- 0:00Speaker 1: Thinks that must go on the radio.
- 0:08Speaker 2: These are things that are bugging you, our dear, dear,
- 0:11Speaker 2: dear friends of the program, things that you just can't
- 0:14Speaker 2: stand anymore. And so you think I'm at my wits end.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I know. I'll put it down in an email and
- 0:22Speaker 2: send it to Radio from Hell. Maybe that'll make you
- 0:24Speaker 2: feel better if you just write it down. So send
- 0:27Speaker 2: us an email with your list of things that must
- 0:28Speaker 2: go and send it to Radio from Hell at X
- 0:31Speaker 2: ninety six dot com. You put muscle on the subject line,
- 0:33Speaker 2: and if we read yours, it might make you feel better.
- 0:36Speaker 2: And sometimes sometimes these things do magically disappear from people's lives.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Carry you want to go first.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Okay, I'll start with a few from the foot of
- 0:45Speaker 3: Mount Dew. Too much crap on top of the bread.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Oh, I think I know what you mean.
- 0:52Speaker 3: You when you go to the bakery and you buy
- 0:55Speaker 3: the the bread with you know sometimes there's cheese crumbles
- 0:59Speaker 3: on top ormary.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Or something seated bread.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh that's and it's right on top. Yeah it
- 1:06Speaker 3: looks pretty. I get that, but it's gonna fall off
- 1:09Speaker 3: the second that I bite into it, and it's gonna
- 1:11Speaker 3: make my hands messy. Mix that stuff into the dough.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Oh just a suggestion. Also, when you thought you started
- 1:19Speaker 3: the washer but you actually paused it, So now your
- 1:23Speaker 3: timing of the washer and dryer stopping at the same
- 1:26Speaker 3: time as wealf. Let's see this one from a headshrinker
- 1:30Speaker 3: Heather and Bountiful.
- 1:32Speaker 2: You can use my name.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Things of us go. Poorly worded and completely unhelpful emergency alerts.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Oh oh, this is from yesterday.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Mandatory evacuation is only for West Bountiful within two thousand
- 1:45Speaker 3: feet of eleven hundred west and fourteen hundred north. Left
- 1:48Speaker 3: me with more questions than answers, beginning with what emergency evacuation?
- 1:55Speaker 3: If you're gonna disturb my peace with a jarring emergency alert,
- 1:58Speaker 3: at least tell me what's happening in the first place.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Thank you for the attention in this matter. This one
- 2:04Speaker 3: from Suzanne A holes who always have to break glass
- 2:09Speaker 3: beer bottles at every campsite or forest anywhere they go.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yeah, you throw them in the fire and then.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Please make it go away and make them grow up,
- 2:19Speaker 3: or allow me to bust the bottles over their heads
- 2:21Speaker 3: in a place where it won't litter the environment. I
- 2:24Speaker 3: could go to their house, all right, this one from Kathy.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Let's see who people that slow down to a crawl,
- 2:34Speaker 3: especially in larger vehicles, to go over the raised crosswalks.
- 2:38Speaker 3: They're not speed bumps. You can go over them at
- 2:41Speaker 3: the speed limit.
- 2:42Speaker 4: I always slow down.
- 2:45Speaker 3: The lady that sits in her car and smokes on
- 2:47Speaker 3: eighth East and throws her butts on the ground, smoke
- 2:51Speaker 3: at home, or at least pick up your butts.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I walk my dog along here.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Every day, let's see. And then this one from Ian
- 3:02Speaker 3: and Sandy earworms must go. For about a week now,
- 3:06Speaker 3: my brain has oscillated between two lines from Joni Mitchell's
- 3:10Speaker 3: Big Yellow Taxi and two lines from Harry Styles Sign
- 3:12Speaker 3: of the Times, but specifically the slow karaoke version for
- 3:16Speaker 3: Project Hail Mary. Let's see when even when it's songs
- 3:22Speaker 3: that I love, they can become too much and listening
- 3:25Speaker 3: to the track does not make it leave. My forgetfulness
- 3:28Speaker 3: must go. I left it outside garbage can lid open,
- 3:32Speaker 3: meaning to run one more trip out, but I didn't return,
- 3:35Speaker 3: and so the lid remained up, and I collected all
- 3:37Speaker 3: this rain again. And let's see the fact that I
- 3:41Speaker 3: can't find on Google where the drop came from. That
- 3:45Speaker 3: Carrie plays where they repeat Dave about eighty three times
- 3:48Speaker 3: with various inflatation Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave. I don't remember
- 3:56Speaker 3: where all right, all right, Gina.
- 4:01Speaker 4: In my neighborhood, I brought this up before, there are
- 4:04Speaker 4: yield signs. Yes, yield signs mean traffic going this way,
- 4:09Speaker 4: you stop and take a look, and if anybody's coming you.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Go the other way.
- 4:13Speaker 4: You just keep going. And everyone in my neighborhood treats
- 4:16Speaker 4: them as four way stops. That's weird and I hate it.
- 4:20Speaker 4: This one from Marion in West Valley City. Dear lords,
- 4:23Speaker 4: My husband took me to see Phantom of the Opera
- 4:25Speaker 4: at Eccheles on Saturday. All the tickets were not cheap.
- 4:28Speaker 4: We were happy to pay to see well trained, well
- 4:30Speaker 4: rehearsed professional actors, singers, dancers, and a beautifully produced performance.
- 4:34Speaker 4: What we didn't pay for was the hag sitting two
- 4:36Speaker 4: seeks away from us, singing along for the entire showg
- 4:41Speaker 4: She had other adjectives there that I left out. When
- 4:45Speaker 4: I first heard her, I tried not to pay attention,
- 4:47Speaker 4: thinking it was just a moment of thoughtlessness.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh it wasn't.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Twice I leaned out past her husband to give her
- 4:52Speaker 4: a crusty look. I know he noticed, but she didn't
- 4:55Speaker 4: seem to. She's sang the entire time. Maybe this wouldn't
- 4:58Speaker 4: be so bad if she was a good singer, but
- 5:00Speaker 4: she wasn't.
- 5:01Speaker 2: You should just be happy for her.
- 5:03Speaker 4: I have two muscoes from this, one the hag with
- 5:05Speaker 4: the terrible voice who thinks people paid one hundred and
- 5:07Speaker 4: fifty dollars to listen to her, and me not daring
- 5:10Speaker 4: to say anything because I couldn't think of a rude,
- 5:12Speaker 4: sarcastic thing to say to her, even though she was
- 5:15Speaker 4: being supremely rude. Your lords, make it go with let's see.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Thanks for letting me listen and letting me vent. I
- 5:23Speaker 4: have a few things on my mind that must go.
- 5:25Speaker 3: First.
- 5:25Speaker 4: I don't understand why people are impressed when someone gets
- 5:28Speaker 4: the wordle on the first try. That's just luck. You
- 5:30Speaker 4: simply guessed a five letter word.
- 5:32Speaker 2: It's much more.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Challenging to solve it the second or third attempt.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Second, I'm fed up by people who don't pick up
- 5:38Speaker 4: after their dogs. At the elementary school in my neighborhood,
- 5:41Speaker 4: the childdren actually made a poster and hung it on
- 5:43Speaker 4: the fence to shame these lazy people. I hope it
- 5:46Speaker 4: works after all. And lastly, University of Utah parking Service
- 5:49Speaker 4: definitely needs to go. And then this one my thing
- 5:53Speaker 4: that must go. Lords When you're a little larger lady
- 5:56Speaker 4: and you have to try and dresses for a wedding
- 5:57Speaker 4: and you try and address and can't zip it. The
- 5:59Speaker 4: sale lady says that dress runs a little small, and
- 6:03Speaker 4: you have to buy a dress three times larger than
- 6:05Speaker 4: my useral size. It's a real blow to my self esteem.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Can't we just have universal size?
- 6:10Speaker 2: All right? Here's a killer's edited list of things that
- 6:15Speaker 2: must go. These are from Killer. Number one unvaccinated kids
- 6:20Speaker 2: we had measles whipped two. Crappy repair of road and
- 6:23Speaker 2: lines that go anywhere. If you follow the lines on
- 6:25Speaker 2: thirteen South and two fifteen, you'll die. Number four apartment
- 6:30Speaker 2: builders that don't make enough parking stalls. Yes, I can't
- 6:34Speaker 2: park on the road in front of my house. I
- 6:36Speaker 2: got a park somewhere. Number five people who do not
- 6:39Speaker 2: watch their kids in public. I'm eating lunch in a
- 6:41Speaker 2: nice place and these ass ats next to me are
- 6:43Speaker 2: running all over and yelling. And the ass hats don't
- 6:46Speaker 2: do nothing about it. People need to watch their kids.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Number six people who try to butt in line because
- 6:52Speaker 2: they think they're neater or busier than you. Number seven
- 6:56Speaker 2: police officers that have no sense of humor. Number eight
- 7:00Speaker 2: police officers that make jokes while your world is falling
- 7:03Speaker 2: apart as you're being arrested. Number nine police officers that
- 7:07Speaker 2: come over and they tell you about your actions and
- 7:10Speaker 2: remind you how dumb your actions are. Just arrest me
- 7:14Speaker 2: and take me to jail. Number ten judges that have
- 7:18Speaker 2: no sense of humor. And it goes on for another time.
- 7:25Speaker 2: We'll get to the rest of them. Killer. Thank you
- 7:27Speaker 2: for sending your muscgoes to radio from Hell at x
- 7:31Speaker 2: ninety six
- 7:31Speaker 1: Dot com thinks that must go on the radioson
