- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven to ten.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Wr Kin from Mark Today, here's Ken Rosanna and it's
- 0:08Speaker 1: so good to be with you that day before Thanksgiving
- 0:10Speaker 1: and our friend here, Billy Prempa is an Air Force
- 0:13Speaker 1: veteran who is running for Congress in New Jersey's ninth
- 0:16Speaker 1: congressional district, which includes the city of Patterson, a heavily
- 0:20Speaker 1: Hispanic district which voted for President Trump. The New Jersey
- 0:24Speaker 1: State Senate recently introduced a bill that would make it
- 0:27Speaker 1: illegal illegal for ice agents to wear masks when doing
- 0:31Speaker 1: their work. It would be punishable by a fine of
- 0:34Speaker 1: up to one thousand dollars in time behind bars. So
- 0:37Speaker 1: we say good morning to Billy Prempa. What do you
- 0:39Speaker 1: think about the nuttiness of the New Jersey State Senate.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I mean, I think you nailed it right there. It's
- 0:45Speaker 2: straight up nuttiness. I mean, I think Democratic Party is
- 0:48Speaker 2: trying to find any opportunity to obstruct what President Trump
- 0:51Speaker 2: is trying to do in this country. The people want
- 0:54Speaker 2: safer streets. We want to have these people out of
- 0:56Speaker 2: our country. And the truth is that working as an
- 0:58Speaker 2: ice agent, it's a very difficult job. It could be
- 1:00Speaker 2: very dangerous, even puts you at a risk. And I
- 1:03Speaker 2: think that's having someone arrested and put in jail and
- 1:06Speaker 2: find it only solely done to try and disincentivize our
- 1:10Speaker 2: ice atas from getting their work done. But it only
- 1:13Speaker 2: empowers a criminal at the end of the day.
- 1:15Speaker 1: You know, Billy, I thought the Democrats were the party
- 1:17Speaker 1: that loved masks about it exactly, But they are saying
- 1:23Speaker 1: there would be an exemption to medical masks or to
- 1:26Speaker 1: masks that are see through, like the face shields. So
- 1:29Speaker 1: here's what I would do if I was the head
- 1:31Speaker 1: of ICE in the region, I would say, well, these
- 1:33Speaker 1: are medical masks. They're medically required because every one of
- 1:36Speaker 1: our agents was exposed to a substance at work, so
- 1:38Speaker 1: they have to wear medical masks. I mean, technically there's
- 1:41Speaker 1: vagueness in the way the law is written, but I
- 1:44Speaker 1: mean it's unenforceable nonetheless, because right the supremacy Clause of
- 1:48Speaker 1: the Constitution says state and local laws cannot be enacted
- 1:53Speaker 1: that would supersede federal laws.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and and and that's the issue that that I
- 2:01Speaker 2: think that are the Democratic Party is doing here is
- 2:04Speaker 2: the rules for the rules, not for me. Kind of
- 2:06Speaker 2: scenario when the pandemic was going on, they all weren't
- 2:10Speaker 2: favored for it, But now when people are trying to
- 2:13Speaker 2: do their job, they're completely against it. And the issue
- 2:16Speaker 2: is that you also bring up a very valid point,
- 2:18Speaker 2: is like we don't know who's coming in, what they have,
- 2:21Speaker 2: or what the situation may be. I'll think it's more
- 2:23Speaker 2: different than police officers even covering their face when they're
- 2:26Speaker 2: entering certain circumstances. We don't know what they may have,
- 2:30Speaker 2: I mean. And the frustrating thing is is a lot
- 2:32Speaker 2: of the drugs that are coming into this country, pensanl particularly,
- 2:36Speaker 2: it only takes a very small amount to hurt you
- 2:39Speaker 2: and affect you. And I think that the safety and
- 2:41Speaker 2: the well being of our ice officers is paramount, especially
- 2:44Speaker 2: when we don't know who we're dealing with.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Look, the Democrat Party of the United States is responsible
- 2:50Speaker 1: for the greatest trafficking of individual humans in history. Think
- 2:55Speaker 1: about the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of kids
- 2:59Speaker 1: miners who were sex trafficked and permitted to have that
- 3:03Speaker 1: done to them. Literally, with the blessing of the Biden administration,
- 3:07Speaker 1: we lost track of hundreds of thousands of kids. They
- 3:10Speaker 1: came in, they went to sponsor family sponsor families that
- 3:13Speaker 1: weren't veted. In some cases, you had families literally who
- 3:16Speaker 1: received three hundred kids and then there was no follow
- 3:19Speaker 1: up done. You had phone numbers. And this is not
- 3:22Speaker 1: my opinion, this isn't rumor. This is in a congressional hearing.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You had an agent of the federal government under the
- 3:29Speaker 1: Biden administration saying that there was an eight hundred number
- 3:33Speaker 1: given to these miners when they got to their homes,
- 3:36Speaker 1: they're homes of their sponsors in the United States, and
- 3:39Speaker 1: they were told if there's a problem, if you're stress,
- 3:42Speaker 1: if there's an issue, if you're being abused, call this number.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And apparently only one human being was assigned to answer
- 3:48Speaker 1: that call, and some fifty thousand plus calls came in
- 3:51Speaker 1: and went unanswered. That is disgusting. Where is the prosecution
- 3:56Speaker 1: of these individuals.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Well, I think they're I think they're complicit into human trafficking.
- 4:02Speaker 2: And it's interesting that you mentioned that because in twenty
- 4:04Speaker 2: twenty one, when I went over to the southern border,
- 4:06Speaker 2: we were able to speak with some of the migrants
- 4:08Speaker 2: that were crossing over, and this was something that I've
- 4:11Speaker 2: heard frequently that if you had any issue, you'd reach
- 4:15Speaker 2: out to the government, but it's like once you cross
- 4:16Speaker 2: the border and you get into the United States, they
- 4:18Speaker 2: don't care anymore. I think that was more of a
- 4:20Speaker 2: virtue signal to make the nation believe that something was
- 4:25Speaker 2: being done on their behalf and their benefit. But I
- 4:27Speaker 2: think once they got inside, nobody really cared. It just
- 4:30Speaker 2: became our problem at the end of the day.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and I don't know about you. I'm sure you
- 4:33Speaker 1: probably feel similar to me on this one. The conflation
- 4:38Speaker 1: by Democrats of illegal migrants and migrants, there is a difference.
- 4:44Speaker 1: There are so many millions of people in this country
- 4:47Speaker 1: who migrated here legally, and then you have illegal migrants.
- 4:50Speaker 1: There is a difference. It's like you inviting somebody into
- 4:53Speaker 1: your house for dinner or somebody burglarizing your house in
- 4:56Speaker 1: the middle of the night. Yes, they're both at your house.
- 4:59Speaker 1: One was in in one was not. What is so
- 5:02Speaker 1: hard to understand? Do they think we're all stupid? And
- 5:05Speaker 1: as the grandchild of migrants who came legally, I am
- 5:09Speaker 1: so highly offended when I hear that conflation, and I'm
- 5:12Speaker 1: sure many legal migrants.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Are, Yeah, including myself. I mean, both of my parents
- 5:17Speaker 2: immigrated here from Ghana legally nineteen eighty four. They also
- 5:20Speaker 2: brought fourteen other relatives into the country, each and every
- 5:23Speaker 2: one of them swearing as an American citizen, taking the
- 5:26Speaker 2: oath and doing it the right way. So when I
- 5:28Speaker 2: see when I see people on the left claiming that
- 5:32Speaker 2: no one is illegal and everyone is legal, and they
- 5:35Speaker 2: all have claims that it's a country, it's not just
- 5:37Speaker 2: a flap in the face to mine, but it's a
- 5:38Speaker 2: slap in the face and my parents and all those
- 5:40Speaker 2: who have spent the money, who've invested, who pay their taxes,
- 5:43Speaker 2: who have done it the right way to happily become
- 5:45Speaker 2: an American citizen. And the fact that there's people that
- 5:48Speaker 2: want to hop the border or overstay their visas and
- 5:50Speaker 2: then take advantage of our nation, and we have a
- 5:52Speaker 2: party that's supposed to be representing the American people representing
- 5:55Speaker 2: them on the other side. It's ridiculous, and I think
- 5:58Speaker 2: it's a pretty much trus treason is man.
- 6:01Speaker 1: You nailed at seven to ten wo r The Voice
- 6:04Speaker 1: of New York Henrisatto Win from Mark on the Wednesday
- 6:06Speaker 1: before Thanksgiving with Billy Prepp. But who, by the way,
- 6:09Speaker 1: is an Air Force veteran running for Congress in New
- 6:11Speaker 1: Jersey's ninth congressional district. So look at that. You were
- 6:14Speaker 1: the child of immigrants, and you are. You've became a
- 6:18Speaker 1: member of our military to be to show your pride
- 6:22Speaker 1: in America. And it's funny, my parents same situation. My
- 6:26Speaker 1: grandparents came from Italy. My father comes from a family
- 6:29Speaker 1: of nine boys, and I believe eight of the nine,
- 6:31Speaker 1: including my dad, we're all in the military. I mean,
- 6:34Speaker 1: it's just it's that pride of being American. But what's
- 6:37Speaker 1: said is you see too many people by the third, fourth,
- 6:40Speaker 1: fifth generation, they sort of get so used to being
- 6:42Speaker 1: American that they lose the sense of how special it is.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Absolutely and I don't want that to ever be lost.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I think that's something that America is starting to lose
- 6:53Speaker 2: because of that conflation between migrants and immigrants and illegals
- 6:58Speaker 2: and actual citizens. And I think a lot of that
- 7:00Speaker 2: as being done at person. It's done on purpose to
- 7:03Speaker 2: try and destroy the fabric of our nation. So it's
- 7:05Speaker 2: up to us to do what's right. I support ICE,
- 7:08Speaker 2: and I believe that all of our citizens should support Ice,
- 7:10Speaker 2: and we need to put America first above all, not
- 7:12Speaker 2: the means of others.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now, I'd like to see if this bill makes it
- 7:15Speaker 1: through the Assembly and then gets to either the current governor,
- 7:18Speaker 1: Governor Murphy or Governor Mikey in January. Like to see
- 7:22Speaker 1: if it gets to their desks, if they sign it
- 7:24Speaker 1: into law. Would New Jersey State Police arrest US federal agents?
- 7:29Speaker 1: And then what would happen because the federal relations could
- 7:32Speaker 1: turn around and arrest in the New Jersey State Police
- 7:34Speaker 1: for doing that, right, I mean, that's interfering with the
- 7:36Speaker 1: federal officer.
- 7:37Speaker 2: It's just about to get in and I was watching
- 7:40Speaker 2: not too long ago that she was voting an idea
- 7:42Speaker 2: to not paid federal taxes to the federal government. So
- 7:44Speaker 2: I can only see the situation getting worse before it
- 7:47Speaker 2: actually gets good. But who knows. I mean, similar to
- 7:49Speaker 2: how President Trump was able to get mob Donnie to
- 7:52Speaker 2: the table, and it seems like they've been able to
- 7:53Speaker 2: make some sense of what can be done for the
- 7:55Speaker 2: betterment of the people of New York. I'm hoping that
- 7:58Speaker 2: Mikey Cheryl is just talking rhetoric right now, she actually
- 8:00Speaker 2: realizes the responsibility that she has and tries to do
- 8:04Speaker 2: the right thing. I won't hold my breath, but I
- 8:06Speaker 2: really hope so.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Hey, Billy, just the funny thing again. Democrat hypocrisy. Here
- 8:10Speaker 1: she her argument. Mikey. Cheryl's argument was New Jersey is
- 8:13Speaker 1: paying more money to the federal government than it gets back. Well,
- 8:17Speaker 1: how about the same argument democrats use with take the
- 8:20Speaker 1: rich and make the rich pay more taxes for what
- 8:22Speaker 1: it's redistribution of wealth. Same thing with the states. Sometimes
- 8:25Speaker 1: New Jersey will be making more money and having to
- 8:28Speaker 1: pay more money to the federal government. Sometimes it'll be
- 8:30Speaker 1: on the recipient. And it all depends. As New Jersey
- 8:33Speaker 1: continues to lose population to Southern states, there will be
- 8:36Speaker 1: a point when Florida will be paying more income taxes
- 8:38Speaker 1: than New Jersey to the federal government and New Jersey
- 8:41Speaker 1: will be on the recipient end. That's the way it works.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But I love how Democrats love it when it's taxed
- 8:45Speaker 1: the rich, but when it comes to tax the rich, state, No,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and then you can't do that. Now we got to
- 8:50Speaker 1: get more money back. I'd like to see Mikey if
- 8:52Speaker 1: she tries to do that, she'll be hauled off in cuffs.
- 8:55Speaker 1: That would be quite interesting to see. But I'm not
- 8:57Speaker 1: saying that one way or the other. Billy tell us once again,
- 9:01Speaker 1: tell us your website how they can find out more
- 9:03Speaker 1: about your campaign and if they want to make a.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Donation, they can follow me on social media. Just go
- 9:08Speaker 2: to Billy premp Ed b I L Y p r E,
- 9:10Speaker 2: m p e H or Billy Prempeed dot com to
- 9:13Speaker 2: visit my website, my policies. If you had to volunteer, donate,
- 9:16Speaker 2: get on board because we got a big mission to
- 9:17Speaker 2: do with twenty twenty six. Everyone across the state of
- 9:19Speaker 2: New Jersey look forward to supporting you and representing you
- 9:22Speaker 2: in Washington, DC come twenty twenty six.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, especially to counter the I see that the person
- 9:27Speaker 1: who may be running in Mikey Cheryl's old congressional seat
- 9:31Speaker 1: is a Bernie Sanders person. So somebody ultra ultra ultra left.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So we need to counter that with a Billy Preppa
- 9:38Speaker 1: in congress Air Force, Yes, Air Force veteran running for
- 9:42Speaker 1: Congress New Jersey's ninth congressional district during the upcoming midterm elections.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Happy Thanksgiving, my friend, Billy Preppa, thank you for coming
- 9:49Speaker 1: on this morning.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Take care you bet.
