- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Alright, guys, welcome back to another episode of the podcast.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: This is another requested one, and that is the emotions that have to do with poor gut health, how to fix it, parasites.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna be diving.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna I'm gonna call this a mini sode, but we know that I get on my tangents and explaining things.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna try to keep this short and sweet, but you know, I got a lot of information to share.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: So what are we gonna do?
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: So let's go ahead and dive in.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: When food reaches the stomach, I'm we're gonna go through kind of like the stomach, we're gonna go through all the digestive organs and kind of things that are tied with it, so you can get a really good sense of what emotions you might need to work on or release, um, etc.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: So food comes in, reaches the stomach.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Feelings that are common in disrupting how your stomach functions are needs that cannot be met.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: So disgust, feeling deprived, angry, disappointment, and constant worry.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Know that the stomach in Chinese medicine, the stomach meridian is paired with the spleen meridian, which represents obsessive worry.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: So if you're fine, you're always worried about things, always stressing about things.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: A, we gotta work on your spleen, but we gotta work on your spleen and stomach, because these meridians are where you're gonna hold things.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: So this is gonna show up as dyspepsia, reflux, bloating, gas, trouble-absorbing nutrients, leaky gut, all of this stuff.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: And of course, yes, there are physical things, but this episode I'm really focusing on the emotions and poor gut health.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: So go listen to the other episodes on gut health that have to do with more of a physical explanation, though the emotions are still physical, don't get me wrong.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: But you guys know what I mean, more of like the clean foods, etc.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: So then as food comes down, two streams of digestive fluids come in.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: So one stream is bile, which is created by the liver, which has been stored in the gallbladder, and it's basically released in response to food as it goes and makes its way down to your small intestine.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Now, the liver is so important, it is one of the major filtering and detoxifying organs.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: It helps to process viruses and pathogens, physical and emotional.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: And you might people say, like, oh, but you don't need a liver detox, your liver detoxes naturally.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: However, in our day and age, there are people with sluggish livers because their liver is not detoxing properly because they're still eating gluten and refined sugar.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Perhaps they've been on lots of antibiotics or they've been on the pill for a long period of time.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: They're not processing their emotions, which we will get into which ones in a second for the liver, but they're not processing these specific emotions that have to do with the liver.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Plus, those just add in pollution.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're also eating out of plastics.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Like there's just maybe you're also using toxic beauty products like dove, ole, pantene, and all that crap.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: So your liver gets, yes, it does detox naturally.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: However, oh let's also mention hormones.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Maybe you have some excess hormones, PCOS, endo, etc., that your liver's not metabolizing through.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: So it has a lot, it has a big job to detoxify, yes.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: And yes, it detoxes naturally.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: However, if you are putting too much stuff in the pipe for it to detox, it just gets backlogged and gets sluggish.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: So when it comes to emotions, the liver holds a great deal of repressed anger.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: If you are telling me, live, but I'm not angry, you're angry.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: I can, I think this happened to me three times last week when someone told me I'm not an angry person, I don't get angry.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: That is a red flag.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: That is like a warning sign, like, oh my god, we need to release anger more.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Because at least if you told me you were angry, the anger is coming out at some point.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: If you say you're not an angry person, you need to do anger release even more, right?
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: So a great deal of repressed anger is in the liver, depression, lack of will or lack of motivation for like life things.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: So this kind of like pulls into the depression and putting others first, which can sound good and bad, but putting others first in a way where you do not prioritize yourself enough, and this would look like poor boundaries.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: This looks like people pleasing, this looks like staying in toxic relationships or friendships that do not serve you.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: This all affects your liver.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: So, like, let's just take one small example.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: You having shitty friends clogs your liver, makes you constipated and breaking out and have poor gut health because your liver's not detoxifying as it should, and then you're so bloated.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: So, do you see how like you having poor boundaries or people pleasing or staying in toxic relationships makes you have poor gut health and breakout and oh and hormonal issues too?
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Because liver's liver does so much.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: So that's just like one small example.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Alright, so then let's think of the other stream, right?
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Because we had one of them, which was um created by the liver, and the other one, which is the gallbladder.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: The gallbladder stores feelings of bitterness and resentment.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: So to remove the gallbladder does not remove the feelings, unfortunately.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: The feelings are normally then expressed in other parts of the body.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: So when we think about where we are bitter and resent, this could be bitterness or resentment for parents, for friendships that happened in the past or ex-relationships.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: This is all stored in your gallbladder.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Your gallbladder releases bile that enables you to digest things properly.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Your bitterness and resentment that you hold on, whether it is parents or your ex, is making you bloated.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Like it's full stop.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: So you need to remember like this is all things you need to start.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: I want to plant all these seeds for you so you can be like, oh shoot.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I actually have a lot to release.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Like, let me go see live, right?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: So start really thinking about everything that I'm mentioning.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: So let's move on.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: The pancreas.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Similar feelings arise in the pancreas, which is the pancreas is there to aid digestion.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: I mean it does other things, but we're focusing on digestion in the gut in this episode, right?
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: So when malfunctioning, it is storing emotional pain and refusing to enjoy.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So, what does that mean?
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: If you do are if you're not getting lots of pleasure in life, if you're not feeling lit up, your pancreas is holding on to emotional pain, which is oftentimes when people are not allowing themselves to have an emotional release or allowing themselves to go into the pain, this is gonna arise in the pancreas, and this is gonna affect your digestion.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: It's gonna affect other things too, because it's your pancreas, but we're gonna we're keeping on digestion for this episode.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Alright, so then we go into the small intestine.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to take a break from this podcast episode to let you guys know that I'm doing something new this month.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: And for those of you who leave a review, or if you've left a review already and you share an episode of the podcast to your stories and tag me on Instagram.

- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Every single person who does this will just get that sent to their email.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: So take a screenshot, tag me, um, and you will receive this little free gift from me.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: It is my gift to you for sharing this podcast, sharing an episode that you love that resonated.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: Um, and if I've helped your life in any way with this podcast, whether I've said, you know, one thing that has shifted your perspective or changed, I would so so appreciate you sharing.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: And yeah, this is my little gift to you.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: And with that, let's get back to the episode.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Small intestine is where nutrients kind of come together, and you might be eating the right food, and this is what's so important, but you're not able to really assimilate and absorb it.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: The same applies to life.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: So this means a lack of joy, sorrow, sadness, and also indecisiveness.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: So, all of that is where your small intestine is gonna kind of hold on to it.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: And then we get things like gas, bloating, leaky gut, constipation, diarrhea, depending on what um is the root of that.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Um, for example, like constipation is you not letting go.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: That constipation is a giant sign that you have way too much emotional baggage backed up, and we need to do some release.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Um, and diarrhea is actually rejection, so you need to look at where you're being rejected in life.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of like how you move through all of those things, going all the way to the small intestine.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: I'm also gonna note that fear, fear is big for the small, in a degree, um, the large intestine, fear of success, fear of power, fear of not being enough, fear of being too much, fear of the future, fear of the past, so much, right?
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: There's fear that gets held throughout your digestive system, but mainly mainly in the small intestine and also a little bit in your stomach.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: So just knowing that like fear is depleting you of your life source, fear is like the worst.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: If there's one thing we need to release, it's definitely fear.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: All right, so moving from the small intestine to the large.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: So before the small intestine goes into the large intestine, there's a little valve that allows food or like waste, I guess.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: By the time you get there, it's like waste to move in, right?
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: It's a little sphincter which opens and closes kind of like a camera lens, right?
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: To allow the contents from the small intestine to go into the large and then to prevent things from backing up and you have a bowel movement, right?
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: So when this little transition is not working properly, you get things like bloating, allergies, abdominal pain, constipation, um, diarrhea, gut flora disturbances, headaches, you know, joint pain, it moves on to more than just um diagnostic stuff, also like ringing the ears.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Now, the problems that can trigger this like sticking or this valve not to work is like poisoning yourself emotionally and holding on to old patterns that are destructive or self-destructive and very rigid, and not letting go of the past, which fosters a deeper hidden bitterness.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: So, you not doing the work and holding on to those old patterns and self-destructing and self-sabotaging all the time makes this valve not work properly and it sticks, and it can stick open or it can stick closed.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Either way, it causes all these things that I just said, along with like migraines, headaches, and body pain.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: So you want to make sure this valve is working.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: So, what do you need to do?
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: You need to let go of old patterns, you need to let go of being rigid, and you need to sell stop self-sabotaging if you want to heal your gut, and also let go of that deep hidden bitterness, right?
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: But the bitterness is also tied to the other organs we were discussing too.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: So they kind of all play on each other.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: So then let's say we get all the way here in the valve, it's great.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: We go into the large intestine, which is the last stage before elimination.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: This is probably one of the more basic ones.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: It is holding on to things that are no longer needed.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Along with guilt and lack of self-worth.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: If you are constipated, there is guilt, not letting go, and lack of self-worth.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: If you have trouble with bowel movements, um, this can be diarrhea, this can be, or if you go between the two, or gas or bloating, you need to work on your large intestine as well.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: Because this is where so much guilt and lack of self-worth is held.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: And I do so much work on people's emotional health with the large intestine that like you do not neglect this one because this one is a major one.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: So, what do you need to do?
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: How are you gonna fix it?
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: A listen.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: Each symptom is a sign, a messenger.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: It tells you what is out of balance.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: Like if you're having issues with your stomach, well, now we know like what emotions we're looking for, right?
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Or we're looking for disgust, we're looking at feeling deprived, we're looking at constant worry.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: So you're like, okay, where am I constantly being worried, right?
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: You want you want to listen.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Actually, well, asking is the second step.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: So let's stay on the first one, which is listen.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: Listen and trust the information that is telling you.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Your body is constantly communicating with you and telling you.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: You just have to listen and then ask.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: So number two would be ask.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: So that's asking, all right, what feelings can I release, you know, so that I can receive in this moment?
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: What information do I need to know to heal?
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And like meditate on these answers.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: You know, what messages is your body sending you through these symptoms?
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: The stomach ones, okay.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: I'm constantly worrying.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: What do I feel like I'm worrying about?
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: Well, I feel like I'm worrying about everything.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: All right, let's identify oh, you're worrying about work, relationships, whatever it is, let's break it down.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Worrying the state of the world, worrying about money, worrying about where are we worrying?
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: That's just like one example for the stomach, right?
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: And depending on the durations of the symptoms, this may take you time to unpack.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Of course, I can unfold this for you quite rapidly, but you can also start to look at it yourself and even go far back.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: So when people come to me and they're like, oh, I've had stomach issues since I was a kid, you probably were worrying about something then.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: Were you worrying about mom and dad?
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Did mom and dad used to fight a lot?
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: Um, did mom and dad like have financial stuff and they were you always overheard them about money and they had lots of money worries, and so you absorb that worry, right?
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Really start to think about this.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, the third thing is to to shift, right?
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: Because you've listened to your body's wisdom, you've asked for answers.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: Now it is time to shift this knowledge into deep healing.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: You are literally transmuting the pain so you can make space for beauty, grace, health, harmony, and peace in your life.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: So if you've been storing fear in your belly, you need to call upon courage and belief to release that.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: If you have been storing scarcity mindset, you know, call upon abundance.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: If you've been storing low self-worth, you gotta call upon love, right, for yourself, right?
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: There are many ways to like shift a physical manifestation of like this emotional imbalance, but you need to take like these practical steps first in order to be able to shift them.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: So I hope you found this insightful.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: I hope this gave you an idea of exactly what emotions are fucking up your gut health.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'll call it the episode that which emotions are fucking up your gut health.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: It's very, very keep up with live.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: But really ask yourself all these things, and then you can start to pinpoint at least what emotions they are, and then if you want to release them, you guys know where I am.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: So, with that being said, I hope you enjoyed this episode, and I will see you guys in the next one.
