  Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.

  On a day after Super Bowl, February 9th, 2026,

  on a day after a very powerful sermon on Scout Sunday, which I'll air this week on our platform.

  I must share with you what I have gone through in the last 24 to 48 hours.

  Major headaches, major setbacks on a personal level, and uncertainty at times. What does this all mean?

  They say that your faith can be tested. They say that your faith is the most powerful thing.
• 1:58
  And what I preached yesterday was how faith is like building a campfire.
• 2:03
  Once you get that fire going, it would never go out.
• 2:07
  And I don't want to sit here and tell you that my faith has taken a dimmer approach or a dimmer light.

  What I will say is that dealing with the struggles that I've been dealing with on a personal level,

  on the level of being a father and bear witness to your daughter being bullied,
• 2:25
  it is a very difficult thing to encounter.
• 2:30
  And it's a lot to take in. As I preached yesterday, the sermon, I had a moment.
• 2:38
  Sometimes they tell you that when you have these moments, you should keep it to yourself.

  You should really hone in on what it is that you're feeling.
• 2:46
  But you know, many of you that know me and that know of me are going to notice
• 2:52
  a change in me, are going to notice something different about me.

  So I have to bring it up because I know I'm going to be asked questions.

  What's wrong? What's the matter?

  Are you okay? So I'm going to share it with you.

  Part of my sermon yesterday had nothing to do with Ariel.

  Matter of fact, none of it really did. I mean, I talked about one random act of kindness.

  I talked about doing what's best for your family.
• 3:22
  But all of a sudden, something had said to me, you need to talk about Ariel. So I did.
• 3:27
  I mentioned all that she's going through, all the changes that I'm seeing in
• 3:32
  her. None of them positive But none of them too negative But it's definitely changing her.

  And then I saw what it has done to me and how it's altering at times my personality, my patience.

  I shared with the congregation yesterday that as I'm becoming more in tune with
• 3:53
  my role as a future pastor, I can't escape the reality that I'm human.

  And as a papa, as a dad, as we say in Spanish, as papi, you cannot help but
• 4:09
  want to protect your children when they're hurting.

  But at the same token, we have to learn to forgive. We have to learn to pray.

  We have to learn to try to understand things from both point of views.

  And that's what I've been doing, soul searching, trying to figure out what to
• 4:28
  do next how to overcome the negative, how to overcome all the problems that are happening.

  Affected me so much that I'm exhausted, tired, and headaches won't stop.

  Last night, I had another headache. Last night, I had heartburn.
• 4:47
  I checked my sugars this morning. They were high.
• 4:51
  Stress is important to try to reduce.
• 4:56
  Now, I'm not asking for any of you And I'm not trying to make this as if I'm a victim.

  Because the victim really is my daughter. Victim really is those kids out there
• 5:06
  in the world that are being bullied.
• 5:08
  And the victims are also the bulliers who clearly have something going on in their life.

  What I don't understand, and I'm trying to understand, is where all of us in
• 5:21
  this world have got off on the wrong foot.
• 5:24
  Where all this negativity, this hatred, this pointing fingers.
• 5:30
  Continues to just get thicker and thicker.
• 5:35
  To the point where you almost feel like you can't breathe.
• 5:38
  How do we make this world a better place? And what can we do to make things better?
• 5:44
  That's my question this morning. That is my prayer.

  While some of us are holding up trophies like the Lombardi Trophy and some of
• 5:53
  us that are excited about what's happening on their team and those that are mourning their loss,
• 5:59
  there are people all over the world that are dealing with their own losses,
• 6:02
  their own negativities.
• 6:04
  I'm not trying to bring anybody down this morning by no means.
• 6:08
  Because as negative as things may be, I always find there's a solution.
• 6:13
  I always find that there's a way of hope and I know that God will provide.
• 6:18
  But as a person, as a father, it is very hard to battle and juggle all those things.
• 6:24
  As I rub my temple so this headache won't go away, I'm reminded that we pray
• 6:31
  together in one solemn prayer and leave it all at the footsteps of our Heavenly Father.

  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

  Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil.

  Yours is the kingdom, power, and the glory forever. Amen.

  Let's pray for all those people out there that are dealing with family problems,

  financial problems, bullying problems.

  Let's pray that we can get better at what we do.

  Let's pray that together, no matter what happens we can overcome all the negativity

  that's happening in our lives because God believes in you God trusts in you
• 7:24
  and God's never going to leave our side.

  I just wanted to share that with each and every one of you this morning may

  God be with you may he shine his light upon you and grant each and every single
