- 0:07Speaker 1: Yo, it's your girl, Jessica and Smith and you already
- 0:10Speaker 1: know that you've entered the safe space for influencers to decompress.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Have fun and just ask God for another Do you
- 0:18Speaker 2: already know what it is?
- 0:19Speaker 1: And then you know it's about to get real to
- 0:22Speaker 1: be sure to show your girl the love and like,
- 0:26Speaker 1: how many subscribe God.
- 0:27Speaker 2: For another day?
- 0:30Speaker 3: Hey, hey, I know we could be another way.
- 0:37Speaker 2: It's a new weeknd just answer podcast. The safe space
- 0:41Speaker 2: with transparency meets transformation. I'm your girl, Jessica, as Smith
- 0:45Speaker 2: and I do nothing without my girl does a rate.
- 0:49Speaker 2: There's a rate. That's a rate. That's all right, that's
- 0:52Speaker 2: a rate, right, Hey, hi Jessica, girl, Jessica, he's so
- 1:01Speaker 2: sweet to trust in Jesus. Listen, just to take him
- 1:07Speaker 2: at his words. Yes, listen, that's where that's where I
- 1:12Speaker 2: am taking the Lord at his word and just standing
- 1:15Speaker 2: on that. How you feeling does ring? I'm good? I'm good.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Just just just grateful, Okay, what's that? I'm just grateful,
- 1:27Speaker 2: Just grateful four to be here. Yeah's as simple as
- 1:33Speaker 2: as simple as that sounds. Just grateful to be here
- 1:35Speaker 2: because we're just in a time where it's just a
- 1:37Speaker 2: lot happening, you know, and if nothing else, I'm just
- 1:44Speaker 2: grateful to be here. Yeah, yeah, to not only be here,
- 1:49Speaker 2: but to be present like because I think that sometimes
- 1:56Speaker 2: we are grateful to have the SS but not do
- 2:00Speaker 2: anything with the excess. And to be present in the
- 2:02Speaker 2: excess means that you are moving according to the the
- 2:09Speaker 2: manufactor of you, like the build of you. You know,
- 2:13Speaker 2: we haven't talked brought up our next word of the
- 2:16Speaker 2: year is builder. Build by the word is the word? Listen, listen.
- 2:23Speaker 2: We're going on to two months, going on two months
- 2:28Speaker 2: of about May. First we settled it increased media. Uh,
- 2:35Speaker 2: this this episode is brought to you by increased media. Media,
- 2:41Speaker 2: but that's our business. But I'm really excited about today
- 2:49Speaker 2: to say today's episode because the Lord. You know, I've
- 2:51Speaker 2: been on my journey, y'all, journey, journey. Pray for your girl,
- 2:58Speaker 2: your girl, pray for you, Pray for me. You see,
- 3:02Speaker 2: this shirt is a little lose for a reason. Listen.
- 3:06Speaker 2: But this journey has been interesting, it's been different. And
- 3:10Speaker 2: I'll go ahead and shay it. I've been fasting. By
- 3:12Speaker 2: the time y'all see this, I'll probably be done with
- 3:14Speaker 2: the fast unless the Lord extended but I pray the Lord,
- 3:17Speaker 2: you know, to have your way. Lord. But but been
- 3:22Speaker 2: fasting and this fast has been definitely different the type
- 3:25Speaker 2: of fast that we've been doing or I've been doing,
- 3:27Speaker 2: because it's been me. That was a week. It's been me.
- 3:32Speaker 2: And the Lord told me I was gonna do this
- 3:34Speaker 2: in April, Thank you Holy Spirit. The Lord told I
- 3:36Speaker 2: was gonna do this in April, and I didn't understand why.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I'm still right now in the situation fully understanding the
- 3:44Speaker 2: why behind it. But I can't justify disobeying God in
- 3:49Speaker 2: this because I don't know the reason why I'm doing it.
- 3:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Like, that's what we do.
- 3:54Speaker 2: He'd be like, I don't know what that means. Is
- 3:56Speaker 2: this is me. That's why sometimes I just have to
- 3:59Speaker 2: once I hear it, I may ask Lord maybe for
- 4:03Speaker 2: some clarity instructions, and even if I don't get understanding
- 4:05Speaker 2: on it, I just have to still just move on
- 4:08Speaker 2: it because otherwise I'll be in disobedience. Yeah, I will
- 4:12Speaker 2: be in disobedience.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I think that's another opportunity for us as believers. And
- 4:19Speaker 2: I think I feel like it ties into what I
- 4:20Speaker 2: heard the Lord say that we just need to lean
- 4:22Speaker 2: into this morning. So it's just this is a flow,
- 4:25Speaker 2: this is this, this is a morning, this is a flow.
- 4:29Speaker 2: It so I already told you so I heard the
- 4:32Speaker 2: I heard the Lord talk to me this morning, and
- 4:37Speaker 2: he was just I did a TikTok yesterday, and on
- 4:40Speaker 2: that TikTok, I expressed that I felt led to go
- 4:46Speaker 2: to watch Omar's episodes yesterday and the ones we recorded.
- 4:55Speaker 2: So I was already watching the Men of God. And
- 4:58Speaker 2: if y'alln't know who I'm talking about, our Elta Cory,
- 5:01Speaker 2: we'll put the episodes, the episodes that we did with him,
- 5:04Speaker 2: so y'all can have reference. But Omar Elta Corey is
- 5:07Speaker 2: a phenomenal man of God. We got to interview him
- 5:10Speaker 2: content to Cash King, I like to keep it short
- 5:12Speaker 2: for him. But if you need help on your platform,
- 5:15Speaker 2: especially like YouTube and learning how to engage your audience
- 5:18Speaker 2: through teaching and webinars, you might want to check him out.
- 5:22Speaker 2: So we were, we were discussed. I was watching Omar
- 5:28Speaker 2: Omar's episode on his platform and I went to rewatch ours. Now,
- 5:33Speaker 2: I haven't rewatched it since I first watched it last year,
- 5:35Speaker 2: and it was because of the rebuke. Let me see
- 5:42Speaker 2: if y'all heard us, we said multiple times, hey, we
- 5:44Speaker 2: switched it up because we really got a live coaching
- 5:49Speaker 2: from Omar and it was good, Like it was good.
- 5:52Speaker 2: But also I'm so glad that my sister was there
- 5:55Speaker 2: with me because I would have just changed literally everything.
- 5:59Speaker 2: And because she was there, she was able to ground
- 6:03Speaker 2: me in the belief that wait, take me, spit up
- 6:07Speaker 2: long or whatever. And so basically he was saying in
- 6:10Speaker 2: a nuts shell that we were taking too long to
- 6:12Speaker 2: get to the point. And so I was afraid to
- 6:16Speaker 2: address that again, Thank you Holy Spirit. I was afraid
- 6:19Speaker 2: to see that again because it reminded me of my lack.
- 6:24Speaker 2: It reminded me of the place where I used to be.
- 6:28Speaker 2: It reminded me of the feeling I had in that
- 6:34Speaker 2: moment because I wanted to impress somebody I was impressed by.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And so because of that, I avoided looking at it again. Wow,
- 6:45Speaker 2: I avoided watching a great moment again. I went, and
- 6:51Speaker 2: when I reviewed it, Desiree, I had to go back
- 6:55Speaker 2: to myself and say, that's what I said on TikTok.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Why did I avoid that for so long? Because the
- 7:01Speaker 2: intro was what the problem was, and he even said, hey,
- 7:05Speaker 2: after we got through the whole intro thing, the show part,
- 7:08Speaker 2: we went in and it was a great conversation. He
- 7:11Speaker 2: said this. I wasn't just saying this, but in my
- 7:14Speaker 2: mind I was like, man, I don't know if he
- 7:15Speaker 2: really enjoy himself because I did this wrong, that one thing,
- 7:18Speaker 2: that one thing. I don't think I'm good enough because
- 7:22Speaker 2: or I don't think I left a good impression because
- 7:25Speaker 2: the intro wasn't introing, it wasn't to his standard right.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And so when I heard the Lord say this morning,
- 7:34Speaker 2: he said, I need you to tell my people to
- 7:35Speaker 2: get over it. I need I need for my people
- 7:41Speaker 2: to know it's time to get over it. And just
- 7:44Speaker 2: like me, you might be in a situation or had
- 7:47Speaker 2: some moments, just moments. You might have had moments that
- 7:52Speaker 2: shifted your identity or gave you false understanding. It's not
- 8:00Speaker 2: even a lot, it's false understanding. Yeah, that that part happened.
- 8:04Speaker 2: But also and you're forgetting the and he did. He said,
- 8:08Speaker 2: he enjoyed himself. Hey, if you change this, let me
- 8:10Speaker 2: elevate you. That's a part of being coach, as a
- 8:12Speaker 2: part of allowing somebody to push you. What you gonna say.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I was wanna say. I think the thing, the dope
- 8:17Speaker 2: thing is you were wondering if he enjoyed himself. Well,
- 8:21Speaker 2: we was there like two hours, not because we not
- 8:25Speaker 2: not because we were not that we didn't want to
- 8:28Speaker 2: be We wanted to respect this time. But he was like,
- 8:30Speaker 2: oh yeah, let's just keep talking. We was like, okay.
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's how we got two episodes out of that time.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So I think it's interesting because because that one piece
- 8:39Speaker 2: was so loud in the moment that it kind of
- 8:40Speaker 2: blinded the rest of the rest of what happened in
- 8:43Speaker 2: that conversation. Right, So good man, when I say that,
- 8:46Speaker 2: he told us stuff that he hadn't even released yet,
- 8:49Speaker 2: about his father, grieving, grieving his father and all this
- 8:52Speaker 2: stuff like that. And but I watched it. I watched
- 8:57Speaker 2: the second one first, well the first one first when
- 8:59Speaker 2: because we switched to and we talked about YouTube on
- 9:02Speaker 2: the second one. But I could tell the difference. I
- 9:04Speaker 2: could tell that bothered me. I could tell the lack
- 9:09Speaker 2: of confidence I had when we were talking about the
- 9:11Speaker 2: YouTube thing. I was still asking good questions, but it
- 9:16Speaker 2: wasn't myself. I allowed a moment to shift me. I
- 9:21Speaker 2: allowed a moment to shift the confidence I had. He
- 9:24Speaker 2: agreed to be on my platform. It wasn't his platform,
- 9:28Speaker 2: it was my platform. He just provided a suggestion based
- 9:32Speaker 2: on his expertise. Right, And I'm grateful that I had
- 9:37Speaker 2: that moment because some of us won't go back to
- 9:42Speaker 2: a thing just for the simple fact that it made
- 9:47Speaker 2: us feel bad. But it was good for us. And
- 9:51Speaker 2: we avoid a moment that was actually good and say
- 9:55Speaker 2: the moment was bad or the experience was bad because
- 9:59Speaker 2: a se or five minutes of an experience. And so
- 10:03Speaker 2: the Lord was dealing, Oh, let me not, because I've
- 10:07Speaker 2: been playing Anita Wilson all morning. You go, come on here,
- 10:10Speaker 2: almost you are the source of my strength. Listen, listen,
- 10:16Speaker 2: let me go there, let me go. You know, sold
- 10:18Speaker 2: the people and it's okay, It's okay. And so I
- 10:23Speaker 2: heard the Lord say that we live in moments too long,
- 10:27Speaker 2: way way too long. We thank you, Holy Spirit. We
- 10:31Speaker 2: give the moments that we experience that we don't like,
- 10:37Speaker 2: we give too much access to it to our lives.
- 10:41Speaker 2: We allowed the access of that moment to remain with us. Therefore,
- 10:45Speaker 2: we're believing that the moment was supposed to be a lifetime. Right.
- 10:50Speaker 2: That's why I mean but it shows up in other ways.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Like me, for one, when I date, I date for real,
- 10:54Speaker 2: like I'm with one man for a long time. It's
- 10:57Speaker 2: supposed to be a moment. It will supposed to be
- 11:02Speaker 2: a moment. Shout out to my brother in law over here.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I just want you all to know. Here, cadero, here
- 11:08Speaker 2: we can say, we can say your name, my life, hay,
- 11:10Speaker 2: brother in law. That's real one right now, Okay, anyway,
- 11:14Speaker 2: But moments, we we we feed into the moment. We
- 11:18Speaker 2: watch this, We invest in the moment. And the way
- 11:23Speaker 2: we invest is time spent not giving over it. Time
- 11:29Speaker 2: spent not giving over it is your investment in a
- 11:31Speaker 2: moment that shouldn't have been invested in investing something else,
- 11:34Speaker 2: invest in the time that God is dealing with you
- 11:37Speaker 2: and and grooming you and loving, or invest in that
- 11:41Speaker 2: we have put a deposit in those spaces because we
- 11:44Speaker 2: we're like, you know what, let me feed into the
- 11:46Speaker 2: truth that I once believe, which wasn't really the truth
- 11:50Speaker 2: I'm saying. I think we don't allow the moments to
- 11:53Speaker 2: do what they're designed to do. That's so good you
- 11:56Speaker 2: talk about it, even if you think about healing, right,
- 11:59Speaker 2: if you're walking through a process walking through a journey.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Sometimes you don't know where you are on the journey
- 12:05Speaker 2: until you encounter a moment, until you encounter a person,
- 12:09Speaker 2: until you encounter a situation that may not be good,
- 12:13Speaker 2: but that moment can be used to show you where
- 12:16Speaker 2: you are in your journey. So you encounter the moment.
- 12:19Speaker 2: If the response is look at that, yeah, okay lord,
- 12:26Speaker 2: If the moment is your your emotions start to flare up,
- 12:29Speaker 2: you start to get angry, all these all these negative
- 12:32Speaker 2: things start to flare up. Then that's a moment to
- 12:34Speaker 2: be like, dang, I got a little bit more work
- 12:36Speaker 2: to do. Yeah. And it's so instead of taking it
- 12:39Speaker 2: as a moment to be like dang, I thought I've
- 12:43Speaker 2: come away, but I still got a little ways to go. Okay, Lord,
- 12:46Speaker 2: this is how I'm feeling about this. This is what
- 12:47Speaker 2: came up in this moment, instead of taking it like
- 12:51Speaker 2: and you sit in it. That's typically what happens. Like
- 12:53Speaker 2: a moment happens, and it may be a moment where
- 12:56Speaker 2: we realize that there's still some healing to do, there's
- 12:59Speaker 2: still some work to do, and we sit in it
- 13:01Speaker 2: and we take it as a negative thing instead of
- 13:03Speaker 2: looking at it as like, okay, let me progress on, right,
- 13:06Speaker 2: because the experience of the moment, and I can speak
- 13:09Speaker 2: for myself because I know I've had like there even now,
- 13:12Speaker 2: the Lord is like I need, like you said, see
- 13:14Speaker 2: any Lord, what is what is it? Because I don't
- 13:19Speaker 2: already just got out of some It's that I don't
- 13:22Speaker 2: want to experience again. I don't want to I don't
- 13:24Speaker 2: want to go back to that place. But the unique
- 13:27Speaker 2: thing about going back to that place is that you
- 13:29Speaker 2: get to deal with that place, and you get to
- 13:31Speaker 2: tell that place where it was supposed to be for you,
- 13:34Speaker 2: and you get to redefine that place. Now that I
- 13:37Speaker 2: went back to go see the Omar my my interview
- 13:41Speaker 2: with Omar, Our interview with Omar, I'm like, oh, okay,
- 13:46Speaker 2: and y'all watch this. In the middle of me watching
- 13:48Speaker 2: the episode, I commented on his YouTube or whatever because
- 13:53Speaker 2: he was teaching on how to teach right. I love
- 13:56Speaker 2: I love good teaching, so I love good teaching. He
- 13:58Speaker 2: was teaching really good. He was teaching real good, so
- 14:02Speaker 2: I comment on it, and then he comments a response.
- 14:06Speaker 2: While I'm watching that episode, he was like, let's go
- 14:11Speaker 2: see I'm gonna see you at podcasts summon, what uh
- 14:16Speaker 2: you remember me? You remember the oh me you were?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Because and you know why, I also thought that he
- 14:23Speaker 2: didn't enjoy it, because I didn't really get a you know,
- 14:26Speaker 2: this is just me being in my head because the
- 14:29Speaker 2: collaborations weren't accepted and he could have not seen him
- 14:32Speaker 2: I can, I can call it. I didn't. I didn't
- 14:35Speaker 2: give him an excuse or way out of my negative
- 14:39Speaker 2: thoughts about me. I want to say that again. I
- 14:42Speaker 2: didn't give him an excuse or way out regarding the
- 14:46Speaker 2: negative thoughts I had about me. It wasn't about him,
- 14:48Speaker 2: it was about me. So I got a question looking
- 14:51Speaker 2: at his socials. Do you see other collaborations on his
- 14:56Speaker 2: page if I pay attention to I probably don't. I
- 15:00Speaker 2: really I don't see the like even other I don't
- 15:03Speaker 2: really see other people's other content of things that he's
- 15:06Speaker 2: gone on on his page. I see his stuff. Yes,
- 15:09Speaker 2: So that's a valid point. See, perspective is everything. And
- 15:14Speaker 2: so sometimes when we're like in the moment, or I
- 15:18Speaker 2: took that moment and said, you know what, he didn't
- 15:20Speaker 2: like the intro, so he was gonna he wasn't gonna
- 15:23Speaker 2: collab with me, like we make the moment bigger than
- 15:25Speaker 2: it's supposed to be. I gave too much energy, way
- 15:29Speaker 2: too much energy, to the point where I avoided reliving
- 15:33Speaker 2: this moment. Now I'm free. Watch this. I want to
- 15:35Speaker 2: I want to give us the definition of avoidance. Okay, avoidance. Yes, So,
- 15:41Speaker 2: avoidance is the act or practice of keeping away from,
- 15:44Speaker 2: withdrawing from, or evading something under undesirable, such as a person, placed, thought,
- 15:54Speaker 2: or situation. This is what this is what Webster says.
- 15:58Speaker 2: It says, it's it is you used as a coping
- 16:01Speaker 2: mechanism to dodge uncomfortable feelings, but often perpetuates anxiety or stress.
- 16:11Speaker 2: What in the long run run. I'm gonna say that
- 16:14Speaker 2: last part again. It is used as a coping mechanism
- 16:19Speaker 2: to dodge uncomfortable feelings, but often perpetuates anxiety or stress
- 16:26Speaker 2: in the long run. And so when I choose to avoid,
- 16:30Speaker 2: I choose stress, and I choose anxiety. The thing that
- 16:34Speaker 2: came up to mind, Desiree, when I was thinking about
- 16:36Speaker 2: this was, you know how we were praying heave and down,
- 16:40Speaker 2: say God, anxiety is not my abortion. Stress your ways.
- 16:45Speaker 2: And then the thing that the Lord says, hey, this
- 16:48Speaker 2: is how you get rid of it and you say, no, God,
- 16:50Speaker 2: I don't want to sit in that no more. I
- 16:52Speaker 2: don't want to do it that way. Lord, give me
- 16:54Speaker 2: another way. I just need you to remove it. But
- 16:57Speaker 2: then we go back to what's the point of Holy Spirit?
- 17:00Speaker 3: Right?
- 17:01Speaker 2: The power is said again, that's how you, that's how,
- 17:04Speaker 2: that's how you, that's how, that's how we conquer the
- 17:07Speaker 2: things that seems inconquerable, unconquerable. I don't know, don't answer. Okay,
- 17:12Speaker 2: how do we walk this this journey out called life? Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 2: in a in a righteous, holy kind of way. We
- 17:18Speaker 2: think it's nearly impossible. It is without the Holy Spirit
- 17:22Speaker 2: because he was sent as a helper, helper, a comforter,
- 17:26Speaker 2: a guide, and the power that shall be you. So
- 17:30Speaker 2: the powers, it's not our power, is the power that's
- 17:33Speaker 2: that allows us to conquer the inconquered, unconquerable. So what
- 17:38Speaker 2: are we asking for? Are we asking for God to
- 17:42Speaker 2: remove it for us? Are we asking it for to
- 17:45Speaker 2: be removed? And the thing is is like, what's the
- 17:48Speaker 2: point in the power that's invested in us if we
- 17:51Speaker 2: never use it and we don't have power to go
- 17:53Speaker 2: back to a thing and say, you know what, let
- 17:55Speaker 2: me redefine you real quick. Let me look at you different,
- 17:58Speaker 2: let me give a different personspective, let me feel different
- 18:02Speaker 2: about it. This is something that's coming up. I've seen
- 18:05Speaker 2: the person. I've said it before, been in some domestic situations.
- 18:13Speaker 2: It was a domestic relationship. Right, I've seen that person,
- 18:17Speaker 2: and me seeing that person has been able to allow
- 18:20Speaker 2: me to go through forgiveness right on both ends. Right,
- 18:28Speaker 2: and it allowed him to be free because he was
- 18:31Speaker 2: carrying that burden as well. Right. When we avoid it,
- 18:35Speaker 2: we also avoid the opportunity to help people be free
- 18:38Speaker 2: from that moment, right, help people be delivered from that moment,
- 18:42Speaker 2: especially when somebody else wronged you, like in this situation,
- 18:45Speaker 2: Oh I went wrong. It was really helped. But what
- 18:47Speaker 2: if somebody said, what if God has sending you back
- 18:49Speaker 2: to a place where you know, it's like, no that
- 18:52Speaker 2: I've gotten over that, I've been able to build the businesses,
- 18:56Speaker 2: I've been able to conquer this, that and the third.
- 19:00Speaker 2: But you're still broken in this area and God sees that,
- 19:02Speaker 2: and it's hindering you from doing greater works. It's hindered.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It's hindering people from from experiencing the greater in you
- 19:11Speaker 2: because somebody asks you about that situation, or somebody asks
- 19:14Speaker 2: you close to it, you triggered. You don't give a
- 19:16Speaker 2: righteous response in that moment because you never would revisit it.
- 19:21Speaker 2: You didn't give yourselfself another opportunity to see even though
- 19:24Speaker 2: the thing happened, right, I'm not negating that. And so
- 19:27Speaker 2: also the Lord said not only get over it, like
- 19:29Speaker 2: don't not to care about it or get over it
- 19:32Speaker 2: in the sense of we need to do away with
- 19:36Speaker 2: this this mindset, but to literally step over it, like
- 19:40Speaker 2: get over. You have the power to move, Thank you,
- 19:43Speaker 2: Holy Spirit. You have the power to move, and you
- 19:46Speaker 2: have the power to see it. You have the power
- 19:48Speaker 2: to resolve the thing, and you have the power to
- 19:51Speaker 2: avoid the thing. Where are you placing your power? That's good,
- 19:56Speaker 2: I think if it really all boils down to identity, right,
- 20:05Speaker 2: hold on finding my scriptures? Scripture, my scripture? What scripture?
- 20:11Speaker 2: You going to? Sis to the beginning? Oh my God,
- 20:15Speaker 2: are we going to Genesis one? To Genesis We're going
- 20:18Speaker 2: We're going to Genesis one twenty six on twenty six.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna go uh uh uh. We're gonna do a
- 20:31Speaker 2: easy reads. I want to be able to understand what's
- 20:34Speaker 2: happening here? Okay, okay, okay. Genesis one, twenty six. Okay,
- 20:42Speaker 2: and it says, so God made every kind of animal.
- 20:45Speaker 2: He made the wild animals, the tame animals, and all
- 20:49Speaker 2: the small crawling things. And God saw that it was good.
- 20:52Speaker 2: That's twenty five twenty six says. Then God said, let
- 20:56Speaker 2: us make humans who will be like us. They will
- 21:01Speaker 2: rule over all the fish in the sea and the
- 21:03Speaker 2: birds in the air. They will rule over all the
- 21:07Speaker 2: large animals and all the little things that crawl on
- 21:11Speaker 2: the earth. So God created humans in his own image.
- 21:14Speaker 2: He created them to be like himself. He created them
- 21:19Speaker 2: male and female. God blessed them and said to them,
- 21:23Speaker 2: have many children's. Feel the earth and take control of it.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Feel the earth and take control of it. Rule over
- 21:30Speaker 2: the fish in the sea and the birds in the air,
- 21:32Speaker 2: and rule over every living thing that moves in this earth.
- 21:36Speaker 2: So we're asking, So, really, what we really be doing
- 21:40Speaker 2: is asking God to do the thing that he's already
- 21:42Speaker 2: given us the power to do. Like God has already
- 21:44Speaker 2: done every single thing that He's gonna do that we
- 21:47Speaker 2: need on this earth. We now have to step into
- 21:53Speaker 2: that space of identity that he's already given us to
- 21:55Speaker 2: take the power over the things that God remove this.
- 21:59Speaker 2: God's like, I'm giving you the power to do that. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 2: you have the power to do that. Yeah, God, get
- 22:05Speaker 2: me out of this. God do this. Will you have
- 22:07Speaker 2: the power to do that? Yeah? Yeah? So when will
- 22:10Speaker 2: we step in and take the power that God has
- 22:13Speaker 2: already given us? I think we I think it's a
- 22:17Speaker 2: lack of realizing how mature you actually have. You're not
- 22:20Speaker 2: giving your yourself enough credit for how mature you are.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Like I had to realize that even in this season
- 22:28Speaker 2: right prime example, we remember I think y'all told y'all
- 22:31Speaker 2: when we talked about Coach d releasing me from being
- 22:34Speaker 2: her admen child. Oh man, I think about that. This
- 22:39Speaker 2: was about the fault. She was trying to hold it
- 22:41Speaker 2: together right there in that moment. But I can see
- 22:43Speaker 2: that she was just I was. She was crumbling baby.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Oh God, because literally for me and and and in
- 22:52Speaker 2: a way, it's done it. But I think that in
- 22:56Speaker 2: the I thought of it as I thought it was
- 22:58Speaker 2: as a negative thing. Right. It's almost like when they
- 23:02Speaker 2: say when the bird leads the mother's nest, And I
- 23:06Speaker 2: literally felt like instead of feeling released to move forward.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It was almost like I was feeling abandoned. And there's
- 23:18Speaker 2: there's that's a real thing when people because you've experienced
- 23:23Speaker 2: abandonment and releasing abandonment could seem like the same thing,
- 23:28Speaker 2: but it's releases into something. Abandonness is I have no
- 23:33Speaker 2: result for me me leaving, you know what I'm saying.
- 23:36Speaker 2: It's just me leaving. You know what I'm saying. And
- 23:38Speaker 2: because I've experienced abandonment in so many rays, and it's
- 23:43Speaker 2: not just a pariental I'm not even talking about this.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I'm talking about friends, people I thought that were my friends,
- 23:49Speaker 2: like that level of abandonment and avoid like so I
- 23:54Speaker 2: avoid moments to where I could go deeper with somebody
- 23:58Speaker 2: sometimes because I don't want to feel that anymore, you
- 24:01Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. And so but now I'm talking
- 24:06Speaker 2: to people and and and being honest about my my thoughts.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I've gotten a new revelation of Okay, this is just
- 24:13Speaker 2: a transition of maturity. Right at one point, you know,
- 24:16Speaker 2: I was drinking milk, next point, I was I had
- 24:18Speaker 2: a little serious my milk. This point, you know, we
- 24:21Speaker 2: even baby food. You know, there'restages started giving at this
- 24:25Speaker 2: point right in front of me, and I'm like, but
- 24:27Speaker 2: where my mama is? Where's my mama to cut this
- 24:32Speaker 2: steak up for me? You know what I'm saying? Like
- 24:34Speaker 2: that's that Like I'm more focused on who's not at
- 24:37Speaker 2: the table with me. I just had an interesting visual. Okay,
- 24:41Speaker 2: so it's about to be nasty. Go go ahead. So
- 24:44Speaker 2: you know, like mama, birds they actually chew up the
- 24:48Speaker 2: they do food and in the mouth. I was waiting
- 24:52Speaker 2: for the bird food instead of like, hey here it
- 24:57Speaker 2: is right here. You can now chew it up yourself,
- 24:59Speaker 2: right you now the teeth, you now have the power,
- 25:03Speaker 2: the jaw, all those things to be able to grab
- 25:06Speaker 2: it and chew it, toup and eat it yourself? Who
- 25:09Speaker 2: want to be in high school still getting getting eating
- 25:13Speaker 2: from their mama? That chewed up stuff? That car? And
- 25:15Speaker 2: I think that it just exposed you are y'all? Please
- 25:20Speaker 2: can we stretch our hands to desert? Father, bless her
- 25:25Speaker 2: because of mine. Thank you for maturity, Lord, thank you Jesus.
- 25:33Speaker 2: But no, I think that realizing that it wasn't an
- 25:37Speaker 2: intentional thing. But when you go back to that space
- 25:40Speaker 2: like I have to all, I've oftentimes going back to
- 25:42Speaker 2: that space and say, hey, she didn't abandon me, she
- 25:45Speaker 2: released me. That was two different things, right, And and
- 25:50Speaker 2: because of that, sometimes I retreat. I will listen if
- 25:56Speaker 2: you ever catch me, I know me, I will. And
- 26:00Speaker 2: if I start retreating, it doesn't mean that I don't
- 26:04Speaker 2: love you or I have a problem with you. It
- 26:07Speaker 2: means that I'm not trying to experience something or feeling
- 26:10Speaker 2: that I don't want to feel anymore. But that's a
- 26:13Speaker 2: part of the process of sitting in it. It's allowing
- 26:16Speaker 2: God to redefine the feeling for you. I think it
- 26:19Speaker 2: was dope though, because there was a moment of opportunity
- 26:22Speaker 2: that presented itself. And in that moment, the feeling that
- 26:27Speaker 2: came up from past things as you've been walking and killing,
- 26:30Speaker 2: was dang, she's abandoning me. So you gave yourself the
- 26:34Speaker 2: opportunity to be like, is this what this is? Or
- 26:38Speaker 2: just not right? And I think also because you've journeyed
- 26:41Speaker 2: with her, you know her heart, you know the love.
- 26:46Speaker 2: This is not abandonment. This is literally the release. So
- 26:49Speaker 2: and what has happened. What happened was you got over
- 26:52Speaker 2: it right and now I believe that moment allowed you
- 26:56Speaker 2: to freely walk into the spaces that God has caused
- 26:58Speaker 2: you to. Otherwise, I think you still would have been
- 27:00Speaker 2: kind of in the shadows in the back, still kind
- 27:03Speaker 2: of like, am I supposed to be here? Am I not?
- 27:05Speaker 2: But when you out there, baby, you out there, you
- 27:07Speaker 2: ain't got no choice? You you you don't have a choice.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Then that literally, But now I think also to speak
- 27:12Speaker 2: to I guess she texted me right now, you have
- 27:17Speaker 2: texted me, texted me because she said she needed to
- 27:19Speaker 2: talk to me about Saturday. But anyway, I think that
- 27:27Speaker 2: also on the opposite side of that, Okay, get over it.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Now what navigate? That's been my word I've been I've
- 27:37Speaker 2: been tearing that word. H you and me navigate. I
- 27:41Speaker 2: am navigating on what it looks like for us to
- 27:44Speaker 2: do relationship without my title as her admin. And that
- 27:48Speaker 2: has been the most interesting thing because now it's just
- 27:55Speaker 2: all respect d and jes you get what I'm saying. Now,
- 27:58Speaker 2: it's just two women that honor each other. Cause it's
- 28:02Speaker 2: not just I on her. I don't want y'all get
- 28:04Speaker 2: in to it. She honors me, and she was like,
- 28:05Speaker 2: you got girl, you're ailing shed be like what the
- 28:07Speaker 2: Lord telling you? You know what I'm saying, Like it's
- 28:09Speaker 2: not a one way street. You gel what I'm saying
- 28:11Speaker 2: by honor her because she is my spiritual mother, you
- 28:13Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. And so I think learning that
- 28:17Speaker 2: poor part, I think is what scared me too, because
- 28:20Speaker 2: I didn't know what that meant. I didn't know what
- 28:22Speaker 2: that looked like. I didn't know if that meant that, Okay,
- 28:25Speaker 2: we're just not gonna we're not gonna kick it, you
- 28:27Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Or because you don't need me anymore,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. But to be desired in
- 28:32Speaker 2: another way, it's like, oh yeah, I still wrong with
- 28:34Speaker 2: you heavy, Just so she's like, no, and baby, when
- 28:36Speaker 2: I tell you she wrong on me, heavy, don't even
- 28:38Speaker 2: play with it. Don't even play with it. And so
- 28:41Speaker 2: I think the opposite side of what if this doesn't
- 28:45Speaker 2: feel good? Of to get over it? You know what
- 28:47Speaker 2: I'm saying, when you is what am I coming over to?
- 28:50Speaker 2: I think that's what we ask ourselves, what am I
- 28:53Speaker 2: coming over to? But that's where faith has to come in.
- 28:57Speaker 2: It has to come in because we have something to
- 29:00Speaker 2: God would not say, hey, get over it, and there's
- 29:03Speaker 2: nothing that you're crossing over to. Thank you only Spirit.
- 29:05Speaker 2: So this is a moment where the Lord brought me
- 29:07Speaker 2: to the idea of Moses. Right. And you know, he
- 29:10Speaker 2: did a lot of back and forth with Jesus, with
- 29:12Speaker 2: the Lord when he told him, when he said, hey,
- 29:16Speaker 2: I need you to go to the same place I
- 29:19Speaker 2: just brought you from, right, and I need you to
- 29:21Speaker 2: go deliver them, and he bucked up because he didn't.
- 29:26Speaker 2: He thought he was done with that part of him.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I want you to walk with me. He thought that
- 29:32Speaker 2: his assignment was done and he didn't have to deal
- 29:36Speaker 2: with it anymore. So he was able to avoid it
- 29:39Speaker 2: in a different manner, right, And so Moses got mad
- 29:42Speaker 2: because avoidance wasn't working anymore. Come on, avoidance was like
- 29:46Speaker 2: not having to deal and repeat the same thing and
- 29:49Speaker 2: experience or see the people from the moment. Oh, thank
- 29:52Speaker 2: you Holy Spirit. He didn't want to see the people
- 29:54Speaker 2: from the moment, right, So for forty years the Lord
- 29:57Speaker 2: allowed him to avoid for forty ye is the Lord
- 30:00Speaker 2: and through and in his avoidance, God was still developing him.
- 30:04Speaker 2: But when God told him to go back, he buked.
- 30:07Speaker 2: And so listen, Buckheart's talking about how you study had
- 30:11Speaker 2: every excuse in the book, not knowing, not knowing that
- 30:17Speaker 2: it was that moment that he will be be called
- 30:20Speaker 2: and understood as a deliverer. Right, it was something on
- 30:25Speaker 2: the other side of get over it, Moses, go deliver
- 30:28Speaker 2: my people. Moses, go talk to Pharaoh. Moses. And when
- 30:32Speaker 2: we don't allow ourselves to get over it, we missed
- 30:36Speaker 2: the opportunity of fulfilling the ultimate goal of being a Christian,
- 30:45Speaker 2: it says, go ye. Therefore, and when we don't go
- 30:49Speaker 2: because we avoid, we mismanaged the responsibility of our faith.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Who jee, we mismanaged the responsibility of of our faith.
- 31:02Speaker 2: And you're saying that you are connected to God, but
- 31:06Speaker 2: you're still using avoidance as a comfort zone for you.
- 31:12Speaker 2: And you wonder why you stress. You're wondering why you
- 31:14Speaker 2: have some anxiety. You wonder why you're hesitant to do
- 31:17Speaker 2: anything because you won't get over this one thing. It's
- 31:21Speaker 2: a stumbling You have created your own stumbling lo What
- 31:27Speaker 2: happens when you're your own stumbling block? What happens when
- 31:30Speaker 2: you are in your own way? What happens when you
- 31:34Speaker 2: avoid a moment so much to where now it has
- 31:37Speaker 2: become a generational dialogue. You're teaching your children how to avoid.
- 31:43Speaker 2: You're teaching your friends that you are not trustworthy because
- 31:46Speaker 2: you avoid these type of moments. It's bigger than that.
- 31:50Speaker 2: It's bigger than that. And when you allow the enemy
- 31:52Speaker 2: to play on your own thoughts, because these are your thoughts, right, Like,
- 31:58Speaker 2: we can't just blame the devil, only use the tools
- 32:01Speaker 2: that are supplied to him, thank you, Holy Spirit. He
- 32:03Speaker 2: can only use the tools that are supplied to him,
- 32:06Speaker 2: And you're supplying him negative thoughts. So he's gonna tap
- 32:08Speaker 2: dance all of them all day, all day, every day.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Ask me how I know tipity tap tap dance to
- 32:14Speaker 2: audio family from tap dancing. I'm tap dancing, that's right,
- 32:19Speaker 2: Oh my god. Well then I know that was it
- 32:22Speaker 2: was a direct word, but it was a word that
- 32:24Speaker 2: you know. I did my part. I got over it. Yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I think that the one situation that has come up
- 32:32Speaker 2: since we've been talking about avoidance. My last situationship about
- 32:37Speaker 2: five six years ago. Yeah, ended because it needed dance.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Jesus did. And I remember forgiving, releasing, forgiveness. So this
- 32:50Speaker 2: is like twenty one, is twenty maybe going into twenty two. Right,
- 32:55Speaker 2: I forget, I've forgiven, let it go, releasing, Bless the Lord,
- 32:59Speaker 2: bless them, Lord less him. Lord, he would come to
- 33:01Speaker 2: twenty twenty three. I ain't thought about nothing about the
- 33:05Speaker 2: man of cause okay nothing, ain't thought nothing of Bud,
- 33:07Speaker 2: lived my life, all the things. And then he starts
- 33:09Speaker 2: popping up in my brain. I don't ever see him out,
- 33:12Speaker 2: never never see the person out out about nothing like this.
- 33:15Speaker 2: He starts popping up randomly, and I'm like, but I
- 33:17Speaker 2: forgive him, Lord, I forgive him, Lord, I forgive them Lord.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Guess what the Lord said? But have you forgiven you? Jesus?
- 33:25Speaker 2: I said that just touched my chest. Yeah, you've forgiven him,
- 33:31Speaker 2: But have you forgiven you? For making the decisions you know,
- 33:35Speaker 2: the regrets that you've made towards Have you forgiven you?
- 33:38Speaker 2: So walking through this process of and it was really
- 33:40Speaker 2: like every time you pop up, I pray, release, forgiveness,
- 33:44Speaker 2: rese forgiving for myself, you know, ask the Lord? Am
- 33:46Speaker 2: I missing anything? If there anything else there? This is
- 33:48Speaker 2: like March. This went on for about two months, right,
- 33:52Speaker 2: So he would come in November. Remember I said I
- 33:54Speaker 2: never see the man. Yeah, okay, never see the man.
- 33:57Speaker 2: He would come in November. I got invited to come
- 33:59Speaker 2: share in a Bible study in Huntsville. Okay, I wake
- 34:04Speaker 2: up that morning with grits on my mind. Grits. So
- 34:07Speaker 2: I go to the waffle house. Walk in. Jesus, guess
- 34:11Speaker 2: who's standing at them right there, the man of God
- 34:14Speaker 2: that you said you forgave. Did you forgive them? For real?
- 34:17Speaker 2: So I walked in, I said, walk right past him, right.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I sat down, and I said, huh, you know, I'm
- 34:26Speaker 2: checking and checking out the parts, you know, Okay, my mind,
- 34:30Speaker 2: my mind cool. I don't feel no angriness. And I said, okay,
- 34:39Speaker 2: I see what you did there. I literally, like literally
- 34:42Speaker 2: the day of an assignment that was already nerve racking
- 34:45Speaker 2: for me. Yeah, right, I don't. I don't do all
- 34:48Speaker 2: this stuff like this like for real, for real, but
- 34:51Speaker 2: I'm going to share in the word of the Lord
- 34:53Speaker 2: walking people, okay, and I and I encountered this opportunity. Yeah,
- 34:58Speaker 2: that could have easily made me recluse back into some feelings,
- 35:03Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying and abort the thing that
- 35:05Speaker 2: the Lord hadn't for me to do that day. But
- 35:07Speaker 2: I said, you know what, not it didn't feel good,
- 35:10Speaker 2: like the process to get in there didn't feel good.
- 35:12Speaker 2: But as I got over that thing, what the Lord
- 35:15Speaker 2: began to do is take me on this journey. So
- 35:17Speaker 2: this is kind of like where all this moving and
- 35:19Speaker 2: things started to happening. He started putting me in these
- 35:21Speaker 2: places to like show me and give me opportunities to
- 35:25Speaker 2: release some other things that that was there that was
- 35:28Speaker 2: not like him to Now I'm in this this place,
- 35:31Speaker 2: not fully hole, but definitely more hole than I was,
- 35:36Speaker 2: more healed than I was because I allowed. I didn't
- 35:40Speaker 2: sit in the opportunities, but I allowed the opportunities to
- 35:44Speaker 2: wrestle me a little bit and sharpen me a little
- 35:47Speaker 2: bit to get on the other side of it. And
- 35:49Speaker 2: that's and that's what's needed. Right, And now you're on
- 35:52Speaker 2: the other side, and you got my brother in law.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I mean, just learn from devil ray. I've been looking.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I be looking at y'all. Just pray for me when
- 36:01Speaker 2: they get married. Brother law. Please don't leave, I gotta
- 36:07Speaker 2: say to people. I gotta ask in front of the people,
- 36:09Speaker 2: please please don't let the lead make a leave. But no,
- 36:12Speaker 2: for real, though, Like we have so much more to
- 36:15Speaker 2: gain from what's over what's on the other side of it, right,
- 36:18Speaker 2: It's not just get over it because I'm tired of
- 36:21Speaker 2: dealing with you in this. This is not what the
- 36:23Speaker 2: Lord is saying. Let me be very clear, that's not
- 36:25Speaker 2: what the Lord is saying. The Lord is saying, I
- 36:27Speaker 2: need you to get over rich so you can continue
- 36:29Speaker 2: to walk down the path that I have for you,
- 36:32Speaker 2: for I know the plans I have for you. Thus
- 36:36Speaker 2: this the Lord. And as to prosper you, right, he's
- 36:40Speaker 2: not if it's not for prosperity and it's not for
- 36:44Speaker 2: the uplifting of the kingdom. He's not gonna ask you
- 36:46Speaker 2: to get over something. You know what I'm saying. He's
- 36:48Speaker 2: not gonna ask you to move forward in something. It's
- 36:50Speaker 2: a greater call on your life. And if you keep
- 36:52Speaker 2: limiting yourself to a moment, as I did. Right now
- 36:56Speaker 2: that I got over that moment, I'm free from it.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I'm free from like, oh, okay, we've done what we said,
- 37:03Speaker 2: we took some suggestions that we acted on it, and
- 37:06Speaker 2: he didn't waste his time. And so now when I
- 37:07Speaker 2: see him again, I'm gonna say, hey, we didn't waste
- 37:11Speaker 2: your time. You did not waste your time, Thank you
- 37:14Speaker 2: so much. And so now you you you defeat the
- 37:17Speaker 2: moment by saying, hey, I'm not scared of you, I
- 37:19Speaker 2: can go back to you and address you right, You're
- 37:22Speaker 2: you're more powerful than that. I don't know who needs
- 37:25Speaker 2: to hear that, but I need you to just put
- 37:27Speaker 2: your hand on your chest to say I'm more powerful
- 37:29Speaker 2: than that. That I'm more powerful than that. And so y'all,
- 37:32Speaker 2: I hope y'all enjoyed this week's episode until next week.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Until next time, remember life could be much more simple
- 37:40Speaker 2: if you just ask. There's a really ship be y'all.
