**THIS is BIG!** 🦍🦍 Breaking SILVER + Stock Market NEWS - Precious Metals · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
Big warning for silver, big warning about the general
• 0:04
economy. But before we do that, welcome
• 0:07
to the basement. We are the basement dwellers.
• 0:10
We believe in the future of gold and silver because we understand
• 0:16
the past, we understand history, and we understand basic
• 0:21
mathematics. But what is going on today?
• 0:23
An incredible day, in particular in the silver market.
• 0:26
Let's go out and take a look and see what people are saying, the
• 0:30
reason behind this big, big move that we're having so far in
• 0:35
silver. And then I got a big warning for
• 0:37
you as well. But let's run out and take a
• 0:39
look at the price right now in silver.
• 0:43
As you can see from our friends at Kitco, this is the spot.
• 0:48
Wow, We are up $5.41, almost 7% in silver.
• 0:55
Now yesterday and over the weekend, I told you I thought
• 0:58
that we could see $8583 silver by next weekend and that I would
• 1:03
eat crow if I was wrong. I had no anticipation that this
• 1:07
would happen so quickly. And that's why I want to give
• 1:10
you a bit of a warning. Guys, remember silver is
• 1:14
volatile and what we've experienced here during last
• 1:17
week and today so far is what's called upward volatility.
• 1:22
There will be downward volatility as well.
• 1:24
Hey, don't get me wrong, I believe, you know, I believe in
• 1:28
505 thousand $50,000 silver in the future.
• 1:32
I want the price to go up and I believe it will continue to go
• 1:35
up, but there will be volatility.
• 1:37
Days like today are a lot of fun.
• 1:40
Yes, absolutely. But there will be days where
• 1:43
we'll have big down red numbers as well.
• 1:45
But forget about that. Let's enjoy today.
• 1:47
What do you say? And let's go see what Tavi Costa
• 1:50
has to say about what's happening right now.
• 1:54
And then I'll give you the other reason that I'm hearing why
• 1:57
we're having this big move. Tavi says this.
• 2:00
Oops, I was told the silver bubble burst two months ago.
• 2:05
Remember that? January 28th and that it was
• 2:08
never coming back. That view failed to understand a
• 2:13
simple reality. Commodities never peak when the
• 2:17
structural demand is rising, while both current and future
• 2:21
  supply remain heavily constrained.
• 2:23
And we're going to look at some numbers later that are going to
• 2:26
blow your mind about that, in particular with silver.
• 2:29
It's a classic misunderstanding of a long neglected sector of
• 2:33
the market. You got that right, game on.
• 2:36
And of course, there's the wedge pattern that we've looked at ad
• 2:39
nauseam. And just for fun, we'll circle
• 2:43
this right here that we have indeed broken out.
• 2:47
Now, guys, look, I'll tell you what I'm going to bang the table
• 2:50
about. We got something exciting from
• 2:52
the smartest guy out there, not just in the precious metal
• 2:56
sector, but the but the traditional mainstream financial
• 3:00
services sector. Also, Jeffrey Gunlock said
• 3:03
something that can make us feel great about gold and silver, not
• 3:07
just for the next month, year, but let's say decade.
• 3:11
And it's something that corroborates what we've been
• 3:13
talking about down here in the basement for the last six weeks.
• 3:17
And it all has to do with inflation.
• 3:20
It's going to be a glorious decade ahead.
• 3:22
I want to read you what Jeffrey said and how it relates directly
• 3:26
to what we've been talking about.
• 3:28
Business Insider, the bond king. Jeffrey Gunlock, if you don't
• 3:33
know who he is, go check him out.
• 3:36
He is like the dude, the man, right?
• 3:38
He rarely speaks. Often times they beg him to come
• 3:42
on things like CNBC, the Wall Street Journal.
• 3:45
Now, here's what he says. He says no rate cuts are coming.
• 3:49
And oh, my gosh, no rate cuts. Jeffrey, what?
• 3:53
And investors should load up on cash, gold and real assets.
• 3:58
That would include silver as well.
• 4:01
All right, let's go down here. Jeff thinks an investor should
• 4:04
load up on cash and gold. He's updated his investing
• 4:08
playbook to include a 20% allocation to cash and hard
• 4:13
assets. The recommendation is fueled in
• 4:17
part by his expectation for no rate cuts in 2026.
• 4:21
We're going to talk about that, OK.
• 4:23
He's warning investors about jumping into the risk on trade.
• 4:28
Now this is where it gets interesting.
• 4:29
Let's keep going down. Thank you Northern Trust for
• 4:33
that great advertisement. Legendary Fixed income investor
• 4:37
and CIO of Double Line Capital recommended investors load up on
• 4:41
cash, gold and other real assets in their portfolios.
• 4:44
Speaking to Bloomberg this week, he pointed to a handful of risk
• 4:48
he saw looming over stocks and other risk assets, namely the
• 4:53
risk that the Fed could hike rates rather than cut them.
• 4:57
So wait, why is he saying the Fed could hike rates but you
• 5:00
should still buy gold and other real assets like silver?
• 5:05
Gunlock, a long time bear who's repeatedly warned of hotter
• 5:09
  inflation. Oh, that's interesting.
• 5:11
And the US dollar eroding in value pointed to expectations at
• 5:17
the start of the year that the central bank would issue two or
• 5:21
three rate cuts by the end of 2026.
• 5:25
OK, let's pull this all together.
• 5:28
OK? Jeffrey Gunlock, read about him.
• 5:32
I won't say it again. He's the man.
• 5:34
OK is saying that we're likely not going to get rate cuts.
• 5:37
Oh my gosh. Oh, my gosh.
• 5:39
That's bad for gold and silver. No.
• 5:40
Wrong, wrong, wrong. He's actually saying that we
• 5:43
could have some rate hikes. What is most importantly he is
• 5:47
saying is that inflation is going to take off.
• 5:51
There's two components to the real interest rate calculation.
• 5:56
Everybody all the, all the sheeple, they all focused on the
• 6:02
Fed in the interest rates, right?
• 6:04
All the feds got to cut rates for gold to go up, for silver to
• 6:07
  go up. Wrong.
• 6:08
  OK. Because there's another
• 6:10
component of that calculation called inflation, like Jeffrey
• 6:14
Gunlock understands, like we understand, OK, And inflation,
• 6:18
while interest rates can only get cut 1 or 2% Max inflation
• 6:24
can go up 5%, ten percent, 20%, 100% hyperinflation.
• 6:30
That's the most critical component that's going to
• 6:34
determine the value of gold and silver over the next 10 years.
• 6:38
I will continue to beat the table.
• 6:41
We did it with it. We did it with stagflation,
• 6:44
right, two years ago, and that came true.
• 6:46
And look where we are, guys. Over the next 10 years, the only
• 6:51
thing we got to keep an eye on is inflation.
• 6:54
And Jeffrey Gunlock essentially said that same thing.
• 6:57
Interest rates can go up, inflation will go up more, okay?
• 7:02
They can raise interest rates. Inflation can go up a lot more
• 7:06
and buy gold, okay, And real assets.
• 7:09
He didn't say silver, but I think it's safe to say that
• 7:12
silver is a real, real asset. More exciting news in the world
• 7:17
of silver. We talked about this yesterday,
• 7:19
but there's something else when it comes to comparing the price
• 7:24
of silver to the S&P 500. The silver to SPX ratio is
• 7:28
primed OK to outperform. Let's pull this up again, guys.
• 7:34
What this shows is, is that the price of silver as compared to
• 7:39
the S&P 500 as you can, But there's something cool on here
• 7:43
we're going to point out. As you can see over here, we're
• 7:46
currently at point O1 with silver at what, $8485 per oz in
• 7:52
the S&P 500 at 7400. That this ratio has changed a
• 7:57
little bit today, but it's probably .11 literally an ounce
• 8:01
of silver represents 1% of 1 unit of the S&P 500.
• 8:07
That did get is high back here in 1980 is .45 almost 1/2,
• 8:14
right, which would mean if we got to that point today, we
• 8:17
would be at $3700 silver. That's not the point.
• 8:20
The point is this, look at this chart, OK, do you see?
• 8:25
Well, just look the lines already there, that blue line we
• 8:30
are in a cup and handle on this chart as well.
• 8:35
And if we break out, right, if we go up to just .1 on this
• 8:41
chart from where we are, that would be about right here, OK.
• 8:45
If we go to 10% in the S&P 500 stays where it is right now,
• 8:50
it's 7400 that excuse me, that would give us $740 silver.
• 8:59
But the big exciting thing is that we got a cup and handle
• 9:03
just like the cup and handle that we had in the actual silver
• 9:07
price that we looked at two and three and four years ago.
• 9:10
Every day down here in the basement that we broke out of
• 9:14
that $50 cup and handle from 1980 to 2011 through today, when
• 9:20
we broke out above $50, which was the base on that.
• 9:25
You know what happened to the silver price?
• 9:28
OK, Now sometimes doing little things over and over for 10
• 9:34
years, like maybe buying $100 worth of silver.
• 9:37
You know how much silver you would have right now if over the
• 9:40
last 10 years you invested $100 a month and silver.
• 9:45
Check this out. I was, I was shocked, I was
• 9:48
flummoxed when I saw this. Traditional money shares, $100 a
• 9:53
month for 10 years equals $12,000.
• 9:58
OK, that would what would you have today in silver?
• 10:01
If you've done that over the last 10 years, you would have
• 10:04
almost $45,000 in gold. You would have almost 33,000 in
• 10:10
  the S&P 500. You'd have 25,000 silver wins
• 10:14
the day. Here it is in more visual form
• 10:17
for you. Again, that's putting $100 per
• 10:20
month into both silver gold and the S&P 500 for 10 years
• 10:25
straight. That's where we go now.
• 10:26
Next we're going to talk about some incredible silver specific
• 10:31
exciting data. Oh, I forgot to tell you.
• 10:36
The other big reason why everybody's saying silver's
• 10:38
going up today is the rebalancing of silver versus
• 10:42
gold. The gold to silver ratio, which
• 10:45
is now actually below 60 to 1, but it's still like 58.5 last
• 10:50
time I looked at it, that silver has still been undervalued
• 10:54
relative to gold. Now next we're going to talk
• 10:56
about crazy, exciting, fundamental reasons why we can
• 11:00
continue not just with price, but with the fundamentals.
• 11:03
That's what eventually drives the price of everything in
• 11:07
  specific to silver. Thank you.
• 11:09
First Mint, if you're specific to silver, First Mint is the
• 11:14
silver specialist mint. That's all they do is mint
• 11:18
  silver. That's some incredible products.
• 11:22
Here's the back of their year of the Horse coin.
• 11:25
Just absolutely beautiful products that you can get at
• 11:29
their website at great prices. They've got great selection,
• 11:34
great customer service, free shipping on orders over $299 and
• 11:40
because they get their silver directly from First Majestic,
• 11:44
who owns them right? The the silver gets mined in
• 11:48
Mexico, goes directly to 1st Mint in Las Vegas, NV where they
• 11:53
mint the silver world class silver bullion products.
• 11:57
They then go directly to you, literally from the mine to the
• 12:00
meant to you. It's that's all they do is
• 12:03
silver and it's the freshest silver in town and it's never
• 12:06
touched by the Comex or the LBMA.
• 12:09
Here's their website if you want to check them out first,
• 12:12
mint.com, go over here to store and you can check out all their
• 12:17
different products. And there we are.
• 12:21
Here we go. Go over there to store and you
• 12:23
can check out all their different products.
• 12:26
All right, let's talk about some crazy fundamentals, exciting
• 12:30
fundamentals when it comes to the silver situation right now
• 12:35
in the world, we are living through historic times for gold
• 12:41
and in particular for silver. Silver prices up, but the
• 12:45
production barely moves. When silver prices surge, global
• 12:51
mine production stays almost completely felt flat.
• 12:54
Are you trying to show something?
• 12:56
I am and I am not. Thank you, Susie.
• 13:00
Here we go. All right, guys.
• 13:02
So when, when silver production surges, OK, Or I'm sorry, when
• 13:06
silver demand surges, when the price surges, the production is
• 13:10
  remaining exactly the same, flat.
• 13:12
Higher prices don't create more supply.
• 13:16
Most silver is a byproduct of copper, lead, and zinc mining.
• 13:20
That's exactly why the deficits keep growing.
• 13:22
And there's the visual that they brought up.
• 13:24
But man, it spawned me because we got a lot more to talk about
• 13:29
in regard to this. OK #1 yes, silver is a byproduct
• 13:34
mostly of copper mining #2 Silver is becoming harder and
• 13:41
harder to find because all the easy silver is already been
• 13:46
found over the last hundreds and thousands of years.
• 13:50
The new silver deposits, right, are becoming harder to find.
• 13:53
But it's even more interesting because the fact that we went
• 13:57
through decades of price suppression, price manipulation
• 14:00
in silver, almost nobody was out there exploring for silver.
• 14:05
Nobody wanted to finance companies to go out and drill
• 14:09
and find new silver. Only really the true
• 14:12
visionaries, right? Like Silver 47, First Majestic
• 14:16
Silver, and there's a handful of them.
• 14:18
We're out there looking, but not many.
• 14:21
OK. And on top of that, it's going
• 14:24
to take people think, oh, you go discover silver and next year
• 14:28
you can mine it. No, it's like 10 years minimum
• 14:31
  between when you discover silver.
• 14:35
Excuse me when you discover silver and when you're really
• 14:39
actually able to mine it. OK, there is no the the bottom
• 14:43
line is this. There's no magic knob somewhere
• 14:47
at a silver mine where they can turn a knob and make more silver
• 14:51
be produced, sure, but maybe they can make some small tweaks
• 14:55
and produce a tiny bit more. But the silver miners would love
• 14:58
that if oh, we could just instantly double our production.
• 15:01
No, it doesn't work that way. And from a big picture for
• 15:05
perspective at the pipeline of silver and wait till you see
• 15:10
this next data we're going to look at and gold as well, right
• 15:13
to being being rapidly depleted when we look out 10 years from
• 15:18
now, OK? When we look at the skyrocketing
• 15:21
demand for silver in particular versus all these fundamental
• 15:25
factors that we just talked about that point toward the fact
• 15:28
that there's not going to be more silver available, it's
• 15:31
going to get very interesting. All right, now check this out.
• 15:44
The mining industry was completely abandoned.
• 15:49
  Hold on. Hello.
• 15:51
OK, here we go. Sorry about that guys.
• 15:53
The mining industry was completely abandoned while the
• 15:55
world's demand for its metal exploded.
• 15:59
Mining share of global market cap collapsed from 10% to just
• 16:05
1%. At the same time, supply has
• 16:09
fallen over 50% from its peak, and we're going to look at a
• 16:14
chart from the Federal Reserve below.
• 16:16
US gold and silver, or production?
• 16:21
Demand for gold, silver, uranium, copper and rare earths
• 16:26
is at record highs. This is one of the most extreme
• 16:29
disconnects in modern market. So while we have demand at
• 16:33
record highs, if we go to this chart from the Saint Louis
• 16:37
Federal Reserve and you may not be able to read it, but at the
• 16:40
very top it says industrial production, mining gold ore and
• 16:46
silver ore. And it's this is kind of a a
• 16:49
little bit of a challenging chart to read because it says
• 16:53
  2017. Yes, Yeah, hold on.
• 16:58
Oh, you've. Got a crab blade from
• 17:01
International Stacker and you got now a little thousand 1100
• 17:05
  people watching. Oh my gosh.
• 17:07
Hey, is that I think that's Crustacean Nation is here.
• 17:14
  Welcome, man. International Stacker.
• 17:16
I love that guy and I feature your your content quite often on
• 17:21
  the channel. So welcome guys.
• 17:23
We love silver and today's a big, big day for silver.
• 17:26
But this chart shows industrial production from of gold ore and
• 17:31
silver ore with 2017 being right at the 100 the baseline.
• 17:38
And as you can see, right over the last seven years, that
• 17:42
number is just gone down and down.
• 17:44
That is the future supply of silver.
• 17:47
Where will it come from, right. OK, Now next on top of that, in
• 17:53
case you're interested in mining stocks, it gets even more
• 17:57
interesting because we get this from 10%, right?
• 18:04
This is this is how small the mining sector is coming.
• 18:08
This is where the future supply needs to come from.
• 18:16
From 10% of global market cap in 1900 to just 1% in 2025.
• 18:24
The mining industry has been gutted and pushed to the
• 18:27
margins. While at the same time, it's
• 18:30
absolutely crucial for artificial intelligence, EVs,
• 18:33
data centers and the green transition.
• 18:36
I mean, look at this, it's not just since the year 2, the, the
• 18:40
year 1900. I mean, the, the, the mining
• 18:44
sector was generally, you know, represented, let's say 5 to 12%
• 18:48
of the world's total stock market market cap.
• 18:52
But look at what has happened since 1960.
• 18:56
And now we're all the way down here at 1% in These things run
• 19:02
in cycles. These things run in.
• 19:04
I mean, we are moving into a commodity super cycle where the
• 19:09
mining sector will be, will, will, will re emerge, will be re
• 19:14
recognized as a leader and critical for what the world
• 19:18
needs. Because the world needs EVs, the
• 19:20
world needs solid-state batteries, the world needs solar
• 19:23
panels, the world needs microchips and electronics.
• 19:26
Now the world also needs to get back to $100 silver.
• 19:31
Excuse me, let's go do a check on our friend the Oriental Ghost
• 19:34
at the Shanghai Gold Exchange where we saw last night the
• 19:40
silver price closed at $91.00. That was when we had about
• 19:45
$81.00 in the in the in the West at the Comex and at the LBMA.
• 19:51
So it's going to be interesting. Tomorrow we're going to be
• 19:55
watching to see how soon we can breakthrough.
• 20:01
To $100 per oz silver. All right guys, hey, thanks
• 20:06
everybody for being here. Thanks for joining me on the
• 20:09
live stream today. This has been incredible.
• 20:12
It's an incredible day to be in the markets.
• 20:13
It's an incredible time to be in the precious metals.
• 20:17
I also want to say thank you to channel sponsor first mining
• 20:19
gold can I'll ring that bell today.
• 20:22
I'll ring that bell. All right upstairs, Susie wants
• 20:27
me to ring the bell. We'll do that.
• 20:29
We got a lot more to talk about tomorrow as well.
• 20:31
Deutsche Bank telling us $8000 gold.
• 20:35
Let's look at this. I got one more thing we'll look
• 20:37
at, but what an incredible time. I mean, I'm, I'm actually a
• 20:40
little flummoxed with what's going on within these markets.
• 20:44
It's, I did not expect this on a Monday morning, but but here you
• 20:50
go guys. Catoosa shares this Tether
• 20:54
versus China in gold buying arena.
• 20:58
This is Tether who is tokenizing the world's gold.
• 21:02
I had no idea these are quarters going back to December.
• 21:06
  The yellow bar representing Tether.
• 21:09
Look how much gold Tether bought in relation to China.
• 21:12
Again, Tether is tokenizing the gold, and all of that gold is
• 21:18
being held in a vault in Switzerland.
• 21:22
All right, let's ring the bell. Let's see if we can find it.
• 21:25
Here we go. For us, the basement dwellers.
