And then I am going to give you specific actionable tips that you can implement in your life right here, right now. And so make sure you stick around for the tips at the end of the episode because after that. I have something really exciting that I am going to offer you if you are looking for more support as you are moving through this breakup. All right, y'all. Let's get started. So I have had quite a tumultuous relationship with love throughout my entire life. And so I found myself on the feminine embodiment dating side of Instagram. I even hired a dating coach off of this app. I was talking with this dating coach about boundaries and standards and how to present as a high value woman to attract provider men. Okay. I was meeting with this woman like on a bi weekly basis. And as I'm meeting with her, I attracted another man into my life. And this man seemed different than all of the rest. He was very actively pursuing me. Like I'm talking about doing things that were over the top, y'all. He was planning weekend getaways for us, cooking me dinner where I didn't have to lift a finger, giving me money to get my nails done and to buy a new outfit for the festival that he bought tickets for us to go to together. When I arrived at the festival, he had told everybody there how in love he was with me and how happy that I was there as his guest. it just felt so good to be wanted and to be chosen and to have no confusion as to if this guy liked me or not. He was very clear, he was very consistent, and he was doing everything he could to show me that he cared about me. And I didn't even sleep with him for the first month. Okay. That was like a new thing for me because typically I was just, you know, having sex with men right away. And so I was really trying to listen to the advice of my dating coach and do things differently and entertain this courting process. And so after one month of courting, he asked me to be his partner. At this festival, as we were in front of this giant fire ceremony, and literal sparks were flying in the air, I was head over heels and I enthusiastically said yes because I had finally got what I wanted, which was being in a committed partnership. With a man who was really in his masculine energy and who was protecting and providing for me, like my dating coach had said that he was supposed to. Well, from the moment I said yes, moving forward, things began to shift and rather quickly, okay? a few months went by and the relationship became less and less fulfilling for both of us. And we had a big trip planned to a music festival down in Florida. And we were already kind of both on our last leg here. I was feeling exhausted for picking up so much slack Due to his limited capacity. And he was feeling exhausted by me because he felt like he couldn't keep up with the things that I needed to maintain a connection within the relationship. And so we're standing at the music festival on Halloween. And he decides to do drugs. And after he does drugs, I swear to God, things just got so Bad. He had a mental breakdown full out where he ended up screaming and throwing things at the campsite and was punching the walls of the inside of our van for like two days, y'all. Two days, full out manic episode. And I am just sitting there doing nothing. I literally went into a Complete fawn state where I was pretty much just trying to take care of him and make sure that he was okay, making him food and trying to calm him down, trying to talk to him, trying to provide emotional support and care. And he wasn't having any of it. He was just having a complete emotional episode. To the point where he packed up all of his shit, threw it in the van, and drove away from the festival, never to be seen again. And I was shocked and heartbroken and sad and angry and just feeling so many emotions. I literally cried so hard that I got a sty in my eye. And then I had to get home from Florida all by myself. So I went to a rental car place, got a van, put all of my shit in the van, and started driving back home to New York by myself. because it was a long drive, I wanted to take my time and stay somewhere that was halfway. I had always wanted to go to Asheville, North Carolina. And so I decided to book a hotel there because there was an Ayurveda and yoga school that I had always wanted to attend. I look up the yoga schedule for the school that I wanted to visit. And lo and behold, the first class the next morning was yoga for 12-step recovery. And I Freaking broke down crying. I lost it because I knew that I needed to attend that class. And I knew that I needed to get sober and to stop doing drugs and to stop partying and to take a long, hard look at myself to understand why. That relationship had started on such a high high and then ended on such a low low just four months later. And so that's what I did, y'all. I attended that yoga for 12-step recovery class in Asheville, North Carolina. And then I found a yoga center in Niagara Falls, Canada, which is right near where I live in Buffalo, New York. And they offered yoga for 12-step recovery as well. And I went there every Monday for months. I did not miss a session and I committed to my sobriety because through that experience of him going through that manic episode at the festival and me just doing nothing, the feeling in my body felt so familiar to me. Like I had been in that situation before. It was like something from my childhood. That I hadn't experienced in a really long time. And so, because of that feeling, I decided to dig more into my past and into healing my trauma. And I found a somatic therapist who helped me decode the emotions and sensations that come from my body. To rewire my nervous system and have better relationships. I found a spiritual teacher who taught me all about womb energetics and the true power that I hold as a woman. I met a manifestation coach who taught me about identity work and how to change my beliefs about myself so that I could start to attract different types of men into my life. And I joined a dance team that literally helped me get over my fear of being seen and step out on stage as a performer, which is something that I had always wanted to do throughout my entire life, but had been too scared to pursue. And so today I literally host this podcast. I perform. I teach workshops and classes about women's embodiment and yoga and sensuality and somatics. I'm still in my somatic therapy program, and I have the most intimate and connective relationships that I have ever had in my life, y'all. We are now on episode 18 of this podcast, and it has over 19,000 views. And now I am Priestess Paradise Rain, who hosts Pussy Power Activation Intensives to help other women come out on the other side after going through a breakup hotter and sexier and more confident and more sure of themselves than they have ever been in their whole entire motherfucking life. Yes, I am telling you guys, I used that. Horrible low low of that breakup to literally catapult me into my next level greatness. And so without further ado, let's talk about the tips that I used to help me do this so that you can do the same thing as you are moving forward from this pivotal moment in your life. The first tip I'm gonna say is that all relationships are mirrors. So a lot of people like to blame their ex. well, that person was such a piece of shit. I can't believe they did this to me. People love to point the finger. So, you know, let's point the finger for a second. What I want you to do is I want you to write down a list. Of all the things about your ex that piss you off. All of the things that you hate about them, all of the things that they did bad to you. I want you to get really specific because chances are right now you're feeling a lot of anger and sadness and resentment over this breakup. So let's process it through writing. Then What I want you to do is, I want you to use these qualities as a mirror to look at yourself. Okay. So this is the part that not a lot of people like to do, but I'm telling you, it is gonna be the most worthwhile thing you will ever do in your life because y'all were a perfect match for each other in some respect. And so what in you Allowed this person to do these things to you And so, for example, in my relationship, right, this man was going so over the top for me during the courting phase. in the moment, it seemed nice, it seemed normal, it seemed like how things should be. But when I take a step back and look at it, he was really love bombing. And it was coming from a place of lack within him. Because he was desperate to prove himself to me, to gain access to me. But it was also coming from a place of lack within myself because I was so desperate to be chosen and to be wanted. And now that is kind of an ugly thing to realize about yourself, right? Like, ooh, I was really desperate. But you know what? Through admitting my own desperation, I can now work on making my life so full and so complete that when I go into a relationship, well, that other person is just going to be adding to all of the wonderful things that I already have going on, as opposed to. Me choosing them from a state of lack, you see, and so every quality that you have on that list that you don't like about your partner is a really good way to find something out about yourself If you are able to be brave and look at the parts of yourself that you don't like. But I'm telling you, this will catapult you into your next level greatness faster than anything else. Tip number two, you need to be more selfish and you need to be more self-obsessed and you need to focus on honoring your desires. Because if you were in a relationship for a long time, or if you found yourself in one of those on again, off again situationships. Chances are you were compromising on a lot. Chances are you were abandoning your own wants, needs, and desires to receive love. And this is a big problem within our society, especially for women, because we're taught that asking for what we want makes us a bitch. And I'm saying right now, babe, this does not make you a bitch. You are absolutely a hundred and ten percent allowed to honor your desires. And so, my suggestion to you is to think about things that you love to do. For me, I love dance, I love fashion, I love eating food, I love going to the beach. These simple pleasures in life just make me feel more like myself than anything else. And so after the breakup, I really decided to dive in. Head first on my passions and my hobbies, I joined a dance team that was something I had wanted to do for a really long time, but it was totally outside of my comfort zone. I also decided to take my passion of fashion into my everyday life by doing a 30-day fashion challenge. And this helped me come home to my authentic self-expression. Every day I was making a choice about what I wanted. And so these are just a couple of examples from my life, but you really need to think about what do I like? What do I want? What do I want to do? What fills my cup? Become selfish, become self-obsessed. And sure enough, you are gonna go through a glow-up in record time because you are honoring your authentic expression. And after a breakup, I am telling you, that is one of the most healing things that you could possibly do. And finally, tip three. Reach out for support, okay? Because chances are, again, you are feeling a lot of big feelings. And this is so valid. And we shouldn't have to go through those emotions alone. I told you after I had that all time low I found myself at a yoga for 12 step recovery class. And I committed to going to Yoga for 12 Step Recovery every Monday, where I would meet with other people who were struggling with addiction, and we would talk and we would form community. And that became a really big support system in my life. I joined a somatic therapy program that I am still in today. And I also joined a program with a spiritual guide. Who taught me about womb energetics and women's empowerment. You see, I invested a lot of money into myself to receive mentorship from women who were in a place that I wanted to be. These women had walked the path before me, and I Knew that through being in their energy field and absorbing their teachings, that I could be more like them and that I could come out of this breakup on the other side as a more embodied and confident woman. And that is exactly what has happened. So don't do this alone. Reach out to friends, reach out to family members. And reach out to some type of mentor for support. I don't care who it is, It could be a therapist, it could be your local AA chapter, it could be a spiritual mentor or guide. Just find someone Who has qualities that you admire and who has walked this path before you so that they can help you come out on the other side. And so with that being said, I wanted to talk about a new audio course that I have just created entitled The Post Breakup Goddess Glow Up. Yes, Because after going through this journey and working with all different mentors and teachers and guides, and now coming out on the other side I wanted to compile all of the teachings that I have received into one place. And so this course is a Telegram audio course that is designed. To help you set sexy standards that stick so you can become a match for devoted love. Yes, because you probably found that you were compromising in your previous relationship. And as you are coming back to yourself after going through this breakup. In order to have a hot sexy glow up, contrary to popular belief, you don't have to lose weight. You don't have to go on some crazy diet. You don't need Botox or cosmetic procedures. And you most definitely do not need to start updating your hinge bio to attract provider men online. Okay. Because if you were just in a long-term low effort relationship or an on-again, off again situationship, well, then that won't work for you, anyways. Trust me, I have worked with dating coaches online that literally got me into that crazy four month crash and burn relationship where I completely abandon myself and my wants and my needs and my desires. And so that is why I created this. Course for women like me who can't just work on the list of boundaries and standards. Like if you write the list of boundaries and standards in your journal over and over and over again, but then when you get into a relationship dynamic, you end up throwing it all out the window. Well, then this course is for you because I don't talk about the surface level bullshit that all the other dating coaches are talking about. I am talking about the dark feminine wisdom of womb energetics and male dating psychology. Yes, these things run our subconscious mind beneath our awareness and silently impact all of our relationship dynamics. And so that is what the post-breakup goddess glow-up audio course is all about. Telling you the glow up that I have gone through and that you have seen has nothing to do with my physical body or my conscious mind. No, it all has to do with my nervous system and my subconscious mind. So if you've just gone through a breakup, this is the perfect way to fast track your healing so that you can come out on the other side being the version of you that you have always been destined to be. just because the relationship ended doesn't mean that this is the end. No, it is actually the beginning. And by following the tips that I have given you in this episode, You are going to be well on your way to having more intimate and fulfilling relationships for the long term by using that breakup as a mirror, by being more selfish and pouring your energy into your hobbies and desires. And through receiving support, whether it be from a mentor in your community or from me, when you join the post breakup goddess glow up audio course, you can find the link in the description of today's episode.
