- 0:00Speaker 1: It's time for stacks and hacks. I have stax information
- 0:02Speaker 1: rich as life hacks. I find this to be a
- 0:04Speaker 1: pretty interesting story, and I feel like I'm guilty of
- 0:06Speaker 1: this that I can think of one time this happened.
- 0:08Speaker 1: New Survey. One to ten adults admit they've missed a
- 0:11Speaker 1: once in a lifetime moment because they were too busy
- 0:14Speaker 1: messing around on their phone. Forty six percent of people
- 0:18Speaker 1: admit they were scrolling during situations where they should have
- 0:20Speaker 1: been present, like a birthday party, of family gathering, or sightseeing.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Only forty six percent Yeah, fifty two percent of people
- 0:26Speaker 1: say they were so distracted by their phone that they
- 0:28Speaker 1: had to rewind a movie that just happed me the
- 0:30Speaker 1: other day. Sixty six percent of people admit they sometimes
- 0:34Speaker 1: pick up their phone without a clear reason. Just look
- 0:35Speaker 1: at it happens a lot again, Say this what this
- 0:38Speaker 1: one time that I remember missing a moment. I'm going
- 0:40Speaker 1: to blame it on my wife. My son Camp was
- 0:44Speaker 1: playing in one of his last college basketball games, and
- 0:48Speaker 1: he made a shot, made it, and I was filming it,
- 0:51Speaker 1: and then she goes, can you send that to me?
- 0:54Speaker 1: And I go, okay, but I'm still filming. She was
- 0:56Speaker 1: just send it to me, so I have to stop
- 0:59Speaker 1: to send her. While I'm stopping and sending it to her,
- 1:01Speaker 1: he makes another shot and I was so pissed. I
- 1:05Speaker 1: was so mad. I was like, I could have sent
- 1:07Speaker 1: this to you an hour from now, right anyway, women,
- 1:13Speaker 1: But also you got the first one. Have you guys
- 1:15Speaker 1: ever heard of backwards beach day? No, what's that? It's
- 1:18Speaker 1: where you skip the crowds and the hot sun on
- 1:20Speaker 1: the beach during the day in favor of a sunset
- 1:22Speaker 1: beach time instead. It's great for kids right after their naps.
- 1:25Speaker 1: That's nice and never heard of it. Oh, this is
- 1:28Speaker 1: going viral. A woman baked bread for her nephew's ninth birthday.
- 1:31Speaker 1: She shaped the dough like the shape of a nine.
- 1:34Speaker 1: But after I got all cooked, you look like a penis. Oh.
- 1:39Speaker 1: World Cup soccer happened today, all day today, And this
- 1:42Speaker 1: is big because I remember last time World Cup soccer
- 1:44Speaker 1: was happening, we talked about it a lot. But has
- 1:47Speaker 1: been horn things from the World Cup. It sound like
- 1:58Speaker 1: a swarm. But though there's long plastic horns, they're being
- 2:01Speaker 1: banned because they're excessively loud.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Isn't that the point?
- 2:09Speaker 1: That's crazy. A tourists jumped into the rapids near a
- 2:12Speaker 1: two hundred and sixty two foot waterfall, apparently to grab
- 2:16Speaker 1: their dropped cell phone. This happened at Iguaza Falls, the
- 2:20Speaker 1: largest waterfall system in the world between Brazil and Argentina.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He survived, but it's unclear if he was able to
- 2:26Speaker 1: get his phone back. I saw the video of it,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and it's just insane. Look at that point, just chalk
- 2:30Speaker 1: it up as a loss, right, Yeah, Okay, this I
- 2:34Speaker 1: think is incredible. Okay, this to me is literally incredible.
- 2:42Speaker 1: A police department is deploying new technology that will help
- 2:45Speaker 1: officers communicate across more than fifty languages while on parole,
- 2:50Speaker 1: and I have audio of it happened on parole or patrol. Patrol.
- 2:54Speaker 1: They could be on parole the criminal either way, if
- 2:56Speaker 1: the criminals on parole and they stop them. But this
- 2:59Speaker 1: is the this is the this is what happened. This
- 3:01Speaker 1: is freaking nuts. Language set to Spanish. Hello, I'm Officer
- 3:07Speaker 1: vander Hook with the rent and Police. How can I
- 3:09Speaker 1: help you? Ol so in that name, I want to
- 3:24Speaker 1: report my car is stolen. Isn't that amazing? Hmm? I
- 3:28Speaker 1: think that's so amazing and if you could use that
- 3:30Speaker 1: just to travel and not be a police officer and
- 3:32Speaker 1: just be in another country and use it to Google Translate.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this is a fun fact. Nobody born after
- 3:39Speaker 1: nineteen thirty five has ever walked on the moon. Wow, okay, Well,
- 3:47Speaker 1: astronaut Charles Duke was the one who was born most recently,
- 3:51Speaker 1: and that was October of nineteen thirty five. He is
- 3:53Speaker 1: ninety still and alive and kicking.
- 3:56Speaker 2: We haven't been around there in fifty plus years, right,
- 3:59Speaker 2: according to Kylie so real.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Superhero fans just this kind of like throws this is
- 4:06Speaker 1: so stupid, but this really throws me out. There's another debate.
- 4:09Speaker 1: There's a new Supergirl movie coming out. Have you seen it?
- 4:11Speaker 1: The commercials for it Supergirl terrible. It looks terrible to you,
- 4:14Speaker 1: looks terrible. Well, in the upcoming Supergirl movie, Supergirl has
- 4:18Speaker 1: pierced ears even though her skin is bulletproof. So they're saying,
- 4:25Speaker 1: how is that possible? And it's throwing people in a tizzy.
- 4:29Speaker 1: So the director, James Gunn, he makes his whole excuse
- 4:33Speaker 1: that I just don't buy. He's like, it's complicated. Where
- 4:36Speaker 1: if she if she's in red planets, she can do stuff.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And if she's now she got an ears perce of
- 4:40Speaker 1: a red planet.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Just say their magnetic rings.
- 4:46Speaker 1: So many other options. I mean, there's three options right there.
- 4:55Speaker 1: What do you have for life? Ex rich? All right?
- 4:56Speaker 2: So I don't know if y'all know this, but June
- 4:58Speaker 2: and October biggest months. We right, the biggest months. But
- 5:02Speaker 2: the outdoor June wedding could be hot and it could
- 5:05Speaker 2: be nastiest question.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And you guys know you guys just were at my
- 5:07Speaker 1: house and it was hotter than you. Ah.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I wish I had this hack before that, because this
- 5:11Speaker 2: is what I helped out everybody. So here's what the
- 5:13Speaker 2: hack is. Pick up some of those adhesive cooling patches
- 5:16Speaker 2: people use for fevers or sore muscles before the ceremony,
- 5:20Speaker 2: before the outdoor reception. Stick one on the back of
- 5:24Speaker 2: your neck or along your upper spine, under your shirt
- 5:26Speaker 2: or under your hair or under your dress. You can
- 5:28Speaker 2: also slip a slim gel ice pack into or inside
- 5:33Speaker 2: like a jacket pocket for a few minutes before things
- 5:35Speaker 2: get rolling. That way, your body feels cool overall, even
- 5:39Speaker 2: though it's hot outside. And it's a simple little trick
- 5:42Speaker 2: that can help you look a lot more put together
- 5:45Speaker 2: instead of sweating like a freak like I was in
- 5:47Speaker 2: all these outdoor events like my kids graduation. So the
- 5:50Speaker 2: cool pack for fevers that hack can be found to
