- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Psalm seventy-three.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: But as for me my feet were almost gone, my steps had nearly slipped.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: For there are no struggles in their death, but their strength is firm.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: They are free from burdens of men, neither are they plagued like other men.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: They say, How does God know?
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Is there knowledge in the most high?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Behold, these are the wicked.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Being always at ease, they increase in riches.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain and washed my hands in innocence.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: When I tried to understand this it was too painful for me until I entered God's sanctuary.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Surely you set them in slippery places, you throw them down to destruction, how they are suddenly destroyed, they are completely swept away with terrors.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I am continually with you.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: You have held my right hand, you will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Whom do I have in heaven?
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: For behold, those who are far from you shall perish.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: But it is good for me to come close to God.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: I have made the Lord God my refuge that I may tell of all your works.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: My cry goes to God.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Indeed I cry to God for help and for him to listen to me.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord, my soul refused to be comforted.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: I remember God and I groan.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: I complain and my spirit is overwhelmed.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Will the Lord reject us forever?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Will He be favorable no more?
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Has His loving kindness vanished forever?
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Does His promise fail for generations?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Has God forgotten to be gracious?
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Has He in anger withheld His compassion?
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Then I thought, I will appeal to this, I will remember the Lord's deeds, for I will remember your wonders of old.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: I will also meditate on all your work and consider your doings.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: You are the God who does wonders.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: You have made your strength known among the peoples.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Your way was through the sea, your paths through the great waters.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Your footsteps were not known.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: I will give you thanks with my whole heart.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Before the gods I will sing praises to you.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name for your loving kindness and for your truth.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: For you have exalted your name and your word above all.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: In the day that I called you answered me, you encouraged me with strength in my soul.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, Lord, for they have heard the words of your mouth.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Yes, they will sing of the ways of the Lord, for the Lord's glory is great.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: For though the Lord is high, yet he looks after the lowly, but he knows the proud from afar.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you will revive me.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Your right hand will save me.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: The Lord will fulfill that which concerns me.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Your loving kindness, Lord, endures forever.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Do not forsake the works of your own hands.
