- 0:25Speaker 2: Sucks John Jay and Rich Our phone numbers eight seven
- 0:28Speaker 2: seven nine three, seven one oh four seven. You can
- 0:30Speaker 2: call us any time. You can also text us text
- 0:32Speaker 2: JJR whatever you want to say to number nine six
- 0:34Speaker 2: eight ninety three. Again, that number is nine six eight
- 0:37Speaker 2: nine three. That's the text line. You gotta put JJR
- 0:40Speaker 2: in front of it when you call the show. Dylan
- 0:43Speaker 2: picks up the phone and she is in the studio
- 0:45Speaker 2: right now. Because there's a couple of things. Dylan is
- 0:47Speaker 2: experiencing something I think very similar, and Kyle's experiencing something
- 0:53Speaker 2: because you both said something to me individually, but the
- 0:55Speaker 2: same thing. I don't know how influencers do it, but
- 0:59Speaker 2: they were both two separate subjects, but you both said
- 1:03Speaker 2: the exact same thing, Kyle.
- 1:05Speaker 4: You first, I said, I don't know how influencers do
- 1:08Speaker 4: it with such crisp, clear lighting all the time?
- 1:11Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I was literally making a video with Addie.
- 1:15Speaker 4: We're making a fun force of July beverage in the
- 1:17Speaker 4: middle of the day and it looks like.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It's the nighttime. I was like, where is Jason Derulo's
- 1:23Speaker 1: social media guy?
- 1:24Speaker 4: And they need him who literally carries around a light
- 1:26Speaker 4: stick anytime a.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Picture or video is taken. That's what That's the guy
- 1:30Speaker 1: I need. That's the guy I need. But every single
- 1:33Speaker 1: one of them have. That's that light guy. I guess
- 1:36Speaker 1: I need that. I guess I need it because you're
- 1:38Speaker 1: so are you gonna redo it?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Are you just gonna post it the way? I'm just
- 1:40Speaker 2: gonna post it the way it is.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I'm not an influencer, okay, but I wonder how they
- 1:44Speaker 4: do it.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Well. You know, I consider myself a content creator and
- 1:48Speaker 2: that's tough. It's tough, so you really got to work
- 1:50Speaker 2: hard at it. You got to make sure that you
- 1:51Speaker 2: got to post a pone whatever you're going to do
- 1:53Speaker 2: into the lightings rider, you get yourself a ring light,
- 1:55Speaker 2: that's what you got. I used it ring light and
- 1:57Speaker 2: it was still dark. Yes.
- 1:59Speaker 3: The front camera, the back camera, yes, which I tried,
- 2:03Speaker 3: both tried. I know that a lot of them use
- 2:06Speaker 3: their back camera like when they're filming themselves.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Well, the front camera you can actually adjust the lighting,
- 2:11Speaker 4: so I did try to do it that way, because
- 2:12Speaker 4: you can tap on the darkest part of the video
- 2:14Speaker 4: and it will brighten it just a little bit.
- 2:16Speaker 1: But then you have to have.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Someone holding the camera to press that button. But yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 4: it's fine, it's a great video.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I guess Dylan's problem again is I don't know how
- 2:28Speaker 2: influencers do it. But it was different than her problem.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Because I'm like decent with lighting and all that type
- 2:33Speaker 3: of stuff. But I'm like, if you've watched the vlogs
- 2:36Speaker 3: on the Instagram, I like to edit kind of a lot,
- 2:40Speaker 3: and so I like to add you know, sounds and
- 2:43Speaker 3: transitions and everything like that, because that's just like the
- 2:45Speaker 3: style I like to put on it.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Like a like a I'll put a creativity.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yes, And how it's been happening is I usually I
- 2:52Speaker 3: will either edit it the exact same day right after
- 2:55Speaker 3: the show and post it or like a week later.
- 2:57Speaker 3: And I just procrastinated because like I can work on
- 3:01Speaker 3: it for a long time and still have so much
- 3:02Speaker 3: to do.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So I just don't know how they're editing their videos.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Like even when I'll just do something simple like a
- 3:09Speaker 3: little I don't know, skincare video or something, it takes
- 3:12Speaker 3: so long to edit.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I'm like, how were you guys flipping it so quickly?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Well? They probably just like how jokes about Jason Rulo.
- 3:18Speaker 2: He's got a guy, yeah, calls him around. If you're
- 3:20Speaker 2: talking about influencers, they probably have like real influencers.
- 3:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 4: It's like when Brian Trahan did fifty states in fifty days.
- 3:26Speaker 4: They would turn around those videos of him in a
- 3:28Speaker 4: state each single day, and they had two guys editing them.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yeah, And like my sister works with mister Beasts, and
- 3:33Speaker 2: she said it's unbelievable. So you can't compare yourself to that,
- 3:37Speaker 2: you know. But like I had an influencer come to
- 3:39Speaker 2: my house one time and he was doing stuff in
- 3:41Speaker 2: the backyard and I was so I posted stuff of
- 3:44Speaker 2: him and me right away. He didn't post his stuff
- 3:46Speaker 2: like two weeks later. So that's the thing. It's like,
- 3:48Speaker 2: you got like if I don't do it that day
- 3:50Speaker 2: or right after it's it's very harsh me to go
- 3:53Speaker 2: back to do it. I don't know how.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Stuff you have to do it in real time. And
- 3:57Speaker 5: my question with the influencers stuff, because I feel like
- 4:00Speaker 5: there's been a ton of influence then Tuesday they sit
- 4:02Speaker 5: down and they make That's how they make it their
- 4:03Speaker 5: full time job. They have to do that all day
- 4:05Speaker 5: every day. But for me and the influencers, I'm like,
- 4:07Speaker 5: I want to know about like the Alex Earls and
- 4:10Speaker 5: the Avery Woods, Like how do you take influencer into.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Like an empire?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Because that's what I want to know. I want to
- 4:19Speaker 1: be an influencer. I want to be famous.
- 4:21Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Everyone will know your name is.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Alex Earl is like a case study because kills it.
- 4:34Speaker 3: She's like a fully I would say, like ce b
- 4:36Speaker 3: list celebrity probably be yeah, and like she's like invested.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I know that right when she got famous, she started
- 4:44Speaker 3: investing in like Poppy and all those businesses, and so
- 4:48Speaker 3: I feel like she grew her wealth that way.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I feel like they got like a Chris Jenner momger type.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just damn. It's very rare. I think it
- 4:56Speaker 2: starts off with just you. You have something to hit
- 4:58Speaker 2: and then you go and that's and that's get picked up.
- 5:01Speaker 3: To me.
- 5:01Speaker 2: What I like now are the things that are just
- 5:04Speaker 2: well not I mean the way I do it. I
- 5:05Speaker 2: just go. I don't want to. I don't care if
- 5:07Speaker 2: there's a mistake, and if it's my own Instagram, you know,
- 5:09Speaker 2: so you've got to figure But they change these algorithms
- 5:11Speaker 2: all the time. It just it's just whateverage. So if
- 5:14Speaker 2: you follow me, I just post, I don't care. I
- 5:16Speaker 2: don't really try to edit that much.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, there is something about like being authentic and not
- 5:21Speaker 3: having to cut out every single little pause and everything
- 5:24Speaker 3: like that.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So I'm definitely working on that.
- 5:26Speaker 3: But I like to really have fun with the vlogs
- 5:28Speaker 3: and stuff, and so I do. I need to get
- 5:31Speaker 3: better at just doing it the same day and just
- 5:33Speaker 3: getting it done.
