  a question worth sitting with for a moment.

  How often do you perform for an audience that isn't there?
• 0:19
  You craft a post just right. You choose your words carefully
• 0:23
  in a group so you come across a certain way.
• 0:26
  You tell yourself you're doing OK because from the outside
• 0:29
  things look fine. We spend so much energy managing
• 0:33
  how we appear to others and sometimes even to ourselves,
• 0:37
  that we forget someone sees past all of it completely.
• 0:41
  Proverbs chapter 16 verse 2 says all the ways of a man are pure
• 0:45
  in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit.
• 0:49
  That's a sobering verse because it's describing something we all
• 0:53
  do. Convince ourselves we're fine,
• 0:56
  Justify our choices, see ourselves through the most
• 0:59
  flattering possible lens. And the verse doesn't say that
• 1:02
  to shame us. It says it to wake us up.
• 1:06
  Because God doesn't see the polished version we present.
• 1:09
  He sees the actual condition of our hearts, and that matters
• 1:13
  infinitely more. But here's the grace in that
• 1:16
  truth. God seeing your heart fully
• 1:18
  isn't a reason to panic. It's actually a reason to run to
• 1:21
  Him because He already knows everything and still invites you
• 1:25
  close. Psalm 54, verse one is that kind
• 1:28
  of prayer. Raw, unfiltered, desperate.
• 1:31
  Save me, oh God by your name, and vindicate me by your might.
• 1:35
  There's no pretending here, no dressing it up.
• 1:39
  Just a person who knows they need God and isn't too proud to
• 1:42
  say so. That kind of honesty before God
• 1:45
  is actually a sign of strength, not weakness.
• 1:48
  It's choosing reality over performance, and it's exactly
• 1:52
  the kind of prayer God responds to.
• 1:55
  Then Second Corinthians chapter 3, verse 6 add something
• 1:58
  powerful. But our sufficiency is from God,
• 2:01
  who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant.
• 2:06
  Your adequacy doesn't come from how well you manage your image.
• 2:10
  It doesn't come from keeping up appearances, getting the right
• 2:13
  grades, saying the right things, or being liked by the right
• 2:17
  people. It comes from God.
• 2:19
  He has made you competent. He has equipped you for what
• 2:22
  He's called you to, not because you've got it all together, but
• 2:26
  because He does. This matters so much, especially
• 2:30
  for young people navigating a world that is constantly
• 2:33
  evaluating and ranking everything.
• 2:35
  The pressure to measure up is relentless.
• 2:38
  And when you tie your sense of worth to how others perceive
• 2:41
  you, you'll be on a roller coaster that never stops because
• 2:45
  people's opinions shift constantly.
• 2:47
  But God's view of you doesn't fluctuate.
• 2:50
  He sees you truly, loves you completely, and equips you
• 2:54
  specifically for the life He's designed for you.
• 2:57
  So what would it look like to care more about what God sees in
• 3:00
  your heart than what others see on the surface?
• 3:04
  What would change if you brought your real self to God every day?
• 3:07
  The struggling parts, the uncertain parts, the parts you
• 3:10
  usually hide, and trusted Him to work with all of it.
• 3:15
  That's not an invitation to give up on doing well or being your
• 3:18
  best. It's an invitation to be honest,
• 3:21
  to stop performing and start living from a place of genuine
• 3:24
  relationship with God, where His strength fills in every gap your
• 3:28
  own ability can't cover. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you for seeing me fully and loving me
• 3:35
  completely. Help me to stop hiding behind
• 3:38
  appearances and start coming to You with honesty about what's
• 3:41
  really going on in my heart, where I've been relying on my
• 3:45
  own perspective or chasing approval from others.
• 3:48
  Redirect me to You. I want to live from a place of
• 3:51
  genuine trust in your strength, not a performance of my own.
• 3:56
  Make me the person you've called me to be from the inside out, in
• 3:59
  Jesus name, Amen. What if the battles hitting your

  family are not random and your home can become a place where

  darkness loses every right to stay?
