- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's La La Kent.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to untraditionally, Laala, Hello, gorgeous, Welcome to untraditionally, Laala.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I am so thrilled to be back on this Wednesday,
- 0:15Speaker 2: Happy hump Day. Oh last week was one hell of
- 0:20Speaker 2: a week.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Let me tell you what you're just say, what's the wrong?
- 0:25Speaker 1: What's wrong? Harry? Did some little Philly break your heart? Yeah?
- 0:29Speaker 1: What did some little Philly break your heart?
- 0:31Speaker 2: And not a Philly? But I'm thinking about switching that way.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I'm really thinking about.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Like guys, it's been a rough of weeks in this home.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Well just between like the surgeries that have been happening,
- 0:45Speaker 2: which we've spoken about that are super depressing, and then
- 0:47Speaker 2: like me for the first time in god knows how long,
- 0:52Speaker 2: letting my guard down and then immediately wishing that I
- 0:54Speaker 2: wouldn't have done that. But we live and we learn,
- 0:58Speaker 2: I know, but it took me out.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't say yeah, your energy is fantastic today.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Can I be honest? Oh, you've been a buzz killington
- 1:08Speaker 1: for the past two weeks?
- 1:09Speaker 2: So it two weeks? Why two weeks? Well, Mom had
- 1:17Speaker 2: her surgery and then I was.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And you went to Vegas, and when I got home
- 1:24Speaker 1: from Coachella, you had been a little distant from your
- 1:30Speaker 1: own self and mind.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I definitely lost sight of myself and I learned a lot.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I learned a lot and I'm I was saying to East,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and I was like, I this feeling is not worth it.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I'm never opening up again. Like I was living a
- 1:42Speaker 2: peaceful life. My happiness was contingent on just myself and
- 1:48Speaker 2: my kids. I learned that I have very little patience.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I learned that I am very capable of loving extremely
- 1:58Speaker 2: hard and maybe too quickly, which is something that I
- 2:01Speaker 2: need to look into.
- 2:03Speaker 1: But I was like, I'm never doing this again, he goes.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Lauren, the last time you opened up to somebody it
- 2:10Speaker 2: was like four years ago. Do you realize that women
- 2:14Speaker 2: go out into the world and try to find their
- 2:17Speaker 2: person and actively date multiple times a week and get
- 2:20Speaker 2: these pits in their stomach. You've done it a couple
- 2:24Speaker 2: times in five years, and you're ready to call it
- 2:27Speaker 2: a day. I was like, you're right, I cannot be
- 2:29Speaker 2: wounded and scarred by this. I'm going to go and
- 2:32Speaker 2: have fun and move on, and we're not going to
- 2:35Speaker 2: let this just like completely shatter us. To the point
- 2:39Speaker 2: where the wall is built back up to the sky.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yes, but I don't know we're very the same because
- 2:46Speaker 1: I mean, well, it is easy to get back out there.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Like when girls like dating apps and stuff and they're like,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I've gone on three dates this week. I'm like, Jesus
- 2:53Speaker 1: Christ went on three days in about a year, right, Yeah,
- 2:58Speaker 1: But like maybe that's why they get over it a
- 3:00Speaker 1: little quicker than me. I sit, I grovel in my
- 3:03Speaker 1: sorrow well.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Because it's an intense feeling and I was told that,
- 3:09Speaker 2: which was a tough pill to swallow. I did not
- 3:11Speaker 2: love this at all. I was talking to a friend
- 3:16Speaker 2: and she was like, la, la, you you emotionally relapsed.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I was like, what do you mean?
- 3:22Speaker 2: She was like, love love will put it in air quotes,
- 3:27Speaker 2: because who the hell even knows what that means.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I don't.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I think I will know when it falls in my lap.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But she was like, love can become like a drug
- 3:39Speaker 2: and you can have withdrawals from it, and just like
- 3:43Speaker 2: the communication and the things that you get used to.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And so I've only listened to Cardi b the past
- 3:50Speaker 2: the best week. It's the only thing I can listen
- 3:53Speaker 2: to because she's just so spot on, she's so spot.
- 3:57Speaker 1: On you were, but I understand that it's a relapse
- 4:02Speaker 1: for sure. When she said that, I was like, oh
- 4:04Speaker 1: my gosh, because it also takes ninety days to break
- 4:09Speaker 1: a habit. Yeah, but I think it only takes like
- 4:11Speaker 1: thirty days to.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Build one bild one. Anyway, I feel great today. I
- 4:16Speaker 2: really feel like a fabulous human.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You woke up and I felt your energy. Was that
- 4:21Speaker 1: when you were getting ready to take your daughter to school? Yes,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you know what's weird the child.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I will go through these moments and I then hit
- 4:32Speaker 2: a point where it's like, no, we're done. We've given
- 4:34Speaker 2: it enough of our time. We have committed into routine. Yeah,
- 4:39Speaker 2: we've committed to the bit of sadness, and now fuck this.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You think I'm gonna let.
- 4:45Speaker 2: This this and dictate how I'm feeling going into my day?
- 4:51Speaker 1: What the fuck is that? Is that? Why so many
- 4:54Speaker 1: girls though and guys like after one like it's like, oh,
- 4:58Speaker 1: it's done. It's really you got a high back on
- 5:00Speaker 1: something to get over the other. Because now think you've
- 5:04Speaker 1: been just like sad for the past week, two weeks.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Most girls would have been like, fuck him, I'm going
- 5:12Speaker 1: on another date. And they would have gone on three
- 5:14Speaker 1: and this guy would have been in the past. I
- 5:17Speaker 1: don't move like that. No, don't either, I don't move
- 5:19Speaker 1: that way at all.
- 5:20Speaker 2: But over the weekend what did help me tremendously is
- 5:24Speaker 2: I got asked to speak at Girls Day LA, which
- 5:27Speaker 2: is just like a moment where girls who are just
- 5:32Speaker 2: needing to be uplifted and feel less alone can go.
- 5:36Speaker 2: They had like an area to get tattoos, there was jewelry,
- 5:38Speaker 2: there were just it was just a positive environment. It
- 5:41Speaker 2: was a woman who slid into my DM and she
- 5:44Speaker 2: was like, hey, I met you at the Magic show
- 5:48Speaker 2: that took place in Vegas, like in twenty eighteen, and
- 5:50Speaker 2: it was I remember it exactly and I was not sober.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So she asked me, can you speak this year? And
- 5:57Speaker 2: I was like, of course, that sounds amazing, and she
- 5:58Speaker 2: gave me like what the talking points would be, and
- 6:02Speaker 2: I just was like sitting in this room with all
- 6:06Speaker 2: of these women who were staring at me and looking
- 6:10Speaker 2: for the answers which none of us have, and it
- 6:14Speaker 2: was just such a crazy I at one point had
- 6:18Speaker 2: an out of body experience, which you guys know I
- 6:20Speaker 2: have a lot of those, but I'm talking, and I
- 6:23Speaker 2: see people writing things down and I see people like grabbing,
- 6:26Speaker 2: you know.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The person next to them.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And at the very end, she was like, what can
- 6:33Speaker 2: you say? That's you know, for someone who's for a
- 6:35Speaker 2: woman who's feeling lost or alone, And I just started sobbing.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I was like, I'm gonna be honest, I'm that girl
- 6:41Speaker 2: right now. I was like, I so needed this day
- 6:44Speaker 2: and I'm just grateful to be here. I feel very supported,
- 6:47Speaker 2: I feel, you know, not alone, And it could not
- 6:51Speaker 2: have been a more uplifting environment.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Now when your answer just to let you know was
- 6:56Speaker 1: beautiful because sometimes when well, when you're just like, I
- 6:59Speaker 1: don't know, I don't have answers. But like when you
- 7:01Speaker 1: if you were to be like, well you just got
- 7:03Speaker 1: to do you know, A B and C, and then
- 7:05Speaker 1: you leave and you listen and you're like, well am
- 7:07Speaker 1: I not doing A B and C? You were like
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't have the answers, and they leave going like
- 7:12Speaker 1: none of us do. I feel a bit better today
- 7:14Speaker 1: about not having answers.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I think the biggest thing is like in moments when
- 7:18Speaker 2: you're feeling you have just lost, and then the loneliness
- 7:23Speaker 2: on top of it, where you're like, I don't know
- 7:25Speaker 2: what I'm doing. I feel very much by myself, and
- 7:28Speaker 2: then you look at Instagram and everyone seems to be
- 7:30Speaker 2: happy and living their lives. It does make you feel
- 7:35Speaker 2: it's misery loves company and not saying that anybody in
- 7:39Speaker 2: that room was miserable. I'm not even saying that I
- 7:42Speaker 2: was miserable, but it was a situational We're looking for.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Something, yes, like trying to find something out of the
- 7:49Speaker 1: life that we're out. Yes, we're not miserable, but I'm
- 7:52Speaker 1: not going to say that I'm happy right that right
- 7:55Speaker 1: now is not fucking not good. It's yeah, it's not good.
- 7:59Speaker 1: That's how I was feeling.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And you know what, anytime I'm feeling that way, it's
- 8:04Speaker 2: so wild because I'll look at my calendar and I'm like, oh,
- 8:06Speaker 2: I have such a jam pack day and i just
- 8:08Speaker 2: want to like lay in my bed and i just
- 8:09Speaker 2: want to like feel sorry for myself, and then I
- 8:12Speaker 2: fucking go to these things.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm like I needed this so badly.
- 8:17Speaker 2: And then from there I went to a baseball GLASSA.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So it's GLASSA is the league that Easton plays in.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's an LGBTQ plus community that plays softball and Easton
- 8:37Speaker 2: is there token straight and they.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Put on a couple. We have a couple.
- 8:42Speaker 2: They had each team a part of GLASSA. I think
- 8:47Speaker 2: it was like two players for like drag drag team.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I guess I think it was each team had one participant.
- 8:58Speaker 1: We really had one other had too. I didn't know
- 9:01Speaker 1: the full.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I was a judge. Gigi Gorgeous was a judge. This
- 9:06Speaker 2: guy named Leo who was fucking amazing. Uh and he's
- 9:09Speaker 2: on the new season of Loot. He was fucking fantastic
- 9:12Speaker 2: and so funny. These I don't want to call them
- 9:15Speaker 2: amateurs because they were all fantastic. Competed to raise money
- 9:19Speaker 2: to go to the World Series, which is in what
- 9:21Speaker 2: where's the World's.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Columbus, Ohio? Which clear your schedule, bitch, We're headed there.
- 9:27Speaker 1: We want and I want you to talk about it.
- 9:31Speaker 2: But let me just say this drag show and judging,
- 9:34Speaker 2: it was the funnest time that I have had in
- 9:38Speaker 2: a very very long time.
- 9:41Speaker 1: My favorite gut gut Jason Jason on stage Jasmin Yes,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and I was kind of like, damn, I wish I
- 9:51Speaker 1: was up there with Jason.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Really hell okay, put it on a little show Jason
- 9:57Speaker 2: crushed it. It was so good. When I tell you
- 10:00Speaker 2: one of the players, one of the players, they had
- 10:07Speaker 2: on like jeweled tights and she fucking busted down low
- 10:12Speaker 2: like onto her knees. In the next round, she comes
- 10:15Speaker 2: in and the fabulous drag Queen who was on RuPaul
- 10:20Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, are your knees bleedy?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Were there?
- 10:24Speaker 2: Oh no, the jewels got and Leah was like, oh
- 10:28Speaker 2: oh not the call out, not the call out about
- 10:30Speaker 2: the bloody knees house. I I just thinking about it,
- 10:34Speaker 2: you guys. That night revived my soul.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Moving on.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So Easton is a part of glasse and he's on
- 10:42Speaker 2: the Swingers team. Easton tell us about your what you did?
- 10:47Speaker 2: So we punched our ticket with two w's on Sunday.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And also, I didn't know how crazy this league was, man,
- 10:58Speaker 2: So I wasn't there because I was in Coachella.
- 11:00Speaker 1: But we played and we lost. But they look into
- 11:06Speaker 1: each individual player and you are by points is how
- 11:11Speaker 1: they kind of grade you. So if you have ten points,
- 11:15Speaker 1: you're like in the D League, then ten to fifteen
- 11:18Speaker 1: you're in a C league. And I'm just throwing out
- 11:20Speaker 1: the point thing. I don't know it, but like, if
- 11:22Speaker 1: you have too many, you have to go up these people.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I guess the the guys on the other team were
- 11:27Speaker 1: hitting it far, way too far. So we had a
- 11:31Speaker 1: we put in a protest. Okay, so see, you guys
- 11:35Speaker 1: are the rats, the lets the league.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Baby, yeah, don't let them get us. We need that,
- 11:41Speaker 3: we need it. So we put in a protest. Joe Schmeltzer,
- 11:47Speaker 3: our dear friend. He had to get on like a FaceTime.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I had no idea. There's like twenty people involved in
- 11:52Speaker 1: They're like, okay, well how far did the ball hit?
- 11:55Speaker 1: They go into it. Well, we won the protest. Two
- 11:59Speaker 1: of their players. I had to go up a game.
- 12:02Speaker 1: So what that does to our loss because we protested
- 12:05Speaker 1: it is they have to forfeit. Okay, so we want
- 12:09Speaker 1: off of a rat Seattle, Washington. So that's just that's
- 12:14Speaker 1: just attorney tourney. We want to go for that, just
- 12:17Speaker 1: so you know, we got to get those tournaments and
- 12:19Speaker 1: so we can be prepared for the World Series. Is
- 12:23Speaker 1: end of October, end of November. Oh, this is so exciting.
- 12:27Speaker 1: You know what. I don't even care that you had
- 12:29Speaker 1: to write them out. No, I don't either team.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Well, now in the instagram section. Everyone's saying, I know.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Well, just one team. I think all the other teams
- 12:43Speaker 1: are kind of like silently rooting for us.
- 12:47Speaker 2: The whole time. And you know what, you stood up
- 12:49Speaker 2: for what was right, So you know what, I'm.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Thrilled about us. I agree. What was the other team called?
- 12:55Speaker 1: I don't want to give them credit? No, I want
- 12:57Speaker 1: to roughnecks boy, and their rough aren't they rough nights?
- 13:04Speaker 1: They're trying to like, I enjoy them all. They're all
- 13:07Speaker 1: great teams.
- 13:08Speaker 2: But on this in this league, everyone I talk to
- 13:13Speaker 2: who's a part of the queer community is like, that
- 13:15Speaker 2: is so incredible that your brother is like, I'm like, hey, allies.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I walked to the plate most of the time. I go, hey, babies,
- 13:26Speaker 1: just the catcher and every all of them will go
- 13:31Speaker 1: you're the straight one, right, yeah, wet'll see how I go.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You judged me off the swing? Yeah, oh, as they
- 13:38Speaker 1: usually do. Yeah, I know so, but no, we have fun.
- 13:41Speaker 1: It's so fun. It is the best pone of the
- 13:43Speaker 1: world series. I'm so proud of you. If anybody would
- 13:46Speaker 1: like to attend, you know, come and support the Swingers,
- 13:49Speaker 1: we'll post it. Columbus, Ohio, let's fucking go baby, I need,
- 13:53Speaker 1: I need, I need a sure, Yeah, let's go.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I'm serious, all right, I'm making some merch too.
- 13:59Speaker 1: You recorded songs this weekend?
- 14:01Speaker 2: How that go?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Songs? Good? I think I've told you guys, we didn't
- 14:06Speaker 1: own the licensing rights. We do now, that's amazing. I'm
- 14:09Speaker 1: so proud of it. So I've been sitting on I
- 14:12Speaker 1: mean listening to the song. I mean, I'm popping pills,
- 14:14Speaker 1: doing a whole bunch of shit. I wrote this thing
- 14:17Speaker 1: three years ago I first moved out here and that,
- 14:21Speaker 1: and it's about dad. So I was like, listening to it,
- 14:23Speaker 1: is it the one? That? Is it? That one just
- 14:25Speaker 1: me and Siko? Yeah?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's a good one, but I don't think
- 14:32Speaker 2: I could listen to it today.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It's a good one, but listening back, I'm like, wow,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I was in a terrible place. But yeah, but what
- 14:38Speaker 1: a reminder. I was like, wow, to think about how
- 14:41Speaker 1: far are you? I like creating it. And then I
- 14:43Speaker 1: have the other song about my ex girlfriend that I
- 14:45Speaker 1: started writing a long time ago, that we got out.
- 14:47Speaker 1: We shortened it up and just like got it out.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I want you to listen to it. We want you
- 14:50Speaker 1: on it. Though. Oh my favorite one. So we have
- 14:54Speaker 1: two songs. I'm gonna start releasing. Judge me if you want.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Honestly, I just want to do it to have like
- 14:58Speaker 2: a creative outlet. Just want to like go and feel something.
- 15:03Speaker 1: And they were like, so are you going to have
- 15:04Speaker 1: like a release party. I was like, no, it's going
- 15:06Speaker 1: to release it and if people like it, they like it,
- 15:08Speaker 1: and if they don't actually move on, you don't. Just
- 15:11Speaker 1: I'm not your cup of tea. Yeah, got to drink me.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I love that the Kentucky Derby was this weekend, and
- 15:17Speaker 2: asking why I didn't go with Brittany. You guys, you
- 15:20Speaker 2: know I don't support the Kentucky Derby.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That is true. I didn't watch.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I don't.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Can I be honest? You know that the girl won
- 15:30Speaker 1: the first ever shy so I it's very hard because
- 15:35Speaker 1: it looks like cruel when you're hitting these horses. It
- 15:39Speaker 1: is cruel. It doesn't look cruel. They are pampered beyond
- 15:44Speaker 1: that's not entirely true. They're like million dollar horses. They're
- 15:49Speaker 1: getting like massages. They're like they are craner every day,
- 15:53Speaker 1: like they are every day they're making sure that they
- 15:55Speaker 1: have no like bone spurs.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're being whipped to run as fast as
- 16:00Speaker 2: they possibly. I don't support it, and you will not
- 16:03Speaker 2: catch me at the Kentucky Ary.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Well, but I know Brittany had a good time.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You won't catch me watching, you know, I being there
- 16:13Speaker 2: none of the things.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I like that for you. I will watch it here
- 16:17Speaker 1: and there. I'm on your side. Though.
- 16:20Speaker 2: This one was fucking crazy that I saw West Wilson's
- 16:24Speaker 2: first cousin is accused of murdering their grandma.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I mean, you know how fucking wild that is? Isn't this?
- 16:31Speaker 2: And it was I believe like the day before he
- 16:36Speaker 2: had to film the Summerhouse Reunion, the call was made
- 16:40Speaker 2: that a woman had been shot.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And this was in I believe, Missouri. Before I go on.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Though, before I go on, how wild that this Scamanda
- 16:51Speaker 2: is taking place season ten? The scandal on vanderbumb Rules
- 16:55Speaker 2: took place season ten.
- 16:56Speaker 1: We're in a simulation. We're living in the fucking trumanshell.
- 17:00Speaker 1: You're like, how is it so similar? And also the
- 17:03Speaker 1: same season? No, do you really think that? Do you
- 17:08Speaker 1: want to know what's crazy? Tell me in my notes,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I said that my ache of the week is That's
- 17:12Speaker 1: how I've been feeling that you want to be a
- 17:14Speaker 1: part of a scandal. No, I feel like we're living
- 17:17Speaker 1: in a Truman show and just none of us are
- 17:18Speaker 1: aware such a couple of us. They're like, would you
- 17:21Speaker 1: give us your ache? Already? I didn't know if it
- 17:23Speaker 1: was going to be the ache.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Well, and now you've decided. So this is what happened.
- 17:28Speaker 2: The Summerhouse Reunion is being filmed and West is set
- 17:32Speaker 2: to go. The call comes in and the Hollywood reporter
- 17:36Speaker 2: put the law enforcement officials in Carroll County, Missouri, responded
- 17:40Speaker 2: to reports of a shooting at a home on April
- 17:43Speaker 2: twenty second. When they got there, there was a seventy
- 17:46Speaker 2: five year old woman who was deceased inside. He was
- 17:50Speaker 2: identified as the suspect and the grandpa. You guys said
- 17:55Speaker 2: that he was sitting on the couch and they have
- 17:58Speaker 2: it as victim number one. And so Grandma and Dakota
- 18:03Speaker 2: were sitting on the couch. Grandma was getting on to
- 18:06Speaker 2: him about not keeping up on like chores around their house,
- 18:10Speaker 2: keeping up on chores around the house, like basically get
- 18:13Speaker 2: your ass up and you know, help around here. This
- 18:18Speaker 2: was like thirty minutes that they were chilling on the
- 18:20Speaker 2: couch and then the grandpa says that he just like
- 18:26Speaker 2: fucking shot her in the head. Can you believe that?
- 18:30Speaker 2: No either, and I can't even they did find a
- 18:34Speaker 2: holster in the house too. I'm just like, how do
- 18:38Speaker 2: you wrap your mind around like you're going into a
- 18:41Speaker 2: reunion you're a part of, like this giant scandal that
- 18:43Speaker 2: even Rihanna has like participated in, uh deciding she doesn't
- 18:47Speaker 2: fuck with you guys anymore. Thought in itself is a lot,
- 18:50Speaker 2: and then you find out that your grandma was shot
- 18:56Speaker 2: by your cousin. Simone Biles says that she is staying
- 19:12Speaker 2: in after it's between twenty I've seen twenty two and
- 19:16Speaker 2: twenty six thousand for her bill for going to a
- 19:21Speaker 2: red carpet and getting like all glammed up and fabulous
- 19:23Speaker 2: between like the stylist and all of the things. And
- 19:26Speaker 2: you know what, it was so refreshing to hear someone
- 19:30Speaker 2: like Simone Biles say that because I have, in no way,
- 19:34Speaker 2: shape or form ever spent twenty two to twenty six
- 19:38Speaker 2: thousand dollars on getting ready for an event. Okay, and
- 19:41Speaker 2: you have to remember, styling is like a whole different beast.
- 19:46Speaker 2: You hire them, they bring you a bunch of clothes,
- 19:48Speaker 2: you pick them, you try them on, you like you wear,
- 19:52Speaker 2: you give back, So you're spending thousands of dollars on
- 19:55Speaker 2: things you return.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I think the most.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I've spent on a stylus was like sixty f five hundred,
- 20:01Speaker 2: and it was I believe it was multiple looks, but
- 20:08Speaker 2: I just find it like I would. I would rather
- 20:11Speaker 2: go to Rodeo Driver. Actually, my most favorite. If I'm
- 20:16Speaker 2: in Palm Springs, the cab is on outlets who have
- 20:19Speaker 2: literally every designer that you could possibly want under the sun.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Still expensive, but at least if I'm dropping thousands of dollars,
- 20:26Speaker 2: I get to keep it in my closet and if
- 20:29Speaker 2: I want to wear it again, because I love to recycle.
- 20:31Speaker 2: It's my most favorite thing, wear it again. Like I
- 20:34Speaker 2: can't even imagine, like the pit that you would have
- 20:37Speaker 2: and the glam and the hair that you just like
- 20:39Speaker 2: come home and wash off and then send the outfit
- 20:42Speaker 2: back and all I have is like a good photo.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Guess what I might do. Tell me it's called wild West,
- 20:48Speaker 1: and it's like three hundred bucks a month, okay, And
- 20:52Speaker 1: they just have like a clothing outlet and you go
- 20:55Speaker 1: in and you pick and you can have up to
- 20:57Speaker 1: I think it's like thirty five hundred dollars of clothing
- 21:00Speaker 1: at a time, and then you return it and then
- 21:02Speaker 1: you can get more. And there was a month it's unlimited,
- 21:06Speaker 1: unlimited three hundred a month, so three hundred bucks a month.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I get a gym membership, We'll just say, but a
- 21:11Speaker 1: membership to go in. Now I can go in because
- 21:14Speaker 1: I pay the monthly. Now I have three thousand dollars
- 21:16Speaker 1: that I can put on credit to take and where,
- 21:19Speaker 1: and then I bring it back and then they take
- 21:22Speaker 1: it off and then I can go get three thousand
- 21:23Speaker 1: dollars worth of clothing gain or one hundred. I could
- 21:26Speaker 1: just go get a shirt or two. But yeah, and
- 21:29Speaker 1: that it was at Coachella. The girl that was running it,
- 21:31Speaker 1: she was like, you should come in. I think you'd
- 21:32Speaker 1: like it. So I'm going to schedule a little walk
- 21:35Speaker 1: through me and Calvino. Yeah you show show so yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 1: wild West.
- 21:40Speaker 2: The other thing that I want to talk about is
- 21:42Speaker 2: how crazy it is that I was watching the Beverly
- 21:46Speaker 2: Hills Reunion the second episode.
- 21:50Speaker 1: It has been so good, but.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I was so surprised to hear that the Potomac Housewives
- 21:57Speaker 2: had filmed with Mauricio and I've believe Chemo sabby and
- 22:01Speaker 2: that a lot of them were like gassing him up
- 22:04Speaker 2: and like flirting with him and talking about how sexy
- 22:07Speaker 2: he is, and then Kyle receiving uh, like I'm sorries,
- 22:14Speaker 2: like I that was not cool and Kyle's absolutely right,
- 22:19Speaker 2: and maybe I'm up in the night with this, but
- 22:20Speaker 2: I do feel like within our little Bravo community, it
- 22:26Speaker 2: is like and especially with the Housewives, there's some there's
- 22:30Speaker 2: some sort of unspoken sisterhood where.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You just don't date within the crew.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Right, even if you're not on the same show, you
- 22:42Speaker 2: just don't do it. And as Kyle is talking about
- 22:48Speaker 2: like if she wants Mo back, or like why they
- 22:50Speaker 2: haven't filed for divorce, she's saying that it's not that
- 22:54Speaker 2: she's waiting for him to come back, but it's more
- 22:57Speaker 2: of just like a timing thing, like she's gonna know
- 23:00Speaker 2: when it feels right. But her eyes said something different
- 23:03Speaker 2: to me. And when they replayed her talking about how
- 23:09Speaker 2: if they would have chosen the other life right where
- 23:12Speaker 2: he didn't have two Nickels to his name, but we
- 23:14Speaker 2: thought about moving to Colorado, he would be a ski instructor,
- 23:18Speaker 2: and had we chosen that path, I think we would
- 23:21Speaker 2: still be together. And how did we let something so
- 23:24Speaker 2: beautiful slip away?
- 23:28Speaker 3: I just.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Men and women think so freaking differently, because Kyle's talking
- 23:35Speaker 2: about how you know, she's holding on to like the
- 23:38Speaker 2: memories and she thought that going to her daughter's weddings
- 23:42Speaker 2: or you know, graduations, that she would be with the
- 23:44Speaker 2: father of her child.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Then she shows up to a holiday party and her.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Not husband slash husband is like very much living a
- 23:55Speaker 2: single life and feeling okay about it. And I I
- 24:00Speaker 2: just can't help but think, like, are we supposed to
- 24:06Speaker 2: like be together.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Men and women? But I don't know anymore?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Like what is the point you have your kids, you
- 24:16Speaker 2: build a life, and then you know you run the
- 24:18Speaker 2: risk of in thirty years where you have literally every
- 24:23Speaker 2: single memory of your adult life and becoming a mother.
- 24:29Speaker 2: How in the world does one party Usually the woman
- 24:35Speaker 2: move on from that without holding on extremely tight, where
- 24:39Speaker 2: the man can go out and just like find women
- 24:43Speaker 2: in their twenties and totally be okay and not even
- 24:45Speaker 2: think about the memories.
- 24:46Speaker 1: It's just.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Really really hard to wrap my mind around and reconcile
- 24:53Speaker 2: it because I think about this like brief interaction that
- 24:57Speaker 2: I had with someone, and I'm like, I can't imagine
- 25:00Speaker 2: having thirty years with somebody and it coming to a close.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I'm like wrapped up in my own head. Kyle is
- 25:09Speaker 2: a strong woman, strong strong woman, and I don't even
- 25:13Speaker 2: know if I should be sharing this. It happened so
- 25:16Speaker 2: long ago. I have to say. When I was doing
- 25:19Speaker 2: the podcast with Easton and my old assistant Jessica, I
- 25:24Speaker 2: got the weirdest DM. And I was talking about Kyle
- 25:28Speaker 2: and Moe at this time, and this was like at
- 25:30Speaker 2: the height of them not really knowing what they were doing.
- 25:34Speaker 2: But I got a DM from him saying something along
- 25:36Speaker 2: the lines of, you know, I talk about him on
- 25:39Speaker 2: my podcast and he would like to grab a coffee
- 25:43Speaker 2: and I just never opened it or responded, I like, what,
- 25:51Speaker 2: there's not a chance, and maybe trying to convince me that,
- 25:55Speaker 2: like what I was saying. I don't even know what
- 25:56Speaker 2: I was saying on the podcast about him at that time.
- 26:00Speaker 2: He's trying to do control damage. It could have been
- 26:02Speaker 2: control damage. I don't really know the point. But I'm
- 26:04Speaker 2: certainly not going to be caught out having coffee with you.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I want to know that's not gonna happen. What a
- 26:11Speaker 1: good look.
- 26:13Speaker 2: No, I just beyond the look. It's like, just no,
- 26:18Speaker 2: we don't need to talk about one. There's so many
- 26:21Speaker 2: other podcasts that are talking about this exact same thing.
- 26:23Speaker 1: What you want to hear about? How about we all
- 26:24Speaker 1: we'll all grab a coffee and you can try to
- 26:26Speaker 1: win us all over, because it's not going to look
- 26:29Speaker 1: good for you.
- 26:30Speaker 2: No, well, certainly not a one on one if you're
- 26:33Speaker 2: upset about the podcast. There's many a podcast that are
- 26:36Speaker 2: a talking So we're gonna need to make this a
- 26:39Speaker 2: group meeting.
- 26:40Speaker 1: He's trying to put out like one little fire when
- 26:42Speaker 1: the whole mountain's flaming. It's like, buddy, just good luck.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Speaking of fires. So I was seeing that a lot
- 27:05Speaker 2: of people were talking. Now that it's been it's been
- 27:09Speaker 2: over a year since since the La fires that destroyed
- 27:13Speaker 2: like thousands upon thousands of acres, destroyed homes, people are
- 27:17Speaker 2: struggling to get their homes rebuilt. But there was this
- 27:20Speaker 2: ad on TV that talks about these fires. And if
- 27:23Speaker 2: you put in this these sprinkler systems where they go
- 27:28Speaker 2: off inside of the house, they're basically yes, they're basically
- 27:31Speaker 2: like a built in fire department where they're just like
- 27:34Speaker 2: the house.
- 27:35Speaker 1: So your house is soaking wet while flames are around it.
- 27:39Speaker 2: And Easton said that he was in an uber the
- 27:41Speaker 2: other day because I was like, oh my gosh, what
- 27:43Speaker 2: a smart idea. I'd never heard of this, and apparently
- 27:45Speaker 2: it's been around for a long time, these sprinklers, but
- 27:47Speaker 2: now there since the fires last year, it's like.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, everyone think.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Yes, everyone's thinking this is what we're getting for our
- 27:55Speaker 2: new build.
- 27:55Speaker 1: So tell me what the uber driver says. So we
- 27:57Speaker 1: were just talking and it just got brought up and
- 27:59Speaker 1: he was like, yeah, I lost my house in the
- 28:01Speaker 1: eaten fires. I was like, oh, did it burn down?
- 28:03Speaker 1: And he goes, oh no, funny enough, I had the
- 28:07Speaker 1: indoor sprinklers and it saved it. And I go, oh,
- 28:11Speaker 1: so you're good, and he goes, well, no, he goes,
- 28:14Speaker 1: it's a twenty two. You're in a rock. He goes,
- 28:17Speaker 1: either your house burns down or it's saved by the sprinklers,
- 28:22Speaker 1: and now you're just living in black, mold and ash.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And he was like, because things, it gets so hot
- 28:27Speaker 1: that the windows explode, so now everything's coming inside just
- 28:31Speaker 1: getting wet. And he was like, like four feet up
- 28:34Speaker 1: the wall, it's just like blasgusting, black, wet, moldy. And
- 28:39Speaker 1: he goes, so and now I'm pissed off because he goes,
- 28:44Speaker 1: I'd rather have burnt down. Now I have to He
- 28:47Speaker 1: can't even go to the property yet because they haven't.
- 28:50Speaker 2: So it either gets burned down or he has to
- 28:53Speaker 2: demolish his home. Yeah, but he was telling me, he
- 28:55Speaker 2: was like, if it burns down, it burns down. Now
- 28:57Speaker 2: you just clean the rubble. He goes, Now my house
- 28:59Speaker 2: is standing, not livable, So now I have to pay
- 29:03Speaker 2: to have people demolish it. So now he is in
- 29:07Speaker 2: hasn't received any money from a lot of people, even
- 29:11Speaker 2: people who lost their homes to the fire don't.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but like that was his biggest thing, and he
- 29:17Speaker 1: was just kind of laughing about it. He was like
- 29:19Speaker 1: I have to laugh at this point. He was like,
- 29:21Speaker 1: so put him in, get mulled, don't have it burned.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I actually have to vote today, and I'm not no,
- 29:30Speaker 1: but I have heard that Spencer Pratt has a pretty
- 29:33Speaker 1: good chance of winning this shit. I think I think
- 29:38Speaker 1: his advertisements and things have been really well. I feel
- 29:40Speaker 1: like he's boots on the ground. He's with the people
- 29:43Speaker 1: he's going and he lives in his trailer, on his
- 29:46Speaker 1: burnt down like he's When people look at Spencer, You're like,
- 29:49Speaker 1: all right, I can relate with this guy. He's living
- 29:52Speaker 1: like we do. He has a voice and is kind
- 29:54Speaker 1: of fighting for what we see.
- 29:56Speaker 2: So many people are like, but he was in Reality
- 29:59Speaker 2: to TV And I'm looking at and I'm like, so
- 30:02Speaker 2: was Erica Kirk?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Was she? Yeah? She was on Summerhouse. She was a
- 30:06Speaker 1: friend of beforehand Donald exactly. So yeah, the wild wild
- 30:14Speaker 1: West out here.
- 30:15Speaker 2: People can change, is all I know is during those fires,
- 30:18Speaker 2: someone dropped the ball. Yeah yeah, yeah, one of the
- 30:23Speaker 2: empty change needs to happen. The last thing I'm going
- 30:26Speaker 2: to talk about before we jump into the ache and
- 30:28Speaker 2: relief of the week, because I could not believe my
- 30:30Speaker 2: eyes when I saw this, that Sydney Sweeney.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You can just keep that. That's my ache of the week.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Freaking when did a hard launch?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Was Scooter Braun, Scooter Roun who did so many people
- 30:43Speaker 2: in the music industry, the most notable many Swift, Swift.
- 30:51Speaker 1: One hundred million. It's like, yeah, off of other people's
- 30:54Speaker 1: hard work, he did nothing cares who cares if he Hey,
- 31:01Speaker 1: people can change. Hopefully he's changed whatever. I don't know.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I'm not making any judgments. Yeah, we all have our
- 31:10Speaker 1: thoughts of this. The way that I love to ignore,
- 31:12Speaker 1: right flag.
- 31:14Speaker 2: I mean here is the heart wants what it wants, okay,
- 31:19Speaker 2: And when you're in it, behind closed doors and you're
- 31:22Speaker 2: making memories, it is very easy to fall into this
- 31:26Speaker 2: place of like, I don't see anything beyond what's right
- 31:30Speaker 2: in front of me.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I just could never be with somebody knowing that that
- 31:34Speaker 1: person did so many people dirty. He told her. You
- 31:37Speaker 1: don't know what he's told her.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah, a bunch of fucking lies. Yeah, we can see that.
- 31:42Speaker 2: But again, when you're in it, when you're yeah, your
- 31:44Speaker 2: heart is like in it, yes, like in it, dude.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Like the amount of times that my mind and my
- 31:50Speaker 2: gut are like, get rid of this person, get rid
- 31:53Speaker 2: of them. This is not good for you. And I've
- 31:55Speaker 2: always said them, and then my and then my freaking
- 31:58Speaker 2: heart is like no, no, oh, we can't let go.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I samh chakras aligned that's what it is.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I'm doing that this week. I'm putting it into my notes.
- 32:09Speaker 1: You got to get your seven chakras alone. Oh my god, Easton,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I work on mine. You're onto something. Kevin Gates told me,
- 32:16Speaker 1: Baby Diddy, what do he say? You got seven chakras,
- 32:19Speaker 1: you got to get them all aligned. And if you
- 32:20Speaker 1: can get that, there's a lot of things you can
- 32:22Speaker 1: pray and meditate, breathing exercises, there's a lot of things
- 32:25Speaker 1: to get your body, your mind.
- 32:27Speaker 2: I will never allow what happened, yeah, this, however many
- 32:32Speaker 2: months that it was to ever happen again. And I
- 32:36Speaker 2: hate that. I'm thirty five and still trying to learn this.
- 32:41Speaker 2: But that is why I cannot wait to go. I
- 32:45Speaker 2: meaning I can wait, but I cannot wait to fall
- 32:50Speaker 2: into putting myself out there, because then what happens is
- 32:54Speaker 2: I become comfortable alone. I think that I have it
- 32:56Speaker 2: all figured out, and then you know, what it reminds
- 32:58Speaker 2: me of is when people talk about going to rehab
- 33:02Speaker 2: and they're thriving in their sobriety, and then they re
- 33:04Speaker 2: enter the real world and it's like, oh, this is
- 33:06Speaker 2: very different than I thought. What happens is I become
- 33:09Speaker 2: so comfortable and peaceful by myself, and I think I
- 33:12Speaker 2: have it all figured out, and I'm like, now, I'm
- 33:13Speaker 2: ready to date, and I go into it and it
- 33:16Speaker 2: is so disorienting.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's scary when the tires hit the road.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Let's talk about our ache and relief. My ache of
- 33:24Speaker 2: the week. Sosa is a crier, a whiner. You tell
- 33:28Speaker 2: her no, she starts sobbing. She doesn't want to go
- 33:30Speaker 2: to bed at night. She clings to me like a koala,
- 33:32Speaker 2: which is great.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I love that.
- 33:34Speaker 2: But when it's time for bed and she's screaming bloody
- 33:36Speaker 2: murder and crying mama, and it's nine o'clock at night,
- 33:39Speaker 2: which is way past bedtime. It was a lot. It's
- 33:42Speaker 2: turned into a lot. She's going through a weird phase.
- 33:45Speaker 2: My relief is that it's Mother's Day. We're going to
- 33:49Speaker 2: a comedy show. I don't know how the jij is
- 33:51Speaker 2: gonna feel with the hip she may or may not
- 33:53Speaker 2: make it. And then we're having a group of mamas
- 33:58Speaker 2: go out on Sunday and just have fun with the kids.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I'm thinking a little Benny Hannah from what Janet said,
- 34:03Speaker 2: because that's hell of fun for the kids, you know,
- 34:07Speaker 2: so fucking fun. And I'm also getting my jaw injected today.
- 34:11Speaker 2: And if doctor Jamon says to me la la. This
- 34:14Speaker 2: is called age and we're gonna need to like take
- 34:16Speaker 2: some skin from here, see.
- 34:18Speaker 1: And pin it. I just need to shave back like that.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Sign me up, guys, everybody make a big deal.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Gig said to me, Gigi gorgeous, because I was telling
- 34:30Speaker 2: her about this at Craig's after the drag show and
- 34:33Speaker 2: she was like, oh no, honey, don't do a filler.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Just do a quick nip and a tuck. Call it
- 34:37Speaker 2: a day. You'll get that nice l shape. You're gonna
- 34:39Speaker 2: love it. I was like, you know what, that's the
- 34:40Speaker 2: energy I need. That's the energy I want. Nothing wrong
- 34:45Speaker 2: with a little Everybody help us over here, all right,
- 34:47Speaker 2: what you're ache and relieve and let's.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Wrap it up, guys. My ache has been Bernice. What's wrong?
- 34:53Speaker 1: Her little artis Oh so her aches are your aches? Yeah,
- 34:58Speaker 1: her ache ache of the week. So trying to gets
- 35:03Speaker 1: that's what I'm thinking. So we're taking her in. We've
- 35:05Speaker 1: been giving her some like some powder. I don't know.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Lisa knows all the goodies about it. She gets it.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I just feed them. But it's for joint pain. Yeah
- 35:14Speaker 1: it's joint pain. But yeah, that's my ache. My poor
- 35:17Speaker 1: little baby, and then my relief honestly, honestly, what is
- 35:24Speaker 1: that this is the last week of like Lisa being immobile?
- 35:32Speaker 1: I love that too, That's a great one. My relief
- 35:35Speaker 1: of the week is the hospital house is almost coming
- 35:39Speaker 1: to an end. Relief relief. What is that that the
- 35:44Speaker 1: kids do or whatever? Oh? I don't like that at all.
- 35:48Speaker 2: All right, thank you guys for listening to another episode
- 35:51Speaker 2: of Untraditionally La La. Remember a bonus comes out on Monday,
- 35:55Speaker 2: a regular old episode again on Wednesday.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Don't forget.
- 35:59Speaker 2: An Unlikely with myself and Amber Shoulders comes out every
- 36:02Speaker 2: Thursday night at nine pm.
- 36:04Speaker 1: You can catch it then or Friday morning.
- 36:06Speaker 2: We will catch you, lay you bye bye
