- 0:04Speaker 1: And now, the mob guys crake for your nieces.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Do you want to do it? Do you want.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Me to do it or do you want to do it?
- 0:44Speaker 4: I'll do it.
- 0:44Speaker 5: Okay.
- 0:45Speaker 6: This is the Mob Guys on KSCV Radio. I am
- 0:48Speaker 6: Craig Colonese. He is Wayne Dolcefino. Sounds so good when
- 0:53Speaker 6: the guy does his voice, his name. We are here
- 0:56Speaker 6: for the next two hours, Monday through Friday, 7 to
- 0:58Speaker 6: 9 o'clock.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Wayne, how are you doing today, buddy?
- 1:01Speaker 7: Happy Monday morning.
- 1:02Speaker 8: I was in the urgent care last night because my
- 1:07Speaker 8: diabetes monitor was saying I was dying. And I went
- 1:11Speaker 8: there and I spent a lovely couple of hours there
- 1:16Speaker 8: last night.
- 1:18Speaker 7: It was great. Great end of the weekend.
- 1:21Speaker 5: How does that?
- 1:22Speaker 6: Feel when your diabetes monitor says you're dying, but apparently
- 1:25Speaker 6: you're not dying?
- 1:26Speaker 8: Well, so what happened is it was telling me that
- 1:29Speaker 8: I was like dying. And so I ate Vietnamese food.
- 1:33Speaker 8: Then I had a black cherry soda. I had some chocolate.
- 1:38Speaker 8: And then by the time I got to the ER,
- 1:41Speaker 8: the first thing I did was, you know, prick my
- 1:43Speaker 8: finger and discovered that my blood sugar was not 40.
- 1:49Speaker 7: It was actually like 300 and something.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Gotcha.
- 1:52Speaker 7: Because I had eaten all that crap.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:55Speaker 7: But, no, I'm fine. Good. Good. I had a beautiful
- 2:00Speaker 7: weekend with my grandkids.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Nice.
- 2:02Speaker 7: They're very nice people. Liked them a lot.
- 2:06Speaker 5: In Austin?
- 2:07Speaker 9: Is that?
- 2:08Speaker 7: In Austin.
- 2:09Speaker 10: Nice.
- 2:09Speaker 8: Played with my grandkids and went swimming and cooked out
- 2:14Speaker 8: and did stuff. And, by the way, have you got,
- 2:18Speaker 8: we want a sports update first from me?
- 2:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 6: If you want to do a sports, I was just
- 2:22Speaker 6: going to say we will be in Austin on Friday.
- 2:24Speaker 6: We are doing a live radio show at Texas Faith
- 2:26Speaker 6: Fest there from 7 to 9 o'clock. Brandon Gill is
- 2:30Speaker 6: the big speaker, and I think we have him as
- 2:32Speaker 6: one of our guests for that show, and we're working
- 2:34Speaker 6: on some other ones, but just figured I'd promote that
- 2:36Speaker 6: for Friday.
- 2:37Speaker 7: Are there any Italian-Americans.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Going to be speaking?
- 2:42Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 2:42Speaker 5: That's a great question.
- 2:43Speaker 6: I did not ask him that specifically, but I'm going
- 2:45Speaker 6: to shoot over a request and say, please jump Italian-Americans
- 2:49Speaker 6: to the top of our request list.
- 2:51Speaker 8: Yeah, look, I really think we should have a serious
- 2:54Speaker 8: debate in this country about giving us something.
- 2:57Speaker 7: Yes.
- 2:58Speaker 10: Right?
- 2:58Speaker 7: Because everybody else wants something.
- 3:00Speaker 8: I continue to be very depressed when I watch the news.
- 3:06Speaker 8: The good news is that I won't have to hear
- 3:09Speaker 8: CNN in the White House today. Caitlin Collins won't be
- 3:12Speaker 8: able to ask any questions.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Yeah, that's fantastic.
- 3:15Speaker 10: Yes.
- 3:16Speaker 7: Because you think that's fantastic.
- 3:18Speaker 5: That she can't ask any questions? I do, kind of.
- 3:22Speaker 6: The reason I think it's fantastic, I'll explain it, is
- 3:24Speaker 6: because Biden and Obama kicked Fox News out all the time,
- 3:29Speaker 6: especially Obama. He revoked press clearances for Fox News constantly.
- 3:34Speaker 6: So when people are saying this has never been seen before,
- 3:37Speaker 6: it's never been done before, yeah, it has.
- 3:40Speaker 5: And it's been done the other way.
- 3:41Speaker 6: So even though I would rather have the CNN people
- 3:45Speaker 6: there so that they can yell their stupid questions and
- 3:47Speaker 6: we can answer them because conservatives.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Never really shy away from that.
- 3:51Speaker 6: It's not like this is a precedent that's been destroyed
- 3:54Speaker 6: by Trump that wasn't also ruined by other people.
- 3:58Speaker 7: You know what?
- 4:00Speaker 8: Look, I get it, and I don't really compare it
- 4:05Speaker 8: to Biden because I think he was just a freak show.
- 4:08Speaker 7: A shell. Yeah, he was a shell.
- 4:12Speaker 8: But I just don't really understand the distraction game right
- 4:18Speaker 8: now because I'm, I'm not sure the distraction game is
- 4:23Speaker 8: going to be what works that I think you, if you,
- 4:28Speaker 8: and I've said this for months and obviously.
- 4:30Speaker 7: No one's listening to me other.
- 4:33Speaker 8: Than you, but I don't understand why the Republicans just
- 4:39Speaker 8: can't stay on message. And, And I and I don't understand. Look,
- 4:46Speaker 8: I do think there's an exhaustion to a certain degree.
- 4:49Speaker 7: Yes. About this craziness.
- 4:52Speaker 8: And I just don't know that it helps people feel
- 4:56Speaker 8: like the ship is under control.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I think that's true. I think when you're talking about
- 5:02Speaker 5: like a political strategy standpoint.
- 5:04Speaker 7: Sure.
- 5:05Speaker 6: I think that it does seem like any sort of.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Any sort of crazy right now gets over-attributed to one side.
- 5:12Speaker 6: But again, Obama kicked Fox News out of his White
- 5:15Speaker 6: House press briefings constantly.
- 5:17Speaker 5: So it's not– this is not unprecedented.
- 5:20Speaker 8: Well, you obviously have a long memory about that, and
- 5:22Speaker 8: you're bitter about that. But why do we really give
- 5:27Speaker 8: a crap that MS now says horrible things about the president?
- 5:32Speaker 5: We don't.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Because we know what they are.
- 5:36Speaker 8: People– I always say sometimes that some people are too
- 5:40Speaker 8: stupid to vote. I think we should have some sort
- 5:43Speaker 8: of literacy test to make sure you can answer basic
- 5:47Speaker 8: civics questions. Before you actually start marking the names, you
- 5:50Speaker 8: should have to make it five questions.
- 5:53Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 5:54Speaker 8: But something to demonstrate that you have the mental capacity
- 5:59Speaker 8: to do it. But having said that, people don't trust
- 6:05Speaker 8: the media anymore.
- 6:07Speaker 7: They don't.
- 6:08Speaker 8: And as a member of the media, even though I'm
- 6:11Speaker 8: like a hired gun apparently.
- 6:13Speaker 7: As a member of the media, I sort of get it.
- 6:18Speaker 8: And I'll talk about something real quick locally. When Sylvester
- 6:24Speaker 8: Turner was mayor, my buddy Sylvester Turner, may he rest
- 6:28Speaker 8: in peace, when he was mayor, he would not give
- 6:32Speaker 8: any of my people press credentials at City Hall.
- 6:36Speaker 11: Why?
- 6:36Speaker 7: Why?
- 6:37Speaker 8: Just cause he didn't like me, which is fine. I
- 6:40Speaker 8: didn't like him either. Um, you know, that works fine,
- 6:44Speaker 8: but he wouldn't give any of my people media credentials.
- 6:47Speaker 8: And I came very close to filing a lawsuit in
- 6:52Speaker 8: federal court about it. Um, I didn't mostly because he
- 6:57Speaker 8: died and I didn't have to, but, but I thought
- 7:00Speaker 8: about it and because I, that, that was just wrong
- 7:05Speaker 8: at the same time. The media now is– everybody's the
- 7:09Speaker 8: media now.
- 7:10Speaker 7: Everybody's a journalist.
- 7:11Speaker 5: They can be, yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 8: I can go online and find 900 people with four
- 7:16Speaker 8: followers who claim that they are a journalist now because
- 7:20Speaker 8: they're investigating something. At City Hall down in Corpus, there's
- 7:26Speaker 8: a crazy guy down there. He's actually crazy. His name
- 7:29Speaker 8: is Sean Merritt. So if he wants to sue KSCV,
- 7:32Speaker 8: then let him go.
- 7:34Speaker 10: Let him do it.
- 7:34Speaker 7: But he's actually nuts.
- 7:37Speaker 8: And there's a media section at Corpus Christi City Hall.
- 7:42Speaker 8: They put the media on the side. And I walked
- 7:45Speaker 8: in there when I was there in Corpus last time,
- 7:47Speaker 8: and he's sitting there with his little fake press pass
- 7:51Speaker 8: that he created, saying, you know, the media. And I'm
- 7:54Speaker 8: thinking to myself, how is this Yahoo a number of
- 7:58Speaker 8: the media? But at the same time, why not? I'm
- 8:04Speaker 8: just a wannabe YouTuber now. That's what somebody told me
- 8:07Speaker 8: the other day. I'm just a wannabe YouTuber.
- 8:10Speaker 6: I'm surprised they said wannabe because I think you have
- 8:12Speaker 6: enough of an audience that you could describe yourself as
- 8:14Speaker 6: a YouTuber.
- 8:15Speaker 5: If you wanted to.
- 8:16Speaker 7: I'm a white. Eugene Howard. Wow.
- 8:19Speaker 8: Who is running for Missouri County Judge, the Democrat, who
- 8:23Speaker 8: calls white people saltines.
- 8:26Speaker 7: Which gives you a sense.
- 8:28Speaker 5: It seems like a great guy.
- 8:29Speaker 7: See what a great what a great country. We're wonderful.
- 8:33Speaker 7: He is.
- 8:33Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 7: 250 years.
- 8:36Speaker 5: I will say something about this, though.
- 8:37Speaker 6: Part of the reason that so many people are wannabe
- 8:41Speaker 6: journalists or independent journalists or whatever you want to call
- 8:43Speaker 6: them is because the media isn't doing its job. If
- 8:46Speaker 6: the mainstream legacy media were behaving the way it behaved
- 8:51Speaker 6: when Wayne Dolcefino was on television and they sent someone
- 8:54Speaker 6: like you in with enough money and resources to report
- 8:58Speaker 6: on things and then told us the stuff that was
- 9:01Speaker 6: going on. I think that trust in media would slowly return,
- 9:06Speaker 6: but they don't have anybody doing that. They don't have
- 9:08Speaker 6: any interest in the cost of that kind of thing,
- 9:11Speaker 6: which is why guys like you, in order to actually
- 9:13Speaker 6: tell these stories, do have to go figure out a
- 9:16Speaker 6: way to fund it on your own because I know
- 9:18Speaker 6: you've talked about this on the show before, incredibly expensive
- 9:21Speaker 6: to have all the people and pieces necessary to do
- 9:25Speaker 6: any sort of investigative journalism. That's the kind of thing
- 9:28Speaker 6: television used to pride itself on that now they just
- 9:31Speaker 6: blatantly ignore.
- 9:33Speaker 8: Yeah, it would be somewhat better if there was some
- 9:37Speaker 8: belief that the media was just a-holes to everybody.
- 9:40Speaker 7: Sure. Which is what we really should be.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Yes.
- 9:43Speaker 8: We should just be the person that when we walk
- 9:46Speaker 8: out the door, the politicians whisper, God, I wish you
- 9:49Speaker 8: would be hit by a bus. You want everybody to
- 9:53Speaker 8: think that about you. I relish that people sometimes hate me. Sure.
- 10:00Speaker 5: Well, because it means you're doing a good job. I
- 10:01Speaker 5: know we've got to take a break.
- 10:03Speaker 6: After the break, I do want to play a couple
- 10:05Speaker 6: pieces of audio, one that went viral last Thursday and
- 10:08Speaker 6: then one that went viral long before it, but they're
- 10:10Speaker 6: both James Tallarico's pastor.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Babs, I think, is her name. She is becoming a huge.
- 10:17Speaker 6: Problem for the Tallarico campaign because of the stuff she's saying,
- 10:21Speaker 6: the willingness to tell the truth, and how much insight
- 10:24Speaker 6: it's giving us into what Tallarico actually intends to do, man.
- 10:27Speaker 6: So I want to get Wayne Dolcefino's take on both
- 10:29Speaker 6: of these. As I said, I kind of played one
- 10:31Speaker 6: of them already last week, but you weren't here. So
- 10:34Speaker 6: we need to hear what you think of this investigative
- 10:37Speaker 6: journalism going on around Tallarico. And it is no-name social
- 10:41Speaker 6: media people that are doing it, but it's big-name social
- 10:44Speaker 6: media people that are then pushing it out to the masses.
- 10:47Speaker 7: Would that be you?
- 10:48Speaker 5: No, it would not be me.
- 10:49Speaker 6: That's Amuse and Chris Salcedo and a bunch of other people.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Although this show is doing a little bit of that.
- 10:55Speaker 5: Quick break. A lot more.
- 10:57Speaker 6: This is KSEV Mornings. He's Wayne Dolcefino. I'm Craig Collins on.
- 11:01Speaker 5: The Voice of Texas.

- 12:22Speaker 12: Way what do we really know about james talarico talarico.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Said defending trans texas is something we have to do.
- 12:30Speaker 12: Every day Tallarico supported using taxpayer dollars for sex change
- 12:34Speaker 12: surgeries on young children, claimed denying your child's gender identity
- 12:38Speaker 12: is abusive, said the trans community needs abortion care too,
- 12:42Speaker 12: and even called Jesus a radical feminist and said God
- 12:46Speaker 12: is non-binary.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Defending trans Texas is something we have to do every day.
- 12:51Speaker 7: But it gets worse.
- 12:52Speaker 12: James Tallarico voted to allow biological men access to women's
- 12:56Speaker 12: bathrooms in schools and for biological boys to play in
- 13:00Speaker 12: girls' sports, saying some things are more important than fair
- 13:04Speaker 12: competition in sports.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Defending trans Texas is something we have to do every day.
- 13:09Speaker 12: Radical liberal James Tallarico. For they, them, not you. Texas
- 13:15Speaker 12: PAC is responsible for the content of this advertising.

- 13:23Speaker 9: Growing up, I remember watching my dad drop everything to
- 13:26Speaker 9: help somebody in need. Early or late, if somebody needed help,
- 13:30Speaker 9: he showed up. Hi, I'm Tommy Mello, CEO of Garage
- 13:33Speaker 9: Door Doctor. That lesson stuck with me. That's why our
- 13:36Speaker 9: regular business hours are 6 a.m.
- 13:38Speaker 12: To 10 p.m.
- 13:39Speaker 9: Every day. No extra charge for early mornings for late evenings.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Because getting help on your schedule shouldn't cost more.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Garage Door Doctor.
- 13:53Speaker 14: Tune in to the Ray Massey Reverse Mortgage Show each
- 13:56Speaker 14: Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 p.m. with

- 14:01Speaker 14: at reversemortgages4texans. com.
- 14:02Speaker 3: KFTV Radio.
- 14:23Speaker 6: This is The Voice of Texas. I am Craig Colonese.
- 14:27Speaker 6: He is Wayne Dolcefino. We are the Italians and the
- 14:30Speaker 6: mob guys. And I feel like if the mob were involved, Wayne,
- 14:35Speaker 6: in the Tallarico campaign, one of the people they'd want
- 14:38Speaker 6: to be quiet is his pastor, Babs, because she keeps
- 14:42Speaker 6: hurting the campaign a pretty significant amount.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Did you see the thing that went viral last week?
- 14:47Speaker 15: Yes.
- 14:47Speaker 7: She would be gunned down. I would. I would take
- 14:51Speaker 7: her out first.
- 14:53Speaker 5: She'd be very gone.
- 14:54Speaker 6: By the way, are we actually feeding audio to the
- 14:56Speaker 6: live stream today, or are we not feeding the audio
- 14:59Speaker 6: to the Internet?
- 15:01Speaker 5: The plug, is it plugged in and stuff? Is it going?
- 15:02Speaker 5: Because I'm not seeing an audio level. Is it plugged in? Okay,
- 15:06Speaker 5: let me fix it on– yeah, hold on, hold on,
- 15:09Speaker 5: hold on.
- 15:10Speaker 7: In the meantime, I have some breaking news.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Okay, go ahead. What's your breaking news?
- 15:14Speaker 7: Putin won again.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, Putin. Yeah, that's shocking, right? That is incredible.
- 15:19Speaker 8: I thought that was– that really is the big story
- 15:21Speaker 8: this morning.
- 15:22Speaker 6: It looks like the audio is now working. Just turn
- 15:24Speaker 6: it down a little bit on that headphone thing because
- 15:26Speaker 6: it's too high. But, yeah, okay, here we go. So
- 15:28Speaker 6: now we can play some audio. We can play some
- 15:30Speaker 6: things if you want to hear these, Wayne. The first
- 15:33Speaker 6: one I want to play– I just want to remind
- 15:35Speaker 6: people of who Babs Miller is. This went viral a
- 15:41Speaker 6: while ago, but it's resurfacing now that she's popped up
- 15:44Speaker 6: in another hidden thing. I think Town Hall– is the
- 15:46Speaker 6: place that did the first hidden whatever.
- 15:49Speaker 5: And they found her.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Talking about how, you know, God is actually non-binary, like
- 15:56Speaker 6: all this crazy stuff that Tallarico says, and just a
- 15:59Speaker 6: bunch of other weird things.
- 16:01Speaker 5: Also about her being a lesbian, I think, is in there.
- 16:04Speaker 5: There's a bunch of that.
- 16:05Speaker 6: But then the thing that went even more viral recently
- 16:09Speaker 6: was her talking to some young man about about the
- 16:12Speaker 6: flip-flopping in the Tallarico campaign.
- 16:14Speaker 5: You know what? Let's play the new stuff first. Then
- 16:16Speaker 5: we'll play the old stuff. Here is the newer clip.
- 16:19Speaker 6: This is a guy that did an undercover thing with
- 16:23Speaker 6: Babs Miller, the minister for James Tallarico.
- 16:26Speaker 16: People are attacking Tallarico for saying that God is non-binary.
- 16:32Speaker 3: That's literally what he is.
- 16:36Speaker 16: He went on Fox News and walked that back. Did
- 16:39Speaker 16: you see that?
- 16:42Speaker 11: Yeah, he's giving some advice that I don't think he
- 16:48Speaker 11: should be following.
- 16:49Speaker 16: Yeah, because that's why, frankly, something that attracted me to
- 16:53Speaker 16: this church was like....
- 16:56Speaker 11: And I can guarantee you that once he gets elected,
- 16:59Speaker 11: he'll change.
- 17:00Speaker 7: His mind back to where he was.
- 17:02Speaker 16: But he has to kind of play this game.
- 17:04Speaker 11: Yes, that's what his campaign has convinced him of, is
- 17:07Speaker 11: that the Democratic Party is backing off. on their stances
- 17:12Speaker 11: on trans and all of this. And so his staff
- 17:18Speaker 11: is encouraging him to kind of do the same thing.
- 17:20Speaker 6: But just for now, Wayne, his staff is telling him
- 17:23Speaker 6: that the messaging has to change in the short term.
- 17:26Speaker 6: But then of course, once he gets elected, he'll do
- 17:28Speaker 6: all the crazy stuff he wants to do.
- 17:30Speaker 16: Oh yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 8: And there's guys that hate the Jews that are pretending
- 17:34Speaker 8: that they don't really hate the Jews until after the election.
- 17:37Speaker 8: And then they're going to hate the Jews again. Look,
- 17:41Speaker 8: some of these issues and I don't have like a
- 17:44Speaker 8: throat clear here.
- 17:45Speaker 5: So I can talk while you clear your throat.
- 17:48Speaker 12: No, no.
- 17:48Speaker 8: But, but some of these, uh, positions, you know, on
- 17:52Speaker 8: gender and sex, you don't change those.
- 17:54Speaker 7: You don't like evolve. Right. Over those things. Right.
- 17:58Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 17:58Speaker 8: You either like sort of know that they're.
- 18:01Speaker 7: Only like men and women. Right.
- 18:04Speaker 8: And, and, and there are people that may have issues
- 18:07Speaker 8: that have issues.
- 18:08Speaker 7: Right. Uh, Or you don't.
- 18:11Speaker 8: And I just don't know that if people are that naive,
- 18:18Speaker 8: that they don't realize that when you see Tallarico now,
- 18:22Speaker 8: you know, palling around with the regular folk, right? Hanging
- 18:26Speaker 8: out with Grandpa on the porch, talking, you know, old
- 18:29Speaker 8: school Baptist stuff. If you don't know that that's not real,
- 18:35Speaker 8: then I don't know that we can help you. And
- 18:38Speaker 8: we are dealing with a a stupidity problem, right? And
- 18:43Speaker 8: a lack of information problem because people don't get their
- 18:48Speaker 8: news anymore from a relatively moderate place. They just don't.
- 18:55Speaker 8: So these people believe the most horrible things. I really
- 19:01Speaker 8: find it hard to even debate people about Trump or
- 19:08Speaker 8: the Republicans or about evil corporations or whatever.
- 19:14Speaker 6: What's great about your setup, that these people are just
- 19:16Speaker 6: kind of terrible people, is that the other piece of
- 19:18Speaker 6: audio that went viral a while ago was Babs Miller
- 19:21Speaker 6: admitting to someone in a hidden camera that most of
- 19:24Speaker 6: her congregation wishes Trump had been shot and killed. And
- 19:28Speaker 6: this is a church, a congregation of a church, a
- 19:31Speaker 6: Presbyterian church. And she's saying pretty nonchalantly, oh, yeah, we
- 19:36Speaker 6: really do wish that they had been more successful in
- 19:38Speaker 6: And shot and killed President Trump back when they tried
- 19:42Speaker 6: to try to assassinate him. And it's just it's crazy
- 19:45Speaker 6: to hear her say that kind of stuff, because, you know,
- 19:48Speaker 6: of course, you would think the people at a church
- 19:51Speaker 6: probably wouldn't really want that to happen.
- 19:53Speaker 5: I do have that audio, too. We can play that, too.
- 19:55Speaker 15: If you polled our membership and asked them whether they
- 20:00Speaker 15: were Christian, agnostic or atheist, the vast majority would say
- 20:05Speaker 15: agnostic or atheist.
- 20:07Speaker 5: That's probably not good.
- 20:08Speaker 15: Because they don't buy the religion that we got from
- 20:18Speaker 15: the Puritans. We still have people in this church that
- 20:20Speaker 15: wish that that young man had not just nicked his ear,
- 20:24Speaker 15: but been more successful.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Killed him.
- 20:26Speaker 6: Wish he had killed Trump. That's the kind of thing
- 20:28Speaker 6: the left says, and they say that within a church.
- 20:31Speaker 8: That's an amen kind of moment for her. Look, what
- 20:36Speaker 8: is it with the Presbyterians?
- 20:37Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 20:38Speaker 8: Some of the Lutherans, too. We went to a Lutheran
- 20:41Speaker 8: church a little bit in Austin, and my son decided
- 20:46Speaker 8: we weren't going to go there again because I think
- 20:48Speaker 8: the pastor or whatever the person was, it was like
- 20:52Speaker 8: blue hair talking about trans people, and it was like,
- 20:58Speaker 8: where are we?
- 21:01Speaker 7: Look, it is what it is. We are being.
- 21:05Speaker 8: split up into so many different pieces that, like I said,
- 21:10Speaker 8: I don't know how you put this genie back in
- 21:12Speaker 8: the bottle. And I don't also know that Republicans or
- 21:17Speaker 8: conservatives are ready to fight the kind of battle that
- 21:22Speaker 8: Democrats fight. We've started late, right, running ads and doing
- 21:29Speaker 8: all this kind of stuff.
- 21:30Speaker 7: But I just.
- 21:31Speaker 8: I just get a feel that we've almost sort of
- 21:34Speaker 8: resigned ourselves that this is going to be a bad election.
- 21:38Speaker 7: In a lot of ways by a lot of what
- 21:40Speaker 7: we're saying.
- 21:41Speaker 8: You know, when you're depressed and someone says, well, Wayne,
- 21:44Speaker 8: what do you think of the media today? You know,
- 21:47Speaker 8: you were in it for so long and you're so
- 21:50Speaker 8: depressed about what's happening to it. I think a lot
- 21:53Speaker 8: of people are just sort of saying, you know what?
- 21:57Speaker 7: Fine.
- 21:58Speaker 5: You know what I think is so.
- 21:59Speaker 6: like accurate about that statement you just made, because you
- 22:02Speaker 6: can see it in the way that people are sort
- 22:04Speaker 6: of ignoring some of the most ridiculous things that we
- 22:06Speaker 6: should be attacking, like attacking them better. Because I do
- 22:11Speaker 6: think that there is a strategy that just was completely dropped.
- 22:14Speaker 6: And you said it great, Wayne. Like, I don't know
- 22:16Speaker 6: if they're ready for the type of fight that they
- 22:18Speaker 6: have to fight. There's another piece of audio that went
- 22:20Speaker 6: viral on Friday. It's another, I think, religious influence of Tallarico.
- 22:27Speaker 6: They call him like his faith leader. who's talking about
- 22:29Speaker 6: an inclusive Bible, where all the references to he are removed.
- 22:35Speaker 6: So they do refer to God as if he is non-binary.
- 22:38Speaker 5: Not a man or woman.
- 22:40Speaker 7: As a they-them God?
- 22:41Speaker 6: Well, I think they just try to say God all
- 22:43Speaker 6: the time in their Bible, this Bible that this guy
- 22:46Speaker 6: is proud of. And even the Son of God is removed.
- 22:49Speaker 5: So they don't even refer to Jesus as a man
- 22:52Speaker 5: in the Bible.
- 22:53Speaker 6: And the guy was caught on a Camera by Daily
- 22:56Speaker 6: Caller talking about how great the Bible is.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Go ahead.
- 22:58Speaker 7: So we've got it all wrong, right? It wasn't a
- 23:01Speaker 7: son at all, right? It was a girl.
- 23:05Speaker 6: Well, what's crazy about that is like that's the type
- 23:08Speaker 6: of attitude that's so easy to attack because it's so ridiculous.
- 23:12Speaker 6: And so obviously like anti even Catholic or Christian that
- 23:18Speaker 6: you would think it's something that would be on rotation
- 23:20Speaker 6: much heavier.
- 23:21Speaker 5: And it's not.
- 23:22Speaker 6: And maybe that's because a lot of people have given
- 23:25Speaker 6: up that they can't even fight this fight.
- 23:27Speaker 8: But don't you think that people already know this? Well,
- 23:31Speaker 8: I really was. kind of thinking, and maybe they're still
- 23:34Speaker 8: going to do it. I mean, it's just September. So,
- 23:36Speaker 8: you know, we, I know early voting starts soon, but I,
- 23:41Speaker 8: I have not heard enough.
- 23:42Speaker 7: About how Tallarico actually voted on issues. Yeah. Sure. On issues. Look, I, we,
- 23:49Speaker 7: I get the, he's a bit of a freak show.
- 23:53Speaker 7: I get it.
- 23:53Speaker 10: Right.
- 23:54Speaker 8: And I get the religion thing. And I, I get
- 23:57Speaker 8: that call to that will be most interesting to, to
- 24:02Speaker 8: like Christian folks who are real practicing Christians.
- 24:06Speaker 7: I'm just not sure that a lot of the independents
- 24:09Speaker 7: are that.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Care about that.
- 24:10Speaker 9: Care about that.
- 24:11Speaker 6: He did vote for state income taxes in Texas. That
- 24:15Speaker 6: is something that he's a fan of.
- 24:16Speaker 8: Yeah, I heard Gina Hinojosa say that too. I'm all
- 24:22Speaker 8: for it. Let's have an income tax.
- 24:23Speaker 6: And that would be bad. And a lot of Texans
- 24:25Speaker 6: would not be a fan of that, you would think.
- 24:27Speaker 6: That would helpfully lose some people some elections.
- 24:30Speaker 7: And I would be shoving that up their kazoo.
- 24:32Speaker 5: All the time.
- 24:34Speaker 7: All the time.
- 24:35Speaker 8: And I would run an ad about all of them.
- 24:37Speaker 8: These are the people you want to put in. They
- 24:40Speaker 8: want to put an income tax on you. To me, again,
- 24:47Speaker 8: and maybe I'm more of an economic voter than a.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Quote, faith voter, but.
- 24:55Speaker 8: That to me is far more Interesting to me at
- 24:59Speaker 8: this point than another trans commercial.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Sure. Well, I get it.
- 25:03Speaker 6: But I guess what I'm trying to say and what
- 25:05Speaker 6: I what I'm wondering about within, you know, your opinion
- 25:08Speaker 6: of this is, is what is it that is so
- 25:12Speaker 6: unrepresentative of Texans that is a core component of Tallarico
- 25:17Speaker 6: and and anyone else on the Democratic side of the aisle?
- 25:20Speaker 6: And I think what Republican strategists believe it to be
- 25:24Speaker 6: is this stuff is the the trans this or the,
- 25:27Speaker 6: you know, woke Bible that over there. They think that
- 25:30Speaker 6: is a winning message in Texas. But I think that
- 25:32Speaker 6: you have a good point. And it doesn't seem to
- 25:34Speaker 6: be landing. It doesn't seem to be where maybe people
- 25:37Speaker 6: are one ear and out the other for that. Maybe
- 25:39Speaker 6: they don't believe it.
- 25:41Speaker 8: I do understand the idea of trying to get the
- 25:45Speaker 8: base all riled up.
- 25:47Speaker 7: Sure. Right.
- 25:48Speaker 8: The folks who vote. that that's the most important issue
- 25:51Speaker 8: they have. And I'm not trying to say it's not
- 25:54Speaker 8: important because, to me, the whole guys playing in women's
- 25:59Speaker 8: sports things and mutilating kids is kind of like a
- 26:02Speaker 8: no-brainer kind of issue for me. But I also think
- 26:08Speaker 8: there are much bigger issues, and Republicans should not be
- 26:13Speaker 8: afraid to tackle the things that people criticize them on
- 26:20Speaker 8: Because I think sometimes you can convince some of the
- 26:24Speaker 8: independents of a thing called logic and common sense.
- 26:31Speaker 14: Sure.
- 26:31Speaker 6: So I think what I'm hearing you say, Wayne, and
- 26:33Speaker 6: I know we've got to take another break in a second,
- 26:35Speaker 6: is we should own more of our mistakes and give
- 26:38Speaker 6: new solutions to some of those problems.
- 26:40Speaker 8: Yeah, and I don't even know that you have to
- 26:42Speaker 8: necessarily say we screwed up. I think you need to
- 26:46Speaker 8: tell people what you are doing. on the issues that
- 26:50Speaker 8: they care about the most.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Sure.
- 26:54Speaker 8: And then what the alternative people want, right? What the
- 26:59Speaker 8: commies want. And you've got to be able to do that.
- 27:03Speaker 8: And that's why I sort of wonder, like, things like
- 27:06Speaker 8: barring reporters from news organizations.
- 27:09Speaker 5: That's hurting you more than helping you.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 6: It's just a distraction to me.
- 27:14Speaker 5: I get it. 281-558-5738 if you want to call in
- 27:16Speaker 5: and be a part.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Of the show.
- 27:17Speaker 5: 281-558-5738. We can talk about some of those issues in
- 27:22Speaker 5: just a bit. I also have one.
- 27:24Speaker 6: Other piece of that Tallarico audio I referenced from the
- 27:26Speaker 6: inclusive Bible stuff coming up on KSED Radio Mornings with
- 27:31Speaker 6: Wayne Dolcefino and Craig Collin.
- 27:49Speaker 10: When it's time to replace a roof, some people put
- 27:51Speaker 10: it off until an emergency arises. This is Deb DeHatta
- 27:54Speaker 10: from Tejas Roofing, your Houston roofing company.
- 27:57Speaker 16: I understand.
- 27:58Speaker 10: People tell me it's way too complicated and too expensive.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Our customers tell us they wish they would have done
- 28:04Speaker 4: it sooner.
- 28:05Speaker 17: I hear it all the time.
- 28:06Speaker 10: Once the roof is replaced, they wonder why they waited
- 28:09Speaker 10: so long because it's really not that complicated. We show
- 28:12Speaker 10: up on time. We quote you a fair price. We
- 28:15Speaker 10: replace most roofs in just one day. At Tejas Roofing,
- 28:18Speaker 10: we take pride in making the process easy.
- 28:21Speaker 4: The cleanup is phenomenal. People always comment that it looks
- 28:24Speaker 4: like we were never there. And now those customers sleep
- 28:26Speaker 4: better at night knowing your new roof has been installed correctly.
- 28:30Speaker 10: When you know you need a new roof, don't put
- 28:32Speaker 10: it off. Call me now, Dept. of Hata at Tejas Roofing, 281-251-0304.

- 29:21Speaker 15: Huzzah!
- 29:23Speaker 5: And now for the bonus round. Who imposes property taxes?
- 29:28Speaker 5: State government. Nice try, but no. Local governments.
- 29:33Speaker 16: Correct.
- 29:34Speaker 5: And we have a winner.
- 29:36Speaker 14: Here's Governor Greg Abbott on his plan to control property taxes.
- 29:40Speaker 19: The state of Texas does not impose a property tax.
- 29:43Speaker 19: Only local governments impose property taxes. One of the reasons
- 29:47Speaker 19: why your property taxes are going up is because local
- 29:50Speaker 19: governments are increasing their spending. So the first thing we
- 29:53Speaker 19: got to do is to stop the spending that leads
- 29:57Speaker 19: to property tax increases. You should have a say on
- 30:00Speaker 19: whether or not your property taxes go up.
- 30:02Speaker 5: It should be a vote.
- 30:03Speaker 19: That requires two-thirds vote before any property tax increase can
- 30:08Speaker 19: ever be imposed on our fellow Texans. You're going to
- 30:10Speaker 19: be able to live in your home for the rest
- 30:13Speaker 19: of your lives without being priced out of it.
- 30:15Speaker 7: Protecting homeowners, lowering property taxes. That's Governor Greg Abbott.
- 30:20Speaker 20: Political ad paid for by Texans for Greg Abbott.

- 30:44Speaker 21: than the doctor.
- 30:48Speaker 9: We got a call late New Year's Eve. A father
- 30:50Speaker 9: with big plans for his family the next day said
- 30:52Speaker 9: his garage door spring just snapped. He couldn't get his
- 30:54Speaker 9: car out and wouldn't be able to get his family
- 30:56Speaker 9: to where they needed to go. He felt stuck and alone.
- 30:59Speaker 9: So we showed up fast with the right spring and
- 31:02Speaker 9: the right parts to fix it right.
- 31:03Speaker 5: We didn't talk about the price.
- 31:04Speaker 14: We didn't wait till the morning.
- 31:06Speaker 9: We fixed it right then. Because at Garage Door Doctor,
- 31:09Speaker 9: it's never just about the job. It's about the person

- 31:32Speaker 5: Garage doors, no one knows more than the doctor.
- 31:39Speaker 20: From the KSEV Weather Center, today will be partly sunny,
- 31:42Speaker 20: very warm and humid with a chance of a thunderstorm
- 31:44Speaker 20: in some areas this afternoon reaching a high of 96. Tonight,
- 31:47Speaker 20: expect clear to partly cloudy skies and humid conditions with
- 31:50Speaker 20: a low of 76. Tomorrow will bring mostly sunny skies
- 31:53Speaker 20: and toasty weather with a chance of a thunderstorm in
- 31:55Speaker 20: spots during the afternoon and a high of 96. Wednesday
- 31:57Speaker 20: is expected to be mostly sunny and very warm with
- 32:00Speaker 20: a chance of a thunderstorm in some areas during the
- 32:02Speaker 20: afternoon and a high of 95. With the KSEV Weather
- 32:05Speaker 20: Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather meteorologist Joe Lundberg.
- 32:20Speaker 6: KSTV Radio, 700 AM, The Voice of Texas. My name
- 32:29Speaker 6: is Craig Colonese. He is Wayne Dolcefino. And a bunch
- 32:32Speaker 6: of stuff broke during the commercial break, and Wayne very
- 32:35Speaker 6: impressively put it all.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Back together on his side.
- 32:38Speaker 7: In a matter of seconds.
- 32:39Speaker 6: In a matter of seconds. But I'm still going to
- 32:41Speaker 6: come over there. And you keep saying I'm not allowed over,
- 32:44Speaker 6: but I'm coming over and I'm fixing stuff.
- 32:46Speaker 8: My microphone is weighing down. I actually have to hold
- 32:49Speaker 8: it with my other hand. This is like doing radio
- 32:52Speaker 8: with like a plastic cup.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Yeah, right.
- 32:55Speaker 6: I'm going to make it way better. I'm going to
- 32:57Speaker 6: come over there. I'm going to bring some things. I'm
- 32:59Speaker 6: going to fix it again. And then we're not going
- 33:00Speaker 6: to fix it.
- 33:01Speaker 7: Remove. Sorry.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Why don't you want me to fix stuff, man?
- 33:07Speaker 7: Come on.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Let me over there.
- 33:08Speaker 7: I want to point out my.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Skeleton.
- 33:11Speaker 8: My new buddy that is a skeleton hanging out on
- 33:15Speaker 8: my couch because he'll work as hard as the people
- 33:19Speaker 8: that I have employed here.
- 33:20Speaker 3: All right.
- 33:21Speaker 6: I want to ask you about something we were just
- 33:23Speaker 6: talking about off the air. Truth Social has been used
- 33:27Speaker 6: yet again to put out some sort of statement from
- 33:30Speaker 6: the president. He does that very often. He goes to
- 33:32Speaker 6: his social media account. And I think you're even making
- 33:35Speaker 6: somewhat of like a sort of a I wish he
- 33:38Speaker 6: didn't do it that way version of a comment to me.
- 33:41Speaker 5: But what's the latest one on Truth Social that's out there? Okay.
- 33:44Speaker 7: You know, the arch, the 250 foot arch. Yeah.
- 33:47Speaker 8: It's now because, you know, veterans groups and some others
- 33:51Speaker 8: are complaining about it. He says it's going to be
- 33:55Speaker 8: a installation, a complex for drones and snipers. So as
- 34:02Speaker 8: you fly into Washington over the arch, there'll be some
- 34:05Speaker 8: guy up there with a with a rifle.
- 34:09Speaker 7: Okay. Ready to. Shoot you.
- 34:11Speaker 5: I can I can read that true. I don't know.
- 34:13Speaker 6: I can read the true social post and then we
- 34:16Speaker 6: can decide if we think this is true or not.
- 34:18Speaker 8: Yeah, because I did read about it from a news
- 34:20Speaker 8: story and I don't trust the news.
- 34:22Speaker 5: OK, so truth social.
- 34:23Speaker 6: This is what Trump actually wrote at the strong request
- 34:26Speaker 6: of the United States military and for national security purposes.
- 34:29Speaker 6: I have agreed to convert the magnificent Trumpal arch planned
- 34:34Speaker 6: since the triumphal arch planned since the Civil War era
- 34:37Speaker 6: many years ago. at the receptive circle adjoining the Arlington blah, blah, blah, blah,
- 34:42Speaker 6: into a large number of military snipers and have rapid
- 34:48Speaker 6: ability to take down large amounts of drones, both on
- 34:51Speaker 6: the roof and the plaza areas, and additionally have and
- 34:54Speaker 6: hold large quantities of sniper ammunition in storage. So he's
- 34:59Speaker 6: essentially saying, I paraphrase in the middle there, because he
- 35:01Speaker 6: went on and on about stuff we probably didn't care about,
- 35:04Speaker 6: that he's converting it at the request of the military.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Into something that has military capability.
- 35:10Speaker 7: I mean, really? Is that what we're doing?
- 35:14Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 35:15Speaker 7: How big is this arch going to be? I mean,
- 35:17Speaker 7: is it going to be a warehouse?
- 35:18Speaker 8: Can't we just like rent a storage facility somewhere for
- 35:22Speaker 8: like 20 bucks?
- 35:23Speaker 5: We could.
- 35:24Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 35:24Speaker 6: And I'm sure someone could make the argument that if
- 35:26Speaker 6: you actually wanted to install a bunch of like sniper
- 35:29Speaker 6: spots throughout all of DC, maybe the arch isn't the
- 35:31Speaker 6: best spot for that. Maybe there's other places that you
- 35:35Speaker 6: would do a military only version.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Of protection.
- 35:38Speaker 6: But again, this goes back to something you said a
- 35:41Speaker 6: lot on the show even today, Wayne. I don't think
- 35:43Speaker 6: people really care about this, but they are probably going
- 35:46Speaker 6: to take a shot at the accuracy of it. So
- 35:49Speaker 6: if they can question it for being legitimate, that might
- 35:52Speaker 6: hurt Trump more than it helps him to say that
- 35:54Speaker 6: this is happening.
- 35:56Speaker 8: Look, I don't think people care about it. I don't
- 35:58Speaker 8: think it's something like, I'm not going to go into
- 36:00Speaker 8: the polls and vote against Republicans because.
- 36:04Speaker 7: Of the arch. I just... Well, I don't know. I
- 36:11Speaker 7: don't even know what to say. I know.
- 36:13Speaker 8: Because it's just all of this stuff just starts to
- 36:17Speaker 8: feel like we're just avoiding the elephant in the room.
- 36:22Speaker 8: There's a lot of good economic things going on that
- 36:25Speaker 8: suggest that we're starting to turn the corner on this.
- 36:30Speaker 8: You know, for the first year, when they said labor
- 36:34Speaker 8: markets were flat, it's because we were getting rid of
- 36:36Speaker 8: all these idiot bureaucrats that were stuffed in an office somewhere.
- 36:41Speaker 8: And sure, Doge may have not have done it exactly right,
- 36:44Speaker 8: but you know, look, it also makes me wonder whether
- 36:49Speaker 8: we should even have midterms. It's almost, I'm almost at
- 36:54Speaker 8: the point to say, you know what, maybe it's not
- 36:57Speaker 8: fair that we elect a president. And then within like
- 37:01Speaker 8: nine months, we're already starting midterm campaigns for the next
- 37:07Speaker 8: year to stop him in his tracks from doing the
- 37:11Speaker 8: things we just elected him or her to do. By
- 37:16Speaker 8: the way, I was talking to my son this weekend
- 37:18Speaker 8: and he actually told me that he had, he thinks
- 37:21Speaker 8: that Kamala Harris is going to be the nominee for
- 37:23Speaker 8: the Democrats in 2028.
- 37:25Speaker 7: That's crazy. Do you think so?
- 37:27Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't think so.
- 37:29Speaker 6: I think that if she actually has to go through a,
- 37:32Speaker 6: primary and debate people because she's not going to be
- 37:34Speaker 6: able to be gifted it this time. She actually has
- 37:37Speaker 6: to earn it.
- 37:38Speaker 5: I can't imagine.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Well, I think we've learned the lesson that she doesn't
- 37:41Speaker 6: get primary support within her own party, that they do
- 37:44Speaker 6: support other people. That's how Biden even became the candidate
- 37:48Speaker 6: in 2020 to begin with.
- 37:49Speaker 5: People thought Harris would run away with it. She didn't.
- 37:52Speaker 8: So look, as someone who drinks, I appreciate Kamala Harris.
- 37:58Speaker 8: I do because you guys share that.
- 38:00Speaker 7: Yeah. I do, but I, I just can't, I can't
- 38:04Speaker 7: believe it. And Gavin Newsom, look, I'm not.
- 38:06Speaker 8: Obviously I'm not a Gavin Newsom fan by any means,
- 38:08Speaker 8: but what a wimp when he said, well, if she runs,
- 38:13Speaker 8: I'm not going to run like really. And you, is
- 38:17Speaker 8: that how tough you are that you give up even
- 38:20Speaker 8: before you try to run? I do know the Democrats
- 38:24Speaker 8: first primary South Carolina, and that's going to be a
- 38:28Speaker 8: black thing.
- 38:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 20: Right.
- 38:29Speaker 7: Sure. And, and, And then Nevada, I think, is number two.
- 38:33Speaker 8: So she could, you know, go into South Carolina and
- 38:37Speaker 8: win because of the large African-American vote and then win
- 38:42Speaker 8: Nevada because Nevada has a lot of, you know, labor unions,
- 38:45Speaker 8: a lot of a lot of black folk there to
- 38:48Speaker 8: Hispanic folk. It's possible she could win the first couple
- 38:52Speaker 8: and there's not much of a race.
- 38:54Speaker 7: Sure. I mean, there's going to be Pete Buttigieg and
- 38:57Speaker 7: no one's going to vote.
- 38:58Speaker 5: For him, really?
- 38:59Speaker 6: I just don't think that she has the capability from
- 39:02Speaker 6: an interview, debate, whatever you call it, standpoint, to garner support.
- 39:07Speaker 7: Just say she's stupid.
- 39:08Speaker 5: She is stupid. She talks in circles and she's dumb.
- 39:09Speaker 7: Just say she's stupid.
- 39:18Speaker 6: At the beginning where you'd think that she'd get a
- 39:20Speaker 6: lot of momentum, I think someone else will come along
- 39:23Speaker 6: who can at least put sentences together that can do
- 39:25Speaker 6: it more eloquently that will wind up being a more
- 39:28Speaker 6: interesting candidate. Like here, even in Texas, a lot of
- 39:31Speaker 6: people thought Jasmine Crockett was going to run away with
- 39:34Speaker 6: the the, you know, primary win from the Democratic side
- 39:38Speaker 6: for that Senate seat.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Didn't happen.
- 39:40Speaker 6: And as much as I dislike Tallarico and as many
- 39:43Speaker 6: things as he says that I think are absolutely ridiculous here.
- 39:47Speaker 6: He is much more eloquent than Crockett was and much
- 39:50Speaker 6: more capable in like the Joe Rogan interview of something
- 39:53Speaker 6: of getting people to support the simplistic version of his
- 39:56Speaker 6: ideas on the Democratic side, not the complicated one that
- 40:00Speaker 6: we're trying to actually take shots at. But I think
- 40:02Speaker 6: that's what you're going to see within the 2028 actual
- 40:06Speaker 6: presidential primary is a Gavin Newsom or someone else that
- 40:10Speaker 6: isn't even all that liked in California will come along
- 40:12Speaker 6: and say better things when talking into a microphone.
- 40:17Speaker 8: Yeah, because the Democrats love coming out of California. Look,
- 40:20Speaker 8: I've said it before. I thought Jasmine Crockett would have
- 40:23Speaker 8: been actually a bigger potential threat.
- 40:28Speaker 7: Fair enough.
- 40:29Speaker 8: One of the big things we're going to be watching
- 40:31Speaker 8: on Election Day is the black folk.
- 40:34Speaker 7: Sure. Do the black folk vote for these socialists?
- 40:38Speaker 16: Yes.
- 40:38Speaker 8: Do they vote for a six-gender sex freak?
- 40:44Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 40:45Speaker 8: That's going to be to me If they stay home,
- 40:48Speaker 8: if they don't come out, then I think the Republicans
- 40:53Speaker 8: may may come away with it.
- 40:55Speaker 6: You know, what's interesting about what you said, 60 Minutes
- 40:57Speaker 6: did a piece yesterday and I almost never like reference
- 41:01Speaker 6: or play 60 Minutes.
- 41:03Speaker 5: But it was in Texas.
- 41:04Speaker 6: It was in Red Oak, Texas, where they went to
- 41:06Speaker 6: some town hall and it's a black woman speaking. And
- 41:09Speaker 6: this is kind of leaning into your black vote and
- 41:13Speaker 6: where it's going to land.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Thought talking about data centers.
- 41:16Speaker 6: And how nobody likes them, but people are supporting them
- 41:19Speaker 6: and our politicians are approving them. And it's a really
- 41:22Speaker 6: interesting discussion to me because data centers might be a
- 41:26Speaker 6: valuable message, but it's an inevitability. The reason the politicians
- 41:30Speaker 6: are all passing is because we're going to need them.
- 41:33Speaker 5: People that use.
- 41:34Speaker 6: The Internet the way they use the Internet are going
- 41:36Speaker 6: to want more data and more capability.
- 41:39Speaker 5: So it's going to happen.
- 41:40Speaker 6: And Texas seems to be at the forefront of saying
- 41:42Speaker 6: yes to data centers, but it might hurt them. in
- 41:45Speaker 6: the midterm election when it comes to the amount of
- 41:48Speaker 6: people who don't like the concept of this because they
- 41:51Speaker 6: don't understand the value of it. They only understand the
- 41:53Speaker 6: potential harm. But we can play that audio out of Texas.
- 41:57Speaker 5: From 60 Minutes. Okay. So we'll take another break. After
- 42:00Speaker 5: the break, we'll come back.
- 42:01Speaker 7: We just took one. I know.
- 42:02Speaker 5: I think we got one more we got to take.
- 42:05Speaker 5: Commercial radio, man.
- 42:07Speaker 6: One more break that we got to take, and then
- 42:08Speaker 6: after the break, we'll come back and we'll play some
- 42:10Speaker 6: 60 Minutes audio that was in Texas. that I think
- 42:13Speaker 6: is designed to try to get people to vote anti-conservative
- 42:17Speaker 6: and to couch it within data centers are bad. But
- 42:20Speaker 6: I do think a lot of that rhetoric is false
- 42:23Speaker 6: and politically stupid, and we'll talk about why, and we'll
- 42:25Speaker 6: see what Wayne thinks on The Voice of Texas, KSCV
- 42:28Speaker 6: 700 AM.
- 42:40Speaker 22: Catch Chris X Radio weekdays at 4, right here on
- 42:44Speaker 22: The Voice of Texas.
- 42:45Speaker 21: James Tallarico's lesbian minister, Babs Miller, was caught on camera
- 42:50Speaker 21: saying out loud the Democrats' little secret to get elected.
- 42:53Speaker 11: And I can guarantee you that once he gets elected...
- 42:56Speaker 11: He'll change his tune back to where he was.
- 42:59Speaker 4: If it helps him.
- 43:00Speaker 7: Win, okay.
- 43:01Speaker 21: Spoiler alert, that's exactly what he'll do. Democrats always do.
- 43:06Speaker 17: Chris X Radio, weekdays 4 till 6, right here on
- 43:09Speaker 17: The Voice of Texas.
- 43:11Speaker 22: For many years, the Pine Box has been helping families
- 43:14Speaker 22: gain insight into the often confusing and extremely expensive task
- 43:19Speaker 22: of arranging a loved one's funeral. I have worked with
- 43:22Speaker 22: Pine Box in the death of two family members because...
- 43:25Speaker 22: I know I can trust Chip Beresford at the Pine Box.
- 43:28Speaker 5: He's the owner.
- 43:29Speaker 22: To be sure that he walks me through that process
- 43:32Speaker 22: and that I am prepared for the funeral and that
- 43:36Speaker 22: I get the quality I seek without breaking the budget.
- 43:40Speaker 5: Because it's a very difficult thing.
- 43:43Speaker 22: No one wants to feel like a cheapskate handling a
- 43:45Speaker 22: funeral of a loved one. But you also can't afford
- 43:47Speaker 22: to go broke either. Funerals are statistically the third largest
- 43:51Speaker 22: expense in someone's life. The Pine Box sells the same
- 43:54Speaker 22: caskets and funeral merchandise that is offered at funeral homes,
- 43:57Speaker 22: but at a tremendous savings, and delivery is immediate and
- 44:00Speaker 22: free within the Houston area. Visit their website, thepinebox.com, or
- 44:03Speaker 22: call Chip directly at 1-888-PINEBOX. That's 1-888-PINEBOX. I trusted them,
- 44:09Speaker 22: and you can.
- 44:09Speaker 9: The Pine Box.
- 44:10Speaker 14: The Be A Planner Show host, Nathan Ross, wants to
- 44:13Speaker 14: remind you, please consider all the syndication terms of your
- 44:15Speaker 14: private real estate partnership. By understanding the syndication math, Nathan
- 44:19Speaker 14: can help you assess the benefits of ownership. Visit BeAPlanner.com
- 44:22Speaker 14: or tune in each Sunday at 7 a.m. for the
- 44:24Speaker 14: Be A Planner Show with Nathan Ross, CPA, on KSEV.
- 44:50Speaker 6: KSCV, 700 AM, the voice of Texas. My name is
- 44:55Speaker 6: Craig Colonese. He is Wayne Dolcefino. He always asks me
- 44:59Speaker 6: during the break how many minutes we have, and I
- 45:02Speaker 6: usually tell him we have three, because I think we're
- 45:04Speaker 6: mostly supposed to have three-minute breaks here. I don't know
- 45:06Speaker 6: if I'm screwing that up, though, Wayne. I'll apologize to
- 45:08Speaker 6: you on the air. I might be getting the break
- 45:10Speaker 6: times wrong.
- 45:11Speaker 5: I asked you how.
- 45:12Speaker 8: Long the break was because I'm a nicotine freak, and
- 45:15Speaker 8: you said three minutes, and then I I step out
- 45:18Speaker 8: for maybe a minute and a half, and I'm walking
- 45:21Speaker 8: back in like I'm joining a dinner party.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Here's the good news.
- 45:25Speaker 6: After today, I think you'll be able to talk directly
- 45:27Speaker 6: to Russell during commercial breaks so that you'll be able
- 45:30Speaker 6: to ask him, the guy with the actual screen, telling
- 45:32Speaker 6: him how much time we have.
- 45:34Speaker 5: So he'll be able to answer those questions better.
- 45:35Speaker 7: Well, what are you doing?
- 45:36Speaker 5: I mean, is that what you do? No, I sit
- 45:38Speaker 5: here and I talk on the show. We have a producer.
- 45:43Speaker 5: The producer's not me.
- 45:44Speaker 7: Never talked to that guy in my life. What's his name?
- 45:48Speaker 7: Don't even know him.
- 45:49Speaker 5: Russell Sherrill. He is the host of the Press Box.
- 45:52Speaker 5: He crushes everybody.
- 45:53Speaker 8: I want to hear a smart, perceptive, is she an
- 46:00Speaker 8: older black woman?
- 46:01Speaker 6: I think I would guess she's probably in her mid
- 46:04Speaker 6: to late 60s, maybe early 70s.
- 46:07Speaker 7: That's my kind of black woman.
- 46:09Speaker 5: This is your kind of black lady.
- 46:11Speaker 6: She was featured on 60 Minutes. I think her name
- 46:14Speaker 6: is Jasmine Villegas. I'm not sure if I'm getting that
- 46:17Speaker 6: last name right. But she is Viagas. She is talking
- 46:21Speaker 6: at a Red Oak, Texas event about data centers and
- 46:25Speaker 6: how bad they are.
- 46:26Speaker 10: How dare you?
- 46:27Speaker 17: In town halls and on social media, data centers have
- 46:30Speaker 17: become vessels for other worries and fears of rising prices,
- 46:35Speaker 17: the power of the tech elite, congestion and crowding, and
- 46:39Speaker 17: a dawning AI era that threatens livelihoods and futures.
- 46:44Speaker 7: We are struggling to pay our bills.
- 46:47Speaker 17: In Loudoun County, Virginia, which has the world's highest concentration
- 46:51Speaker 17: of data centers, electricity bills have surged in the last year,
- 46:56Speaker 17: at least in part because of growing power demand.
- 46:59Speaker 16: We live in the desert.
- 47:00Speaker 17: We can't waste water.
- 47:02Speaker 10: They will waste water.
- 47:04Speaker 17: In Chandler, Arizona, residents worry about water being used to
- 47:08Speaker 17: cool data centers when the state already has a shrinking supply.
- 47:13Speaker 17: And in Red Oak, Texas, where Villegas lives... Construction workers'
- 47:18Speaker 17: cars clog the roads for miles before dawn. There, they
- 47:23Speaker 17: are concerned about all of these things, and they accuse
- 47:26Speaker 17: the city council of operating in secrecy.
- 47:30Speaker 7: And now you've been caught.
- 47:32Speaker 10: You've been caught making decisions without transparency.
- 47:37Speaker 16: Not one single person in that room was for the
- 47:41Speaker 16: data center.
- 47:42Speaker 5: All right, let's go from there.
- 47:43Speaker 6: So there were a bunch of different voices actually in
- 47:45Speaker 6: that piece, but it started with a black woman yelling,
- 47:48Speaker 6: how dare you? And then quite a few other people
- 47:50Speaker 6: in the room seem to be people that are from
- 47:53Speaker 6: the same community. And Wayne, you're talking about how important
- 47:56Speaker 6: that vote will be in this upcoming election.
- 47:58Speaker 8: Oh, look, the Democrats have already tried to start staking
- 48:00Speaker 8: ground for even 28 on that issue. This whole AI
- 48:05Speaker 8: thing playing on people's fears. Look, I do think that
- 48:13Speaker 8: we have to figure out a way to do this
- 48:16Speaker 8: without making electric bills go up, without sucking all this power.
- 48:23Speaker 8: If they're going to use water and power, the industries,
- 48:27Speaker 8: the AI folks, just like the petrochemical industry along the coast,
- 48:32Speaker 8: has to figure out that they've got to pay maybe
- 48:36Speaker 8: more than their fair share to compensate people. Look, I
- 48:41Speaker 8: understand why nobody wants to live near like a half
- 48:45Speaker 8: a mile long giant box in the middle of nowhere.
- 48:49Speaker 8: I'm not sure I buy that the traffic's all congested
- 48:52Speaker 8: on the farm road in the middle of anywhere. But
- 48:55Speaker 8: I think the power stuff and the water stuff is
- 48:59Speaker 8: a real problem.
- 49:00Speaker 7: I think electric bills are a real problem.
- 49:03Speaker 8: I think it's time to get nuclear power plants back
- 49:06Speaker 8: in so we could try to offset that.
- 49:10Speaker 4: But I.
- 49:12Speaker 7: Part of it is transparency.
- 49:14Speaker 8: People, they don't tell people. All of a sudden on
- 49:17Speaker 8: a Friday, you see an agenda come out. for a
- 49:20Speaker 8: Tuesday meeting where they're going to vote in like, you know,
- 49:23Speaker 8: dumb butt Texas. They're going to vote for a big
- 49:28Speaker 8: giant contract and a tax abatement. People don't like abating
- 49:32Speaker 8: taxes for companies because they think those people aren't also
- 49:38Speaker 8: investing their money. I mean, there's a lot of the
- 49:42Speaker 8: money doesn't like fly out of the sky, right? People
- 49:46Speaker 8: invest a lot of their own money and then they
- 49:50Speaker 8: want to the government to abate their taxes to make
- 49:54Speaker 8: it a better investment for them. Now that's a policy
- 49:58Speaker 8: choice that every city has to make. But as someone
- 50:01Speaker 8: who does a lot of economic development investigations, I understand it.
- 50:06Speaker 8: I understand that if I'm putting $ 30 million in and
- 50:09Speaker 8: I go to the city and I say, hey, I'd
- 50:11Speaker 8: like you to give me a couple of million back
- 50:13Speaker 8: in tax incentives. That may make sense, right? The number
- 50:17Speaker 8: of people employed. I wouldn't have said it the way
- 50:21Speaker 8: Trump said it about a bunch of dummies.
- 50:24Speaker 6: It's a good example because I do think that data
- 50:27Speaker 6: centers will be a unique focus within the Texas race
- 50:31Speaker 6: for Democrats because they can shape it very simplistically. This
- 50:35Speaker 6: thing that you don't want with, you know, sweetheart deals
- 50:39Speaker 6: being given to companies that don't need them will be
- 50:41Speaker 6: coming into all of these communities. And the Republicans are
- 50:45Speaker 6: rubber stamping this. And you need to be against it
- 50:48Speaker 6: and upset with it because it's going to damage or
- 50:50Speaker 6: ruin your community. I don't agree with that message, but
- 50:53Speaker 6: I understand how simplistically it can be, you know, pushed
- 50:58Speaker 6: to certain people to make them believe that that's true.
- 51:01Speaker 6: I think the reality of a data center, just very quickly,
- 51:03Speaker 6: because I know we only have a couple minutes. The
- 51:06Speaker 6: demand for this type of technology and this type of
- 51:09Speaker 6: capability of the Internet, or in this case, a lot
- 51:13Speaker 6: of AI to think they need these giant data centers
- 51:17Speaker 6: all throughout the country and all throughout the world in
- 51:19Speaker 6: order to think. And we want our AI to be
- 51:22Speaker 6: smarter than anyone else's AI. So it's really just building
- 51:26Speaker 6: a bigger brain is the right way to say it.
- 51:28Speaker 6: And that message isn't going to land with the American
- 51:31Speaker 6: people the way it should right now, because a lot
- 51:33Speaker 6: of Americans don't don't.
- 51:35Speaker 5: Grasp that concept.
- 51:37Speaker 6: They go to whatever their version of social media is
- 51:39Speaker 6: or their version of just Google or maybe it's AI,
- 51:43Speaker 6: ask it a question, get an answer. And they don't
- 51:45Speaker 6: think about the depth to which that needs to have a.
- 51:49Speaker 5: Infrastructure to work.
- 51:51Speaker 6: And even more important than that, the risk of allowing
- 51:54Speaker 6: China to be way ahead of us in that department
- 51:57Speaker 6: from a military standpoint, because they can use technology to
- 52:02Speaker 6: harm us if they have.
- 52:04Speaker 7: Much more than us.
- 52:05Speaker 8: Do you think China would care if some black lady
- 52:08Speaker 8: got up in Red Oak, Texas to complain?
- 52:12Speaker 7: Or Red Oak, China, right? This was Red Oak.
- 52:14Speaker 8: China, and some black lady got up and said, I
- 52:19Speaker 8: don't like being lied to by the communist government, right?
- 52:22Speaker 8: You think they would care one second? You think that
- 52:26Speaker 8: lady would not disappear?
- 52:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. She would disappear. All right. I absolutely,
- 52:31Speaker 5: absolutely think she'd be gone tomorrow. And that's the point.
- 52:33Speaker 6: And I do think if the message changes, if if
- 52:36Speaker 6: Republicans say the reason for the data centers, which they've
- 52:39Speaker 6: they've been saying it, but they haven't been doing it
- 52:41Speaker 6: in a way that makes sense to people that don't
- 52:43Speaker 6: comprehend this at all.
- 52:45Speaker 5: I think you need to change.
- 52:46Speaker 6: We need the United States needs the biggest brain, the
- 52:50Speaker 6: biggest artificial intelligence brain that it can possibly get.
- 52:53Speaker 5: And go ahead. What are you going to say?
- 52:54Speaker 8: I was going to say, you said that they need
- 52:56Speaker 8: the biggest brain. I wasn't paying attention. I just heard
- 53:00Speaker 8: biggest brain.
- 53:00Speaker 5: And you said it was you.
- 53:01Speaker 7: I raised my hand.
- 53:03Speaker 5: OK, well, that's you.
- 53:03Speaker 6: No, but we need the biggest artificial brain that we
- 53:06Speaker 6: can build and we need data centers to do that.
- 53:08Speaker 6: So it's an inevitability that it happens. And so how
- 53:12Speaker 6: we sell that. But Democrats will do it, too. Like,
- 53:15Speaker 6: I guess my other point is they can say they
- 53:17Speaker 6: hate it now. They won't hate it when they're in office,
- 53:20Speaker 6: just like Tallarico and his pastor is saying he'll flip
- 53:23Speaker 6: flop on a bunch of other stuff. They will profoundly
- 53:26Speaker 6: change their position on this. if they get in power,
- 53:29Speaker 6: because we can't not do it.
- 53:31Speaker 5: We have to do it.
- 53:33Speaker 8: Yeah, but you remember Obama and that minister, the one
- 53:36Speaker 8: that would say, you know, the one that was cussing
- 53:38Speaker 8: America by 9-11?
- 53:40Speaker 7: I forget his name. It was a while ago.
- 53:44Speaker 8: But people knew that, and they still didn't care that much.
- 53:50Speaker 8: I'm just afraid that we may be in another one
- 53:54Speaker 8: of those elections.
- 53:55Speaker 5: No, you're talking about Jeremiah Wright.
- 53:57Speaker 7: That's who it was, Jeremiah Wright.
- 53:58Speaker 6: Yes, I think we are in one of those elections
- 54:00Speaker 6: because they see who's in power and blaming anything on
- 54:03Speaker 6: the group in power is much more effective than defending it.
- 54:07Speaker 6: But I think that's where your point, and we'll get
- 54:08Speaker 6: to this in the second hour because I know we're
- 54:10Speaker 6: up on a break. Your point about owning mistakes and
- 54:12Speaker 6: giving new solutions to them is something that should be
- 54:15Speaker 6: part of the Republican message.
- 54:17Speaker 5: Quick break.
- 54:18Speaker 6: A lot coming up. This is KSV Mornings. I'm Greg Colonnades.
- 54:21Speaker 5: He's Wayne Dolcefino on The Voice of Texas.
