- 0:00Speaker 1: Love in Bloom or crazy stalker weirdo biatch.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's one more thing arm strong and one.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Armstrong and getty conveying our love panel.
- 0:18Speaker 3: So you said love in Bloom or crazy stalker bitch
- 0:22Speaker 3: psycho Biach, Yes, exactly, Okay, but that.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Question will be decided by the love panel.
- 0:30Speaker 3: That's always the problem with that is just it's it's
- 0:33Speaker 3: it's it's whether or not the other person's interested in you.
- 0:37Speaker 1: All love.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Like chasing someone's stuff is it's just so romantic and
- 0:48Speaker 3: well received if the other person's interested, if they're.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Not, And he never gave up, and now we've been
- 0:52Speaker 1: married for fifty years, right, beautiful?
- 0:55Speaker 3: And I said no five times and I came out
- 0:57Speaker 3: aside and he was waiting by my car with a rose.
- 1:00Speaker 3: If you kind of liked the guy, that's just awesome.
- 1:03Speaker 3: If you don't like the guy, you call the police
- 1:07Speaker 3: and get a restraining order and maybe pepper spraym.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Or send your brothers to beat him down. Yeah, right, exactly. Ah, yes,
- 1:14Speaker 1: but this is a gal on a mission. Love and
- 1:19Speaker 1: Bloom are crazy stalker psychobiac. Let's find out. Thirteen Michael,
- 1:24Speaker 1: I saw this.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Really cute guy at the grocery store the other day,
- 1:26Speaker 4: so naturally, I followed him to the checkout counter, and
- 1:29Speaker 4: when he gave the cashier his credit card, I peeped
- 1:32Speaker 4: it to see what his name was, and then I
- 1:34Speaker 4: googled him and found his social media profiles, and I
- 1:38Speaker 4: was able.
- 1:39Speaker 2: To tell that he was single.
- 1:40Speaker 4: So I went through his friend's list and I found
- 1:43Speaker 4: his mother's page, and then I looked through his mother's
- 1:45Speaker 4: page and I saw that she was a member of
- 1:47Speaker 4: this book club that's in my area. So I went
- 1:50Speaker 4: to the book club meeting and I met his mom
- 1:52Speaker 4: there and she just thought I was so nice, and
- 1:55Speaker 4: I brought it up randomly in conversation that I was single,
- 1:58Speaker 4: and she let me know that she had a son
- 1:59Speaker 4: that single also that lived in the area, and maybe
- 2:02Speaker 4: it would be cool for us to get together and
- 2:04Speaker 4: chat sometime. So I gave her my number, which she
- 2:07Speaker 4: gave to her son, and this morning he texted me
- 2:10Speaker 4: and asked if I'd like to get together this weekend
- 2:12Speaker 4: and do something. So I guess we're going to go
- 2:15Speaker 4: on a date. I really excited.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Wait until he sees this video and goes, oh my god,
- 2:22Speaker 5: who did I go on a date with?
- 2:24Speaker 2: Wow?
- 2:25Speaker 3: That's a pretty successful, uh effort she made there. I
- 2:28Speaker 3: don't know how it's going to turn out, but that's insane.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Well, we have a little update for you. That young
- 2:33Speaker 1: man is now dissolving in a thing as that psycho
- 2:40Speaker 1: decided he wasn't worthy of living in. She is now
- 2:44Speaker 1: wearing his skin as a garment and his fingerbones as
- 2:50Speaker 1: a necklace. Follow up segment.
- 2:56Speaker 6: All right, all right, so dude run from her.
- 3:01Speaker 3: God, she actually went to the book club meeting and
- 3:06Speaker 3: got to know his mom.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Oh wow, because he's a cute guy. I mean, look,
- 3:15Speaker 1: let's all recognize. I can see a dozen attractive women,
- 3:20Speaker 1: there will be one that'll like make my brain explode
- 3:23Speaker 1: for whatever, genetic, anthropolog anthropological who knows why it happens. Reason,
- 3:29Speaker 1: Doctor Freud had his own opinions whatever, and maybe it
- 3:33Speaker 1: was one of those. Maybe it was one of those.
- 3:36Speaker 1: She saw him and just her jaw dropped. It was like,
- 3:40Speaker 1: oh my god, for whatever reason, now certainly concocting some
- 3:47Speaker 1: sort of can you help me out to the car
- 3:48Speaker 1: with this or that would have been a hell of
- 3:51Speaker 1: a lot more normal than the whole Sherlock Holmes routine.
- 3:54Speaker 1: How troubled are we by the detective job and the
- 3:57Speaker 1: roots she took.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Jack, I'll let you go first if you want. Man.
- 4:07Speaker 3: The uh, the going to the book club and meeting
- 4:13Speaker 3: mom and getting to know her, that is that is
- 4:15Speaker 3: a that's a different level.
- 4:17Speaker 1: That really feels to me like something that ends up
- 4:20Speaker 1: with somebody's cat getting murdered.
- 4:21Speaker 3: So, Katie, you're more up on the modern world of
- 4:24Speaker 3: how this is handling, how do we feel about just
- 4:26Speaker 3: like noticing the name on the credit card and doing
- 4:28Speaker 3: a little research on online.
- 4:31Speaker 6: So that see I think that it was.
- 4:35Speaker 5: It got weird the second she looked at his credit
- 4:37Speaker 5: credit card to get his number his name. I like
- 4:40Speaker 5: Joe's idea, just hey, could you help me to the
- 4:42Speaker 5: car with this, or like a regular approach. But I
- 4:45Speaker 5: would be lying if I said that I hadn't met
- 4:48Speaker 5: a guy and he had given me his name and
- 4:50Speaker 5: I went home and looked him up. I've done that before,
- 4:54Speaker 5: but not you know, to the extent to go meet
- 4:56Speaker 5: his mom at a book club and then wear his
- 4:58Speaker 5: skin later.
- 4:58Speaker 6: That's weird.
- 5:00Speaker 7: Michael thoughts, Yeah, pretty psycho, I wouldn't. I'm like Katie,
- 5:04Speaker 7: I mean, maybe you look him up online, do a
- 5:06Speaker 7: little background check.
- 5:07Speaker 6: But that's it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Well, here's a little he.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Gives you his name, you don't look at his credit
- 5:13Speaker 5: card to like, kind of I don't this.
- 5:15Speaker 6: She sounds like a serial killer to me, Well, there's
- 5:17Speaker 6: a little surprise.
- 5:18Speaker 3: We're gonna talk to him live now. He's chained to
- 5:20Speaker 3: the radiator in her basement.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Help me, somebody helped me. Gosh.
- 5:27Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like a part of the story.
- 5:28Speaker 5: He goes missing and she's helping his mom look for
- 5:30Speaker 5: him at that point.
- 5:31Speaker 6: That's how these horror movies go.
- 5:33Speaker 2: She's putting up posters. Yes, exactly.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I've only become aware recently, and for reasons I won't
- 5:39Speaker 3: get into about how all you need is somebody. If
- 5:42Speaker 3: you have somebody's phone number, for instance, you can find
- 5:47Speaker 3: out everything and it costs you like a buck online.
- 5:49Speaker 3: And you got every place they've ever lived, every phone
- 5:52Speaker 3: they've ever had, all their friends.
- 5:55Speaker 6: It's family members.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yea, yeah, it's it's horrifying. I mean, it's us worrisome
- 6:00Speaker 3: as a dude. But man, if I'm a young woman
- 6:05Speaker 3: knowing that any guy who gets a hold of my
- 6:08Speaker 3: phone number at all now knows where I live and
- 6:12Speaker 3: where my friends live, and where I work and and everything.
- 6:16Speaker 3: It just yeah, it's just different world for that sort
- 6:19Speaker 3: of thing.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Of course.
- 6:20Speaker 3: On the other hand, buddy of mine pointing this out
- 6:23Speaker 3: to me their date, I remember when we were younger,
- 6:25Speaker 3: all of our names were in the phone book with
- 6:27Speaker 3: our address, all of us, all of us. If you
- 6:31Speaker 3: knew somebody's name, you could look up their address. And
- 6:33Speaker 3: it's not like everybody got abducted every day, right, And
- 6:36Speaker 3: everybody's name was in the phone book with their address.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Did the unlisted thing come later?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Is that no unlisted existed? But I never knew a
- 6:44Speaker 2: girl that was unlisted. Every girl was data. She was
- 6:46Speaker 2: writing the phone book. Okay, yeah, real rarity.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Getting back to the whole meeting mom book class book
- 6:54Speaker 1: club happened to randomly mention I was single and subter few.
- 7:00Speaker 1: That just that that is a willingness to be sneaky
- 7:06Speaker 1: and duplicitous.
- 7:07Speaker 2: That isn't her first rodeo, you know what I mean?
- 7:11Speaker 8: Yes, yes, I think we're a little bit into the
- 7:16Speaker 8: the modern attitude where everybody's so paranoid of what would
- 7:20Speaker 8: you rather run into a bear or.
- 7:21Speaker 3: A man in the woods for a woman? I mean,
- 7:24Speaker 3: just you saying, was that before unlisted was available, like
- 7:26Speaker 3: you wouldn't want your name listed in the phone Everybody
- 7:28Speaker 3: had their address and name in the phone book, and
- 7:30Speaker 3: everybody was fine with it, and everybody wasn't paranoid thinking,
- 7:33Speaker 3: oh my god, that's dangerous. A guy could look up
- 7:36Speaker 3: my address. It worked out. I mean, so, is is
- 7:39Speaker 3: culture that much worse? Are we just way more paranoid
- 7:43Speaker 3: than we?
- 7:43Speaker 2: Well?
- 7:44Speaker 1: I would point out that if I had the hots
- 7:46Speaker 1: for Jenny Smith, or even unless her name was true,
- 7:52Speaker 1: her last name was truly rare and distinctive, there'd be
- 7:56Speaker 1: eleven of them in the phone book.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I couldn't tell which one.
- 7:58Speaker 3: That wasn't my experience at all, because I lived in
- 8:00Speaker 3: small towns, everybody everybody's name. There was only one Jenny Smith,
- 8:04Speaker 3: and every town, everybody's address was right there. And I
- 8:06Speaker 3: don't remember anybody abusing it, or anybody even talking about
- 8:09Speaker 3: it being abused.
- 8:10Speaker 2: No, nope.
- 8:12Speaker 3: So what changed our pair of the reality of stalkers
- 8:17Speaker 3: or our paranoia.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Both? I don't know.
- 8:23Speaker 7: People aren't brave anymore. They don't want to just go
- 8:25Speaker 7: and ask something, ask someone out right in person, you know,
- 8:28Speaker 7: just hey, would you like to go out? Would you
- 8:29Speaker 7: like to get some coffee?
- 8:31Speaker 1: That's like gon old skills take developing, though, and we're
- 8:34Speaker 1: not letting our kids develop those social skills. I had
- 8:37Speaker 1: chatted up so many girls by the time I started college.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Just the idea of oh my god, I can't I
- 8:46Speaker 1: can't say hello to or it was just foreign to me.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It was not like I have some sort of bold
- 8:50Speaker 1: master gamesman or anything.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It was just so familiar to me. You know, hey,
- 8:55Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Well?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Please?
- 8:58Speaker 6: Phones and internet have completely smashed that skill.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I think, you know, this is a weird grab, but
- 9:05Speaker 1: it popped in my head for some reason. I can't
- 9:07Speaker 1: remember why. The other day I was thinking about it.
- 9:09Speaker 1: The old like the first Bob Seeger song with the uh,
- 9:14Speaker 1: what was the name of his band, Bob Seger in.
- 9:16Speaker 2: The Silver Bullebin.
- 9:19Speaker 1: No, No, that was before he was a solo artist,
- 9:22Speaker 1: when he was a Detroit rocker, but rambling gambling man,
- 9:26Speaker 1: the line is ain't good looking, but you know, I
- 9:29Speaker 1: ain't shy, ain't afraid to look a girl in the eye.
- 9:33Speaker 1: And hey, I've always kind of liked that line because
- 9:37Speaker 1: he was irregular guy. But b we've got a couple
- 9:41Speaker 1: of generations who are terrified to look a girl in the.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Eye and say, hey, how you doing. So they gets ray.
- 9:50Speaker 3: You think if she she found him alluring enough to
- 9:53Speaker 3: go through all that work, she should have made her
- 9:54Speaker 3: move right then.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Yeah, she's equipped with the tools to do that. Of course,
- 10:01Speaker 1: if you're an all attractive young woman, all you have
- 10:05Speaker 1: to say is so I see you like cereal.
- 10:09Speaker 5: That's good enough ice breaker right there, exactly. Yeah, I
- 10:14Speaker 5: just I have a real issue with her going on
- 10:16Speaker 5: a date with him after having done all of this
- 10:19Speaker 5: and acting like it didn't go down like that.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well yeah, like, oh.
- 10:23Speaker 5: We just so happened to meet I met your mom
- 10:25Speaker 5: at book club, like the whole the start of whatever
- 10:28Speaker 5: relationship this might be is going to be bs anyway.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's a decent point there. You can't start
- 10:33Speaker 3: with a lie and then go from there.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, this ends with a dead cat, trust me. Yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 2: if you.
- 10:40Speaker 3: If you uh yeah, if you're out with somebody and
- 10:43Speaker 3: everything like that, And then she mentions, yeah, I was
- 10:44Speaker 3: talking to your mom. Wait a second, and you know
- 10:46Speaker 3: my mom? Why do you know my mom?
- 10:49Speaker 2: This is weird.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Okay, well, let me tell you how this went down.
- 10:51Speaker 5: So I saw your credit card at the store.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'd enjoy the.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Book club that your mom is in.
- 10:58Speaker 2: You're twenty three year old woman.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You're in a book club with a bunch of sixty
- 11:02Speaker 1: four year olds.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Why I like to read, pretending you want to read
- 11:07Speaker 3: the Bridges of Madison County so you can get to
- 11:10Speaker 3: meet this old woman.
- 11:13Speaker 2: That is going too far?
- 11:15Speaker 3: God, dang it.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I had.
- 11:18Speaker 3: She was actually a student of mine when I was
- 11:20Speaker 3: teaching a class, and she showed up at my apartment
- 11:22Speaker 3: one time, the car so close to me, with a
- 11:27Speaker 3: card and some flowers and everything like that. And yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 3: it was exactly one of those if she had been
- 11:31Speaker 3: I mean, there were plenty of other students in my class,
- 11:33Speaker 3: so that if they had shown up with the garden
- 11:35Speaker 3: flowers would have been awesome, But not this person. And
- 11:39Speaker 3: so it's either awesome or it's you're a freaking psycho.
- 11:44Speaker 3: And then she came in and sat on my couch
- 11:46Speaker 3: and cried and cried and cried about how she just
- 11:48Speaker 3: had some dental work done and she thought I was
- 11:50Speaker 3: the right one for her and all.
- 11:52Speaker 2: This stuff, and it was so horrible.
- 11:54Speaker 6: This is a real story.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, heck, cats are real, sir.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry you had to work and that factors into
- 12:03Speaker 1: that's fun of her mind.
- 12:04Speaker 7: She was upset about her teeth being cleaned.
- 12:06Speaker 6: Jack, I had this root canell and I love you.
- 12:08Speaker 3: She'd had her wisdom teeth thinking out, and she's sitting
- 12:11Speaker 3: there on my couch. I don't remember how she got
- 12:12Speaker 3: in my apartment. I have vague memories of this. The
- 12:14Speaker 3: part I remember the most on counter or he let
- 12:17Speaker 3: her in. I think my roommate did, okay. I think
- 12:21Speaker 3: she said that she was a student in my class,
- 12:23Speaker 3: and he led her anyway. I come home and she
- 12:25Speaker 3: sitting on that couch and she's holding her jaw and
- 12:27Speaker 3: crying about her wisdom teeth to getting taken out, and
- 12:30Speaker 3: thought we had a special connection.
- 12:32Speaker 6: And she must have must have still been the drugs,
- 12:36Speaker 6: maybe hopefully.
- 12:37Speaker 3: But then again, it's just like I was saying, if
- 12:39Speaker 3: she had been, some of the other students would have been.
- 12:41Speaker 3: This is fantastic. But so the difference is either awesome.
- 12:46Speaker 3: There's not a lot in between. It's either awesome or
- 12:49Speaker 3: you're a psycho, which is unfortunate.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Why that story is so odd.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Having had a fair amount of uh dental work oral surgery,
- 12:58Speaker 1: my wisdom teeth removed right after my wisdom.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Teeth are removed.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Sheryl Tigues could have climbed down off the poster that
- 13:04Speaker 1: I may have had on my wall and offered to
- 13:06Speaker 1: violate the laws of God and Man with me, and
- 13:09Speaker 1: I'd have had to turn her down. So that was
- 13:11Speaker 1: one confused chick.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah oof.
- 13:17Speaker 7: In college, I had a girl. She was following me
- 13:19Speaker 7: around with flowers, and she kept complaining about her laser
- 13:22Speaker 7: eye surgery. Well, I guess that's it.
