- 0:00Speaker 1: Blueleg Cap Show. We got a special guest in here
- 0:03Speaker 1: fresh with her Starbucks order. What is first of all,
- 0:05Speaker 1: sweetiest Here, ladies and gentlemen, sweetie welcome. What is your
- 0:09Speaker 1: go to order at Starbucks with two extra shots? Oh?
- 0:15Speaker 1: I like that. I've ever had Dutch Bros. You know,
- 0:18Speaker 1: I keep hearing about them. It's like a It's like
- 0:21Speaker 1: a It's like the Illuminati coffee. That ship is so fire.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Every time I see the spot, it's a line that's
- 0:29Speaker 1: hell along. I think that's why I haven't tried it yet. Yeah,
- 0:32Speaker 1: it's ridiculous. And then people are like really really happy there.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It's almost like annoying, Like you pull up and they're
- 0:37Speaker 1: like they just want to talk and I love coffees amazing.
- 0:41Speaker 1: So you got this. We're not going to call it
- 0:43Speaker 1: an EP. We got a nice playlist project. It's like
- 0:47Speaker 1: a six piece like a beer pack, you know, it's
- 0:50Speaker 1: a six pack of high end hard selters and or beers. Yeah.
- 0:57Speaker 1: The single life it is. By the way, the artwork
- 1:02Speaker 1: is fire. Thank you shout to. It reminded me of
- 1:05Speaker 1: like some like seventies or eighties like Vibe, Like I
- 1:09Speaker 1: would want to have it on like a like I
- 1:11Speaker 1: don want to hold that like on vinyl. Oh wow,
- 1:14Speaker 1: that makes sense, you know, like some like Stevie Wonder
- 1:16Speaker 1: type shit super vibe. Thank you? Why because obviously your
- 1:21Speaker 1: album's on the way and your fans are probably getting
- 1:24Speaker 1: a little impatient. So why why now? You know, it's
- 1:30Speaker 1: been a year and I've recorded Hella songs and I
- 1:36Speaker 1: just wanted to heat back up before I just put
- 1:38Speaker 1: my album out right, you know, and the album is
- 1:40Speaker 1: pretty bitch music. Yeah, it's the album and the movement.
- 1:44Speaker 1: The album and the movement get it right and get
- 1:47Speaker 1: it tight. And then's Icy is obviously the movement as well.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Uh huh yeah. So on this record, I listened to
- 1:55Speaker 1: the I mean it's six songs, so it's easy listen,
- 1:59Speaker 1: very you were. I feel like I was making a
- 2:01Speaker 1: statement on this motherfucker for real, Like if I just
- 2:03Speaker 1: felt like I felt like a bad bitch getting out
- 2:05Speaker 1: of my car. Really, I love that. That was my goal,
- 2:09Speaker 1: you know, like one thing I really wanted to tap into,
- 2:11Speaker 1: you know, growing up when I would listen to like
- 2:13Speaker 1: Trina Kim Foxy Nikki, like they made me feel like
- 2:17Speaker 1: an uber bad bitch. They made me feel expensive, They
- 2:20Speaker 1: made me feel motivated. So I wanted that same sensation
- 2:23Speaker 1: with this project. Yeah, and I think too, like I
- 2:26Speaker 1: feel like that kind of energy is like I mean,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I mean, there's some great music out there, but I
- 2:31Speaker 1: feel like coming from the perspective of like celebrating being single,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I feel like it's, you know, job accomplished. Yeah. Well,
- 2:41Speaker 1: the last year you've kind of been like I've heard
- 2:44Speaker 1: you've been like just locked up in the studio, just
- 2:46Speaker 1: banging shit out. I have. I love the studio now, yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I love it. What is the studio like must haves
- 2:52Speaker 1: for you? A comfortable blanket, okay, some candles, a little
- 2:58Speaker 1: bit of wine line, and I like to like clean
- 3:04Speaker 1: it every other hour. I hate a dirty studio. So
- 3:06Speaker 1: you'd be in the studio and you're like, I'll freshen up,
- 3:09Speaker 1: we gotta we gotta switch this up, new candles. No,
- 3:12Speaker 1: it's just like you know, because people order food. Oh yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 1: you have bottom in the corner. Yeah, I don't like
- 3:17Speaker 1: none of that. Like, if that the runners ain't coming
- 3:19Speaker 1: quick enough, I'm gonna just clean that shit up myself.
- 3:21Speaker 1: What is the sense of the candles? Something sweet, smelling good,
- 3:27Speaker 1: something sweet like you because you're sweety, like me. That
- 3:30Speaker 1: makes sense right on brain? Do you be? Cause you
- 3:35Speaker 1: know on this project, you say that you're the Queen
- 3:38Speaker 1: of the Bay, which I mean, yeah, well you know
- 3:42Speaker 1: I'm not like the queen of California. You know, I
- 3:46Speaker 1: went to USC, right. I mean, I don't want to
- 3:49Speaker 1: self proclaim my my the queen statement. But when I'm
- 3:53Speaker 1: in certain cities or I'm in certain areas, they'll just
- 3:55Speaker 1: like call me this and call me that. And I've
- 3:58Speaker 1: been called the Queen of California. I've been called me
- 4:00Speaker 1: a queen things, but I don't think it was more
- 4:01Speaker 1: of a like it's not something that like I'm trying
- 4:06Speaker 1: to title. That's why I had another voice that say it.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You know, I don't like when people like self proclaim sometimes.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I mean, listen, Lil Wayne called himself the best rapper alive,
- 4:16Speaker 1: as he should though, and t I said he was
- 4:18Speaker 1: the Kala Souse as he should though. But when t
- 4:21Speaker 1: I said that, everybody was like, who the fuck is
- 4:23Speaker 1: this guy? Because it was like I think it was
- 4:25Speaker 1: on the second album he said that on Trap Music right,
- 4:29Speaker 1: trap music here? But yeah, I think you know it's
- 4:32Speaker 1: okay to just because who else is going to do that?
- 4:35Speaker 1: All right, No, but I feel like as they should
- 4:38Speaker 1: because they had, you know, a catalog, but because I'm
- 4:41Speaker 1: just heating back up again. You know, I appreciate the titles,
- 4:43Speaker 1: but I still feel like I got something to prove, right,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and queen is a big statement. It's a huge statement. Yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 1: that's fair. Break down the acronym. I think I got
- 4:55Speaker 1: that right for pussy, so a's powerful. Yeah, utopia supreme,
- 5:01Speaker 1: sacred and yummy, the yummy, eat it out, don't be wasteful.
- 5:11Speaker 1: That's great. How like, was that is this something that
- 5:14Speaker 1: you obviously came up with, this acron of yourself. I
- 5:17Speaker 1: didn't know if this was like already out there or something. Well,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I come up with acronyms for everything that you know
- 5:22Speaker 1: that can be misinterpreted, or you know, when you are
- 5:26Speaker 1: always saying like bitch, pussy, Like I want people a
- 5:29Speaker 1: woman to know when I say it, it's coming from
- 5:32Speaker 1: an empowering place, like a determinative of endearment. Maybe it's
- 5:36Speaker 1: a positive thing. It's a positive thing, right, Yeah. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: think like Tupac did that with the N word, like
- 5:41Speaker 1: he broke down Doug life well and and the N
- 5:44Speaker 1: word right, yeah, never ignorant? I can't even I'm not
- 5:48Speaker 1: even gonna say what it is because it's kind of
- 5:49Speaker 1: like I'm like halfway spelling it out and I don't
- 5:51Speaker 1: want people to put that on me. But Yo, how
- 5:56Speaker 1: do you feel about, like, uh, this state of Because
- 6:00Speaker 1: when I first met you, it was probably twenty seventeen
- 6:04Speaker 1: or eighteen, it was a long time ago. Yeah, and
- 6:09Speaker 1: I even think back then like being a female rapper
- 6:14Speaker 1: was like very Yeah, I feel like it it was
- 6:17Speaker 1: an uphill battle because you know, we always hear people
- 6:19Speaker 1: talk about like, you know, for so long there was
- 6:22Speaker 1: like just Nikki and then everybody else. And I feel
- 6:24Speaker 1: like when we first met, like Cardi was heating up.
- 6:26Speaker 1: But this like movement of like the biggest rappers in
- 6:30Speaker 1: the world are pretty much all female now, and it's
- 6:33Speaker 1: like it's it's the most thriving landscape for female rappers ever.
- 6:39Speaker 1: How do you feel like obviously being a part of
- 6:42Speaker 1: that growth and that movement, Like, are you noticing like
- 6:45Speaker 1: things change? I'm noticing it, yeah, because you know what,
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's four or five years in. It's crazy that you're
- 6:52Speaker 1: because I still look at you like a new artist,
- 6:54Speaker 1: but you're kind of like, you know, I still feel
- 6:55Speaker 1: now That's why I said earlier, I feel like I
- 6:57Speaker 1: got something to pro Yeah, you're like knocking on you know,
- 7:00Speaker 1: og status. Low key stop. I'm saying like there's like
- 7:04Speaker 1: a bunch of new young artists who probably look up
- 7:07Speaker 1: to you. Now. Is that weird to like have people
- 7:09Speaker 1: looking up to you and you kind of came up
- 7:11Speaker 1: looking up to other artists as well. No, because I
- 7:13Speaker 1: feel like as an artist with a big platform, you
- 7:17Speaker 1: have like a duty to inspire. Yeah. So like when
- 7:20Speaker 1: these girls like do come to me for advice and
- 7:23Speaker 1: they do like pay me respect, I give it right
- 7:25Speaker 1: back to them. Yeah, and you're also I just saw
- 7:29Speaker 1: my boy Nico Blitch shout out to Nico the Filipino Bambino.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He did this little TikTok mix and it was like
- 7:36Speaker 1: with all Filipino artists and like he put like a
- 7:39Speaker 1: fact about each person and he played one of your
- 7:41Speaker 1: new songs and he was he put something up about
- 7:44Speaker 1: your foundation, talk about the so icy foundation. Ic Baby,
- 7:49Speaker 1: icy Baby, Okay, icee baby, All right, yeah, let's get
- 7:51Speaker 1: that right. But like, yeah, he was saying something that
- 7:53Speaker 1: you guys do a lot of shit, So like what
- 7:56Speaker 1: do y'all be doing at the Foundation. Well, our first
- 7:58Speaker 1: official event is in December, Okay, it's in Sacramento, Vegas
- 8:02Speaker 1: and Oakland. And what me and my grandmother is basically doing.
- 8:07Speaker 1: She helps me run the program. But we're going to
- 8:09Speaker 1: go into like black and brown communities and teach about
- 8:11Speaker 1: financial literacy because me being like, I'm like an adult
- 8:16Speaker 1: now and I'm still learning about it. But imagine if
- 8:18Speaker 1: we taught the kids at a young age to where
- 8:20Speaker 1: it just became second nature to them. Yeah, financial literacy.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It's crazy that it's not like the number one thing
- 8:26Speaker 1: taught at school. Because you get out of high school
- 8:28Speaker 1: and you don't know about your credit score, how to
- 8:32Speaker 1: like about a system system in do you have? Do
- 8:35Speaker 1: you have a nice credit score? I do it? What
- 8:38Speaker 1: is it? No, it's like seventh heaven maybe in the
- 8:43Speaker 1: maybe getting a little higher than that, like high sevens.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I gotta check it again. Have you hit eight hundred
- 8:49Speaker 1: ever at any point in your life? No? Not yet. Yeah,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I think I'm like a seven eighty. I don't know
- 8:54Speaker 1: what I have to do to get an eight hundred
- 8:56Speaker 1: because I know people with eight hundred. I'm like, how
- 8:57Speaker 1: do you get that? Like? Yeah, I mean that's what
- 9:02Speaker 1: you're teaching financial literacy. Now my grandmother is That's why
- 9:05Speaker 1: I said, I'm still learning. What up you always? Stopping
- 9:08Speaker 1: the interview real quick to tell you about our good
- 9:10Speaker 1: friends at my Bookie. We're live in my room right
- 9:12Speaker 1: now in Las Vegas. And if you're not in Las

- 10:26Speaker 1: Sign up right now. They're gonna match your money up
- 10:27Speaker 1: to one thousand dollars. Let's get back to the interview.
- 10:29Speaker 1: What are some things that you would say, like basic
- 10:32Speaker 1: financial literacy stuff that you have picked up from your grandma.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I would say one thing that she's taught me is
- 10:39Speaker 1: that the biggest misconception of having money in black and
- 10:42Speaker 1: brown communities is thinking that you have money because it's
- 10:45Speaker 1: in your savings. But if it's not like compounding, if
- 10:48Speaker 1: it's not accruing any interest, then the money isn't really
- 10:52Speaker 1: working for you. And you want to get to a
- 10:53Speaker 1: point where like your disperse in your funds so that
- 10:59Speaker 1: you can have high credit scores, your credit can be
- 11:01Speaker 1: better and so that you know your wealth is working
- 11:04Speaker 1: for you while you're sleeping. Yeah, because if you just
- 11:06Speaker 1: have a regular savings account, there's no like barely any
- 11:10Speaker 1: interest and it's just sitting there. So you might as
- 11:13Speaker 1: well put that money to work or like you said,
- 11:15Speaker 1: put it in some sort of investment account where you
- 11:17Speaker 1: get like actual you know, as guaranteed of returns as
- 11:20Speaker 1: you can have. And then also do you do you
- 11:23Speaker 1: like use a credit card for everything and then paid
- 11:25Speaker 1: off at the end of the month. That's what I do.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I just buy everything on my credit card, but I
- 11:30Speaker 1: paid off to zero at the end of the month.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Do you pay years off to zero every month? I
- 11:33Speaker 1: got to ask my accountant that's fair. Yeah, you're you
- 11:36Speaker 1: got you got accounting money. Me I got just you know, okay,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm trying to get there though. Yo, you kind of
- 11:43Speaker 1: have like a pretty uh you know. I feel like
- 11:47Speaker 1: when we think of like superstar status, you're you're a
- 11:52Speaker 1: superstar at this point. Thank you. Yeah, you had your
- 11:57Speaker 1: own meal and shit, you know what I'm saying. McDonald's mail. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: that was that was one of my favorite brandeis No,
- 12:04Speaker 1: that's insane, not everyone's getting McDonald's. I think it was
- 12:07Speaker 1: like you, Travis, and like J Balvin and Mariah Carey. Yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and Mariah her campaign was hello cute. Yeah. What was
- 12:15Speaker 1: like for you when you put together the McDonald's meal?
- 12:19Speaker 1: M hmm? Is it like something like really are eating?
- 12:22Speaker 1: Or you just like, Yo, this this kind of some
- 12:23Speaker 1: shit that I like. So that's how I got the
- 12:26Speaker 1: deal because I would always go live. Are you known
- 12:28Speaker 1: when you're coming home with from like the club? Of course?
- 12:31Speaker 1: So I would be coming home with McDonald's the only
- 12:35Speaker 1: thing that's open, and I would just make my concoctions
- 12:38Speaker 1: on live and they would go viral every time. Yeah
- 12:41Speaker 1: McDonald's to me. And I'm not saying this because they
- 12:43Speaker 1: gave you a bag, but I always say this and
- 12:46Speaker 1: people give me shit. I think it's the greatest fast
- 12:48Speaker 1: food restaurant. I love it ever. And I mean obviously
- 12:52Speaker 1: people will be like in and out or whatever, but
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm like, yo, McDonald's is like, there's a reason why
- 12:55Speaker 1: they're number one. That shit is crack. Yeah. Do you
- 12:59Speaker 1: put fried on your burger? So you didn't see the
- 13:02Speaker 1: sweety male? It was like a certain type of sauce, right, No,
- 13:06Speaker 1: So I ordered it because my wife is a she's
- 13:08Speaker 1: miss icy fucking everything. So you eat to make chicken,
- 13:12Speaker 1: you put the fries on it. If you feeling, you know,
- 13:15Speaker 1: a little risky, our cheeseburger with it. Put some ranch
- 13:20Speaker 1: and some sweet and sour sauce. What you put cheeseburger
- 13:24Speaker 1: on the chicken chicken, it's like a Scooby Doo sandwich.
- 13:27Speaker 1: So it's chicken and a burger patty, Yeah, Jesus, and
- 13:31Speaker 1: fries and sweet and sour sauce, chees and ranch. You're
- 13:36Speaker 1: do you smoke weed occasionally? That sounds like some pot
- 13:41Speaker 1: had ass ship right there. No, I just like to eat. Hey, man, listen,
- 13:47Speaker 1: shout out to you, because if I eat that kind
- 13:49Speaker 1: of if I eat that ship all the time, be
- 13:50Speaker 1: fucking I'd be looking crazy out here. But I also, like,
- 13:54Speaker 1: you know, white white people, we don't put on weight
- 13:55Speaker 1: or age well, so I gotta like be super careful.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I just got on keto and lost a bunch of
- 14:00Speaker 1: because I was in George mcdonald'son I got fatis fucked. Yoh.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Let me ask you that, sweety, because I feel like
- 14:07Speaker 1: you for whatever reason, and not even just you, but
- 14:10Speaker 1: I feel like with this project, and just in general.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I think that like there's a lot of double standards
- 14:17Speaker 1: in music and even popular culture when it comes to
- 14:20Speaker 1: like when a woman does something and when a man
- 14:23Speaker 1: does something. And I feel like you've dealt with that
- 14:26Speaker 1: publicly for like a while, Like how do you deal
- 14:28Speaker 1: with like some of the hate, some of just the
- 14:31Speaker 1: like people just you know, not to get into specific situations,
- 14:35Speaker 1: but just people always speculating about your your personal life,
- 14:38Speaker 1: your business online. I mean when it comes to getting
- 14:44Speaker 1: you know, flack or whatever you want to call it
- 14:47Speaker 1: about my art. I think the biggest thing that keeps
- 14:51Speaker 1: me in a mental in a healthy mental space is,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you know, one of my mentors, Big Bob, he teaches me,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you know, create, don't compete. If you're always creating, they're
- 15:00Speaker 1: not necessarily looking at what the competition is doing with
- 15:02Speaker 1: the critics are saying because you're so busy over here creating.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So anytime I see myself going down a rabbit hole
- 15:09Speaker 1: of like negativity, I'll just start thinking about let's let
- 15:12Speaker 1: me work on video treatments, let me start mood boarding,
- 15:15Speaker 1: let me start writing, writing a new song, you know,
- 15:17Speaker 1: like channeling my energy somewhere else to keep your kind
- 15:20Speaker 1: of like your mind busy off of exactly. Also, like
- 15:24Speaker 1: you know that kind of shit is like usually not
- 15:27Speaker 1: very productive to like, like I always try to stay
- 15:30Speaker 1: with from reading comments, like when we drop interviews, I
- 15:33Speaker 1: don't go into the comments. So I feel like it's
- 15:36Speaker 1: a double edged sword though, because I like to interact
- 15:38Speaker 1: with my fans. True, So it's like I have to
- 15:41Speaker 1: see some of the bad to get there, because if
- 15:43Speaker 1: you go on live, you can't like not see what right,
- 15:48Speaker 1: people probably seeing some wild a shit they do be
- 15:50Speaker 1: saying how many people have you blocked on Instagram? If
- 15:54Speaker 1: you had to give me like a what's the over under?
- 15:56Speaker 1: Is it like more than a thousand? You know, I'm
- 15:59Speaker 1: not sure I'm blocking people since they started allowing you
- 16:02Speaker 1: to block. So yeah, I think I went through my blocked.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I think I at least got a thousand people blocked.
- 16:07Speaker 1: For sure. You got to protect your piece. Yeah, I'm like, yo,
- 16:11Speaker 1: don't get fuck out it. You'll get blocked real quick
- 16:14Speaker 1: coming on my page with some bullshit, Uh huh for sure?
- 16:17Speaker 1: How crazy are sweeties dms these days? Like do you
- 16:21Speaker 1: like listen message requests? Do you even open them? Like
- 16:24Speaker 1: you know how you can like you get your dms
- 16:26Speaker 1: that you see right away, and then there's like just
- 16:28Speaker 1: anybody can throw a DM at you. Do you ever
- 16:31Speaker 1: just go through and see if like fans hit you
- 16:34Speaker 1: up or you know, I'm sure you're getting random d
- 16:36Speaker 1: picts just in and out of that thing. You know
- 16:39Speaker 1: what I appreciate now Instagram blurs the picture they do,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and if you know what, if you're paying close attention, yeah,
- 16:47Speaker 1: you can see the outline of it. So I don't
- 16:49Speaker 1: even open it because it'd be blurred out. You'd be like,
- 16:52Speaker 1: that looks like a blurry dick. So I don't even
- 16:56Speaker 1: open it. And what's up with Instagram allowing all these
- 17:00Speaker 1: porn pages to tag and like the tag photos. I
- 17:04Speaker 1: guess you go to a lot of celebrities tags. It's
- 17:06Speaker 1: like a whole bunch of porn. I didn't know they
- 17:09Speaker 1: had porn on IG's it'd be all be my text.
- 17:12Speaker 1: And I'm like, how ese Instagram allowing this? Because Twitter's wild?
- 17:18Speaker 1: What's your algorithm? Like? Oh no, it's it's better. I
- 17:22Speaker 1: cleaned it up. I cleaned it up. It was it
- 17:25Speaker 1: for a while though, it was fucked up, okay, because
- 17:28Speaker 1: like you know, I've had Twitter since own nine. I
- 17:30Speaker 1: used to follow a bunch of porn chicks whatever. But
- 17:32Speaker 1: it got to the point where like it was like
- 17:34Speaker 1: Russian roulette if I opened my laptop in front of
- 17:36Speaker 1: my wife or kids. So I got opened my laptop,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and if I just go to Twitter, like, man, you
- 17:43Speaker 1: just never know what the fuck's gonna pop up algorithm.
- 17:45Speaker 1: So I had to unfollow hell of people. It was
- 17:47Speaker 1: not even the algorithm, it was just I was following,
- 17:48Speaker 1: you know, a bunch of sick shit. And but what's
- 17:51Speaker 1: crazy though, is like my friends are terrible, like sick fucks,
- 17:55Speaker 1: and if they like something on Twitter, it pops up
- 17:59Speaker 1: in feed Damn. So if like Erica Rock likes some
- 18:04Speaker 1: sick shit on some what shall be like him? Now,
- 18:07Speaker 1: don't listen to him. We won't talk about his Internet history.
- 18:13Speaker 1: This man right here, you know, he's my producer. He
- 18:16Speaker 1: had it's all my videos, right. So we have a
- 18:17Speaker 1: laptop for the Bootleg Heap podcast, and it's signed into
- 18:20Speaker 1: my Gmail. So I'm on my phone and I look
- 18:26Speaker 1: up Google right and it has my Google search history
- 18:32Speaker 1: and the last thing I searched, let's just say, with
- 18:35Speaker 1: some wild shit, and I'm like, what the fuck I'm like,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I know, I didn't look that up. And then I
- 18:43Speaker 1: was like, oh, so I called him and I said, hey, dude,
- 18:49Speaker 1: if you're gonna look up porn, make sure it's not
- 18:52Speaker 1: while you're logged into my fucking Gmail. You know what?
- 18:56Speaker 1: The worst though, is one like you know, on your phone,
- 19:00Speaker 1: how you can swipe out of things, like let's say
- 19:04Speaker 1: you forgot to like whatever. Let's say it's Twitter, and
- 19:07Speaker 1: whatever was last on your Twitter's still up like some
- 19:11Speaker 1: wild ship. So you think you on your phone, everything's
- 19:14Speaker 1: like moving how it's supposed to, and then you go
- 19:16Speaker 1: to the app. It's like the worst when you're like
- 19:18Speaker 1: around a lot of people. Oh yeah, you know. That
- 19:21Speaker 1: happened to me at an award show. What wait? What happened?
- 19:25Speaker 1: I had some wild ship on my phone and I
- 19:28Speaker 1: opened it and I almost like through my phone because
- 19:32Speaker 1: I was so embarrassed. Wait, what was on your phone
- 19:37Speaker 1: was important? I can't tell you that was it? Like?
- 19:39Speaker 1: Was it like some some smuts, some nasty stuff, some risky,
- 19:42Speaker 1: some risky ship, some risky, some blurred dicks? It was
- 19:45Speaker 1: more than that, Jesus. Was it like personal material or
- 19:50Speaker 1: like stuff online? I'm just gonna keep comments to myself. Well,
- 19:53Speaker 1: we got to stop the interview real quick. We're live
- 19:55Speaker 1: in Vegas right now. Listen, fellas. If you're watching this
- 19:59Speaker 1: and you need a little extra pep in your step,

- 21:26Speaker 1: you this, are you worried about like I'm not saying
- 21:28Speaker 1: you have stuff like that in your phone of yourself,
- 21:31Speaker 1: but uh, you're obviously really famous. So would you ever
- 21:36Speaker 1: like freak like do you ever worry if like dang,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever sent wild photos to
- 21:42Speaker 1: people in life, but like if you have, like damn them,
- 21:45Speaker 1: shits might leak one day? Or do you not give
- 21:47Speaker 1: a fuck? You know, that's a good question. I never
- 21:50Speaker 1: thought about that. I don't know how I feel. Yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I always say, like, go ahead,
- 21:59Speaker 1: leak them whatever. You know. You know, one of my
- 22:01Speaker 1: homegirls always told me because this is what she did,
- 22:04Speaker 1: Like she always makes sure like the photo is tip
- 22:07Speaker 1: tops whatever got out. It's just like, oh, well, yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 1: it's like it's almost like a business card, a business card.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Well I'm not I mean, I'm not saying. I mean, like,
- 22:16Speaker 1: you know, you know what I mean. That sounded terrible?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Do that sounded bad? He's like, what do you try
- 22:24Speaker 1: to say? I don't have a fucking only fans Jesus,
- 22:27Speaker 1: by the way, you should do it only fans with
- 22:29Speaker 1: financial literacy advice on it. No, DG. Well ddg's only fans.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I haven't. I didn't subscribe. He told me this, But
- 22:40Speaker 1: he's like he's you subscribe and it gives you like
- 22:44Speaker 1: YouTube tips and stuff, you know, and there's like cooks
- 22:47Speaker 1: who have recipes on there. It's not just for the smut,
- 22:50Speaker 1: you know. I mean DJ khaled A, Fat Joe had
- 22:53Speaker 1: a joint only fans account for a little bit. Really, Yeah,
- 22:55Speaker 1: I didn't know that. Yeah, they were just doing like
- 22:57Speaker 1: it was like a like a Buddy Cop movie but
- 23:00Speaker 1: just on OnlyFans between calend and Fat Show. So you know,
- 23:04Speaker 1: who are you a fan of right now? That's just
- 23:07Speaker 1: on the come up, Like help put a song? You
- 23:09Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Oh, I just did a song
- 23:11Speaker 1: with Reek and the Menace. Mmm. I like her. She's
- 23:14Speaker 1: from Baltimore. She a baddie. Shout out to be more
- 23:17Speaker 1: anybody out of northern California you're liking right now? Honestly
- 23:21Speaker 1: after I dropped because I'm dropping in some more music.
- 23:25Speaker 1: But I want to do like a California search for
- 23:27Speaker 1: more female rappers. Oh dope. We don't really have like
- 23:30Speaker 1: a long line of history. We've had girls that came out,
- 23:33Speaker 1: but I think it's time to just show shed more
- 23:36Speaker 1: light on the talent of women in California. That's real
- 23:39Speaker 1: because I mean obviously you're at the forefront of that.
- 23:43Speaker 1: You know, there's like Camaya. Back in the day, they
- 23:45Speaker 1: were love Camaia's Fire Hella Hard, Super Hard. That album
- 23:50Speaker 1: was everything. She's amazing. Yes, yes, who else? Who else
- 23:55Speaker 1: is California Lady of Rage? When I was growing up
- 23:57Speaker 1: with Dope, I'm forgetting day Sulon are artist. I like her, so,
- 24:03Speaker 1: yeah she's dope. She actually could sing too. I don't
- 24:06Speaker 1: know why she don't put the singing shit out, but yeah,
- 24:09Speaker 1: that'd be dope. Maybe you put together like almost like
- 24:11Speaker 1: you like a and R project with just like up
- 24:13Speaker 1: and coming female. I would like to do that. That'd
- 24:15Speaker 1: be fire. Because I'm producing now, I make beats. You're
- 24:18Speaker 1: making beats? What do you make beats on splice splice? Yeah,
- 24:23Speaker 1: well you get the sounds from splice, I bring it
- 24:25Speaker 1: over what do you bring it over to pro tools
- 24:27Speaker 1: or whatever's on the computer I'm using. I'm still a
- 24:31Speaker 1: little rookie. I just be you know, whatever sounds that
- 24:33Speaker 1: I'll just be dragging it down. Yeah, well that's what's
- 24:35Speaker 1: still about splice and Splice is like a I feel
- 24:38Speaker 1: like a nice entry point into learning how to produce
- 24:41Speaker 1: because you can kind of like just type in what
- 24:44Speaker 1: sound you're looking for, what BPM you want. It's like
- 24:47Speaker 1: a candy store of sounds. Yeah, like you are you
- 24:50Speaker 1: on there a lot just digging around on splice? Do
- 24:53Speaker 1: you like put the idea together and then send it
- 24:55Speaker 1: to your producer homie to like refine it, or you
- 24:58Speaker 1: like totally like nah, made the beat. I got the
- 25:00Speaker 1: bridge built out here. You're not there yet, so my
- 25:03Speaker 1: engineer helps me refine it. Nice. Nice. What is your
- 25:08Speaker 1: writing process like, are you like a lot of people
- 25:11Speaker 1: nowadays punching? Do you write down stuff? Do you get
- 25:14Speaker 1: the phone? What do you like? How you writing? So
- 25:17Speaker 1: the last two songs I added to the single Life
- 25:20Speaker 1: was memorable and no reception. And what I did is,
- 25:23Speaker 1: I'll start the idea in the studio and if, like
- 25:27Speaker 1: I feel the energy gets stale, I'll bounce it and
- 25:29Speaker 1: then I'll go on my car and just right around
- 25:31Speaker 1: La and just like write, Wow, I write the best
- 25:34Speaker 1: in my car. That's dope. So you'll just be in
- 25:37Speaker 1: your car just coming up with ideas. Yeah, I like
- 25:39Speaker 1: driving around Odeale. Would you do like a voice note like,
- 25:43Speaker 1: uh yeah, because you can't be like writing while driving.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'll have like this phone with the beat on, and
- 25:48Speaker 1: then my other phone recorded me, Oh wow, that's super dope.
- 25:52Speaker 1: You gotta be careful out here though, man, Oh hell,
- 25:55Speaker 1: you drive around La too much by yourself. She's fucked
- 25:57Speaker 1: up out here, it is. Yeah. I mean you obviously
- 26:01Speaker 1: you was in college here. Have you noticed like the
- 26:05Speaker 1: turning like the city just kind of like things getting
- 26:07Speaker 1: a little crazier out here. I mean, I think it's
- 26:08Speaker 1: getting publicized a lot, like like there's always been shit
- 26:11Speaker 1: happening in La obviously, but it feels like, just like
- 26:15Speaker 1: I mean La and other cities, it just goes to
- 26:18Speaker 1: show that this is the reason why women is running,
- 26:21Speaker 1: you know, rap and hip hop, because there's just so
- 26:25Speaker 1: much violence and disrespecting the male music. You gotta think, like,
- 26:29Speaker 1: remember when what was that like sixteen seventeen number one,
- 26:33Speaker 1: like YG Tiger Chris was out. It was like fun
- 26:37Speaker 1: Big Sean, it was fun party te fly Yeah, but
- 26:41Speaker 1: it was like fun party music. It wasn't like I'm
- 26:44Speaker 1: gonna do this to you and this this you know, right.
- 26:47Speaker 1: So it's like I feel like we had to raise
- 26:48Speaker 1: the vibration with the music and get back to having
- 26:51Speaker 1: a good time. Yeah, I feel like there's definitely a
- 26:55Speaker 1: lack of empathy and love. Yeah, that's real, for real,
- 27:01Speaker 1: that's real. Yeah, I think some people are doing it.
- 27:04Speaker 1: But like you said, I think too that Instagram shit
- 27:06Speaker 1: is like crazy, Like I just saw NBA Young Boy
- 27:08Speaker 1: No Cap going back and forth all fucking day to
- 27:10Speaker 1: day on Instagram and I'm just like Jesus Christ, NBA boys.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I think you just sound like a three hundred million
- 27:16Speaker 1: dollar deal or something like the fuck off Instagram who
- 27:18Speaker 1: cares with no cap saying like, I don't know. That's
- 27:20Speaker 1: another hearing r there. Pretty bitch music pretty much music
- 27:25Speaker 1: is it done, it's it's done, it's done. But this
- 27:30Speaker 1: is my album. It's done ish, it's done ish Yeah,
- 27:35Speaker 1: So like you know it's done, but the right record
- 27:38Speaker 1: comes comes around and you can still make the album exactly.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Features are already turned in, No, not yet. I like
- 27:46Speaker 1: working with artists like in person, like I got to
- 27:49Speaker 1: work with Rico, Nasty, Dreazy and a couple of other people.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I'm like an in person type of collaborator. I don't
- 27:57Speaker 1: like sending it back and forth. Yeah. I feel like
- 27:59Speaker 1: that it's a lost art form too, because nobody's getting
- 28:02Speaker 1: in no more. They just send emails. Yeah, Drezy, super Dope.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I love her. We got to a song called Baicago Baygo.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I like that you actually do an album called Bago
- 28:15Speaker 1: fuck it? Would you a joint album with somebody? I
- 28:18Speaker 1: would do a joint album with Yeah, that'd be fire.
- 28:22Speaker 1: She's hard. I just was telling my team, damn when
- 28:25Speaker 1: are you gonna put this out? I want to tell
- 28:26Speaker 1: her before this comes out. I just saw her last
- 28:30Speaker 1: night and it was hell a loud. So I was like,
- 28:32Speaker 1: I got an idea for us because she asked me
- 28:33Speaker 1: about the song. But I've been wanting to like collaborate
- 28:36Speaker 1: with another woman and I really liked, Yeah, she's dope.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Her and hip Boy put out a super fire project. Yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: and I think that's dope too, because I feel like,
- 28:47Speaker 1: I just think it's good to see like artists just
- 28:51Speaker 1: working with each other, especially in a female space, you know,
- 28:54Speaker 1: absolutely pulling each other up. Yeah. Being a fan, like,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I feel like that's like back to the double status thing.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Remember the fan of a fan with Chris and Tiger.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was like love support fun, you know.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Got to get back to that. Oh the Tisa snapback days.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Do you remember those hats? Was it? That's that right?
- 29:12Speaker 1: I don't know. Tiger had those fucking snapbags booming boy?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Was that was such a I remember just watching like
- 29:18Speaker 1: that era in LA and that's what made me really
- 29:22Speaker 1: want to come to LA. So I was in San
- 29:23Speaker 1: Diego and I would come to LA every weekend on
- 29:26Speaker 1: the what is it the Amtrak every weekend. So what
- 29:30Speaker 1: were you doing in San Diego, San Diego State? So
- 29:32Speaker 1: you went Okay, so you were in Aztec as well,
- 29:34Speaker 1: and then I transferred to USC. You're just all over Californy.
- 29:37Speaker 1: You were the Queen of California. Thank you. You ever
- 29:39Speaker 1: make it over to Tijuana for good Mexican food when
- 29:42Speaker 1: you lived there? Honestly I was. I would be scared
- 29:46Speaker 1: because I would hear the stories and you know that's
- 29:48Speaker 1: the food over there is crazy. I know it's crazy,
- 29:51Speaker 1: but I'm like, you know, that ain't my hood, like
- 29:54Speaker 1: trying to down here like my life. You know, I
- 29:58Speaker 1: always like equated. Like if you hear about stuff like
- 30:02Speaker 1: you hear about the worst about a place on the news,
- 30:05Speaker 1: it'd be like someone who's from like Massachusetts visiting LA
- 30:10Speaker 1: and thinking they're gonna get robbed or like banged on,
- 30:13Speaker 1: like it might happen. That's Tijuana, Nah, I think lit
- 30:19Speaker 1: they got great. Like Okay, if I go down there
- 30:21Speaker 1: with like you and some other people that know the area,
- 30:23Speaker 1: then yeah, but I'm just not going to work done
- 30:25Speaker 1: there And the Dennis was fire and uh oysters, I
- 30:29Speaker 1: get like a dozen oysters for like eight dollars. Ocean
- 30:33Speaker 1: like like seafood your main your main ship with your
- 30:36Speaker 1: favorite food. Oh, I love me some seafood, seafood, boil,
- 30:40Speaker 1: some spicy sauce, lamon butter. Do you cook? Yeah? I cook?
- 30:45Speaker 1: What's like your if if someone were to put you
- 30:47Speaker 1: on like a competition, show a seafood pasta, that's your
- 30:50Speaker 1: main go to seafood pasta. I don't eat meat no more,
- 30:53Speaker 1: but I can make a good steak. Why not? What?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Why not? Meat? And February I was working a lot
- 31:03Speaker 1: and my body felt like it just kept breaking down.
- 31:06Speaker 1: So I was like, how do I just remove something
- 31:08Speaker 1: from my diet to improve my health? And I thought
- 31:13Speaker 1: that Honestly, I didn't think that I was going to
- 31:14Speaker 1: be able to do it, But after it became a habit,
- 31:17Speaker 1: I kind of just forgot about meat. And then like
- 31:21Speaker 1: a month ago, I tried eating a Wevel's rancheto brito
- 31:28Speaker 1: with some beef in it, and it tastes hella good.
- 31:31Speaker 1: But when I tell you, my body rejected it in
- 31:33Speaker 1: ten seconds. I had like, ran to the bathroom. You
- 31:36Speaker 1: had to blow it up. I didn't blow it up,
- 31:38Speaker 1: it kind of I just came back out the other way.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So you puked you puked. I puked last fect. Yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 1: it's not fun. It's not in this morning. Oh and
- 31:52Speaker 1: this morning? Yeah, I did what color was it? This morning?
- 31:55Speaker 1: Was just clear? It's like I was just puked up tequila.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Oh that's good. Yeah, it was like it was like
- 31:59Speaker 1: so it just turned off water holes. It was fucked up.
- 32:01Speaker 1: You know what makes a really safe puke gatorade. So
- 32:06Speaker 1: if you know you're gonna pukel you drink the gatorade,
- 32:08Speaker 1: drink gatorade because you're like, I might as well just
- 32:11Speaker 1: keep the gatorade out. It keeps the burn away for
- 32:13Speaker 1: some reason. Nice, you've had some some you got some experience.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Can you kind of work in the morning? S How
- 32:22Speaker 1: do you cook your steak? You say you make a
- 32:24Speaker 1: good steak? What do you do the cast iron pan?
- 32:27Speaker 1: Like we put it to the oven? How are you
- 32:28Speaker 1: making your steaks? So? I like some I like for
- 32:29Speaker 1: it's like marinate okay, you know with the beer seasoning whatever,
- 32:35Speaker 1: refrigerator for a little bit, and then I like to
- 32:37Speaker 1: bake it. And then once it's done, I like to
- 32:39Speaker 1: grill it to like crysticides. Yeah, you gotta see it
- 32:42Speaker 1: there it is. Oh yeah, you're a real one I
- 32:44Speaker 1: learned from my dad. Shout out to your pops. Hey,
- 32:47Speaker 1: what y'all boulet keV gott to stop the interview to
- 32:49Speaker 1: tell you about our newest sponsor. Man. Shout out to
- 32:51Speaker 1: the homies at hard Dean, Las Vegas. That's right then,
- 32:55Speaker 1: number one dispensary in the whole state of Nevada. Let
- 32:59Speaker 1: it's in the whole fucking country. So many choices of
- 33:03Speaker 1: premium cannabis, ladies and gentlemen. It is like, how can
- 33:07Speaker 1: I put this? You walk into it. You go to

- 34:00Speaker 1: Let's get back to the interview ship. Hey, let me
- 34:04Speaker 1: ask you this, because you grew up in what was
- 34:06Speaker 1: bipping crazy in Sacramento. Yeah, like we're in when you
- 34:11Speaker 1: go to the Bay, everybody's leaving their windows down because
- 34:14Speaker 1: every car is getting bipped. They're smashing them. I didn't
- 34:17Speaker 1: even know what that was. Oh my goodness, in like
- 34:20Speaker 1: the Bay right now, well all the time. But I
- 34:24Speaker 1: know the band Sacramento aren't necessarily the same thing. They're not,
- 34:28Speaker 1: so shouts to everybody. He's like, man, that's when people say, yo,
- 34:31Speaker 1: Masi's from the Band'm like, no, he's not. He's from Sacramento.
- 34:34Speaker 1: But yeah, in the in the Bay, they got bipping,
- 34:36Speaker 1: which is crazy. It's like, uh, in the city, if
- 34:40Speaker 1: you have a car that looks like a rental your car,
- 34:42Speaker 1: your car windows getting cracked. Oh, I mean growing up
- 34:46Speaker 1: in the Bay, I just remember that, Like my parents
- 34:49Speaker 1: would always have that the club. The club, Yeah yeah,
- 34:55Speaker 1: the club was also a nice weapon. Somebody funk around
- 34:57Speaker 1: to get that club. Problem is the name of people
- 35:00Speaker 1: don't even want to steal the car no more. They
- 35:01Speaker 1: just want to steal whatever you got inside. So now
- 35:03Speaker 1: when you go out there, everybody just leaves their windows
- 35:06Speaker 1: rolled down. Are you serious? Then yeah, if you go
- 35:08Speaker 1: to San Francisco, you'll notice just half of the car's
- 35:11Speaker 1: windows are just rolled down. That's hello crazy ye me
- 35:15Speaker 1: bugs and shit like, come on in just look and
- 35:17Speaker 1: see what I got because I would rather do that
- 35:19Speaker 1: than have to go and call my insurance company to
- 35:21Speaker 1: get a new window. Oh my gosh. Yeah, hey, uh
- 35:25Speaker 1: talk about best Friend because that's a song that got
- 35:29Speaker 1: you nominated for a Grammy. Big record was like the
- 35:35Speaker 1: the chemistry with you and Doze are just like off
- 35:38Speaker 1: the Rip just suit. Was it like an easy record
- 35:40Speaker 1: to make because she seems like super dope, Like I mean,
- 35:43Speaker 1: I've hung out with her, She's cool as fuck. We
- 35:44Speaker 1: kind of have the same kind of humor. But how
- 35:47Speaker 1: was like the creative process making that record? So I'm
- 35:50Speaker 1: a Dojah in London, so I didn't even know she
- 35:53Speaker 1: was from La okay. Yeah, So when I initially met her,
- 35:58Speaker 1: it was she was HELLICU, but I always thought that
- 35:59Speaker 1: she was from London. So when I found out she
- 36:01Speaker 1: was in LA like working with her was a lot
- 36:03Speaker 1: more easier. And when I had the Best Friend record,
- 36:06Speaker 1: I just thought that we'd sound, you know, good together,
- 36:09Speaker 1: and that someone like I may not kick it with her,
- 36:12Speaker 1: but I fuck with her. And I feel like for
- 36:14Speaker 1: a record like that, you gotta really have a friendship
- 36:17Speaker 1: with like the person you're making it with. That's not
- 36:19Speaker 1: the type of record you just add somebody on to it,
- 36:22Speaker 1: you know, I mean it's called best friend. Yeah, you
- 36:24Speaker 1: want to actually be friends with the person you make
- 36:26Speaker 1: this absolutely, Yeah, that's fair. Who's your actual best friend
- 36:29Speaker 1: in real life? Though? The microphone? The microphone? Well that
- 36:34Speaker 1: was a political answer. So whoever said your friend circle,
- 36:38Speaker 1: don't get offended. No, when you think of like a
- 36:40Speaker 1: best friend, I'm at the studio all the time, but
- 36:42Speaker 1: I do got some dope homegirls, Fifi, Stephanie Khadija, Stephanie
- 36:47Speaker 1: put them on. Yeah you got to Stephanie's damn, I said,
- 36:49Speaker 1: Stephanie's wife. I might say, oh, I hope, I'm not
- 36:52Speaker 1: forgetting nobody. You have an animal or something. I do
- 36:55Speaker 1: want to get a pet. Yeah, what kind of like
- 37:00Speaker 1: don't just don't get a French Ye. I'm more of
- 37:03Speaker 1: like a pit bull kind of girl. Yeah, I just
- 37:05Speaker 1: feel like like, we get it. You got a French
- 37:07Speaker 1: bull By the way, I got a French bulldog, you do.
- 37:12Speaker 1: What's the French bulldog's name? His name is Larry? Larry. Yeah, okay,
- 37:17Speaker 1: I have a dog named Larry, and then I have
- 37:19Speaker 1: a Pomeranian named Lebowski. The Big Lebowski my favorite movie
- 37:26Speaker 1: behind you boom. Have you ever seen The Big Lebowski. No,
- 37:30Speaker 1: I've never seen it with Jeff Bridges. It's about this dude. No, No,
- 37:36Speaker 1: that's just the French movie poster for it. Okay, So
- 37:39Speaker 1: The Big Lebowski is about a loser who lives in La.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I'm watching take a picture of it. Yeah, it's yeah,
- 37:47Speaker 1: you gotta watch it. And so it starts pretty much,
- 37:52Speaker 1: there's this guy's name is Jeff Lebowski. There's another Jeff
- 37:55Speaker 1: Lebowski in LA that's like a millionaire that owes these
- 37:58Speaker 1: guys a bunch of money. So these guys show up
- 38:01Speaker 1: to the poor Jeff Lebowski's house and they beat the
- 38:04Speaker 1: shit out of him, and they piss all over his rug,
- 38:07Speaker 1: thinking that he's the guy who owes the money. But
- 38:09Speaker 1: then they realize they look around and they're like, wait
- 38:11Speaker 1: a minute, isn't this guy supposed to be rich? He
- 38:13Speaker 1: lives in this piece of shit apartment, And so then
- 38:14Speaker 1: they just leave. So this guy loved his rug so
- 38:18Speaker 1: much that he rolls the rug up and he finds
- 38:22Speaker 1: the millionaire Jeff Lebowski, and he brings the rug to
- 38:25Speaker 1: his house and he says, yo, man, they were looking
- 38:29Speaker 1: for you. They pissed on my rug. I need a
- 38:32Speaker 1: new rug. And that's just And then it's just it's
- 38:36Speaker 1: just a wild, wild, fucking movie. It sounds like it's hilarious,
- 38:40Speaker 1: like a a step Brother's type of movie, like a
- 38:43Speaker 1: super Bad. It's better than that for sure. But yeah,
- 38:46Speaker 1: but I mean it's the best movie ever, number one.
- 38:49Speaker 1: It's the greatest of all time. What's your favorite movie? Ooh,
- 38:54Speaker 1: I don't know, you don't know. No, it depends on
- 38:58Speaker 1: my mood. Well, what are your favorite? Give me three
- 39:00Speaker 1: movies you really really like that I really really like. Yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 1: I like Ooh, I love pants Labyrinths. Oh, that's a heater.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I love that one. I like Scarface, Okay, like that's
- 39:14Speaker 1: a type of movie like I'll just put on like
- 39:16Speaker 1: I'm not watching it, but because I watched it so much,
- 39:18Speaker 1: it just makes me feel like I'm at home. Yep.
- 39:23Speaker 1: And I like Zutopia. You know, I've never seen Zootopia.
- 39:27Speaker 1: That was like my comfort movie when I was like
- 39:29Speaker 1: running rooms. That's a cartoon, right. Yeah, we say when
- 39:31Speaker 1: you were renting rooms, what does that mean? Renting rooms
- 39:34Speaker 1: off the craigslist? You were renting rooms off Craigslist. Yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 1: like to live in before I got signed. I didn't
- 39:41Speaker 1: know that. You didn't know that. Oh, that's why I
- 39:44Speaker 1: would do car wraps because my crib wasn't nice or
- 39:47Speaker 1: whatever room I wasn't wasn't nice. So you would be
- 39:50Speaker 1: on Craigslist just like room to room. Uh huh damn
- 39:54Speaker 1: was that like anything sketch ever happened? Yeah? So I
- 39:59Speaker 1: remember I had found this place in Northridge and it
- 40:06Speaker 1: was a good ass deal. It was like four hundred
- 40:07Speaker 1: for the room. So it was with a married couple,
- 40:13Speaker 1: and I remember they didn't have any kids. They said
- 40:17Speaker 1: they didn't have any kids. So when you run a room,
- 40:20Speaker 1: you go to the person's house and they interview you,
- 40:22Speaker 1: you interview them, so she was hella cool, and she
- 40:25Speaker 1: kept saying you could meet my husband, but the husband
- 40:29Speaker 1: was just never available. But I needed a room, so
- 40:32Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I'm just gonna move in without
- 40:34Speaker 1: meeting the husband. But then as I was moving into
- 40:37Speaker 1: the room, I just noticed there was like, like you
- 40:42Speaker 1: know how kids put like like stickers on the wall.
- 40:48Speaker 1: It was a whole bunch of kids stuff in there,
- 40:51Speaker 1: and I was like, how y'all not have any kids,
- 40:53Speaker 1: but this room has been occupied by a kid before.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It was just the vibe was just really weird. So
- 41:00Speaker 1: I was like, I feel like, if I move here,
- 41:02Speaker 1: I'm never gonna leave this house. So I decided not
- 41:05Speaker 1: to stay there. Oh yeah, that's that's pretty sketch. It
- 41:08Speaker 1: was gotch. We might never have known who you were
- 41:10Speaker 1: because they would no really for real, Hey, we gotta
- 41:13Speaker 1: stop the interview real quick to tell you about our
- 41:15Speaker 1: partners at odd Socks are presenting sponsor here at the

- 42:19Speaker 1: did you have? You watched Barbarian yet on HBO Max.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Uh uh. It's a fucked up movie, but it's it's
- 42:24Speaker 1: pretty good. You should watch it. But there's like a
- 42:26Speaker 1: this guy like keeps like girls like under his house
- 42:29Speaker 1: and it's I Kiss the girls kind of but like
- 42:32Speaker 1: the inbred weird version. It's kind of wild, but yeah,
- 42:36Speaker 1: shout out to Barbarian. All right, so I was gonna
- 42:41Speaker 1: call it an EP. Almost fucked up the project. The
- 42:44Speaker 1: six pieces out right now pretty much music, Single Life,
- 42:49Speaker 1: Pretty bitch, music is on the Way, is on the way?
- 42:53Speaker 1: What's your favorite song on the single life? A favorite?
- 43:01Speaker 1: That's a stupid answer. No, for real, Damn. Why you
- 43:05Speaker 1: gotta be so mean because you gotta pick what I
- 43:07Speaker 1: gotta pick one? Okay, what's today? What's the mood? I
- 43:11Speaker 1: don't know what is your mood right now? Right now?
- 43:13Speaker 1: What's your favorite? Right now? What's my favorite? Mm? They
- 43:21Speaker 1: all got different vibes. You butt down in somebody, oops, Jesus,
- 43:28Speaker 1: I don't know m all of them, all of them. Yeah,
- 43:32Speaker 1: that's a typical, typical thing to say about your new music. Yeah,
- 43:36Speaker 1: but it's a real answer. I respect it. Yeah, well,
- 43:43Speaker 1: all of them. And we're gonna get the album at
- 43:48Speaker 1: the beginning of the year, sometime sometime, maybe first quarter.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I'm not sure yet. I'm not sure yet. I still
- 43:55Speaker 1: got to heat up some more. What does that mean?
- 43:59Speaker 1: It means just you know, hitting my name back up.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I feel like your name is I mean, you're sweetiem M.
- 44:07Speaker 1: It's funny when people say that. I don't know what
- 44:09Speaker 1: that means because I still feel like I still I
- 44:13Speaker 1: don't feel like that. Whatever that means, Hey, that's dope.
- 44:17Speaker 1: That means that you're still very motivated and you know
- 44:20Speaker 1: you're not content with where you are. M M. That's
- 44:23Speaker 1: what happened to a lot of rappers that get popping
- 44:25Speaker 1: and they they end up like a little pump. Yeah damn,
- 44:34Speaker 1: I mean, fuck little pump. He put my number online?
- 44:37Speaker 1: He did? Yeah, fuck him? Why he do that? Because
- 44:40Speaker 1: he's a wean. You get dig picts. No, but you
- 44:44Speaker 1: want me to let me show you what I got?
- 44:45Speaker 1: What it wasn't blurred out though, hold on, I gotta
- 44:50Speaker 1: show you this. This is terrible. So he put my
- 44:53Speaker 1: number up because you still got the same number. Yeah,
- 44:55Speaker 1: I mean it was. He put it up for like
- 44:57Speaker 1: five minutes. So why which I number? Because we did
- 45:01Speaker 1: an interview and I asked him in the interview if
- 45:03Speaker 1: he thought Jay Cole predicted his career properly, because you know,
- 45:06Speaker 1: j Cole said he was going to fall off. And uh,
- 45:10Speaker 1: I mean it was a good interview. I mean I guess,
- 45:13Speaker 1: but they were like, hey, like ten minutes before the
- 45:16Speaker 1: interview was going to drop. They were like, you gotta
- 45:18Speaker 1: you guys. They didn't even ask. His manager was like,
- 45:22Speaker 1: you can't put that interview out, like out of nowhere,
- 45:25Speaker 1: and I was like, what do you mean, I can't?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Uh huh, you know what I'm saying? Like what? So
- 45:28Speaker 1: the interview came out and then he put my phone on. Bro,
- 45:32Speaker 1: But this is the kind of shit I was getting, oh,
- 45:36Speaker 1: pasty white tits in my text messages, Like I didn't
- 45:40Speaker 1: even know Little Pump had fans like that anymore. That
- 45:43Speaker 1: would just like this one's crazy, the devil masonary Ulimani. Whatever, Bro,
- 45:48Speaker 1: I'll sign Pump hit me up. This is my ig.
- 45:50Speaker 1: I'm seventeen years old. Oh they thought you was low Pump. Yes,
- 45:54Speaker 1: oh because the number he said, everybody call me. Yeah.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And then like, you know, you can imagine the type
- 46:04Speaker 1: of person that would attempt to call Little Pump in
- 46:06Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, Like what kind of people they are?
- 46:08Speaker 1: You know what I mean? And that's exactly who was
- 46:09Speaker 1: hitting me up. I was driving the San Diego and
- 46:11Speaker 1: my shit was going crazy. Oh my goodness, did you
- 46:14Speaker 1: have to block some people? I just put my phone
- 46:17Speaker 1: in airplane mode for like an hour. Oh okay, so
- 46:19Speaker 1: you didn't get nothing. Yeah, I was all right, I
- 46:22Speaker 1: know what's happening here. This motherfucker damn it terrible? Yeah yeah, anyway,
- 46:27Speaker 1: all right, So look, I can't wait to hear the
- 46:28Speaker 1: new album the EP, well it's not an EP, the
- 46:30Speaker 1: six packets out anything going on with Icy. I know
- 46:34Speaker 1: you've got gear, you'd be doing collabs and like what
- 46:36Speaker 1: else march starch, So you got the merch game is stupid,
- 46:41Speaker 1: it's nice, cute, little I'm just everything will get bigger
- 46:44Speaker 1: as I grow. But this is just like a reintroduction.
- 46:47Speaker 1: So the merch is like like a four piece. Your
- 46:50Speaker 1: nails are long, only get the long tics Does that
- 46:55Speaker 1: make anything difficult than life, like calling somebody or wiping
- 46:59Speaker 1: your ass? No, I'm used to it. It's like an
- 47:02Speaker 1: extension of my body. So you have to like do
- 47:04Speaker 1: the wrap though, right, like when you're white, you have
- 47:08Speaker 1: to wrap around like your hand. You can't just like
- 47:13Speaker 1: with nails like that. Can you demonstrate what that looks like? Okay,
- 47:16Speaker 1: so if I had nails like you, I would assume
- 47:20Speaker 1: that I would have to take the toilet paper and
- 47:22Speaker 1: I would wrap my hand so then you can. But
- 47:28Speaker 1: what happens if you wrap it too tight? I don't know.
- 47:33Speaker 1: You might have a shitty hand. Have you ever had
- 47:35Speaker 1: a shitty hand? Definitely two of you at some point
- 47:41Speaker 1: in time. Speak for yourself. Everybody in life has had
- 47:47Speaker 1: a rough goat once or twice. You had that single
- 47:52Speaker 1: single plot toilet paper that you know in my in
- 47:58Speaker 1: my Bust through me. Yeah, anyway, sweetie is here. Appreciate
- 48:04Speaker 1: you covered through. Go listen to the new music. I'm
- 48:10Speaker 1: gonna say, just go and press play on the pussy song,
- 48:13Speaker 1: pussy track three, right, yeah, yeah, pussy there you go,
- 48:17Speaker 1: and then what's the first one? First song? I don't
- 48:20Speaker 1: say my goodness, that was a very aggressive record. Yeah,
- 48:25Speaker 1: I like that. I also feel like my woman out there.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah, well don't say nothing. Go listen there
- 48:35Speaker 1: it is. You gotta start getting these NBA signed. You
- 48:38Speaker 1: know what. I was thinking that, But that's like, how
- 48:41Speaker 1: do you just like, like, look, I appreciate the date
- 48:46Speaker 1: to Olive Garden or wherever someone takes you whatever. I
- 48:50Speaker 1: course do. Listen. You told me how you eat your McDonald's.
- 48:54Speaker 1: I totally believe that you like all of garden because
- 48:57Speaker 1: it's crazy it is so good. With that being said,
- 49:00Speaker 1: here's a contract. If this goes any further, I'd like
- 49:04Speaker 1: to know that this stays between you and I. Okay,
- 49:07Speaker 1: I'll have it. You can send it out for me,
- 49:10Speaker 1: and then you could sue him. Yeah. I could be
- 49:11Speaker 1: your lawyer. Just hire me. I don't have a law
- 49:13Speaker 1: to agree on any but I could figure it out.
- 49:14Speaker 1: You know, I think they'd be scared of you. Yeah. Maybe, Yeah,
- 49:18Speaker 1: there it is, sweetie. Buyout buyer
