- 0:01SPEAKER_00: If you felt lonely, isolated, disconnected, with an empty feeling inside and just yearning for more, knowing something is missing, then this podcast is for you.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: So here's your host, Joe Mittigan.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Hello, and welcome to We.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: There comes a moment in every person's life when healing no longer is the destination.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: It becomes the foundation for something much greater.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: For years I believed my purpose was simply to heal the pains of my past.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: I thought that if I could overcome loneliness, fear, anxiety, overwhelm, and forgiveness, I would finally arrive at the life I was searching for.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: But one day I realized something that truly changed my life.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: My healing wasn't the destination.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: It was preparing me to become the person I was truly created to be.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: At the same time, I began to notice something around the world that was happening everywhere I looked.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Humanity is changing.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: People everywhere are questioning the lives they've built, searching for deeper meaning, longing for authentic connection, and realizing that success without inner peace no longer really satisfies the human heart.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: We're living through one of the greatest periods of emotional and spiritual transformation in human history.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: I call it the Generation of Change.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: In this episode, I will share why I chose to stop living according to the world's expectations, and I started living according to my purpose.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: I'll talk about the spiritual awakening that transformed my life, how embracing my calling led to a deeper sense of peace and fulfillment, and why I believe each of us has a unique role to play in humanity's healing.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Purpose isn't about becoming famous.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: It isn't about making more money.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: It isn't even about achieving success.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Purpose is discovering the unique way your life can become an expression of love.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: When we heal ourselves, we change our family.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: When families heal, communities begin to change.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: When communities change, humanity changes.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Every act of kindness matters.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Every word of encouragement matters.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Every smile matters.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: This episode it marks the completion of one journey and the beginning of another.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: It's the bridge between healing the wounds of our past and becoming the people our higher power is calling us to become.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: My name is Joe Mittigan, and this is we.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Because healing doesn't happen alone, folks.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: It happens when we remember the we.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: So I want to welcome everybody here today.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: It's an exciting time to be here.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: I'm actually, interestingly enough, I'm in my hometown of South Bend, Mishawka, Indiana, and it's kind of a cool place to be.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: You know, unfortunately, I'm here for a funeral, but fortunately, the aunt that I'm here to celebrate her life, she was my father's older sister and one of the last of that generation.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Literally, my dad was 90.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: He had three older sisters, and the community we grew up in, a really a foundation immigrant community, Italian community here in Michaelka.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: My aunt was a huge part.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: She lived here her whole life.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: And she had been, you know, going through her challenges.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: And this is a woman where, you know, it's why, for me, I don't judge religions in any way, shape, or form at all.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, this is a woman who was raised Catholic her entire life, and probably without question, one of the single most spiritual people I'd ever met, literally my entire life.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: And it's funny because, you know, for Joe, everybody that's been on this podcast for any length of time knows that I consider myself more spiritual than religious.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: And I never judge one as right or wrong.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: You know, it's not about right or wrong, it's about honoring the paths of people.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Well, I am here to honor my Aunt Joanne and her legacy, and I'm getting ready to my family, my three sisters and I are here.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: We've got cousins coming in from around the country.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: And, you know, as a lot of you know, if you've been on the podcast for any length of time, I've been going through a lot of grieving.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: I had to put my dog Zeus to sleep a couple of weeks ago.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: And, you know, so I'm now in the role of supporter instead of the role of griever.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I tell people all the time, we've got kind of two places to be in life.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: And if you're in a challenging time, get support.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: But if you have the opportunity, be the supporter.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: And the We Podcast, that's really what the We Podcast is all about: awareness and giving answers of support.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: So as I get started here, I want to remind people visit my website, joemitiga.com.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: JoeMidiga.com, it's up, it's functioning now.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: You can download my book, Filling the Void for free.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Digital form.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: If you want it in format form, you know, in book form soon.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: We're giving that away for free.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: You know, I just need people to pay the shipping for me.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: And I'm really excited.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: I'm excited that that's up.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: That's been a journey that's 30 plus years long.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: That was the original book that was channeled through me literally 30 years ago now.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: I used to call it your inner child has rights to a common man's quest to become one with God.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: And now it's called Filling the Void: A Common Man's Quest to Become One with God.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: And the one with God concept is it's an important one for me to share with everybody because my entire life, my entire path, my entire early decade of self-discovery, or longer, two decades of self-discovery.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: I was never in pursuit of a power greater than myself.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: I was never looking for a relationship with God or a higher power, never.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: My sole motivation on a daily basis was I just really wanted to stop hurting.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: And as I stopped hurting, this I started remembering this essence called a higher power, which is in all of us.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: And that kind of leads me into what this episode is all about.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: This episode is about truly talking about higher purpose, higher passions, giving back into the world, why Joe calls this the generation of change.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: I've got four characteristics that I'm gonna talk about later in the podcast that are literally why I can give you stats, intellectual stats, and spiritual foundations of why we people on a podcast like this are we are the generation of change.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Our kids are getting from us what we did not get from our parents.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: And then their kids will get even more and even more and even more.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm going to describe all of that.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: This is a perfect place for me to welcome the world, literally.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: The We Podcast now is in 11 countries and five continents.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Welcome people from Norway and Canada.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: Brand new group of people now in South Korea.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: The list United Kingdom, Nigeria, Australia.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I wish I would write the list down.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: I forget to, but I am just so thrilled that you are all here.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: It is a continual reflection of my belief that humanity is waking up.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Not any one sector of religion, not just women, not just men, not white, black, green, or orange.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: I don't care the color of your skin.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: I don't care where you live, I don't care what continent you live in.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: We are humanity.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: If you're living and breathing and you're a person, you and I are humanity.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: And humanity is waking up in a way it never has.
- 8:43SPEAKER_01: That's where the we comes from: human self, higher self, inner self.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm going to talk a little bit more about how I kind of was awoken to that concept that instead of calling myself a me, I call myself a we because we are multidimensional beings.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: From the emotional side, the inner child, the inner essence of your emotions, there's multiple dimensions of your emotional self, multiple ages.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: That if you're in a deep self-discovery of emotional healing, yeah, that's why it takes some time.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: And that's why you need support.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: And if you're going deep, I say all the time, buckle up, because it's not easy.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: And though it is completely worth it, every ounce of recovery that you get, every ounce of reclaiming the depths of yourself, that you're able to ask for the strength and courage to go deeper and deeper and deeper.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: On the other side, there's a wonderment that is truly amazing.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: And I have to say, I live that wonderment most of the time.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: And that's why my desire to give back is so strong.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: And that's why my desire to support systems out there, websites out there, solutions, real life solutions is so important.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: And that's why this group called Divorce Post, I have a passion.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: I've never met these people yet.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: I'll get them.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: But, you know, if I never do, it's okay.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: I'm not affiliated with any of the websites that I refer.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Zero.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Joe makes no money, anything, none of that craziness.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: But I'm living what I preach, you know, and divorce posts is one of those things, it's a foundational support that is needed more now than ever before because we are growing.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: And, you know, we're moving more into a spiritual position of our lives, and love and communion and connection and relationships of the past were more emotionally based.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: They just were.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: And years ago, for most people, they were satiation addiction focused.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: You fill my holes, I'll fill yours.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, folks, as a humanity, as mankind continues to grow, especially people that are in, you know, more advanced ages of the progression of their life.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: The people that have been married, they've already got the kids, they've already done the business, they're kind of that next era of life.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: In my opinion, if you're in partnership now and everything is great, fabulous.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: It's wonderful.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: That just means you and your partner are growing spiritually at the same rate.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: And you can be married for somebody for 20 years and spiritually outgrow them.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: It does not mean you don't love them.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Love is of your humanity, folks.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Your spiritual growth is of your divinity.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: And what this podcast is all about, as I get into it and why generational change is so powerful, I'm going to be talking about how to activate and pursue your divinity, which is a giving back experience, moving from gratitude to grace.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: And that's why I mention divorce posts a lot, because I believe over the next decade, the numbers of people that are going to be outgrowing their partner is going to be extreme.
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: It's just going to be a large number.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: And is that a bad thing?
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: No.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: Is it a painful thing?
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: Is it a confusing thing?
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: Do you have to completely destroy your life because you're spiritually growing?
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: No, you don't.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: And hence this website, Divorce Post, and hence technology and their availability to support is all because of technology.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: One of the things I'm talking about.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: And I've got five or six different areas that I'm going to be talking about because it's happening.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: And I never want to be a resource that doesn't have answers, doesn't have true solutions.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: I can tell you you're outgrowing your partner, maybe if you are, and I can honor that's happening.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: Can I support you now on a Tuesday morning?
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: No, I can't.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: Visit divorce posts.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Let those people help you.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: Other things I'm going to be finding is addiction recovery.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: You know, we are in an epidemic of opioid addiction.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: We are as a society.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: So sooner or later, I'm going to have a resource where if you know somebody, I'm going to tell you, send them there.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: I keep going back to divorce posts, and I say I don't know them because I don't know them at all, but I've looked at their stuff and I say to you right now, you're either in a divorce, you know somebody's in a divorce, or you know somebody's getting ready to go to a voice.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: Be the support.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: Tell them about that site.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: Then you've done your part.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: And soon I'm going to have the same thing for, you know, hopefully, if you're on this podcast, you're not the person literally in opioid addiction yourself.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: If you are, click off right now and call somebody.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Call somebody right now.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Now, I wish I had the number to give you.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: I don't yet, but I will.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: And if you know somebody who's in that challenge, I'm going to have a resource for that.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: I'm going to.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: I'm going to have a resource for career change, job change, life coach, that whole thing.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: We're creating an entire network of life coaches out there that eventually I'll be able to share with you.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I kind of see the We podcast and what all of you are helping me do as an awareness podcast.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: I want to validate and honor your spiritual and emotional path because you're the warrior.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: And it doesn't sometimes you don't feel like the warrior because you're the only one.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: You know, I had an experience in September of 2022 where I came across the woman.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: It took me three freaking years to figure it out.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: But this woman is more spiritually connected to her heart than I am.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: And I can't tell you the glory I felt because after 30 years of never coming across somebody literally, Joe's world path, that was on the same type of path, it felt fantastic to know.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: At least there's another person.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: Now, you know, I tend to work anonymously.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: I've never met this person either.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: But my point is you're right now listening to this podcast, but then you're going to go to church tomorrow, you're going to be around your family tonight, you're going to be around your siblings, your partner.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: And most people may or may not know what you're going through.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Because as humanity wakes up, there's the initial group.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: And people like you and people like me, we are that initial group.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: And that's why the We Podcast is such an important voice out there, because I'm creating a library where on your Tuesday night, when you know you have a great day and then something triggers you and you're hurting, find one of my posts.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: Keep visiting We Podcast, you know, on Apple Podcasts and any of the major platforms, because just look through the different posts I create, the different episodes I create.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: I do it on purpose so I can be a voice to help you if you feel stuck.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: I can be a voice to help you if you feel afraid.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: I can be a voice to help you if you need to reinvent your life or feel overwhelmed, or you're confused because you've been doing positive affirmations your whole life.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: And now Joe's saying, well, positive affirmations don't heal.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: But what did he say again?
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: Well, keep going back to the episodes.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: Listen to them over and over.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: Definitely get my book.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: And we're creating a book club where you'll literally be able to work with groups of people around the globe who are going to be using the book as a guide to heal.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: So it's exciting.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: It's really, I feel honored to be a part of it.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: I got some very cool news the other day.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: And now the Wii podcast on Spotify, we're in the top 100.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: We're ranked like number 41 in the top trending podcast on Spotify.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: Now I always say I don't really know much about this world.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: I don't.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: I'm learning.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: I'm an entrepreneur.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: I will learn the podcast world as I go.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: But when I sent that screenshot to my PR person, Adrian Ashley, I can't, I'm trying not to cuss, but she said, holy blank, blank, blank.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: And I haven't heard what that means yet, but from her expression, I guess it's a really good thing.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: And why do I always share about the successes of the Wii podcast and rankings and global?
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: Because it means that the message is reaching more and more people.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: It's not ever about the man, it's about the message.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: And my goal is to help a hundred million people heal the depths of their hurt.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: Give a voice to the deepest parts of your angst and learn how to communicate and reach out for strength and courage from your divinity.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: You're in the center of the we.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: You're the human part of the we.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: The person listening here is the human part of the we.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: My job, my intention, my focus and hope is to help you learn and become aware that any deep pain you have in the inner you, you can give a voice to that deep pain through different techniques.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: I'm going to have people eventually go to this website, go to that website who will support you week in, week out, type of thing.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: And on the other side of that, we is your divine sense of self.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: And that's why I say I hope people have started my suggestion of finding silence.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: You know, I say it all the time.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: If I can do five or six hours a day, you can do five or six minutes.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: So I hope you started that.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: If you're new here, the Wii podcast, again, welcome.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: But what I'm talking about is I'm wanting people to start the practice of spending 30 seconds or 60 seconds in silence.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: And what silence means is no external stimulus, no radio, no TV, no kids, no phone, no scrolling, no anything.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: And just sit there in silence.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: Practice 30 seconds, then practice a minute.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: And you're going, silence does not mean you don't hear the voices inside your head.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: Silence means there's no external stimuli.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: And the more you do it, the more you're going to get practiced at it.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: And the longer you're able to do it with practice, and you're still going to hear the voices in your head.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: And if those voices get too big, write them down, bullet point, first steps.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: But then eventually you're going to hear a smaller, quieter voice.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: And that smaller, quieter voice in you, that's your higher power.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: I hear my higher power talk.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: A lot of people feel their higher power.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: A mass number of in tuned women sense it.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: It's their gut instinct.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: They can sense their higher power.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Well, Joe's overall goal, 100 million.
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: Because I figure if we can help 100 million people with 100 million downloads a month here at the We Podcast, heal the depths themselves by giving a voice to the depths, connect with a higher part of themselves by living in humility and asking for support, then through that entire process, right, we help 100 million people heal.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: It's literally 1%, you know.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: And if I can help 1% heal, 100 million goes to a billion, which a billion is around 10%.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: My math is off, of course, but that's the whole idea.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: That's what my intention here is.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: So when I see these, you know, we podcast on the Spotify top podcast trending list, that's exciting because it just means more and more people are connecting and more and more people are hearing the message.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: And that's really my desire.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: That's my hope.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: And I know that a couple podcasts ago, when I was sharing from the depths of my pain, I know a lot of people have never even heard a grown man cry.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: And I know that's challenging.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: I know it had to be hard.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: Well, keep coming back and keep listening.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: Not because I want you to listen to me, because I want you to feel whatever the tweaks are in your heart, in your belly.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: Listen to the compassion you probably had for me, because I was hurting and able to share.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: So feel the strength because if I can, you can.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: My message is always that.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: If I can, you can.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: I'm not a teacher, I'm not a researcher, I'm not a doctor, I'm none of those things.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: I'm a guy just like you, and you're just like me.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: And I say that now I always caveat.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: I started this process in 1990.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: You know, we're talking 36 years ago.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: I am very practiced.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: February the 16th, 1990.
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: So I'm practiced, yes.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: Different than anybody else?
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: No, uniquely gifted at any no, no, no.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Practiced, yes.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: And on the other side, I live a very peaceful life.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: I live a very blessed life.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: I have a lot of purpose.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: I have a lot of overflow.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: And when I'm in pain, I don't have all the deterrence of guilt and shame and all that.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: So I just feel the pain and I have no fear of pain.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: So pain doesn't control me anymore.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: It doesn't.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: And it doesn't have to control you either.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: And that's why I'm creating the episode library where you can use my voice as a support because a lot of people around you are not going to know what you're going through.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: They're just not.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: Well, in this particular episode, right, why I wanted to bridge it here, because we've been doing a lot around emotional growth.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: We've been doing a lot around spiritual transformation, humanity waking up, which humanity is literally waking up.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: But I want you to hear about the different spiritual awakenings I had.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: And I want to talk real quick about that whole concept.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: What is spiritual growth?
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: What is spiritual awakening?
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: And what is that whole concept?
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: Well, as a human being, as a being, you are truly a spirit having a human experience created in God's image, that whole concept.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: Well, the God part of the image is the spiritual essence of you.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: And we are living in an era of time where we are waking up to that internal essence more and more.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: We're becoming consciously aware.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: We literally know that we know it's a spiritual part of us in us, guiding us.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: That's the awakening process.
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: And to spiritually grow or to have a spiritual awareness, right, is the moment you say, Oh my gosh, I never thought of that before.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: I always joke way back when my second spiritual awakening, my first spiritual awareness was, conscious awareness was the police officers are not trying to get me to stop driving.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: They're trying to get me to stop drinking and driving.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: Prior to that exact spot in time, I'd never thought that my entire life.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: I'm in my mid-20s.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: I'd never had that thought.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: Police are trying to get me to stop drinking and driving.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: I laughed because my solution to no drinking or driving was I became a full-time everyday marijuana smoker.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: Now I didn't go to prison because I didn't get that third DUI.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: I never broke into people's house crazy because I wasn't drunk anymore all the time.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: So it had its benefits.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: But to have a spiritual awareness is that period of time where it's that moment in time that just in a moment, you just see the something, the it, the experience different than ever before.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: Spiritual awareness.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: And I always suggest to people think back.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: When was the first time you had what's your first awareness?
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: What is your first time you really could see your own thoughts?
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: Also, want to let you know, most people, most do not know that they do not know that they can hear their own thoughts.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: That's why you're so unique.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: You would not be on this podcast if you didn't already know that concept that you could hear your own thoughts.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: Everybody that does positive affirmations and all of that world and meditations, what are they doing?
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: They're trying to calm their thoughts.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: And that just tells me that the whole world, what there are millions, but there are billions that don't know.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: They understand they that their thoughts are their own.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: They're inside of them.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: Everybody on this podcast knows people in their family, probably in your breakfast dinner table, that does not know that they don't know.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: They can hear their thoughts.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: And that's why it can be very frustrating because you can see their insanity of their life, but they can't see it themselves.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: And that's just all part of the process.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: Hence why I'm glad you're here, because I'm going to validate that you are hearing your own thoughts.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: You are, and you're doing it, and you can change it.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: Now, when you have a brand new thought out of nowhere, you see the exact circumstance that you saw on Monday over here at ABC.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: And now Tuesday, you see the exact same experience as XYZ, that's spiritual awareness.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Now, when you start living that new awareness on a daily basis, the more you live the new perspective of whatever it is you just became aware of, that's spiritual awakening.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: You're waking up to the availability that this new way of looking at something, you can live life differently.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: You can make choices differently, you can act out in the world differently.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: That's the spiritual awakening process.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: And then spiritual enlightenment, right, is about bringing light to that.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: So you've got a spiritual awareness, spiritual awakening, and then to just spiritually know something.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Over time, you just know it that you know it.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: And for a lot of you, you've reached that era of time in your world where you've got the house, you've got the family, you've got the business, you've got plenty of money.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: Everything is good.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: You and your partner, you know, you may be on your first one still, you may be on your fourth one, whatever it is, but things are pretty okay.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: And you just know that you know, though, that something's missing.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: We're gonna talk about the something that's missing.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: We're gonna talk about how I found that and how I became aware of that in my own world.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: And for me, what happened was I have this powerful experience in September 2022, and I read a woman's document, and she's talking about a grander tomorrow, which, if you're talking about or seeing a grander tomorrow, that's your divinity speaking.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: This woman is a brilliant writer.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: And then I heard this same person on this thing called a podcast, which I didn't even know what it was back then.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: I hear her, and my heart opens.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: So I have this powerful opening.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: Now, at the time, I really thought it was emotional, but after two or three months, I mean, I never met this woman, you know.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: So I'm a 60-year-old guy.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: I literally felt like I had a crush on a person I never met.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: It was bizarre.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna tell you that straight up.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: And so I knew it wasn't emotional.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: How can you have a crush on someone you don't even know?
- 28:25SPEAKER_01: But that's what it felt like, literally the experience.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: Three years later, what I realized was what happened for Joe for the first time in my life, and almost the only time, is that this woman's heart, the way she connected to her spiritual essence of her heart, more expanded than me.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: So it wasn't an emotional experience, it was an expansive experience.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: Well, in that expansion, right?
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: So now Joe is living the expansion.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: So what happens?
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Two more books come through me, one called Unequally Yoked, one called We.
- 28:57SPEAKER_01: We now we've turned into a book called Why We Feel Alone.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: That's the second book going to be coming out here in a few months.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: But in that awakening, in that opening, I start then moving into my career path.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: Now, this career path.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: For 16 years, I've owned a company called Avion Energy.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: I still own the company called Avion Energy.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: My last podcast, I said, you know, you can live your passion, live your purpose, but it's not your passion and purpose's responsibility to pay your bills.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: The reason I can do these podcasts, the reason I can write books, the reason I can travel the globe speaking is because Avion Energy is a company that's been around since 2010.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: We do very well.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: We offer a fabulous service and we make money.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: That's how we pay my bills.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: All of our bills.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: There's 15, 20 of us.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: So I get this awakening, and then I just am guided.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: Well, one day out of nowhere in this period, right?
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: So this date's back 2022.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: So 2023 happens, and you know, then things just start moving forward.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: And I get a phone call.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: I get a message.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: Hey, Joe, you want to do a TEDx?
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: I'm like, sure, I'd love to do a TEDx.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: He says, Great.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: He says, Meet me in South Africa.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: I remember I call it my gulp moment.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: I was like, South Africa the country.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: He's like, Yeah, South Africa, the country.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: I'll put you on a TEDx stage.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: I was like, great, I'll go.
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: Did it?
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: Went there, went to South Africa.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: When I got there, I'm not much of a traveler.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: I want to be.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: I look forward to traveling the globe.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: The globe is such a beautiful place and such beautiful people.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: And I get there and I meet a community, a culture of some of the most loving, connected, clear-eyed human beings I'd ever met.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: Ever.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: So just walking around, I'm having a spiritual experience.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: I go up, I do my TED, have a great time.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: After my presentation, a gentleman sits down with me.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: He's a tour guide from the Serengeti.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: His name is Praise.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: And he's talking, and he so he's like, Yeah, I grew up, you know, in the normal village here, and he was in from the Serengeti.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: And he says, You know, Joe, the normal village, no shoes, no water, and you know, the big mountain, the big rock across the way.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: We played on that all the time.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: It was Mount Kilmanjar, the mountain.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: And I heard the no water, but I wasn't going to interrupt this man's beautiful story.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: So I didn't think much more, but it stuck with me.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: Next morning, I get a one of the speakers, another global speaker's name's Chris.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: And Chris says, anybody up for an adventure, meet me in the restaurant at 6 a.m.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: We'll go on an adventure.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: I was like, great, I'll go.
- 31:45SPEAKER_01: So Chris is a global traveler, literally.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: This man, his name's Chris Hardwick, and he's got this amazing business out there, and he walks mountains.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: When I met him back a year and a half ago, he had climbed over 370 mountains in his lifetime.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: He's younger than me, he's upper 50s, brother.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: And so we're walking.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: I said, So, Chris, what is this no water thing?
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: He kind of looks at me puzzled.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: He says, Oh, yeah, Joe, it's a real epidemic, it's a real problem.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: It's like, I don't know what you're talking about.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: Slow down and tell me, what are you talking about, Chris?
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: He says, Joe, there are over 400 million people in the continent of Africa alone that do not have running water in their homes.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: I remember gulping and I felt like my head exploded.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: I couldn't believe it.
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: Like, how can that possibly be?
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: It's 2025, I said.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, Joe, it's a global epidemic.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: I had no idea.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: I said to myself later, I'm back in Atlanta.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you know, everywhere I look, people have water.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: Even homeless people in Atlanta can go on the back of a quick trip, turn on the freaking faucet, and there's running water.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: So my brain just couldn't wrap around it.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: I really couldn't.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: And then we're driving, we're walking.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: I see these two beautiful young, I don't know, eight, 10, 12-year-old boys.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: I said, Chris, what about them?
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: He says, Oh no, Joe, there's no way.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: And Chris was taking me around some pretty cool places.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: He says, There's no way.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: And then I'm looking around, I said, but they have cell phones.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: And all he does is he points up.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh my gosh, yeah, satellites.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: So the technology and the country provides very, very cheap satellite service for phones so people can have phones, but there's no infrastructure for water.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I'm a guy when I see something that I believe is broken, I can't not look.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: I can't act like I didn't see it.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: I can't like not pay attention.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: I just can't do it.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: I'm flying back 18 hours and I'm being inspired.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: I'm writing all this stuff down and I come up with this thing called Project Smile, which I'm going to tell you about here in a minute.
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: But I write down.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: And when I'm inspired, I don't try, I just have pads of paper and I write as fast as I can.
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: I hear it, right?
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: And I started thinking, like, what is the answer?
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: This is nuts.
- 34:21SPEAKER_01: There's no way that 400 million people shouldn't have water.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: Like, what are we going to do about it?
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: We, meaning like I'm talking to anybody.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: I'm literally on an 18-hour flight.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: No one was in my row.
- 34:32SPEAKER_01: It's me talking to me.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: So I get back and I go online and so I reach out.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: I find a guy who's a caregiver in Uganda on LinkedIn.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: And he asked me for$50.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: And what I'm going to share now is where I came up with the whole concept of the generation of change, because we live in an era of time right now.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: August the 15th, when I'm doing this recording in northern Indiana, is this recording will travel the globe, but we live in an era of time unlike any other era of time ever in the past.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: And that's where I say the generation of change.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: And he says, there's a little girl named Patricia who has broken her arm and she doesn't have the money for care.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: I was like, great.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: How much?
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: 50 bucks.
- 35:25SPEAKER_01: And I found a way.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: I didn't know how to do it.
- 35:29SPEAKER_01: I'm in Atlanta.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: He's in Uganda.
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: I don't know how far is that 10,000 miles.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: All the way on the other side of the globe.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: Well, lo and behold, I find an app called WorldMet.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: Click, click, click.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: He's got my$50.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: And it took me a while, but it literally, once I found the app, once I didn't know it even existed, then I realized that that was really simple$50.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: Now, what surprised me was within two hours, he and 22 kids sent me a video thanking Mr.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: Joe for the$50.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: Again, I wep because technology was so powerful.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: And the first reason we live in the generation of change is because of technology.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: You know, there's not a human in need around the globe anywhere that somebody doesn't know they exist.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: They do.
- 36:30SPEAKER_01: Everybody in need, there are people aware of their needs.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: And unlike just 20 years ago, like, and I learned this, which I'm getting ready to tell you now from my friend Praise, because Praise says now in the Serengeti, like he said, because anywhere you drill on the planet, there's water.
- 36:49SPEAKER_01: You just have to be able to go deep enough.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: Hear me.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: Anywhere on the planet, if you drill deep enough, you'll hit an aquifer deep enough.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: Well, in the Serengeti, it was either 250 feet deep or 450 feet deep.
- 37:03SPEAKER_01: And don't quote me, I don't know, really deep.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: I think it's 250 feet deep.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: And 20 years ago, because it's remote, you know, he's out there literally in the middle of nowhere.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: The water's under there, but they couldn't reach it because technology wasn't.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: And I said, So how much, price, to drill a well?
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: He says 30 grand.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: 30,000, you could have a well.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: How many people would that like satisfy?
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: Says an entire village, three or four thousand people.
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: So, and I said, So why don't they have it?
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: Says money.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: There's no money.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: So, and he's the one who explained it to me.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: He said, 20 years ago, even if you had the money, the same well 20 years ago might have been a half a million dollars because they didn't have the technology they do now.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: They didn't have the equipment, they didn't have the radars and the sensors to find the water.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: Water is easily found now with technology of 2026.
- 38:04SPEAKER_01: So the first thing that makes us, you and me, part of the generation of change is technology.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: The next thing is wealth.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: Wealth.
- 38:17SPEAKER_01: We live in the wealthiest global economy ever.
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: Now, I'm not saying you aren't having a challenge paying for your Mercedes.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying you're not having a challenge paying for your second car.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying you're not having a challenge because college costs you$250,000.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying you're not going through financial challenges.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: I'm saying, as a global economy, there is more wealth that moves through our global economy in one hour than there used to be existence of money 100 years ago.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: That I did the math.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: Hear what I just said.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: There is more money, global economy, you know, US, the whole world, all the way all of us spend money.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: More money moving through the global economy in one hour than there used to be in existence a hundred years ago.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: So what does that tell me?
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: It tells me that there is plenty of money because the only challenge, like Prey said, if I had$60,000, Joe, I could build a well, I could build a greenhouse, we could plant food in the greenhouse that would literally feed and give water and food to a community of 3,000 people.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: Well, a lot of them now starve and you know they go through their challenges all the time because they don't have it.
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: He said, if he just had that amount of money,$50,060,000, he could do it.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: And that's when I was thinking this whole thing when I was on my trip coming back from South Africa.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: Now I am entrepreneurial big time.
- 40:06SPEAKER_01: I am quad A entrepreneur.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: I hope everybody on this podcast goes out and makes a million dollars.
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: I hope you become the next owner of the next Apple.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: Go make yourself a hundred billion.
- 40:18SPEAKER_01: Be the next whoever you want to be.
- 40:20SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 40:21SPEAKER_01: Because there's plenty of money for people to do plenty of things with.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: But what I said when I'm sitting in my seat, which is back in row 43, I think it costs$3,000 or$2,500 or something, going to South Africa.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: And the people in the front, we're going to on the same plane, going to the same place.
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: They were spending$20,000, somebody was spending$20,000 so they could stretch their legs.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: My legs were pretty stretched.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: I didn't have anyone sitting next to me.
- 40:50SPEAKER_01: So I thought to myself, any human that has$20,000 to spend on a flight that to stretch their legs would have$10,000 for a well.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: That's the wealth.
- 41:03SPEAKER_01: That's the extra.
- 41:04SPEAKER_01: That's where I came up with the concept of 1% one time.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: So technology, grander than ever before.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: Wealth, grander than ever before.
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: And part of what I did with Project Smile, and I'm going to tie all this together at the end of this podcast, but we live in the wealthiest society ever.
- 41:25SPEAKER_01: Now, the other thing that I just learned as I got back from South Africa, that for the past 20, 30 years, there's a whole world of people whose passion is to be hands on the ground, boots on the ground, touching people, helping communities in need.
- 41:46SPEAKER_01: Is that Joe's passion?
- 41:48SPEAKER_01: No, my passion is awareness.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: I do my podcast.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: It's literally a Saturday night at 8:45.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: I'm getting ready to go to a funeral.
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: I had to excuse myself from my family for an hour so I could do this podcast because I'll be traveling.
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: This particular podcast won't be released for a week, but I'm traveling.
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: My passion is what you're experiencing from me now.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: This is Joe's passion.
- 42:09SPEAKER_01: But there are people that have been spiritually guided to be hands on the ground.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: I got a good friend, and I met all and I met these people.
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: I've known probably 15 of them now.
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: I was never even looking.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: I met this one man.
- 42:23SPEAKER_01: He owns, it's called Water something, Water Works or something.
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: And 30 years ago, 25 years ago now, probably.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: His name is Tom.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: Tom was in church and he was kind of out of church.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: And an old preacher, an old pastor came up to him and said, Tom, you need to get those kids back in church.
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: Tom, being the good Italian, you know, he waited till the priest turned around, cussed him out, and said to his wife, all right, let's take the kids.
- 42:51SPEAKER_01: Well, at that particular service, they were talking about a mission trip to Dominican Republic.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: And Tom said to his wife, he said, Let's go.
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: The wife said, I'm not going.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: You can't make me go.
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: Let's just go.
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: Come on, listen.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: And this is Tom talking.
- 43:05SPEAKER_01: He says, Here's the deal.
- 43:07SPEAKER_01: You come to Dominican Republic with me, and our trip to Europe, I'll make it from two weeks to six.
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: His wife said, All right, what the hell?
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: Week in Dominican Republic, six weeks in Europe, I'm in, she says.
- 43:20SPEAKER_01: Well, sure enough, Tom goes down there, absolutely falls in love with the people, absolutely sees a need with the because his background was filtration systems.
- 43:30SPEAKER_01: And for 30 years, Tom, I think his last name is Flame, Tom Flame has been working in his nonprofit that is very established to help the water crisis in the island of Dominican Republic.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: As I'm listening to Tom talk, he says, you know, as the oceans have rise, risen a little bit, they filled the caverns.
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: So when you drill on an island like Dominican Republic, you used to be able to hit front.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Water.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Well, those days are over.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: So they have to the only way they get fresh water, it has to be desalinized.
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: So, and I don't know the details, I'm paraphrasing all of that.
- 44:08SPEAKER_01: But the point is, 30 years ago, Tom was divinely guided, and spiritually, he's never left.
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: All these past 30 years, he built big businesses, he raised his kids, his kids are in college, kids went on, but for 30 years.
- 44:25SPEAKER_01: And that taught me was there is a whole generation of tens of thousands of prolonged caregivers already on the ground.
- 44:37SPEAKER_01: They're already there, they're already established.
- 44:40SPEAKER_01: I met another guy that he said, I can do wells in Somalia for$5,000 a piece.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: I just have to have he's got teams of people in Somalia.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: I said, How many wells do you want to do?
- 44:51SPEAKER_01: 40.
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: How much does that take?
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: Quarter of a million dollars.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: 5,000 wells.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: So he can't do just one well for 5,000.
- 44:58SPEAKER_01: He needs to have 50,000 and do 10 wells at a time in some of the roughest backcountry places in Somalia where they have zero water.
- 45:08SPEAKER_01: $5,000 a well.
- 45:10SPEAKER_01: I asked this man.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: His name is John something.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: John's probably 40 now.
- 45:16SPEAKER_01: He says, John, how long have you been doing this?
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: Told me that almost the exact same story.
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: Joe in high school went there, went back when I was 23.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: He lived there for five or six years, met his wife, he and his wife now raising kids.
- 45:29SPEAKER_01: And this gentleman for 15 years has been raising money for wells in Somalia.
- 45:35SPEAKER_01: Why do I tell that story?
- 45:37SPEAKER_01: Because the third component of the generation of change for today, 2026, there's a whole world of prolonged caregivers that are already on the ground.
- 45:47SPEAKER_01: And you know the only thing they're missing?
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: Not passion, not ability, not technology, not anything, not love.
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: Jesus, these are what love is.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: It's money.
- 45:57SPEAKER_01: The only thing they're missing is money.
- 45:59SPEAKER_01: And that brings me into the last component, which I call generation lap.
- 46:04SPEAKER_01: We are literally living in an era of time that has never happened in human history.
- 46:09SPEAKER_01: The young side of Generation Lap is that our children are coming in more spiritually connected, more spiritually aware, more spiritually gifted, more intelligent than we would ever be and could ever be.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: Everybody on this podcast knows some kid around them somewhere that every time you see him, they wow you.
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: They're smarter than you know.
- 46:31SPEAKER_01: They're musicians, they're whatever.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: My youngest son is literally a modern day Mozart.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: He's 14 years old.
- 46:39SPEAKER_01: He's right now learning how to trade the futures market all by himself.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: He's teaching himself.
- 46:45SPEAKER_01: I could go on and on.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: And people say, Well, Joe, is that the group gonna heal humanity?
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: I said, No, that's the next generation.
- 46:53SPEAKER_01: The other side of generation lap is there are more people that have made more money in shorter periods of time than ever before.
- 47:03SPEAKER_01: So there are more people that are in their late 40s, early 50s, early 60s, even early 70s that have made millions and millions and millions of dollars, and now they've got the rest of their life to go do something with that money, with their life.
- 47:20SPEAKER_01: And why they're lost is because their normal pursuit for the past 30 years is well, let's just go start another business.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: Well, they don't feel like starting another business.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: They got plenty of money, they don't want to go through the hard work.
- 47:33SPEAKER_01: And that position right there is where their humanity was the one for 20, 30 years was pursuing gratitude.
- 47:43SPEAKER_01: A beautiful expression of life called gratitude, pursuit of gratitude.
- 47:47SPEAKER_01: What does that mean?
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: You get up on a Monday morning, you work really hard, you put value out into the world, and you get money back, and you're grateful for the money.
- 47:56SPEAKER_01: You get up on a Tuesday morning and you teach your kids and you help your kids through college and they get their college diploma and you provide and you they're successful, and you're the one, you know, giving them the money and supporting the whole process.
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: You're empowering your kids.
- 48:10SPEAKER_01: Well, they get their diploma and you're grateful for it.
- 48:14SPEAKER_01: That's all part of the human experience.
- 48:16SPEAKER_01: It's wonderful.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: Now, a lot of you, you might not be in the excess of it, but you've got a job that pays your bills.
- 48:24SPEAKER_01: You got a car that you like, you have a partner that you like.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: The last time you bought a blouse that you like, you're buying the blouse and you're getting it, and you're grateful for the blouse.
- 48:32SPEAKER_01: That's a human experience, gratitude.
- 48:35SPEAKER_01: Well, where humanity is shifting is that there's a massive quantity of people that are moving from their humanity to their divinity.
- 48:46SPEAKER_01: They're moving from the pursuit of gratitude to the pursuit of grace.
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: And grace is when you give back, and your reward is in the giving, not in the receiving.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: The experience I got two years ago when Patricia, I did a live stream in this young Zuhili girl, she couldn't understand a word I said, these big, beautiful eyes, she moved her arm.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: I gave her$50.
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: No$50, I was told later they'd have to cut the arm off because they didn't have anywhere to care for.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: Well, the grace I felt for the giving of that$50 is the same today as it was two years ago.
- 49:28SPEAKER_01: Gratitude is an ever-fleeting experience.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: It's an ever-chasing experience.
- 49:33SPEAKER_01: It's a beautiful one, but you're ever chasing it.
- 49:36SPEAKER_01: You do something on a Monday, you know, you put it out there, you get back, you're grateful.
- 49:39SPEAKER_01: Then by Thursday, you're doing it again, you're pursuing gratitude.
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: Gratitude is an ever-chasing event, it's a human experience.
- 49:47SPEAKER_01: Well, with the waking up of humanity, the what's happening, we're waking up to the feminine side of ourselves.
- 49:52SPEAKER_01: And that feminine side of ourselves, there's a male side and female side, male side, mental, physical, female side, spiritual, emotional.
- 50:01SPEAKER_01: Well, as you're healing the depths of your emotions, and a lot of you are already emotionally pretty real stable, then you have your divinity, your higher sense of you that's ready to be activated.
- 50:12SPEAKER_01: I literally thought that's why my opening was thought, you know, if I heal my feelings and feel better, that I was kind of done.
- 50:18SPEAKER_01: And that's where I realized that that isn't the finish spot, that's the launch spot.
- 50:25SPEAKER_01: So for many of you, you've had a wonderful human life.
- 50:29SPEAKER_01: Your humanity's been wonderful, and you're not done.
- 50:32SPEAKER_01: That's the launch into the living of your divinity, the living of pursuing grace, the living in the giving back.
- 50:40SPEAKER_01: And how you find that answer is that's where you have to ask for guidance from a power greater than yourself, human self, higher self, inner self.
- 50:50SPEAKER_01: Emotionally, you're in challenges, ask the inner self, give a voice to the inner self by asking it what it's feeling.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: Well, it's the same experience, but now you're doing it with the grander part of yourself, the divine part of you.
- 51:03SPEAKER_01: You ask for guidance.
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: I say all the time, dear God, guide me.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: I don't know what your adjective is, but you ask, hey divinity, what is my life supposed to be?
- 51:14SPEAKER_01: And then you pray for strength and courage to pursue.
- 51:17SPEAKER_01: And that's where I came up with the whole idea of 1% one time.
- 51:22SPEAKER_01: Because for Joe, when I'm out there on the road, and that's where the We podcast came in, my ultimate goal on the We Podcast is to make sure every living human being in the continent of Africa has water.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: Joe, that's 400 million.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: And why do I care?
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: The only thing missing is money.
- 51:41SPEAKER_01: Well, we live in the most economically prosperous globe on the planet.
- 51:47SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna be creating a fund that will grow.
- 51:51SPEAKER_01: We're gonna use the profits of the fund in our prosperous economy out there, and we're gonna start healing the well.
- 51:58SPEAKER_01: We're gonna start building wells and healing humanity.
- 52:02SPEAKER_01: And that's where the 1% one time comes in.
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: And there's vast, there's millions and millions and millions of us looking for their next thing.
- 52:15SPEAKER_01: Well, the next thing is in giving back somehow, somehow.
- 52:19SPEAKER_01: Now, your giving back might be volunteer, your giving back might be build a nonprofit, your giving back might be build another business.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: It might be, but your giving back might also be to every once in a while put into Project Smile Global Fund.
- 52:35SPEAKER_01: Give your one percent.
- 52:37SPEAKER_01: I'm not asking for anything more than one percent from anybody, and you know, when my world gets to the place, I'm gonna put a very large amount of money in there, and I'll tell you when I do, because I'm gonna say, you know, if I can put X amount of dollars, you can put a little bit in the pursuit of your gratitude.
- 52:54SPEAKER_01: And why do we say that?
- 52:55SPEAKER_01: Because that whole fund is going to be help heal Africa and other places.
- 53:02SPEAKER_01: The globe needs water, and I share that because that's Joe's pursuit of grace.
- 53:08SPEAKER_01: It's Joe's giving back.
- 53:10SPEAKER_01: I don't know what yours is, but we are the generation of change because we live in an era of technology that with a click of a button, people can hear a million, a million, million people can hear this podcast.
- 53:24SPEAKER_01: Ye shall do what I have done in grander things is a biblical quote that I remembered for 30 years.
- 53:30SPEAKER_01: Well, that was Jesus saying it, Ye shall do what I have done in grander things.
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: Well, you know what?
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: Every time Jesus would speak about 300 people would hear it.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: This podcast right here, this episode alone, right here, a million people could hear it with a click of a button.
- 53:44SPEAKER_01: Technology.
- 53:46SPEAKER_01: Wells that weren't even available to be drilled 20 years ago now can be done with less and less money.
- 53:53SPEAKER_01: You name the it, my thing is water.
- 53:56SPEAKER_01: I don't know what your thing is.
- 53:58SPEAKER_01: Find your thing, and then find a place where you can just start working on it and accomplishing it in your phase, in your style.
- 54:09SPEAKER_01: And it doesn't matter size, it matters that you find your expression of love.
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: And when you're living from your expression of love, that's where true abundance comes from.
- 54:23SPEAKER_01: That's where true value comes from.
- 54:26SPEAKER_01: That's where we feel the best when we're living from our expression of love.
- 54:33SPEAKER_01: I don't know what yours is.
- 54:35SPEAKER_01: You're on mine now.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: This is a passion of mine to share.
- 54:40SPEAKER_01: As I create more and more solution-based services like divorce posts, I keep saying this one because I don't have the other five or six yet.
- 54:50SPEAKER_01: If you are a solution-based website out there that can handle a global audience, because you have to be technology has to be a major part of what you're doing.
- 55:01SPEAKER_01: Because you want, like literally, I introduced this divorce post concept on that video that I cried.
- 55:07SPEAKER_01: I will have told 50,000 people about that one website.
- 55:10SPEAKER_01: Why could I do that?
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: Because they use technology to support the whole process.
- 55:14SPEAKER_01: So we podcast as a podcast of awareness, but I'm going to have solution podcasts out there.
- 55:20SPEAKER_01: As I talk to the owners of these solution podcasts, I can absolutely guarantee you they'd say, Yeah, it's my purpose, it's my passion, it's my passion.
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: I'm doing it because I have a passion.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: I know that's what they're going to say.
- 55:32SPEAKER_01: I just do.
- 55:33SPEAKER_01: I can feel it in the hearts of people, literally.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: And the way that you on this podcast feel better and you move out into the world, and you literally, after you've healed your stuff and you've lived your life, as you get out there, and you might be one of those hands on the ground, or you might be the finances for somebody whose hands on the ground.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: Literally, Project Smile, my little nonprofit, I'm Project Smile's only fundraiser, I'm the only funder.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: And I've got two orphanages, about 70 kids, that for a couple hundred dollars a month, I keep them in shoes.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: We literally just bought$80 worth of seeds.
- 56:14SPEAKER_01: 30 kids will eat because this one man, the prolonged caregiver, will go out and plant, he calls it mace, it's corn.
- 56:22SPEAKER_01: And 820 kids will eat for a year for 80 bucks.
- 56:26SPEAKER_01: Find your it.
- 56:28SPEAKER_01: Maybe you're just the financing for something.
- 56:30SPEAKER_01: You're 1%.
- 56:32SPEAKER_01: And as you do, you're gonna love it.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: That whole the way it all wraps together, technology's out there, wealth is out there, prolonged caregivers are out there, and now there's a whole world of people searching for their next thing.
- 56:47SPEAKER_01: The reason they're lost, they're searching in the same place to live the next 20 years as they lived the last 20 years.
- 56:56SPEAKER_01: The spiritual awakening Joe had, and the spiritual awakening I'm teaching you here, is the answer to your next 20 years is not from your humanity.
- 57:06SPEAKER_01: The answer to the action steps of your next 20 years is in your divinity.
- 57:10SPEAKER_01: It's going to be something when you're doing something you love.
- 57:15SPEAKER_01: If God is love and love is an emotion, and emotions are in your heart, when you're doing something you love, you're doing God.
- 57:25SPEAKER_01: God is love, love is emotions, emotion is in your heart.
- 57:30SPEAKER_01: So when you're doing what you love, you're literally doing God, you're living God, you're living as the essence of your God essence, the creation.
- 57:42SPEAKER_01: We're all created in God's image.
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: How do we live the created in God's image concept?
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: Do something you love to do.
- 57:49SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 57:50SPEAKER_01: Because if God is love, when you're doing it, you're literally living your highest sense of self.
- 57:56SPEAKER_01: Folks, thanks for being here.
- 57:58SPEAKER_01: This is an exciting time.
- 58:00SPEAKER_01: We live in an amazing era of time, and we're literally at a place.
- 58:05SPEAKER_01: We are the generation of change.
- 58:07SPEAKER_01: We're doing it all different, and together we're making a difference.
- 58:11SPEAKER_01: Together we're healing humanity.
- 58:13SPEAKER_01: Together, the We podcast is exploding around the world, and together we're healing humanity.
- 58:19SPEAKER_01: One smile at a time.
- 58:21SPEAKER_01: And from around the world, welcome to We.
