- 1:00Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't even have orange. I don't think
- 1:04Speaker 1: if you told me I had to wear some orange,
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'd have to wear my Waterburger sweater.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 5: What's funny is I have that bright orange post Malone hoodie.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Remember that I got on the show here, But.
- 1:13Speaker 2: That's post Malone. It's not Taylor Swift.
- 1:15Speaker 5: But it's still orange, so I might rocket tomorrow.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Let's see you're shopping.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Today, yeah, or get something orange either way, Cannis, how
- 1:20Speaker 4: are you?
- 1:20Speaker 5: Yeah? I'm good.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I had a big fomo last night.
- 1:23Speaker 5: We like last minute, went out to eat dinner because
- 1:25Speaker 5: we realized we had a gift card that our neighbor
- 1:27Speaker 5: gave us.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Eric did something to help him.
- 1:30Speaker 5: I don't know what it did, help carry something or
- 1:32Speaker 5: unload something something at their house.
- 1:33Speaker 2: That gave us a gift card.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Right, we forgot about it, went out and we're sitting
- 1:36Speaker 5: at dinner and like, rights, we're about to pay the check.
- 1:38Speaker 2: The girl comes by and she's.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Like, are you guys playing Bingo?
- 1:41Speaker 2: And I was like what. He's like, Yeah, Bingo's gonna.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Be going on until nine thirty and I was like, oh,
- 1:46Speaker 5: we're like just about to leave, Like when is it
- 1:49Speaker 5: going to start?
- 1:49Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:49Speaker 2: Was it going to start for like thirty minutes?
- 1:52Speaker 5: And I had such fomo because everyone was so high
- 1:54Speaker 5: for this bingo game.
- 1:55Speaker 2: She's passing out the cards I want to I like
- 1:59Speaker 2: being I do too, And I was like, is this real.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Nerdy of me that I want to play Bingo? Am
- 2:04Speaker 5: I showing my age?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:05Speaker 5: Here it is? But it seems so fun.
- 2:08Speaker 1: It's a natural progression as you get older as a woman,
- 2:10Speaker 1: you automatically want a dabber and you just want to
- 2:12Speaker 1: play bingo. Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 5: I felt so bad though, I'm like, can I please
- 2:18Speaker 5: do this on.
- 2:18Speaker 2: A night I don't have work?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Have you seen the adult bingo tours? There's like this
- 2:23Speaker 1: adult bingo tour. They did it at a Texas.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Live like really a couple months ago.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Really fun where.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I mean, it's a whole tour that goes around and
- 2:31Speaker 1: they bring you on stage and there's like a DJ,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and it's like it's a party. Wow, and I guess
- 2:38Speaker 1: you play bingo. But every time they do it, I
- 2:40Speaker 1: never see anybody playing bingo. I just see him raging.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it looks so fun, And so I
- 2:45Speaker 5: was bummed he didn't know what bingo was. Well, he
- 2:47Speaker 5: did because they played at school their version of it.
- 2:50Speaker 5: But I was so hype and then so sad that
- 2:52Speaker 5: I couldn't stay long enough to play.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I just had an idea, should we do a boozy
- 2:55Speaker 1: bingo party? Yes, wouldn't that be fun?
- 2:58Speaker 2: I want to do that? Or in Uno tournament?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Okay, we should have to. We should have one day
- 3:03Speaker 4: coming up soon.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Maybe around the holidays, we just invite people and we
- 3:06Speaker 1: just do a boozy bingo park. Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Maybe they could bring a toy for our toy drive
- 3:11Speaker 5: this holiday season and then get in the game and we'll.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Have a ton of stuff to give away.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I like it.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I think we just came up.
- 3:17Speaker 2: We hope our bosses listening. She's creating a play us.
- 3:20Speaker 4: I know she's already got action plans. That's awesome. All right,
- 3:27Speaker 4: producer is here.
- 3:28Speaker 1: What's up?
- 3:29Speaker 7: Yesterday I had to take my little man, Paul, he's twelve,
- 3:31Speaker 7: had take him out to eat because we got some
- 3:33Speaker 7: depressing news.
- 3:34Speaker 1: He has a concussion. Oh no, yeah, and.
- 3:37Speaker 7: He's gonna be out of football for about two and
- 3:39Speaker 7: a half weeks.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yeah that sucks.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Yeah, he's good though.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, let's go some burgers that'll turn
- 3:47Speaker 1: you up. And he was like, okay, Dad, poor kid,
- 3:50Speaker 1: where did you go for burgers?
- 3:52Speaker 7: So Scottie pea, Scottie peace. Yeah, I hadn't been there
- 3:55Speaker 7: in a long time. There can they got to. I
- 3:58Speaker 7: had to always get the turkey burger.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You do.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Yeah, there's when.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Because they got a good turn.
- 4:04Speaker 7: I'm healthy, Yeah, healthy, don't mind the cheese fries on
- 4:09Speaker 7: the side. I was gonna say, turkey burger, the turkey
- 4:13Speaker 7: burger really, yeah, I love it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, he's in Garland fire with You know what I
- 4:18Speaker 1: had the other day. I'm telling you hop Dotty.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Oh they're so good.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Truffle fries and hop Dotty and I had after I
- 4:26Speaker 1: walked to the fair because I felt like I deserve that.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yes, you do.
- 4:30Speaker 1: So I had some hop Dotty fries, truffle fries and
- 4:33Speaker 1: their Wago smash burger.
- 4:35Speaker 6: It.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Yeah, is where it's at right now?
- 4:38Speaker 4: Yourself, fat kid, heaven.
- 4:41Speaker 5: You did deserve it, though you probably burned how many calories?
- 4:44Speaker 2: What did your phone say?
- 4:45Speaker 1: I don't know. I did thirty one thousand steps, so
- 4:48Speaker 1: probably a couple thousand calories you could.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Have deserved too, Yeah, the cold one.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I did have some Bluebelt ice cream. Yeah, yeah, there,
- 4:56Speaker 1: you know. I'm sorry. I had caramel cone Hoggin DAWs
- 4:59Speaker 1: ice cream, which is the bass. Oh you never had
- 5:02Speaker 1: the caramel cone? No, you know the caramel cones that
- 5:04Speaker 1: you get like those. It tastes it's all mixed up
- 5:07Speaker 1: and it tastes like that. So it's a drumstick, all
- 5:09Speaker 1: grounded up and no, yes, boy with the program Big
- 5:14Speaker 1: Back Show right now. Yeah, we're kicking off the show
- 5:18Speaker 1: right now. It's a new mix one O two.
- 5:19Speaker 8: Point nine, your new home of Philly the Kid in
- 5:22Speaker 8: the Morning's.
- 5:23Speaker 9: Texas Tough Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid
- 5:26Speaker 9: in the Morning.
- 5:27Speaker 8: Only on the new Mix one O two point nine.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's gonna be nice dating, little too warm for me,
- 5:32Speaker 1: right say, ninety and sunny and I'm like, I want
- 5:35Speaker 1: fall vibes. But either way, canislow pez, It's gonna be
- 5:37Speaker 1: a good day. What you got going on over there?
- 5:39Speaker 5: Well, Amazon just debuted a new grocery brand for cost
- 5:42Speaker 5: conscious shoppers. Most items are selling for under five dollars.
- 5:46Speaker 5: This new private label brand is called Amazon Grocery. It'll
- 5:49Speaker 5: include more than a thousand items, everything for meat and
- 5:52Speaker 5: fresh produce to snacks and dairy. It was just last
- 5:55Speaker 5: month though they expanded same day delivery of fresh foods
- 5:59Speaker 5: to more places. They're really trying to encourage people to
- 6:02Speaker 5: add meat and eggs to their orders, so they're gradually
- 6:05Speaker 5: going to add more options to this.
- 6:06Speaker 2: But I think it's just a sign of the times.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Yeah, under five dollars items though, I mean, this is
- 6:10Speaker 5: going to help a lot of people out.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Oh I love that. I'm all about off brand, especially
- 6:14Speaker 1: after I've read this big story on it. So do
- 6:17Speaker 1: you know, like, for example, Kirkland is the Costco brand. Yeah, right,
- 6:22Speaker 1: guess who makes Kirkland coffee?
- 6:24Speaker 2: Uh?
- 6:24Speaker 4: Who Starbucks?
- 6:26Speaker 5: They do?
- 6:27Speaker 4: Yes, I just read this.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So if you're buying Kirkland coffee and you're like, well,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna go off brand I want to save some money.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Of course, Kirkland and Costco don't produce their own coffee.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Yeah. That's so interesting because I was at Sally Beauty,
- 6:40Speaker 5: the supply store the other day, and I was looking
- 6:42Speaker 5: for a hairspray and I was like, do you guys
- 6:44Speaker 5: have Kenra It's the number six or whatever this dry
- 6:46Speaker 5: texture spray was. And she was like, no, we don't
- 6:48Speaker 5: tell that, but we have our brand and it's literally
- 6:50Speaker 5: the same ingredients.
- 6:51Speaker 2: They make it the same.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Place and it just had like a white label and
- 6:54Speaker 5: they fancy.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they make it same things. And that's the same
- 6:58Speaker 1: thing with a lot of other stuff is off brand.
- 7:00Speaker 1: They just pay the big manufacturers to make it at
- 7:03Speaker 1: a huge cost, and that's why it's normally next to
- 7:06Speaker 1: the brand that made it. Oh, so it doesn't take
- 7:08Speaker 1: away from their products. So like you'll see Starbucks coffee
- 7:11Speaker 1: and Kirkland coffee next to each other. Yeah, because they
- 7:14Speaker 1: don't want to take away from them. Okay, so it's
- 7:16Speaker 1: pretty much the same thing. You're just buying it for cheaper.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Wow.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Yeah, so there you go, all right off brand it
- 7:21Speaker 5: is guys, Listen to this new study. It says a
- 7:24Speaker 5: lot of young singles are giving up on dating. So
- 7:27Speaker 5: this isn't because they're tired of apps or because they're
- 7:30Speaker 5: getting ghosted. But how expensive dating is? The new study
- 7:35Speaker 5: says nearly half of young singles are going on less
- 7:37Speaker 5: dates and over a third are cutting back on dating altogether.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I get it. Dates are not cheap.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you go on I think if you're single and
- 7:46Speaker 1: you go out a few times a week.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it's expensive.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:50Speaker 5: This is interesting though, because it also says there's a
- 7:53Speaker 5: good amount of singles who are also saying they would
- 7:56Speaker 5: rush things just to move in together faster, to save money,
- 7:59Speaker 5: save money. Yeah, and men are much more likely to
- 8:01Speaker 5: want to speed things up and even get married sooner
- 8:04Speaker 5: because of this.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah why not? So it's just expensive? Yeah, somebody wants
- 8:10Speaker 1: chick for life, especially when you do real hungry women.
- 8:16Speaker 2: They're all hungry. Trust me.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It's not cheap for him though.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yeah, ask us if we want your fries or not. Yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 2: for sure.
- 8:23Speaker 5: We're ready for tonight, guys. Five hundred Target stores will
- 8:27Speaker 5: open at midnight for the release of Taylor Swift's The
- 8:29Speaker 5: Life of a Show Girl. So if you want to
- 8:32Speaker 5: see the locations, you can check Target's website to see
- 8:35Speaker 5: who has special store hours. But here in the Metroplex,
- 8:38Speaker 5: I'll just give you a preview. It's the location on
- 8:40Speaker 5: Hash School in Dallas City View and Fort Worth, Ditton
- 8:44Speaker 5: on South Loop two eighty eight, Flower Mound, Frisco North,
- 8:47Speaker 5: and rock Wall. Okay, so people are planning like big
- 8:50Speaker 5: parties at these times.
- 8:51Speaker 8: I know.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I think it's going to be a fun event.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I can't wait to watch it online tomorrow morning because
- 8:56Speaker 5: I won't be there.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I know it is kind of cool though.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I know some people hate this stuff, but I'm seeing
- 9:00Speaker 1: people get excited about stupid things.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Yeah I do too. I don't care what it is
- 9:04Speaker 5: if you're passionate about it. But Target's actually going to
- 9:07Speaker 5: be selling the three exclusive CD editions along with the
- 9:10Speaker 5: standard edition and then they have a bunch of variations
- 9:12Speaker 5: of the vinyl. You can't only buy four per person.
- 9:16Speaker 5: And by the way, there's this fan theory that's going
- 9:19Speaker 5: around that Taylor Swift could show up at ACL this weekend.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Stop it's week one weekend one of it. You know,
- 9:25Speaker 5: Sabrina Carpenter is the headliner Saturday night. And they're saying
- 9:29Speaker 5: this because you know, Taylor released that quote unquote calendar
- 9:32Speaker 5: of events online it's Saturday. Yeah, it says stand by.
- 9:37Speaker 5: My thought was that she could be on SNL because
- 9:39Speaker 5: she's going to be in New.
- 9:40Speaker 2: York for this big release.
- 9:42Speaker 5: But you know, bad Bunny and Doja Cat are already
- 9:45Speaker 5: on SNL.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But oh, she could.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Totally pop by.
- 9:48Speaker 5: But that's why this fan theory is going around that
- 9:50Speaker 5: she could be in Austin this weekend.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be an SNL thing. Yeah,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I get it, But why would she She hasn't done
- 9:58Speaker 1: ACL in years?
- 9:59Speaker 4: No, I mean it's been years.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I saw her down in Austin. She
- 10:04Speaker 5: performed at Circuit of the America's for the Formula One
- 10:06Speaker 5: race and that was a long time ago.
- 10:09Speaker 2: But I mean, who knows.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I mean you never know what Taylor, I mean, can
- 10:13Speaker 1: she save it for weekend number two?
- 10:14Speaker 4: Because that's when we're gonna be there.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Should be so mad if she shows up there there yet,
- 10:19Speaker 5: I don't think it's gonna happen.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Yeah, but I don't either, But I mean, you never know.
- 10:23Speaker 1: She's listen, she's the master at promoting and marketing and
- 10:26Speaker 1: showing up places and getting people talking, So it could
- 10:30Speaker 1: happen for sure.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We'll keep you posted, guys. I'm Kanna Slopez. Those are
- 10:33Speaker 2: your Texas top stories?
- 10:34Speaker 4: Are you ready?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Real or fake news? I give you three headlines. You
- 10:37Speaker 1: got to pick which one is fake? And this is
- 10:39Speaker 1: just a fun way to talk about some weird stuff
- 10:42Speaker 1: going on in the world, just random headlines. And there's
- 10:44Speaker 1: a couple of random ones today, Canaslopez? You're ready?
- 10:47Speaker 2: You're ready?
- 10:47Speaker 1: Who you ready? Yes?
- 10:48Speaker 3: Sir?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Headline number one employers adding toilets with a slant to
- 10:54Speaker 1: them to make them unbearable to sit on for over
- 10:58Speaker 1: five minutes? What employers are adding toilets with a slant
- 11:03Speaker 1: to them to make them unbearable to sit on for
- 11:05Speaker 1: over five minutes? Oh? How interesting is that?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:10Speaker 4: So a toilet that you slide off of them.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I'm thinking, which way is it slanted?
- 11:15Speaker 4: Backwards?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Would be comfy? You know? If it's backwards, I'd be like,
- 11:19Speaker 1: all right, it's almost like a recliner. Yeah, all right,
- 11:22Speaker 1: that's headline number one. Headline number two. Man arrested for
- 11:26Speaker 1: stealing a police horse in Denver. Man arrested for stealing
- 11:32Speaker 1: a police horse in Denver.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Headline number two. Headline number three.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Newlywed couple in India divorcing because their pets don't get along.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Come newlywed couple in India divorcing because they're pets don't
- 11:48Speaker 1: get along.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Three headlines.
- 11:50Speaker 1: One of them is a fake story that I completely
- 11:52Speaker 1: made up straight up out of my head. Which one
- 11:56Speaker 1: is the fake story? Cannislopez? Would you like to go first?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Or would you like to take this and pass the
- 12:00Speaker 1: responsibility on too, Pooh?
- 12:01Speaker 5: I'll pass it to Pooh since that one yesterday?
- 12:03Speaker 10: Right?
- 12:05Speaker 2: Yes, you do you go first?
- 12:07Speaker 1: She's like, did I win? Yes?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I just make it sure because there might be an
- 12:10Speaker 2: advantage to going first.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think you're right, okay, fair, I'm like that, yeah, Pooh,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with that first story. Then toilets at
- 12:18Speaker 1: a slant. I don't blanet toilets. Yeah, why would that happen?
- 12:22Speaker 1: Because I'll tell you why, because we have employees like pooh,
- 12:27Speaker 1: then we'll go in and make his second office toilet
- 12:32Speaker 1: in there. Yeah exactly.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Okay, you want to lock that in, Yeah, lock me in.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It's locked in, Candislopez, which one do you think is
- 12:40Speaker 1: the fake story?
- 12:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with the second story.
- 12:43Speaker 5: I don't know it's still in the police horse.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't think that's possible.
- 12:47Speaker 5: I mean it could be lock it in, but I
- 12:51Speaker 5: just don't think it is lock it in.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Okay, she's having some hesitation.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but don't because you are correct, Candies, you were correct.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I made that story up. Nobody stole a police horse
- 13:04Speaker 1: in Denver, not that I don't and just you know, yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 1: although I will say sometimes I'll make up a fake story, yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 1: and then somebody will send me a link of where
- 13:14Speaker 1: it actually happened. At one point, so I'm like, oh,
- 13:17Speaker 1: like the other day, somebody was saying that there was
- 13:19Speaker 1: I said there was a narcotic smelling horse, like a horse,
- 13:23Speaker 1: a drug sniffing horse.
- 13:24Speaker 4: And then somebody sent me a story about a cop.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Who told a suspect that his horse was drug sniffing,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and the guy took off running no, even though the
- 13:34Speaker 1: cop was just totally lying. So sometimes you know, I
- 13:37Speaker 1: don't know, it's just maybe it's a seed planted in
- 13:39Speaker 1: my head that I don't.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Know about it. But that is a fake story. The
- 13:42Speaker 4: real stories.
- 13:44Speaker 1: This is funny because there's employers that are actually doing
- 13:47Speaker 1: this where they are making toilets unbearable to employees, and
- 13:52Speaker 1: they're making the toilet slanted so you slide off. It's
- 13:55Speaker 1: a thirteen degree forward tilt. Yeah, so forward, making it
- 14:01Speaker 1: so uncomfortable to sit on that workers won't want to
- 14:03Speaker 1: stay longer than five minutes. This is to discourage extended
- 14:06Speaker 1: bathroom breaks and boost productivity. Critics argue it's both unhealthy
- 14:11Speaker 1: and inhumane, placing profit above basic comfort. The design called
- 14:16Speaker 1: standard Toilet has already been pitched to offices, train stations,
- 14:19Speaker 1: and even shopping centers where people get too comfy on
- 14:22Speaker 1: the toilets.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Well, there you go.
- 14:25Speaker 5: I just looked it up.
- 14:25Speaker 2: It's not slanted that much.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Oh, it's slanted enough where it doesn't look thirteen degrees.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, look, your feet are hanging off,
- 14:32Speaker 1: and I'm looking at the picture too, and it looks
- 14:34Speaker 1: like you would just.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Slide right down, you know. Pretty funny, Yeah, pretty funny.
- 14:39Speaker 1: But also but I mean there's always that one employee
- 14:41Speaker 1: that disappears.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Four bathroom break for way way too long, for sure.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I mean they'll just stand in there. I mean, it's
- 14:47Speaker 2: not going to stop them.
- 14:48Speaker 5: If you want to hang out in the stall, you'll
- 14:50Speaker 5: do it.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Like we have a guy. Uh, maybe I shouldn't say this.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Sometimes we're live and I feel like I'm talking to
- 14:56Speaker 1: my family right.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Now, so sometimes I everyone else's.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, forget, like we're on the radio. But anyway, we
- 15:03Speaker 1: have a guy.
- 15:05Speaker 4: We have a guy. No, he's not here this early,
- 15:08Speaker 4: but he works here.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And I know you can't as you would know this
- 15:11Speaker 1: because you don't go on the men's bathroom. He goes
- 15:14Speaker 1: into the bathroom and he goes into the stall, but
- 15:20Speaker 1: he undresses when he goes to the bathroom, so you'll
- 15:23Speaker 1: see his clothes hanging over. Yeah why, I don't know.
- 15:27Speaker 1: That's just how he does his business. Yeah, he got
- 15:29Speaker 1: to get way comfortable.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Yeah you do, Oh wow, yeah you do.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And you'll never look at the set. He has to
- 15:38Speaker 1: get completely I've never asked him. But he has to
- 15:40Speaker 1: get completely unclothed to go to the bathroom and he's
- 15:45Speaker 1: in this room. No, I'm just kidding whatever, all right?
- 15:49Speaker 1: Newlywed couple The other story, newlywed couple in India divorcing
- 15:53Speaker 1: because their pets.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Don't get along.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Like A young couple in India is getting divorced because
- 15:57Speaker 1: their pets don't get along. The couple originally bonded over
- 16:00Speaker 1: the love they have for their animals, got married in December.
- 16:02Speaker 1: After moving in together, problems started when the wife's cat
- 16:06Speaker 1: and the husband's dog couldn't live peacefully. The wife says
- 16:10Speaker 1: her husband's dog harassed and attacked her cat. The husband
- 16:13Speaker 1: claims that he told her before marriage not to bring
- 16:16Speaker 1: her pets and that her cat would hover over the
- 16:20Speaker 1: fish tank and harassed the fish, which upset him, creating
- 16:24Speaker 1: tension in the house for the dog, the fish, and
- 16:27Speaker 1: the cat.
- 16:28Speaker 8: Like.
- 16:28Speaker 1: The woman refused to give up her cat and the
- 16:30Speaker 1: husband defended his dog. They went to counseling several times,
- 16:34Speaker 1: even brought in pet experts, but nothing helped. Now they're
- 16:38Speaker 1: getting divorced citing irreconcilable differences with their pets.
- 16:46Speaker 8: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I'm the new mix one on two point nine and
- 16:52Speaker 1: good morning. It's failing the kid candy slow pants producer. Pooh,
- 16:55Speaker 1: it's Thursday, Thursday, It's like Friday eve. I feel like
- 16:59Speaker 1: this is a long week. I say that every week.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Whatever you give me. Nice today like ninety and sunny,
- 17:04Speaker 1: little too warm for my liking, But same thing tomorrow,
- 17:07Speaker 1: pretty much nice all weekend to just giving you a
- 17:09Speaker 1: heads up. All right, if you have a secret, you
- 17:10Speaker 1: let us know anytime you want. Eight three three seven,
- 17:13Speaker 1: eight seven one or two nine, Okay, you confess what
- 17:17Speaker 1: is up?
- 17:17Speaker 5: Oh man?
- 17:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I really do feel thrift. It awful for this. Okay.
- 17:22Speaker 6: So I'm a teacher and I have been for many years.
- 17:25Speaker 6: I love my students, but I feel super guilty for
- 17:30Speaker 6: something I did a few years ago. So okay, I'm
- 17:33Speaker 6: not gonna tell you what great I teach.
- 17:35Speaker 8: But I'm an.
- 17:36Speaker 6: Elementary food teacher. Okay. And so you know, we always
- 17:39Speaker 6: try to have parties and fun stuff for the kids
- 17:43Speaker 6: to do, you know, to you know, enjoy their game
- 17:47Speaker 6: better and stuff. But all of that costs money.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and I feel like the I feel like the
- 17:52Speaker 1: kids nowadays get parties for everything.
- 17:55Speaker 6: Yea twice everything you win Mode twenty participation parties, you know,
- 18:01Speaker 6: like you just showed up parties.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You know you've been on money to your teachers or
- 18:06Speaker 1: to the room mom twice.
- 18:12Speaker 6: Character great, the parents are great, and they all, like
- 18:15Speaker 6: you know, agreed, and they would chip in and do
- 18:17Speaker 6: whatever they could, you know, to make it good for everybody.
- 18:20Speaker 6: And honestly, they did more than enough, like they all gave,
- 18:25Speaker 6: and it was we had more than what we needed.
- 18:27Speaker 6: But this is my secret. Okay. So the thing is,
- 18:31Speaker 6: because we had a surplus at the time, I took
- 18:35Speaker 6: some of the money and used to pers some bills.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Oh my god, oh my god.
- 18:39Speaker 9: I know.
- 18:42Speaker 6: But it was such a rough rough time. I know,
- 18:45Speaker 6: I was going through a hard so what to cut
- 18:48Speaker 6: the lightetof all? Right, okay, you know, and I had
- 18:51Speaker 6: unexpected medical bills and things like that, and I was
- 18:54Speaker 6: just overwhelmed. And yeah, that's my secret. But listen, I
- 19:00Speaker 6: paid it back when I could, you know, I did.
- 19:02Speaker 6: I did pay it back, but it took a while
- 19:05Speaker 6: to pay it back. I mean, it was only one hundred,
- 19:07Speaker 6: it was only a few hundred dollars, you know, but
- 19:10Speaker 6: still I feel awful about it. But but listen, listen,
- 19:13Speaker 6: the kids never went without like they still had everything,
- 19:16Speaker 6: and the parties were great, like no one ever knew different.
- 19:20Speaker 6: But it's just been on my soul, it's just.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Been on my right well, I mean a couple hundred
- 19:25Speaker 1: so they would the parents. Let me get this right,
- 19:27Speaker 1: So the parents were venmo use money the room imb
- 19:29Speaker 1: or whatever. You guys would get together. Then you'd be
- 19:31Speaker 1: in charge of getting the stuff, and you took it
- 19:33Speaker 1: to pay some bills. Yes, one time, one time.
- 19:36Speaker 4: You didn't do it more than one time. No, are
- 19:39Speaker 4: you sure?
- 19:39Speaker 6: I promised it was just the one time I just
- 19:43Speaker 6: needed to pay. It was like three hundred bucks. I
- 19:45Speaker 6: just needed to pay my life. They weren't to cut
- 19:48Speaker 6: my life.
- 19:48Speaker 7: That's a lot, you know, Hey, girl, you keep your
- 19:51Speaker 7: lights on twenty four to seven.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Also, what kind of parties are y'all having?
- 19:57Speaker 1: And I also assume that's money for the year. You
- 19:59Speaker 1: know that peop I have been dumping in so well yeah, yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: this is a non judgment zone. Obviously, it's not something
- 20:05Speaker 1: you're proud of, and you're not calling up because your
- 20:07Speaker 1: hype about it and you're like, look at what I did.
- 20:09Speaker 4: But yeah, but you never did it again, And.
- 20:12Speaker 6: Again I did. I did pay it back, you know,
- 20:15Speaker 6: and I would bring in extra things and spend the money,
- 20:18Speaker 6: you know, on the kids and do other stuff once
- 20:21Speaker 6: things got a little better. But I mean, I just,
- 20:24Speaker 6: you know, it's one of those things I have never
- 20:26Speaker 6: told anybody before because I mean, you know, it's something
- 20:31Speaker 6: you know. Again, I'm not proud about it, but you know,
- 20:33Speaker 6: it's I had to do it at the time. But
- 20:36Speaker 6: I'm lucky, you know. But I didn't affect the parties
- 20:39Speaker 6: or the kids.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Yeah, well you learn from it, and you know, sometimes
- 20:45Speaker 1: desperate times called for desperate measures. I've seen Pooh steal
- 20:48Speaker 1: toilet paper from the toilet from the bathroom here, I've
- 20:52Speaker 1: taken home a paper towel roll before. Yeah, I mean,
- 20:54Speaker 1: you know, I never stole from kids, man, But that's okay.
- 20:58Speaker 2: We all have a different She borrowed it.
- 21:01Speaker 1: She borrowed it.
- 21:02Speaker 5: They still got what they needed.
- 21:03Speaker 2: And you're a great teacher.
- 21:04Speaker 4: I mean liked loan.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I love my kids and I love their parents,
- 21:09Speaker 6: and I appreciated it. But I mean, listen, it was
- 21:11Speaker 6: more than what we needed. Okay, Like, if we didn't
- 21:14Speaker 6: have enough money, I would have probably tried to find
- 21:18Speaker 6: another way, but we were way over.
- 21:20Speaker 4: So you paid all of it back.
- 21:22Speaker 6: You said, I paid all of it back, every dollar.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Nice.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Good.
- 21:27Speaker 5: If I knew one of Zo's teachers were in this
- 21:29Speaker 5: position too, I'd be like, go for it. But yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 5: if she's just going to pay it back before they
- 21:35Speaker 5: need to spend it on the.
- 21:36Speaker 4: School, I don't know about that.
- 21:38Speaker 2: You know, well his teachers, what would I do?
- 21:41Speaker 1: I mean, I'd be like, listen, I have some candles.
- 21:43Speaker 1: When they show your lights off, I'll just you can. No,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I would help out if I could. I
- 21:50Speaker 1: wouldn't as long as I know, but I wouldn't. I
- 21:52Speaker 1: wouldn't be happy if I found this out before she
- 21:54Speaker 1: paid it back. But you did, so it doesn't matter,
- 21:56Speaker 1: and you ended up doing the right thing.
- 21:58Speaker 6: And I haven't done it since because you know, things
- 22:00Speaker 6: got better and uh so, you know, I just want
- 22:04Speaker 6: to get it off my chip.
- 22:05Speaker 7: This is my well.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'm glad you did. Thank you for your confession and
- 22:08Speaker 1: your secret, and I still think you're a great person.
- 22:11Speaker 1: We love our teachers, and I'm glad you paid it
- 22:13Speaker 1: back and and thank you for opening up to us.
- 22:15Speaker 6: Okay, I appreciate it. Thank you, guys, You're welcome.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Thank stealing from the kids. She borrowed, She borrowed, she borrowed.
- 22:23Speaker 1: It's still stealing. It's stealing when you first do it.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Can I borrow that twenty days hanging out your purse? Yeah? True,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I saw I saw through one time steal from some
- 22:32Speaker 1: girl scouts.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Yes, I never.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I saw him steal from a nun one time. And
- 22:40Speaker 1: now they passed the money around at church.
- 22:43Speaker 4: He takes some out and that's.
- 22:45Speaker 1: What he does.
- 22:46Speaker 7: No, you did not when when I was little girl,
- 22:49Speaker 7: I did one time.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I got spanked for it too. You took money out
- 22:52Speaker 4: of the because it was a ritual.
- 22:57Speaker 7: After church, my mom we go to tom Thumb and
- 23:00Speaker 7: I wanted some kids, some jolly ransheres.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I was like six or seven.
- 23:04Speaker 7: I saw that Troney coming around. Hold on, see yeah,
- 23:07Speaker 7: I go ahead about a good five. I know where
- 23:09Speaker 7: you're going.
- 23:10Speaker 1: No, it's not up there. You got a spirit flight
- 23:14Speaker 1: straight down south.
- 23:16Speaker 8: Your new home of Philly the Kid in the Morning Texas.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Top stories on the Tents with Philly the Kid in
- 23:21Speaker 1: the Morning.
- 23:22Speaker 8: Only on the New Mix one two point nine.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Speaking about that prize, that's a lot because you get
- 23:27Speaker 1: two wristbands to weekend number two.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Sabrina carpent is gonna be there. Plus we got your hotel.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Then we're gonna give you one hundred dollars gas gift
- 23:33Speaker 1: card to get down there.
- 23:34Speaker 4: That's a lot.
- 23:35Speaker 5: Yeah, you can stop it BUCkies on this yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Stop yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I saw somebody from the north call it Boosy's the
- 23:42Speaker 1: other day and I got so angry. They were like,
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop at this place called Boosy and.
- 23:48Speaker 4: I was like, you stop it right now.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna get one of those meat sandwiches. Oh
- 23:54Speaker 1: it's called brisket. Yes, the booty is the brisket anyway,
- 23:58Speaker 1: canna slowpez what's going on?
- 24:00Speaker 5: Dozens of parents and coppel isd are begging the school
- 24:03Speaker 5: district to vote, know or pause their decision to permanently
- 24:06Speaker 5: close an elementary school there. The district says it needs
- 24:08Speaker 5: to cut costs, but parents say their school is being
- 24:11Speaker 5: unfairly targeted. That school is Town Center Elementary. Now. The
- 24:15Speaker 5: district says they're trying to help with an eight point
- 24:17Speaker 5: five million dollar budget deficit, but the parents say they
- 24:21Speaker 5: want more studies done about this possible closure. This one
- 24:25Speaker 5: was only announced as a possibility about two weeks ago.
- 24:27Speaker 2: But they had a.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Walk and ride to school yesterday, which I've never seen
- 24:31Speaker 5: this done before, where they basically just say, ride your bike,
- 24:34Speaker 5: walk to school so that we can show, like, you know, visually,
- 24:37Speaker 5: how many people are against this, but some of them
- 24:40Speaker 5: were holding up signs outside the school yesterday. But closing
- 24:43Speaker 5: this school, they say, would say one point four million
- 24:46Speaker 5: dollars a year. They are going to have a board
- 24:49Speaker 5: meeting on Monday night, and I feel like this is
- 24:51Speaker 5: just the same story over and over over the last
- 24:53Speaker 5: few years.
- 24:54Speaker 1: And then like where do these kids go? Yeah, I
- 24:56Speaker 1: know they go to a neighboring school, but then those
- 24:59Speaker 1: neighboring schools are yeah, and then the teachers are overwhelmed,
- 25:02Speaker 1: and it just doesn't seem fair to the teachers.
- 25:04Speaker 4: And I think it is.
- 25:05Speaker 5: That's sad.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I'd have been so sad if my elementary school just closed,
- 25:09Speaker 1: right devastation.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Sure. I mean they closed another one last year, Pinkerton
- 25:13Speaker 5: Elementary School. So I'm sure a lot of parents will
- 25:16Speaker 5: be showing up Monday night to support their school again.
- 25:19Speaker 5: I'll keep you posted and you guys, remember a while
- 25:21Speaker 5: back we.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Heard that hack about how to get a.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Human operator when you're on a customer service call. Well,
- 25:27Speaker 5: that one said, like you mentioned, drop the F bomb,
- 25:30Speaker 5: that'll get you a human. We tried that out right.
- 25:33Speaker 1: We called someone and I screamed that word and nothing happened.
- 25:39Speaker 2: It was very entertaining.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It was Fun Airlines or something I think I called
- 25:42Speaker 1: American Airlines.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Yeah, you just called to hear the whole music, that's
- 25:45Speaker 5: what you were doing.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yeah, that's exactly what I did.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Here's the real advice on this though. They're saying that
- 25:50Speaker 5: you should ask for a supervisor, but phrase it like this,
- 25:53Speaker 5: say you'd like to.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Speak to someone who can solve my problem. Oh, solve
- 25:58Speaker 2: my problem. Is what they're saying is the keyword is
- 26:01Speaker 2: now to get.
- 26:01Speaker 1: A human You know, if you get somebody on the phone,
- 26:04Speaker 1: a representative, and I say, hey, I would like somebody
- 26:06Speaker 1: to solve my problem, they're gonna be like, well, yeah,
- 26:08Speaker 1: I'm on the phone. I'm trying. They're not gonna be like, oh,
- 26:11Speaker 1: well let me transfer you because I'm incompetent.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Well, I mean, if it's like an AI.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Bought or whatever.
- 26:16Speaker 5: But they're also saying, if you press zero a lot
- 26:18Speaker 5: to the these menus kind of default to a live person,
- 26:21Speaker 5: which I've tried that before. Just go right to zero
- 26:24Speaker 5: when the met when the things.
- 26:25Speaker 1: They're catching on to that because I used to do
- 26:27Speaker 1: the same thing, and now now they're just like, it
- 26:29Speaker 1: just restarts the message, the whole thing, and then you
- 26:32Speaker 1: got to listen to it again.
- 26:33Speaker 6: Now.
- 26:34Speaker 5: The other thing they're saying is just don't say anything.
- 26:36Speaker 5: So if you don't respond, many systems will time out.
- 26:39Speaker 5: They say, it'll connect you to a human or just
- 26:42Speaker 5: call during you know, off peak hours.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I'm saying everything. I'm screaming. I hate when I'm on hold.
- 26:46Speaker 4: This is my thing.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I hate when I'm on hold and all of a
- 26:48Speaker 1: sudden you hear something pick up, oh yeah, and you're like, oh,
- 26:51Speaker 1: here we go, and then.
- 26:52Speaker 4: They're like, you are still on hold, and.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Trust me, I know.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:57Speaker 4: I think maybe we should call somebody next and see
- 26:59Speaker 4: if that works.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Yeah, let's try it real quick, guys. The internet has
- 27:03Speaker 5: gone to work after Selena Gomez's wedding last weekend to
- 27:06Speaker 5: Benny Blanco looks like her former best friend. Remember, well,
- 27:10Speaker 5: how do you say her name? Francia?
- 27:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I think so.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Well, she's the one.
- 27:14Speaker 5: That donated the kidney to Selena Gomez. Remember I think
- 27:17Speaker 5: it was like twenty seventeen. Well, the internet has found
- 27:20Speaker 5: out she was not there. I guess they're about one
- 27:22Speaker 5: hundred and seventy guests there. They figured this out based
- 27:26Speaker 5: on her Instagram post that she was at a birthday
- 27:29Speaker 5: party for her co star from The George Lopez Show.
- 27:32Speaker 5: But apparently the two of them had a falling out
- 27:34Speaker 5: after she donated that kidney to Selena. They stopped speaking
- 27:38Speaker 5: because she said Selena continued to make unhealthy choices on
- 27:42Speaker 5: her one good kidney.
- 27:45Speaker 2: But the Internet is wild.
- 27:46Speaker 5: How they like figure this stuff out and go to
- 27:49Speaker 5: you know, to town researching these things.
- 27:51Speaker 1: No, I mean, but that was pretty well known that
- 27:54Speaker 1: she was not happy that Selena was still doing things
- 27:56Speaker 1: that were unhealthy, and she was.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Like, I gave you my kidney, right, take care.
- 28:00Speaker 2: You promised to be good to it.
- 28:01Speaker 1: But then they came out and said that they were
- 28:03Speaker 1: still friends and they were close. But I think that
- 28:06Speaker 1: was just pr I don't think they really are anymore,
- 28:08Speaker 1: which is sad. If I give somebody a kidney, we
- 28:10Speaker 1: better be connected for life. And if I'm not invited
- 28:13Speaker 1: to your wedding after I give you a kidney, I
- 28:16Speaker 1: better be one of your bridesmaids.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, because if it wasn't for.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Me, you wouldn't be getting married.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Yeah, where are you gonna have it?
- 28:23Speaker 1: Where's your kidney? Right?
- 28:24Speaker 4: Give me my kidney back? I'm gonna need that back.
- 28:29Speaker 4: No take backs. No, I didn't say no take backs.
- 28:31Speaker 4: My fingers are crossed.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm sull right. I'm Candaslopez.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Those are your Texas top stories on the new mix
- 28:37Speaker 5: one of two point nine.
- 28:39Speaker 8: All right, he's done for Candace Court. It gets settled
- 28:43Speaker 8: here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 28:45Speaker 1: All rise for the honible Judge Cannaslopez. It's in a
- 28:48Speaker 1: mixed one of two point nine. A baility kid. Candas
- 28:50Speaker 1: is here. She's residing on her bench. She's got her gabble.
- 28:53Speaker 1: And if you don't think she has a gamble, she
- 28:54Speaker 1: really does. Oh yeah serious, Sure she's thrown it at
- 28:57Speaker 1: us before she gets angry.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Break my lap.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Be careful, don't do that. All right, producer, who is here?
- 29:03Speaker 1: And let's do a Candace Court. If you have somebody
- 29:05Speaker 1: you want to take to candas Court. I don't care
- 29:06Speaker 1: what the problem is. Bring it at Candace on Air
- 29:09Speaker 1: on Instagram, at Candace on Air. This is a good
- 29:12Speaker 1: one because I think it's very relatable. I think a
- 29:14Speaker 1: lot of couples fight over this. I'm gonna keep it anonymous.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I won't see her name, but she wrote it in
- 29:17Speaker 1: and she said, what do you do when your boyfriend
- 29:20Speaker 1: would rather look at social media than look or listen
- 29:23Speaker 1: to you?
- 29:24Speaker 2: Oh?
- 29:25Speaker 1: Also, when do you when you speak? He says he
- 29:28Speaker 1: can hear you and says you mumble? What I mumble?
- 29:33Speaker 1: Six times? Question Mark question Mark question Mark. Nah, dude,
- 29:36Speaker 1: it's been a year, Like, WTF, I'm sorry, but I
- 29:40Speaker 1: need to take him to Candace Court.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Wow, this one is nice and simple and she's got
- 29:45Speaker 4: an issue. What do you do? Because it's one of
- 29:47Speaker 4: those things where.
- 29:48Speaker 1: You're like, well, he's not the worst guy in the world.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Right, but you can't hear me.
- 29:53Speaker 4: But I'm feeling neglected.
- 29:55Speaker 1: This is one of those things where people starting to
- 29:58Speaker 1: get in these petty fights and they bubble into bigger fights.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Yeah, it's deeper than that, yes, but on the surface,
- 30:05Speaker 5: it feels like he's just on his phone.
- 30:07Speaker 1: It's snowballs. But I mean, I mean, lately, have you
- 30:10Speaker 1: seen like I'll go to dinner and I'll see couples
- 30:12Speaker 1: out that never look at each other, Yeah.
- 30:15Speaker 4: On their phones.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I mean I was sitting next to a couple at
- 30:18Speaker 1: a bar this is a couple of weeks ago, watching
- 30:21Speaker 1: the game, and it was a guy and a girl.
- 30:23Speaker 1: And the guy never looked up. He was on his phone.
- 30:27Speaker 1: She's just sitting there, not on her phone. She's trying
- 30:29Speaker 1: to say a couple of things to him. He was
- 30:31Speaker 1: like not paying attention, short answers, and I thought to myself, like,
- 30:35Speaker 1: what is happening.
- 30:36Speaker 5: Yeah, Like Eric and I were at lunch the other
- 30:38Speaker 5: day and like he I was on my phone because
- 30:40Speaker 5: I was doing stuff or whatever, and then he came
- 30:42Speaker 5: in and then got an email he needed to respond to.
- 30:44Speaker 5: And sometimes I felt awkward if we're both like working
- 30:46Speaker 5: on our phone at the same time, because I'm like,
- 30:48Speaker 5: are people looking at us? Like you looked at that couple.
- 30:51Speaker 5: But it's so hard to know what people are doing
- 30:53Speaker 5: on their phone.
- 30:53Speaker 2: But this is a real problem for sure. Like in general,
- 30:56Speaker 2: that is a good.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Point, Like sometimes you're right that you don't know the
- 30:59Speaker 1: dynamic and that.
- 31:01Speaker 5: Couple could be the happiest couple on earth, right, Like,
- 31:03Speaker 5: even our promotions director here put a side out on
- 31:06Speaker 5: her office and says, I'm I promise I'm working just
- 31:09Speaker 5: because I'm on my phone.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah. Just people walk by and Amanda is on
- 31:12Speaker 1: her phone that works here, and she's probably like, they
- 31:14Speaker 1: think I'm goofing around, but I'm working.
- 31:15Speaker 4: I'm on like doing stuff.
- 31:16Speaker 2: On my phone totally.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Which but if you're in a relationship, and I even
- 31:20Speaker 1: think about this sometimes when I'm with my son or
- 31:22Speaker 1: something and we're both like, hey, let's go out to eat.
- 31:24Speaker 1: We got to eat, And then I look at each other,
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm like, we're on our phones. Put your phone down? Yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 1: like stop, put it away, let's figure this out now.
- 31:31Speaker 1: It sounds like he's frustrated, so he's like, oh, well,
- 31:35Speaker 1: I can't hear you anyway. Yeah, And maybe she's kind
- 31:38Speaker 1: of saying things under her breath. Yeah, I'm just imagining
- 31:41Speaker 1: when you're already frustrated, you do things to annoy the
- 31:44Speaker 1: other person. So maybe she's like, well, I guess it
- 31:46Speaker 1: doesn't matter what I say anyway, And he's.
- 31:48Speaker 4: Like, what what did you say?
- 31:50Speaker 1: I can't hear your mumbling. Oh, I'm mumbling, Well, you're
- 31:52Speaker 1: not paying attention anyway, right.
- 31:54Speaker 5: You're scrolling social media now if he is literally just
- 31:56Speaker 5: scrolling social media and it has nothing to do with work,
- 31:58Speaker 5: because I'll scroll social media for work, you know, because
- 32:01Speaker 5: that's part of our job.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Now.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Is that part of every job?
- 32:04Speaker 5: I don't know. Yeah, but you've heard about the ten
- 32:08Speaker 5: minute role that went viral recently.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I heard about something about this on taketik.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I think this is smart.
- 32:13Speaker 5: It says, every day you and your partner just take
- 32:15Speaker 5: ten minutes to give each other your undivided attention. No phones, distractions,
- 32:20Speaker 5: just listen. So one person gets ten minutes to share,
- 32:23Speaker 5: like whatever's on their mind, and then you switch.
- 32:25Speaker 2: And I generally tell my husband.
- 32:27Speaker 5: This so we can practice this because it's hard when
- 32:29Speaker 5: you have kids and all these things are going on
- 32:31Speaker 5: and the phones are dinging.
- 32:33Speaker 1: So you get ten minutes each each. Okay, that's not
- 32:36Speaker 1: a if you can't spend ten minutes with someone.
- 32:38Speaker 2: If you have to, you have to make a conscious
- 32:40Speaker 2: effort to do that. Do you really, yes, And you
- 32:43Speaker 2: have kids.
- 32:43Speaker 5: Running around and things going on in your life for
- 32:45Speaker 5: practice and works not you know, still going.
- 32:47Speaker 1: On that seems smart, Like nothing ten minutes I feel like.
- 32:51Speaker 1: I mean, every time I've been in a relationship, I
- 32:53Speaker 1: have no problem spending ten minutes with the person.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Yeah, you have no.
- 32:56Speaker 5: Problem if you set aside the time and make it
- 32:58Speaker 5: an effort. But we just get lost in all of
- 33:00Speaker 5: our things. We got to do the dishes of laundry
- 33:02Speaker 5: and someone's at the door. Practice it closed. I mean,
- 33:06Speaker 5: it's a lot.
- 33:06Speaker 2: It all adds up.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I wonder if people already practice this rule, Like do
- 33:09Speaker 1: you know, do you and Eric have a rule that
- 33:11Speaker 1: you practice, Like we're gonna do this every night. We're
- 33:13Speaker 1: gonna spend time and we're gonna talk or whatever.
- 33:15Speaker 2: We don't have that.
- 33:16Speaker 5: Rule, but we should. It's also harder because I go
- 33:19Speaker 5: to bed, win Inso goes to bed.
- 33:20Speaker 2: So most parents have.
- 33:22Speaker 5: That, Like after the kids go to bed, we have
- 33:24Speaker 5: our time and we catch up and like we're trying
- 33:26Speaker 5: to do that in between, and it's you know, it's
- 33:28Speaker 5: a lot for parents.
- 33:29Speaker 1: True, we should we have a kid, honestly, we should
- 33:31Speaker 1: do that on the show. Okay, we should have the
- 33:33Speaker 1: ten men rule on the show. Yeah, or we all
- 33:35Speaker 1: just go around the room and we have ten minutes
- 33:37Speaker 1: to talk.
- 33:37Speaker 4: About whatever we want.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll start it with pooh pooh, what's on your.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Mind to say?
- 33:48Speaker 1: And I know usually my stories. We're in a relationship
- 33:51Speaker 1: right now. Ten min rule you go go? How you
- 33:55Speaker 1: being bade? Fine?
- 34:03Speaker 3: Girl?
- 34:03Speaker 4: We just saw each other. What's going on?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Why do you guys say it like that?
- 34:06Speaker 4: I missed you? Why are you starting to fight?
- 34:09Speaker 1: I'm not starting We're broken up? See that listed two seconds.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to give you your ten minutes to talk
- 34:20Speaker 1: about whatever you want. Don't ask me how I'm doing? Okay, Well,
- 34:23Speaker 1: I just want to know can I go out with
- 34:24Speaker 1: the boys?
- 34:25Speaker 4: See this is why you're single?
- 34:27Speaker 1: Yeah? Who wants three guys nights a week? His last relationship?
- 34:32Speaker 1: You'd be like out three nights a week?
- 34:34Speaker 2: Yeah, too much.
- 34:35Speaker 4: That's a whole nother canvas. Courda is? Canis? Do we
- 34:38Speaker 4: have a verdict?
- 34:38Speaker 1: Because I think we obviously know who's guilty here, or
- 34:41Speaker 1: who it seems like in.
- 34:42Speaker 5: My eyes might Yeah, this guy's guilty of being a
- 34:45Speaker 5: quality time Quincy.
- 34:47Speaker 2: You're giving you a QT to your phone, dude.
- 34:50Speaker 5: It sounds like her love language is quality time, not
- 34:54Speaker 5: QT with your phone.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Is that a love language? Quality time?
- 34:56Speaker 2: I think so time spent.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Yeah, time spent is a love language for every time.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I forgot to love language.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Brush up, it's tough, Okay, Yeah he's guilty being a.
- 35:06Speaker 2: One quality time Quincy.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Yeah, put your.
- 35:10Speaker 4: Phone, Broye. There you go, Candice Court.
- 35:14Speaker 8: Your new home of Philly the Kid in the morning.
- 35:16Speaker 1: You know, I always think about this sometimes I'm like,
- 35:18Speaker 1: I gotta mention that because I'll say, oh, call for
- 35:20Speaker 1: a dirty little secret, or call if you.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Have this car.
- 35:23Speaker 1: You can also just call about anything and say hi.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I mean we're in here, we're hanging out, so feel
- 35:29Speaker 1: free and Nick, how are you good? Doing good?
- 35:31Speaker 4: Billy?
- 35:32Speaker 11: I just wanted to say you, guys, I listened to
- 35:34Speaker 11: all while ago. I've been listening since I moved down here.
- 35:37Speaker 11: Love y'all, Love Candice. I grew up listening to Candids
- 35:39Speaker 11: back in the day.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Oh cool, and.
- 35:43Speaker 11: Back when she was at Disney.
- 35:44Speaker 6: So yeah, at that says my age.
- 35:51Speaker 4: No, you're still young.
- 35:52Speaker 11: I wanted to tell y'all, Thank y'all. I was listening
- 35:55Speaker 11: and getting my coffee when we're talking about are the
- 35:59Speaker 11: old people and my grandpa just passed three years ago,
- 36:02Speaker 11: and they were talking about drinking coffee and how you know,
- 36:06Speaker 11: the little fortune and stuff. And I grew up with him, uh.
- 36:10Speaker 10: Drinking coffee every morning, watching the prices. Right, y'll make
- 36:15Speaker 10: me cry, and it's it's funny.
- 36:17Speaker 11: I've lost him.
- 36:17Speaker 10: I lost him three years ago, and you know, I
- 36:19Speaker 10: didn't expect this morning to start bawling my eyes out.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Well I'm sorry, and that's that's sweet.
- 36:24Speaker 1: But I'm glad we could. You know, at least you
- 36:26Speaker 1: can have good memories and those fond memories because the
- 36:28Speaker 1: same thing.
- 36:29Speaker 10: Don't don't apologize, don't apologize to me. It's just it's
- 36:33Speaker 10: nothing but great memories. And I need did that this morning?
- 36:36Speaker 4: Oh good?
- 36:38Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, well just coffee. You do about four and
- 36:42Speaker 10: a half cups, yeah, maybe five, and we drink the
- 36:45Speaker 10: pot sol sol.
- 36:47Speaker 4: There was no more yeap, and it would always be
- 36:49Speaker 4: the pot.
- 36:49Speaker 1: They didn't have these silly machines now that they have Spress,
- 36:52Speaker 1: no express over the one cup.
- 36:54Speaker 5: You know, right before my grandpa passed that Christmas, he
- 36:57Speaker 5: really wanted a curate because he'd only done pots and
- 37:00Speaker 5: he thought that was like cool, high tech stuff.
- 37:02Speaker 2: And so we everybody.
- 37:04Speaker 5: Got in one right before his last Christmas, and he
- 37:06Speaker 5: had it.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yeah, It just makes me laugh too.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Yeah, because old people did not do that. They put
- 37:10Speaker 1: on the whole podcast life and it was fancy if
- 37:14Speaker 1: you had it going off with your alarm so it'd
- 37:16Speaker 1: automatically start brewing. That was fancy. Well, you know what,
- 37:22Speaker 1: fond memories of your grandparents, that's always too sweet. I
- 37:25Speaker 1: was thinking about mine because my grandma used to I'd
- 37:27Speaker 1: stay home sick with her and we watch Prices.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Right.
- 37:29Speaker 1: She made me that lippt in chicken noodle soup, no
- 37:32Speaker 1: whatever it was, but you know what I mean, that
- 37:34Speaker 1: comes in the pouch, had the artificial whatever.
- 37:37Speaker 4: Yeah, artificial everything.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Yeah, And then she watched her shows and I'd sit
- 37:41Speaker 1: there and watch him too, But I'd draw while sitting
- 37:43Speaker 1: next to her. And it was just like, you think
- 37:45Speaker 1: about those things, and you know, the worst I saw
- 37:48Speaker 1: a meme it said it the perfectly the other day.
- 37:50Speaker 1: The worst and the dumbest thing I've ever said in
- 37:52Speaker 1: my entire life was I can't wait to grow up,
- 37:56Speaker 1: because man, I could wait.
- 37:57Speaker 4: I could go back right now and be a kid.
- 38:00Speaker 4: It'd be the best.
- 38:01Speaker 11: Well, I just thought y'all that this morning.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'm glad you did, Nick, Thank you, really that means
- 38:06Speaker 1: a lot and have a great day. Okay, you guys
- 38:08Speaker 1: can cool? Is that?
- 38:09Speaker 4: How old do you feel?
- 38:10Speaker 1: Cannis? He grew up listening to you when you're on Disney.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Told them I was working the Disney radio.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Nickey Mouse Mafia.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I was thinking about my grandfather the other day though,
- 38:20Speaker 1: because I always used to lie. Every time I see
- 38:22Speaker 1: a box of cheese, it's I think of him because
- 38:26Speaker 1: I don't know what it was, but he hated to
- 38:27Speaker 1: admit when he was snacking.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Oh, I don't know why.
- 38:30Speaker 1: I'd be like, hey, Grandpa, I'd be a little bit older.
- 38:33Speaker 4: I'd be like, Grandpa, you are you eating some cheese?
- 38:35Speaker 1: It's like, no, I don't like those. No. And I'd
- 38:38Speaker 1: look and he'd have a trail. He'd put him in
- 38:39Speaker 1: his robe, the pocket of his robe, and he would
- 38:42Speaker 1: have a whole trail going from the kitchen to the recliner.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:46Speaker 1: And I'd see him and I'd be like, Grandpa, what
- 38:49Speaker 1: are those? I don't know what one of you kids
- 38:51Speaker 1: must have done that because I didn't.
- 38:53Speaker 4: I didn't do it.
- 38:53Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 38:54Speaker 5: My group are used to always tell my grandma the
- 38:56Speaker 5: kids said they wanted pizza tonight. Yeah, kend he said,
- 39:00Speaker 5: you wanted ice cream so you could get the foods.
- 39:02Speaker 1: You want it not but I want it. I don't
- 39:05Speaker 1: mean it.
- 39:05Speaker 4: No, the kids wanted it. Sweet memories. That's the best.
- 39:10Speaker 8: Your new home of Philly, the kid in the morning.
- 39:13Speaker 8: Good off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Welcome to dirty little secreting like a good dirty little
- 39:19Speaker 1: secret to get you going on a Thursday. Okay, it's
- 39:22Speaker 1: the new mix one or two point nine. Bail at a Kid,
- 39:24Speaker 1: Candice Slow, pet producer poo. And if you have a secret,
- 39:26Speaker 1: you let us know anytime you want eight three three
- 39:29Speaker 1: seven eight seven one o two nine, or you can
- 39:31Speaker 1: hit me up on Instagram.
- 39:31Speaker 4: We can set it up that way if you want.
- 39:33Speaker 1: At Billy on the Radio, At Billy on the Radio
- 39:36Speaker 1: and you got one, what's up?
- 39:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 39:38Speaker 9: So I love my wife. I feel like we have
- 39:41Speaker 9: a great relationship. I love her at deat Okay, we're
- 39:46Speaker 9: having our little issue here and there. Like we've been
- 39:49Speaker 9: married for seven years and recently though, I'm having kind
- 39:53Speaker 9: of some serious doubts about her feelings for me.
- 39:57Speaker 1: It's not good.
- 39:58Speaker 9: She has my past where it's to pretty much everything.
- 40:01Speaker 9: And the other day I was using her laptop because
- 40:06Speaker 9: I left mine at work and one of her browsers
- 40:10Speaker 9: was open to her ex boyfriend's Facebook page, which I
- 40:15Speaker 9: thought was pretty weird and it kind of made me uneasy.
- 40:20Speaker 9: So like, I mean, I guess my question is, you know,
- 40:24Speaker 9: is it normal to check up on a net like that?
- 40:29Speaker 2: Now?
- 40:29Speaker 9: I don't know whether it's worth, you know, bringing it
- 40:32Speaker 9: up or not. And I mean, do we need like
- 40:35Speaker 9: counseling on this now? Like how do I bring it up?
- 40:38Speaker 4: Is this normal?
- 40:39Speaker 9: Like I'm just super torn on like how I feel?
- 40:43Speaker 1: Okay?
- 40:43Speaker 9: Facebook, it's a tab open, you.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Know, we had one not long like this a dirty
- 40:48Speaker 1: little secret where a guy. This is interesting because the
- 40:50Speaker 1: guy was obsessed with his ex. Now you call and
- 40:54Speaker 1: you say, she's checking up on her ex. Well, at
- 40:56Speaker 1: least it looks like she might be checking up on him.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Is it normal to check up on an next I
- 41:01Speaker 1: think it's probably normal.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I think it is.
- 41:03Speaker 5: I don't think it's she didn't have social media, so
- 41:05Speaker 5: there's nothing to check up on, but he didn't know.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I don't think it's right.
- 41:09Speaker 5: It's not everyone snoops online, not snoops, but like brows
- 41:13Speaker 5: is social media to see what's up?
- 41:16Speaker 1: I don't think you have any reason to be worried
- 41:18Speaker 1: necessarily like she's doing something wrong.
- 41:20Speaker 4: I really don't now if.
- 41:21Speaker 1: She was doing this every day, if she's setting up
- 41:24Speaker 1: dates with him, if she's talking about yeah, but if
- 41:28Speaker 1: she's just casually checking up and left the browser open.
- 41:31Speaker 1: She obviously trusts you if you have you know passwords
- 41:34Speaker 1: and you guys are open, so I don't know if
- 41:37Speaker 1: she was hiding something. I feel like that she would
- 41:39Speaker 1: never let you let her laptop just stay around open.
- 41:43Speaker 2: And you know that's true.
- 41:44Speaker 5: It's weird that they would just be on his profile,
- 41:47Speaker 5: you know what I mean, like like close the window
- 41:49Speaker 5: or like move on to the homepaseer.
- 41:51Speaker 1: That's why I think it's weird. I'm like, dude, she
- 41:53Speaker 1: must be creeping or something. That's what it kind of
- 41:55Speaker 1: leads me to believe it's not a big deal because
- 41:57Speaker 1: she's like, oh, whatever, and then closes the laptop and
- 41:59Speaker 1: moves on with life.
- 42:00Speaker 5: It open and refreshes it every day. Come on, I'm
- 42:04Speaker 5: just through.
- 42:05Speaker 1: There's no way I couldn't bring it up. I'm gonna
- 42:07Speaker 1: be honest. Yeah, I'm not saying I would be very
- 42:10Speaker 1: careful how you do it? I wouldn't attack her or
- 42:12Speaker 1: like confront her, but I would just say something. You
- 42:15Speaker 1: can know, I would say something I'm not saying. I'd
- 42:18Speaker 1: confront her like hey, what are you doing? But I'd
- 42:20Speaker 1: be like, hey, I I open up your laptop the
- 42:23Speaker 1: other day and it was it was on so and
- 42:25Speaker 1: so's page, and just see what she says.
- 42:28Speaker 5: Okay, ask her if she talked to him, talking to
- 42:31Speaker 5: him or are you talking to him?
- 42:33Speaker 1: And I would make sure you're you're not doing in
- 42:35Speaker 1: an angry way. And I know that might be tough
- 42:37Speaker 1: because it would rub me the wrong way.
- 42:40Speaker 4: But you mean to.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Tell me, producer Pho, You've never crept on an ex
- 42:43Speaker 1: girlfriend's page when I'm in a relationship. No, you're a liar.
- 42:47Speaker 4: I haven't. You've never looked.
- 42:49Speaker 1: No when I'm in a relationship. No, when I'm not, yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 1: I look, I know, but it's not like.
- 42:58Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Doing that.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but no when I'm in a relationship, No, I
- 43:03Speaker 1: don't want to do that. I mean, I when I
- 43:04Speaker 1: was in a relationship, it's not like I was on
- 43:06Speaker 1: my ex's Facebook or Instagram all the time. But if
- 43:09Speaker 1: somebody you know a mutual friend or something tagged her.
- 43:12Speaker 1: I might be like, wow, what's going on? It wouldn't
- 43:14Speaker 1: It doesn't mean I care or like I'm invested or
- 43:17Speaker 1: I miss her.
- 43:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's human curiosity.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I know what people are doing.
- 43:21Speaker 5: I mean even people from like back in the day,
- 43:23Speaker 5: high school, stuff like that.
- 43:24Speaker 4: But you're not doing it in some weird way, or
- 43:26Speaker 4: just do it.
- 43:27Speaker 1: You're open about your stuff, you know, I'm not. When
- 43:30Speaker 1: you were in a relationship.
- 43:31Speaker 7: You let her know your passwords and stuff like, yeah,
- 43:34Speaker 7: I don't do that.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Well, why because that's shady, something that comes across weird.
- 43:41Speaker 5: I'm not like, what would be on your phone that
- 43:43Speaker 5: you wouldn't want her to see?
- 43:44Speaker 4: Exactly nothing?
- 43:45Speaker 1: But I just don't.
- 43:45Speaker 7: Why would I Why does she need to be all
- 43:47Speaker 7: in my phone? I don't want to be in her phone.
- 43:49Speaker 7: I don't care. That's her phone.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Ye, But if she happens to need to use your phone,
- 43:53Speaker 1: like that's how it happened with my ex. She's like, hey,

- 43:58Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, okay, here you know five five
- 44:00Speaker 1: five do big deal? And then she knew it and
- 44:03Speaker 1: I never changed it. Who cares?
- 44:05Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 44:06Speaker 1: Well, no, did I just see my password on.

- 44:20Speaker 9: Yeah no, I mean I I had no idea whether
