  morning with the Jefferson County Fair, which got underway yesterday, is Amy listl

  We're doing good. How are you going? I'm doing fantastic. I'm

  very jealous of you. What a life that's got to be. Coordinating with

  the Jefferson County Fair, as mentioned kicked off yesterday. I know you guys

  had the big tractor poll yesterday. You're gonna be doing that again tonight.

  the history of the Jefferson County Fair eighteen fifty two. This is this fair

  has been around a while, asn't it. Yeah, we're actually celebrating our

  one hundred and seventies a year this year for the Jefferson County Fair, and
• 1:10
  it's Year of the Arts. Every year we pick a theme and we try
• 1:14
  to do our programming around something specific that relates to the fair. So we've
• 1:19
  got open air artists this year doing lives painting demonstrations. They're going to sell
• 1:23
  their artwork and then a lot of different things going on for that. So
• 1:29
  that's how we kicked off the fair yesterday, which was a good attraction to
• 1:33
  have because we did feel with some rain, but we were able to do
• 1:37
  our tractor poll and we're looking forward to join our truck poll tonight. And
• 1:42
  we do have a tractor pole this morning at ten thirty. So wow,
• 1:45
  a lot's going on here. Yeah, I know, I was checking out
• 1:48
  the website and just kind of looking at all the different the different events and
• 1:53
  exhibits, and of course you can't have a fair without without showing livestock,
• 1:57
  and you've got you guys at the Jefferson County Fair have plenty of that as

  well, don't you. We do. Yeah, we have a multiple email

  events going on every single day. So today we have swine, horses,
• 2:12
  ghosts, poultry, rabbits, and deery tonight, so we're almost hitting all
• 2:15
  the species today. If you want to come out and watch those, that
• 2:20
  should be. It should be exciting all day to day and then starting tomorrow
• 2:23
  night under the grandstand. I know you guys got it's a big name,
• 2:27
  big score for you, and that's fantastic, And I know tickets. I
• 2:30
  think tickets still available George thorough Good in the Destroyers? Am I am?

  I seeing that right for tomorrow night. You are correct. Yes, we're

  super excited to have George so Good in the Destroyers and there are still tickets

  available. You do need to purchase a ticket in order to see that event,

  and it does include your gate admission, so you can come and enjoy
• 2:49
  the fair all day long and then stay for the show. Well, that

  Saturday night. Oh yeah, times. I think it's Friday, Saturday,

  us about Gabby Country right, who's a country artist, former American idol and

  who's got a lot of great radio hits on country music. So we're excited

  to have her. Tickets available for Gabby as well. Yes, we still

  have tickets available for both concerts on both concerts include your gate admission and your

  runs through the weekend and concludes on Sunday, and I see one of

  the big events on Sunday is the Demolition Derby. It is that is a

  big highlight that we ends the fare with on Sunday at two o'clock in the
• 3:49
  Grandstand and we always have a great turnout of cars and trucks and lawn Moore's.

  We even do a kid's power wheel demo derby. So they put on
• 3:59
  a show at the Grandstan on Sunday. Oh, that should be absolutely fantastic.

  And before we wrap up, of course, you can't talk about a
• 4:06
  county fair without of course we mentioned the entertainment. We mentioned the livestock.

  We haven't mentioned the midway and of course you've got a got the full carnival
• 4:14
  and everything with this as well, don't you. We do. We have
• 4:16
  Mister Ads Magical Midways and they are an awesome carnival, great ride, great
• 4:23
  game, super clean, great staff to work with. We really enjoy having
• 4:28
  them here and they do a risk Man special every single day where you can
• 4:31
  pay one price to ride. We have Kids Day tomorrow, so from noon
• 4:36
  to five kids can ride all their rides for twenty dollars. They have some
• 4:41
  great specials going on. Oh definitely come check out to a carnival that is
• 4:45
  great and an affordable and great option there for folks and families. And it's
• 4:48
  never a bad day to get out of the fair. One final thing before
• 4:51
  we before we wrap up this morning. Amy, also I mentioned some of

  the some of the staples of fairs the food and Jefferson County Fair. Uh,

  no slouches there, that is for sure. We have a huge variety
• 5:05
  of so we have local vendors from our Quanas Club and Angry Business Club,

  just some traveling vendors. The crab Shack is always a great hit um with
• 5:15
  crabcakes and lobster rolls, snow cones, lemonade. All of your fairs food
• 5:20
  taperites are here. Do they share with you the lemonade recipe, Amy,
• 5:24
  because there and I don't know if it's if it's just the fact that it's
• 5:29
  it's the environment that you're in, but there is something with that with that
• 5:32
  County Fair lemonade that you just it just always seems to it hits the spot

  and it's just like I'm like, where what they did. They have they

  ever shared with you what the secret is to that. I do not have

  that secret recipe, but I agree with you it is a good one and

  I'm going to have to figure that out one day. We did a little

  shake behind the behind the glass, like okay, what do you guys all
