- 0:03SPEAKER_02: Hello everyone.
- 0:05SPEAKER_02: Welcome back to another great episode of Crushing Strongholds.
- 0:08SPEAKER_02: This is a podcast where we turn pain into power, trauma into triumph triumph, and a place where we get to expose the lies of the enemy.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: And how do we do that?
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: We do that through speaking the truth and the word and the love of Jesus Christ.
- 0:22SPEAKER_02: And also your testimony.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: A testimony that you share helps dismantle strongholds.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: And I don't know if you realize this or not, but as we share our testimonies, it helps other people that are stuck and struggling and trying to get over obstacles because they just feel so alone and isolated.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: So if you have a testimony, we want to hear about it.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: But today, I have an amazing guest with me, and I'm super excited.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: I've been waiting for a little while to get this going, so I'm I'm really thrilled today.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: And so I want to bring um um to our podcast today um Tracy Lynn Havens, and she is an amazing lady.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: I'm getting to know her.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: I've been following her for a while now.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: Um, we have a couple of things in common, and um I love that um we both are uh KBA Academy participants, and um what a great place to meet up at.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: So, Tracy, I just want to bring you on and say hello and tell us a little bit about yourself.
- 1:19SPEAKER_03: Awesome.
- 1:20SPEAKER_03: Hello, welcome, or thank you.
- 1:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, welcome to everybody who's listening, but thank you, Mickey, for welcoming me.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: Um I am excited to be here, and it's so great to finally meet you.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: I've you know, uh the conversations we've had in trying to get this podcast to um to happen has been, yes, a little bit of a struggle scheduling and everything, but yes, God is making it possible today.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: Um like you said, my name's Tracy Lynn Havens, and I am a business prayer strategist.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: So I I work with business owners to make prayer a priority in their business.
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: So I intercede for them.
- 1:56SPEAKER_03: It's just an amazing thing.
- 1:57SPEAKER_03: Prayer has always been a huge part of my life.
- 2:00SPEAKER_03: So to be able to do this in the way it all happened was was uh God mind-blowing.
- 2:06SPEAKER_03: Um but that's for a different story.
- 2:08SPEAKER_03: Um, a different episode, maybe.
- 2:11SPEAKER_03: Um, but God is so good in how he brings our passion into something where he can just fulfill it and and make it be part of our income, right?
- 2:21SPEAKER_03: Um, so yeah, God is so good.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: So I do that.
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: I I uh Christian, certified Christian life coach.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: So I um have a program called uh Bring Your Purpose to the Surface.
- 2:33SPEAKER_03: So I do have that.
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: I'm just about to launch uh a brand new program called Make God the CEO of your business.
- 2:40SPEAKER_03: It's easy to say that we do that, but this actually helps you to implement it and do it.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: And you're not just saying it.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: And you know, God's the CEO of my business.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: Anybody can say that, but what are you doing to actually make it happen?
- 2:52SPEAKER_03: So yeah, those are a few things.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: Um, I like you said, we were in KBA together, so I do have my bachelor's in ministry.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: So, and then um I'm in Canada, so I did get um, I do have um, I'm a licensed minister, so that's exciting too.
- 3:05SPEAKER_03: So yeah, God is just doing so much um in and through.
- 3:08SPEAKER_03: I know um before we spoke, you talked about um I'm an author, so I have published an ebook and then put it on Amazon also.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: So that's exciting too.
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, lots, lots.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you've been busy.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: Well, with crushing strongholds, we like to um again talk about testimonies.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: And it is sometimes what our testimony um that that when we're going through that, it takes us to where we end up landing.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: And sometimes um, um, you know, for myself, it it was a three-year span of me just sitting at the feet of Jesus before I can even talk about my testimony or realize that God was even taking me in that direction.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: And for yourself, I'm excited to hear what you you want to share with us today, because I know you have an amazing testimony, and I really do think that um it's going to enlighten a lot of people, especially people that are going through similar um situations that that you have faced.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: And so I'm really excited for you to tell us all about that.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Do you want to share with us your testimony today?
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: So um to share a testimony is like a tiny piece of what God has done in my life.
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: So this one that I'm gonna share today, I was like, Holy Spirit, what what do you want me to share?
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: What you know, because there's so many different things that he's done in my life.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: He is he's done miracles, he's just broken me through so many strongholds.
- 4:29SPEAKER_03: But today, what what I believe he is wanting me to share is um in 2016, I was diagnosed with uh intersystial cystitis, which is a chronic diagnosis, and it's otherwise known as painful bladder syndrome.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: So it is um an inflammation of the lining of the bladder, and it's a chronic diagnosis, so you're expected to have it the rest of your life.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: And I just couldn't um understand that I had this diagnosis um when we have chronic diagnoses, but the Bible says that by your stripes we were healed.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: And there's so much in the Bible about healing, healing, healing.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: Jesus healed so many people.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: And I struggled with this diagnosis.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: So um think of uh a UTI, but 10 times worse.
- 5:16SPEAKER_03: It was like shards of glass coming out of me.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: Um, and and even when I wasn't urinating, like it was, it was very, very painful.
- 5:24SPEAKER_03: And most days I experienced sometimes like on and off pain, but it was it was crazy.
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: And I remember one Christmas morning, Mickey, I I I woke up and I was in pain.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: And I was like, this is crazy.
- 5:39SPEAKER_03: And I remember sitting on my bed on my knees, going, God, I just can't do this anymore.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: It's Christmas morning, it's supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year.
- 5:48SPEAKER_03: Like, and I am in pain.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: Like, why?
- 5:50SPEAKER_03: Why?
- 5:51SPEAKER_03: I don't understand.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: And honestly, I was like, like, why don't you just take me home?
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: Like, I just wanted to go home and be in heaven and and to be free of such pain.
- 6:03SPEAKER_03: And it was in that moment that I realized, oh my gosh, this pain is controlling the way I even think.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: Like for me to want to go home when I know God has like the Bible talks about having, I think, 70 years or 71 years or something, you know, we're all supposed to have at least that.
- 6:23SPEAKER_03: Um, and it's like, okay, why am I why am I in this pain?
- 6:29SPEAKER_03: Why am I living like this and not um seeing relief?
- 6:34SPEAKER_03: I would, you know, bias stripes, I was healed.
- 6:37SPEAKER_03: I was speaking the the healing scriptures, I was doing all that, and I'd be like, I'm healed in Jesus' name.
- 6:42SPEAKER_03: And I would be saying it to people, and you know, like I would be saying all of it, but as soon as the pain would come, it'd be like, Why God, why am I in so much pain?
- 6:51SPEAKER_03: And I'd start, you know, just being like, I can't do this, I can't do this, whatever.
- 6:56SPEAKER_03: And in that moment of just being so desperate for him to take me home, that was when I realized, oh my gosh, this is controlling my life.
- 7:05SPEAKER_03: And it it didn't just control my, like it controlled where I went because of the urgency and frequency.
- 7:12SPEAKER_03: So I wouldn't travel.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: Like bear and if I did travel, there'd have to be pit stops everywhere along the way.
- 7:18SPEAKER_03: Um like it was crazy.
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't go places, I never ate out anymore because everything I ate would interfere with how I felt and would cause pain.
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: And and it was like so drastic.
- 7:30SPEAKER_03: Everything I like, even it came to the point where even lotions I put on me, I would my skin would react from them.
- 7:37SPEAKER_03: Like everything was causing like this diagnosis had become controlled my whole life.
- 7:44SPEAKER_03: Like, and you know, I'll be honest with you, at that time I don't drink anymore, but at that time I was drinking and the um just wine, but the one I would drink like more than just a couple glasses of wine because the the alcohol would actually mask my emotional feelings and the fact that I couldn't eat everything everybody else was and couldn't enjoy everything, like Christmases.
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: I would bring my own food, I would do right.
- 8:08SPEAKER_03: So there this impacted my whole entire life.
- 8:13SPEAKER_03: And um there was one situation where you know, I was trying everything.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: So I was trying like I had cupboards full of, you know, vitamins and minerals and you know, all these natural remedies and doing all that.
- 8:29SPEAKER_03: I was trying the medicine that the doctors were telling me to do, and and they would just like more things would happen.
- 8:36SPEAKER_03: Uh I even had all of my my fillings replaced, thinking it has to be something to do with the silver in my fillings.
- 8:42SPEAKER_03: Like I like I was trying absolutely everything.
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: And one day, Mickey God says to me, stop everything.
- 8:51SPEAKER_03: And I was like, I can't do that.
- 8:53SPEAKER_03: He's like, I want you to trust me.
- 8:56SPEAKER_03: Trust me, meaning him.
- 8:58SPEAKER_03: I he said, I want you to trust me, like, stop it.
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: And I was probably doing about five different natural things at that time.
- 9:09SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, everything?
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: Like there was hesitation.
- 9:13SPEAKER_03: And so I did because I had to be obedient.
- 9:16SPEAKER_03: And if one thing I've learned is when the Holy Spirit's nudging you to do something, be obedient.
- 9:23SPEAKER_03: Um, so I did that.
- 9:25SPEAKER_03: Did I see changes right away?
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: No.
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: Did I feel changes right away?
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: No.
- 9:31SPEAKER_03: One other thing that happened was I um my sister had been asking me to go to her her, she lives in a different city, so she's like, you need to come see, hear our pastor speak.
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: So I went to this church.
- 9:42SPEAKER_03: Finally, I got there, and I was like so excited.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: The pastor gets up and he's like, you know, this morning when I woke up, I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to have somebody else speak today.
- 9:51SPEAKER_03: So I called her and asked her if she would give her testimony, and I was so disappointed.
- 9:55SPEAKER_03: I was like, Are you kidding?
- 9:57SPEAKER_03: I finally get here and then, you know.
- 10:01SPEAKER_03: So, anyways, I'm like, you know, all hump on the seat thinking, okay, this is whatever, it's a testimony.
- 10:07SPEAKER_03: That testimony changed my life.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: This woman was so on fire for God.
- 10:15SPEAKER_03: She was so on fire for God.
- 10:17SPEAKER_03: I don't even remember what she said, but she just she just talked so much about God and how much he had done in her life.
- 10:23SPEAKER_03: I like, I was like, I want what she's got.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: Like in my mind, I'm thinking this, right?
- 10:29SPEAKER_03: And then so at the end of the service, they do an altar call.
- 10:32SPEAKER_03: And so I I my sister had always said, You go, go get, go, go, come to my church so you can get prayer for healing.
- 10:39SPEAKER_03: So I was like, okay, I'm gonna go up and get prayer for healing.
- 10:42SPEAKER_03: But when I went up to get prayer for healing, I said, I want what she's got.
- 10:46SPEAKER_03: She was, there was about three of them praying.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: And I said, I want what she's got.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: I want what she's got.
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: And so, anyways, I I wasn't physically healed in that moment, but I was spiritually healed.
- 10:56SPEAKER_03: Amen.
- 10:57SPEAKER_03: And it was phenomenal.
- 10:59SPEAKER_03: My whole life changed.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: I wanted more of God.
- 11:02SPEAKER_03: I wanted to read more.
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: I wanted to pray more.
- 11:05SPEAKER_03: I was in his word more.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: I just couldn't get enough of Jesus.
- 11:08SPEAKER_03: And you know, the the biggest change was it changed from a duty to a desire.
- 11:15SPEAKER_03: So it no longer was I going to church or praying or reading my Bible because I felt like that's what I was supposed to do.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: I was doing it because I had such a love for Jesus.
- 11:24SPEAKER_03: And I just wanted more of him and to to meet him and for him to meet me where I was at.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: And so that was where my spiritual journey changed.
- 11:34SPEAKER_03: Where, you know, I I stopped drinking and I like my life, just was, I wasn't doing the thing.
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: I wasn't hanging around with the same people.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: I wasn't like, it wasn't just, and I was a born-again Christian before then, but that was where the change really, really changed.
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: Where I I didn't need to go out and have drinks with friends on a Friday night.
- 11:55SPEAKER_03: I instead would the Holy Spirit one time had me go to the dollar store and say, I want you to bless somebody with some money.
- 12:01SPEAKER_03: And and in that moment, oh my gosh, it was a Friday night.
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: He said, Go, go, go to the store and and um bless somebody.
- 12:07SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, I'm sitting in my prayer room thinking, okay.
- 12:12SPEAKER_03: So I went thinking I have to be obedient.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: And and lo and behold, I'm like ready to leave, thinking, well, I don't feel anything.
- 12:19SPEAKER_03: And then all of a sudden, I see somebody that I went to high school with like 25 years before.
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: And the whole conversation and everything was phenomenal.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: God's story.
- 12:29SPEAKER_03: Her and I are still friends to this day.
- 12:31SPEAKER_03: She just texted me actually this morning.
- 12:33SPEAKER_03: And it's just amazing what God can do in those moments and how he just moves when we're obedient to him.
- 12:40SPEAKER_03: And that's I just bringing that out because I was obedient.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: But there was such a desire that I was hearing him so clearly and I understood what he was saying, and I wasn't doubting anymore, right?
- 12:52SPEAKER_03: So then comes where there's a moment where God says to me, He says, uh, I was, you know, wondering why I wasn't feeling.
- 13:02SPEAKER_03: And he brings a verse to my attention.
- 13:05SPEAKER_03: And I'm just gonna have it here just so I didn't um say quote it wrong.
- 13:09SPEAKER_03: But it's James 1, verses 7 to 8.
- 13:12SPEAKER_03: And it says, But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
- 13:23SPEAKER_03: That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
- 13:34SPEAKER_03: And that scripture spoke to me like crazy.
- 13:37SPEAKER_03: I was like a wave being tossed and thrown.
- 13:40SPEAKER_03: My mind was believing I was healed, but my actions weren't proving that I was healed.
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: I wanted to ask you, I didn't want to I didn't want to interrupt you, but I want to ask you.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, you're fine.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: When you were talking towards the beginning of the conversation, you had said that you were praying for for healing and you were telling people that you you believed in it.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: But I wanted to ask you, did you really feel like you were doubting that prayer in that time until that pivotal moment that happened to you when you went to that church?
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: Or did you, I mean, sometimes I know that the Lord says, you know, sometimes you have to speak it.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: It to make it come to pass, you gotta speak on it.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: You have to believe you have to trust it.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: But sometimes we speak things, but down deep we're really not trusting it fully.
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: We're not, we're, we're kind of like, we're so reserved in that area that we we we know God's existence, but we're doubting if it's real, that realism part.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: And I wonder if when you were telling people, hey, I'm gonna be healed from this, I'm praying for healing, I believe in this, and then the pain would still be there.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: If that part of doubting, do you feel like that kind of held you back until your pivotal moment?
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and that's exactly what it was.
- 14:54SPEAKER_03: My actions weren't going along with being healed, right?
- 15:00SPEAKER_03: So I still was not eating any of the foods that I was told I couldn't eat.
- 15:05SPEAKER_03: I still was like my my mind was still believing I wasn't healed, but my voice was saying I was healed.
- 15:15SPEAKER_03: Gotcha.
- 15:16SPEAKER_03: So, so you are exactly right.
- 15:18SPEAKER_03: I and and just like that verse says, like I was doubting.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: I was doubting.
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: So I was speaking it and and I was wanting it so bad, but if you like if you truly, if if if I truly believe in God, like if if someone's standing behind me and they say they're gonna catch me, am I gonna fall back, right?
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: Like you don't know if they're gonna catch you until you fall back.
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: So how do I know God has healed me if I'm not even trusting in what like eating, be able being able to eat the way that people do, being able to do things that people that people do.
- 15:57SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: Like there was there was such a fear of anything I did or put in my mouth or whatever that would cause the pain that I wasn't doing.
- 16:08SPEAKER_03: So so fear was holding me back from living my life.
- 16:14SPEAKER_03: So that so the the stronghold of fear, but because of that fear, my my diagnosis became my identity.
- 16:23SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: And when I met Jesus really deeply and intimately at that church, and and I mean, you can meet him anywhere, you can meet him in your bedroom, you can meet him in your kitchen, you can meet him anywhere, but it just so happened at that church where I was like, I want what she's got.
- 16:39SPEAKER_03: When I met him there, that's when I realized my diagnosis was my identity.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: And that's when Jesus started revealing himself to me and who he truly was, and and how I needed to believe in him and he was my identity, not the diagnosis.
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: So when I when I when I found that verse, it was like, oh my gosh, I have been doubting, believing, but doubting my actions, you know, and that's why there's a verse that says, you know, um, faith without actions is dead.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: Yes, right?
- 17:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:19SPEAKER_03: So so those are things like that word, like he was just bringing things to my attention, and it was just like, wow.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think that sometimes like once we hit that, that that, like I said, pivotal moment, God starts.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: Well, we we allow actually what it is, is we open up and allow God to actually work on us.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: He's already been trying to work on us, but we haven't allowed it.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: And once we allow it, and like Revelation 3.20 says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: You know, he's knocking, but will you be the one to let him in, or is he just gonna continue knocking?
- 17:53SPEAKER_02: We have to allow him to come in and you know, and and be part of us, and then he can he can work through us.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: Then he gets to start giving us little bits and pieces and he starts giving us things, and he wants to fulfill um all of his promise that he promises that he has for us because he that's his desire, honestly, is every promise that's in the word of God, he has it for every single person.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: But the reason he doesn't just go, oh, here's the bag of promises, is because we're not accepting, we're not understanding, we're not, we're not, we're not there yet.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: So he can't just give them all to you because you wouldn't know what to do with them if you had them, you know.
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: And you know, you know, when we get blessed, we're like, what is this for?
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: What is this blessing for?
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: I have no idea.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: And and to him, it's a great blessing.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: And to us, it's you know, we're kind of confused because we're not there.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: Um, we haven't met him there yet.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: And I always tell people um when struggling with these strongholds, fear, by the way, I I truly believe fear is the number one stronghold out of all of the strongholds.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: There's there's many strongholds, but I think fear keeps you um stuck in all of those other areas.
- 18:58SPEAKER_02: Like you said, the fear is what kept you stuck in the diagnosis.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: And I I love that you said that because I I truly believe in most circumstances, actually, almost every person I've talked to, it's been fear-related.
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: Every single person.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: And um, we doubt it.
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: The only fear we're supposed to have is, you know, um the fear of hell.
- 19:16SPEAKER_02: And um we need to believe wholeheartedly, you know, in God.
- 19:19SPEAKER_02: And it's hard when we don't um put all of our trust in faith, you know.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: And it's funny because we we tell people, all you need is the faith of a mustard seed.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: It's so little, but yet we look at it like it's so big.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: We forget the picture to God, even to God it's so little, but to us it's so vast.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: It's like, oh my gosh, I can't even fathom this.
- 19:40SPEAKER_02: This is too much.
- 19:41SPEAKER_02: And God's like, if you just give me that trust, I promise you I'm gonna be there.
- 19:46SPEAKER_02: You know, like you said, falling back.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: I don't do that dare with a lot of people, by the way.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't trust a lot of people to catch them like, no, you're not gonna catch me, you know, or you're gonna or I'm gonna fall on you, or you're gonna trip, and we're both gonna fall.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: I mean, I just you know, I have I I don't do that dare very often with people.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: Um, but we we really should be able to do that with God.
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: So that's an amazing so as you're going through this um time in your life and you start seeing these changes happen, um, and you start spinning, oh, I love that you just spend time with God.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: Like it's it's a desire, you know, not something that you have to do now.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: And I love that.
- 20:23SPEAKER_02: Um, that's what drives you instead of oh, I gotta, you know, in order to be obedient, I've gotta do this.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: You know, we do that.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: We lag and we say, Okay, Lord, I'm gonna get up and I'm gonna pray.
- 20:33SPEAKER_02: Or, you know, kind of like I said in the beginning, like we have a checkoff list, like let me go through my checkoff list.
- 20:38SPEAKER_02: It shouldn't be a checkoff list, it should really be what's on our hearts.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: You know, we should really desire and and long to have that intimate time with God.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: And I feel like um a lot of times we don't do that.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: We just get stuck in our routines and our repetitions, and you know, let me get through the motions, Lord.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: Just get me through that, you know.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: Can you know?
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then we don't get the healing because we don't have that faith, you know.
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: And I think, you know, even though we're going through that, like you said, you were a Christian.
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: I love that you said that too, by the way.
- 21:09SPEAKER_02: Um, that you were a Christian, but you needed you there's something that you needed more than just being, you know, yeah, I'm yeah, I'm saved.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: That you know, that's good.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: And God wants us to have more.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: You know, He wants us to have He wants us to have everything He's promised in the Word of God.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: And when I tell that to people and I go, if you think about that, even just a little bit of that, it can be overwhelming.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: It can be hugely overwhelming.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: But if you think about how much He really wants you to have all of that, you'll start looking at His Word a little differently.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: You won't look at it as like, Oh, I'm just being obedient, you know.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: That obedience brings on those promises and the blessings that he has for us in abundance, in hope, and healing, especially in healing.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: And you know, I think it's amazing.
- 21:52SPEAKER_02: So go ahead and finish.
- 21:53SPEAKER_02: I want you to finish telling your the rest of your testimony.
- 21:56SPEAKER_03: Well, there's you know, there was the one biggest thing was the um Because I was in so much pain, I was controlling things that because I couldn't control the pain, I would try to control little things around me.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: Like something as simple as the toilet paper roll in the bathroom.
- 22:15SPEAKER_03: Like if it was hanging the wrong way, I would, because it was like I could control it.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: But I remember somebody worked with me and um worked for me because I owned a paint your own pottery studio.
- 22:25SPEAKER_03: And um, like I would be like, well, well, the the palette has to be this way and the brush has to be that way.
- 22:30SPEAKER_03: Like, like it mattered.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: And like little things I would try to control because I couldn't control my pain.
- 22:36SPEAKER_03: So if anybody even listening is is experiencing um, you know, somebody else who has a chronic diagnosis and they are living with them or something, that they the person with the pain, I really have come to realize that they try to control things around them because they can't control the pain.
- 22:55SPEAKER_03: So just something to keep in mind.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: But one of the biggest things was um, I listened to like a TED talk or something one time, and it was talking about how um when I'm gonna use back pain as an example, kind of like when you have back pain, because I think it'll be easier to understand.
- 23:15SPEAKER_03: If you have back pain and you wake up every morning with the same back pain, the pain doesn't intensify, but in your mind, because you're you're you're dwelling on it and you're doing the pain is getting worse and worse and worse every day.
- 23:28SPEAKER_03: But really, it's staying the same scientifically.
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 23:33SPEAKER_03: So so in my mind, after I watched that, I was like, okay.
- 23:38SPEAKER_03: So if I'm feeling the same pain that I felt when I first had this, and I shouldn't be feeling this much pain, I'm not understanding how this because I know I'm in pain.
- 23:48SPEAKER_03: I am in extreme, excruciating pain.
- 23:51SPEAKER_03: Like this doesn't make sense to me.
- 23:53SPEAKER_03: So after listening to this video, and I I'm not going to go into it because I I don't even remember it, but I know that this worked for me.
- 24:00SPEAKER_03: When I would feel like so, one of the major times when I felt was when I urinated, right?
- 24:06SPEAKER_03: So every time I was in the washroom, I would just start laughing.
- 24:10SPEAKER_03: Instead of crying or being in pain, I would laugh about the pain.
- 24:15SPEAKER_03: And I literally changed that feeling from being painful to being exciting.
- 24:22SPEAKER_03: I I used to count like how long it would take me to go to the washroom because then I knew I was holding more in my bladder.
- 24:31SPEAKER_03: Like that's how how obsessed I was with trying to be healing, like trying to heal myself, right?
- 24:39SPEAKER_03: But it was like everything I everything I touched or did.
- 24:43SPEAKER_03: So what what this scientific video talked about was fight or flight mode.
- 24:46SPEAKER_03: And what I recognized was my body was going into fear.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: Anytime I even was going to try something new, a vitamin and medicine, a mineral, anything, anything food-wise, that's why my body started reacting to lotion that I had used forever.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 25:06SPEAKER_03: Like it was a lavender lotion.
- 25:07SPEAKER_03: And so then I was like, oh my gosh, I'm allergic to lavender.
- 25:09SPEAKER_03: How is that?
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: I was gonna actually ask you about that.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Um, so this is an internal diagnosis, but the lotion is external on your skin.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: So how so was it a mind sensory problem because of the diagnosis that you were bringing on more symptoms for yourself because of the pain you were having?
- 25:27SPEAKER_02: That's why I got I kind of wanted to make that connection.
- 25:29SPEAKER_02: So I'm glad you went back there.
- 25:31SPEAKER_03: So, what I believe is it was like a fight or flight mode.
- 25:34SPEAKER_03: So my body was going to fight mode before anything even entered it or touched it.
- 25:41SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 25:42SPEAKER_03: So before I even put that lotion on, my body is like, oh my gosh, is am I gonna be is it gonna react?
- 25:49SPEAKER_03: And it did.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: Because my the cortisol level and all of that crazy stuff, I don't even understand it, but I know because now I can use that same lotion.
- 26:00SPEAKER_02: Oh wow.
- 26:01SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 26:02SPEAKER_03: And and now after years of going through all of these different things and finally just trusting God when he said, you know, stop doing everything.
- 26:11SPEAKER_03: Now, I'm not saying I don't now like there are some things where he said, you know, um, I do use um like uh silver, just everyone's silver's not really good.
- 26:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like there are things that I do now, but but at that moment in my life, he and and I'm not saying cut everything out because we have to listen to what the Holy Spirit's saying to us and what our heart is right, like that that is between you and Holy Spirit, not me and and Mickey and us telling people what to do.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: Right for me at that moment, and I knew I was hearing clearly from the Lord that I I trusted him and I was like, okay, Lord, I'm gonna do it.
- 26:50SPEAKER_03: So it like I said, it wasn't uh uh an immediate healing, it wasn't immediate, but I can say now today that I am totally healed.
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: It's probably I know that it was I I it was actually last year where there was one point in going, I was like, oh my gosh, I have had zero pain, zero pain.
- 27:08SPEAKER_03: And that was um, and I knew I hadn't had any pain as of January.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: So it has been a full complete year, but it's probably been longer.
- 27:16SPEAKER_03: But I knew for sure that I hadn't had any pain last year in January.
- 27:20SPEAKER_03: So for me, it's it's um it's such a blessing.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: And I just recognize that our minds play such a big role on those diagnoses.
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: And the fact that a doctor gives us a diagnosis doesn't mean like we're receiving those words.
- 27:44SPEAKER_03: And we need to make sure, like the the the Bible says there's power of life or death in the tongue.
- 27:51SPEAKER_03: So as soon as we hear those words, like I would always say I was diagnosed with intersisosystis.
- 28:01SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't say I I have it, because as soon as we as soon as we say I have that, then we're opening up that realm that um and remember the Bible says everything's in the you know, principalities like the the struggle is is in the the spirit realm, right?
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: So when when he talks about the life being in the um life or death being in the power, when he talks about that, our words are so important.
- 28:33SPEAKER_03: So what we speak is is so valuable.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: Like if I like when I woke up, like I couldn't say I'm in pain.
- 28:42SPEAKER_03: I I wouldn't even tell my husband when I was in pain anymore because I understood.
- 28:47SPEAKER_03: So that's why when I was being healed too, like I understood that verse all the time, but now it's even so much more powerful.
- 28:55SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, um it could be something as simple as, oh my gosh, I feel like awful today, my stomach hurts.
- 29:01SPEAKER_03: Like I try my best not to even make those comments because soon as soon as we speak them, it's like it's out there, and now the enemy has heard what he how he can attack us.
- 29:12SPEAKER_03: And as soon as we speak it, it's like it brings to mind where we can go to um where we can be attacked, basically.
- 29:24SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: One one script I wanted to bring bring up real quick because I I love it, I love what you're saying about speaking it.
- 29:33SPEAKER_02: It's really important.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: But one step before that, that I like to um like with my coaching program that I really dive into is before you speak it, you you've already had a that thought.
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: And so I like 2 Corinthians 10 5 because um it says casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, um, bring it into captivity, every thought to the obedience of Christ.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: Like we we have to grab so that thought that comes into your mind, like when you said you wake up and you're like, Oh, I feel awful, it's already here before you've even said it here.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: Yes, and what what the enemy wants us to do is to go ahead and speak it because now we we've spoken over ourselves.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: So now we've basically cursed ourselves by speaking it.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: And one thing I tell people with that, this exact scripture is I know it says like cast or you know, you're supposed to um cast your thoughts, right?
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: And um I think about it like if you think about being a captain of a ship and um capturing, okay.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: So if you have a thought that comes into your mind and you don't capture it, it becomes the captain of your ship.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: It's controlling you that day.
- 30:45SPEAKER_02: But if you take cap caption of that thought before it takes caption of you, you're the captain of your ship.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: It you get to control it.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: And I think that's where our mind comes into play with a lot of things that we speak over ourselves because we've had a thought come to our our our our mind.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: And then instead of um, you know, rebuking it and like, nope, not today, Satan.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: No, and I do that a lot.
- 31:06SPEAKER_02: I'm like, nope, not today, Satan, not today.
- 31:08SPEAKER_02: You can just kick rocks.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: I'm done with you.
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: This this caught, you know, before I speak, and there are times I got up and I'm like, oh man, you know, and it's funny because you say back, because I, you know, I have I have back issues and I've had back surgery, and and so I can relate exactly with the back pain, you know, and I have a lot of chronic pain without with within my body, but um I try not to speak to it as if it's gonna control me.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: I speak against it.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: And even though the thoughts sometimes come to me, I'm like, I'm not gonna accept that thought today.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna do it, I'm gonna do the opposite.
- 31:38SPEAKER_02: The the thoughts is stay in bed, just you know, feel sorry for yourself, you know, tell everybody you feel like, you know, garbage and whatever.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, no, I'm gonna get up and I've got things to do.
- 31:48SPEAKER_02: You're not gonna mess with my mind today.
- 31:50SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I might be going a at a little slower pace, but I'm still going through it, you know, and I'll be talking, I usually am talking to God throughout the day.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: I put worship music on because that distracts my mind from it as well.
- 32:01SPEAKER_02: Um, I try to stay in conversation with God because that distracts my mind as well.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: So the enemy doesn't have room to even try to become the captive of of my ship.
- 32:11SPEAKER_02: I'm like, you cannot be the captive of my ship.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: And so I love that you were saying about um, you know, how important our words are, but I just wanted to take one step further and and and talk about the thoughts that become before they become words, how important that we can actually control it before they even come out of our mouth.
- 32:29SPEAKER_02: Sometimes we forget to do that.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: Often I know people forget to do that, but that's why when it's already spoken, the devil hears what we say.
- 32:37SPEAKER_02: He can't hear our thoughts, but he can hear what we think when we speak.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: So that's where the enemy gets to play on that.
- 32:43SPEAKER_02: Once it comes out of our mouth, then the devil gets to take it to the playground.
- 32:47SPEAKER_02: And it's just havoc.
- 32:49SPEAKER_02: Like you I mean, you see kids on the playground, they're fighting for the swing and they're pushing each other down or they're chasing or whatever, and you know, some of it's good, some of it's bad.
- 32:57SPEAKER_02: And so I use that as an analogy when it comes to our thought process because we literally have to capture it before we speak it, so the enemy can't grab it and run with it.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: So I love that, you know.
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: But if it does, if if and when we do speak it, because that's the way we also get the enemy to to flee is by speaking against the enemy.
- 33:16SPEAKER_02: It says if you speak the name of Jesus, he has to flee in my name.
- 33:19SPEAKER_02: So if if if you already have that going on in that process already happening, you can speak against that.
- 33:25SPEAKER_02: So again, I love that you're talking, touching base on that topic.
- 33:28SPEAKER_02: So I just wanted to throw that in there real quick.
- 33:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and even when, like, so one of the things that in my Bring Your Purpose to the Service program, when we're with the thoughts, is we, you know, we need to align our thoughts with the word of God, right?
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: Because when we recognize our thoughts, that's what the one of the biggest things is, is recognizing our thoughts.
- 33:48SPEAKER_03: And that's what helped me to realize um that my thoughts about the diagnosis were all coming from the enemy.
- 33:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:57SPEAKER_03: I wasn't aligning my thoughts to the word of God.
- 34:02SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 34:02SPEAKER_03: So I would I would read the word of God and I'd be like, okay, by his stripes, I was healed.
- 34:08SPEAKER_03: But then it'd be like, but you're in pain, right?
- 34:10SPEAKER_03: But you're not feeling good.
- 34:12SPEAKER_03: But you're and so all of that would come flooding in and wipe out the thoughts that I was having, that the promises that God has for us.
- 34:23SPEAKER_03: So, and just like you said, you know, um, when we when we even have those words, just like Jesus, when he was tempted in the wilderness, he said, it is written, right?
- 34:33SPEAKER_03: So when we when I started um declaring and decreeing things, it was like it is written, like like basically you have no power over me, enemy, right?
- 34:41SPEAKER_03: Like you, you have no say over what happens in this body.
- 34:45SPEAKER_03: Jesus, like he, you know, and I was standing in my authority of who I was as a child of God and and recognizing like he just revealed to me um my identity, who I was in Christ, instead of the the diagnosis being my identity.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: That's wonderful.
- 35:05SPEAKER_02: I think that's crazy.
- 35:07SPEAKER_02: Um, again, back in 2 Corinthians, same scripture where it talks about, you know, um, it says, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.
- 35:17SPEAKER_02: I I love this scripture because if you read in um Proverbs, because Solomon is very wise, and you start grasping the knowledge that that God has given us, especially like in Old Testament, there's so much in the Old Testament when it comes to our bodies.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: Um, a lot of people go, Oh, that's old law, that's old law.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: Um, but a lot of it worked, I mean, it was good stuff back then.
- 35:38SPEAKER_02: And and you know, our temples are supposed to be pure and you know, like you said, you stopped doing a bunch of stuff where God just said, stop it, stop doing that.
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: And then um, and even though you're like, wait a minute, like cold turkey, just quit, you know, like wait a minute, I don't know if I can do that.
- 35:54SPEAKER_02: You know, like I'm gonna and and I've like even myself, I'm like, God, I'm gonna probably need a little bit of help with that when you tell me to stop doing something, you know.
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: But I know that if we take it to the knowledge, take it, you know, every high thing um and exalt it to the knowledge of God.
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: So if we take it to God and and it doesn't line up with his word, again, it takes us into doubt when we don't line it up with God and go, okay, what does God say about it?
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: Okay, God says this, well then that's what I have to believe about it.
- 36:21SPEAKER_02: I can't believe, okay, my body and my flesh is telling me one thing, but this is what the word of God says.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: So I what do I believe?
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: This or this?
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: A or B, A or B.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: And it's really hard when your body is in control, taking the control, and God wants the control.
- 36:35SPEAKER_02: It's hard to hand that over and go, okay, God, I'm putting everything that your word says, all of the knowledge your your your word says, I'm gonna trust you to have it.
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: And I love that you uh recognize that and it changed your identity back to who he he created you to be, not to what the diagnosis created you to be.
- 36:53SPEAKER_02: So that's amazing.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: I love that you did that.
- 36:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:57SPEAKER_03: He's so good.
- 36:58SPEAKER_03: He's so good.
- 36:59SPEAKER_03: You know, I think one of the biggest things is like you said, knowing who you are in Christ and and knowing that, you know, he loves you, he values you, you are forgiven, you are like there's there's so much.
- 37:12SPEAKER_03: I know there's um characteristics of God that I give to my clients, and it's just what I did was I I would voice record it and I would tell them themselves, voice record it and play it while you're getting ready in the morning.
- 37:25SPEAKER_03: Play it.
- 37:25SPEAKER_03: And and it just all these verses from the Bible that tells you how He sees me, right?
- 37:32SPEAKER_03: How God sees me.
- 37:33SPEAKER_03: So every morning I was listening to it and I was just like, wow, you see me like this, God, right?
- 37:40SPEAKER_03: And and who and what I'm capable of because of him living inside of me.
- 37:45SPEAKER_03: You know, like I I was so grateful that I had my own brick and mortar, um, you know, paint your own pottery studio business.
- 37:53SPEAKER_03: But um it because I could go to the washroom when I needed to, I didn't, I used to work for the school board and it was hard to just uh take a break when you needed to, run to the washroom, right?
- 38:03SPEAKER_03: So, so my my whole life had changed.
- 38:06SPEAKER_03: But because I had that, but I remember one day being in there going, okay, there's gotta be more than just, you know, coming, going home, going to bed, right, coming to work, going home, going to bed.
- 38:16SPEAKER_03: Like when you own a business, you're there all the time.
- 38:19SPEAKER_03: And that was while I was at that place, was when I went to that church service.
- 38:23SPEAKER_03: And that's when God answered that, like he answered so much in hearing that girl's testimony, instead of the pastor speaking.
- 38:31SPEAKER_03: And the fact that he woke up that morning and was like, I feel like I'm supposed to have Michelle give her testimony.
- 38:36SPEAKER_03: So he called her up and said, Would you be willing to give your testimony today?
- 38:40SPEAKER_03: And in the how much that impacted my life, I probably would have never seen that woman's testimony.
- 38:46SPEAKER_03: Like God, you know, so when you go to a church service or you go to where God wants you to go, just be open, just be open and know.
- 38:53SPEAKER_03: Receive whatever He has for you because we have no idea.
- 38:57SPEAKER_03: Even when we were in the struggle, the struggles and challenges, like, you know, that diagnosis was like looking back, crap.
- 39:11SPEAKER_03: It was crappy.
- 39:12SPEAKER_03: Having having that and living through it, and you know, having my kids, you know, sometimes I missed out on things and you know, traveling here and try doing things, right?
- 39:20SPEAKER_03: Like I missed out on stuff, but you know what?
- 39:25SPEAKER_03: God doesn't bring like everything we go through, God brings good from.
- 39:29SPEAKER_03: And I know I've I've helped a lot of women because of going through stuff like this, right?
- 39:35SPEAKER_03: Because of having this testimony myself, because of maybe just one word that I might say something today that triggers something in somebody's mind.
- 39:43SPEAKER_03: Like you had said something about the back, and you could relate to that piece.
- 39:47SPEAKER_03: Like there, there, even if there's just one thing, like all the people that he's changing.
- 39:52SPEAKER_03: And when I think of Mickey, the most important thing that happened through all of this is my intimacy with Jesus.
- 39:59SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing can replace that.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: Nothing.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: And you know, sometimes we go through these things, not saying God makes them happen because I believe it's the like the evil in the world that brings comes to, but God will bring good from it.
- 40:21SPEAKER_03: And so no matter what struggle or challenge or or whatever you're going through, just instead of resisting it, embrace it and just say, God, where are you in it?
- 40:31SPEAKER_03: Meet me where I'm at.
- 40:33SPEAKER_03: Help me to get through this.
- 40:35SPEAKER_03: Because if we try to take that challenge or struggle away, He wants to grow us and stretch us to bring us to the next challenge or struggle, right?
- 40:44SPEAKER_03: So it's important for us to go through it to build to build up our resilience, to build up our resistance, to the determination, the perseverance, to just keep building us stronger to make us who he wants us to be.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 40:57SPEAKER_02: It's kind of like building up your immune system.
- 40:59SPEAKER_02: You do the same thing, you know, like, you know, I love that, you know, when you're a kid and you're in Sunday school and they say, God made dirt.
- 41:05SPEAKER_02: You know that song?
- 41:06SPEAKER_02: God made dirt, you know?
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: And I just think, why would we want to have anything to do with dirt?
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: You know, because it builds your immune system um to all of you know, all of the stuff that's in the dirt, you know, and and that's with our life.
- 41:19SPEAKER_02: We're we go through a lot of dirt in our life, and we have to build up those immunities to it.
- 41:24SPEAKER_02: And I think it's interesting, like um, you know, like when you get a cold, like the next time it's probably not gonna be as bad because you built up some immunity to it, you know.
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: That's what I think God built, that's why he builds us like that, so that we have that build-up.
- 41:37SPEAKER_02: And and and when we're sitting next to God, he's our builder, he builds us, you know, he's already created us masterful.
- 41:44SPEAKER_02: And I love that you brought up the characteristics of God because one of God's characteristics, besides to to serve one another, is to understand that he chose you and he gave you an assignment for who he made you to be.
- 41:56SPEAKER_02: And he doesn't make mistakes, but yet we think, oh man.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: And I tell people, because I'm an artist, um, I actually have a bookstore in an art gallery, so I love that you had a brick and mortar like quality shop.
- 42:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was like, Yay, that's so exciting.
- 42:08SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm the artist and my daughter's the bookworm, so we we have a store.
- 42:13SPEAKER_02: But anyhow, um, I love the fact that um he says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, right?
- 42:18SPEAKER_02: Well, who goes to up to someone's masterpiece and says, Man, that's just garbage.
- 42:24SPEAKER_02: Like I mean, sometimes people do it.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Nowadays people say anything, but I mean, most of the time they're they're pretty reserved or they go, wow, that's you know, that's a unique or beautiful piece or whatever.
- 42:34SPEAKER_02: That's how God made us, you know, and not everybody will see us as beautiful, like I said, but God sees us as beautiful because he created it, because we don't create something to go, you know, I'm gonna just start over, you know.
- 42:46SPEAKER_02: Now God, He doesn't do that with us.
- 42:48SPEAKER_02: Like when we're creating clay, I know when it you're like, oh, start over, you know, start the spinning wheel again.
- 42:53SPEAKER_02: You know, I've dealt with some clay, but I'm like, oh my gosh, you know, this is terrible.
- 42:56SPEAKER_02: It's lopsided, it's crooked, it's whatever cracking.
- 42:59SPEAKER_02: Um, but when God created us, it's a it's a perfect fit.
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: There is no going back, he's not gonna change the formula as to who he made you be because he made you fearfully and wonderfully.
- 43:09SPEAKER_02: He doesn't have to change the masterpiece that he already mastered it when he knew you before your mother knew you in the womb.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: And I love that.
- 43:16SPEAKER_02: And I try to explain that to people to where they understand, like, you know, we doubt ourselves so much.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: We doubt our our physical being, we we doubt our spiritual being, we doubt um, you know, people around us, we let people influence us.
- 43:30SPEAKER_02: Um, we let, you know, me media and news influence us, government, politics, all of it is an influence.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: That's all it is.
- 43:38SPEAKER_02: But the only thing that should really be influencing us is the word of God.
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: And if it doesn't line up with the word of God, then just I I just I I literally just like, no, not today, devil.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: Nope, nope.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: You know, I may not understand it all or have it all figured out, but I know what the word of God says.
- 43:54SPEAKER_02: And the God says if it does line up with me, then let it go.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: Let all that other stuff go.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: You don't even have to worry about it.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Because it'll worry for itself.
- 44:02SPEAKER_02: You know, that's what the word says.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: So I used to worry about everything.
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: Like I used to be this worry word, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, what's gonna happen, you know?
- 44:10SPEAKER_02: And it used to just consume my time and my energy, and it just was exhausting.
- 44:15SPEAKER_02: And when I just finally, like I said, I spent three years at Jesus' feet and I learned just to lay it all down.
- 44:21SPEAKER_02: It's that surrendering all that takes you, that allows God to actually intervene and takes you to the next level.
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: But if we're trying to be the one still in control and not surrendering all of it, even if we're holding on to a little piece of it, he can't work fully through us.
- 44:37SPEAKER_02: We have to surrender it all.
- 44:39SPEAKER_02: So it's mighty.
- 44:40SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 44:41SPEAKER_02: And I wanted to say something about you going to that um church and hearing this lady's testimony, because obviously crushing strongholds is about people's testimonies.
- 44:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 44:50SPEAKER_02: It really does free you.
- 44:51SPEAKER_02: I think there's a lot of freedom in hearing that you're not alone and stuff.
- 44:56SPEAKER_02: But also, I love when somebody gives a testimony and it becomes a contagiousness.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: You want it, you want what they have.
- 45:02SPEAKER_02: I want it.
- 45:03SPEAKER_02: And you know what that contagious, that contagiousness is?
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: It's Jesus.
- 45:07SPEAKER_01: Amen.
- 45:07SPEAKER_02: He becomes contagious.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: And I I think Jesus is always contagious.
- 45:11SPEAKER_02: Anytime I go anywhere and someone's talking about Jesus, I want to be a part of it.
- 45:15SPEAKER_02: I never want to miss out on it.
- 45:16SPEAKER_02: I'm like, what are you saying?
- 45:17SPEAKER_02: What a let's go back to, let's talk, you know.
- 45:20SPEAKER_02: I could talk Jesus all day long.
- 45:22SPEAKER_02: I get so excited, I'm like a little kid in a candy store.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yes, let's talk about Jesus, you know.
- 45:27SPEAKER_02: Because I'm I'm so thrilled, you know.
- 45:29SPEAKER_02: And people were like, You must be like a lunatic or something.
- 45:32SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh no, I just love Jesus, you know.
- 45:34SPEAKER_02: Maybe you should find out who this Jesus is and you'll know what I'm talking about, you know.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: Let me give you a little piece of this.
- 45:39SPEAKER_02: Let's make it contagious.
- 45:41SPEAKER_02: So I love that you were able to, you know, go to this testimony and and and um receive that um moment in your life where just things changed for you.
- 45:51SPEAKER_02: And I know that um you did mention that like right away, you didn't you didn't feel the healing right away, but you knew you knew something changed that in that moment.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: And um, I know some people when they pray, and and as we wrap up, I want to know if you could add to this.
- 46:07SPEAKER_02: When some people pray, especially, especially because you like to pray for businesses and intercede, and they go to God and their prayers are not fulfilled momentarily, instantly, like immediate.
- 46:19SPEAKER_02: Like sometimes we go to God and we think it should happen, like right now, like Lord, I'm asking right now, should it happen right now?
- 46:24SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 46:25SPEAKER_02: Um, what can you tell our listeners today that would really encourage them not to lose their faith or their hope because a prayer isn't answered immediately?
- 46:35SPEAKER_03: I when you said that, the first thing that came to my mind was like when we go through anything, it doesn't come by surprise to God.
- 46:45SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 46:45SPEAKER_02: Amen.
- 46:46SPEAKER_03: So no matter what we're going through, God already knew.
- 46:51SPEAKER_03: So why are we fretting?
- 46:52SPEAKER_03: Why are we, why are we second guessing his what he's doing when he knows what we're going through?
- 46:58SPEAKER_03: We have to always remember his timing is perfect.
- 47:02SPEAKER_03: I I was I'm in a prayer group and one of the person one of the people said, you know, I I have these um nonprofit organizations and I wasn't getting any grants.
- 47:14SPEAKER_03: And she's applying for um attorney general position.
- 47:18SPEAKER_03: And if she would have got those grants in her nonprofit, she wouldn't have been able to keep the nonprofit and been working for the attorney general.
- 47:29SPEAKER_03: So she was like right then, I realized that there was a reason I wasn't getting those grants.
- 47:33SPEAKER_03: But in that moment, getting grants for a nonprofit, why would why would God not want have me get those, right?
- 47:39SPEAKER_03: Like, so we we second guess what God is doing, but he's the author and the finisher, he's the beginning and the end.
- 47:46SPEAKER_03: He created heaven and earth.
- 47:48SPEAKER_03: How can we second guess what God is doing?
- 47:53SPEAKER_03: All he wants is us to send our prayers to him.
- 47:57SPEAKER_03: We that's that's our way of saying, God, I'm giving it to you.
- 48:01SPEAKER_03: You said you, you, you, you, you sat at his feet for three years.
- 48:04SPEAKER_03: Um, most of us don't have time to do that, right?
- 48:07SPEAKER_03: But so one of the biggest things you learned was lay it all down, lay it all down, cast your burdens at his three, come to me, all ye who are are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- 48:18SPEAKER_03: So he is saying, just lay it down.
- 48:21SPEAKER_03: You know, they talk about the backpack that's full of all your sin and all the worries and all the fear and all the doubts.
- 48:26SPEAKER_03: It's just like take that backpack off, put it down, and then trust him.
- 48:32SPEAKER_03: Trust him.
- 48:34SPEAKER_03: Our timing most times never looks like his.
- 48:40SPEAKER_03: That is really one of my favorite scriptures is trust in the Lord.
- 48:45SPEAKER_03: Um, sorry, how does it go now?
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: Uh Proverbs and all your mind.
- 48:51SPEAKER_03: Yes, trust in the Lord with all your heart and all your mind, and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.
- 49:01SPEAKER_03: If we can just trust him instead of myself, the world, the doctor, the enemy, my boss, my, you know, like our life is not gonna look like the world's.
- 49:13SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 49:14SPEAKER_03: We should stand out if Jesus is shining through us.
- 49:20SPEAKER_03: If right?
- 49:21SPEAKER_03: People should be magnetized to Jesus shining through us.
- 49:25SPEAKER_02: They should want what what what we have because of who Jesus is.
- 49:29SPEAKER_03: Amen.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: You know, when people say I want to be like you, and I say, then you you should want to be like Jesus, because that's who I strive to be like.
- 49:35SPEAKER_02: You know, I want to be the the disciple that sits at his feet and and I want to be the Mary.
- 49:40SPEAKER_02: I was a Martha for years.
- 49:42SPEAKER_02: I was so distracted.
- 49:43SPEAKER_02: And and I let everything, I worked two, three jobs, and I remember my kids saying, Mom, you're never home.
- 49:48SPEAKER_02: We don't even know who you are.
- 49:49SPEAKER_02: You know, and yet they would want stuff they had needs.
- 49:52SPEAKER_02: And um, funny story, real quick, I'll share with you.
- 49:55SPEAKER_02: I came home one day and my son was like, Mom, I'm sick and tired of you working.
- 49:58SPEAKER_02: You need to just stay home.
- 50:00SPEAKER_02: And so I went over and I I turned off his his, I think he was playing the Xbox or PlayStation or something.
- 50:05SPEAKER_02: I turned it off and started doing all this stuff, and he's like, Hey, hey, what are you doing?
- 50:08SPEAKER_02: I said, Well, this is me not working.
- 50:10SPEAKER_02: And I started taking stuff away.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: And he goes, He he goes, No, no, no, have a good day at work, Mom.
- 50:15SPEAKER_02: Have a good day at work, mom.
- 50:18SPEAKER_02: He he finally figured it out while I was working.
- 50:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 50:21SPEAKER_02: I go, This, you know, it it's one way or the other, you can't have both all the time, you know.
- 50:24SPEAKER_02: Sometimes we want that.
- 50:26SPEAKER_02: I would love to sit and spend time with you.
- 50:27SPEAKER_02: But I know if I stayed home and I and all you were doing is gaming, we wouldn't be spending time together anyway, you'd be playing your game.
- 50:33SPEAKER_02: But but there were times that I know that my kids missed out on having me around, you know.
- 50:38SPEAKER_02: And I I remember my daughter saying that, yeah, we she's like, I don't remember, you know, doing a lot with with you other than on vacations because you just weren't home.
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: You worked all the time.
- 50:47SPEAKER_02: But I was a single mom of three kids and I wanted to make sure my kids were provided for, you know.
- 50:52SPEAKER_02: And sometimes that looked like two or three jobs, you know.
- 50:55SPEAKER_02: And so anyway, um that's another um talk for another day, but we could go on and on.
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: So, but yeah, I just wanted to know if um today for our listeners, um, thank you for your testimony, by the way, Tracy.
- 51:08SPEAKER_02: It it's it's really it was really powerful.
- 51:11SPEAKER_02: It means a lot that you were willing to bring it to the table and share it.
- 51:16SPEAKER_02: And um, I just wanted to know if because you love to intercede in prayer, if as we go into our closing is if if you would pray for our listeners and pray for this podcast and and praise out um so we can um close up and um finish our day with whatever else we have on our plates, if you don't mind.
- 51:35SPEAKER_03: For sure, for sure.
- 51:36SPEAKER_03: Father God, Lord Jesus, we thank you, Lord.
- 51:39SPEAKER_03: We thank you for this crushing strongholds podcast, Lord, and we pray, Lord, that anybody listening today would feel your presence, your peace and your power, that you would embrace them where they're at, that they would know that you are real, you are powerful, you are all knowing, that you already know what they're going through.
- 52:04SPEAKER_03: Lord Jesus, whatever stronghold that is keeping them from living the life that you have set before him, whether for them to be the man of God or the woman of God that you created them to be, Lord, whatever's holding them back, I pray, Lord, that you would reveal it to them and they would be able to release it to you and say, Jesus, have your way in my life.
- 52:33SPEAKER_03: Father God, especially if anybody's suffering from a chronic diagnosis, Lord, I just pray in Jesus' name right now that they would recognize that that's not from you.
- 52:45SPEAKER_03: And that any sickness, illness, disease, that we know it comes from the enemy.
- 52:50SPEAKER_03: So we thank you, God, that in Jesus' name, that by your stripes we were healed.
- 52:56SPEAKER_03: I just pray for healing, wholeness, and health for everybody listening, Lord, that you would touch them in a supernatural way, Lord.
- 53:03SPEAKER_03: And Father God, if they don't see that miraculous healing right away, that it is on the way and their words would speak, their actions would speak, and their heart would feel and they wouldn't be double-minded.
- 53:18SPEAKER_03: Lord, I pray that any fear that they have, that you would replace it with faith and any doubts that they have, Lord, that you would show them who you are and what you're capable of doing.
- 53:34SPEAKER_03: Father God, we thank you, we praise you, and we give you all the honor and glory in Jesus' mighty name.
- 53:41SPEAKER_03: Amen.
- 53:42SPEAKER_02: Amen.
- 53:43SPEAKER_02: Amen and amen.
- 53:44SPEAKER_02: That was wonderful.
- 53:45SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for praying for this podcast and and for everyone listening.
- 53:50SPEAKER_02: Um with that being said, I mean what a great way to um end our our conversation today.
- 53:57SPEAKER_02: I want to thank you again for I actually got to meet you face to face.
- 54:01SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 54:02SPEAKER_02: Um, you've you've prayed for me before, and I appreciate all the prayers that you've um you've sent my way.
- 54:08SPEAKER_02: And um I've prayed for you.
- 54:10SPEAKER_02: Um, I know you've gone through a couple of things this last month that have been kind of tough for you.
- 54:14SPEAKER_02: So I've been keeping you in my prayers as well.
- 54:15SPEAKER_02: I just want to let you know that.
- 54:17SPEAKER_02: Um I think it's important that we pray for people, even if they don't know it.
- 54:20SPEAKER_02: You do you sometimes I don't tell everybody I'm praying for them.
- 54:23SPEAKER_02: I just if God lays them on my heart, I'll say a prayer for them, you know.
- 54:26SPEAKER_02: I don't pick up my phone and go, hey, I'm praying for you all the time.
- 54:29SPEAKER_02: Because I think sometimes God wants us to keep that um to ourselves, you know, um, so he can do what he's gotta do.
- 54:36SPEAKER_02: But I love testimonies um that lead people to Jesus.
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: And I and I know that you probably have more.
- 54:40SPEAKER_02: I hope that maybe you'd love to come back and share a couple more testimonies with our listeners because I would love that.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, for our listeners today.
- 54:49SPEAKER_02: Um, Tracy, will you tell people where they can find you?
- 54:52SPEAKER_03: Okay, so I uh my website is TLCcoaching.ca.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Gotcha.
- 55:01SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 55:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 55:02SPEAKER_02: That was really simple.
- 55:03unknown: Yes.
- 55:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, really simple to remember that.
- 55:06SPEAKER_02: I will put um that information in the show notes too.
- 55:08SPEAKER_02: So if anybody's um needing or or wanting um prayer, um reach out to Tracy.
- 55:14SPEAKER_02: Also, you can reach out to myself at Crushing Strongholds.
- 55:16SPEAKER_02: There is a place on my website for prayer.
- 55:18SPEAKER_02: You could request prayer.
- 55:20SPEAKER_02: Um, if you just fill out the information, the contact information, um, you can just put in the notes, hey, I need prayer for something.
- 55:26SPEAKER_02: Um, I'll pray for you instantly as soon as I have your message.
- 55:29SPEAKER_02: I will be glad to pray for you.
- 55:30SPEAKER_02: I do not mind praying for anyone that needs it.
- 55:33SPEAKER_02: Um, I believe that we are to lift one another up, um, straighten each other's crowns, um, pick people up off the ground, whatever it is that we're supposed to be doing, I think that we're supposed to be the hands and feet of Jesus as as often as we can.
- 55:45SPEAKER_02: And um I believe that God does bless us when we do walk that path.
- 55:49SPEAKER_02: But for our listeners, I want to say thank you.
- 55:51SPEAKER_02: Um I hope you enjoyed having Tracy come on and share her testimony.
- 55:54SPEAKER_02: It was wonderful.
- 55:55SPEAKER_02: I was so excited to hear it today.
- 55:57SPEAKER_02: I couldn't wait.
- 55:58SPEAKER_02: Um, and again, Tracy, I thank you.
- 56:00SPEAKER_02: And um I just hope and pray that you all have a great day.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: You all take care, and until we meet again, this is Crushing Strongholds, and I just thank you for being a part of it.
