- 0:12Speaker 1: You have to have you. When have you literally ever
- 0:16Speaker 1: read an article about yourself that didn't have that in there?

- 0:23Speaker 3: People don't here. We have gotten past my last name, Bob.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Well, you know, maybe because they didn't know you then

- 0:36Speaker 1: hung up in the past.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Well parents have even gotten past it, and they're the ones.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Yeah, my dad have gotten past it. I need I

- 1:10Speaker 3: I'm like, so proud of you.
- 1:12Speaker 1: What doesn't Hannah do honestly?

- 1:36Speaker 3: beautiful as ever, and Bobula Cansom too, shocks this whole thing,
- 1:41Speaker 3: I feel this whole thing.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Asley now, you are always just such a rare sunshine.
- 1:48Speaker 1: It's always so great to see you. And I will
- 1:49Speaker 1: tell you that here at the iHeartRadio podcast Family you
- 1:54Speaker 1: you are universally adored. Trista, am I lying?
- 1:59Speaker 3: He's not lying?
- 2:00Speaker 2: And everyone was so excited, like the behind the scenes people,
- 2:04Speaker 2: the producers and everyone, sugarman, everyone I love, I mean,
- 2:11Speaker 2: as does anyone who's ever met you. So and anyway, yes,
- 2:16Speaker 2: of course, I just love.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Seeing your face. Is rel in the house, she's she's
- 2:24Speaker 3: taking an app but she's actually singing right now I can.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, maybe we'll get to talk to you
- 2:32Speaker 2: long enough to where she'll is.
- 2:33Speaker 3: She's sleeping in a big girl bed. She is. But
- 2:36Speaker 3: you know what we did. And I was so afraid
- 2:38Speaker 3: of mom shamers and parental judgments out there, But what
- 2:44Speaker 3: we did because we just read we just moved her.
- 2:47Speaker 3: She was she's such a great sleeper and she is
- 2:50Speaker 3: three and a half. But she loved her crib so
- 2:54Speaker 3: much that I was like, oh no, this is going
- 2:56Speaker 3: to just destroy everything. But we moved the crib to
- 2:59Speaker 3: the baby, the baby that we're that's coming soon baby's room.
- 3:04Speaker 3: And we got her a big girl bed, but like
- 3:06Speaker 3: a day bed, and we turned it to face the wall.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Huh, so she can't.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Get in and out and she loves it. It's so
- 3:16Speaker 3: she's in a big girl bed. But we for the
- 3:18Speaker 3: transitional time while she gets used to like this bigger bed.
- 3:22Speaker 3: She's not just getting up in and out of her
- 3:24Speaker 3: bed and stuff. So but yeah, she's in a big
- 3:26Speaker 3: girl bed, so she won't be walking downstairs. In fact,
- 3:29Speaker 3: she usually actually me a nap until it's two here
- 3:32Speaker 3: right now, until like fourish. She's bill a great sleeper.
- 3:37Speaker 3: See why I didn't want to disturb anything.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yeah, especially so Blake are our youngest. Blake, who's two
- 3:42Speaker 1: and a half, just basically stopped napping this weekend. It's
- 3:48Speaker 1: been a grind. We're like we're talking about but his
- 3:50Speaker 1: brother was the same way. Grayson's stopped napping. It like
- 3:53Speaker 1: two and a half almost three, and we thought Blake
- 3:56Speaker 1: was going to just crush that and stay as a napper,
- 3:59Speaker 1: and man, we are just we're just not feeling so
- 4:02Speaker 1: lucky right now.
- 4:03Speaker 3: No, it flips everything. But I don't know, maybe it's
- 4:06Speaker 3: not over because when Real turned two and a half,
- 4:10Speaker 3: we went through like such a drastic like it was
- 4:13Speaker 3: something I like, I was I couldn't stop crying for
- 4:16Speaker 3: like two weeks just because of her everything. Behavior, sleep, yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 3: changed drastically, and we were like, what just happened, and
- 4:24Speaker 3: we kind of kept up with it, and we just
- 4:26Speaker 3: kept going through the routine and it would take I
- 4:28Speaker 3: just kind of took like a week off of work
- 4:31Speaker 3: and responsibilities and I would sit with her and do that,
- 4:34Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden, two weeks later she
- 4:36Speaker 3: was back to napping. And she's three and a half.
- 4:39Speaker 3: So maybe don't give up.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Oh you know what, maybe I will. I will take
- 4:43Speaker 1: that to heart because he uh, when you said the behavior,
- 4:46Speaker 1: I was literally just talking to a friend of mine.
- 4:48Speaker 1: He's a huge Disney fan and I and I am
- 4:50Speaker 1: as well. I mean all parents probably are, but my son,
- 4:54Speaker 1: our youngest, has picked up on a few key words
- 4:57Speaker 1: that I've noticed show up in a lot of Disney movies.
- 5:00Speaker 1: One is Fool, where they'll be like, you know, you fool, like,
- 5:04Speaker 1: don't do that, you fool. And then the other uh
- 5:07Speaker 1: in the movie Cars, you know, where Lightning McQueen will
- 5:10Speaker 1: pull up and he's like, you know, no tires, just gas,
- 5:13Speaker 1: let's go, let's go, and the and the guy changing
- 5:15Speaker 1: the tires is like, you idiot. So yeah, I'm changing
- 5:21Speaker 1: his diaper this morning. It's like six am, and he's like,
- 5:24Speaker 1: don't touch my diaper, you idiot. And I'm like what.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And then he's like, you're a fool, and I'm like what.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I must be the worst parent alive, you.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Know, little sponges.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I think it could be worse bo a little bit
- 5:38Speaker 2: worse than idiot and fool.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's funny. I do have a couple of examples that
- 5:43Speaker 1: some friends shared with me today who I just told
- 5:45Speaker 1: that story to and they're like, oh, that's nothing. Here's
- 5:47Speaker 1: what my son said to me at that age, you know,
- 5:50Speaker 1: so yeah, exactly.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Well we also hit the three and a half mark,
- 5:53Speaker 3: you know, so she I think that at these half marks,
- 5:56Speaker 3: they definitely there's like, you know, two weeks later then
- 5:59Speaker 3: I'll all of a sudden, they're doing like speaking in
- 6:02Speaker 3: full paragraphs and like big words and stuff. They're going
- 6:06Speaker 3: through so much. But around like that three and a
- 6:09Speaker 3: half marker, all of a sudden, she got me and
- 6:14Speaker 3: now she's back to her sweet sweet self. So like
- 6:18Speaker 3: it's just like a ride to say.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I wish I could like relate to you both. I'm
- 6:27Speaker 2: sure I could back then, but I don't remember anything,
- 6:30Speaker 2: So there will be one day when you don't. I mean,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I remember the good stuff, but I just don't remember
- 6:36Speaker 2: the like oh they stop sleeping at two and a half,
- 6:40Speaker 2: you know what I mean?
- 6:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, so one of these days. Can't be believe
- 6:44Speaker 3: Blakesley has a birthday coming up, doesn't she?
- 6:47Speaker 1: She just did.
- 6:48Speaker 3: She just had her birthday.
- 6:50Speaker 2: And Henley, she has a driver's permit.
- 6:55Speaker 3: No, how is that even possible? They still give them
- 6:59Speaker 3: out at fifteen. I was just selling Bob.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I took her for a drive around the neighborhood and
- 7:08Speaker 2: she's really anxious. Max could have cared less to drive.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Blakesley is so excited And I was driving around the
- 7:15Speaker 2: neighborhood and all of a sudden, like we're stopped and
- 7:18Speaker 2: my car, she's driving my car is giving like on
- 7:21Speaker 2: the on the dashboard, it's giving this error message.
- 7:23Speaker 3: And I'm like, Blakesley, what was that.
- 7:24Speaker 5: She's like, I don't know.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I wasn't looking. I don't know, And all of.
- 7:28Speaker 2: A sudden, I look down and I see that her
- 7:30Speaker 2: left foot is on the break and her right foot
- 7:34Speaker 2: is on the gas at the same.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Time, like a I think they call that like a
- 7:40Speaker 1: some type of burn or something like that. It's like
- 7:42Speaker 1: a car was like.
- 7:44Speaker 5: No, this is not what's supposed to be happening.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Take your foot off of wonder Oh my goodness, should
- 7:49Speaker 3: I should I share a really really bad moment in
- 7:52Speaker 3: my life when I was okay, so why I had
- 7:58Speaker 3: gotten my permit and my mom thought my dad had
- 8:01Speaker 3: like had gone around, had me going around the neighborhood,
- 8:04Speaker 3: and that I had had quite a bit of practice
- 8:06Speaker 3: under my belt. My mom had a friend in town.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I think we had just picked her up from the airport,
- 8:11Speaker 3: so she was still in the front passenger seat. My
- 8:13Speaker 3: mom gets into the back. My mom has me get
- 8:16Speaker 3: into the driver's seat. Was we're getting home and to
- 8:18Speaker 3: go around the block, and I had my pedals mixed
- 8:22Speaker 3: up and I accelerated as I kept turning and I
- 8:26Speaker 3: drove into a neighbor's fence and the telephone pole was
- 8:30Speaker 3: about this close to the passenger side.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I could have killed my mom's friend.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Thank god I did not, and or kept driving it
- 8:40Speaker 3: further into this person's house like this was some extreme
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yeah bad. Those petals are important. I still get years later,
- 8:52Speaker 3: like what pedal is the right pedal?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, yes, I will I will share. I
- 8:58Speaker 2: will share, like the Disney Princess even makes those mistakes. Yes,
- 9:03Speaker 2: oh yes, oh yes, I did a few, But I
- 9:06Speaker 2: like to think that I'm.
- 9:07Speaker 1: All for now.
- 9:10Speaker 3: You don't have to worry about it.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Okay, So how is pregnancy going the second time around?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Well, my body hates being pregnant. Maybe
- 9:23Speaker 3: I mean I am an older mom, but also that
- 9:26Speaker 3: I have all these ballet injuries and just the my
- 9:30Speaker 3: body's disposition, the way God made me. I just like,
- 9:33Speaker 3: my body hates it. But it's such a miracle. So
- 9:36Speaker 3: I'm obviously so blessed. And like this baby moves so much,
- 9:42Speaker 3: he's just pushing around and stuff. But it is hard
- 9:46Speaker 3: with a toddler. Yeah, my pregnancy with ral was I
- 9:51Speaker 3: had debilitating pain from kind of those hip issues and stuff,
- 9:54Speaker 3: and I've been able to stay on top of it
- 9:56Speaker 3: a lot better this time around, just kind of manage
- 10:00Speaker 3: so it's not debilitating, but it's still painful and uncomfortable.
- 10:04Speaker 3: And then add the toddler. I can't decide which pregnancy
- 10:08Speaker 3: it was harder. Maybe this. I'm just like exhausted.
- 10:12Speaker 1: My wife went through that on the second pregnancy, especially
- 10:16Speaker 1: because she was she was I always say she's an
- 10:19Speaker 1: incredible mom and a terrible pregnant person, only because when
- 10:23Speaker 1: she was dealing with everything, she would just be sick
- 10:25Speaker 1: every day. She would be, you know, exhausted. Then she
- 10:28Speaker 1: got a hernia through on her first pregnancy that then
- 10:33Speaker 1: in delivery got exacerbated, and then when she got pregnant
- 10:36Speaker 1: the second time, it was just like she had a
- 10:39Speaker 1: herney the whole time. Do you know what I mean?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh my gosh. So she wouldn't like
- 10:43Speaker 1: so I basically became like I would always say, like, well,
- 10:45Speaker 1: you're basically a bed rest for the next nine months,
- 10:48Speaker 1: because you know, so I would just like come home
- 10:50Speaker 1: from work and come in and be like her life
- 10:53Speaker 1: revolved around the couch or the bed because she was
- 10:57Speaker 1: just so in so much pain all the time. So yeah,
- 10:59Speaker 1: I can imagine and been dealing with our youngest are
- 11:02Speaker 1: our oldest now when she was pregnant the second time.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Definitely up the stakes.
- 11:07Speaker 3: It's so hard, but Dealer's been amazing about it. Like,
- 11:10Speaker 3: I have a lot of guilt. I'm definitely dealing with
- 11:13Speaker 3: that guilt of not being the best mom or wife
- 11:16Speaker 3: or like housekeeper, all the things that usually I keep
- 11:20Speaker 3: track of. And he's totally helping pick up the slack.
- 11:24Speaker 3: But like, my biggest guilt is like that I just
- 11:27Speaker 3: can't do. And it's like he totally says, you're growing
- 11:32Speaker 3: another member of our family, you're growing up in so
- 11:36Speaker 3: that that helps a little bit.
- 11:38Speaker 1: But yeah, that's a lot more important, Pickles. You know,
- 11:42Speaker 1: I think you got it, you got it down, you
- 11:43Speaker 1: got your focus in the right place for sure.
- 11:46Speaker 3: But we only have almost i mean, six ish more
- 11:50Speaker 3: weeks as long as she's on time or you're thirty
- 11:55Speaker 3: four weeks right now. I yeah, I'm going to my
- 11:57Speaker 3: thirty four.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Weeks, okay, amazing.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Oh mine was real born. Was she early or on time?
- 12:03Speaker 3: She was basically right on time. I went into labor
- 12:06Speaker 3: the day after her due date.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Oh I think I remember this that you were like, Okay,
- 12:12Speaker 2: I've had a horrible pregnancy, why can't you.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Just come out?
- 12:15Speaker 3: And then but the labor was a long one and
- 12:21Speaker 3: she finally came out. So but she was born in
- 12:23Speaker 3: a couple of days after her due dates, so right
- 12:27Speaker 3: on time. And then I'm hoping people say second, it's
- 12:30Speaker 3: usually come a little quicker. You give me that hope.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Did you have complications in your first pregnancy?
- 12:37Speaker 3: Complications?
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it took a long time. But were there any complications?
- 12:41Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, I mean if it's not too much for
- 12:43Speaker 3: the ears, I mean it's part of the body. They
- 12:46Speaker 3: couldn't find my cervix. Wait what when I went into
- 12:51Speaker 3: how does that open? Right? My? My contractions were once
- 12:57Speaker 3: two minutes apart. I had labored at home for like
- 13:00Speaker 3: a night and a whole day with my mother in
- 13:03Speaker 3: law who was used to be a doula. She had
- 13:05Speaker 3: helped been there, and she's like, okay, time to go
- 13:08Speaker 3: to hospital check in. Like I said, contractions were once
- 13:12Speaker 3: two minutes part like so narling, and I was trying
- 13:15Speaker 3: to go unmedicated, and the nurse that was checking us
- 13:20Speaker 3: in she's like, I'm sorry, honey, but I've been doing
- 13:23Speaker 3: this for seventeen years and I cannot find your cervix.
- 13:27Speaker 3: So the roll had gotten the head like like it
- 13:30Speaker 3: had gotten tucked behind. So I was not able to progress,
- 13:33Speaker 3: but my body was still doing all the work and
- 13:36Speaker 3: I kept trying to go until a shift changed. Nurse
- 13:40Speaker 3: like came in and like they hadn't told me what
- 13:43Speaker 3: I was at or anything. She's like, honey, you finally
- 13:45Speaker 3: made it to a six, And I was like a
- 13:48Speaker 3: six after all all hit me up with that stuff,
- 13:51Speaker 3: give me up. So that's like thinking back to that. No,
- 13:56Speaker 3: no major complications besides like not being able to yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 3: moving out. So oh my doctor did pull it forward.
- 14:06Speaker 3: He had to go in and find it, which is no, what.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Was that before or after you got the epidural?
- 14:15Speaker 3: That was before? Because I stole hours trying to be
- 14:19Speaker 3: rest on my own?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh yeah, I was like when she said that,
- 14:25Speaker 3: I was like, well do I have one? Oh my gosh,
- 14:33Speaker 3: you fine?
- 14:34Speaker 2: And you have to have a cervix right, like right,
- 14:37Speaker 2: it's like biologically necessary when you're delivered.
- 14:42Speaker 1: It's part of the pre wreck. I think, yes, you
- 14:45Speaker 1: have mentioned I thought I heard you say he then
- 14:49Speaker 1: I thought, I heard you say she so do we
- 14:51Speaker 1: know the gender?
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's another girl.
- 14:54Speaker 1: It's so great.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Yeah, so we have two two little sisters.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So we got it too.
- 15:01Speaker 2: I mean, just oh, she's so adorable. I want to
- 15:05Speaker 2: meet her in person, just like so Bob Tenley came
- 15:09Speaker 2: to see Blakesley. Well, she's come to our house before.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But Blakesley was a junior years ago. Later, what I'd
- 15:16Speaker 2: be like, Wait, that's so long ago.
- 15:19Speaker 3: She was probably four fifteen, nine years ago. Okay, so
- 15:26Speaker 3: she was six.
- 15:27Speaker 2: So so she came and watched her practice at the
- 15:32Speaker 2: junior Denver Brockco cheerleader practice.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you do.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Thing like to see those cute little girls beepopping around
- 15:39Speaker 2: with their pom poms.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Oh gosh, that is so awesome. I always saw we
- 15:44Speaker 1: were going to have a little girl. I really did.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I thought our I thought our second baby was going
- 15:48Speaker 1: to be a girl. I was convinced, and we we were,
- 15:52Speaker 1: you know, obviously very lucky to have another boy, and
- 15:55Speaker 1: you had to have the two little dudes running around,
- 15:57Speaker 1: is uh is definitely a different experience then I would
- 16:01Speaker 1: imagine two little girls, or you know, or even have
- 16:04Speaker 1: a boy and a girl. But it's funny because every
- 16:07Speaker 1: time anyone meets my wife, they're always like, yeah, you're
- 16:10Speaker 1: your boy mom for sure, because she just gets there
- 16:12Speaker 1: and just starts. Yeah, she's aggressive. I've been more like
- 16:17Speaker 1: a girl dad out of the background, Honey, do you
- 16:19Speaker 1: need anything, I'll be over here.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Looks so funny, Yeah, I would. I wouldn't know what
- 16:26Speaker 3: to do. I mean, I nannied a little boy for
- 16:28Speaker 3: a long time, but and I adored him and so
- 16:32Speaker 3: thought that I'd be a boy mom someday. And then
- 16:34Speaker 3: when I had real like, I'm such a girl mom,
- 16:37Speaker 3: and you know, but did you wait to find did
- 16:41Speaker 3: either of you wait to find out genders? Or did
- 16:43Speaker 3: you both find out beforehand?
- 16:46Speaker 2: I waited with Max, so first time we didn't want
- 16:51Speaker 2: to know, so we just painted the room. There was
- 16:55Speaker 2: like a I don't know if you remember this tenly,
- 16:57Speaker 2: but there was like a chocolate brown like ripe, like
- 17:00Speaker 2: a horizontal stripe, and then depending on whether it was
- 17:04Speaker 2: a boy or girl, we were going to paint blue
- 17:06Speaker 2: or pink stripes. And I think that my dad did
- 17:08Speaker 2: it before we actually got home. He did that so
- 17:11Speaker 2: cool or no, never mind, it was chocolate brown stripes
- 17:15Speaker 2: vertically and then well, yeah we had like the blue
- 17:19Speaker 2: or the pink paint, and yeah, we didn't find out
- 17:22Speaker 2: with Max, which was really fun, like I wanted to
- 17:24Speaker 2: be traditional and you know, not finding out. But then
- 17:28Speaker 2: with Blakesley, we just, you know, figured we'd do it
- 17:30Speaker 2: differently and see if we could.
- 17:32Speaker 3: It's fun to know, huh. I'm sure it's fun to
- 17:35Speaker 3: be surprised at the end, but I feel like birth
- 17:38Speaker 3: itself is enough of a surprise. My sister in law
- 17:40Speaker 3: has done three babies, didn't know any of their genders. Really,
- 17:45Speaker 3: I'm surprised time. But for me it's like this is hard.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I like to visualize and kind of bond, like try out,
- 17:54Speaker 3: nay stuff like that.
- 17:56Speaker 1: We were told originally that our second was twins, and
- 18:01Speaker 1: I lost my mind because I was I'm fifty three
- 18:04Speaker 1: right now and my son is fifty is two and
- 18:07Speaker 1: a half, so I was fifty and I'm like twins,
- 18:12Speaker 1: and I almost had an attack. I almost literally had
- 18:14Speaker 1: a hard attack on the spot. And then they came
- 18:17Speaker 1: back like a week later, and I'm like I finally
- 18:19Speaker 1: got my head around it, and I'm like, oh my god,
- 18:21Speaker 1: this would be amazing if it's a boy and a girl,
- 18:23Speaker 1: because then we get the girl and you know, or
- 18:26Speaker 1: you know, or two girls, I mean, you know, and
- 18:28Speaker 1: then and then the guy's like, it's a bully and
- 18:30Speaker 1: then actually it's a boy. And I kind of forgot
- 18:33Speaker 1: that he told us it was going to be twins.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And this guy's not like a quack or anything. I
- 18:36Speaker 1: don't know what happened, but I'm like, okay, that's the
- 18:39Speaker 1: first one. Because this was during COVID, so I couldn't
- 18:42Speaker 1: even go to the appointment, right and getting the altar solid.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I'm sitting at home, like on my phone watching you know, Grayson,
- 18:50Speaker 1: and I'm like and and he's like and what. I'm like, well,
- 18:52Speaker 1: you said it's a boy. What what's the other one?
- 18:54Speaker 1: He's like, what are you talking about. I'm like, dude,
- 18:56Speaker 1: we twins coming. And he's like, oh, sorry, the reading
- 19:01Speaker 1: was you know, off and you know whatever, No, just
- 19:03Speaker 1: one yeah, boy in there. I'm like, okay, yeah, so
- 19:06Speaker 1: I was did you twin you know what? The way
- 19:11Speaker 1: this kid eats, that's very possible. It's very it's probable.
- 19:14Speaker 3: In fact, I'm just kidding.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Believe me. He's a grocery getter at this one. But yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 1: He If he did, you know, then I'm sad to
- 19:24Speaker 1: hear it. But no, something happened. It was crazy.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Emotions.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I was.
- 19:34Speaker 3: I mean for you, yes, but your wife.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I can't even imagine the emotions she's going through, Like, gosh,
- 19:40Speaker 2: my body is going to be housing not just fun.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, like you know she yeah, she's like what I
- 19:50Speaker 1: couldn't even She's like, your kids are huge now. The
- 19:53Speaker 1: first one came out, he's like nine pounds. Where am
- 19:55Speaker 1: I going to put it? Kidding?
- 19:57Speaker 3: Two of them?
- 19:58Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 20:00Speaker 5: Yeah, baby names?
- 20:11Speaker 3: Do you have baby names?
- 20:12Speaker 2: And you're probably not going to share, but do you
- 20:14Speaker 2: have them picked out?
- 20:15Speaker 3: We do? We have. We definitely have a up contender
- 20:21Speaker 3: and we won't name her until we meet her, and
- 20:24Speaker 3: we're not sharing it. But it let's see. I gave
- 20:29Speaker 3: a hint on Instagram, but it I don't think it
- 20:32Speaker 3: will help. But I'll say two things. It was one
- 20:36Speaker 3: of our top boy names. It is definitely what we
- 20:40Speaker 3: were going to name our boy. It's not going to
- 20:43Speaker 3: be every cup of tea. I'm sure my parents when
- 20:45Speaker 3: I first tell her her name, if we name her like,
- 20:49Speaker 3: they'll probably be like huh. And I'll just say, but
- 20:51Speaker 3: you named me Tanley. So and then it's also a
- 20:58Speaker 3: part of a song that we love, and so a
- 21:01Speaker 3: lot of people started guessing names from songs that just
- 21:04Speaker 3: saying those are my two hints. It was a boy name,
- 21:07Speaker 3: and that's part of a song we love.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Interest, I love it now, you love it like a
- 21:11Speaker 1: spinning right now my mind. I was like you said
- 21:15Speaker 1: it first, it was like a hot boy name. I'm
- 21:16Speaker 1: like Shane, and I don't know why I've never even
- 21:19Speaker 1: thought of that.
- 21:19Speaker 3: That's cute. That is cute. Actually, I love for girls.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we went to Blake for our son, and we
- 21:32Speaker 1: were expecting it to be a girl and we were
- 21:33Speaker 1: gonna name it Blake, and so we had Blake for
- 21:36Speaker 1: either one. So I like, I like the names that
- 21:38Speaker 1: can go in the different direction.
- 21:40Speaker 2: You know.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I mean, Tenley and Trista are both such, you know,
- 21:43Speaker 1: boring basic names. And then you got like a real
- 21:46Speaker 1: original one like Bob, and people are like, oh my god,
- 21:49Speaker 1: how do I get my head around a name like that.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I'm going to go back and look at your instagrams
- 21:56Speaker 2: and see around when you were giving birth and see
- 21:59Speaker 2: if there's any.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Yeah, right, she probably not. She deleted it if there's
- 22:07Speaker 3: I don't think there's anything out there. My like my
- 22:09Speaker 3: best girlfriends and my sister like all trying to remember,
- 22:13Speaker 3: like you saw your baby name list at one point,
- 22:17Speaker 3: what was on there? What was on there? But it's unique.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I feel like you have do you have your room ready?
- 22:27Speaker 2: It is the nursery ready to go.
- 22:28Speaker 3: There's furniture in there, there's decas on the wall. We're
- 22:32Speaker 3: waiting for some uh B lines and like now it's
- 22:36Speaker 3: time for me to organize and like wash rerolls old
- 22:39Speaker 3: clothes and have a sprinkle coming up in a few
- 22:43Speaker 3: weeks and a weekend and so maybe there will be
- 22:47Speaker 3: a little extra things that will help me fill in
- 22:50Speaker 3: the space and make it feel like it's a functional room.
- 22:53Speaker 3: So yeah, it's coming along.
- 22:55Speaker 1: That's so exciting. Yeah, So today we posted this picture.
- 23:01Speaker 1: We had Easter this weekend with our family because we
- 23:04Speaker 1: were out of town the week before, and we took
- 23:07Speaker 1: a family picture and we don't get a bunch of them,
- 23:10Speaker 1: like we try, but they're always ruined. And so we
- 23:13Speaker 1: have one and my young my oldest son is holding
- 23:16Speaker 1: a pink egg. And I realized no one reads my
- 23:20Speaker 1: captions because I think my captions are kind of funny.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Apparely no one reads them because they're all like, little girl,
- 23:26Speaker 1: are you announcing a girl?
- 23:27Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, oh, that's funny.
- 23:30Speaker 1: They're like, well, look at in the second picture. Why
- 23:32Speaker 1: is Grayson got an angry face? Because my son is
- 23:34Speaker 1: like this. Everyone else is smiling, and he's like you,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I thank you, trist at least someone paying attention to
- 23:40Speaker 1: what I say around here. And I'm like, you know,
- 23:43Speaker 1: no read the thing. I took his iPad away to
- 23:45Speaker 1: get a picture taken and he was he was angry,
- 23:47Speaker 1: and they're like, oh, we thought he was mad. He
- 23:48Speaker 1: was getting a sister. Like my mom, I thought he's man,
- 23:51Speaker 1: he's getting a sister. So uh, I'm like mom, I'm
- 23:55Speaker 1: like eighty, Like what do you I don't want to
- 23:57Speaker 1: do this to a child. Like honestly, I'm gonna be like,
- 24:01Speaker 1: if I had a kid, right if we got pregnant
- 24:03Speaker 1: right now, I would be seventy one when that little
- 24:06Speaker 1: rugrat turned eighteen. What a disservice that I'm gonna be
- 24:11Speaker 1: like an old seventy one.
- 24:12Speaker 3: You're young at heart, Yeah, you're young at heart. And
- 24:15Speaker 3: also somebody there was this statistic going around maybe it's
- 24:19Speaker 3: not a statistic, but like something was going around Instagram
- 24:23Speaker 3: saying the older parents actually live longer.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Oh, that's probably true.
- 24:27Speaker 3: And so I mean, I'm gonna live till I'm one
- 24:30Speaker 3: hundred my children right now, I'm gonna be forty when
- 24:36Speaker 3: this baby, well, this baby's do dates around my birthday.
- 24:41Speaker 1: That's all.
- 24:41Speaker 3: So are you high risk?
- 24:42Speaker 2: Because I was like thirty six, I feel like and
- 24:47Speaker 2: I was high risk?
- 24:48Speaker 3: Are you? Are you high risk? No, I'm not high risk,
- 24:50Speaker 3: but I am geriatric.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah that's a nice number, right, you're thirty two? Is
- 24:56Speaker 1: it thirty two or thirty three? When they say you're
- 24:58Speaker 1: geriatric thirty five? I think fine.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Okay, so I think and I was that when I
- 25:03Speaker 3: was pregnant with Roll too, but yeah, they you know,
- 25:07Speaker 3: my doctor's office is so sweet about it. I think
- 25:09Speaker 3: it's pretty common now, like that people are getting pregnant
- 25:12Speaker 3: later in life. And I have a couple of friends
- 25:15Speaker 3: that had babies in their forties and so, you know,
- 25:19Speaker 3: and thankfully I have no like other complications or anything
- 25:23Speaker 3: that would cause me to be high risk. But they
- 25:26Speaker 3: they do treat you differently, and maybe they've changed how
- 25:29Speaker 3: they call what they call it and how they treated
- 25:32Speaker 3: you sixteen years ago. But yeah, now I can't believe that.
- 25:41Speaker 3: But now, yeah, they I just a couple more like
- 25:44Speaker 3: anatomy scans, which obviously you don't have to do them,
- 25:48Speaker 3: but I'm like might as well.
- 25:50Speaker 2: And then anatomy scans.
- 25:54Speaker 3: So they look at the baby like I have to
- 25:55Speaker 3: go to a specialty doctor to like see the baby
- 25:58Speaker 3: in like they do the three D. And then they
- 26:01Speaker 3: look at all the like the blood and like the
- 26:04Speaker 3: the valves of their little chambers of their hearts and
- 26:07Speaker 3: like brain and just like really watching growth. Yeah, basically
- 26:15Speaker 3: checking like checking on baby a little bit more. Yeah,
- 26:19Speaker 3: so far, so good.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And he's loving getting ready for baby.
- 26:28Speaker 3: She's really excited. And she keeps saying, it's almost May,
- 26:32Speaker 3: and May my sister comes, Mom, is it May? Is
- 26:35Speaker 3: Grandma Beth coming yet? My mom's going to come down.
- 26:37Speaker 3: My parents will both come down, but my mom will
- 26:39Speaker 3: be here hopefully in time for I want baby to
- 26:44Speaker 3: come early, so I have my mom coming early enough
- 26:47Speaker 3: so she'll be here to hang out with L. But yeah,
- 26:50Speaker 3: so LL's kind of like focused on those things. But
- 26:52Speaker 3: I think her world's going to be rocked quite a bit.
- 26:54Speaker 3: But I'm doing the best I can and kind of
- 26:56Speaker 3: like talking to her already about like, you know, mommy's
- 27:00Speaker 3: going to hold the baby a lot, but you and
- 27:03Speaker 3: I'm going to take care of the baby. She's gonna
- 27:05Speaker 3: need mommy a lot. You're gonna share mommy, but just
- 27:08Speaker 3: let me know if you need special mommy in real time.
- 27:11Speaker 3: And obviously I'm trying to already tell her that she
- 27:15Speaker 3: can ask, even though I'm going to need to probably
- 27:19Speaker 3: make sure I'm doing it just as much because she's
- 27:21Speaker 3: not going to know to ask.
- 27:23Speaker 1: But yeah, that's very mindful of you. That's really thoughtful.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Well, I'm the oldest child in my family. My sister
- 27:30Speaker 3: came five years after me, so I think that there
- 27:33Speaker 3: must be some scars there. Yeah, I had five years
- 27:39Speaker 3: of my parents to myself, so I think my world
- 27:42Speaker 3: was rocked a little bit. So I am very sensitive
- 27:44Speaker 3: to becoming an older That's really great, that's really sweet.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I think just being cognizant of it and making sure
- 27:54Speaker 2: that you still make time for just you and rel
- 27:58Speaker 2: is really special.
- 27:59Speaker 3: We've had like really just like she's been my best pal.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Like I love our routine and I love just how
- 28:06Speaker 3: we do life and the things that we do together
- 28:08Speaker 3: and just I don't know what's she's me being a
- 28:12Speaker 3: mom really fun besides those half markers, those really hard
- 28:17Speaker 3: parenting days. But yeah, I am prepared for her world
- 28:22Speaker 3: to be rocked a little bit, but she's excited. I
- 28:24Speaker 3: think she yeah, gets it pretty much.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Does she have their friends who have little babies in
- 28:31Speaker 2: their house?
- 28:32Speaker 3: Yeah, and cousins too, Like her youngest cousin is one
- 28:37Speaker 3: and a half, so she saw her aunt being pregnant
- 28:40Speaker 3: and when he was new, although she was still younger
- 28:45Speaker 3: at that point, but she kind of gets it.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Yeah, No, other than us, I want to shift gears
- 28:53Speaker 1: a little here. Other than us, how often are you
- 28:57Speaker 1: keeping up with the Bachelor World? Do you keep your
- 29:00Speaker 1: like a toe in the pool at all? And like
- 29:02Speaker 1: watch the show or where are you at with all
- 29:05Speaker 1: that stuff?
- 29:05Speaker 3: Of course I watched the show. I'm still a fan
- 29:09Speaker 3: of watching the show, probably not as diligently like on
- 29:13Speaker 3: top of it, as like I once was without a child.
- 29:16Speaker 3: But Taylor watches it with me. But he's still never
- 29:19Speaker 3: seen any of my shows, which is fine with me.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Canyon claims my wife claims she never saw my
- 29:28Speaker 1: season either yet her mom will be like, oh, you
- 29:30Speaker 1: were my favorite Bachelor of course. Yeah, so I'm interesting.
- 29:34Speaker 1: So Jessica never watched it yet she lived at home
- 29:37Speaker 1: at that time.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Interesting, But I was gonna say, like, did Taylor ever,
- 29:42Speaker 1: so he's never been curious enough to dig through the archives?
- 29:46Speaker 3: Well, so he actually like, he doesn't remember it, but
- 29:50Speaker 3: he did watch like the first night of my season
- 29:54Speaker 3: because there was a girl that had gone to his school,
- 29:58Speaker 3: Christina McCaslin, who went to Ranch. What school did they
- 30:04Speaker 3: go to anyway, Santa Fe. Christian and Christina had been
- 30:10Speaker 3: like in Taylor's sisters year or something, and so they
- 30:14Speaker 3: did watch the first night. But he doesn't remember. Taylor's
- 30:20Speaker 3: actually on me so he was quite young when I
- 30:23Speaker 3: was on. But so he yeah, and then he he
- 30:29Speaker 3: hasn't really shown any curiosity. I'm like, if the only
- 30:32Speaker 3: one I'd actually feel comfortable with him watching is the
- 30:35Speaker 3: very first on The Bachelor with Jake, because I just
- 30:39Speaker 3: I am such a different person from that when I
- 30:43Speaker 3: was on that, and I just grew so much from
- 30:46Speaker 3: then on, and then that was it was it was
- 30:51Speaker 3: an important part of my life. But I turned it
- 30:54Speaker 3: on because it was on Hulu and I had seen
- 30:56Speaker 3: it and he was like on a call to China
- 30:58Speaker 3: for work, sitting on the couch, and so I started
- 31:01Speaker 3: kind of watching it out of curiosity, and all of
- 31:03Speaker 3: a sudden, I saw myself kiss Jake and I was like, well,
- 31:07Speaker 3: never mind, I don't feel comfortable watching this, so so yeah,
- 31:11Speaker 3: so I turned it off. But he's never He's seen
- 31:14Speaker 3: little clips here and there, and.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah, would you show the girls when they get older?
- 31:21Speaker 3: Yeaheah, I think it's kind of uh. I think it's cool.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I think to see those moments of me having like
- 31:28Speaker 3: affection with other men. Yeah, not Bachelor Pad. I'd be okay,
- 31:33Speaker 3: Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, but Bachelor Pad, like there
- 31:36Speaker 3: was a kissing contest and I participated in it, and
- 31:40Speaker 3: it's just like stupid. So I like the thought of
- 31:43Speaker 3: the Bachelor or Bachelor in Paradise were some of my
- 31:45Speaker 3: very very like there was a lot of growth and
- 31:48Speaker 3: positive stuff that came from all that. But yeah, I
- 31:53Speaker 3: would let the girls watch it someday, but maybe not.
- 31:55Speaker 3: The affection with other men. How do you handle that stress?
- 31:59Speaker 3: You know, it's it's funny.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I just got asked this question again. I feel like
- 32:04Speaker 2: we used to get asked the question what is the secret?
- 32:08Speaker 3: You know?
- 32:09Speaker 2: That was our number one, and now I feel like
- 32:11Speaker 2: it is what would you know? Yeah, something about the kids?
- 32:15Speaker 2: Would you let them be on the show? And I
- 32:17Speaker 2: always say it would be super hypocritical if I didn't
- 32:21Speaker 2: support them because of how I met their father, But
- 32:25Speaker 2: I feel like it's just for me. It's very different because,
- 32:31Speaker 2: you know, there was so much controversy when they announced
- 32:34Speaker 2: that I was going to be the first bachelorette, and
- 32:36Speaker 2: people thought that I was going to look like a
- 32:38Speaker 2: slut and they were calling me all, you know, all
- 32:40Speaker 2: these names without even knowing who I was. So I
- 32:44Speaker 2: went into it really kind of really thoughtful about who,
- 32:53Speaker 2: you know, what I looked like, to my grandma, to
- 32:56Speaker 2: you know, to to all of these people, to the
- 32:58Speaker 2: people who were clearly to be judging me right. And
- 33:02Speaker 2: so I think that I mean, I've shared this. I
- 33:05Speaker 2: just did Chris Harrison's podcast and we were talking about it,
- 33:09Speaker 2: and like Jamie Blight, on one of the dates which
- 33:12Speaker 2: Bob was on, he asked me for a kiss, and
- 33:14Speaker 2: I was like, well, how about on the cheek?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Can we tell the backstory to this? So I First
- 33:20Speaker 1: of all, I think.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Tristan, they've heard this story before.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I said this to Tristan before. You handled yourself
- 33:27Speaker 1: masterfully on that show, and I think that you were
- 33:29Speaker 1: always like you were such a lady and so just
- 33:33Speaker 1: I don't know, perfect, Yeah, very intentional, and it was like,
- 33:37Speaker 1: you know, she really set the tone I think for
- 33:41Speaker 1: for my season and for seasons after that. Like I
- 33:42Speaker 1: remember saying to the thirty women on the first lame like, look,
- 33:46Speaker 1: you guys, I just came off the best experience, and
- 33:49Speaker 1: I want you all to have this as well, So
- 33:51Speaker 1: don't fight with each other because this is no prize here.
- 33:54Speaker 1: This is a disaster, So you don't want this just
- 33:57Speaker 1: I never had to say that, but I'll never forget.
- 33:59Speaker 1: So they came up to me and Trista you might
- 34:02Speaker 1: remember this. We were at the beach and they came
- 34:05Speaker 1: up to me and they're like, it was Jason Carbone
- 34:07Speaker 1: and he goes he hands me two coronas and he's here,
- 34:09Speaker 1: go buddy. Uh, Trista is waiting for you on the
- 34:12Speaker 1: beach and she's excited to kiss you. And I'm like really,
- 34:16Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, I go on a group date with
- 34:18Speaker 1: eight dudes she just walked up to you and said, man,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I can't wait to kiss Bob. And he's like, yeah,
- 34:23Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, nice, try try somebody else.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Bro.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I'm like, like, I got a sister. If someone tried to
- 34:29Speaker 1: mac on my sister on a group date, I would
- 34:31Speaker 1: kill that guy. And so anyway, I go and grabbed
- 34:35Speaker 1: myself a beer and come back to find Jamie to
- 34:38Speaker 1: tell him this ridiculous story that Carbon just tried to
- 34:40Speaker 1: talk me into. And I look and there's Jamie on
- 34:43Speaker 1: the beach with trist To going in for it. Just
- 34:45Speaker 1: was like, oh, not a chance. And so afterwards we're
- 34:49Speaker 1: in the limo and I'll never forget it, and we're
- 34:51Speaker 1: all toasting, you know, and I'm the one, of course
- 34:54Speaker 1: who's like, you know, everyone's raise a glass to Trista,
- 34:57Speaker 1: and now I'm like trying to protect myself. So I'm like, Trista,
- 35:02Speaker 1: I just want to say, you know, this has to
- 35:04Speaker 1: be really difficult for you to be on a group
- 35:06Speaker 1: day like this with a bunch of people. And I
- 35:08Speaker 1: hope you don't think that if someone doesn't try to
- 35:10Speaker 1: kiss you on the beach, that you know that means
- 35:13Speaker 1: they're not interested in you. Or find you Lovely and wonderful,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and Jamie Blie looked at me one I'm like, just like,
- 35:19Speaker 1: if someone does try to kiss you on the beach,
- 35:21Speaker 1: that doesn't mean that they're you know, the total leach.
- 35:25Speaker 1: You know, we're all but it was like so funny
- 35:28Speaker 1: because Tristy, you just handled it so great. You would
- 35:30Speaker 1: just giggle and make it all nice and we'd be like, Okay,
- 35:33Speaker 1: now we're moving on, you know.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, I feel like that's that's totally different from
- 35:39Speaker 2: like back those days. You know, I was very intentional
- 35:43Speaker 2: about not being physical with people or at least giving
- 35:47Speaker 2: into it when I really truly felt it. And now
- 35:49Speaker 2: it's like everyone kisses their everyone, like everyone.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Is the first night right want So.
- 35:55Speaker 3: It's hard to watch.
- 35:56Speaker 2: So I knowing that it's changed a lot, it's evolved,
- 36:01Speaker 2: the show has evolved a lot. If my friends are
- 36:03Speaker 2: my kids ever wanted to see it, at least I
- 36:06Speaker 2: can preface preface things, and then also like if they
- 36:10Speaker 2: ever wanted to go on the show, I would just
- 36:12Speaker 2: have some conversations.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah, guiding conversations.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I always thought Tenley was going to be a bachelorette.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I remember after watching Jake's season and then especially after
- 36:34Speaker 1: watching the post season interview that the two of them
- 36:40Speaker 1: did remember that yeah, And I remember watching that going,
- 36:46Speaker 1: oh my god, like who would do? Who? I mean,
- 36:50Speaker 1: I was just blown away. But I remember literally from
- 36:53Speaker 1: watching like night one of that show, I remember thinking,
- 36:56Speaker 1: Tenley is going to be the next bachelorette. There's no
- 36:58Speaker 1: ask you.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Yeah, the conversation not like not like a proposal, but
- 37:04Speaker 3: Alan definitely was kind of I felt like he was
- 37:09Speaker 3: kind of pursuing me because he would come to my
- 37:12Speaker 3: house in Huntington Beach and he'd hang out with my
- 37:15Speaker 3: family and stuff. I felt like they were still kind
- 37:18Speaker 3: of keeping close, Like I mean, I wanted to believe
- 37:21Speaker 3: that he was a true friend and he was. But
- 37:24Speaker 3: at the same time, I felt like once it was
- 37:28Speaker 3: offered to Ali that then I things changed. So but
- 37:35Speaker 3: they definitely had dangled some stars in my eyes, Like
- 37:39Speaker 3: I remember coming home from Saint Lucia after being dumped
- 37:44Speaker 3: and not being proposed to, which you know, I know
- 37:48Speaker 3: was just definitely the best way for me to go.
- 37:51Speaker 3: But anyways, they were like, oh, Dancing with the Stars
- 37:55Speaker 3: and maybe the Bachelor Wrette, like all of these things
- 37:58Speaker 3: that were definitely sounded really cool. But you know what,
- 38:01Speaker 3: I for sure would have been a horrible bachelorette. I
- 38:06Speaker 3: don't think that I, my heart could have handled it.
- 38:09Speaker 3: It is Oh, it is hard, and I think I
- 38:12Speaker 3: would have. I mean, how do you, like, I know
- 38:16Speaker 3: that you just have to you have to put it
- 38:19Speaker 3: in the work and stuff because I watched them, But
- 38:21Speaker 3: I think I would have picked out a guy within
- 38:24Speaker 3: the first like my top guy, like I really could
- 38:27Speaker 3: and my heart beat, like I'd let my heart go
- 38:30Speaker 3: all into him. How do you fake it and put
- 38:33Speaker 3: on a show like I don't know that I could
- 38:35Speaker 3: have had for me too.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I get that, But you just, I guess
- 38:40Speaker 2: you just compartmentalize, you know, you you try to keep
- 38:45Speaker 2: it separate for every person.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I know it's tough.
- 38:49Speaker 3: I can't even imagine. So, but yeah, life obviously went
- 38:54Speaker 3: the right way for me. It was kind of until
- 38:57Speaker 3: I finally met the one. But here we are, okay,
- 39:01Speaker 3: that's okay. I love those kind of stories.
- 39:04Speaker 2: It didn't matter when because you have the rest of
- 39:05Speaker 2: your lives together.
- 39:06Speaker 1: So yes, and you know what I think too, it's
- 39:08Speaker 1: like one of those things too. I mean, I can
- 39:10Speaker 1: say this from my my Bachelor, my Bescherett and bachelor
- 39:13Speaker 1: experience of course, but as long as it ends up
- 39:16Speaker 1: in the right place, you know, all of those experiences
- 39:19Speaker 1: are what got you there, right, So, Like, I mean,
- 39:21Speaker 1: I think about that, and I hate to ask this question,
- 39:24Speaker 1: but I you know, it's on a list of questions
- 39:26Speaker 1: to ask, so I hope you don't mind me asking it.
- 39:28Speaker 1: But uh, most recently one of your ex'es showed up
- 39:32Speaker 1: on Instagram with uh, with his new partner, right, So,
- 39:38Speaker 1: Kifton and Angela kind of went public on Instagram? And
- 39:43Speaker 1: do you keep up with any of that stuff? And
- 39:46Speaker 1: you know, is that something that you saw happening or
- 39:47Speaker 1: you thought you could see happening if you knew both
- 39:50Speaker 1: obviously new Kipton, but if you knew Angela as well
- 39:52Speaker 1: from seeing her on TV, did you kind of see
- 39:54Speaker 1: that happening? And you know, what are your thoughts on that? Well?
- 39:58Speaker 3: From Okay, So we live kind of in a small
- 40:01Speaker 3: town and he's the reason why I ended up where
- 40:04Speaker 3: I live and then I ended up meeting my husband
- 40:06Speaker 3: because I lived here, so that that all worked out great.
- 40:10Speaker 3: And I'm very happy for them because I think I
- 40:13Speaker 3: think he's you know, it's been years since we were together.
- 40:16Speaker 3: This is the first like real public relationship he's had
- 40:19Speaker 3: besides the mother of his child, and that was after
- 40:25Speaker 3: close after we had broken up. But yeah, so I
- 40:29Speaker 3: think that this is a big deal. But what I
- 40:31Speaker 3: have seen it coming between the two of them. I
- 40:34Speaker 3: do not know how they met. But what's funny is
- 40:36Speaker 3: our little small town I don't even need to get
- 40:41Speaker 3: into the details, but yeah, I had heard like he
- 40:45Speaker 3: had a girlfriend and who she was because of another
- 40:47Speaker 3: one of my friends who's in the franchise too, Crystal Nielsen.
- 40:52Speaker 3: We're now. She was taking plot's at our girlfriend's plate
- 40:57Speaker 3: studio and there was Kip and she's like, oh, hey,
- 41:00Speaker 3: weren't you Tellley's X, you know, And they started talking
- 41:04Speaker 3: and Angela used to be friends with Crystal and so she,
- 41:09Speaker 3: oh my god, what And then I'm like, wait, the
- 41:11Speaker 3: rest of my circle was yeah, no, KIVI and I
- 41:17Speaker 3: run into each other not very often, but we do,
- 41:19Speaker 3: and and it's always cordial and fine and wonderful. But
- 41:23Speaker 3: I mean, my church is across the street from his house.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Over seen each.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Other, but it's just like there, you know, there there's
- 41:30Speaker 3: lots of ties and stuff, but Yeah. It's so funny
- 41:33Speaker 3: how small the world it is, because I think it
- 41:36Speaker 3: was like three weeks ago that I kind of got
- 41:38Speaker 3: the news that he was in a relationship with somebody
- 41:41Speaker 3: from the show or the franchise, and I was like, oh,
- 41:46Speaker 3: that's how did they meet? You know? So I don't
- 41:48Speaker 3: know the story, but happy for them, especially because if
- 41:51Speaker 3: they've gone public with it, and I think it's been
- 41:53Speaker 3: like over a year that they've been together, so oh wow,
- 41:57Speaker 3: that's what it's heard the public. Wow. Yeah, I mean
- 42:03Speaker 3: I think it's a big deal. So I'm happy for it,
- 42:06Speaker 3: especially if this is the one for him or for her.
- 42:10Speaker 1: So funny, You're so you're so sweet, isn't it nice?
- 42:14Speaker 1: Like I think about a lot of time, like when
- 42:16Speaker 1: someone you know, like for example, with my season, when
- 42:19Speaker 1: Estella finally got married and I was like, oh she,
- 42:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, she's so good, right, I love her studio,
- 42:26Speaker 1: but I was so happy for her because she's so
- 42:30Speaker 1: sweet and wonderful and kind, and it was like people were,
- 42:33Speaker 1: you know, people are like, well are you are you
- 42:35Speaker 1: excited for her? I'm like, what do you think? Of
- 42:37Speaker 1: course I am. I mean I loved her, so I'm
- 42:39Speaker 1: very excited for her and I want her to be
- 42:41Speaker 1: as happy as I am. And you know, when you
- 42:44Speaker 1: see someone who hasn't found that person, when you know
- 42:46Speaker 1: what's inside of them and you know it's like to
- 42:49Speaker 1: then when they finally do, you're just sort of like, Okay,
- 42:52Speaker 1: it's not like it's your responsibility for them to be
- 42:54Speaker 1: happy in their lives. But once they finally are, you
- 42:55Speaker 1: can kind of go, Okay, I can get back to
- 42:58Speaker 1: my life now or something. I don't even know you.
- 43:01Speaker 3: But and then for me also like my life is
- 43:04Speaker 3: established and I finally found the person that I was
- 43:06Speaker 3: actually meant to be with and stuff, and he was
- 43:09Speaker 3: and Kip was definitely a part of my journey and
- 43:11Speaker 3: getting there and growing up and learning things about myself
- 43:14Speaker 3: and just you know, past relationships are a big part
- 43:18Speaker 3: of your life. But at the same time, like you know,
- 43:21Speaker 3: it's not something I think about on a daily basis,
- 43:23Speaker 3: but when it came up the great news And also
- 43:26Speaker 3: just really funny how like actually tied into my there's
- 43:30Speaker 3: details of it all that are just so funny of
- 43:33Speaker 3: how small my world is that is funny. But yeah, Stella,
- 43:37Speaker 3: I love her, She's I love.
- 43:39Speaker 1: That you go with it that you're doing her class
- 43:41Speaker 1: Like I love.
- 43:42Speaker 3: That when I'm not pregnant. Yeah, but she is so
- 43:45Speaker 3: sweet and then she actually, long time ago, when I
- 43:49Speaker 3: was dating Kip, she briefly went on a few dates
- 43:52Speaker 3: with one of Kip's friends, so we all know, way
- 43:55Speaker 3: back when.
- 43:56Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Yeah, the.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I would like.
- 44:01Speaker 2: To see a tree of all of us, like how
- 44:04Speaker 2: you know how they connect everyone, because there are a
- 44:09Speaker 2: lot of connections that I think that.
- 44:11Speaker 3: We don't even know about. I bet there's tons of connections.
- 44:15Speaker 3: I mean, I had a few other little things, but together,
- 44:22Speaker 3: we don't need to go there. But yeah, it's it's
- 44:25Speaker 3: so funny, but there should be some sort of like yeah,
- 44:28Speaker 3: family tree, just out of just for comedic or out
- 44:33Speaker 3: of curiosity, some sort of like intertwining or like Oprah
- 44:38Speaker 3: special of.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Yes, what is it that has like a billion branches?
- 44:46Speaker 1: Because that would be my tree and I don't even
- 44:48Speaker 1: want to look at that, no desire. I just need
- 44:53Speaker 1: to see that.
- 44:54Speaker 3: It would take forever.
- 44:55Speaker 7: It would take, Yeah, it would take forever. Bob, you're
- 44:58Speaker 7: that old. That's I know you weren't saying it that way.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I just like to I just like to harass him
- 45:11Speaker 2: because he's just that much older than me.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I I'm an ancient, I'm a fossil, like we always
- 45:16Speaker 1: say that. You know, Trista's like the fairy godmother of
- 45:20Speaker 1: the franchise, and I'm the grandfather, like the great great
- 45:24Speaker 1: grandfather of the franchise. You're the bob father, the bob father.
- 45:28Speaker 1: There we go, Oh my gosh.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Okay, Well, we have loved seeing you.
- 45:38Speaker 2: I love seeing you like I wish he was just
- 45:40Speaker 2: in person.
- 45:41Speaker 5: Please give ral.
- 45:42Speaker 2: A humongous hug, and thank Taylor for letting us borrow
- 45:47Speaker 2: you for a minute.
- 45:48Speaker 3: And good luck with delivery.
- 45:50Speaker 5: I can't wait to see beautiful baby girl. Thank you.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Yeah, prayers, and if you don't mind, just put in
- 45:56Speaker 3: an extra like request with God that this baby will come,
- 46:00Speaker 3: you know, maybe two weeks early. That would be lovely.
- 46:03Speaker 1: There you go. When is the When is the You
- 46:07Speaker 1: said May? When is it? Okay? So two weeks early
- 46:11Speaker 1: would be May eighth, which is a magical day. That's
- 46:12Speaker 1: my birthday. There we go, babies, all right.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Not too early because my mom doesn't get here until
- 46:19Speaker 3: the tenth and I need my mom to be here
- 46:20Speaker 3: for us.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Eleven.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I love you, Thank you.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Thank you so much, so.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Happy to have seen both of you, and hope everything's
- 46:35Speaker 3: well for both of you two.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Thank you very much, Bye guys, Bye Trista.
- 46:41Speaker 2: She is so lovely Jesus as she's one of my
- 46:44Speaker 2: all time daves, like one of my probably closest friends
- 46:48Speaker 2: from the franchise that you know that's not a lead
- 46:51Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 46:52Speaker 1: But yeah, you two have a lot. I've always thought
- 46:55Speaker 1: when I the couple times that I got to spend
- 46:58Speaker 1: time with her, she reminds me of you a lot
- 47:00Speaker 1: of ways, like you guys have similar similar characters.
- 47:03Speaker 2: A huge compliment.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I need it as one, I sincerely do, I think
- 47:07Speaker 1: for both of you. I mean, I think it's a
- 47:08Speaker 1: nice compliment. You guys are both like very you pay
- 47:11Speaker 1: attention to the people you're talking to, and you know,
- 47:14Speaker 1: it's just it's nice. You like engage and you listen
- 47:17Speaker 1: and you laugh and you you know, share parallels and
- 47:19Speaker 1: stuff like that. And she's just I mean, only she
- 47:23Speaker 1: would Obviously I was feeling so awkward to ask her
- 47:26Speaker 1: the Kipton question, and only she can make me feel
- 47:28Speaker 1: good about it, you know, I was like, oh, thank God,
- 47:30Speaker 1: she's so sweet about it.
- 47:32Speaker 2: You know, he is sweetest. I mean, she truly won
- 47:36Speaker 2: the Disney Princess, so like, yeah, she's sugar, sugar from
- 47:42Speaker 2: the cane, like sugar from the cane.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Amen. Well, we've got a lot of great stuff coming up.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Obviously having ten Leon is just the tip of the iceberg,
- 47:52Speaker 1: but a beautiful tip of the iceberg, of course. And
- 47:55Speaker 1: I'm so excited because we've got We've got so much
- 47:57Speaker 1: lined up over the coming weeks. So you know, thank
- 48:01Speaker 1: you guys so much for listening in and for requesting
- 48:04Speaker 1: more of the ogs. We'd love it.
- 48:07Speaker 2: And I actually, with that note, I would love to
- 48:11Speaker 2: hear from people. If there's anyone that you just wonder
- 48:14Speaker 2: what's going on in their lives from early seasons, someone
- 48:18Speaker 2: that you really liked, I'd love to hear from you.
- 48:21Speaker 2: I'm sure Bob would too. So if you want to
- 48:24Speaker 2: reach out to the almost famous Instagram page and just
- 48:27Speaker 2: DM them and give them some requests, we would love that.
- 48:33Speaker 1: We would. And you know, it's funny after hearing Tenley talk,
- 48:36Speaker 1: I mean, someone I haven't even thought to reach out
- 48:38Speaker 1: to is Jake Vivalca.
- 48:40Speaker 2: So okay, I have a story, Yes, and when you
- 48:44Speaker 2: first mentioned it or when his name was brought up.
- 48:47Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh, you just reminded me.
- 48:49Speaker 2: He reached out to me on Instagram like last week,
- 48:53Speaker 2: and I forgot that. I like like text messages and dms.
- 48:58Speaker 2: I swear if I don't write back right that second,
- 49:02Speaker 2: then I forget or it gets buried or whatever. So
- 49:05Speaker 2: I am going to write him right now. He wrote
- 49:08Speaker 2: me and just said, hey, how is everything. I just
- 49:11Speaker 2: wanted to check in and say hi.
- 49:13Speaker 1: I was like that, we've got to have him on,
- 49:15Speaker 1: and you know, I want to give a special shout
- 49:17Speaker 1: out to one of our one of our listeners, Angela.
- 49:21Speaker 1: You know Angela. After every one of our podcasts, will
- 49:25Speaker 1: you know, she'll reach out and she'll write something and
- 49:27Speaker 1: she'll be like, you know, I was listening to the show,
- 49:29Speaker 1: and you know, it's just always like she's really just
- 49:32Speaker 1: very sweet, and you know she listened to our last
- 49:35Speaker 1: podcast with Avan. Yeah, she she reached out listened to
- 49:38Speaker 1: our last podcast with Avan and reached out about that
- 49:40Speaker 1: and just was like talking about how sweet he seems
- 49:43Speaker 1: to be, and she loves how compassionate you are, and
- 49:47Speaker 1: just you know, how funny we are together. And I
- 49:49Speaker 1: just I love her recaps because it makes me feel like,
- 49:54Speaker 1: I don't know, it makes me feel like somebody's listening
- 49:56Speaker 1: and someone actually cares and you know, it's paying attention.
- 49:58Speaker 1: It's not just my mom. So that's yes, Like my
- 50:06Speaker 1: mom's like, oh, you guys have the best podcast. Like mom,
- 50:09Speaker 1: you don't even know how to listen to a podcast.
- 50:10Speaker 1: I send it to you, I know, but I really
- 50:14Speaker 1: love it. I just really love it.
- 50:15Speaker 7: Oh Okay, we love you, moms, We love you.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Shout out to her moms and to angle.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Up and and then yeah to everyone out there. If
- 50:25Speaker 2: you have any request, just reach out on the Instagram
- 50:28Speaker 2: page or DMUs directly of course, but always fun chatting
- 50:32Speaker 2: and uh we'll talk to you next time.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Bye, everybody,
