Transcript
- 0:06Hello, what's your least favorite scary movie?
- 0:10Hi, you got any books on devil worship?
- 0:15What's your least favorite scary movie?
- 0:17The podcast where we talk about the good, the bad, the ugly and
- 0:20the absurd and all of our. Favorites and least favorite
- 0:22scary movies because we believe every horror movie rightfully
- 0:24has its fan base. Even if we don't always get.
- 0:27It my name is Travis. My name is Jesse and welcome
- 0:30back to another monthly bonus episode.
- 0:33Live uncut and mostly undrawn. This is our To Be or Not to Be
- 0:39series where we look at the free streaming services and see what
- 0:43low budget Nuggets they've got available for us.
- 0:46And boy, do we have one for you all today.
- 0:48We have a little movie called Wolf Cop serving up here.
- 0:54You made me jump with that intro.
- 0:57I didn't expect that, oy. It wasn't Oy, it was hey, OK.
- 1:01Hey, whatever. And you know, I I put you into
- 1:06the right mood with it because they were in the library so.
- 1:09Yeah, that's true. Yeah.
- 1:10And And that was a beautiful moment last night.
- 1:12Such news. Yeah, thing.
- 1:13This movie's got plenty of quotable lines, so I didn't
- 1:16expect that one, but I'm happy with it.
- 1:18Yeah. All right, So yeah, we are doing
- 1:20Wolf Cup. No polls, no announcements since
- 1:24this is just the bonus episode. So I say we just get right on
- 1:28into this one. Boogie woogie let's boogie
- 1:31woogie right on over. OK, so Wolf Cop released June
- 1:366th 2014, obviously. A happy just over 10th birthday
- 1:41wolf cop. Oh shit, yeah, it's not been
- 1:44that. It's been 10 years.
- 1:46It's birthday month. Yeah damn, that's dude that
- 1:49fucking kills me. I feel like wolf crop is
- 1:52definitely like a birthday month type of girly, you know what I
- 1:55mean? Yeah, it's insane that that's
- 1:59been 10 years, but fuck, man. Yeah, 2014 is 10 years ago.
- 2:02So yeah, that's when it released.
- 2:04We watched it on Tubi. Obviously, this is to be or not
- 2:07to be, so we're highlighting those movies over there.
- 2:10Written by Lowell Dean. Directed by Lowell Dean, music
- 2:14by Toby Bond and Shooting Guns, which I believe is the band that
- 2:19plays whenever they like. Hit up the jukebox and shit.
- 2:22No, I just like to imagine that like the gunfire is.
- 2:26Like. All recorded in the.
- 2:28Studio It's Diagenic Music Special effects Emerson Zippel,
- 2:33Wyatt Thorseth and Casey Marcus. Starring Leo Farfan or Leo
- 2:41Fafard Fafford. I don't know this is you.
- 2:46Don't look at me for help. I have an uncut everybody Leo
- 2:49Fafard who plays Lugaru slash wolf cop.
- 2:54Do you want to? Do you just want to start over?
- 2:56The whole thing. No, no, no.
- 2:57OK, Yeah. Take.
- 3:00A Take a breath, do a little, OK.
- 3:04OK. Starring Leo Fafard did it
- 3:09again. Leo Fafford as Lou Guru slash
- 3:16the wolf cop and I was reading Lou Guru is actually French for
- 3:22werewolf. Oh OK, I just thought it was
- 3:25like fun to say. It is.
- 3:27It's a little bit. Maybe that's why they made it
- 3:29the word for werewolf over there.
- 3:31Amy Mezio as Tina Walsh, Sarah Lynn as Jessica Barrett,
- 3:36Jonathan Cherry as Willie Higgins.
- 3:38Or our boy from Final Destination Two.
- 3:41This donor cokehead dude. Jesse Moss, another Final
- 3:45Destination along from three as gang leader.
- 3:48He doesn't even get a name. Well.
- 3:51Which I'm happy. We'll get to why he doesn't get
- 3:53a name, yeah. Oh, that's fair.
- 3:55Yeah, that's. Kind of a plot point.
- 3:57Well, but also the bartender gets a name, so I guess that
- 4:01logic doesn't really go throughout.
- 4:03And this is confusing too because it's the same character
- 4:05but Aiden Devine is chief. But I guess it makes sense
- 4:08because he plays the chief, but he also plays the gang leader in
- 4:11a way like, I don't know, like. No, I see what you're saying,
- 4:16but no. I know what you Yeah, yeah, it
- 4:19it's. It is heart, yes, but.
- 4:21Yeah, I don't. OK, it gets a little bit
- 4:23confusing here because we get some shape shifting action going
- 4:26on so. Yeah, you thought you were
- 4:28getting a werewolf movie, but really it's about change lens.
- 4:32That, yeah, and werewolves. Werewolf.
- 4:36Well, I guess there are werewolves of the past.
- 4:38Of the past of the ore. Yeah, of the of the yore.
- 4:42The yore. Did I do it right?
- 4:44No, it sounded right. It's like my sire thing all over
- 4:47again. OK, time for our favorite game,
- 4:52Jesse. Budget or bug?
- 4:55Ted and I do have one. Considering the credits had a
- 5:00list of Indiegogo supporters, I'm going to say Bug Ted.
- 5:04Yes, but I saw that too and I looked it up false.
- 5:12This what I maybe. So the thing with this is the
- 5:16budget's $1 million. OK, so Bug Ted is correct.
- 5:21I don't think the movie itself was Indiegogo funded.
- 5:25Is it Wolf Cop 2? That's Indiegogo.
- 5:27Funded. They did do the.
- 5:28Red carpet thing for it because it said Indiegogo red carpet
- 5:31sponsors. They did do that and maybe they,
- 5:34I don't know, I didn't find anything.
- 5:36I only found an Indiegogo for the sequel, but they maybe did
- 5:41that for the mock trailer, which they submitted a mock trailer to
- 5:45this festival up in Canada that the winner is awarded $1,000,000
- 5:51to make a feature and they distribute it because it was
- 5:54held by I think Cineflex or something like that, which is
- 5:57the Canadian movie theater chain.
- 5:59So they're like, we promise we will release this on film.
- 6:02And once again, Canada, like much of the rules of American
- 6:06baseball, just doesn't seem real sometimes.
- 6:08They are very like they they work for.
- 6:12You for a national movie chain. It sounds like skin flicks.
- 6:15Yes. It does.
- 6:17I I might be saying it wrong so I don't know, but actually I got
- 6:20it right here. Let's just find out.
- 6:22But they speak French and Canada too.
- 6:25Cineplex. Cineplex that's oh, that's very
- 6:28different Travis. So different Cineplex like
- 6:33Multiplex. I get that.
- 6:34Yeah. Well, OK, it was.
- 6:39So yeah, that's where they got their $1,000,000 budget from.
- 6:42OK, so yeah, all right, I have 3 movies.
- 6:46OK, I do have a theme. OK, what's your theme?
- 6:49They are monsters. OK.
- 6:52Because we got a monster movie here.
- 6:54OK. So we're doing a little bit of a
- 6:56mash, if you will. A monster mash?
- 6:58Yes, of sorts. Yeah.
- 6:59Is it a graveyard smash? Yeah, she's actually doing the
- 7:08howling. So OK, first movie Tusk.
- 7:13Yay, love Tusk if you love Tusk too and you haven't heard our
- 7:17episode of Tusk with our favorite Canadian Steve.
- 7:20From the very fitting Yeah, we're also getting candidates.
- 7:23Over here that that was, that's earlier on in the feed.
- 7:27Yeah, but that was a good one I liked.
- 7:28Them It is one of our top ten episodes.
- 7:30Yeah, it really is. Yeah.
- 7:31And like, I don't mean that like as a personal ranking, like as
- 7:34our top 10, like. Objectively, yeah, it is up
- 7:36there in our rankings. All right, so that released
- 7:39September 19th, 2014. Three $1,000,000 budget
- 7:43worldwide gross 1.8 million. OK.
- 7:46By the way, Wolf Cop did not list it's gross.
- 7:50So even though it did make a run it, I don't know how much I
- 7:53made. Tusk has a 5.3 on IMDb and I'm
- 7:58sorry I forgot to do Wolf Cops IMDb.
- 8:01Also Wolf Cops is 5.6. OK so it's pretty solid.
- 8:05Solidly rated next movie. Army of Frankenstein's
- 8:12apparently. I read the synopsis, they go
- 8:14back to I think the Civil War era and have to fight various
- 8:18versions of Frankenstein. So the Frankenstein monster, I
- 8:24want a Frankenstein movie someday and it's literally about
- 8:27like the mad scientist fucking up shit 'cause that's what the
- 8:29book is about is the mad. Scientist I I get it.
- 8:33Like, Can you imagine the outrage that people like?
- 8:35Where's the fucking monster, man?
- 8:38I love it and I get that it's one of the like oldest jokes
- 8:42about how pretentious can you fucking be?
- 8:44Like, oh, it's not actually very good, so it's very good.
- 8:47So it's monster. Like, I get that, but also,
- 8:50like, the book's a fucking classic of Mary Shelton is like
- 8:55she's OG, yeah. This is true.
- 8:59It's an easy, it's a forgivable mistake.
- 9:01It's one that I don't push on. I don't forget it.
- 9:04OK, two different persons here. All right, so that released
- 9:07August 2nd, 2014. Don't have the budget, don't
- 9:11have the gross 3 out of 10 IMDb. Oh, OK.
- 9:15Kind of want to watch? It I hope that's a bunch of
- 9:17angry nerds. They're like, I was tuning in
- 9:19for an army of mad doctors. Mad doctors.
- 9:23Yeah, they got beat and switched.
- 9:25If it's a whole army, it's got to be the actual scientist.
- 9:28Yeah, like finally a. Movie for me then.
- 9:32OK and the next monster movie is all different type of monster.
- 9:39It is the Purge Anarchy, because the Purge turns us all into
- 9:43monsters. Do you like this?
- 9:46Like this reach I made there. Four days from now, yeah, turn
- 9:56into us watching. The actual first singular page,
- 9:59Yeah. Oh man, dude, I think I'm gonna
- 10:01open that episode with the actual horn blaring.
- 10:04So this might be a warning for you guys in advance if you're
- 10:07driving in your car and you're over.
- 10:08It's like a klaxon or something. Like that?
- 10:11I don't know, I just noticed like.
- 10:12Term for the actual siren. Burn it's really it's really
- 10:17unsettling so The Purge Anarchy released July 18th 2014 $9
- 10:24million budget $111 million gross IMDb 6.4 out of 10.
- 10:32I'm good, good job I'm. Good at fucking vocabulary, OK?
- 10:36Did you hear what I said about all the things?
- 10:39Yes, $9 million budget. How much did it make a good a
- 10:43good? Amount it did good, did pretty
- 10:45good. And it's got a decent rating.
- 10:48What was the worldwide gross quacks on?
- 10:53Yeah, 6.4 and $111 million gross.
- 10:57Yeah. OK, I've got our tag lines. 2
- 11:01tag lines, one on the poster. Here comes the fuzz.
- 11:06I like. That I like it a lot. 2nd 1/2
- 11:10man half whoop whoop whoop. I I I jumped at I did that thing
- 11:18where like I I skipped to the next half man, half wolf all
- 11:23cop. That's where the P came from
- 11:26from God damn what the fuck is wrong to me.
- 11:30My my ABS are doing like a little circle was up there and
- 11:33they come in peace. It's after you fucked up
- 11:36Cineflex when it should have been Cineplex.
- 11:38That's. Where it all went wrong?
- 11:40That's that's when you can pinpoint where it all started
- 11:43falling apart from old Travis. OK, so to be or not to be, We
- 11:47don't do the fun facts, but we we dabbled a little bit in it
- 11:52there just a tad with how I did some stuff.
- 11:56So Plex flicks. Yeah.
- 11:59All right, so let us get into it.
- 12:03What did you think of this one, Jesse?
- 12:05Well, first of all, I would like to know why you picked this
- 12:07movie. So, right, I forgot.
- 12:10We do. Yeah, do that.
- 12:13So we do do it. So this is one I remember.
- 12:18I was just kind of like I was looking around on Reddit for fun
- 12:22horror movies one day. This is like months ago too.
- 12:26And I saw somebody recommend this saying like it was like, I
- 12:31was looking for fun, low grade, like just cheese fun stuff.
- 12:36And I saw a recommendation for this and somebody was like
- 12:39really enthusiastic and like supporting like, yeah, you
- 12:42should all fucking check this out.
- 12:44So I looked up the IMDBI, watched the trailer and I was
- 12:47like, oh, this looks like it'd be a lot of fun.
- 12:48Plus kind of reminded me of RoboCop.
- 12:52So and I watched RoboCop recently for the first time and
- 12:54I loved that movie. So I was like fuck it, let's
- 12:57let's give this a shot. Seems like it'd be a lot of fun.
- 12:59It is true you all Travis has gone all in on RoboCop.
- 13:03Yeah, I really want to watch the sequels.
- 13:06I want to show you RoboCop. Have you ever seen RoboCop?
- 13:10Not all the way through. I want to talk about RoboCop on
- 13:12this show. Oh boy.
- 13:13I don't know if it like, I think we can maybe make a case that
- 13:16it's horror adjacent. If you all want to hear us talk
- 13:18about RoboCop, let me know, but. Oh boy.
- 13:22Yeah, it's a fucking banger movie.
- 13:24It's so fucking good. It's gruesome, dude, but I feel
- 13:27like gruesome. Yeah.
- 13:28So yeah, that's why I chose this one.
- 13:30It just seemed like it'd be a fun time, OK?
- 13:33So good. I will start.
- 13:37Yeah, I like that this movie speaks to both of us.
- 13:41This is a personal good for me, yeah, because it's it has like a
- 13:45very like 80s sensibility to it, which is great for you.
- 13:49And it has a very trauma sensibility, which is very good
- 13:52for me. Me.
- 13:54Too. I'm wearing trauma shirt right
- 13:55now I. Don't like both of those things
- 13:56though. I was just.
- 13:57Oh, right, you're you lean more towards the trauma.
- 14:00Yeah, I lean more towards the 80s.
- 14:01Yeah, I also like, I love it when, you know, kind of play
- 14:09like when a movie kind of like plays on your expectations and
- 14:12stuff and the fact that this dude's a fuck up and he's a more
- 14:16competent cop when he's a drunk werewolf.
- 14:18I That's the best gag of the movie.
- 14:22I didn't even think about that. But yeah, like once he goes
- 14:25Wolf, he's like, fuck yeah, I'm a cop.
- 14:27Like he even points as bad. Just like I got a fucking dude.
- 14:30Yeah, like he just, and I, it's also fucking hilarious because
- 14:34he's in that jail cell and like, apparently it was never locked.
- 14:39Oh my God, it just. Like opens the cell.
- 14:43It's not like he bursts through the bars.
- 14:44He just. Yeah.
- 14:46Oh man, you're right. Maybe that's all part of their
- 14:49master plan. Yeah, I don't know.
- 14:51The whole thing is just, it's unsubtle, but like in a really
- 14:54funny and intentional kind of way.
- 14:57And I like it. I like it.
- 14:59I like the oh. Another fun bit for Jesse is the
- 15:03kind of cheesy late aughts new metal S Yeah, that you like to
- 15:11make fun of when we watch movies.
- 15:13You're like, oh, shooting up music.
- 15:15You can thank shooting guns for that because I think that that
- 15:18was all of them and I. Don't know, I might hit up their
- 15:20Spotify. Dude, I mean, think the fucking
- 15:23name. Shooting guns, yeah.
- 15:26If they have a Spotify. Oh sure, that's a good idea to
- 15:28look that up. Have our friend put it all on
- 15:30the way to the party. Today.
- 15:33Yeah. Who knows what it says?
- 15:34Shooting guns. Yeah, it's a movie.
- 15:35It does. Like, you know this guy, he's a
- 15:37cop. He turns into a wolf cop.
- 15:40No, what I do get is a lot of playlists for music to play at
- 15:44the shooting range. Yeah.
- 15:46They're like shooting guns. Oh, you found them?
- 15:49Oh, fuck yeah. Yeah.
- 15:51OK. I, I was really hoping they
- 15:53would have a song called Wolf Cop.
- 15:56I was going to say, maybe they were like the green room band
- 15:58where they're like once you put a digital man who loses its
- 16:01texture. Yeah, I like their their music
- 16:04was kind of it was also really unsubtle and really funny
- 16:07because like when he is fighting those two gang members in the
- 16:11bathroom, like at one point I get the lyrics.
- 16:13They're like, you can fuck my sister if I can't watch it.
- 16:15I was like what the fuck is happening?
- 16:18That was like a really weird line and it just kind of caught
- 16:20me off guard a little bit. I was like, what the fuck?
- 16:23This is what? And that girl was like playing
- 16:26music, like, I wanna fuck music. And that's what that was her
- 16:29ghost. Yeah.
- 16:30And she's like, I might be your sister.
- 16:32Now shapeshifter. Well, yeah, I could shape shift
- 16:35into your sister. Gross.
- 16:39Yeah. OK.
- 16:40Do you have anything else? No, I just had a lot of fun with
- 16:43this. OK, I'm glad you had fun with
- 16:45it. I liked it a lot too.
- 16:47I I liked how much of A fuck up he is as a cop.
- 16:51I that's the thing with this movie is I think that they did a
- 16:55really good job with making all of the characters fun in their
- 16:59own way. They all stood out.
- 17:01They all serve their own purpose.
- 17:03Woo. He's like the fuck up.
- 17:04He's like, he's constantly drinking the entire time.
- 17:08Like every scene of the movie he's got a drink.
- 17:11He's pouring like a whole flask worth into his coffee and like
- 17:15everybody is just like judging him.
- 17:16He's just like fucking something and drinks back the entire time.
- 17:18Tina when she's at the bar and she's trying to confront the
- 17:22bartender, but she gets a call for work and she just goes
- 17:25bitch, it takes her shot, walks out.
- 17:28Yeah, she's funny too. The guy from Final Destination,
- 17:32too. Willie.
- 17:33Yeah, Willie. He's really funny.
- 17:35I liked him a lot in this too. Man, and it's so fun cuz like I
- 17:39just had a moment where I was like, he looks a little familiar
- 17:42and I looked it up and it's like once you realize that, you know.
- 17:46I'm glad that you did that because I had the same thing in
- 17:49my head, but I was like, I don't really know if I would.
- 17:51He just might have that face. Yeah, just one of those faces.
- 17:54But yeah, he's, I'm, I'm pleased we got him as an actor and a
- 17:59character in this movie. For sure.
- 18:01I think that they they did a good job like with the budget
- 18:05and everything, doing some pretty sweet set pieces.
- 18:08They have some amazing kills in this, some good gore effects
- 18:13they let go. There they go, all practical,
- 18:15which, you know, I always appreciate that.
- 18:18It looked really nice. There's some bad with that, but
- 18:21maybe we'll talk about that when we get into our bad, OK, Which I
- 18:24guess is now. OK, that's I'm glad you gave me
- 18:27that segue because I was going to say my bad.
- 18:29Is those moments with the computer you like flash of a
- 18:34face on top of another face like those weird moments?
- 18:38That and also his wolf makeup wasn't exactly the best.
- 18:44No, I like the vibe that it has for the that it's 'cause it's
- 18:47got that practical effect to it, so.
- 18:49Yeah, I know. I'm happy with how it.
- 18:51Is they just took like like they just painted his face and then
- 18:55just like gave him like some fuzz.
- 18:58That was it. Yeah, yeah, I, I guess it does
- 19:01kind of lean into the the old school practical effects, that
- 19:04cool budget. Which is really funny because
- 19:07like An American Werewolf in London, that transformation is
- 19:11like one of the most iconic special effects transformations.
- 19:15So it's funny that the old school effect here is actually
- 19:21one of the things that was very iconic early on.
- 19:25Yeah, that's true. Also, I'd say early on that
- 19:28maybe isn't that old. But yeah, but still, the
- 19:30transformations in this movie were amazing.
- 19:33Yeah, they did a great job of that stuff.
- 19:35Yeah, yeah, it was a that was, it was fun that they, I was
- 19:39really impressed at how much of the transformation we got to
- 19:42see. We didn't see full body, but
- 19:45considering what the budget was, I was impressed with how much we
- 19:48got to see. Yeah, I mean, we saw his like
- 19:50normal human Dick turn into a wolf Dick in an instant, and
- 19:54that takes some skill. I feel like that's a thing that
- 19:57I've never asked for in a werewolf movie, but I'm glad I
- 20:01got. Yeah, 'cause you like, deep down
- 20:03you're like, but what about that Dick?
- 20:05Yeah, like what that look like? So, yeah, but yeah, mainly My
- 20:10bad is just like those weird where we get those like,
- 20:13computer graphics, like flashing on the screen 'cause it just it,
- 20:20it's done so very sparingly that it feels like they're
- 20:24embarrassed by it. And I feel like with everything
- 20:27else in this movie, you got to lean into how cheesy something
- 20:30is or just find a way to sidestep the issue completely.
- 20:33Yeah, it it's the one moment where the movie slipped up and
- 20:37seemed embarrassed of itself. I could see that.
- 20:40Yeah. Yeah, I guess my bad Was I
- 20:43thought that the makeup, I mean, it doesn't look great.
- 20:45But to your point, it does kind of in itself to the overall
- 20:51aesthetic and vibe of the movie. I think that they jammed a lot
- 20:55of shit in early with like that one scene at the bar where
- 20:59they're like, OK, so we're going to introduce Lewis, an
- 21:01alcoholic, Jessica has to be here.
- 21:04Then we're going to get the gang leader, and then we're going to
- 21:06have the mayor campaign here in the bar, too.
- 21:08At the same time, it's like so much is happening.
- 21:11I get it, you're trying to set the shit up, but like, that's a
- 21:13lot. I love the absurdity of a mayor
- 21:16campaigning in the town bar. I know.
- 21:18And they so in like a small town, yeah, like a lot of people
- 21:21are probably. Especially if it's one where
- 21:23like the gang that's clearly running the town, like, yeah,
- 21:26spends its time. Yeah, for sure.
- 21:27Yeah. So OK, over to ugly.
- 21:35I yes, I'm gonna say the attempted assault of Lou where
- 21:42the the bartender got him super drunk and was trying to take him
- 21:47home. Yeah, that's, I mean, I know he
- 21:50was horny for her sober, but it's one thing.
- 21:53Consent, when you're so drunk you can't walk in a straight
- 21:55line. You just can't.
- 21:56It's true. It's one thing if you're both
- 21:58slinging back shots too, but she's like here have like 10
- 22:01shots, I'm going to go close the bar and then you're coming home
- 22:03with. Me.
- 22:03It was clearly like a set up to take advantage of him and like,
- 22:08knowing the end of the movie, it definitely was.
- 22:10But it made me feel icky, yeah. That was pretty.
- 22:14Icky. Also that one guy that has that
- 22:16adorable little yippee pup and it's so fucking mean to it.
- 22:21Yeah, fuck that guy. I'm glad that he gets like he
- 22:23there's an after credit scene where he gets his his
- 22:26comeuppance. But yeah, that.
- 22:29He had it coming. I think I agree with your uglies
- 22:34and especially the dog one also. Just like this fucking cop
- 22:39that's wasted half the time. It's not exactly what you want
- 22:43for somebody with so much power and authority.
- 22:46Someone with a gun. In the gun.
- 22:48Yeah, unchecked power. Also a wolf, although when he
- 22:51becomes wolf, he is good cop. Yeah.
- 22:53So maybe he's wolf cop bad cop. Do you feel good about that?
- 23:00No. OK, OK, absurd.
- 23:07The The Midpoint car Pimp My Ride montage.
- 23:13Oh yeah, why the fuck did they have to pimp up the car?
- 23:17Why did he need to pimp up his police cruiser?
- 23:19At first it was like he was going in there to fix the door.
- 23:22Yeah, he doesn't. But he doesn't.
- 23:24Yeah, which? Is still off the entire movie.
- 23:27Yeah, that was funny. My absurd is the first one I had
- 23:33was Liquor Doughnuts. It reminds me of a scene from
- 23:37Trailer Park Boys. I would eat an entire dozen of
- 23:42liquor Donuts. Actually, this might lend itself
- 23:44to like how Canadian it is because of Trailer Park Boys.
- 23:47But like, it reminds me of that because like there's a thing in
- 23:50Trailer Park Boys where a way he takes a watermelon and he cuts a
- 23:54hole in it and he just takes a bottle of alcohol and he just
- 23:56pours it in the watermelon that. Sounds like the only time I've
- 24:00ever wanted to eat watermelon. Yeah, yeah, well, it fucks you
- 24:03up. So they have alcoholic food up
- 24:05there. We're OK.
- 24:07This is like a good time to ask, were there any Trailer Park Boys
- 24:11actors in this movie? No, no, no one for you.
- 24:15Well, it's a different area. This was in Sesquatchan.
- 24:18I don't know. I fucking butchered that.
- 24:20I'm sure it's Sesquatchan. It's up there in a different
- 24:24region. You know, I'm just not realizing
- 24:26at all. Saskatchewan.
- 24:27Saskatchewan. That's good.
- 24:29Yeah. That's like, I think it's more
- 24:31central north. No.
- 24:32You know what though, I do think that the one gang member that
- 24:38gets his eye poked out, I do think he looks not like J Rock,
- 24:42but like Jamie. Yeah, it's on the face of facts.
- 24:47Mom, I'm white. Yeah.
- 24:50Oh man, I would have loved that. But no, they're like, they're
- 24:52over in Nova Scotia. That's like over there like
- 24:55ways. I don't know fuck all about
- 24:57Canadian geography. Yeah.
- 25:00I know they have provinces. Yeah.
- 25:03And some people speak French. Yeah, yeah, it's a weird little
- 25:10place up there. The other one, my final absurd,
- 25:14is Jesse Moss has a teardrop tattoo.
- 25:20So I thought you were gonna say what I said last night when he
- 25:23walked in where I said it looks like Jesse Moss is and Luke
- 25:26Wilson cost. Oh, that too.
- 25:28Yeah, both of those things. The fact that just seeing them
- 25:31know what that teardrop is like. Come on, man.
- 25:33Like I I can't take you that seriously.
- 25:36That's my other, that was my one of my other signs that we need
- 25:39to watch 22 Jump St. again. The teardrop.
- 25:41Yeah, 'cause Jonah Hill's. Character.
- 25:44Yeah, to. The exotic goods dealer.
- 25:46Yeah, you get some character. Yeah, maybe that's why he was
- 25:49doing there too. OK, so let's rate it.
- 25:54What do you rate this thing out to him?
- 25:5607.75 is a lot of fun. OK, I think I'm going to go
- 26:04there with the Seven. Shane.
- 26:08She hadn't. Yeah, I liked it a lot too.
- 26:10I thought it was a lot of fun. There is a sequel.
- 26:12It has already released. It's called Another Wolf Cop, so
- 26:17yeah. And we can watch it.
- 26:19You all can watch it. It's there.
- 26:21Alright, 7.375 of us are starting average.
- 26:24Alright, not too shabby. Not too shabby.
- 26:27So let's get on into it. Alright, so we begin the movie
- 26:34with some shooting gun soundtrack playing I'm assuming.
- 26:37And my first note, I think, has the potential to be a name of
- 26:42one of their albums. Oh, what?
- 26:43Are you ready? Yeah, yeah.
- 26:45Generic rock and Folks and cloaks.
- 26:47Steampunk guys fangs. Oh man, that's their whole track
- 26:52list right there. Oh man, I love that.
- 26:56Yeah, so yeah. But two Coke figures are chasing
- 26:59this random dude through the woods.
- 27:01There's like Instagrams and shit.
- 27:03Dude, I want these motherfuckers eclipse glasses for the next
- 27:08eclipse we witness. I know they were sweet.
- 27:10Cooler than the dorky. Like 3D glass.
- 27:14Yeah, yeah. And they seem like they've
- 27:16worked so much better, too. There's like a big thing with
- 27:18this movie about the eclipse going on.
- 27:20So all right, so after that, we get Lou, who wakes up in his
- 27:27bed. He's got a girl in bed with him.
- 27:29He he wakes up first thing he does, grab some pants and get
- 27:33him a drink, because he has to get him a beer first thing right
- 27:36out of the gate. Yep, and he is getting ready for
- 27:39work. He's late.
- 27:40He gets into his car. Boots and alleys he throws up
- 27:44and then he's like, all right, going to need another drink
- 27:45after that one. Yeah, when he is in the car,
- 27:50he's listening to the radio. I will say that like they're not
- 27:53quite shock jock types, but they're close to it.
- 27:57They reminded me of the radio station from Funhouse Massacre.
- 28:03OK. Yeah, see.
- 28:05That a little there. It's BAD radio, bad radio.
- 28:10They're talking about all the shit going around in town.
- 28:13There's an upcoming event called The Drink and Shoot.
- 28:16Man if this wasn't Canada I would think it's the Deep South.
- 28:23Canada has a lot in common. They have their own rednecks up
- 28:26there too. I feel like if we drove around
- 28:29enough in Kentucky, we'd find a drink and shoot event.
- 28:32Yeah, dude. And especially this is not just
- 28:35a drink and shoot. So the whole event is that every
- 28:38year the town gets together and they hunt like, their local,
- 28:41like, forest creature, like their version of Bigfoot.
- 28:44Yeah. And it started off, like, many
- 28:47years ago when, like, animals were getting killed.
- 28:50So they're like, all right, we're going to go find the
- 28:51beast. And then eventually alcohol was
- 28:53introduced, as tends to happen. Dude, Can you imagine the
- 28:58sasquatching Sasquatch? Oh my God, that's a fucking
- 29:02mouthful right there. Sasquatching.
- 29:05Sasquatching. Sasquatching you.
- 29:08Oh boy, somebody screen print that on a.
- 29:12Travis, please. Yeah, the radio is also talking
- 29:15about there's a bunch of cats and dogs missing.
- 29:18And they are giving credit to the monster for killing them
- 29:21maybe. See, and here's the thing too,
- 29:23there are like a few moments in this movie that I get very
- 29:25ginger snaps vibes. Like the missing dogs is one and
- 29:29then the other is the peeing blood.
- 29:31Yeah. Oh my God, I didn't even think
- 29:33about that. Yeah.
- 29:34So who comes into work? He is 2 hours late.
- 29:38He hasn't relieved Tina, who has been there since all night.
- 29:42Yes, she did the night shift. Is it just the third?
- 29:45Who do they never get a day off? I don't think what happens to
- 29:49one of them. Sick, that's why.
- 29:51He's drinking all the time because he can't handle this
- 29:53shit. His nose is a shot, yeah.
- 29:57So. She gets a call right before she
- 30:00leaves and she gives the note to him.
- 30:01He's like, can you please take it?
- 30:03And she's like, no, you need to go.
- 30:04It's a disturbance call that came from Willie.
- 30:07It's the piggies. They robbed the store.
- 30:09No, that's why the chief is annoyed, because the the
- 30:13Piggies, that's a local gang that likes to rob convenience
- 30:17stores at night. Maybe this is like like a
- 30:21prequel to Saw how he's like getting the funding to he's
- 30:24getting all the supplies he like robs him and pig masks.
- 30:28See, it could be. So yeah, they get the call.
- 30:32It's Willie Higgins, who they all just kind of like, sigh and
- 30:35roll their eyes when they hear his name.
- 30:38But he called in a disturbance. Call.
- 30:39I don't care what your job is, if you do any kind of work that
- 30:42involves with interacting with other humans in any kind of way,
- 30:46there is always going to be that guy that when you deal with
- 30:50them, you know exactly what the interactions going to be.
- 30:53Like, you know, it's going to be just stupid and it's just not
- 30:56going to be worth it. But he has to go because it's
- 30:58his job. So we goes to go check on it.
- 31:01So when he shows up there, Willie has his own gun store.
- 31:05Uh huh, man. He tells Louie to come into the
- 31:08backroom because he's got something to show him.
- 31:10Is it a gun store slash Funeral Home because he drives a hearse
- 31:15and not like this is a vehicle I bought used and it happened to
- 31:19have been a hearse but like a hearse that still has like the
- 31:21nice clean curtains on the side and it looks like it's get gets
- 31:24washed regularly for funeral processions.
- 31:28Like honestly, I could see that being a thing in certain parts
- 31:32of the world, so I think it could exist here.
- 31:36There's a market for it in this town, I think.
- 31:38Yeah, So he takes them in the backroom and he's like, all
- 31:42right, I got something I need to show you.
- 31:44I've got a video here. A bunch of teenagers doing some
- 31:48shit in the woods, doing sacrifices.
- 31:51That's what's happening to the cats and dogs while we was just
- 31:54pouring like a whole flask worth of alcohol into his mug.
- 31:58And we saw him drinking from the flask on his drive to work, so I
- 32:02have to assume he has multiple flasks.
- 32:04He filled it up at work. He opened up his drawer and this
- 32:07is the thing that I saw online. It looks like Jack Daniels,
- 32:10right? Tennessee whiskey.
- 32:13But I think the label actually reads, I think Jim Diddles, and
- 32:22it's Kentucky bourbon, so it's funny.
- 32:26So yeah, he he, he like some some Kentucky bourbon.
- 32:29Remember folks, it's not real bourbon unless it comes from the
- 32:33bourbon region of Kentucky. Otherwise, it's just sparkling
- 32:36whiskey, OK? That's not true.
- 32:39I'm making a joke. I know I'm just like in case
- 32:42like we are from Kentucky, maybe people are like wow, shit,
- 32:45really? Because there is a Bourbon
- 32:46County. Yeah, now we do take our bourbon
- 32:48seriously. That's why I said the Bourbon
- 32:49region instead of Bourbon County, right?
- 32:51OK, well, yeah, the whole state. OK, so he shows them the tape.
- 32:57It is like Willie just in the woods.
- 32:59Yeah, it's just trash in the woods and like.
- 33:01Pentagrams on trees pentagrams. Look like they came from like
- 33:06the goth section of the Dollar Tree like.
- 33:10Oh my God, yeah. Like Halloween decorations
- 33:12finally came out, so you can just buy some.
- 33:15Yeah. And he's like, it's God damn
- 33:16teenagers out there. They're sacrificing animals and
- 33:19shit. Yeah, and like this video is not
- 33:22proof of anything other than littering.
- 33:25Yeah, that's all. And we also don't have any proof
- 33:26of who it is but. Yeah, so he's like, all right,
- 33:29fuck it. So he like, he pretends to like,
- 33:32go investigate. Yeah, And Willie says, like, if
- 33:34he doesn't figure out who did it, he's going to be performing
- 33:37a citizen's arrest tonight. Oh, yeah.
- 33:40And Lou says he's going to go do some more police work.
- 33:43And by that he means go, take, go, have a couple drinks at the
- 33:46Bore. So he arrives there, meets up
- 33:50with Jessica, who is the bartender.
- 33:53She's there serving drinks. They have like a little bit of
- 33:55flirtation going on here and then as that's going down, Jesse
- 34:00Moss's character, the gang leader, comes in with his boys.
- 34:04Yeah, he's wearing a Max Duster. Yeah, yeah.
- 34:10And then they're about to cause some ruckus when the mayoral
- 34:15hopeful walks in to campaign to the local daytime drinkers.
- 34:20Yeah, taxes, they'll be low or son, that's all you had to say.
- 34:24But. For me, I'm hot, yeah.
- 34:28So they like, run him out of the bar 'cause they don't want to
- 34:30hear him talk. Yeah, so let's see.
- 34:38So that afternoon, Tina comes in for the night shift and a call
- 34:44comes in, but the chief makes Lou answer it.
- 34:46It's another disturbance call. When he goes to the woods, he
- 34:49finds more litter, more the same, and it seems empty, except
- 34:53he hears a scream. So he goes to check it out and
- 34:56he finds a guy that strung up upside down and he gets knocked
- 34:59out and surrounded. The guy.
- 35:01In red cloaks. Happens to be Terry, who is the
- 35:04mayor candidate. OK, we barely see this homie.
- 35:09Yeah, I know. And they didn't really give him
- 35:11his name, but, like, later, like, he was a very important
- 35:14figure in this town. We need to keep this close,
- 35:16which is what happens here. Like the next.
- 35:19OK, Well, yeah. So Woo gets bonked on the head,
- 35:21He gets knocked out and he gets tied up, and then shit happens.
- 35:25And then he just wakes up in his bed.
- 35:28And he has. He steals a scene from the Santa
- 35:31Claus where he goes in to shave his beard and it immediately
- 35:35grows. Oh.
- 35:35My God, you were right. Yeah, yeah, he like does like a
- 35:39queen shave with his razor and it doesn't even take away the
- 35:41stubble at the bottom. Yeah, if you guys were waiting
- 35:45for the moment on your bingo card where we mentioned.
- 35:48Tim Allen's the. Santa Claus, you're welcome.
- 35:51Yeah, it's it's finally happened.
- 35:55He's also got like a giant fucking carve wound on his chest
- 36:00of a pentagram which like how did he not feel that?
- 36:05I don't maybe like the wolfness of it all.
- 36:07Like he's like, because right now he's also, he's smelling
- 36:11things like a little bit more sensitively.
- 36:13Like he like sniffed his coat and he like got the whiff of a
- 36:15wolf. Yeah, and like, he can hear
- 36:18every sound in his apartment. Yeah.
- 36:21But yeah, he bandages himself up.
- 36:23I have a feeling he didn't clean himself but he did have a giant
- 36:26chest size bandage that he just tapes on.
- 36:29I mean, all he had to do is take some of his liquor and just pour
- 36:32it all over himself. But he would never waste a drop
- 36:34like that. He's like, I'll drink it and
- 36:36then it'll make its way down there and then that's when it'll
- 36:38heal. Well, here's the thing to those
- 36:40that a lot of like liquors also have sugars in them, so you have
- 36:43to be. Careful which one you do.
- 36:45That's true. So he is called into the crime
- 36:52scene from the Captain or the Chief.
- 36:54Yep, and. But before he goes, he sees a
- 36:59dog out on the sidewalk being yelled at by his owner, and he
- 37:03growls at him. It's.
- 37:03Because him and the dog are making like eye contact, like
- 37:07the dog's like pretty dog like I can.
- 37:09I think he might be a dog man that's.
- 37:11The look that dogs give me when they're like in their cars and
- 37:14I'm passing them. There was one day I was at a
- 37:16stoplight and I like I was just really distracted or whatever,
- 37:21and I finally turned to the side and there was a dog that looked
- 37:25like it hadn't moved for the entire duration of the
- 37:28stoplight, had just been waiting for me to look over and see it.
- 37:31That's sweet. So I get it.
- 37:32Maybe you're a dog too. Maybe they all think you're
- 37:34dogs. Yeah.
- 37:37So they see the body of Terry there and it's staged to look
- 37:42like he ODD. He's got like a syringe there
- 37:45and like it looks like he's shooting.
- 37:46Out marks on his arm. But The thing is, he's also got
- 37:49a giant fucking gaping neck land.
- 37:53Some wildlife, yes, it's OK. Probably Turkey.
- 37:57Yeah, and like glue, all the while is getting flashbacks of
- 38:03what happened at night. So he sees where they they like
- 38:05fuck this guy up and then he's getting flashbacks of him
- 38:08getting carved up and shit. And they're like, OK, well, we
- 38:12need to keep this on the download before while we have
- 38:16while we work on figuring this out.
- 38:17Cut to the mirror on the news saying, Yep, this is my my
- 38:24arrival in the campaign. He's dead.
- 38:26We're canceling the drink and shoot.
- 38:28Yep. So that's got the whole town
- 38:30pissed off and apparently and like, oh, the drink and shoots
- 38:34cancelled again. The last time it was cancelled
- 38:36was and then it was like, don't you fucking say?
- 38:38Yeah, but it's because of the eclipse.
- 38:40Brings that up to him. Yeah, yeah.
- 38:43So it's because the eclipse, like every time the eclipse
- 38:45happens, the drink and shoots. But as we find out, the last
- 38:48time that this happened was actually when his dad died.
- 38:51Yeah, Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
- 38:53So in the bar he is actually doing some cough work and he
- 38:57figures out that it's every 32 years, which aligns with the
- 39:00eclipse. The bartender decides that she's
- 39:02going to kick everyone else out. It is 10:00.
- 39:05This is some small town shit if I've ever heard it.
- 39:08Yes, absolutely. It's a private party, she calls
- 39:10it so she serves. We will up like 10 shots and he
- 39:14throws every single one of them back.
- 39:16My God, she's like, all right, let me close up and then we'll
- 39:19get out of here. Like my God, the throat ulcer
- 39:22just from doing them back-to-back, like.
- 39:24Yeah, I can't imagine. So he actually gets up and then
- 39:28he almost throws up. So he's like, Oh my God, I gotta
- 39:31go to the bathroom before we leave.
- 39:32Hold on. Yeah, and when he gets in there
- 39:35he is peeing blood and he gets a wolf Dick.
- 39:40Yeah, it's just like. And then the rest of them
- 39:42becomes wolfy. And then some thugs are also
- 39:46sneaking in through the back doors.
- 39:47Yeah, like why? Why were the thugs like, oh, we
- 39:50got to fuck something up in here tonight?
- 39:52Like I don't understand what happened here.
- 39:53And we'll find out later that they were sent there.
- 39:56They were supposed to grab them up.
- 39:58So. But instead they get their shit
- 40:00fucked up. Yeah, they get like shredded.
- 40:04So like he blacks out from this. He doesn't know what the fuck
- 40:08happened. He wakes up the next day
- 40:11handcuffed. You assume because it's like the
- 40:14fuzzy handcuffs. So you think that he had some
- 40:16kinky sex with Jessica that night, but in walks Willie.
- 40:19He's like, sorry buddy, that was the only type of restraints I
- 40:22had on. I do like that Willie had a dog
- 40:25that was just. Chilling.
- 40:25Yeah. Just on the bed.
- 40:27Yeah. I was like, Oh my God, you were
- 40:28a dog man like. That dog was like this is the
- 40:31coolest. Yeah, man, you're a human and a
- 40:33dog. I love this shit.
- 40:36So yeah, Willie's like, yeah, you were a fucking werewolf last
- 40:40night. I shot you.
- 40:42Yeah, he shows him video where he shot him with four tranks.
- 40:45And here's the thing, why I didn't believe his name was Lou
- 40:47Garu for a while because it sounds like the type of nickname
- 40:50that Willie would have just given him.
- 40:51That's what I thought he was like.
- 40:53Y'all look here, Lou Garu is a werewolf.
- 40:55I'm gonna shoot him with some tranks.
- 40:58Oh, Lou Garu. Yeah, like it doesn't really
- 41:00sound like a like a nickname. And he's like, I washed your
- 41:03uniform. It looked dirty, so I didn't put
- 41:05it in the cold wash. And Lou goes, I think trunk, he
- 41:08goes, what's that? Thank you for doing a nice favor
- 41:12for me as a friend. You're welcome.
- 41:14Do you want some eggs? What's that?
- 41:15Thank you, Willie. Is that what I heard?
- 41:17Yeah. I love the banter that they have
- 41:19here. So yeah, he's like, alright, I'm
- 41:20gonna make you some breakfast and then he's like make some
- 41:23eggs and then he like. Powdered wolf Spain that he's
- 41:26just like. Yeah, just like puts in there.
- 41:28You want like the faking stuff that we have?
- 41:29Yeah, yeah, man, what's some fucking bacon in there?
- 41:32And then he serves it to he gives him a drink first.
- 41:36That way he's not suspicious. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 41:38Like, because he's about the bell, but he's like, here, I've
- 41:40got some alcohol for you. He's like, oh fuck yeah.
- 41:42And he drinks the entire bottle in one gulp.
- 41:45And then when he takes it by, he's like, he's like, sorry,
- 41:49Wolfsbane had tests. Yeah, and he's like, all right,
- 41:51let me get some real legs this time.
- 41:53As all of this is going down, Tina pulls up outside.
- 41:57Yep, she's there to pick him up for work because they've got to
- 42:00go see this crime scene that is at the bar while they're there
- 42:06and they're cleaning all this up.
- 42:07Tina tells the chief that she thinks they need to bring in
- 42:09reinforcements from the city, and he goes, no, we're keeping
- 42:13this local. It's very much like the
- 42:15beginning of cabin fever, too. Oh yeah, yeah, like we're.
- 42:18Containing this. Oh man, I wish party cop was
- 42:21here. Yeah, man, Can you imagine party
- 42:26copping Willie? Oh my God that duo would be so
- 42:29great. Yeah, so Lou goes to apologize
- 42:34to Jessica and she's like, no, you saved me in the bathroom.
- 42:41Here's where Tina stops being like this straight laced goody
- 42:44goody. She's like cleaning up evidence
- 42:46and she finds face skin. And she's like, hey.
- 42:48This looks like you, Lou. I'm Lou.
- 42:50Give me a drink. I like how the cop in the
- 42:54background just can't help but, like, laugh.
- 42:56I was like, yeah, it's pretty funny.
- 42:58Or it's like the coroner is who it is.
- 43:00Yeah, yeah, I know. Like how like he's doing his
- 43:04investigation. She's like, well, it looks like
- 43:07it could have been a lover's quarrel.
- 43:09Like there's like blood everywhere, isn't?
- 43:12Four of the body parts everywhere.
- 43:14Yeah, I'd say. This is a lavish quarrel.
- 43:17Yeah, but we was like, you know what, Tina?
- 43:21You cover for me all the time. How about I cover your shift?
- 43:24And she's like, OK, thanks. This is where we cut to the gang
- 43:27leader being mad at the one surviving thug from last night.
- 43:31He said. I told you guys to be there at
- 43:3210. If you're late, you lose.
- 43:35Keep an eye on the time. And then he stabs his eyeball
- 43:39out. Yeah.
- 43:40Yep, Yep. This is outside of Jesse Moss I
- 43:42didn't expect to see. It's not that he's never been
- 43:45like a bad guy before, because Tucker and Dale, yeah, I was
- 43:47going to say that's kind of his whole fucking deal on Tucker and
- 43:50Dale, but it's a different kind of that guy.
- 43:51Yeah, it's a little bit more sinister, like, yeah, Tucker and
- 43:57Dale, he was just like an ass always, like fuck hillbillies.
- 44:00And then he turns into the villain.
- 44:01Yeah, yeah. And then in Final Destination
- 44:05three, he's like, oh man, my girlfriend is so terrified and I
- 44:08need somebody to keep an eye out for.
- 44:10I'm not going you. Know but.
- 44:12I need somebody else. Somebody needs to do it, not me.
- 44:17All right, so after that, Wu goes to search the occults.
- 44:22Yes, he goes to the library and that's where we get the opening
- 44:25line that Jesse had. I like, I think it's really
- 44:28funny. It is really funny, yeah.
- 44:30Yeah, he's studying the history of the drink and shoot, and we
- 44:32see, like, pictures of him as a little boy with his dad and Tina
- 44:36as a little girl with her dad. It's interesting that they have
- 44:39all this history there, but I guess that's kind of what
- 44:42libraries do. The microfiche, yeah.
- 44:44A little microfiche and then he finds the book that talks about
- 44:49werewolves. I'm.
- 44:50Gonna be really honest though with this whole montage, at
- 44:53first I thought that they were just going to because it kept
- 44:57saying drink and shoot cancelled.
- 44:59I thought it was just going to be a montage of the word
- 45:01cancelled going across the. Screen because it was.
- 45:04It happened so many times at the beginning and I was like this.
- 45:06Would be hilarious. That would be pretty funny.
- 45:08I wish that they did that. But yeah, he figures out about
- 45:12the eclipse, and then he also gets some information on the
- 45:15occult and he learns that in some mythologies, werewolves are
- 45:20created by a baptism of blood from the sacrifice of an
- 45:24innocent. And then they usually pick a
- 45:28village idiot. Easy, easy to contain.
- 45:32And then this is kind of like, and it's funny cuz his name is
- 45:35Lou. This is kind of like an hot tub
- 45:36time machine when John Cusack and Craig Robinson are talking
- 45:40bad shit. Yeah, when he's like, yeah, he's
- 45:42supposed to be knocked out. Yeah, he's like, he's like it's
- 45:45Craig is bad. He's boss.
- 45:47He's got that one runt ball. It's a.
- 45:49Little shriveled Raisin, Yeah. It's all just Willy talking
- 45:54straight to. Loose.
- 45:55It's just. Bold when you know the man's a
- 45:57werewolf. Yeah, it's pretty.
- 45:58Funny, so they like the whole point is to drain the blood of
- 46:04the werewolf during the snow water eclipse, which is when the
- 46:06wolf is at its weakest. Yes because it it will be a wolf
- 46:11because of darkness, but it's not night time so it's not
- 46:15strong. Yeah, so they.
- 46:18Any of this is real. No, most assuredly not.
- 46:22So they decide that they're going to record Lou's
- 46:25transformation this time. So he is like standing in a jail
- 46:28cell in his underwear. Yeah, Will is really fighting
- 46:31for him to remove the boxers. He.
- 46:33Wants to see the Dick transformation.
- 46:34I know well watch the movie, pal, because you get a pretty
- 46:38good glimpse at it. So as they're like fighting over
- 46:42that team to show up, Yeah. And she's like, what the fuck
- 46:45are you doing here right now? Like, And he's like, yeah, don't
- 46:48worry about it. So, and she makes, she makes
- 46:51Willie leave for a second so she can talk.
- 46:52And she's like, listen, I know that we haven't always gotten
- 46:55along. But The thing is, I've been
- 46:56doing some research of my own. I don't think that my dad's
- 47:00death was an accident and I don't think your your dad's
- 47:05death was an accident either. So the general implication is
- 47:08that her dad's her dad was the sacrifice that made his dad a.
- 47:12Wolf, he was a good guy. Dad was the village idiot.
- 47:17It's a family tradition. So that's it.
- 47:22She leaves after that and then after that happens, it's time
- 47:26because like she showed up right before 10.
- 47:28O'clock, which is. When the transformation seems to
- 47:30always happen. Yeah, and his skin starts
- 47:32ripping. Off man, it's so.
- 47:34Good. It's so gross and Willie's like
- 47:36shit, I'm not recording so he only gets like the very end of.
- 47:39It Yeah. So they're playing Go Fish, but
- 47:45Lou was grabbing like all of the cards from Willie's hand and
- 47:48he's like, man, this game has gone on for three fucking hours,
- 47:51Take one card at a time. So as that's going on, Lou gets
- 47:58a call about a robbery in progress.
- 48:00He just. Opens the jails and.
- 48:05He like goes and grabs his uniform, his badge and shit.
- 48:08You can't go there right now. And he goes.
- 48:11Yeah, copy points at the badge. He's like, I gotta fucking do
- 48:14this shit. It's the piggies.
- 48:16They're at a gas station and it looks like they're not trying to
- 48:19steal money, they're just trying to steal booze.
- 48:21They're at the liquor doughnut store is what it is.
- 48:24And yeah, they just wanna get fucked up.
- 48:26I mean, this is like Trailer Park Boys again.
- 48:29Robin Worker store is kind of a common thing in Canada.
- 48:32I'm starting to gather. So yeah, they're there.
- 48:36This. Is the propaganda Canada doesn't
- 48:38want to get out they're like, we worked really hard to build our
- 48:41reputation we're. Supposed to be the Nice guys,
- 48:43Yeah, Not the French people or sometimes French people that rob
- 48:47liquor stores. Wow, you went hard on the French
- 48:50there for? A second try this and maybe
- 48:52werewolves they're. Definitely werewolves cause
- 48:56ginger snaps are shot in candy. Oh my God, you're right.
- 49:00Holy shit, that is insane. OK, so yeah, like Lou attacks
- 49:05them. He he like kills one of them and
- 49:09then he scares the other one like.
- 49:11Uncares it to death or. Death, yeah.
- 49:13'Cause the next morning they're saying there were multiple
- 49:15deaths at the scene. So.
- 49:17Yeah, but it's a pretty good scene.
- 49:18Like they he fucks them up pretty thoroughly.
- 49:20And Willie's like way to keep a low profile and then Lou just
- 49:23rips the whole door off the court.
- 49:25And I'm always like talking to him like an idiot the entire
- 49:28time and. Then he sees The Body Shop
- 49:31across the street and they go in there for a little Pimp My Rod
- 49:34moment, and then they go riding around town trying to do a
- 49:41little vigilante justice. This reminded me 'cause I said.
- 49:44Here's the thing, OK, he's a wolf cop.
- 49:48So like that's probably not on the up and up, which is like
- 49:51kind of the vigilante piece, but also he is a cop.
- 49:55So is it still vigilante? Rogue cop.
- 50:00OK, Yeah. OK.
- 50:01Because he's going a little bit past his authority here.
- 50:04OK. But this reminds me of why
- 50:06because we watched after this Pineapple Express, and it made
- 50:09me think of that scene where Red and Seth Rogen's character are
- 50:13rolling into that. Yeah.
- 50:15Dale. Yeah.
- 50:16Dale didn't. And it's like him and Danny
- 50:17McBride are like thug life. And they're just like driving
- 50:20and listening to Public Enemy. Yeah.
- 50:24So yeah, let's see they. Find some kids that are doing
- 50:30graffiti. They do graffiti all over this
- 50:32fucking town and they've not been stopped until now.
- 50:35Yeah, he does. The wolf pees on him.
- 50:36Pees on him yeah like I was hoping that the pee would melt
- 50:39them or something but no they just get peed on they.
- 50:41Seem like teenage boys. And I think that's like the
- 50:44ultimate, like, shame punishment, you know, like
- 50:48they've been peed on. That's true, yeah.
- 50:50Once you got peed on, like, yeah, you can't be taken
- 50:53seriously. Like a badass?
- 50:55Yeah, that only works on like, Jackass.
- 50:57So that's kind of like their whole shtick is being fucking
- 50:59stupid and gross. Yeah, that's true.
- 51:01Yeah. Like Pine's like I'm ashamed of
- 51:04myself. OK, so at the bar, Tina arrived
- 51:10to talk to Jessica for a minute, but.
- 51:12Yeah. Like as soon as she gets there
- 51:13she gets called into the crime scene.
- 51:17Yeah, and that's where she just like that cuz she like, it
- 51:21sounds like she has this whole speech plan cuz she's like, you
- 51:23know, I used to sit right here next to my dad while he did some
- 51:26cop work. And then she gets a call that
- 51:28she's got to go to the station and she like does a shot
- 51:30request. She goes.
- 51:31Bitch, yeah, it's really funny. And she's like, all right, I
- 51:35gotta go. So yeah, the chief is there and
- 51:40he's like, what happened? She goes, I don't know, you
- 51:43called me here. Yeah, so now we cut to like a
- 51:48party that's being held by the gang leader in a barn.
- 51:51In a barn. Which is just.
- 51:55It's funny because they're like in their like Leathers and
- 51:59stuff. Yeah, it's almost like a Lost
- 52:01boy attire. Yeah.
- 52:02Yeah, but they it's also like a meth lab, so I get why they're
- 52:04in a barn, but it's just kind of a funny juxtaposition of
- 52:07aesthetics. He's doing like lines of maybe
- 52:10meth. It's red though.
- 52:12Yeah, I don't really, but in Breaking Bad it was blue.
- 52:15I thought maybe it was like, I thought maybe he did something
- 52:20to like coagulate the blood of the last like wolf.
- 52:25Could be, although I'm thinking more about the possibility of it
- 52:29being red because in Breaking Bad Jesse before he met Walt
- 52:34would his secret recipe was throwing in chili powder, which
- 52:38I would assume would make it reddish.
- 52:41So maybe he's doing chili powder meth here.
- 52:44OK, this might sound naive of me because I don't do drugs, but I
- 52:48thought you could only smoke meth.
- 52:51I mean I. Don't know.
- 52:52I mean, I suppose you can probably snort anything if you
- 52:55put your mind to it, but I think some of it kills.
- 52:58You. Oh, yeah.
- 52:58I don't know. I think that you are right,
- 53:01though. I think you have to smoke it.
- 53:02But that's the only way that I've seen it done in media.
- 53:06But then again, media is not the best representative of how
- 53:09things should be done always. So yeah, he's doing drugs.
- 53:16Yeah, he's doing drugs. The point is that Lou busts in
- 53:18and kills some of the gang members and sets the lab on
- 53:20fire. Yeah.
- 53:22He just fucks shit up in there. Jessica is waiting at the
- 53:26station when they get back. It's a very little Red Riding
- 53:28Hood esque moment. She's dressed.
- 53:30In like as Red Riding, she's. Got a picnic basket.
- 53:33Yeah. And then we get like the 4th
- 53:36montage of the film. I love a montage.
- 53:39So this has been really fantastic for me as a movie.
- 53:41That's true. Yeah.
- 53:43It's one of those freaky sex montages.
- 53:46Yeah I wish she used the body double for this part because she
- 53:49gets full naked. Also like the boobs seem smaller
- 53:56than they should based. On on the body double.
- 53:58Yeah, yeah, different boob age. Yeah, yeah.
- 54:01But like, it's just like some full on Wolf Cup Jessica sex.
- 54:06The song is like something about like Make Love to me in the
- 54:08moonlight too or something which I just think is perfect.
- 54:12Shooting guns, man. Yeah, so afterwards she pours
- 54:16him some coffee and he it spikes so he passes out and then she
- 54:21shape shifts to the mayor. This.
- 54:24Really threw me off at first. I was like, wait, she was old
- 54:26the whole time. Oh, you and Lou had the same
- 54:29initial reaction. Yeah, I was.
- 54:31Just for me, I was like, 'cause my immediate question, any shape
- 54:35shifting media is like, so were they the same person or did she
- 54:39just choose that form because she knew Lou was into Jessica?
- 54:43That's what I thought too. I think Jessica is her main form
- 54:45though 'cause she switches back to it later.
- 54:48So yeah, she is evil. She is a shapeshifter.
- 54:52She is one of the quoked figures from the beginning of the movie.
- 54:55And Willie's job was to contain him until the moonlight.
- 54:59Yeah, Willie's in on it. He's also a shapeshifter.
- 55:01Light until the eclipse. Yeah, I gotcha.
- 55:04So yeah, he was supposed to hold Lou the entire time and he's
- 55:07like I. Don't know, this one's
- 55:08different. Something about him being drunk
- 55:10makes him extra strong. Yeah, he's like, he's just
- 55:12stronger. I don't know what it is, man.
- 55:14So Tina sees the footage of Lou having sex and she gets mad
- 55:20about it and then she suits up and she decides to go.
- 55:24And look for him. She's not mad yet sex.
- 55:27She just doesn't trust Jessica. And she also saw Jessica and
- 55:30Willie carrying his body out. OK, yeah, well she calls him a
- 55:34wolf fucker or her a wolf fucker later.
- 55:36So she's, yeah, she's mad at Jessica about it.
- 55:39So it's like one hour till the solar eclipse at this point.
- 55:44Yeah, So the gang arrives to the woods.
- 55:47They've got their mission. Lou is tied up, and Willie and
- 55:51Ray are also shape shifters. Willie has also been the crime
- 55:54scene analyst and Ray has also been the gang leader.
- 55:58Yes, so. So yeah, and they're all in
- 56:03their quotes now, too. Yeah, and they have held control
- 56:06of this town for 200 years. Yeah.
- 56:09So Tina arrives. She's shooting the gang members.
- 56:12Yeah, I was. Going to say so she just started
- 56:13blasting, yeah. She's just fucking them all off.
- 56:16Meanwhile, Wu does his transformation because it's
- 56:1910:00 now. No, because it's the Eclipse.
- 56:22Well, yeah, but I think it's also the time, right?
- 56:24No, because the whole point of the eclipse.
- 56:25Is. Happening during the day.
- 56:27I got you. OK?
- 56:28It's a solar eclipse, babe. OK, yeah, yeah, you're right.
- 56:31OK, So yeah, he he turns into a wolf.
- 56:33Now the eclipse is happening. Yeah, so they do stab him and
- 56:38they start filling up a chalice. Why like God cult people are so
- 56:43fucking like theatrical, Yeah. It's all over the time.
- 56:46Get my little like gem encrusted chalice to drink your blood out
- 56:51of. I mean, if you're going to go
- 56:53there, go all out. I.
- 56:54Respect it. I feel like if it was me, I
- 56:56would just like harken back to my college days.
- 56:59Some Franzia slap the bag and I just like smack loose chest and
- 57:04yeah. Do you?
- 57:08Like how I slapped you for demonstration?
- 57:10Yeah, it was very. Effective.
- 57:12So yeah, Lou breaks free because Tina shows up and starts to.
- 57:16She keeps his like restraint free.
- 57:18Yeah, so he's free now. He runs away.
- 57:21They all go chasing after him. Tina holds up Jessica though,
- 57:26and. They fight, fight.
- 57:29Yeah, she like wizes control of the gun and they're all rolling
- 57:32around. Yeah, Lou ends up getting that
- 57:38gun that gets lost. It's.
- 57:40Like a machine gun though this time and he just starts fucking
- 57:43blasting. It's like insane.
- 57:45He killed so many people. The gang members are not shape
- 57:48shifters though, which surprised me because they seem shocked
- 57:52when Rey turns into the gang leader.
- 57:56That confused me. I was surprised that they didn't
- 57:58know. Yeah, I thought that they were
- 58:00like part of it, but I guess they keep their 'cause, you
- 58:02know, the power hungry leaders, they want to keep it all to
- 58:06themselves. That's.
- 58:07Fair. It's only three people.
- 58:08Yeah, so he saves Tina during the scuffle and the boss shoots
- 58:16Loo. Yeah, so.
- 58:19He reveals that he was the one that killed his dad.
- 58:21Yeah, and he also stabs Tina, so they're like fighting, but Lou
- 58:29ends up shooting him in the head.
- 58:31Because he chugs some booze and it gives him more power.
- 58:34It's like spinach and Popeye. It really is.
- 58:37Yeah. He he grabs him like a flask or
- 58:39some shit, drinks it and he's like.
- 58:41Honey Boo Boo and her Go go juice.
- 58:44Yeah. And then he turns back to
- 58:47normal. Yeah, and they're both like ow.
- 58:51And he was like, how about a drink?
- 58:53And she goes, how about in the hospital?
- 58:56And he goes two stops then. Yeah.
- 58:58So I I like the I like their weird friendship that they are
- 59:02going to have now. I could see, I hope that they
- 59:04are both in the sequel. I hope so, I'm very excited to
- 59:07watch the sequel. Yeah, we want to see.
- 59:09What happens? And that's how it ends.
- 59:11But there is an after credits scene.
- 59:14It is back at the house we see the dog that quacks that Lou was
- 59:19a werewolf from the beginning of the movie.
- 59:21He lets out one single little and the man comes out and goes,
- 59:25waking up the whole God damn neighborhood.
- 59:28This man would not like our neighborhood.
- 59:30No, he wouldn't. Every house has dogs, and not
- 59:33every single one of us with dogs has taught our pets to use their
- 59:37voices to express themselves. Not only.
- 59:40That it is a tiny dog. It doesn't need to be an outside
- 59:43dog. This dog can very comfortably
- 59:44live inside the house, but he's about to, like, hit the dog
- 59:48again. But as he's about to go over
- 59:50there, Lou shows up as this wolf cop and scares him away.
- 59:53And him and the dog, like, give each other, like, a little nod
- 59:56of respect. Yeah.
- 59:57And that's how it ends. So.
- 1:00:01OK. I think 7.75 is right for this.
- 1:00:05Yeah, I'll bump it to 7.5. I like this one a lot.
- 1:00:08It's a lot of fun. It's just like some cheesy bee
- 1:00:11horror movie fun and shit right there.
- 1:00:13So if that's your jam, I think that you guys would like this
- 1:00:15one too. So 7.625 OK, what is one change
- 1:00:23you would make? I, I, I don't know, I think I
- 1:00:37would have liked to have seen him be more of a cop because I
- 1:00:41feel like we just get that one sequence of it.
- 1:00:44It's yeah, I mean, it's very, like I said before, it's very
- 1:00:47trauma esque because it's like his Toxie montage where he's
- 1:00:51going. Around it's a while like that.
- 1:00:53I would have liked for it to have been more RoboCop esque
- 1:00:56where he becomes the souped up version of a cop and like we
- 1:01:00just get the rest of the movie him tackling all kinds of
- 1:01:04different threats and then it all builds up to the ultimate
- 1:01:07threat which is the boss. OK.
- 1:01:10I think that that would have been kind of cool.
- 1:01:12I was also kind of thinking of maybe like the corruption of
- 1:01:14Ryan and the boys right now, where he's like wanting to learn
- 1:01:18to use his power for good, except.
- 1:01:20Yeah, he it's. Kind of Papa Homelander and
- 1:01:24this. Guy that's sad, that's.
- 1:01:26Sad. Hey, slap PJ Burns.
- 1:01:28Probably not the first time that sentence has ever been said.
- 1:01:32It's another final destination, Yeah.
- 1:01:36I don't know anything about PJ Brands as a person.
- 1:01:38I just mean the characters he plays.
- 1:01:40And they're all usually assholes.
- 1:01:41Yeah. Misogynistic asshole has to be
- 1:01:44precise. OK what?
- 1:01:50This is Scout's, Yeah, so. What was Scout's favorite part
- 1:01:54of the movie? So Scout was actually really
- 1:01:57incense. She.
- 1:01:57Was she was watching the whole that all of them were, they were
- 1:02:01all paying attention. I think Scout was watching the
- 1:02:03most intensely, though, because I think she knew that this was
- 1:02:06her time. Yeah.
- 1:02:08And she was like, I want everybody to know I'm paying
- 1:02:09attention. I think that she liked the part
- 1:02:15where the most movement I saw from her was the scene with the
- 1:02:25dog making eye contact with Hulu.
- 1:02:28That seemed to get like a genuine reaction from her.
- 1:02:32She seemed happy from that. Travis, obviously her favorite
- 1:02:38part is when Lou and Jessica have big plans and they're
- 1:02:41getting ready to do something and then he decides that he's
- 1:02:44going to throw up and make a mess.
- 1:02:45Yeah, you're. So right, she wants to do that.
- 1:02:49She's like, I got a hairball comb and she's like.
- 1:02:52Oh, you're running late for work?
- 1:02:53Guess. What?
- 1:02:54It's a mess. You're so right.
- 1:02:58Like, oh, oh, you just got back from dinner and we're all going
- 1:03:01to cuddle and watch a movie. I think I'm gonna throw out
- 1:03:04multiple places. Yeah, I'm sorry, I just can't
- 1:03:06help myself eating all this fuzz.
- 1:03:08Yeah. Oh, hey, can we have dinner now?
- 1:03:11I'm quite empty. Yeah.
- 1:03:14OK, so who did you relate to? I guess I relate to all of the
- 1:03:27people, all the fine people in this movie who patronize liquor.
- 1:03:30Donuts. Oh man, I like liquor and I like
- 1:03:32Donuts. Yeah, I related to the to either
- 1:03:37Lou or the dog whenever they did that scene, mostly Lou, I guess
- 1:03:39because whenever I see a dog, I like to like make eye contact
- 1:03:42with them to like, oh, dog like, you know, just like we
- 1:03:45acknowledge each other and we want to go see each other, OK.
- 1:03:50What are your hopes for the and Tina and Lou being in it?
- 1:03:54I would, I would like for him to.
- 1:04:00I think it would be kind of cool for them to embrace the fact
- 1:04:04that he's a cop that is also a wolf now.
- 1:04:06OK, so like the town knows and they know like OK, after night
- 1:04:12time you don't do shit. But then again we get those bold
- 1:04:15people that still do shit. He killed the mayor.
- 1:04:19What if he becomes Wolf Mare? Wolf Mare.
- 1:04:22But he's also a cop. He's got to be a cop, so that's
- 1:04:26the thing. So if he's a mayor and cop, then
- 1:04:29awesome, I'm for that. That would be a lot of fun.
- 1:04:32OK. I just want to see him be more
- 1:04:35of this character. And do we want another like
- 1:04:37mythological creature brought into it?
- 1:04:41You can have a. Bigfoot vampires would be
- 1:04:46interesting too. Yeah, if you want to go like the
- 1:04:48classic movie monster. Yeah, I like the idea of Bigfoot
- 1:04:51though, because that is kind of like the whole ruse ruse around
- 1:04:58the like the. Thing is, is an actual, like,
- 1:05:01maybe the next movie is the shooting.
- 1:05:03Yeah. And like, there really is one.
- 1:05:06Yeah. But the townsfolk, OK, maybe
- 1:05:09they don't know about him being wolf copy yet, but it's that and
- 1:05:13they think that he is. And they're like, Oh my God,
- 1:05:15it's dressed as a cop. But then there's also the actual
- 1:05:18beast itself out there and he's taking the heat for the monster.
- 1:05:25Everybody's mad at him. They think that he is there
- 1:05:27killing the pets and everything and all the people, but the the
- 1:05:32Sasquatch is really doing it. And he has to take out the
- 1:05:34Sasquatch to prove himself. OK, I dig it.
- 1:05:39I. Don't think that that could
- 1:05:40work. OK, tag.
- 1:05:44What do we do? Tag.
- 1:05:45No, not for. We don't do tag because we.
- 1:05:46Don't do art for this one. That's true.
- 1:05:48Yeah. OK, so it is time for review.
- 1:05:51OK. All right, so as this tradition
- 1:05:53for two beer not to be, we pull two reviews, one that is good
- 1:05:56and one that's bad yes. So we'll start off with the
- 1:06:02start off with the good. OK so this one, they rated it 6
- 1:06:07out of 10, but I liked what they said about it.
- 1:06:10So it's titled the Trolls Two of werewolves.
- 1:06:15The film is a low budget, can't be completely non serious
- 1:06:18Canadian movie about a cop turned into a werewolf so that
- 1:06:21his blood can be harvested by shape shifters.
- 1:06:24It reminded me of Trolls 2 with the same kind of non existent
- 1:06:27acting yet strong impact. No box sounds worse than flower
- 1:06:33anyway, doesn't it? Which is werewolf backwards.
- 1:06:37There is a little point in talking about the ply as there
- 1:06:40is none. The script itself leaves much to
- 1:06:41be desired. So why did I feel like I had fun
- 1:06:43watching it despite its many flaws?
- 1:06:46Probably because it was clear that the film did not take
- 1:06:48itself seriously. There are many ways one can try
- 1:06:51to sell the idea of a werewolf cop other than a hairy beast
- 1:06:54dressed in police uniform and driving a pimped police cruiser
- 1:06:57with a big W on it. The gore itself, even if a lot,
- 1:07:01looks more like woohoo. We did gore in our film and it
- 1:07:04looks kind of real instead of scary.
- 1:07:06It makes you root for the success of the movie.
- 1:07:08Bottom line, really be in all respects and probably enjoyable
- 1:07:13to a select few. However, I am among the shape
- 1:07:15shifting elite running the world from those shadows and lacking
- 1:07:18stuff like this. I do like most of that review.
- 1:07:21I wouldn't say that it's similar to trolls too though.
- 1:07:24I wouldn't either. I like your.
- 1:07:25Trauma. Yeah, I'm going to say, as much
- 1:07:27as I love trolls too, it just doesn't feel in the same kind of
- 1:07:31energy or spirit. Yeah.
- 1:07:33So yeah, I think trolls too was like a legit intent that being
- 1:07:35like scary just like very, very poorly handled.
- 1:07:38This is like. This knew what it was doing.
- 1:07:41Yeah, they very much knew what they were doing with it.
- 1:07:44OK, and the bad review is a 2 out of 10.
- 1:07:48Awful in every respect is the title.
- 1:07:51As someone who enjoyed the wonderful B level horror and
- 1:07:54action films of the glorious heydays of the 80s and 90s, I
- 1:07:57was rather looking forward to this werewolf theme caught film.
- 1:08:00First, it should be noted this movie was sort of crowdfunded.
- 1:08:04Cineplex is the main theater chain in Canada and they offered
- 1:08:07an online contest for amateur film makers to submit a short
- 1:08:10trailer. The Prize $1,000,000 budget and
- 1:08:12theatrical distribution. OK.
- 1:08:15The $1,000,000 is certainly on the screen.
- 1:08:17The FX are pretty good. Like gore or like gore?
- 1:08:20Like monster FX, You'll get your fix.
- 1:08:23But the rest of the movie stunk. It stinks.
- 1:08:25Just awful, putrid filmmaking. The fact that this film was the
- 1:08:28winner of this contest is or on infuriating.
- 1:08:32Whether or not better plus slash films to pick from, who knows.
- 1:08:34But I mean cod. I recognize Jonathan Cherry from
- 1:08:37that other piece of direct, House of the Dead.
- 1:08:40OK, actor. But yeah, he's about to shit on
- 1:08:43Final Destination too. OK actor but man he gets stuck
- 1:08:48in bad films. Leo Fafard Fafford.
- 1:08:51God damn it Travis. Leo Fafford is the lead.
- 1:08:55He deserves better than this. I mean for Christ's sake, his
- 1:08:58character's name is Glue Garu. That that a pun?
- 1:09:03Because in Francis Loop garuop means werewolf.
- 1:09:09Get it? Such as the genius comedic
- 1:09:12writing of this film which strives to be funny and
- 1:09:15action-packed. It's just lame.
- 1:09:17There's better films from the 90s with the exact same plot
- 1:09:20full called full Eclipse. Watch that one and said this one
- 1:09:24was weak sauce. Man, I don't know, I disagree
- 1:09:29with the acting comments. I did too, yeah.
- 1:09:32And like I because. I think Louie and Jonathan
- 1:09:35Cherry both did a really good job and I think everybody in the
- 1:09:37cast was really good. Yeah, for sure.
- 1:09:40They I feel like they captured that vibe that he was talking
- 1:09:44about the 80s and 90s. Like like cheesy vibe.
- 1:09:47Yeah, and honestly, like, nobody felt like they were phoning it
- 1:09:52in or like, grinning and bearing it, you know what I mean?
- 1:09:56It felt like they were having fun.
- 1:09:59Yeah, like everybody like from like the director, the crew,
- 1:10:02everything like that. This seemed like it would have
- 1:10:04been a fun project to work on. Yeah.
- 1:10:06And I thought that they did a great job.
- 1:10:08They did a really good job with this.
- 1:10:09It was fun. It was short, too.
- 1:10:11It's only 70 minutes and that's including credits.
- 1:10:13So like you're getting a nice tight.
- 1:10:15Yeah, just take the time you need to tell the story.
- 1:10:18Yeah, you don't have to do any more or any less.
- 1:10:22So yeah, that's it for the reviews.
- 1:10:25So it's time for the titular question To be or not to be.
- 1:10:30I'm going to go with yes, absolutely, absolutely.
- 1:10:33You got to watch this movie. This movie is awesome.
- 1:10:35If you if you jive with the normal movies that we like on
- 1:10:40the show, then I think you would like this movie too if you watch
- 1:10:43it so. Yeah, I think it's fun.
- 1:10:45I would definitely watch it again and I definitely plan on
- 1:10:48watching the sequel. Yeah, for sure.
- 1:10:50I think it'd be a good time. So, yeah, yeah, it gets thumbs
- 1:10:53up from us. Yay.
- 1:10:55All right, so that is going to be it for this month's To be or
- 1:10:59not to be? Yep.
