker 1: was hired to work on a music video and Kanye
- 13:50Speaker 1: was very gross in the way he described her. He's like,
- 13:53Speaker 1: she's Asian. He's like, I want that Asian girl right there.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And then he was like, sticking his fingers down her
- 13:58Speaker 1: throat and she was scared and violated. Now this was
- 14:02Speaker 1: like 10 years ago, but that's one lawsuit. He's got
- 14:05Speaker 1: the other lawsuit from the previous assistant. We've gone through
- 14:09Speaker 1: that one who said that she was privy to all
- 14:12Speaker 1: these weird texts from him that he would send to
- 14:14Speaker 1: her about Bianca and wanting to follow Bianca and wanting
- 14:18Speaker 1: to follow Kim Kardashian and, and then tormenting her saying like, um, Oh,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I actually drugged you this one night. We got together.
- 14:26Speaker 1: All these things. So there's all these different lawsuits now
- 14:29Speaker 1: against Kanye as well. I don't know if he'll be
- 14:32Speaker 1: at Kardashian Christmas. I don't know if Scott will be
- 14:34Speaker 1: there either. I won't be there. You know I got
- 14:38Speaker 1: the boot. Okay, anyway, because I talk about stuff like this,
- 14:41Speaker 1: who cares? The Juicy Scoopers are worth it. You deserve
- 14:43Speaker 1: all the juice, which is sometimes when people, when I
- 14:45Speaker 1: put out juice, whether it's here on Patreon, people will
- 14:48Speaker 1: be like, I don't know why she did this. I
- 14:50Speaker 1: don't know. Given the opportunity, don't you want to hear
- 14:52Speaker 1: the juice? Aren't I doing my job? Okay. This is
- 14:56Speaker 1: very sad. So Liam Payne was buried. He had his funeral,
- 15:01Speaker 1: but there's really more to this story. And according to
- 15:04Speaker 1: TMZ and their investigators, they believe this is what happened.
- 15:11Speaker 1: So yes, Liam Payne was probably most likely, you know,
- 15:15Speaker 1: on drugs. We know he was on drugs. We know
- 15:17Speaker 1: he was on alcohol. And according to witnesses, he was
- 15:21Speaker 1: acting erratically in the lobby of this hotel. Three men
- 15:26Speaker 1: that worked at the hotel were probably instructed to remove
- 15:30Speaker 1: him and put him in his room. And they did that.
- 15:33Speaker 1: And when they put him in his room, they allegedly
- 15:36Speaker 1: locked him in there so he couldn't get out. And
- 15:39Speaker 1: then even one person then called the police and said,
- 15:43Speaker 1: we're worried about this guy. He's in his room and
- 15:45Speaker 1: there's a balcony there and we're worried about him. When
- 15:49Speaker 1: he was found, so then we know that he jumped
- 15:53Speaker 1: off his balcony. At first people thought it was suicide.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Other people thought it could have been like a psychotic
- 15:59Speaker 1: break brought on by maybe some type of hallucination drugs
- 16:02Speaker 1: or something. But now people believe that was never his
- 16:06Speaker 1: intention to end his life. And then he was somewhat
- 16:10Speaker 1: coherent because when he was found, he had a backpack
- 16:13Speaker 1: on with items. And also there was another bag found
- 16:17Speaker 1: on the balcony right below him that had whiskey and
- 16:21Speaker 1: some pills. And it actually said for Liam. So the
- 16:24Speaker 1: thought is, was he attempting to jump down to the
- 16:28Speaker 1: next balcony, get that, get out? Because according to his friends,
- 16:33Speaker 1: he has like a real issue with being trapped in
- 16:36Speaker 1: a room. It happened on tour at One Direction. And
- 16:39Speaker 1: he felt very, you know, he just doesn't like that confinement.
- 16:42Speaker 1: It also happened somewhere else. where he actually did successfully
- 16:47Speaker 1: manage to go down and escape a room and get
- 16:51Speaker 1: out by going outside the building or on a, you know,
- 16:55Speaker 1: on a balcony. So now they're wondering that may have
- 16:59Speaker 1: not so been his intention at all, but whose fault
- 17:02Speaker 1: is it? Is it the three guys that were just
- 17:04Speaker 1: the workers that were told this guy's freaking out, get
- 17:07Speaker 1: him in his room until we can get authorities here.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Is it the person that sold him the drugs? Is it,
- 17:12Speaker 1: you know, the people he was hanging out with the
- 17:14Speaker 1: night before. It sounds like it was just a lot
- 17:17Speaker 1: of horrible series of events, but it definitely doesn't, to me,
- 17:21Speaker 1: sound like it really was like a suicide or anything
- 17:24Speaker 1: like that. Very sad. This is very sad, too, and
- 17:28Speaker 1: very bizarre juicy crime here. This girl was traveling from Hawaii,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and she stopped in L.A., and she had a quick layover,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and she was supposed to get on her plane to
- 17:39Speaker 1: go to New York to visit her aunt. She never did.
- 17:42Speaker 1: made the flight, her name's Hannah. This was a few
- 17:44Speaker 1: weeks ago in November. She never made the flight to,
- 17:48Speaker 1: never got on the plane, never used her LA ticket.
- 17:53Speaker 1: For the first couple days that she was missing, people
- 17:55Speaker 1: in her life received very weird text messages that didn't
- 17:59Speaker 1: really seem like her, but she said, I think someone's
- 18:03Speaker 1: trying to take my identity, weird stuff is happening, things
- 18:07Speaker 1: like that. And she has not been found. So her
- 18:10Speaker 1: dad came out from Hawaii, And they were really, they
- 18:13Speaker 1: claim that they feel like the LAPD has not been
- 18:16Speaker 1: giving this enough attention. They don't know if she was trafficked,
- 18:19Speaker 1: kidnapped or what, but you know, with the weird, or
- 18:22Speaker 1: did someone have her phone and writing weird text messages
- 18:27Speaker 1: and why it doesn't really sound like it was in
- 18:28Speaker 1: her voice or was it in fact her? We don't know.
- 18:31Speaker 1: We don't know where she is. Very sadly, her dad
- 18:33Speaker 1: came out here and they say they believe he also
- 18:37Speaker 1: has ended his life by jumping out of a parking
- 18:41Speaker 1: structure at LAX. And I don't know enough details, but
- 18:46Speaker 1: that seems very weird. I wonder, is there surveillance cameras
- 18:50Speaker 1: showing that he willingly did this? Or was he maybe followed?
- 18:54Speaker 1: Did he finally find out something about her? Anyway, her
- 18:57Speaker 1: name is Hannah and we don't know where she is.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Very sad.
- 19:03Speaker 3: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 19:06Speaker 3: know about the drawer.
- 19:08Speaker 1: The drawer. Just the one square before bed. Or two,
- 19:15Speaker 1: you know.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Nobody's watching.
- 19:18Speaker 1: You deserve a treat.
- 19:22Speaker 3: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 19:25Speaker 3: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 19:37Speaker 2: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 19:40Speaker 2: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 19:44Speaker 2: way to turn them into their greatest strengths. Life is
- 19:47Speaker 2: one long lesson of chaos.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 19:52Speaker 3: filed against me.
- 19:53Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 19:55Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 19:58Speaker 2: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 20:01Speaker 2: you had to succeed in order to feel loved? He said,
- 20:03Speaker 2: I have a work debt. I need a home debt.
- 20:05Speaker 2: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 20:13Speaker 2: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 20:15Speaker 2: happens next.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:19Speaker 1: every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dar, I'm
- 20:22Speaker 1: not going to pull punches. You can use your voice
- 20:24Speaker 1: even if it's shaped.
- 20:25Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 20:39Speaker 1: Okay, here's some juicy juice for you. Fun juice. Secret
- 20:44Speaker 1: Lives of Mormon Wives. We talked about this show. We
- 20:47Speaker 1: had a couple of the girls on. Taylor was the star.
- 20:50Speaker 1: She was the one who popped off on TikTok. They
- 20:53Speaker 1: were these young Mormon moms. They all have long locks
- 20:56Speaker 1: and healthy skin. And they don't drink alcohol. They don't
- 21:00Speaker 1: have coffee. They are allowed soda pop. I guess it
- 21:04Speaker 1: doesn't have caffeine. but they do screw other people's husbands.
- 21:08Speaker 1: That's that part. Okay. They can do that. They can
- 21:11Speaker 1: get divorced and they can do soft swinging, or maybe
- 21:14Speaker 1: it's not full penetration, but they have fun with each other.
- 21:18Speaker 1: And they were doing videos as cute 20 something young moms.
- 21:22Speaker 1: And then they started to swing and Taylor was, was
- 21:26Speaker 1: it because she was the one that went and did
- 21:27Speaker 1: a tech talk and said, all right, you guys, I
- 21:29Speaker 1: guess it's out there. And it really wasn't out there.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It was probably just on some of these smaller subgroups
- 21:34Speaker 1: of gossips, you know, And she felt, I better just
- 21:37Speaker 1: address it on TikTok. Because I feel like if she
- 21:39Speaker 1: never had, well, we wouldn't have a show to watch,
- 21:41Speaker 1: that's for sure. Because that's what sparked the show. And
- 21:45Speaker 1: she comes out and says, yeah, and explains the whole story.
- 21:48Speaker 1: She since has done many interviews of how it went about.
- 21:51Speaker 1: But she was hanging out, you know, with this girl.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And this girl, Sammy, Sam's life, she broke down the
- 21:58Speaker 1: latest thing. So then the show starts. Secret Lives of
- 22:03Speaker 1: Mormon Wives. I'm like, okay, I'm watching it. Going, okay.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Which one of these girls was a swinger too? Whose
- 22:10Speaker 1: husband did this Taylor like make out with or go
- 22:13Speaker 1: to third or fourth base? I don't know. None of
- 22:16Speaker 1: them did. They were sort of cast. The real players
- 22:19Speaker 1: in it that also messed around, they weren't in it.
- 22:22Speaker 1: They either didn't want to be in it or whatever. Well,
- 22:25Speaker 1: now that one of the girls has come out and
- 22:28Speaker 1: she's done a five-part series on TikTok and she basically,
- 22:33Speaker 1: you know, is telling her side of the story. So
- 22:36Speaker 1: then Taylor pops back in and shares that this girl,
- 22:43Speaker 1: her name's Kenna, who was part of this swinging. And
- 22:48Speaker 1: what Taylor has said is the way the soft swinging started,
- 22:52Speaker 1: it really started soft. First, they actually had some cocktails, okay?
- 22:57Speaker 1: So they would get a little drunk. Then they would
- 23:00Speaker 1: start spinning the bottle, starting with just girls kissing each other.
- 23:03Speaker 1: So the husbands would sit back and be like, you
- 23:05Speaker 1: guys kiss. Then they'd be like, why don't you guys
- 23:07Speaker 1: kiss in lingerie? Then they'd be like, why don't we
- 23:10Speaker 1: all like make out on the bed together with our
- 23:13Speaker 1: respective spouses? Then why don't we swap spouses and just
- 23:17Speaker 1: like dry hump and in like chairs staring at each other.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Then a couple of the guys got caught feelings for
- 23:25Speaker 1: Taylor and was like, I want to see you more. I'm,
- 23:27Speaker 1: you know, and writing you. So anyway, this girl, um,
- 23:31Speaker 1: so Taylor shares, uh, A text from this girl kind
- 23:36Speaker 1: of saying, hope you're having fun in Moab. I'm drunk
- 23:39Speaker 1: and wish I was kissing you. And then Taylor also
- 23:42Speaker 1: shows a video of her dancing. Now her body's perfect.
- 23:45Speaker 1: She had her third kid or whatever, and her body's
- 23:48Speaker 1: perfect again. And she's like doing a butt lift. And
- 23:51Speaker 1: then she has a video of them kissing. So I'm like, wow,
- 23:55Speaker 1: this show has already gotten a green light. How happy
- 23:58Speaker 1: are those producers? So it's already going to come to
- 24:01Speaker 1: a second season. Is this girl, who's probably divorced as well,
- 24:05Speaker 1: trying to hop on this? Like, why is she coming
- 24:08Speaker 1: out with this now? She probably wants to be on
- 24:09Speaker 1: the show and realizing, like, I could be a lot
- 24:12Speaker 1: more interesting than these non-swinging Mormons. Also, I guess Taylor
- 24:18Speaker 1: was doing something at the CMAs, and she posted this
- 24:22Speaker 1: whole thing. When you go to the CMAs and none
- 24:24Speaker 1: of your mom-talk friends congratulate you, and then all the
- 24:27Speaker 1: other girls started sending and posting the times that they
- 24:31Speaker 1: did text her and say, oh, you look great, you're
- 24:34Speaker 1: doing great. And they're like, oh, I guess unless I
- 24:36Speaker 1: only congratulate her online publicly, it doesn't count. So listen,
- 24:42Speaker 1: welcome to reality TV, you swinging Mormons. Who killed JonBenet Ramsey?
- 24:51Speaker 1: This is a new doc, a three-part doc. It airs...
- 24:57Speaker 1: today well yeah it will have already you can already
- 24:59Speaker 1: watch it because it'll have aired monday um november 25th
- 25:04Speaker 1: and you know we all have people that are home
- 25:07Speaker 1: around and if you are a family that likes to
- 25:10Speaker 1: watch documentaries about murder as i do it's real fun
- 25:14Speaker 1: when you have someone like my sons and daughter who
- 25:18Speaker 1: may not know the story like i know it like
- 25:21Speaker 1: one of my frustrations with all these docs I'm like, God,
- 25:24Speaker 1: can someone just do a doc on something I don't
- 25:26Speaker 1: have complete extended knowledge of? I've watched everything. When it
- 25:34Speaker 1: was happening with JonBenet, I did it. To remind you,
- 25:37Speaker 1: this is this little girl who came from a wealthy family.
- 25:42Speaker 1: She had a brother. I think she had older step-siblings
- 25:46Speaker 1: as well, but her mom and dad were married, and
- 25:48Speaker 1: she had a brother who was a few years older
- 25:51Speaker 1: than she, and she was six. And she was in pageants.
- 25:55Speaker 1: This is before Toddlers and Tiaras got going. People were
- 26:00Speaker 1: just starting doing pageants. I found it fascinating. I had
- 26:07Speaker 1: nieces and nephews that did the pageants. And it was
- 26:12Speaker 1: an interesting vibe of how much it cost and do
- 26:15Speaker 1: all this stuff. So when she passed, which was horrible,
- 26:20Speaker 1: so she was murdered. On Christmas Day, the family found her,
- 26:24Speaker 1: and there's a lot to it. They originally thought the
- 26:27Speaker 1: parents had something to do with it. There was a
- 26:30Speaker 1: long ransom note that they found. That was like three
- 26:34Speaker 1: pages long. And in the investigations that I remember seeing
- 26:38Speaker 1: on 2020 and Dateline and all these different docs, the
- 26:42Speaker 1: handwriting experts believe that it was way too similar to
- 26:46Speaker 1: the mother. The mother has since passed of cancer. They
- 26:49Speaker 1: always claimed they were totally innocent in it and that
- 26:52Speaker 1: somebody must have broken into the home, kidnapped their daughter
- 26:55Speaker 1: in the middle of the night, assaulted her, and then
- 26:59Speaker 1: they found her in their basement within that day of
- 27:03Speaker 1: not waking up that morning, Christmas morning. She's not in
- 27:05Speaker 1: her bed. They didn't know where she was. They found
- 27:07Speaker 1: her that day. There was another documentary that was done
- 27:11Speaker 1: a few years ago, and I actually interviewed the people
- 27:13Speaker 1: that did it. They had to do a cease and desist.
- 27:16Speaker 1: They couldn't talk about it. There was some big lawsuit
- 27:18Speaker 1: that came from the Ramseys because they believed that the boy,
- 27:25Speaker 1: they concluded, these like forensic FBI specialists that go deep
- 27:30Speaker 1: into the JonBenet murder, they believed that the son killed her,
- 27:37Speaker 1: like a nine-year-old. They believed that he must have gotten
- 27:43Speaker 1: frustrated with her because there were times when he got
- 27:45Speaker 1: frustrated with her before. There was witnesses that say he
- 27:48Speaker 1: hit her head with a golf club that he was
- 27:50Speaker 1: kind of a violent kid, he was annoyed by his sister,
- 27:53Speaker 1: and they believe that maybe she was eating his food
- 27:57Speaker 1: or something because there was pineapple found in her stomach,
- 28:00Speaker 1: and that's what pissed him off, and he did something
- 28:03Speaker 1: that was a fatal blow, and then the parents, or
- 28:05Speaker 1: at least the mother, covered it up with the ransom
- 28:09Speaker 1: note and that situation. Also because the morning that they came,
- 28:15Speaker 1: because she didn't know where her daughter was on Christmas morning,
- 28:17Speaker 1: she was wearing her same clothes from the Christmas Eve
- 28:20Speaker 1: the night before. She said, I just threw on my clothes.
- 28:24Speaker 1: That was the first thing I put on, but it
- 28:25Speaker 1: was like a fancy outfit. She wasn't in her pajamas.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Was she up all night to cover this up? Would
- 28:32Speaker 1: you protect one child that didn't mean to harm your other?
- 28:37Speaker 1: So that was a big discussion, but the son who's
- 28:40Speaker 1: now grown They filed some lawsuit or something saying, this
- 28:44Speaker 1: is not true, I can't believe this is out there,
- 28:46Speaker 1: you know, there's no proof to it, whatever. So now
- 28:50Speaker 1: this other documentary, which is three parts, is really going
- 28:53Speaker 1: down the road of the police didn't do their job, that,
- 28:58Speaker 1: you know, the mom and dad were never responsible, and
- 29:02Speaker 1: why aren't they looking at all these other weird people
- 29:04Speaker 1: that were suspects all these years? And, you know, but
- 29:08Speaker 1: I've already seen online and stuff people already seeing, reminding
- 29:14Speaker 1: us of all the discrepancies and now what the dad
- 29:17Speaker 1: is saying in this documentary versus what he has said
- 29:20Speaker 1: in numerous interviews before, like the day of the, um,
- 29:25Speaker 1: that they found her within an hour, they called their
- 29:29Speaker 1: private pilot to fly to their house in Atlanta. And
- 29:32Speaker 1: people thought that seemed bad. Like they're trying to escape
- 29:35Speaker 1: somehow criminal charges. They always said, no, they told us
- 29:38Speaker 1: to get out of the house so they could really
- 29:41Speaker 1: investigate it. And we had a home there and we
- 29:43Speaker 1: have family there and we have access to our private plane.
- 29:46Speaker 1: So that's why we were going. But then in this doc,
- 29:49Speaker 1: I see that he's saying something a little different. So
- 29:51Speaker 1: I'm going to watch it. Um, and it'll be kind
- 29:54Speaker 1: of interesting to watch it through eyes that don't really
- 29:57Speaker 1: know anything about this crime the way I do. So.
- 30:00Speaker 1: This weekend was Bravo Fan Fest in Miami. It was
- 30:05Speaker 1: kind of like a mini BravoCon. Not that much scoop
- 30:08Speaker 1: came from it. I saw some clips, and I don't
- 30:12Speaker 1: believe it was sold out. The prices were high. We
- 30:16Speaker 1: looked into it. I was curious. And I think for
- 30:18Speaker 1: just a one-day ticket where you're just in a theater
- 30:21Speaker 1: hearing panels, it was $ 4. 50. For a little bit... some
- 30:25Speaker 1: type of other experience, VIP, where maybe you'd have a
- 30:27Speaker 1: chance of getting a photo if you wanted to wait
- 30:29Speaker 1: in line with $ 750. I thought that was really high, but,
- 30:33Speaker 1: you know, we'll see. The stars were mostly Real Housewives
- 30:38Speaker 1: of Miami and Summer House, and then they announced just
- 30:44Speaker 1: a couple weeks ago that they were adding, like, Kyle Richards,
- 30:47Speaker 1: but there were not any Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
- 30:49Speaker 1: There were no OGs of Real Housewives of New York.
- 30:54Speaker 1: But Andy got asked a question and he said, I
- 30:56Speaker 1: have made up with Carol Radzowel from Real Housewives of
- 31:01Speaker 1: New York. I love Carol. She's been on Jesus Skip
- 31:03Speaker 1: many times. My favorite, one of my favorite moments ever,
- 31:08Speaker 1: though sad for her because I feel like that's what
- 31:10Speaker 1: got her not to come back, got fired, is when,
- 31:15Speaker 1: you know, she was being so gaslit by Bethany the
- 31:17Speaker 1: whole season. She didn't understand what Bethany's issue was. And
- 31:21Speaker 1: then she looks at Andy and she goes, what Andy,
- 31:23Speaker 1: are you scared of Bethany too? And he's like, oh yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm scared of Bethany. And it was like, anyway, they
- 31:29Speaker 1: haven't talked in years, but according to Andy, they've made
- 31:32Speaker 1: up and they're good. Also, he said he's made up
- 31:35Speaker 1: with Mimi. Makes me think that he's realizing that these
- 31:39Speaker 1: people that were such dynamic stars of the past are
- 31:42Speaker 1: really what the fans are craving. The new Real Housewives
- 31:46Speaker 1: of New York is just not getting a lot of buzz.
- 31:49Speaker 1: People aren't into it. I find it quite boring. Um,
- 31:52Speaker 1: I think I already predicted that Jessel's husband is going
- 31:56Speaker 1: to be the next house husband pursuing standup comedy. I
- 32:00Speaker 1: hate that these predictions come true, but get ready because
- 32:04Speaker 1: they did such a cringy thing. They did a, their
- 32:08Speaker 1: whole storyline is, should we go and get our embryo
- 32:12Speaker 1: and have that girl? And he's like, I don't want
- 32:14Speaker 1: another kid. We have twin boys. And she's like, well,
- 32:17Speaker 1: I do. So they do a, um, a zoom with
- 32:23Speaker 1: this therapist from Mexico, which I'm like, you're in New
- 32:27Speaker 1: York city and we're not in COVID. I can't believe
- 32:30Speaker 1: that you can't find a marriage therapist in New York.
- 32:32Speaker 1: That would really, this is a common problem for people
- 32:35Speaker 1: of a certain economic state where it's like, this isn't
- 32:39Speaker 1: about money really. It's about, and we have, we can
- 32:42Speaker 1: decide when to put it in and everything. Cause we're
- 32:44Speaker 1: in the IVF world. Meanwhile, he decides because the guy's
- 32:49Speaker 1: Mexican and He's going to eat chips and salsa during
- 32:52Speaker 1: the therapy session. And she's like, and she's like, I mean,
- 32:55Speaker 1: with him, it's just, it never stops. It's like, if
- 32:57Speaker 1: you're married to Kevin Hart or Dave Chappelle, no, it's not.
- 33:02Speaker 1: We're watching the show. In fact, not many of us
- 33:04Speaker 1: are watching the show because it's so fucking boring and
- 33:06Speaker 1: you're not that funny. He's trying to be a food
- 33:09Speaker 1: influencer and, and trying and thinks this is going to
- 33:12Speaker 1: be a step to stand up comedy. I don't blame him. he,
- 33:15Speaker 1: all of a sudden cameras are, are following him around.
- 33:18Speaker 1: He's on a major TV show and he's like, wow,
- 33:20Speaker 1: I just skipped, you know, skipped a hundred steps. I
- 33:23Speaker 1: could like go on tour with Dave Chappelle. I could
- 33:25Speaker 1: open for Dave Chappelle. And this is what happens. These
- 33:28Speaker 1: people are delusional. So then I started going back and
- 33:30Speaker 1: watching the original Roni and it is just the best.
- 33:33Speaker 1: You can see it on Peacock. It's so good. It
- 33:36Speaker 1: does piss me off that when every time I go
- 33:38Speaker 1: on my Peacock to watch more. I have to click
- 33:41Speaker 1: on the new Roni just to get to the old
- 33:43Speaker 1: Roni of like Luann, Jill Zarin, Bethany, Alex McCord. Oh
- 33:48Speaker 1: my God. It's so good because they're not famous. They
- 33:52Speaker 1: don't really know what's going on. They're just starting to
- 33:54Speaker 1: get famous around episode about around the season three. And
- 33:59Speaker 1: it's fascinating. I think more and more they're realizing that,
- 34:02Speaker 1: you know what? These people were interesting to watch. Even
- 34:05Speaker 1: though we let some people get in our ear that
- 34:07Speaker 1: complained that, oh, you know what? They're politically incorrect and
- 34:12Speaker 1: they're too old and they're getting sloppy. It was magic.
- 34:16Speaker 1: It just was. I don't know. So hopefully we can
- 34:20Speaker 1: see the return of NeNe. If Carol ever wanted to
- 34:23Speaker 1: come back, I think that would be fantastic. Maybe it'll
- 34:25Speaker 1: create something different. I always like going on the ultimate
- 34:29Speaker 1: girls trip. we'll never see the Moroccan trip, but we
- 34:33Speaker 1: could do another one. We could do another one. And, um,
- 34:37Speaker 1: so anyway, but there was very little scoop that came
- 34:40Speaker 1: out of the, the Miami mini Bravo con thing, uh, from,
- 34:46Speaker 1: from Miami, uh, Julia and her wife, Martina Navarola, I
- 34:50Speaker 1: don't know if I say her name wrong, the tennis player.
- 34:53Speaker 1: They did adopt twin boys. I don't know how old
- 34:55Speaker 1: they are. Um, Alexia wants to get back with her husband, Todd.
- 35:00Speaker 1: He hates doing the show, and that's why they're separated,
- 35:02Speaker 1: but she still loves him and is desperate to get
- 35:04Speaker 1: back with him. Lenny and Lisa's divorce is final. We
- 35:10Speaker 1: know that Dr. Nicole has left and that they hired
- 35:15Speaker 1: her husband's ex-girlfriend. She's the new housewife. Probably why she left,
- 35:19Speaker 1: because they're really rich and they don't need it, and
- 35:21Speaker 1: she just had another baby, but also, like, really? Like
- 35:24Speaker 1: I said, what are they going to do, bring on
- 35:25Speaker 1: Leslie Bedork? on OC for Shannon next season. Don't be
- 35:30Speaker 1: surprised if it happens. Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Andy did say you're going to see one of the
- 35:37Speaker 1: toughest moments you've ever seen on a housewife show. I
- 35:39Speaker 1: believe it's Mary struggling with her son's addiction, which is
- 35:42Speaker 1: very sad. No mother should have to go through that
- 35:45Speaker 1: and brave to put it on camera and let's hope
- 35:47Speaker 1: he's doing better. Also today, it was one of the
- 35:51Speaker 1: other sites, I think it's OMG Bravo, has shared that
- 35:57Speaker 1: allegedly on some other site that Mary's house might be
- 36:01Speaker 1: in foreclosure. We don't see the step grandfather, her husband. Um,
- 36:08Speaker 1: she no longer has the church cause she can't. I mean,
- 36:12Speaker 1: we know the scoop behind it. Well, who's going to
- 36:14Speaker 1: go give her money for outfits for her to be
- 36:16Speaker 1: on housewives anymore. And we know that housewives doesn't pay
- 36:19Speaker 1: that much. So maybe she does have to leave that house.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Maybe she it's in foreclosure cause she's not paying just
- 36:25Speaker 1: like PK is not paying. So, um, also Bronwyn, uh,
- 36:31Speaker 1: who is married to the older gentleman, Todd, she did
- 36:36Speaker 1: an interview and in what, at one point she let
- 36:39Speaker 1: it slip. Like everyone thinks I'm, you know, a sugar baby,
- 36:43Speaker 1: but that's not it. Even though we're 25 years apart
- 36:45Speaker 1: or whatever they are. She met him when he was
- 36:47Speaker 1: 54 and she was 27. You do the math. She's like,
- 36:50Speaker 1: you know, that's not what I'm about. You know, we
- 36:52Speaker 1: really have a lot in common and we just, I
- 36:54Speaker 1: just find him fascinating with his coffee cups. And, um,
- 36:59Speaker 1: you never know. I just, I'm season 17. It might
- 37:02Speaker 1: be me who has a sugar baby. Well, that would
- 37:05Speaker 1: mean that you'd have to divorce Todd. So how strong
- 37:07Speaker 1: is your marriage that you're already looking forward to a
- 37:10Speaker 1: time of being divorced and, um, you know, finding a
- 37:15Speaker 1: young guy. I truly believe she loves this life so
- 37:20Speaker 1: much and I don't blame her. I'm not going back
- 37:23Speaker 1: to Alaska. She's not going back to her other life
- 37:26Speaker 1: of just buying weird clothes and, you know, only the
- 37:30Speaker 1: people at the restaurant can enjoy them. She loves it.
- 37:33Speaker 1: She always knew that she was for bigger and better things.
- 37:37Speaker 1: She will go to anything they ask her to go to.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Salt Lake Real Housewives of Salt Lake Ice Cream opening
- 37:43Speaker 1: in New York here or there. She's having a blast.
- 37:45Speaker 1: She's very interesting to watch. Their dynamic is juicy. And
- 37:51Speaker 1: so that's doing pretty well. Of course, OC, we saw
- 37:55Speaker 1: the finale of it. And at the very end, they
- 37:58Speaker 1: picked up cameras and they had a meeting with just
- 38:04Speaker 1: Heather Dubrow, Gina, Tamara, Shannon Bedore, and Emily. Fab Force
- 38:12Speaker 1: 5 or whatever that was from Beverly Hills. That's what
- 38:14Speaker 1: it reminded me of. No Alexis was there. No and
- 38:18Speaker 1: no Katie and Jen. So I think Well, we know
- 38:23Speaker 1: those five are definitely coming back. I think Shannon and
- 38:27Speaker 1: Tamara probably hate each other but are smart enough to
- 38:30Speaker 1: know that we're not giving up this million-dollar paycheck and
- 38:34Speaker 1: we need to make this work and put it aside
- 38:38Speaker 1: to stay on the show and keep it going. But
- 38:41Speaker 1: we don't know if they're looking at anybody else seriously
- 38:45Speaker 1: and if they'll bring anyone back. So Alexis and John
- 38:50Speaker 1: are still together every day. People are saying they're broken up.
- 38:54Speaker 1: They were just at like a wedding together and they're,
- 38:57Speaker 1: they have a wedding date planned for the fall. So
- 39:01Speaker 1: that would be pretty interesting if they kept them around
- 39:04Speaker 1: and we could see it, but who knows, but it
- 39:07Speaker 1: was a very interesting season. We know that real house
- 39:11Speaker 1: as of Beverly Hills is, um, Getting, you know, juicy
- 39:16Speaker 1: or we've only seen one episode, but I did come
- 39:21Speaker 1: across Morgan Wade and she wrote a song and it's
- 39:25Speaker 1: one of her new songs. And you know what? She
- 39:27Speaker 1: was on my TikTok and at least this one did
- 39:29Speaker 1: not have a lot of views or anything, but she
- 39:31Speaker 1: did sound great. And I was real raw. And she's like,
- 39:33Speaker 1: I just wrote this song. And it was about from
- 39:37Speaker 1: first person trying to get pregnant, being so disappointed when
- 39:41Speaker 1: you go to the CVS and you take the test
- 39:44Speaker 1: and it's negative and you dream of pitter patter feet
- 39:47Speaker 1: on the wood floors and It was really a good song.
- 39:51Speaker 1: And it made me wonder, you know, sometimes in my comments,
- 39:55Speaker 1: people say, wait, did she ever come out? Because she
- 39:57Speaker 1: had a husband before. Morgan Wade was on a local
- 40:00Speaker 1: TV station saying, my husband's in the band and here
- 40:03Speaker 1: we go. Kyle has never admitted that they were anything
- 40:08Speaker 1: but friends. And now she's no longer part of the show.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Kyle has promised her I won't say your name on
- 40:15Speaker 1: the show, even though Garcelle is like, uh, I think
- 40:17Speaker 1: we know it's Morgan Wade. She's been on the show.
- 40:19Speaker 1: She was in multiple scenes. You did a, a video
- 40:22Speaker 1: together where you practically kissed, but they didn't kiss. And
- 40:25Speaker 1: so what is the deal? And I think it's, I'm
- 40:27Speaker 1: right about it. I think whatever happened, it's not happening now.
- 40:33Speaker 1: And Morgan Wade wants to continue and get the respect
- 40:37Speaker 1: from musicians and not just from curious housewives in their forties.
- 40:41Speaker 1: So there you go. This was interesting. This mom, people
- 40:48Speaker 1: picked it up. She did a video online saying she
- 40:52Speaker 1: can't believe that her child, who is a twin, was
- 40:55Speaker 1: invited to a party and they didn't invite the other twin.
- 40:59Speaker 1: And gosh, I mean, what is wrong with people? No
- 41:03Speaker 1: matter what, that is so mean and rude. And as
- 41:07Speaker 1: a parent, I just remember I got invited to a
- 41:11Speaker 1: one-year-old birthday party for Drake. And it was our weekend
- 41:15Speaker 1: with Mackenzie. Mackenzie is my stepdaughter and they're three years apart.
- 41:19Speaker 1: And she was going to be with me that day.
- 41:20Speaker 1: And Peter had to do something. He was not, he
- 41:23Speaker 1: was working or something. It was, so I was, I
- 41:26Speaker 1: was like, okay, great. It was like at the beach
- 41:28Speaker 1: or something. And I'm like, okay, Mackenzie and I and
- 41:33Speaker 1: Drake will be there. And this girl wrote me back
- 41:40Speaker 1: or it got a mutual friend let me know. no,
- 41:44Speaker 1: no siblings are allowed. It's only for one-year-olds. And I
- 41:50Speaker 1: was just kind of like, okay, I see that you
- 41:53Speaker 1: didn't want a bunch of other kids running around and
- 41:55Speaker 1: being disruptive. And you wanted like all the one-year-olds to
- 41:58Speaker 1: sit at a little one-year-old table. But I'm like, I
- 42:02Speaker 1: only see my daughter, you know, two weekends a month.
- 42:07Speaker 1: And I am not going to leave her like with
- 42:10Speaker 1: my mom or something, which would have been fine. But
- 42:13Speaker 1: And then first of all, I want the time with her,
- 42:16Speaker 1: but then also I'm like, I'm not going to leave
- 42:18Speaker 1: her and then have her like somehow figure it out
- 42:20Speaker 1: that I took Drake to a birthday. Like that would
- 42:23Speaker 1: be so hurtful, especially to a stepchild. So I remember
- 42:27Speaker 1: I reached out and I was like, I totally get it.
- 42:29Speaker 1: It's your party. You have an aesthetic you want with
- 42:32Speaker 1: just people of a certain height that are little, I
- 42:35Speaker 1: don't know, but I'm not, I just can't attend, but
- 42:38Speaker 1: I get it. It's your party. And then she did
- 42:40Speaker 1: reach out and she was like, okay, you can come.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I think that's what happened because I do remember being there.
- 42:46Speaker 1: But very, so now I'm going to, oh, speaking of,
- 42:52Speaker 1: this is what happens when you have multiple children or
- 42:53Speaker 1: when you have multiple wives. This just popped up. I'm
- 42:58Speaker 1: a little behind in my sister wives. But Cody has
- 43:03Speaker 1: said in the last episode, he breaks down weeping after
- 43:07Speaker 1: telling Mary that she, that, She is his favorite ex-wife
- 43:11Speaker 1: and the comments are hilarious because he always, while they
- 43:15Speaker 1: were all married, she was his least favorite wife because
- 43:20Speaker 1: he was just not into her at all. They never
- 43:22Speaker 1: hung out. They never boned. She was catfished, thought she
- 43:25Speaker 1: was talking to a guy that was going to whisk
- 43:27Speaker 1: her away from this guy that wasn't into her. Turned
- 43:29Speaker 1: out it was a woman. That was all embarrassing. He
- 43:33Speaker 1: just never wanted to hang out with her. COVID was
- 43:36Speaker 1: the perfect excuse. She finally is like, we're done. He
- 43:39Speaker 1: even has said, don't be mad that I didn't love you.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Be mad at yourself that I didn't love you or
- 43:45Speaker 1: something like that. Like the rudest comment. She was the
- 43:48Speaker 1: first wife. So it really makes no sense that he'd
- 43:50Speaker 1: be like, you know, I was never in love with
- 43:52Speaker 1: you to start. I think that's all his excuses of like, oh,
- 43:55Speaker 1: I was called to live this life and this life
- 43:57Speaker 1: didn't work out for me. And I was trying to
- 44:00Speaker 1: be this good soldier of the scripture that says I
- 44:02Speaker 1: should have multiple wives. So I just picked out three
- 44:04Speaker 1: of you and I wasn't into any of you until
- 44:06Speaker 1: Robin came along. Anyway, now he is no longer with
- 44:10Speaker 1: Christine or with Janelle. But he said, Mary, you're my favorite. Yeah,
- 44:15Speaker 1: I think that's totally true. I think people can, he's like, yeah,
- 44:20Speaker 1: you're the easiest ex-wife. Like you're, you don't really say
- 44:23Speaker 1: a lot of mean things. You weren't difficult. You're not
- 44:26Speaker 1: in love with someone else like Christine shoving them in
- 44:29Speaker 1: the faces of the viewers. You're my favorite ex-wife. And
- 44:34Speaker 1: I just think that's hilarious. Lizzo is thin. You guys,
- 44:39Speaker 1: for my Juicy Scoopers, please find the episode where I
- 44:43Speaker 1: predicted that Lizzo would get thin. It's probably around two years, right?
- 44:48Speaker 1: When Ozempic was, you know, on the market where people
- 44:51Speaker 1: were doing it. But if you did it, They would
- 44:54Speaker 1: come out with pitchforks and come after you. How dare
- 44:57Speaker 1: you take Ozempic from a diabetic? You skinny bitch, you
- 45:02Speaker 1: don't need it. My uncle can't get it. He had
- 45:05Speaker 1: to wait in line around the corner limping. Okay, well
- 45:08Speaker 1: now we know that you can get it. It is
- 45:11Speaker 1: still expensive, but there's a lot of other places you
- 45:15Speaker 1: can get it, which is the semi-glutide, whatever, knockoff of Ozempic.
- 45:21Speaker 1: The shots you take once a week, Jim Gathigan has
- 45:24Speaker 1: a special out. He's a very funny comedian called Skinny.
- 45:26Speaker 1: He's thin. He always struggled with his weight. He had
- 45:30Speaker 1: a lot of funny jokes about being a dad of
- 45:33Speaker 1: six kids and eating crap food. He's a clean comic,
- 45:37Speaker 1: but he's brutally honest about why he's thin. And he
- 45:40Speaker 1: says it's a Zepic basically. And I don't think Lizzo
- 45:45Speaker 1: has come out with it. Of course we know it.
- 45:47Speaker 1: But again, if she doesn't want to, she doesn't want to.
- 45:50Speaker 1: but she wants to be thin. And to some people
- 45:53Speaker 1: that really followed her body positivity thing and were like
- 45:57Speaker 1: mad that she was a bigger girl and happy and talented.
- 46:00Speaker 1: And then they were mad that she was mean to
- 46:03Speaker 1: her dancers who filed a lawsuit where she took them
- 46:06Speaker 1: to like, you know, sex shows in Amsterdam after performing.
- 46:11Speaker 1: And she wanted them to be a certain weight. She
- 46:14Speaker 1: didn't want them losing weight or she wanted them to
- 46:16Speaker 1: be thinner or fatter as your dancer, whatever it is. She,
- 46:21Speaker 1: is thin and showing off those photos and loving it
- 46:24Speaker 1: and how she got there is her issue you know
- 46:28Speaker 1: and and her deal and you can like her music
- 46:30Speaker 1: because she was once heavy and now she's thin or
- 46:34Speaker 1: you can like her music because you like that she
- 46:37Speaker 1: was mean to her dancers or you don't believe that
- 46:39Speaker 1: she was mean to her dancers who cares let's just
- 46:41Speaker 1: see if she brings out some new music but it
- 46:43Speaker 1: would be really interesting if she also called her new
- 46:46Speaker 1: song skinny and stole that from jim gaffigan well Thanksgiving
- 46:51Speaker 1: is around the corner, obviously. And Meghan Markle has released
- 46:55Speaker 1: a statement. This is kind of a, basically, people are
- 47:01Speaker 1: talking a lot about Meghan Markle and Harry not doing
- 47:04Speaker 1: a lot together. But they also bought this house in Portugal.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I don't know. I just think the interest overall is like,
- 47:10Speaker 1: who really cares? Are they doing things separately? Yeah, they are.
- 47:13Speaker 1: They've been married now like six years. So he didn't
- 47:17Speaker 1: go to the ladies' luncheon that benefited women from Afghanistan. Okay,
- 47:24Speaker 1: let me tell you something. My husband doesn't come to
- 47:25Speaker 1: everything with me either. He didn't go to the Vanderpump
- 47:28Speaker 1: Dog Ball with me, but he did go to the
- 47:29Speaker 1: American TV Reality Awards with me. He doesn't come to everything.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Some things I room my sister to. Sometimes he just
- 47:37Speaker 1: doesn't attend. Doesn't matter. Now, he's not the prince, but still. So...
- 47:43Speaker 1: But people also seem to think that they're going to
- 47:45Speaker 1: separate creatively. Well, they should. Neither of them have any
- 47:49Speaker 1: business doing podcasts or creating TV shows because none of
- 47:53Speaker 1: them have worked except for their documentary where they ripped
- 47:56Speaker 1: on the Royals. So there you go. This I thought
- 47:59Speaker 1: was really funny. This is a viral TikTok going. And
- 48:03Speaker 1: this girl wrote, my brother started making PowerPoint presentations with
- 48:07Speaker 1: every movie we watched because he got tired of my
- 48:09Speaker 1: mom asking so many questions. Hilarious. So they're watching a
- 48:13Speaker 1: movie and then above it, he has what he anticipates
- 48:18Speaker 1: his mom to be, would ask. And it was an
- 48:20Speaker 1: older movie with Brad Pitt. So he wrote, yes, that
- 48:24Speaker 1: is Brad Pitt. He's currently 60 years old. He was
- 48:28Speaker 1: 41 when this movie was made. Angelina Jolie divorced him
- 48:32Speaker 1: in 2016 and he has six kids. He also divorced
- 48:36Speaker 1: Jennifer Aniston in 2010 or whatever it was. And I
- 48:42Speaker 1: just think that is so hilarious. And I think when
- 48:45Speaker 1: you're spending time with your family, whether you're, you know,
- 48:48Speaker 1: whether you're this mom or this kid, this was just
- 48:52Speaker 1: hilarious and very relatable. Okay. So now I'm going to
- 48:55Speaker 1: get into some stuff that was on my Facebook group
- 48:58Speaker 1: called Juicy Scoop Obsessed. A lot of people have asked,
- 49:01Speaker 1: will you do an advice column or just occasionally give advice?
- 49:05Speaker 1: So I thought this is a great time. And coincidentally,
- 49:08Speaker 1: a lot of the questions are, It was only up
- 49:11Speaker 1: for a few hours, so I'm sure there'll be more.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Maybe I'll do more in the weeks to come. We're
- 49:16Speaker 1: about holidays and what to do with family. I'm going
- 49:20Speaker 1: to read some of them. But one was, my sister-in-law
- 49:25Speaker 1: always insists on hosting, but her food sucks and everybody
- 49:28Speaker 1: hates it. What do I do? Well, you know, and
- 49:32Speaker 1: a lot of things about what do I do going
- 49:34Speaker 1: to my boyfriend or my husband's house? It's so many
- 49:38Speaker 1: more people. It's such a bigger deal. it's a lot
- 49:41Speaker 1: for me to take so many people around. Here's the thing.
- 49:45Speaker 1: If you're going to be with someone, then you should
- 49:47Speaker 1: spend at least one holiday with their family. So if
- 49:50Speaker 1: it's Thanksgiving and Christmas, you do one at yours and
- 49:53Speaker 1: one at his. I think that's fair. And you know what?
- 49:58Speaker 1: Suck it up. If you're a guest, eat before whatever,
- 50:03Speaker 1: or do what I do. When it first started, I
- 50:07Speaker 1: felt that there were not enough sides at Peter's family's Thanksgiving.
- 50:12Speaker 1: I was like, the turkey was good, but there literally was,
- 50:16Speaker 1: it was like turkey and sauerkraut. And I was like,
- 50:19Speaker 1: that's it? Like, where's the sides? So then the first
- 50:23Speaker 1: few years I never hosted, but I started to bring
- 50:25Speaker 1: more and more and more sides to when I wasn't hosting.
- 50:28Speaker 1: And then when, and now that I'm hosting all these
- 50:31Speaker 1: people for the first year ever, you guys, I actually
- 50:36Speaker 1: am getting a caterer. And I always said one day
- 50:38Speaker 1: I'd be in a position to just get a cater
- 50:41Speaker 1: and have it be lovely. And I'm just telling people,
- 50:44Speaker 1: just bring a dessert and a bottle of wine. That's it.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You don't have to bring an appetizer. You don't have
- 50:49Speaker 1: to do anything. And we're, you know, but that, but I,
- 50:53Speaker 1: that's because for 20 years I have hosted, well, I've
- 50:57Speaker 1: probably hosted 10 or 10 or 11 times. I've probably
- 51:00Speaker 1: hosted cause we do it every other year. And, um, And,
- 51:05Speaker 1: you know, if you don't want to come, that's fine.
- 51:06Speaker 1: But if I agree to do it, I'm going to
- 51:08Speaker 1: do it my best. I'm going to do it what
- 51:09Speaker 1: makes it fun for all of us and be great.
- 51:12Speaker 1: But I think for your sister-in-law, you should just say,
- 51:16Speaker 1: you know, you do so much. Why don't you just
- 51:18Speaker 1: do like the turkey and let me do something else?
- 51:21Speaker 1: Or you can offer, you can say, could I please
- 51:24Speaker 1: host one year? Okay. So here's this other one. This
- 51:28Speaker 1: is coming from Kim. Okay. Okay. I'm Gen X, married,
- 51:32Speaker 1: four kids. My in-laws never accepted me. My father-in-law passed
- 51:35Speaker 1: away a year and a half ago and my mother-in-law
- 51:37Speaker 1: is hanging on to the bit. I don't know what
- 51:40Speaker 1: that means. And I'm the villain in every scenario. Literally
- 51:43Speaker 1: cannot win with her. Push presents were never a thing
- 51:47Speaker 1: in our generation. No, it wasn't. I never got anything
- 51:51Speaker 1: and I pushed out two babies. The present was the baby, okay?
- 51:56Speaker 1: And so now I have to deal with her disrespect,
- 52:00Speaker 1: in my home on a holiday. And then she said,
- 52:02Speaker 1: so then she goes, I'm picking cute gifts, unwilling to
- 52:05Speaker 1: tell your mom to stop. I think she just feels
- 52:07Speaker 1: she's got a real issue with her mother-in-law. And I
- 52:10Speaker 1: just have to say, I don't know what it's like
- 52:12Speaker 1: to have an unpleasant mother-in-law because I really do have
- 52:14Speaker 1: a great one. You know, there was only one time
- 52:19Speaker 1: that there was an issue and it was when I
- 52:21Speaker 1: had to miss Thanksgiving to go to Australia when I
- 52:25Speaker 1: worked on Chelsea Lately. We were not going to be
- 52:28Speaker 1: there for Thanksgiving. And technically it was our year to
- 52:32Speaker 1: have it. And I said, I don't want you having
- 52:35Speaker 1: Thanksgiving at my house without me. And I'm like, I
- 52:40Speaker 1: just don't want my kids to remember a Thanksgiving. Like,
- 52:42Speaker 1: where's mommy? Oh, she's working. You know, I just didn't
- 52:46Speaker 1: want that. I go, can we just all do it
- 52:47Speaker 1: next year? Just either everyone have their own small one
- 52:50Speaker 1: or go to the other cousin's house. And that was
- 52:52Speaker 1: probably the only time I like really felt like I
- 52:54Speaker 1: had to like assert what I wanted for my family. Otherwise,
- 52:57Speaker 1: very accommodating. And that was just something because I felt
- 53:01Speaker 1: so bad about missing it. I was so sad. And
- 53:04Speaker 1: you guys know I'm sensitive about being a working mom
- 53:08Speaker 1: and I always was. So that was probably about it.
- 53:10Speaker 1: But for you who has trouble with your mother-in-law, I
- 53:14Speaker 1: think you just have to accept that, you know, on
- 53:17Speaker 1: occasion you just, just kiss some ass and just be pleasant.
- 53:20Speaker 1: It's not worth it. And they're not going to be
- 53:23Speaker 1: there forever. And they probably only have a few Thanksgivings
- 53:27Speaker 1: left and they want to be with their child. And,
- 53:30Speaker 1: you know, so just do it your way and just
- 53:34Speaker 1: be firm and be like, no, this is what we're serving.
- 53:36Speaker 1: This is what we're having. We are doing a gift exchange.
- 53:39Speaker 1: We are doing it and you can participate or not.
- 53:41Speaker 1: And we'd love to see you and like, just be real.
- 53:44Speaker 1: The minute you start being like firm like that, then
- 53:46Speaker 1: maybe there'll be a bigger reaction. That's positive. Okay. Um,
- 53:52Speaker 1: I have a friend who's extremely needy when she needs
- 53:55Speaker 1: help or is having a crisis in life. I'm normally
- 53:58Speaker 1: the first one she will call text in situations when
- 54:00Speaker 1: she needs help or guidance. For example, her child was sick.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I got medication, saw many, saw her many times, picked
- 54:07Speaker 1: it up for her, dropped them off. The same friend, though,
- 54:10Speaker 1: was not there when I needed her. I was going
- 54:11Speaker 1: through a particularly hard time, and she pretty much is non-existent.
- 54:15Speaker 1: When my son was pretty sick and we needed surgery,
- 54:18Speaker 1: she acted like I was making a big deal out
- 54:20Speaker 1: of it. That would be really annoying. Also, she's always
- 54:25Speaker 1: going out with other groups of friends and will find
- 54:27Speaker 1: a babysitter for those nights, but when she goes out
- 54:30Speaker 1: with me, she just brings the daughter. Okay, girl, this
- 54:35Speaker 1: is Chelsea. Listen. Listen. This friend doesn't really care that
- 54:41Speaker 1: much about you. She has you in a category where she,
- 54:46Speaker 1: speaking of a classic Real Housewives of New York, when
- 54:51Speaker 1: Kelly Bessamone says, I'm up here, Bethany, and you're down here.
- 54:55Speaker 1: She sees herself as more important, entitled, and you're lucky
- 55:02Speaker 1: for her presence and Therefore, when she goes with her
- 55:05Speaker 1: other friends, she sees them in a different light where
- 55:08Speaker 1: she's like, oh, I don't want to bring the kid.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I really want to party, but I'll see my friend
- 55:14Speaker 1: who I like, but I'm going to bring my kid.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I'm not going to pay for a sitter and I'm
- 55:18Speaker 1: not going to miss out on time with my kid
- 55:20Speaker 1: because it's just this girl, Chelsea. It's just Chelsea, whatever.
- 55:25Speaker 1: But it's really important that you recognize this. And this
- 55:28Speaker 1: is what you need to do. You need to pull
- 55:33Speaker 1: back and really kind of notice now, when's the next
- 55:36Speaker 1: time she reaches out to you? What is it for?
- 55:39Speaker 1: Is she inviting you to something? Is she asking you
- 55:42Speaker 1: how you are? Or is she just needing your help
- 55:45Speaker 1: with something? Can you, you know, or is she just
- 55:47Speaker 1: bitching and complaining? Kind of keep a little like log
- 55:51Speaker 1: of it and to kind of figure out if this
- 55:53Speaker 1: friendship is really worth your effort anymore. Or if you
- 55:57Speaker 1: do pull back, maybe she'll, You know, maybe that's changed
- 56:01Speaker 1: the dynamic and maybe she will really realize, no, she
- 56:04Speaker 1: really does care about me. That's just her. And she
- 56:08Speaker 1: is there and she is a good time. And maybe
- 56:10Speaker 1: it's imbalanced, but I'm down for it. But you really
- 56:13Speaker 1: need to kind of test it out because one thing
- 56:15Speaker 1: this year has taught me is that I definitely had
- 56:17Speaker 1: a different perspective of friendships and they weren't. To them,
- 56:21Speaker 1: it was a transactional thing. They didn't really care about me.
- 56:24Speaker 1: And sometimes it takes things to crack it open and
- 56:27Speaker 1: for you to see it clearly as hurtful as that
- 56:29Speaker 1: might be. So good luck with that. Okay. Um, I'm
- 56:34Speaker 1: the same age as you and I want to start traveling.
- 56:38Speaker 1: My husband is not keen. I'm thinking of buying a
- 56:40Speaker 1: camper van bus and heading off on my own for
- 56:42Speaker 1: six months. What would you do? Well, I never want
- 56:45Speaker 1: to be in a camper van bus because I'm just
- 56:49Speaker 1: don't know how to do anything. And that would be terrifying.
- 56:51Speaker 1: And that's not something I really think is a great
- 56:53Speaker 1: idea to do by myself. I do understand a lot
- 56:56Speaker 1: of women, once their kids are grown and they're of
- 56:58Speaker 1: a certain age, want to travel and the crotchety old
- 57:01Speaker 1: man doesn't really want to. Do not not travel because
- 57:05Speaker 1: the crotchety old man. There are so many groups, and
- 57:09Speaker 1: I've talked to travel agents too, that say, I have
- 57:14Speaker 1: so many groups of happily married women, but the husband
- 57:18Speaker 1: just doesn't care to do the same type of stuff.
- 57:21Speaker 1: They don't want to go to Europe. They're happy on
- 57:24Speaker 1: the golf course, sitting in their lounger, whatever. They've worked
- 57:27Speaker 1: their whole life. It's not what they want to do.
- 57:30Speaker 1: So I think that's what you need to do is
- 57:32Speaker 1: have the conversation of like, well, these are the things
- 57:34Speaker 1: I want to do. What would you like to join
- 57:37Speaker 1: me on? Maybe it's one thing. Maybe it's a shorter
- 57:40Speaker 1: like vacation. And then the bigger thing, you go find
- 57:43Speaker 1: some other women. I wouldn't go alone. Find some other women,
- 57:47Speaker 1: find some other plans and just say, I'm doing it.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I'm not going to not do it because you don't
- 57:53Speaker 1: want to join me. That's just lame. There are so
- 57:56Speaker 1: many ways, especially in this digital age to find like-minded
- 58:00Speaker 1: people that want to do something you want to do.
- 58:02Speaker 1: So a hundred percent go do that. But also don't
- 58:04Speaker 1: be resentful of your husband. You know, if he brings
- 58:07Speaker 1: up something that you don't want to do either, then
- 58:10Speaker 1: you need to speak up and go, that's not really
- 58:12Speaker 1: what I, it's not really how I want to spend
- 58:14Speaker 1: my time or my money. It's, I'm not into it. Or, okay,
- 58:18Speaker 1: I'll do one of your trips and you do one
- 58:20Speaker 1: of mine, but we have to be, be delights to
- 58:22Speaker 1: each other. But if you know your spouse well, sometimes
- 58:24Speaker 1: you're like, if he doesn't get his way, he's not
- 58:27Speaker 1: going to be delight. He's going to be full blown
- 58:29Speaker 1: crotchety old man. Okay. And I don't want to put
- 58:31Speaker 1: up with that. So you really have to like evaluate
- 58:34Speaker 1: it and you know, It's no reason you don't need
- 58:38Speaker 1: to break up. You don't need to get divorced. You
- 58:40Speaker 1: made it this long. Doing things separately is okay. Okay.
- 58:47Speaker 1: This was kind of a long one, so I'm going
- 58:49Speaker 1: to summarize it. But this girl said, Erica, she said,
- 58:54Speaker 1: I had a seizure at work and this other girl
- 58:56Speaker 1: didn't even care and kind of mocked it. And then
- 59:00Speaker 1: she said, this girl, she goes, this coworker pretends to
- 59:03Speaker 1: be a sugar baby, but has nothing to show for it.
- 59:06Speaker 1: She's 30 and lives with her parents. And in my mind,
- 59:09Speaker 1: she's a Splenda baby, fake sugar. Shortly after my seizure,
- 59:14Speaker 1: she had a minor fender bender. And I remarked that
- 59:16Speaker 1: while most people slow down to look at accidents, most
- 59:19Speaker 1: people wouldn't want to see a coworker seize on the floor. Well,
- 59:23Speaker 1: that was kind of snarky too. Here's the thing. There's
- 59:25Speaker 1: a lot of coworker questions in this. A lot of
- 59:29Speaker 1: women that work together hate each other. They do. They do.
- 59:33Speaker 1: And I think it's interesting, would be an interesting dynamic
- 59:36Speaker 1: to study. Like some of these questions I got, it
- 59:40Speaker 1: seems like women are annoyed by coworkers that either don't
- 59:43Speaker 1: work as hard as they do, other women that don't
- 59:45Speaker 1: work as hard as they do, and ones that seem
- 59:47Speaker 1: to get away with something. This girl seems to get
- 59:49Speaker 1: away with stuff, get away with sympathy. She clearly doesn't
- 59:53Speaker 1: like her. And the boss sort of favors her or
- 59:57Speaker 1: coddles her. My advice is you do not go to
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: the boss and complain that this girl is getting away
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: with more than you. Think about your kids. Is there
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: anything more annoying than when a child, when one of
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: your kids is like, but Tommy didn't do it and
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: I did it. It's like, that's not what you want.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: What you need to do is if you're in that
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: situation and you like the job, you just need to go,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I like the job. I don't like this girl. Eventually
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: they'll figure it out. or if you feel like you're
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: doing more than you should, don't go above and beyond.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Do what the job requires and do it well. Take
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: advantage of your paid time off. You know, a lot
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: of people that are really dedicated, a lot of women
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: are like this. They're like, oh my God, I never
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: took my vacation time because there was a project coming
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: and I knew that they needed me. No, take all
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: the things that you're entitled to. Just follow the rules.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Make sure you, you know, put the request in far
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: in advance. If you haven't used all your sick days,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: guess what? You're sick. Find a day and be sick.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Lie about it. Get your sick days in and just
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: don't post. Don't go to Starbucks. Don't be like, I
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: got my Starbucks. I remember that happened at Chelsea lately.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: A couple of people, this person called in sick and
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: literally tweeted about the hot barista that served him a latte.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: And we're like, really? You're supposed to be sick. Well,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I was just getting hot tea for my cold. Shut up.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: So if you're going to call in sick, like just
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: stay home, stay off your phone, watch some movies and
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: pretend to be sick. Take advantage of all those things
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: because these other coworkers are doing it. And that's why
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you're being resentful because you are a better employee than they,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and you feel like you are not getting the respect
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: you deserve. But guess what? You can't demand the respect.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: You just have to do your best and try that
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: it not bother you. My kid is growing up with
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: a friend, with a friend's kid. But this kid is
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: so dang selfish. He sucks the air out of the room.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Do I let them still be friends? Then another person
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: jumped on it, Jen. She said, my very good friend
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: has a daughter the same age as mine. We live
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: in the same town. They are six. Her daughter is
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: not a good influence on mine. They get into trouble,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: act crazy, wild, et cetera. I don't know how to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: keep saying no to playdates and plans and request that
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: they not be in the same bunk. without offending her.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I guess she means bunk, like going to camp. Well,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I was reading this with Drake and he's like, how
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: much trouble are two six-year-olds getting into? I think, you
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: know what? Your friend, your daughter has a friend. You
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: shouldn't stop that friendship. The only thing I would maybe
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: suggest is getting them involved in an activity that that
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: girl is not involved in and they'll eventually kind of
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: grow apart. And, but then if they see each other
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: on occasion or you want to get together with your friend,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: it's fine. But if you really feel like a child
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: is just not your kid's vibe or you feel like
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: they act sassy or they're doing the wrong thing, get
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: them involved in something where they'll meet other kids. Like
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: get into gymnastics or karate or whatever that that kid
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: is not involved in. You'll make other friends and they'll
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: like kind of forget about it. Um, I was the
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: kid that people thought was the bad influence. And that
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: is because I was the youngest of five and I
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: was just being raised by wolves. I don't know. I
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: was able to watch whatever TV I wanted. And I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: was at this girl's house. First time to be invited
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: over for a sleepover. That's when people did sleepovers. Now
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: everyone's like, never do a sleepover. But anyway, so I
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: was at a sleepover, which I understand why people don't
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: do it, but I was. And, um, this girl had
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: like very straight kind of cool, like kind of very
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: straight hair. And we were playing with barrettes and she
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: put her hair up in a barrette and I'm like,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that looks good. And she goes, oh, my mom doesn't
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: like me wearing barrettes. She says it looks cheap. And
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: then the mom came in and I go, what do
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you mean? It looks cheap. She goes, oh, what's her thick,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: straight hair. I just feel like it doesn't blend in nicely. Like,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you know, when she puts her hair in a barrette
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and I go, oh, I thought you meant cheap, like
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: a hooker. I was eight. I said this. And I
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: knew then that that was not the right thing to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: say because the mom's eyes like fell out of her head.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: And she's like, wow, your mother sure shares a lot
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: of things with you that we don't find appropriate. Something
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: like that. And then I doubled down and I was like,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: have you not seen Dawn the Teenage Hooker or whatever
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: it was? It starred Eve Plum. And it was after
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: the Brady Bunch had ended. She played Jan in Brady Bunch.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: And she was a teenage hooker. And she wore like
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: a tan outfit, like a leather miniskirt, like a Pocahontas
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: kind of an outfit. And was walking up and down
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: the streets of Hollywood Boulevard. I just loved the outfit.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: And I just thought it was just a fascinating show.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: And I knew what a hooker was. And I knew
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: that they sometimes would charge certain things for just a
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: BJ and other things for the whole nine yards. I
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: was eight. I knew all of this. But then Drake
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: also said, yeah, but there's a lot of kids that
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: are like watching people TikTok and they're like, you know,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: nine years old and they have access to TikTok and
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: they're watching people, you know, twerking and things like that.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: But whatever, you know, I was never asked back. I
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: was never asked back to that girl's house. That mother
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: probably told other people stay away from that girl. Like,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you know, because I never had a curfew and I
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: could watch whatever TV I wanted. And it made me
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: a little weird. But in the end, look at me now,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: doing pretty good. But that was odd. And so I
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: said to Drake, did you, and I guess Drake was
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: seen as, Drake, you said you were seen as, some
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: people thought you were sort of a bad influence. But
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: it wasn't because of what I did, right? It was
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: just that you guys were just getting in trouble. I
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: don't know. I hope it wasn't what I did. But
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: we didn't get invited to a lot of things, so
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: maybe it was. Whatever, we're fine. Okay, um... I found
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: out recently that all the women in my husband's family
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: went to Nashville to celebrate my niece's 21st birthday, and
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I was the only one not invited. What would Heather do? Well,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: this is a bummer, and this is hurtful, but fuck them.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: You were not overlooked. Whoever put it together chose not
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: to invite you. And you know what? Eagles don't fly
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: with pigeons, as Dorinda would say. Eagles don't fly with pigeons.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: They don't. And you got to think of yourself like that. Well,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: I wouldn't. You know what? It saved me money. Who
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: knows what could have happened there. Like I always said,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: if someone doesn't find me a delight, I don't need
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: to be around you. As someone that has had a
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: weird couple of years, I... there's enough people in this
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: world that do want to be around you. And even
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: though it's your family, so what? It is hard. It
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: is hard for it not to bother you. I totally
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: get it. I am not someone that just can put
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: on the blinders and have shit not bother me. But
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I wouldn't make this a big deal with your husband.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't cause drama with the family. I would just
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: be totally fine with it. And probably you not caring,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: maybe the next time there is something, they will invite
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: you because you're just like, oh, all right, whatever. But
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: it's a bummer. But, you know, there's a reason life's
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: rejection is God's protection. Maybe something will happen in that
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Nashville trip that'll show its ugly head and you'll say,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: maybe it was best I wasn't invited or something like that. But,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: you know, it's that whole let them theory. Let them.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Let them do their thing without you. You're fine. The
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: company where I work, It's going to close soon. My
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: husband wants me to keep working to look for a job.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Keep working to look for a job. From home in
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the same company, but I will receive a severance package
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: and frankly, I want to stop working for a while
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: and not look for another job. He said it's okay,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: but he's not happy about it. I've been working in
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: the company for almost 12 years. Is that okay to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: stop working and relax for two to three months? I've
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: never done that before and I'm 50. Yes, it's okay. Yeah,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: it's okay, girl. You know what? hopefully your husband's on
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: a juicy scooper. Why don't you just pretend like you're
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: looking for a job? Just be like, okay, that sounds
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: like a great idea. I would like, maybe let me
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: look into it. And then when he asks, just say,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I don't know that they haven't gotten back to me
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: or well, the person that's in charge is going to
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: be back in two weeks and just buy yourself some time.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: And in that time, enjoy yourself. I mean, hopefully you, you,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: you know, we'll be okay financially. And then maybe, in
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: that time, do some soul searching and maybe see something
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: else that you'd rather do. And then you can present
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: that to him and say, you know what? I don't
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: want to do this anymore. I actually want to do this.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: And that's what I'm going to do. Too bad. You know,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: that's what's happening. I don't want to do this job anymore.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: It doesn't fulfill me. It doesn't make me happy. I've
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: really enjoyed my time off and I'm going to pursue
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: this instead. But maybe in the meantime, um, you just say, okay, sure.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I'll try to do that. Uh, sometimes honesty is not
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: always the best policy. Okay. Um, Okay. I have a
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: new coworker that was hired at the same salary as me.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: When my boss asked, should we hire her? I said, no,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: I've been training her for two months. She's so bad
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: at her job. In addition, she's always got excuses and we, um,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: but we're both remote. Oh, how annoying. And we can
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: hear her on other meetings. We are certain she has
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: another full-time job. Heather, would you call her out on
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: it or yourself or wait for the boss to handle
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: it or quit the job? This is triggering my PTSD. Okay.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I don't think that you should quit, but I think
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: that you could drop subtle hints to the boss without
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: being the tattletale. I think you could be saying, oh, hey,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: we were doing the meeting the other day on the Zoom,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: and it was just a little frustrating because Katie or
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: whatever was talking to somebody else about shipments. I don't
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: know what was going on there. I don't know if
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: she does some other thing on the side or what,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: but Anyway, what we need to do is this, and
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: you just kind of drop it like that. Like drop
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: the hints like you didn't even mean to for him
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: to then investigate, does she have another job? That's what
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I would do. But it's not your job to tell
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: and spell it out and look like bitter Betty. And
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you got to be careful about that shit. Also, Lindsay
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Lohan got a major facelift, and I think she did
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: the burn victim skin thing that Tamara did because she
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: has no freckles. She was on Watch Realms Live. She
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: looks amazing. Face looks amazing. And, you know, it wasn't
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: staying out of the sun because I remember one of
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: the first jokes I wrote for Chelsea lately was Lindsay
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Lohan is aging in dog years because she looked and
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: acted and sounded like she was 40 when she was
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: like 24. So now she is about 40 and she
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: looks amazing. She does not have one freckle on her face,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: which tells me like she got all that dead skin
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: off and then probably did like a lower facelift too,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: but she looks great. And that's it. All right, you guys.
