- 0:02Hello, everyone. It's Gary here from Eye Opener Society.
- 0:06Thank you for tuning in. Thank you for tuning into another Shorter Attention Spam podcast.
- 0:10I'm going to pepper these all over the place as usual, but are you the best version of yourself?
- 0:18Think about that. Are you really the best version of yourself right now as I speak?
- 0:26There doesn't have to be a definitive answer, But I want you to take that into consideration.
- 0:33Think about your true self.
- 0:37Are you doing everything in your life that is completing you?
- 0:42Most of us are, but a lot of times we are not being so true to ourselves because
- 0:48we are falling into these traps of social media, influencers,
- 0:54and whatever the case may be.
- 0:55We get turned on to other things that might not be exactly good for us.
- 1:01And we nurture the wrong things at times.
- 1:04So ask yourself, are you truly connected to who you really want to be?
- 1:13What about the future version of yourself?
- 1:16Future version comes up every single second, right?
- 1:20Because we just constantly go into the future. What do you want better for yourself?
- 1:26Do you want to dream really big? And that's fine.
- 1:30It's an amazing place inside of our minds and how vast it is and just how much you can truly envision.
- 1:40So do you want to see yourself as someone so much better than you are right
- 1:47now with all of the, you know, riches?
- 1:51Or do you just want to see yourself better at certain things,
- 1:55certain tasks, certain things that you do?
- 1:57Do you want to see yourself better at work? Do you want to see yourself better as a spouse?
- 2:02These are questions you can just ask, reflect, and make the changes right now.
- 2:09As soon as you think about it, start making changes right now.
- 2:12Start by jotting things down and move forward with that in mind.
- 2:18We never really nourish ourselves in that way because we allow television,
- 2:24radio, hey, maybe even podcast, right?
- 2:28Social media, especially the internet, we allow that to guide us.
- 2:31We allow that to dictate everything because it's throwing images in front of us that they say we need.
- 2:40It's a subliminal, you know, advertising that goes on. and even the in-your-face
- 2:44advertising, it's really drawing the path and it's telling us what they think that we should be.
- 2:53So we don't find enough time ever, really, where we just sit back and we relax
- 2:57and we say, hey, listen, you know what?
- 3:00I want to do this. I want to cut this out of my life. I want to stop smoking. I want to stop drinking.
- 3:07I want to start doing art. I want going to start painting.
- 3:12Once that goes into your mind, you set
- 3:15that ball in motion. Now it's your responsibility to follow up on that.
- 3:20You shouldn't have to come back months later and say, oh, wow,
- 3:24I really wanted to start painting, but I never even picked up a paintbrush since I thought about it.
- 3:29No, immediately start. Go out there and start researching what you need.
- 3:35Start buying supplies it's unique. So then once you have that,
- 3:39you are now committing yourself to that particular project and it's going to help you move on.
- 3:47You may wind up not enjoying it at all. It happens.
- 3:51There's no problem. But to say that you actually did it, you made that change in your life.
- 3:59Then bless you for doing that. Thank you for doing that.
- 4:03Now your body, your mind, your soul is thanking you for doing that.
- 4:08You tried, you either like it or you don't, but you did it.
- 4:12You've done something on your own. You motivated yourself.
- 4:17You came up with an idea. You came up with a thought and you followed through on it.
- 4:22That's how we get to be true to ourselves. The things we want,
- 4:27the things we want to try, that's what makes us true to ourselves,
- 4:32not the TV, not the internet, but us.
- 4:36My name is Gary Dean. This is Eye Opener Society. You are the best audience.
