- 1:22Speaker 3: your pregame show served up by Prospered course by Choose
- 1:25Speaker 3: Chill on the Global Credit Union Cracking Audio Network OW three.
- 1:28Speaker 3: One win for the Kraken over Chicago back in the
- 1:31Speaker 3: win column. A lot of what the head coach Lane
- 1:33Speaker 3: Lambert talked about going into that game against the Hawks,
- 1:36Speaker 3: the Kraken were able to achieve, mainly putting more bucks
- 1:39Speaker 3: on net.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Absolutely, getting ten in that first period was huge. They
- 1:42Speaker 4: can get a goal in the first but putting ten
- 1:44Speaker 4: on that you could definitely see there was intention every
- 1:47Speaker 4: time they crossed the blue line about getting the biscuit
- 1:49Speaker 4: towards the fern the net and deferred to payoff in
- 1:51Speaker 4: the second half of the game.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Best players were the best players for Seattle. A goal
- 1:55Speaker 3: and assist each for Matty Veneers and Jordan Everie also
- 1:58Speaker 3: enjoyed the cord.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Another strong bounce back performance.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, and that's what you're gonna look for every
- 2:03Speaker 4: time thirty five is in the net.
- 2:05Speaker 1: He needs to be strong.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Back there because I got a feeling we're gonna see
- 2:08Speaker 4: a lot of three to one hockey games.
- 2:09Speaker 1: The rest of the season.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Special teams have been an area that I know you
- 2:12Speaker 3: and I have talked about a lot lane. Lambert has
- 2:14Speaker 3: talked about quite a bit cracking and now have a
- 2:16Speaker 3: power play goal in three straight games and they are
- 2:19Speaker 3: perfect six for six on the PK over their last two.
- 2:23Speaker 1: What have you seen about this special teams for the cracket?
- 2:26Speaker 1: Do you feel they've turned that proverbial corner yet?
- 2:29Speaker 4: Well, I think that they've turned the corner in terms
- 2:30Speaker 4: of again see above, putting pucks on net on the
- 2:33Speaker 4: power play. The penalty kill has been strong since the
- 2:35Speaker 4: start of this season. They're blocking shots, they're taking away
- 2:38Speaker 4: passing lanes. In the last two games, four for eight
- 2:41Speaker 4: on the on the power play and in one hundred
- 2:45Speaker 4: percent on the on the penalty goill.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You can't can't be better than that.
- 2:47Speaker 3: You mentioned block shots, cracking nineteen blocks against the Blackhawks
- 2:51Speaker 3: on Monday night. Across the red line, the San Jose Sharks,
- 2:54Speaker 3: one of the league's youngest teams, one of the league's
- 2:57Speaker 3: most exciting teams as well, and after starting the season
- 3:01Speaker 3: zero four and two, they are four to two and
- 3:03Speaker 3: one in their last seven games, including massive wins over
- 3:07Speaker 3: the Rangers, the Devils.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And the Colorado Avalanche.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Yeah, despite their loss agains Detroit the other night, Sam Dickinson,
- 3:13Speaker 4: one of their younger players, got his first goal in
- 3:15Speaker 4: the league.
- 3:15Speaker 1: He's a defenseman for them.
- 3:16Speaker 4: They're eleventh overall pick in twenty twenty four and you
- 3:19Speaker 4: gotta you see things like that.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You know this team is starting to rebuild.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Second youngest forward group in the NHL are the San
- 3:28Speaker 3: Jose Sharks, so they should be good and promising for
- 3:31Speaker 3: a long time to come. Mike Benson on the Course

- 6:47Speaker 10: Back at the Corse Light landing in section twenty with
- 6:50Speaker 10: the Crack and decked out in their black alternate third
- 6:52Speaker 10: jerseys again, this evening their record coming in six two
- 6:56Speaker 10: and four, sixteen points right now, pushing for first play
- 7:00Speaker 10: in the Pacific one point out in this wrapping up
- 7:03Speaker 10: their five game homestand it's against the Sharks. Are stand
- 7:06Speaker 10: at four to six and three eleven points, and this
- 7:09Speaker 10: is a standalone road game for them. They are two
- 7:11Speaker 10: to zero to one and their last three and as
- 7:14Speaker 10: ever pointed out earlier, a team packed with raw but
- 7:18Speaker 10: promising a youthful skill the Krack and trying to get
- 7:21Speaker 10: their tenth win in sixteen tries against San Jose and
- 7:24Speaker 10: entering a game where you could say it's a theme
- 7:27Speaker 10: of just like Chicago, the same rules apply, being ready
- 7:30Speaker 10: for a team whose window might still be years away
- 7:33Speaker 10: here but still very very dangerous based on the young
- 7:36Speaker 10: talent that they have and the Krack and want to
- 7:39Speaker 10: essentially keep a good run going here. For this evening
- 7:41Speaker 10: at home, they're four to ozho and two. Only three
- 7:44Speaker 10: other teams still haven't lost a game at home in
- 7:47Speaker 10: regulation this season. That's New Jersey, Edmonton and Colorado. Part
- 7:52Speaker 10: of this, the Kraken a been pretty good at putting
- 7:54Speaker 10: away teams in close games as well. For the six
- 7:57Speaker 10: zone games they've had, every game has been set up
- 7:59Speaker 10: by two goals or less, and for their entire season
- 8:03Speaker 10: twelve games spanning that just three had been decided by
- 8:07Speaker 10: more than two goals, So plenty of experience paying off
- 8:11Speaker 10: so far and playing in tight games and the Crack
- 8:13Speaker 10: and trying to capitalize on that. Here at the end
- 8:15Speaker 10: of this five game homestand against San Jose, they have
- 8:19Speaker 10: scared a few teams despite their record sub five hundred.
- 8:22Speaker 10: As Everett said, they began the year zero four and two,
- 8:25Speaker 10: but ever since then four to two and one. Into
- 8:28Speaker 10: their last three games, they had wins against New Jersey,
- 8:31Speaker 10: a win against Colorado, and a shootout loss against Detroit.
- 8:35Speaker 10: So the Crack and have to be ready for the
- 8:37Speaker 10: kind of game that San Jose can bring. And they
- 8:39Speaker 10: have electrifying and young talent to put a shot and
- 8:42Speaker 10: scare into virtually any team here for this season. The
- 8:46Speaker 10: Krack and they're getting ready. After Monday nights where against
- 8:49Speaker 10: Chicago right here there, top line took care of business.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Chicago stop at the red line. Frank Nasar bomped off
- 8:57Speaker 3: the buck. Now everly he'll bring it in everly since.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Jordan Everley his.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Fifth goal the season, the Crocket get that insurance.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Goal back back up by a pair.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Three one, three fifty five left in the third.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Well, Frank Dazar just loses the pocket the center race
- 9:23Speaker 4: there and it's Jordan Eberty that picks it up. He's
- 9:26Speaker 4: Gonta two to one zero with Toven and on his
- 9:28Speaker 4: off Win sells that pass, get some of them just
- 9:31Speaker 4: to fight, just to fight a little bit, and beats
- 9:34Speaker 4: him club side down low three to one.
- 9:36Speaker 10: Cracking when you talk about kill lorenztinc That goal certainly
- 9:41Speaker 10: a benchmark of that. Where the Kraken open opened up
- 9:44Speaker 10: a tight game in two one and took this one
- 9:46Speaker 10: three to one over Chicago. Jordan Everley who scored that goal,
- 9:49Speaker 10: teaming with Matty Beniers each to get two points a
- 9:52Speaker 10: piece in that game. Plus also special teams making a
- 9:56Speaker 10: big impact of their own, the Kracking going one to
- 9:58Speaker 10: two in the man advantage and the PK letter solid
- 10:02Speaker 10: perfect three for three against Chicago. That plus Joey Decurt
- 10:06Speaker 10: putting together a pretty solid night twenty nine saves to
- 10:09Speaker 10: move the homestand now to two zero and two, but
- 10:12Speaker 10: the crack in their lineup remaining virtually the same. The
- 10:15Speaker 10: Corps back in net Matt Murray will back them up,
- 10:18Speaker 10: leading us here to our cracking story lines. First off,
- 10:20Speaker 10: it is their power play. They have scored goals in
- 10:22Speaker 10: three consecutive games. Can they keep this run going. It's
- 10:25Speaker 10: also against the San Jose team that has been struggling
- 10:28Speaker 10: in the penalty kill. The Sharks twenty ninth in the
- 10:31Speaker 10: league on the PK and on the road even worse
- 10:34Speaker 10: next to last eight goals allowed on twenty chances, so
- 10:38Speaker 10: potentially ripe opportunity here for those like Chandler Stevens said.
- 10:41Speaker 10: Maddy Veneers, Vince Dunn and Jordan Everley with three points
- 10:45Speaker 10: apiece to lead the crack and man advantage. Second story line,
- 10:49Speaker 10: home cooking cannot continue against San Jose at home. The
- 10:53Speaker 10: Cracking five wins in seven matchups here lifetime the Climbate
- 10:57Speaker 10: Pledge Arena, but offensively this season at home they have
- 11:00Speaker 10: been very solid. Twelve goals allowed, second in the league.
- 11:03Speaker 10: Only New Jersey has allowed less so far with nine
- 11:06Speaker 10: and despite the issues of creating offense, where the Kracken
- 11:10Speaker 10: have been a bit lagging, well can they pick that
- 11:12Speaker 10: up here? Against San Jose? The Sharks have given up
- 11:14Speaker 10: four goals a game that is tied for last. As
- 11:17Speaker 10: far as defense in the NHL. Third story line, Jordan
- 11:21Speaker 10: Eberly's in packed tonight Lane, Lambert recently showering him with praise,
- 11:25Speaker 10: saying he's quote a great captain end quote, He's got
- 11:28Speaker 10: five points last five games and coming off Monday against
- 11:31Speaker 10: Chicago that was the second multi point game of the season.
- 11:34Speaker 10: He'll be again back in the top line with Matty
- 11:36Speaker 10: Beniers as his center and Elie Tulbinen on the opposite wing.
- 11:40Speaker 10: Let's hear more from the Kraken and here's Chandler Stevenson
- 11:43Speaker 10: on the word consistency and why it matters in close games.
- 11:47Speaker 11: That's huge, you know, anytime you can hold a lead,
- 11:49Speaker 11: you know, when teams are pressing, kind of give it
- 11:52Speaker 11: back to them. When teams are pressing and you have
- 11:53Speaker 11: a lead, that's huge. And with consistency, it's just the
- 11:57Speaker 11: more you're in those situations and the more games you
- 12:00Speaker 11: win and points you kind of put in the bank
- 12:02Speaker 11: in certain situations, even coming back and getting a point
- 12:05Speaker 11: or two points, it's build confidence for the team. I mean,
- 12:08Speaker 11: it's a lot different when you know you're blowing every
- 12:11Speaker 11: lead and losing every game. Then you have no confidence
- 12:14Speaker 11: and you know you're just kind of waiting.
- 12:15Speaker 10: For it to happen, and you can certainly sense the
- 12:18Speaker 10: power play gaining confidence. And Stevenson said, continuous work on
- 12:21Speaker 10: that and has made a big difference so far.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I was saying earlier that.
- 12:25Speaker 11: I think every day since training camp and we kind
- 12:28Speaker 11: of finalized our roster, We've worked at it knowing where
- 12:30Speaker 11: guys are. Everybody kind of sticks with the same group.
- 12:33Speaker 11: There's not times or games that you're going through a
- 12:36Speaker 11: cold streak that you know, okay, well let's change the
- 12:38Speaker 11: power player, change this. You know you're going to have
- 12:40Speaker 11: those days. And the more you're with certain guys, the
- 12:43Speaker 11: more you know their tendenciason where they're going to be.
- 12:45Speaker 11: And it's kind of one mind with five guys. So
- 12:48Speaker 11: the more reps you get, the more fluid you are,
- 12:50Speaker 11: and the better you feel about it.
- 12:53Speaker 10: Krack and certainly have plenty of reps and playing in
- 12:55Speaker 10: close games this year, and only told then had an
- 12:57Speaker 10: observation on that saying and asked to do with the
- 13:00Speaker 10: essence of poise.
- 13:02Speaker 12: We just don't panic. You know, everybody knows what it takes.
- 13:06Speaker 12: You know, We've had a lot of those games this year,
- 13:08Speaker 12: and you know, we lost a couple in row and
- 13:12Speaker 12: we went through some uh some systems, and I feel
- 13:15Speaker 12: like right now we're just comfortable, you know, playing in
- 13:17Speaker 12: the lead, uh or even even coming from behind. I
- 13:19Speaker 12: think everybody knows what they expect to do and uh,
- 13:22Speaker 12: you know it's I think pretty easy to jump on
- 13:24Speaker 12: the ice when you know exactly what the coach want
- 13:26Speaker 12: from you.
- 13:27Speaker 10: So the crack and try to build on those principles
- 13:29Speaker 10: ahead of their first matchup with San Jose still missing
- 13:31Speaker 10: three players all on ir Ryker Evans upper body issue,
- 13:35Speaker 10: Freddie Goodreau upper body and Jared mccannon as well. Day today.
- 13:39Speaker 10: We'll come back in a bit and take a look
- 13:40Speaker 10: at San Jose after this. You're listening to the Global

- 16:21Speaker 18: Mapton Cina Brini off for tier Chefoony Piss a brilliant
- 16:25Speaker 18: rich shot Peats Blackwood and the Shark Chift time the
- 16:27Speaker 18: game on one on thirty nine ago in the first period,
- 16:31Speaker 18: and for cena Brini he has a seven game points
- 16:34Speaker 18: going streak.
- 16:36Speaker 10: Maclin Celebrini off to a tour start this season. That
- 16:39Speaker 10: call courtesy Dan Rusanowski and the Sharks Audio Network. In
- 16:42Speaker 10: the Sharks Corps, as Everett fits you just said recently
- 16:45Speaker 10: second youngest for a group in the NHL, of course,
- 16:48Speaker 10: led by Celebrini, arguably next rising star in this league.
- 16:52Speaker 10: Also with him Will Smith, William Ecklen, Michael Misa, and
- 16:55Speaker 10: defenseman Sam Dickinson right now stick and with their team
- 16:58Speaker 10: despite age eighteen, the question.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Could he stick?
- 17:02Speaker 10: It's looking pretty solid so far, coming off of what
- 17:05Speaker 10: was an ugly year maybe though by design last year
- 17:07Speaker 10: the Sharks finishing twenty fifty two and twelve eighth in
- 17:11Speaker 10: the Pacific Division. So how much more patience do they
- 17:14Speaker 10: have to ask here out of this team? They had
- 17:16Speaker 10: an aggressive offseason and among the additions Jeff Skinner, Adam Goadett,
- 17:20Speaker 10: Philip Korashev, John Klingberg, and Dimitriorlov, plus trading for Alex
- 17:25Speaker 10: n Dlkovich and Ryan Reeves, they're a team that can
- 17:28Speaker 10: put it they can put a scare into plenty of
- 17:30Speaker 10: teams as well. That's been proven. They beat the Rangers,
- 17:32Speaker 10: of course, six five back in October at Madison Square Garden,
- 17:36Speaker 10: celebrating five point game off of that, but they also
- 17:38Speaker 10: have wins in the bag over New Jersey and Colorado
- 17:41Speaker 10: as well, not to mention pushing Detroit to a shootout.
- 17:45Speaker 10: They'll losing that one three to two, with Sam Dickinson
- 17:48Speaker 10: picking up his first career NHL goal. Shark's lineup notes
- 17:52Speaker 10: Adam Goadett is back. He's been ALLUI since late October
- 17:54Speaker 10: upper body injury. No William Ecklund and missed a second
- 17:58Speaker 10: straight game to an upper body or a lower body ailment.
- 18:00Speaker 10: Michael Misa we've heard game time decision reports say if
- 18:04Speaker 10: he doesn't play, the Sharks could go eleven fours and seven.
- 18:07Speaker 10: Defenseman Vincent d Arnay left the candadate to step in
- 18:10Speaker 10: for that. Aeroslav Askarov as well will be in goal
- 18:13Speaker 10: for the Sharks. Their storylines. First off, the return of
- 18:17Speaker 10: the Mac. That's MacMan Celebrinian again. Some say best young
- 18:21Speaker 10: player that this game has seen, maybe since Sidney Crosby.
- 18:24Speaker 10: Eighteen points in thirteen games. That leads San Jose and
- 18:28Speaker 10: against the crack and he's been a handful five points
- 18:30Speaker 10: in four games head to head. Secondly, Philip Kurashev in
- 18:34Speaker 10: his hot start. He's owning a five game points scoring
- 18:36Speaker 10: streak eight points in that span, and he comes off
- 18:39Speaker 10: NHL Third Star of the Week honors. He's been playing
- 18:42Speaker 10: recently with Alex Wendberg, familiar face at center, and Adam
- 18:46Speaker 10: Gadette as well on the left wing. Let's hear more
- 18:49Speaker 10: from San Jose head coach Ryan Worzowski believes for his team,
- 18:53Speaker 10: there's only one way to play against the Kraken.
- 18:56Speaker 19: We got a chuck, you know, we gotta chuck.
- 18:58Speaker 1: We've got to hit people.
- 18:59Speaker 19: We've got to make sure we play through people in
- 19:00Speaker 19: the four, check through the nuta zone and our defensive zone.
- 19:04Speaker 19: I think that's where we lacked a lot. And against Detroit,
- 19:07Speaker 19: you know, we missed two chucks and nutras one ended
- 19:09Speaker 19: up the two goals. So before it even gets into
- 19:11Speaker 19: our defensive zone, there's ways we can check more to
- 19:15Speaker 19: slow teams down, and we need to do a better
- 19:16Speaker 19: job of that.
- 19:17Speaker 10: So the Shark's pledging a rugged approach out of the
- 19:20Speaker 10: Crackett answer, that's Everett upstairs al bench side to have

- 21:33Speaker 3: al Kaniski ringside the Crack and getting set to wrap
- 21:37Speaker 3: up this five game homestamp against the San Jose Sharks.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Coming off a three to one whim on Monday against
- 21:43Speaker 3: Chicago Al the Cracking would love to head into a
- 21:46Speaker 3: back to back this weekend with two extra points going
- 21:50Speaker 3: into Saint Louis in Dallas. How can they get it
- 21:52Speaker 3: done here tonight against Santose.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Well, first of all, they're gonna have to feed the
- 21:56Speaker 4: fore check. The Sharks don't like pressure. They crumbled it
- 21:59Speaker 4: like a Dale cookie. The Kraken need to get in fast,
- 22:03Speaker 4: get on bodies, and force bad decisions early. If Santose
- 22:06Speaker 4: starts panicking with a puck turnovles will pile up.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Like folding chairs at a church picnic.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Secondly, own the middle of the ice, Santose will try
- 22:15Speaker 4: to skate wide and avoid contact. So the Kraken need
- 22:18Speaker 4: to take away the middle and make them earn space,
- 22:22Speaker 4: strong sticks, tighter gaps, zero charity in the slot. If
- 22:26Speaker 4: the Sharks want to get anywhere near the net, they
- 22:28Speaker 4: need to bring a note from Mom and then third.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Punish the power play.
- 22:33Speaker 4: The Shark's power play is well, let's call it aspirational,
- 22:36Speaker 4: but the Kraken can't give them freebies to figure it out. Discipline,
- 22:40Speaker 4: clean clears, and if they get their power play rolling,
- 22:43Speaker 4: they can turn this from a hockey game.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Into a learning moment.
- 22:46Speaker 4: So really it's simple hit them early, clog the lanes,
- 22:49Speaker 4: and don't let them think they're a real threat.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Treat the Shark's confidence like a lawn. Mow it down regularly.
- 22:56Speaker 4: If the Kraken can execute, they'll build a lead against
- 22:58Speaker 4: the Sharks that won't acquire a bigger boat, and by
- 23:01Speaker 4: the end of the night, the deep should feel less lick.
- 23:04Speaker 1: A rink and more lick an abyss for San Jose. Hey,
- 23:07Speaker 1: it is Third Jersey night, y abyss.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Oh way kids here this evening for the second time,
- 23:12Speaker 3: crack and falling a couple of nights ago in overtime
- 23:16Speaker 3: in their first of eleven Third Jersey nights this season,
- 23:20Speaker 3: hoping for a different fate here tonight with the emergence
- 23:25Speaker 3: last game of Matti Beniars and Jordan Everley continuing what
- 23:29Speaker 3: they've what they've been able to do leading.
- 23:31Speaker 1: On the ice by example.
- 23:32Speaker 3: How important is it tonight for not only those guys
- 23:35Speaker 3: to be your best players, but also for maybe an
- 23:38Speaker 3: Eli tolbot In to step up and see if you
- 23:40Speaker 3: can get that games.
- 23:41Speaker 1: His first goal of the season.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Well, I think that's just itt and I think that's
- 23:44Speaker 4: why you're seeing them put on that line with Veniers
- 23:46Speaker 4: in every tonight is they're trying to unlock number twenty.
- 23:49Speaker 4: They know what he can do. They've seen it over
- 23:51Speaker 4: the past few seasons. For whatever reason, it's not going
- 23:53Speaker 4: in yet. You heard land Alert Lambert talk about other
- 23:55Speaker 4: things he done does well. I think he's second on
- 23:58Speaker 4: the team and hits right now already on the season
- 24:00Speaker 4: so far. You know he's gonna keep doing that. So
- 24:03Speaker 4: you get physicality on that line with Veneers and Eperly
- 24:05Speaker 4: and maybe you get him a goal as well.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Cragging have had some issues, some struggles with San Jose
- 24:11Speaker 3: in recent years. They were two and two last year
- 24:14Speaker 3: against the Sharks nine to six, and oh all time
- 24:17Speaker 3: against San Jose. This team, they're young, they're talented, they're raw.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Even though the results aren't there, this is a team
- 24:25Speaker 3: that is starting to finally come together. This is not
- 24:28Speaker 3: going to be a night to overlook from the other
- 24:31Speaker 3: side if you're Seattle.
- 24:32Speaker 1: No, definitely not.
- 24:33Speaker 4: And much like you talk about, you know Everly and
- 24:35Speaker 4: Matty Benier's this Tafoli Celebrinian Smith line.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah, as they go, this team goes and you know
- 24:40Speaker 1: they're gonna go hard.
- 24:41Speaker 4: You know, we heard Berkeley Catton talk about Macklin Celebrini's
- 24:45Speaker 4: compete level, whether it's on the ice or off the ice,
- 24:48Speaker 4: he wants to compete and everything, and I think that
- 24:50Speaker 4: that breeds across the entire team when you've got a
- 24:52Speaker 4: top one centerman doing that.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Al, you're downstairs tonight, what are you looking forward to
- 24:58Speaker 3: the most about your first game?
- 25:01Speaker 1: In between the benches? How are those extremities? Are you cold?
- 25:04Speaker 15: Are you warm?
- 25:05Speaker 1: What are you gonna be looking at?
- 25:06Speaker 3: How do you see this game going from compared to
- 25:10Speaker 3: where you normally are up here with me?
- 25:11Speaker 4: Well, I'll tell you I've seen more hockey games at
- 25:13Speaker 4: this level than I have from that level, so it
- 25:15Speaker 4: feels very normal to me. But you know, we you
- 25:18Speaker 4: and I talk about how slow the game looks from
- 25:20Speaker 4: up there, like why couldn't you see that guy in
- 25:22Speaker 4: the past, So now I'm getting a chance to see
- 25:24Speaker 4: if I can see that guy from down here, So
- 25:26Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to that.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Well, remember out you're broadcasting tonight, you're not playing, So please.

- 28:15Speaker 10: Kraken and Sharks getting set for their first matchup of
- 28:18Speaker 10: the season. Lane Lambert's got more here the Crackenhead coach
- 28:20Speaker 10: standing blind with ever fits you.
- 28:23Speaker 24: Thanks, Mike back with Crackenhead Coach Lane Lambert big three
- 28:26Speaker 24: to one win over Chicago two nights ago. You got
- 28:28Speaker 24: back to what has made this team successful. You challenge
- 28:31Speaker 24: the team to shoot the puck more. We saw more
- 28:34Speaker 24: shots on net against the Blackhawks. Take us through that
- 28:36Speaker 24: sixty minutes for your team.
- 28:37Speaker 25: Yeah, I thought we did a lot a lot of
- 28:40Speaker 25: good things in that game. Defended hard, you know when
- 28:44Speaker 25: it started there spent last time in Arizona. We've actually
- 28:47Speaker 25: spent less time in Arizona over the last two games,
- 28:49Speaker 25: and we're kind of cleaning that area up that we
- 28:52Speaker 25: know we had to and have to and we'll continue.
- 28:55Speaker 1: To progress to.
- 28:56Speaker 25: And I thought, you know, from an offensive standpoint, I
- 28:58Speaker 25: thought we transitioned the pretty well. We had some you know,
- 29:02Speaker 25: some really good opportunities, and you know, we took advantage
- 29:07Speaker 25: of the ones that we needed to, I guess you
- 29:09Speaker 25: could say, and scratched out a victory.
- 29:13Speaker 24: It's a very small sample size, but this season, when
- 29:15Speaker 24: you've challenged the team after efforts that you've not been
- 29:19Speaker 24: happy with, to be better, we've seen this team rise
- 29:23Speaker 24: to the occasion. What does it say about your group,
- 29:25Speaker 24: your coaching, your coaches on this team as well, that
- 29:28Speaker 24: they're able to take that message and apply it, you know,
- 29:31Speaker 24: and sometimes less than forty eight hours later for positive results.
- 29:35Speaker 25: Well, the thing about it is is that it says
- 29:37Speaker 25: to me, they're taking ownership of it because you know, I,
- 29:41Speaker 25: let's be let's be honest. If they don't play well,
- 29:44Speaker 25: they know they don't play well, and they're not happy
- 29:46Speaker 25: about it either. My job is to let them know
- 29:48Speaker 25: they didn't play well and to find solutions for them
- 29:51Speaker 25: to be better the next night. And they've been embracing that.
- 29:55Speaker 25: But at the end of the day, they're the ones
- 29:56Speaker 25: that are responsible for, you know, taking that mess and
- 30:00Speaker 25: putting it into play.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And you know, it's it's been good.
- 30:03Speaker 25: It's been good to see our leadership group take ownership
- 30:06Speaker 25: of that.
- 30:07Speaker 10: Das Laine Lambert, your lineups are next. You're listening to
