- 0:03Speaker 2: Mm hmmmmmmmm mhm h m.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I mean that's a joke to me, all right, And
- 0:24Speaker 1: so this team is gonna be built on We're gonna
- 0:27Speaker 1: kick you in the teeth, all right, and when you
- 0:29Speaker 1: punch us back, we're gonna smile at you. And when
- 0:31Speaker 1: you knock us down, we're gonna get up. And on
- 0:33Speaker 1: the way up, we're gonna buy a kneecap off, all right,
- 0:36Speaker 1: and we're gonna stand up, and then it's gonna take
- 0:38Speaker 1: two more shots to knock us down, all right. And
- 0:40Speaker 1: on the way up, we're gonna take your other kneecap
- 0:42Speaker 1: and we're gonna get up, and then it's gonna take
- 0:44Speaker 1: three shots to get us down, and when we do,
- 0:46Speaker 1: we're gonna take another hunk out of you. Before before long,
- 0:49Speaker 1: where there gonna be the last one standing.
- 0:53Speaker 3: We are the out of Bound show, ESPN one oh
- 0:57Speaker 3: five down the zone. That's Dan Campbell, head coach of
- 1:01Speaker 3: the Detroit lines, And uh yeah, that's an NFL coach,
- 1:05Speaker 3: not a ninth grade offensive line coach. Isn't that incredible?
- 1:07Speaker 3: Sounds like he's giving you a replay of maybe a
- 1:09Speaker 3: fight he was in. I feel like he's yeah, he's
- 1:12Speaker 3: probably lived that at least fourteen times.
- 1:14Speaker 4: No doubt.
- 1:15Speaker 3: He's bitting on the way up. I mean that guy,
- 1:17Speaker 3: how many so? I mean he was in football? How
- 1:19Speaker 3: many bar fights did he get in in college?
- 1:23Speaker 4: What are you get? Tight end all the way through?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Now that I don't know. I know he was at
- 1:27Speaker 3: one point, but I don't know if it was all
- 1:29Speaker 3: the way through. He is a big man. He's trench
- 1:32Speaker 3: made like he can do that. Yeah, get out there. Yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 3: whyon't you give me a little background on Dan Campbell?
- 1:39Speaker 3: I mean where'd he play?
- 1:42Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:42Speaker 3: Look at that?
- 1:43Speaker 4: You know all that.
- 1:44Speaker 3: We're ESPN one oh five nine to the zone. I'm
- 1:46Speaker 3: your host, Bo Bounds. Hope you had a good weekend.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Tell us what you did this weekend that was interesting
- 1:54Speaker 3: or fine? I mean even you hang out by the pool,
- 1:58Speaker 3: lake beach something and let us know. On the Dancing
- 2:06Speaker 3: Rabbit golf text line six oh one eight eight five
- 2:11Speaker 3: three seven seven six six oh one eight eight five
- 2:16Speaker 3: three seven seven six Lane still owned SEC media days.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Everything that he says gets crushed when people cut it
- 2:24Speaker 3: up and everywhere, well that's why it's literally everything. Oh
- 2:29Speaker 3: he's he's everywhere. He doesn't have to be he doesn't
- 2:33Speaker 3: have to be tweeting because he can do an interview
- 2:35Speaker 3: with Big Cat, he can do an interview with the
- 2:37Speaker 3: Honey Badger, he can do an interview with Bandy Fair,
- 2:40Speaker 3: and then all the interviews that he did at SEC
- 2:43Speaker 3: media Days, and he's he's good to go. It's crazy
- 2:49Speaker 3: and and people are like, it's him, No, it's everybody
- 2:54Speaker 3: wants to consume what he's saying, and you know, continuing
- 2:59Speaker 3: to ask him questions about everything that he's doing, whether
- 3:03Speaker 3: it was leaving Old Miss or what he said here
- 3:06Speaker 3: or there. He's he's you know, it's it's he and Kirby.
- 3:09Speaker 3: But Lane's the voice of college football now. When Saban
- 3:13Speaker 3: is talking to us on Saturday mornings on with the
- 3:17Speaker 3: biggest show with the biggest ratings on game day, then
- 3:23Speaker 3: we can we can say that there's a couple of
- 3:24Speaker 3: different voices that are leading the way, right Saban, Kiffen
- 3:29Speaker 3: and Kirby when he wants to.
- 3:33Speaker 4: And but but yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Saban last week was really I can't believe he does that,
- 3:39Speaker 3: like just kind of considering who he is. I mean,
- 3:43Speaker 3: I also understand that he's got plenty of downtime now,
- 3:48Speaker 3: but I can't believe he did that much work. Last week.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It was it was and and well he was. I
- 3:57Speaker 3: mean it's not you. I mean you still have to think.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And he's done his homework and you could tell he
- 4:03Speaker 3: was more than familiar with I'm not saying that he
- 4:07Speaker 3: could do a deep, deep, deep, deep deep dive into
- 4:09Speaker 3: every team, which I'm not sure anybody can. But he's
- 4:13Speaker 3: talked to all the coaches. He knows, you know, a
- 4:16Speaker 3: lot of the players pieces coming back. Thought he did
- 4:19Speaker 3: a really good job and he stole the show on
- 4:22Speaker 3: TV and he'll continue to always.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Michael s says, go balls.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Okay, you know Tennessee is a forgotten team with Lane
- 4:33Speaker 3: overshadows everybody with what Kirby's done at Georgia. A little
- 4:40Speaker 3: bit of sark in Archie. Well, no, I mean the
- 4:43Speaker 3: media is swooning over Texas. They were the vote. I
- 4:47Speaker 3: don't agree with it. I would vote Georgia. I think
- 4:50Speaker 3: it's Georgia one. And then there's a cluster of teams
- 4:53Speaker 3: that could could leap frog Georgia or be the top
- 4:58Speaker 3: in this group. Bama, Old Mi, LSU in Texas. That's
- 5:02Speaker 3: that group. Now Tennessee may be there. We're kind of
- 5:06Speaker 3: sleeping on them. Hypol two years ago. Goes to the
- 5:10Speaker 3: college football Playoff. Last year they did not. They had
- 5:15Speaker 3: a solid team, lost his quarterback. Well, Nico went to
- 5:19Speaker 3: UCLA and Joey Aguilar came in from ucl Well they
- 5:23Speaker 3: did the switch away. Remember we lived that and everybody
- 5:25Speaker 3: made a big deal and got hot and bothered over that. Yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 3: I didn't get that. But anyway, the point in all
- 5:32Speaker 3: that is everything that Lane says gets crushed everywhere on
- 5:38Speaker 3: social media. Whatever platform you like, then too, if Kirby
- 5:42Speaker 3: wants to get something out, people are going to listen.
- 5:45Speaker 3: And then Saban with his platform on ESPN now is
- 5:51Speaker 3: you know, front and center. And he has made Game
- 5:53Speaker 3: Day that had gotten really, really tired, even with a
- 5:57Speaker 3: reboot with McAfee, he has made Game Day a thousand
- 6:01Speaker 3: times better. You can be sitting there on Saturday and
- 6:05Speaker 3: it can be background music for you and he starts
- 6:08Speaker 3: talking about a game or something and you can stop
- 6:12Speaker 3: and get two to three minutes of what he says, and.
- 6:15Speaker 4: It's really really good. He's just.
- 6:20Speaker 3: He's not just a ball coach, and there's nothing wrong
- 6:23Speaker 3: with that, but he's just he's got a gift that
- 6:27Speaker 3: almost ticks you off because you know he's really really smart.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Of course, he's really really intense and focused even on
- 6:35Speaker 3: what he's doing on TV, while mcfee's over there dancing
- 6:40Speaker 3: and doing all his well, so you see them they
- 6:42Speaker 3: try to cut. They'll show them during the break after
- 6:45Speaker 3: they come back, they'll have video and McAfee's dancing and
- 6:49Speaker 3: doing things, and Saban is looking over his notes and like,
- 6:55Speaker 3: you know, tying something in. So it's great needed that
- 7:00Speaker 3: because you know, Desmond's boring Herbstreet's okay, and Reese is
- 7:07Speaker 3: there to drive the ship. So you needed some pop
- 7:10Speaker 3: and you got it with Saban and McAfee. I mean,
- 7:13Speaker 3: I think it was a big hit because I think
- 7:14Speaker 3: Fox was really making some ground and then a couple
- 7:18Speaker 3: of things happened. Whatever reason, Fox and Reggie Bush couldn't
- 7:23Speaker 3: couldn't get a contract done, which blows my mind. You
- 7:26Speaker 3: keep Reggie and maybe you just didn't want to do
- 7:28Speaker 3: it anymore. I'm not sure. I thought he was great,
- 7:31Speaker 3: and I mean probably had a chance to be the
- 7:33Speaker 3: best studio analyst outside of Saban. And they're totally different,
- 7:38Speaker 3: one being a former player at a super high level
- 7:40Speaker 3: and one being the best coach in the history of
- 7:43Speaker 3: college football. Now that thing so stylistically in paths, totally different,
- 7:49Speaker 3: but that all kind of it lined up. It wasn't
- 7:52Speaker 3: the exact same year, I don't think.
- 7:55Speaker 5: But not.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Retaining or whatever, Reggie Bush on the Fox Big Game
- 8:01Speaker 3: Show and Saban retiring and joining Game Day, even with
- 8:06Speaker 3: urban Meyer being as good as he is. Set, it's
- 8:10Speaker 3: set the Fox Show. I think they had made up
- 8:14Speaker 3: some ground and then I think they lost it. Yeah,
- 8:16Speaker 3: would love to see Saban and Reggie would love to
- 8:19Speaker 3: I think they could jail. I think they do on
- 8:21Speaker 3: the same set. Yeah, I think it'd be pretty cool.
- 8:25Speaker 3: It would work, just like anybody's gonna work. I mean,
- 8:29Speaker 3: Saban has you know what's crazy about Saban is structured
- 8:32Speaker 3: and militaristic as he is, he's able to understand that
- 8:37Speaker 3: McAfee brings a certain element and piece of the puzzle
- 8:43Speaker 3: to the show that works. Plus Saban does like So,
- 8:46Speaker 3: I don't watch McAfee, but I understand these huge, huge
- 8:50Speaker 3: but on is it Friday afternoons?
- 8:52Speaker 4: I think it is.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Saban joins him wherever they are and whoever thought of
- 8:59Speaker 3: putting them to Yeah, So when you're when you're, when
- 9:01Speaker 3: you cruise into start War or Oxford, or you're hanging
- 9:04Speaker 3: out for the weekend and your team's not playing. Saban
- 9:08Speaker 3: and McFee do a really good interview on Fridays from
- 9:11Speaker 3: ann Arbor, Tuscaloosa or wherever.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Wow, that's do.
- 9:17Speaker 3: And Ole miss is going to host game Day again
- 9:20Speaker 3: again this year because Kiffin and Lsu were going to Oxford.
- 9:27Speaker 4: We three biggest game.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Hey, your sec insider hit this morning is brought to

- 9:39Speaker 3: rates are absolutely powered and driven by your local farm
- 9:44Speaker 3: Bureau insurance agent Auto Home Life, Farm Bureau. Go local,
- 9:49Speaker 3: go with the home team. As Jake Mangam likes to
- 9:51Speaker 3: tell us, all right, let's switch gears. Jackson uh I
- 9:54Speaker 3: enjoyed though, talking Saban and Reggie Bush two very talented
- 9:58Speaker 3: guys both in football and on TV, which is not
- 10:01Speaker 3: easy at all. And Saban's only gotten better, but he
- 10:06Speaker 3: had because his last fifteen year run with Bama was
- 10:10Speaker 3: during the New media age. He was in front of
- 10:13Speaker 3: microphones and cameras every single week.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Yeah, and of course Reggie grew up as a star.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I mean, that's Southern They were the first modern that
- 10:25Speaker 3: was the first modern college football star program when Pete
- 10:30Speaker 3: got it going, and then Carson Palmer, Reggie and line
- 10:34Speaker 3: Art and all those guys on defense.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Yeah, rock stars. Yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And then it went to Florida, you know, but it
- 10:45Speaker 3: got it went from Southern cal from about O two
- 10:47Speaker 3: to six, and then they handed it off to Florida
- 10:53Speaker 3: and Tebow and Urban, who then handed it off to
- 10:56Speaker 3: Bama and Sabans and then it got handed to Dab
- 11:00Speaker 3: and Deshaun and their run and then Kirby and now
- 11:04Speaker 3: we've just been four different ones the last four years,
- 11:07Speaker 3: so we haven't been doing any like somebody went in
- 11:10Speaker 3: two or four years or two years in a row.
- 11:13Speaker 3: In a minute, yeah, now, could Indiana sure? Or could
- 11:19Speaker 3: any of the four that have made it? No, I
- 11:22Speaker 3: don't know about Michigan, but Indian Ohio State or Georgia
- 11:26Speaker 3: four years ago. I'm kind of skipping over Michigan because
- 11:29Speaker 3: I'm not sure. But any of those three teams, I'm
- 11:32Speaker 3: not sure. I'd be surprised. Maybe with Indiana, and I
- 11:35Speaker 3: probably shouldn't be surprised. I'm just doing what we talk about.
- 11:39Speaker 3: I'm thinking of them as what they were prior to
- 11:42Speaker 3: this new again model iteration of what we're living right
- 11:47Speaker 3: now in the world of college football. So anyway, I
- 11:50Speaker 3: like Georgia as my number one, not Texas. Then there's
- 11:55Speaker 3: a cluster of teams that are dangerous that could win
- 11:59Speaker 3: it and or be number one in the next tier,
- 12:03Speaker 3: and that's Bama, Ole, Miss LSU in Texas. Now we
- 12:08Speaker 3: could have a team over Tennise you know who knows.
- 12:12Speaker 3: We could have a team in the SEC that's not
- 12:15Speaker 3: part of my two groups right there that jumps up
- 12:20Speaker 3: in surprises maybe Tennessee, Oklahoma or A and M. I
- 12:24Speaker 3: would think would be the only ones. Possibly Florida with
- 12:27Speaker 3: a first year coach with John summer Off, but that's
- 12:30Speaker 3: probably a tall task. I think he's going to do
- 12:33Speaker 3: a good job, but that's a lot. So I think
- 12:40Speaker 3: they'll beat people. They'll win, they'll win a nice amount
- 12:43Speaker 3: of games. They'll be a thorn in your side. They'll
- 12:45Speaker 3: be much better. But I don't know if they're ready
- 12:48Speaker 3: to be in that second group that any of those
- 12:52Speaker 3: could be in the could overtake Georgia. So I got
- 12:56Speaker 3: Georgia one and group two just kind of depending on
- 13:00Speaker 3: who wants to go get it bam Ole miss LSU
- 13:04Speaker 3: in Texas, so it's pretty easy. Yeah, and then the
- 13:11Speaker 3: next group is whatever the cluster Arkansas, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Kentucky.
- 13:21Speaker 3: You know, Da da da da, that type deal. They
- 13:23Speaker 3: may be the fourth group. Actually, I guess the third
- 13:26Speaker 3: group would be what I was wrapped for A and
- 13:28Speaker 3: M Tennessee, Oklahoma, possibly Florida. Right, I'm not I'm not
- 13:35Speaker 3: buying Auburn.
- 13:36Speaker 4: In year one.
- 13:36Speaker 3: So we'll see what Goldish does. What uh So Nick
- 13:47Speaker 3: sent us a picture of somebody laying out. I guess
- 13:51Speaker 3: it's his wife or girlfriend.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Cool man. They've been posted up on sandbar.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Well, they're on a sandbar. I'm all about it. I
- 13:58Speaker 3: love a boat and a San Barna ice ice cold,
- 14:03Speaker 3: Michelobalter and some good music. So or if somebody's got
- 14:07Speaker 3: some you know, a blender on the back of the boat,
- 14:10Speaker 3: which is now like standard. Yeah, okay, let's do the audio.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I want to do urban Meyer coaching with Fear before
- 14:20Speaker 3: I go Kipp and go Steve Jobs. So urban Meyer
- 14:24Speaker 3: is a crazy man and he well he's one of
- 14:29Speaker 3: the best ever. He just he didn't have the longevity
- 14:31Speaker 3: because of health reasons, right.
- 14:34Speaker 4: I mean, what he did at.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State is absolutely incredible.
- 14:39Speaker 3: And by the way, whether you love him or hate him,
- 14:41Speaker 3: I know a lot of you dislike whatever. You know
- 14:43Speaker 3: I talked about all the time. I love I love
- 14:45Speaker 3: how we decide who we don't like in sports or
- 14:48Speaker 3: really anything in life, but sports, sports, Go sports. That's funny.
- 14:53Speaker 3: My daughter has a sweatshirt. She's not really a big
- 14:56Speaker 3: sports fan, so she has a sweatshirt that says, go sports.
- 14:59Speaker 4: I just thought of that.
- 15:00Speaker 3: This is Urban Meyer talking about coaching with fear.
- 15:05Speaker 2: But it was nothing more than I wanted that person
- 15:08Speaker 2: to be great. Yeah, And I'm a psychology major, and
- 15:13Speaker 2: the the strongest forms of motivation are love, fear and hate.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Only one sustainable, but fear and hate powerful motivator. Have
- 15:23Speaker 2: I used those? Oh? Hell yeah, sure, I'm gonna pull
- 15:25Speaker 2: your scholarship. You know you're too soft. You can't do
- 15:29Speaker 2: this because I would try to motivate that person for
- 15:32Speaker 2: you know, for some greatness, and is fear and hate
- 15:36Speaker 2: a great motivator. It's about as good as he gets. Yeah,
- 15:39Speaker 2: but it's not sustainable. Love of love is the only
- 15:42Speaker 2: sustainable motivator.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I love that.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I was thinking, like that works in the football field
- 15:47Speaker 2: and the gridiron, But how's that going to show up
- 15:49Speaker 2: a marriage, Like.
- 15:51Speaker 4: How does that pull your scholarship? You know if they're
- 15:53Speaker 4: at no no, yeah, but no, that's what.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Are your children?
- 15:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you got Why did I I really get one C?
- 16:02Speaker 2: And it's not like I like school. It was the
- 16:05Speaker 2: fact that I was horrified on my father. Yeah, so
- 16:07Speaker 2: I had good grades. Yeah, not because I was That
- 16:11Speaker 2: was fear. That was fear driven. Was it helpful?
- 16:14Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, because if I came home that a sea was okay,
- 16:19Speaker 2: I probably got another C. Yeah, maybe a couple of d's. Yeah,
- 16:22Speaker 2: but that was not going to happen in our household.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Are you more motivated by love or fear these days?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Oh? It's I think fear. I hate to say that.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I wish I could control it, but there's still a
- 16:36Speaker 2: piece of me. But that drove me in my career.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Fear of failure, fear of letting people down. It's probably
- 16:41Speaker 2: why I had the shelf life. You know, I knew
- 16:44Speaker 2: fifty five years old, I'm done.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 2: You know some of these coaches are coaching until they're
- 16:48Speaker 2: seventy five years old. I would never been able to
- 16:50Speaker 2: do that. Yeah, yeah, my body couldn't take it.
- 16:53Speaker 4: But it was all right.
- 16:55Speaker 3: So that was urban Meyer talking about coaching through and
- 17:02Speaker 3: with fear. That was a very I think some of
- 17:06Speaker 3: y'all probably thought the same thing as I did.
- 17:09Speaker 4: You could be talking, you could be you could close your.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Eyes and think, am I listening to a military general
- 17:18Speaker 3: from World War two?
- 17:20Speaker 4: Right?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Because the military is set up it's it's fear driven. Right,
- 17:25Speaker 3: if you don't do your job, then somebody. Now I
- 17:28Speaker 3: understand football not it's you know, but if you don't
- 17:31Speaker 3: do your job here through training and all the preparation,
- 17:34Speaker 3: somebody could die, all right. And so coaching football, basketball,
- 17:41Speaker 3: and even I mean other sports was taken through the
- 17:44Speaker 3: military right even before World War One. I did not
- 17:49Speaker 3: realize that that he was horrified of his father. So
- 17:52Speaker 3: he only made I think one see he said in school,
- 17:59Speaker 3: But I thought that was pretty good. He's like, hell, yeah,
- 18:02Speaker 3: I use fear. You know he said it in there.
- 18:06Speaker 3: You know, I would threaten the yank people's scholarships. A
- 18:10Speaker 3: lot of people are going to say, I can't believe
- 18:12Speaker 3: that it's been happening for decades. I mean that is
- 18:17Speaker 3: what especially football, but other sports were set up as
- 18:21Speaker 3: coming out of World War One, again military driven. The
- 18:25Speaker 3: way the coaches were I mean some could some could
- 18:28Speaker 3: understand the organizational structure. Many could not, but they tried.
- 18:32Speaker 3: And then coming out of World War Two, we rebooted
- 18:34Speaker 3: and did another you know, model of that. Now, let's
- 18:38Speaker 3: go to Lane Jackson and kif Then, to me, when
- 18:44Speaker 3: I listened to this, Lane goes Steve Jobs.
- 18:49Speaker 5: In my opinion, I believed in taking this that all
- 18:53Speaker 5: that was going to play into this building, this elite program.
- 18:58Speaker 5: You have the branding of LSU, the history of LSU,
- 19:01Speaker 5: you have the Tiger Stadium, most iconic place to play
- 19:04Speaker 5: college football, the cathedral, and then you put that with us,
- 19:09Speaker 5: with our systems and I don't like to talk about myself
- 19:12Speaker 5: whatever you call the Lane kiff In factor, and you
- 19:15Speaker 5: bring that in as you allude to, and you combine that,
- 19:17Speaker 5: I think that all goes into that. Now you have
- 19:19Speaker 5: twelve players with Nike and Ile deals, the first offensive
- 19:22Speaker 5: lineman ever. No other schools above eight. We didn't say
- 19:27Speaker 5: like twelve eleven. We didn't say just SEC schools. So
- 19:34Speaker 5: it's a big reason why we're here. When I said
- 19:36Speaker 5: that first press conference, like it's just different. We're going
- 19:38Speaker 5: to make this thing different than anywhere else to go
- 19:41Speaker 5: when you combine LSU and US and you're seeing it.
- 19:45Speaker 5: You know, we just on stage had that question in
- 19:48Speaker 5: the vany fair and all that whatever, and as I
- 19:50Speaker 5: walked off, and you know, I didn't really want to
- 19:53Speaker 5: say it, but you know when you talk about the
- 19:55Speaker 5: changes of places. Somebody said it the other day, they
- 19:58Speaker 5: said like a month ago where they were like, well,
- 20:01Speaker 5: he's been here six months and he's had more five
- 20:05Speaker 5: star signees and commits than he did in the previous
- 20:07Speaker 5: six years combined. You know, that's kind of proof to
- 20:12Speaker 5: me of the decision and of the combination of the
- 20:15Speaker 5: two US and LSU.
- 20:20Speaker 3: All Right, shocker, Lane Kiffen going channeling his inner Steve Jobs. Okay,
- 20:28Speaker 3: so he walks you through again, LSU the brand, the
- 20:33Speaker 3: power behind it, and they are and I've said this,
- 20:36Speaker 3: some of you will have a different three. My three
- 20:39Speaker 3: are Ohio State, George and LSU. Those are the programs
- 20:46Speaker 3: in America big time.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Again.
- 20:51Speaker 3: One is just who they are right, commitment, right, this
- 20:57Speaker 3: is a willpower thing. As a mine says, who's super successful.
- 21:02Speaker 3: He goes, all these teams have enough money to fund
- 21:06Speaker 3: their nil roster. It's just a matter of the alumni
- 21:10Speaker 3: groups that have the will power. And they're also set
- 21:15Speaker 3: up in States Jackson where they're the only game in town. Collegiately,
- 21:21Speaker 3: LSU has the Saints and the Pelicans, but come on,
- 21:25Speaker 3: I mean, as far as college, it's LSU Georgia. Yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 3: there's some pro teams, but it's them and Ohio State.
- 21:32Speaker 3: We all know the drill. So that's what jumped out
- 21:36Speaker 3: at me. As far as Lane talking about, I love
- 21:42Speaker 3: how he said the Lane Kiffin factor. People were going
- 21:44Speaker 3: to get mad at that, oh because he's referenced by
- 21:48Speaker 3: the way he's right, there is a Lane Kiffin factor evident. Okay,
- 21:53Speaker 3: there's no debate, and I understand the pushback is, well,
- 21:57Speaker 3: he hasn't won one's, but he what he did at
- 22:05Speaker 3: Old Miss is simply remarkable. Is simply remarkable, and especially
- 22:13Speaker 3: that last too.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I mean it just.
- 22:16Speaker 3: You know, I mean, he was there and he's went
- 22:19Speaker 3: in but then man, the last the last three years
- 22:23Speaker 3: and especially the last two and to go eleven and
- 22:26Speaker 3: one last year is crazy, absolutely crazy.
- 22:33Speaker 4: So I thought that was good.
- 22:34Speaker 3: I thought urban, being honest and authentic and talking about
- 22:38Speaker 3: coaching with fear, and and and and some of you
- 22:43Speaker 3: don't won't like it. Some of you are sitting there
- 22:45Speaker 3: nine in your head going hell, that's part of it.
- 22:47Speaker 3: You got to you got to try to get either fifteen,
- 22:49Speaker 3: sixteen to seventeen year olds on the same page in
- 22:51Speaker 3: high school. You got to have an enormous amount of
- 22:53Speaker 3: accountability and discipline, or you got to get eighteen to
- 22:56Speaker 3: twenty three year olds on the same page.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Hell, y'all know, going into your business.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Today, if there's not accountability and discipline and measures in place,
- 23:06Speaker 3: then what's going to get done by the time everybody
- 23:08Speaker 3: heads out at five five thirty six this afternoon. It's
- 23:12Speaker 3: just the bottom line. But I thought that was good.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I've got some other stuff to Charles hoff Yeah. People
- 23:20Speaker 3: believe that Charles Huff will be a Power four coach
- 23:23Speaker 3: if he can he can stay around that eight win
- 23:27Speaker 3: Mark Jackson, Yeah, he's got a chance. If something opens up,
- 23:31Speaker 3: seven and five may get it, because that's not bad
- 23:33Speaker 3: at all. But if he goes eight and four plus,
- 23:38Speaker 3: we are the out of bound show. ESPN one oh
- 23:41Speaker 3: five nine The Zone. We're powered by Farm Bureau Insurance
