- 0:04Speaker 1: Okay, we're overlooking what they call Fort Palm Bay. It's
- 0:09Speaker 1: a little foggy today. Got a little swimming pool out here.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Where are we? Look at this place. This place is gorgeous. Now,
- 0:17Speaker 1: this place is a mess. You got a two-bedroom, really? Oh,
- 0:22Speaker 1: my God. Whoa. Kitchen. Listen, donate a little bit of money.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Prefer like 500 buckos. Come out here into Montauk. Look
- 0:33Speaker 1: how beautiful it is. Outdoor pool, indoor pool, tennis courts.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Thank God I bought it 25 years ago. So that's
- 0:45Speaker 1: a good thing. And they rent it out. So it's $ 1, 200
- 0:49Speaker 1: a night. And I'm only saying that because it's worth
- 0:52Speaker 1: probably $ 10, 000 a night because it's gorgeous out here in Montauk.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's all nature. It's wonderful. It's a beautiful place. And
- 1:01Speaker 1: you can take the train, get right out here in
- 1:05Speaker 1: the bottom of the hill and walk up. Now we
- 1:08Speaker 1: have a shuttle. I mean, come on. It's beautiful. It's
- 1:13Speaker 1: become a very, very, very well-known, popular place, Montauk. We're
- 1:18Speaker 1: just all lucky. Oh, boy, I should make you a
- 1:21Speaker 1: little crazier. That's a little better. All right, so with
- 1:24Speaker 1: this in mind, hey, boy, Dolly Parton. And we were fortunate,
- 1:31Speaker 1: I was fortunate to start 72 at CBS. I write
- 1:34Speaker 1: about that in this week's newsletter. And I write about
- 1:43Speaker 1: her because I loved her. And everybody loved her. And
- 1:50Speaker 1: she was just a tribute to humanity and kindness and giving.
- 1:59Speaker 1: and so positive. I, uh, we put a story of,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I was lucky to work on the Cal Burnett show.
- 2:06Speaker 1: She was on Cal Burnett a lot of times. And, uh,
- 2:09Speaker 1: because those two are just such, such a pair. So wonderful.
- 2:15Speaker 1: They have talent beyond talent. And, uh, I, I just
- 2:21Speaker 1: couldn't be any happier that I was honored to get
- 2:24Speaker 1: to work on that, that show. So we, We show
- 2:27Speaker 1: a little bit of Dolly singing with Carol. A little
- 2:32Speaker 1: funny story. When I came back from California, I worked
- 2:36Speaker 1: in a kangaroo show. And one time Dolly came into
- 2:40Speaker 1: the studio on 57th Street Broadcast Center. And lo and behold,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the word got out. She was a superstar. And gorgeous.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And beautiful. And everybody loved her. The whole place stopped.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Everybody got to their monitors and watched Dolly be part
- 3:02Speaker 1: of the show. That's a big deal in CBS. Well,
- 3:09Speaker 1: we're out here and just went to a wonderful event.
- 3:13Speaker 1: We're editing it up now with a lot of people
- 3:16Speaker 1: talking about health. Many renowned Dr. Rajas and Terpens and...
- 3:25Speaker 1: Hiltons and a lot of people who are investing their
- 3:28Speaker 1: money and time and effort into making us live longer.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And so that's the good news, all right? So I
- 3:35Speaker 1: don't think you're going anywhere so quickly because the opportunity
- 3:39Speaker 1: to stay here on Mother Earth longer is becoming more
- 3:46Speaker 1: of a reality, okay? Lifespans are increasing and they're coming
- 3:51Speaker 1: up with better ideas and better thoughts and better realities
- 3:55Speaker 1: to science, okay? And AI will help in many situations
- 4:01Speaker 1: because they can now do big numbers and see the patterns.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So pay attention to it. In fact, one had a
- 4:12Speaker 1: security device in your home that could tell whether somebody
- 4:15Speaker 1: was okay, could tell if somebody's heart rate was concerning,
- 4:24Speaker 1: blood pressure, as well. Um, 40 feet from the, from
- 4:29Speaker 1: the device. So just a lot of good things. So
- 4:31Speaker 1: you're going to hear about some of that stuff next week,
- 4:33Speaker 1: but this week we have a prayer there for, uh,
- 4:36Speaker 1: for Dolly, for those of the lost people, St. Francis
- 4:38Speaker 1: of Assisi. So, uh, peace prayer. Um, let's think about our, our,
- 4:46Speaker 1: our lives and the way we're proceeding, uh, pay due
- 4:49Speaker 1: respect to those that aren't with us anymore. And, uh,
- 4:56Speaker 1: Let's just all live together. Join us on September 21st
- 5:00Speaker 1: to watch the International Day of Peace. But physically, come
- 5:04Speaker 1: on down to Times Square on September 19th. I know
- 5:08Speaker 1: the show is blowing up. People want to come in
- 5:10Speaker 1: from all over the world. Some can't get in because
- 5:14Speaker 1: of visas. But it's coming together. And we'll be announcing
- 5:19Speaker 1: next week some of the participants, which you're going to say, oh,
- 5:23Speaker 1: my God, we got to be there. And so, especially
- 5:27Speaker 1: if you're in the New York area, it's 2 p.m.
- 5:30Speaker 1: to 9 p.m. A lot of good stuff. All right,
- 5:33Speaker 1: we love you. We thank you for all these years.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Since 1998, we're doing a good news broadcast. Our little
- 5:40Speaker 1: happy face here. We trademarked a long, long time ago.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And a lot of good things. Plus, we'll show our movie,
- 5:50Speaker 1: Woodstock Forever, Peace, Love, and Hope. And I hope you
- 5:54Speaker 1: enjoy it. It needs a lot more work, but we're
- 5:57Speaker 1: getting it out finally, and we're promoting the fact that
- 6:00Speaker 1: we're getting it out since we started in 1989. All righty, well,
- 6:05Speaker 1: these are the good things of life. We're lucky ones
- 6:12Speaker 1: to be breathing and living and not having some stupid
- 6:15Speaker 1: drone throw something on top of our head. Let's calm down, world.
- 6:20Speaker 1: All right, so September 15th, 21st, the International Day of Peace.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Pause the world for a moment, a silence. Ringo Starr,
- 6:28Speaker 1: we request it. And from the United Nations, it's a
- 6:33Speaker 1: declared day. 193 countries agree to it. So let's see
- 6:37Speaker 1: if we can get the people on those borders or
- 6:40Speaker 1: on borders. There really is no borders. That's a crock.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And we're one world, one people. Look, Mother Earth you
- 6:49Speaker 1: better take care of as well. As Dr. Jane Goodall said,
- 6:52Speaker 1: you don't take care of nature and Mother Earth, and
- 6:54Speaker 1: it's going to be tough to have peace, okay? And
- 6:57Speaker 1: as Pete Seeger said, water wars, okay? No water here
- 7:02Speaker 1: or there and lots of other places. Well, I just
- 7:08Speaker 1: last night heard desalination, another new concept for that process.
- 7:13Speaker 1: So we've got a lot on the plate here. Hope
- 7:18Speaker 1: we need some more helps. A lot of people. We
- 7:22Speaker 1: need people to help us. You can call me at 9-1-1-7-6-8-7-1-7-9-0.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And volunteer, please. What we're doing is a non-profit, 501c.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Everything we get goes into the Good News Corporation, okay?
- 7:44Speaker 1: So the more we put in, the more... We can promote, okay?
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's the bottom line. Promote that there is good in
- 7:51Speaker 1: the world. Promote it, okay? Because there's mostly the world's good,
- 7:56Speaker 1: thank God. If not, we wouldn't even be here. Okay,
- 7:59Speaker 1: that's the end of the story. Thank you very much
- 8:02Speaker 1: for joining in and listening. And happy weekend. Take care
- 8:09Speaker 1: and drive safe and be safe and smart, all right?
- 8:13Speaker 1: And hug your friends, your family, your neighbors. Be kind.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Be kind.
