- 0:00Now Amanda stills the seat. Let's see. Well, I have yet to
- 0:07watch quite on the set The Dark Side of Kids TV. It was on
- 0:10ID and it was also on Max. They've done a couple of marathons and
- 0:13I put my DVR on it because I don't have Max anymore. Pike I
- 0:17did. I did finally get rid of one streaming service. But they are
- 0:22going to be doing a new series. It's called Fallen Idols, and this
- 0:25is going to be featuring Nick and Aaron Carter. Of course, Aaron Carter
- 0:28passed away a while ago, a year or two ago, but yuh and
- 0:33Nick Carter, so this is it won't be if they won't be on there,
- 0:36I imagine. No, really just talking about the controversies and accusations around
- 0:41both of them. Of course, we know Aaron Carter had a really rough
- 0:44go with drugs alcohol which ended up leading to his death. But Nick Carter,
- 0:49it pops up here and there, but it never really sticks around.
- 0:52And I don't know if they actually went to court or not, but there
- 0:55were accusations of sexual assault against Nick Carter by three women. One in particular
- 1:00was the girl I believe you said her name was Melissa. I remember that
- 1:03dream, the girl group dream, because they were on tour with Backstory Boys
- 1:07for a while and I think that's how they met. Yeah, they ended
- 1:10up being for him, but there was a very specific accusation from her there
- 1:14in a bathroom, and he's basically forcing her to do things it's not it's
- 1:19not a good thing. But and he's denied this for so many years.
- 1:22And I think one of the biggest things with him and his brother why they
- 1:25were on the outs, even though he was on drugs and kind of away
- 1:29from everybody, he kept saying that these accusations were one hundred percent true and
- 1:34there was a lot of stuff going on back in there. So this is
- 1:38going to be on the ID Channel on Monday May twenty seventh and Tuesday May
- 1:42twenty eighth. But it'll be interesting to see if this just goes away again
- 1:45or not. I think this will be definitely, but so many years have
- 1:49passed. You know, you're never going to be able to like physically prove
- 1:53it, So it's just going to be he said, she said, But
- 1:56we'll see. We'll see at the very least if the Backstree Boys decide that
- 1:59he can't be in the group. Anymore. Yeah, and one of the
- 2:00backstory boys without Nick Carter be a tough go for him for sure. Maybe
- 2:05Howie gets a promotion. Oh Howie the Houister. It's just my favorite music
- 2:12video with I Want it that way when they're in there in the white and
- 2:14it's just like it's so cheesy and it's like, really, Nick brought it
- 2:16home. Nick. And then Brian, you gotta get Brad's just like the
- 2:21JC of that. Yeah, definitely, but he probably has the best voice
- 2:24of for being honest. But then yeah, how he's like playing the guitar
- 2:28like you probably don't even know who played that. And then there was keV.
- 2:30Oh keV, just poor Keav. He looked he looked fifty back.
- 2:36And then like you just always felt for the guy. He was always just
- 2:38the older guy. He didn't help that. Nick Carter was like fourteen,
- 2:42Yeah, and he looked like he couldn't dance. Oh gosh, all right.
- 2:46Ryan Seacrest and Aubrey Page they have called it quits. They were dating
- 2:47for three years. They say after a beautiful three years together, they mutually
- 2:52decided to part ways. They do plan to say in each other's lives as
- 2:54good friends and support each other's endeavors. And speaking of endeavors, man,
- 2:59does Ryan see Gris have a lot on his plate? I don't know if
- 3:00that has anything to do with the fact that you know, he really hasn't.
- 3:04This is probably the longest relationship I want to say he's had. He's
- 3:07forty nine, Page was twenty six. He's now taken on the wheel of
- 3:10fortune for another side hustle that last in three years is a long time to
- 3:15be with someone. But but a boring breakup, that's just a lie.
- 3:17It's like, you're the most perfect breakup you've ever heard of. Stop it,
- 3:21give us the Jews. Yeah, what really went down? Nie and
- 3:27Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey on a little mini vacation with Gigi Hadid and Bradley
- 3:30Cooper. No big deal. And the only reason we know about this is
- 3:34because Donna kelce she's in Vegas for a QVC event. That did I miss
- 3:38that this year? That's sinking? How cute is this? And I guess
- 3:44her phone went off and she was with a group of ladies and she looked
- 3:46over. She's like, oh, yeah, here's here's Tayan Trav. They're
- 3:51just in California, somewhere with Gigi and Bradley just so on the DL.
- 3:57She just doesn't care. She's, you know, just being a mom,
- 4:00like that's where my one son is. What a dream for Travis Kelsey too,
- 4:03because you know that dude is like such a fan of the Hangover in
- 4:06Bradley Cooper Movies. Did you look up the lyrics to that so high school
- 4:10where Taylor talks about how she's watching American Pie with him. You gotta read
- 4:15this because this will make you appreciate Travis even more. I know we kind
- 4:18of think he's a big old goof. All right now, you can do
- 4:21that impression better. He says, his thing is all right now, all
- 4:26right now. But Taylor is a little nervous inside. Sources are saying she
- 4:30just wants a happy ending with Travis. She knows that everything's going good right
- 4:33now, but she's really nervous that just him maybe not taken in the fame
- 4:40is gonna it's just gonna get exhausting and the constant in the constantness of it,
- 4:44because yes, it's still kind of new and fresh, but at some
- 4:46point, if it continues on this level of fame, will he just go
- 4:51This is just too much. I don't breaking up. I did read about
- 4:56this, Okay, So Taylor Swift in one of her songs says I'm watching
- 4:59American Pie with you on a Saturday night, and I guess Alison Hannigan reacted
- 5:02to it, who, of course was Michelle in the American Pie. Yes,
- 5:06with one of the great series of all time. But oh, I
- 5:10agree, it's cute. Yeah. She had a lot of cool references in
- 5:12these songs. It just thirty one. You got to fill them up with
- 5:15something figure that would make you happy, knowing I'm happy Brin trap just watching
- 5:18American Pie while she's probably actually making a homemade pie. Is just a good
- 5:24cook. What are they gonna do it? Trav's like, okay, eat
- 5:30all right now, like an in the morning, Big Nutty eight point seven.
- 5:33You won't suspect to thing when you hear that telephone room by expresd fucking
- 5:41number, this lesson by ex Fred Sunny want arrested by Flue. So this
- 5:48one, I think you'll be impressed. I really had to do some undercover
- 5:51work because this guy's wife reached out to us, and apparently he's one of
- 5:55these guys that sells a lot of stuff constantly on Facebook Marketplace, meeting up
- 5:59with people selling every little item to make a buck. Nice, but you
- 6:01said has gone too far recently, when he finally listed I'm not kidding used
- 6:06underwear. Get out of it. He's asking five dollars for used underwear.
- 6:11Yeah, that's disgusting. He thought it would be funny to prankin, and
- 6:13I agreed. So what I've done here, Amanda, I had to create
- 6:15a fake Facebook account. I'm not going to tell you the name I use,
- 6:18but you'll find out. So I asked if he could get on the
- 6:21phone with me because I know, of course, actually have some questions about
- 6:25underwear. Oh my gosh, I'm here for all of this, so he's
- 6:28expecting the call. Here we go. Hello, Hi, Is this Ryan
- 6:34the guy selling the used Chundies Chundies? Oh, sorry, underwear. I
- 6:43call him Chundies, same thing. Yeah, this is him. Is this
- 6:47the big bopper from Facebook Marketplace? It is? You got him? Hey,
- 6:53Thanks for agreeing to jump on the phone with me. I know that's
- 6:56not protocol for these Facebook Marketplace things, but you obviously can under stand.
- 7:00I've got some reservations about purchasing used underwear. I just sort of sight unsniffed
- 7:05you know what I mean? Uh? No, I don't really know what
- 7:09that means. I'm sorry. Now, Well, I was hoping that before
- 7:13I decided to purchase the underwear that you would at least let me get a
- 7:15whiff of them. Uh listen, man, I'm asking five dollars for a
- 7:21dozen pair of gently used underwear. I don't think we really need to do
- 7:25any sort of sniff tests before the sale. If I'm being honest, you
- 7:29refusing the sniff test seems a little suspicious to me. Yeah, I don't
- 7:33know to tell you. Then, man, the underwear is and I'll just
- 7:35find like almost like new. Okay, Well, then you wouldn't have a
- 7:39problem with me taking them for a test drive, then, row would you?
- 7:42Absolutely not? You're not test driving my underwear. Again, it's five
- 7:46freaking dollars, man, Like, so if you need to go through all
- 7:50these hoops before you buy them, let's probably just move on. I don't
- 7:55think these are right view. Yeah, okay, this is a scam obviously.
- 8:00No. I just don't want you test driving my underwear, dude,
- 8:03Like, why would that be necessary anyway? Well, I'm a little misshaped
- 8:07down there, Okay, so not all underwear fits, right, I'm sure
- 8:11you can understand. Okay, so listen, I'm going to hang up now
- 8:15we're done. Oh whoa, whoa whoa Ryan, Ryan, Ryan, Ry,
- 8:18do not hang up? Okay, but well, are you gonna buy
- 8:20my underwear or not? I'm thinking about it, but I do first he
- 8:26do tell you something very private, Ryan, I'm actually not the bit.
- 8:30What did I say? My name was the Big Bopper? No, this
- 8:31is actually a pike from Piking amand in the morning on Big ninety eight point
- 8:35seven. And it's a prank call. We're just kidding. But also are
- 8:39you pranking us? Right? Oh? Who is selling underwear online like this?
- 8:43Okay, it's nice designer underwear. I figured somebody could probably use it.
- 8:48This is Ryan. Yeah, we got some questions for you. Your
- 8:50wife reached out to us and said that you were sort of like a serial
- 8:54Facebook marketplace salesman, and that you're selling just basically everything, including your underwear.
- 9:00What made you want to do that? You can't getting rid of stuff
- 9:03like I'm trying to clear his face. It's not I don't see what the
- 9:07big time It was so funny when she reached out she thinks that she thinks
- 9:13it's funny. You gotta admit selling used underwear. Now, how how used
- 9:16are we talking? I mean it's not like holes in them or anything.
- 9:20It's they're fine. There's nothing wrong with them. So like I got too
- 9:22many underwear for Christmas last year. Okay, so I'm just trying to unloads
- 9:28up. Well in that case, Ryan, maybe just hang on the line
- 9:30for one second. Yeah, stop it ta get a minute in the morning
- 9:35seven trending. Now here's what you need to know. Well, this is
- 9:41a big old bummers Zan Brosen Downtown Fargo is going to be closing in June.
- 9:46The owners made the announcement yesterday, saying it comes with genuine joy and
- 9:50sadness after thirty three years in business, a really good rhyme, sad to
- 9:54see him go. But it's a little businesses like that that make the town
- 9:58cool and unique. You know, Oh totally, it's a staple. I
- 10:01mean we were just in there about a month ago, and just the antique
- 10:05things, the really cool trinkets, a lot of the Fargo books and things
- 10:09that they have, and how they're supporting locally through other places. It's just
- 10:13pretty awesome. Yeah, for every chain restaurant or big box store. You
- 10:18got to have a Zan Bros. To offset it totally. And they were
- 10:20doing it for thirty years, Thank you bro Oh. And then there's this
- 10:24company, I don't know they call it company. I mean it's it was
- 10:28a business. There's a warrant out for a twenty nine year old Robert Lee
- 10:31Boretta of Fargo for allegedly operating an illegal dispensary in the area of audio garage
- 10:35and kind of Dakota boys and girls ranch over in that hood. And this
- 10:39investigation has been going on for nearly ten months. Document state the thirty one
- 10:43year old Dylan Beckman and twenty four year old Evan Alanagan they were inside the
- 10:48shop when the search revealed more than nine pounds of marijuana, some THHC syrup
- 10:52wax as all the gummies. The thing is it done? You can imagine
- 10:56that we're in there. And they told officers they were being paid eleven dollars
- 11:01an hour to sell marijuana out of the shop from noon to midnight. People
- 11:05just text them and come and buy their weed. He said that the cash
- 11:07was picked up daily or sent to a Venmo account. Bretta, who owns
- 11:11a tax service, business called Northern Star Taxes in which he's laundering the money.
- 11:16So just not a good situation. Yeah, even though it is being
- 11:18legalized everywhere, you know, you still got to do it on the up
- 11:22and up. It's not in North Dakota, but you can go across the
- 11:24river, and you know some of that stuff's available eleven dollars an hour.
- 11:28You drive around town, you're going to see signs for at least eighteen bucks
- 11:31an hour. Yeah, but you know there's perks. I'm not just fly.
- 11:37You know about the perks that they were going to do, so you
- 11:39would hope, right, Like if I'm working at Arby's, I better be
- 11:41get some roast beef here in there, you know what I'm saying. Extra
- 11:43Horsey sauce, please, and thank you, a tub to go? Thank
- 11:46you. I want one of the squeeze things like they having the lobby in
- 11:50my apartment to have Arby's. Oh, Arby's sauce sell, I think they
- 11:56do. You got to be able to buy that, right, Arby's Horsey
- 11:58sauce. I think I just like a good horse radish in anything in general.
- 12:03But you gotta have do you? I always mix it. It's a
- 12:05combo for me. The Arby's in the horse. Of course, I mix
- 12:07it. I've been mixing it for two decades. And with the curly fries
- 12:11dipping into the mat, I take in this way. I do they give
- 12:13you the little cups, No, ignore those. Take a big lid like
- 12:18a large soda. Take the lid and I just fill that boy up with
- 12:22the sauce. That what you can dip the fries. You can dip your
- 12:24roasty sandwich, even though you already put some on there. But just such
- 12:28thing as too much? What are you doing today at lunchtime? It out
- 12:33I'm thinking of We've just made our lunch plan. Remember those old commercials for
- 12:37the hat. The Arby's hat would like hover over people's heads because they're thinking
- 12:41Army's. I got the hat on. You could say, is it room
- 12:46for me? Because I'm coming all right? TikTok says that it will take
- 12:50legal action to try to block the US legislation that could lead to it being
- 12:54banned by Dien of course signed that law yesterday that forces its Chinese bearing company
- 12:58to sell ownership for national security reasons, TikTok Ceo said, and I quote
- 13:03rest assured we aren't going anywhere. I got myself so hungry that you read
- 13:07that whole story and all I heard was Chinese and I started thinking about Chinese
- 13:13food. Oh, I thought you were still thinking of Horsey sauce. That's
- 13:16that doesn't mix. Terarioki, though Sweden sour to sew whatever that is?
- 13:26Is it general to sour to sew? In general? There's no way to
- 13:31know. Amanda in the morning on sage. Well, if you don't mind
- 13:35me sharing a bit of personal news, I am feeling good today, and
- 13:39the reason being a Manda. As you know, one month ago, yesterday,
- 13:43I embarked on a new journey, a journey I'd never even attempted before,
- 13:48and that would be to go an entire month without having a drink of
- 13:52alcohol. Yeah, I'm proud of you. What the spoiler? What?
- 13:58What people are waiting to find out? I wonder if be I wonder if
- 14:00you made it? A month? Is a long time. He's always out
- 14:03and about how could he go a whole month? How could he possibly?
- 14:07And he's in a band as a man that already has revealed. I'd like
- 14:09to report that today I have successfully made it a month without drinking. Way
- 14:15to go sorry to spoil it now. You did also at seven eleven dish
- 14:20that you Yeah, but that was so many minutes ago. Yeah, that's
- 14:22true. That's a whole new audience. And listen, I just know what,
- 14:24there's a lot of people out there that maybe have not done so I
- 14:28know a lot of people who did dry January. And to be honest,
- 14:31that was part of it. I felt left out. Everybody I knew had
- 14:33done this dry January and I didn't. And I thought, well, I
- 14:37want to be able to say because if we're being totally honest, and I
- 14:39know obviously drinking it can be a very serious problem. Of course, of
- 14:43course this was more from you know, just like I'd like to just see
- 14:46how it is, how it is not drinking, and to be able to
- 14:50tell yourself that you can do it. It was. It was good not
- 14:52to mention you. Also, I mean this you were like a little science
- 14:56project. I love this. You lost twelve pounds. I did lose twelve
- 14:58pounds, which aut a month ago and thirty days ago. I was,
- 15:01you know, really at a peak of seeing my weight. I weighed myself
- 15:05and I was like, oh, dear god, you know that's long winter.
- 15:09We might have peaked here like lifetime weight wise, you know, And
- 15:11so immediately I knew that if I stopped drinking, of course you're gonna lose
- 15:15weight, you know, because that's a lot of empty calories, right,
- 15:18and then of course the eating that goes along with drinking. But it was
- 15:20a way to get myself to just kind of dial in on working out and
- 15:24eating, right, so all those things combined, and yeah, it was
- 15:26It was a good month, so I know, and I'm really proud of
- 15:28you because it didn't stop you. And people always say, like, how
- 15:33do you guys do it? Because you're doing happy hours. There's a lot
- 15:35of social involved in what we do. Yeah, and it is easy to
- 15:39be like, oh, yeah, I'll have a vodka sod or I'll have
- 15:41a beer here and there or whatever it may be. But you chose to
- 15:45still do a lot of things. Your brother, you were supporting him.
- 15:46He is an artist himself. Yeah, Bobbie. Of course things in our
- 15:50band Low Standards, but he's in another band called savedany CJ. He does
- 15:54acoustics shows solo. So yeah, I was out and about supporting him.
- 15:56Drinking. Na's the first na I found like the sensation of grabbing the bottle,
- 16:03opening it, taking the drink, you kind of get the feel of
- 16:06like a normal maybe buzz you would feel obviously after that after the second one,
- 16:10now you're just peeing every ten seconds because you're just drinking water essentially,
- 16:14which is good too, because it's good for you. But a couple things
- 16:15like I was curious about how did it affect like sleep. You know,
- 16:18some people say you just sleep so much better. Unfortunately it was not the
- 16:22case. Didn't seem to affect that one way or the other. I was
- 16:25really hoping that was going to be your biggest trigger there, but it yeah,
- 16:29I mean on the weekends and the social stuff that was the biggest concern
- 16:32because this month, the reason I chose this month is I got a lot
- 16:34of stuff going on, kind of work wise, not a lot of I
- 16:37didn't have a show, didn't have any big like weddings or bachelor parties.
- 16:41There wasn't any moments that were really gonna tell I can't not right, But
- 16:45no, it was a you know, it's fun to be out. Obviously,
- 16:47after a couple drinks, when everyone else is getting really silly and talkative,
- 16:51then you're kind of like, okay, I probably just go home at
- 16:52this point, but so big happy. I think all'll have my first free
- 16:57beer like you could get to if you show up to the local seven to
- 17:00one in West Fargo from four to six. So come celebrate, Pike.
- 17:03That's right, it's all about me tonight. I love it. I'm proud
- 17:07of you. But oh thanks kid, I'm proud of you too. In
- 17:11a minute in the morning on Big Nuddy eight point. You see stories like
- 17:15this. People post on Reddit about their bosses and how horrible they are.
- 17:19So it really makes you appreciate the boss you have, even if you might
- 17:22not even like him that much. But this guy posted on Reddit situation where
- 17:26his dog passed away out of nowhere. It was not, you know,
- 17:30something that they'd expected, and so it's the night time you got to work
- 17:34the next day. Now we don't know what kind of job this guy works,
- 17:38but he shared a screenshot with his boss or the manager asking for the
- 17:42day off so he could grieve. I mean, this just happened out of
- 17:45nowhere. And if you've lost a pet, which we both have, is
- 17:48horrible. I mean it's horrible, especially went into unexpected and that's what happened
- 17:52with Vino last summer. It was just like one of those moments out of
- 17:56nowhere, like within minutes, it was just done. It was awful,
- 17:59right, you don't have time to emotionally prepare. You know, I've lost
- 18:02a couple of dogs that were fourteen year old dogs. Yes, even then,
- 18:07still the hardest thing you got it exactly doesn't matter. So the boss
- 18:10text back basically saying you need to come in now. We're sacrificed staying doing
- 18:17extra of your job, and you know we're short staffed. This is why
- 18:21you need to prep It's hard for the person who will cover when there's nothing
- 18:26prepped. So come in and work now. The gar here you how could
- 18:32you possibly have well known? I mean, come on, of course you
- 18:36couldn't. Now I don't know if the boss And it doesn't clarify whether the
- 18:38boss means like, I don't know what job this is if you're supposed to
- 18:41be getting things prepped for the next day, regardless whether your dog passed way
- 18:45or not, in which case that's a separate issue. But even so,
- 18:48in the fact that there was zero condolences or understanding to even start, it's
- 18:53just icky, like you're just not a good person. In the text,
- 18:56message. Reading it, it's it's unbelievable how some people can be appointed manager
- 19:03when they can't even you know, type at a sixth grade level. Oh
- 19:07god, So what did he end up doing? Assuming he just didn't show
- 19:11up? He doesn't say he's just basically looking for feedback, and you know,
- 19:15how should he handle this? Honestly? I mean, I don't know
- 19:17what kind of operation they got going on there. That person should not be
- 19:19the manager, Like no way, no, you show anybody above them this
- 19:23message and go okay. Yeah, but people are so hard up for good
- 19:27workers, so it's like, you know, the ability to not get fired
- 19:32has never been higher for some people. Yeah, and you, honestly,
- 19:36when you have those situations that happen, if there's ever a moment where you're
- 19:38like, man, maybe I didn't care for my job. But if they're
- 19:41not going to be understanding next, like, there's enough, there's enough things
- 19:45in the world going on that you can see you can probably find another one.
- 19:48Yeah. I don't know how much you're making, but it's nothing would
- 19:52be worth putting up with something like that. Oh good, No, just
- 19:56Devil's advocate here. If this is like the third dog that's on a expectedly
- 20:00died for this person in like the last year. You know, you know,
- 20:02then maybe I'm on the manager side. Maybe I'm starting to raise some
- 20:06suspicions. Do you think that there's been behavior? Are you thinking, hey,
- 20:11are you going total conspiracy as though the dog didn't die? Or are
- 20:14you just saying maybe he has a track record of well, yeah, exactly,
- 20:18it's sunny seventy five and no win. Oh gosh, I got to
- 20:22stay home today. Yeah, I've already I've already exhausted, like sick days.
- 20:26I gotta try something else. And it's like, hey, if you
- 20:27want the day off, you got to go extreme. This is when I,
- 20:30like in college, my old go to when I needed maybe some extra
- 20:33time on a paper or something. Gosh, what was it? You know,
- 20:37you can never go wrong with a little generic family emergency, Yeah,
- 20:41because there's no questioning. You can't. There's a row questioning, And you
- 20:45think, like, because if you go death, it's like that's just really
- 20:48bad karma. Also, though family emergency always makes me feel like but it
- 20:52could be anything. What justifies a family emergency? My mom needed a ride
- 20:56to a doctor appointment. Yeah, my sister was having a hard time getting
- 21:03out of bed. Just never no, get a Manda in the morning,
- 21:07Come on, get up on Big seven. Everybody travels a little differently.
- 21:11But there's this new trend in the travel industry. I've just been made aware
- 21:15of, Amanda. I want to tell you about it, all right.
- 21:17It's called going on a sleepcation. Oh gosh, that sounds absolutely amazing.
- 21:22Apparently it is the number one trend right now. People are more conscious of
- 21:26getting a good night's sleep on vacation. So sleepcation is where that's the entire
- 21:30goal is to just go get a hotel. Could be even in your own
- 21:34city, could be right here in Fargas. Yeah, a little sleepcation kind
- 21:37of a knock off of a stay cation. Well it's it could be both.
- 21:41So the goal is to go get a hotel, and basically the whole
- 21:44night is surrounded around just trying to sleep better. You know, you got
- 21:48your bath bombs, you can maybe get a massage to wind you down,
- 21:52super comfortable bed. There's even hotels that are like specifically designing rooms for sleepcations.
- 21:56Well that's so awesome, making them probably really blackout curt yes, providing
- 22:02you with the bath bombs and the relaxation spray I didn't know there was a
- 22:04spray for that. This sounds like a dream, so I struggle. Of
- 22:10course, we're not usually doing sleepcations because we have the kids the majority of
- 22:15time when we're traveling. So that's like lack of sleep vacation, like you
- 22:18need to take an extra day because it's not really a vacation at all.
- 22:22Well, once you have kids, and I've been told this is the case
- 22:23where there's two types of trips. There's a vacation which is usually without the
- 22:29kids, and then there's a trip. Yeah, that's the one with the
- 22:30kids. Where not exactly relaxing. Right. The last vacation we went on,
- 22:36we did a mini little staycation within our vacation. My husband and I.
- 22:40Yeah, and he's like, let's take a nap. And I don't
- 22:44know what it is about me when I'm traveling. It's like I just don't
- 22:47want to miss a beat. Yeah, I totally get that, and so
- 22:48I'm my god. So I laid down, took a nap and it was
- 22:52like it was only an hour. It's not taking anything out of my trip.
- 22:57It's not going to ruin anything. But we usually stay on schedule.
- 23:00How do you guys do this because I know we have crazy Well, you
- 23:04don't go to better really because you don't sleep. Ever, I'm sleeping,
- 23:07but I end up still going to bed like eight nine o'clock. What's so?
- 23:11What the vacation is? You know, you go to Vegas a lot,
- 23:14and obviously you're not going to bed at eight nine o'clock, although one
- 23:17time I did pass out very early. Is humiliating, but it is nice
- 23:21to kind of stay within that schedule. I find that to be rather relaxing,
- 23:25waking up, having coffee, working out, Like I like to stay
- 23:26in a weird routine while I'm vacationing. Man, I worked out once on
- 23:30a vacation. It was the dumbest thing I ever did. Really, Oh,
- 23:33it's just stupid. Come on now, like even who you're trying to
- 23:36impress, But it's weird. I actually like gyms at hotels and stuff.
- 23:40I'm like, oh, there's something about it. It's just a quick thirty
- 23:42minute sweat. Just kind of have a nice like, hey, I can
- 23:45stay in my routine and feel good about that. And there's the ultimate flex.
- 23:48Walking out of the gym at a hotel, Everybody going, oh my
- 23:52god, this person has it together. I did work out. We went
- 23:53on a cruise and there was a nice gym on the cruise ship. Okay,
- 23:56so it was kind of cool, like being on a treadmill and you're
- 24:00like basically Jack and Rose at the front of the ship just working out.
- 24:03It was very cool. Well, I think i'd get a little nauch chefs
- 24:07just watching the you're in the middle of the ocean, listen. If I
- 24:10didn't get nauseous, you're not gonna get nauseous. But vacations otherwise, you
- 24:12know, there's two kinds. There's this sleep cation and then there's like the
- 24:15basically you're on a field trip where you got this itinerary and it's not relaxing
- 24:19at all, but you want to get it in because you're paying money to
- 24:22be there. Like we're going to Italy in August, you know, and
- 24:26we've got the itinerary down, and my god, it's a is there even
- 24:30sleep? Now? Do you have to add that to your itinerary? I
- 24:32don't think we got time. I think we can squeeze it in. I
- 24:33mean I gotta be up and at them at the Vatican at seven thirty a
- 24:38m okay, lunchbox packed ready to go, like it a minute in the
- 24:42morning, Big ninety eight point seven. Well, it must be nice to
- 24:45be beautiful. Yeah, beautiful. And that's not just me, and that's
- 24:49not opinion, that is fact. According to research, the pretty girl privilege
- 24:55is real. Now, this just came out of the Journal of Economic Behavior
- 24:59and Organization. I was just reading my talk about some credentials being dropped there.
- 25:04My April edition had just arrived in the mail and they didn't ready for
- 25:08us. We appreciate it, I always do. Don't miss one. And
- 25:11they did this interesting study where they took a bunch of people, men and
- 25:14women, and they gave them a questionnaire that they had to answer honestly.
- 25:18That was the assignment. And on the questionnaire they put a photo of somebody
- 25:22that they claimed was like the person conducting the study, and it was a
- 25:26woman. And on half of the people it featured a very attractive or traditionally
- 25:30attractive looking woman. On the other half it was not so attractive person.
- 25:34Well, they found that overwhelmingly the men were more honest when it was an
- 25:38attractive woman. On the other side, women were less honest when it was
- 25:45the attractive woman. Because of what they say is a primal jealousy women feel.
- 25:51I can see that, but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
- 25:53That's one thing I remember. I heard that once. Yeah, and
- 25:57that right now, that's great and it is true, but there are certain
- 26:00subconscious things that we can't help but feel. Right, it's true that you
- 26:04see somebody attractive and they've proven it that you just kind of stand, you
- 26:08just naturally sort of assume without even realizing it, that they're may be a
- 26:12better character judging the book by its cover, it's a legit thing. And
- 26:17then the pretty girl privilege. You know, people say that's the thing,
- 26:21but then others argue that pretty girls are never taken seriously. And I think
- 26:25it depends on this situation. Isn't that just something you don't want to hear
- 26:30though, a super beautiful person telling you how difficult it is to be that
- 26:34pretty to be not well, of course, if they're going to talk about
- 26:37that, but if there's a well educated woman who is happens to be gorgeous
- 26:41and she has her PhD and whatever, you're like, man, girl,
- 26:45you you won the lottery. You did great, But it is amazing to
- 26:49me. As women, how we like I would say, we like get
- 26:55ready or dress for other women, it's not even necessary or like for ourselves
- 26:57in confidence, not necessar for men. Like it's it's interesting, Well,
- 27:02it's very competitive. The women seem more competitive about just everything about each other
- 27:07their friend groups. Are we just more vocal about or is it just more
- 27:10known because our guys this way? I guess I've never really asked you guys
- 27:14that. Now it seems she's never asked us. Man, I've never really
- 27:17thought about that. I've sat down with a panel of men, like how
- 27:19you guys feel about other men? Look for the guys in the band,
- 27:22let's go because that's a tight knit group of Yeah, my band low standards?
- 27:26Is that that's one you're referencing when I'm referencing. Okay, is there
- 27:30like a weird competenty like you guys are getting ready for a show? Is
- 27:34there like a weird vibe? Is somebody looking better or is it? I
- 27:37don't do you guys have those kind of Well, we do have an argument
- 27:41of who gets to wear the black v neck on stage because you don't only
- 27:45have one. Okay, Well that was more and we kind of got away
- 27:47from the black v nex. But there was a while there in the mid
- 27:48to late twenty tens, where he was like Dibbs black V neck, well,
- 27:52because that's the most flattering like for I think anybody. If you can
- 27:56wear the black T shirt, you're winning. We're all very ugly men though,
- 28:00so it's kind of different. Stop it, are you kidding me with
- 28:03this? And now you get your hair cut, your little side, get
- 28:06out of here. Man, we work together. This is very awkward, adorable
