Transcript
- 0:14Hello and welcome to Arguing Ever After.
- 0:16I am Luke and this is my angelic wife, Amber.
- 0:20Hello. Together we are the Lord and
- 0:23Lady who lock horns. The count and Countess of
- 0:26contention. The Duke and Duchess of
- 0:28Disagreement. And the king and queen of
- 0:31quarrels. We have been together since
- 0:33making a mixtape on cassette was a sign of true love.
- 0:38We've argued about pretty much everything and we're still
- 0:41together and happy. In this entertainment only
- 0:44podcast, we will bicker about all things big and small and the
- 0:48audience gets the final say on who the winner is.
- 0:51We do not claim to be relationship experts by any
- 0:54means. We will debate lots of things,
- 0:56many of which are frequently submitted by our listeners, so
- 1:00if you have a topic you would like us to quarrel over before
- 1:02you do it at home, please send it to us at
- 1:04arguingeverafter@gmail.com. Perhaps this completely
- 1:08unscientific method of letting the masses decide who the winner
- 1:12is can help settle your fight before you even have it.
- 1:16And so here we are at episode number 99.
- 1:22Wow. In German, that's no.
- 1:24I was thinking the same thing. Nine.
- 1:27It's no way we've made it to 9. That's pretty awesome.
- 1:31It is awesome. Yeah, it's been pretty bonkers
- 1:37to think about the fact that we've been able to do this
- 1:40successfully for 9 weeks in a row.
- 1:44Plus the two bonus episodes that we've prerecorded for disasters.
- 1:47Right, right, +2 bonus episodes. And all of this during a very
- 1:53busy summer. We've we've been able to commit
- 1:56to something which is awesome. And our viewers have committed
- 2:01too. I mean, we've had a lot of
- 2:03repeat viewers, which is a lot of fun for us.
- 2:07And we said last time we're going to continue shouting out a
- 2:10couple places. And our two new states are
- 2:15California 'cause they know how to party.
- 2:18They do know how to party in California.
- 2:20Yeah, and Rhode Island, because they want to get in on the fun,
- 2:22too. We've got the literally maybe
- 2:25they're not the biggest. It's the tallest state and the
- 2:28smallest state. Pretty fantastic I accepting
- 2:33Alaska. I think Alaska's bigger.
- 2:35But California's super tall. Yeah, Yeah.
- 2:38Well. So I mean, that's totally
- 2:43amazing to us that there's people across the country.
- 2:46Are we at 20 yet? What's?
- 2:47I don't know. I can't count that.
- 2:49Hat that's a lot of numbers. We're gonna be in trouble.
- 2:51I don't think we're at 20. We're getting close though.
- 2:52I feel like that looks like maybe 17 or 18 on.
- 2:55The well, we're, I mean, we're coast to coast now.
- 2:58That's true. I mean we have been.
- 2:59But now we're really like that's locked in, locked in and and
- 3:04North and South. What's the South do we have like
- 3:08Florida? Oh, look at that.
- 3:10Can you get more South in? Florida.
- 3:12Is Texas more South in Florida? From Canada to the Gulf and from
- 3:15the Atlantic to the Pacific, What's?
- 3:18Up. I think we're nationwide.
- 3:21Yeah. And of course, we still have
- 3:24some worldwide listeners too. So, and in an exciting
- 3:27announcement of our local Quasi fame, our collaboration with the
- 3:34wonderful local band Quirky, who has provided with our theme
- 3:37music, has invited us to be the opener for their next live show.
- 3:43Does that mean we're a band? I think it doesn't mean we're a
- 3:46band, but we're going to be in front of people who like bands,
- 3:50so that could either go really well or really terribly.
- 3:53I know I'm excited for this opportunity to see how our show
- 3:58is live. I mean, as you've picked up, if
- 4:01you're in the ninth episode, it's not like we do that much
- 4:04editing. So I feel like we'll be able to
- 4:06wing this no problem now. Well we pretty much are at like
- 4:090 research and 0 editing so far. Yeah, yeah.
- 4:13And we were. And we were invited to do this
- 4:15show. So that's going to be on, what
- 4:19is that, September 13th? At the white square.
- 4:23At 9:00 PM, get into it. You're a local and you want to
- 4:27come see this magic in person live, which I'm sure is going to
- 4:32be just amazing. Yeah, Come on down.
- 4:35Let us know you're coming. Say something on social media.
- 4:37Send us a message. Yeah, we'd love to see at least
- 4:41two people there. That would be good.
- 4:44That would be larger than our current viewing audience.
- 4:46It really would be. We don't have a live viewing
- 4:48audience right now. We're at 0.
- 4:50Every once in a while, the dog wants to join.
- 4:52Well, every time The dog wants to join, but he also would like
- 4:55to be right here. Yeah, in this area and mostly
- 4:59just on top of her face. And we didn't try, but his pant
- 5:03thing is too loud. It makes it not fun.
- 5:06Although he's way cuter. Yeah, we don't have a way of
- 5:09silencing him. He gets very.
- 5:12Which is probably good because he's he's a fun dog.
- 5:15He is very fun, but I don't know anyhow, so if you, if you're
- 5:19bored or if you're really excited to see if this works
- 5:23live, yeah, it could be our one and only show.
- 5:26Could be it could be the beginning of something.
- 5:29Or if you want to just see here. Wait, great local music that's
- 5:33just show up a little earlier just to try it out?
- 5:36And then much like we comment on the podcast, if you're like,
- 5:39these guys are lame, that's fine.
- 5:41At least you showed up. Yeah, and you'll get a live show
- 5:43of good music after us just talking for a little bit.
- 5:49So I don't know it's worth the shot.
- 5:51It is. So we would love to see a couple
- 5:53people there. Yes, we're totally excited.
- 5:56Yeah, yeah. But just one more thing to add
- 5:58into, you know, all of the things that have added that have
- 6:01made our lives busy and full is great ways for us, you know,
- 6:05full about us, not just our child having a full life and us
- 6:09just, you know. Being an accessory.
- 6:13Yeah, being an accessory and I was going to say kind of
- 6:15drudging to work every day, but I love my job, so it's not quite
- 6:20that. I know it's I, you know.
- 6:23She actually does. I do.
- 6:24I have a really awesome career which I won't talk about at all
- 6:26on this podcast, so. So do I Just side note and I
- 6:31might talk about it at some point.
- 6:32It would make sense for you to talk about you.
- 6:34Maybe I could get them to. They're never going to.
- 6:36It doesn't make any sense to sponsor us.
- 6:38We get, we get like actually famous then.
- 6:41They would. They would jump on board real
- 6:42quick. Like hey.
- 6:43Yeah, I don't know what my work would do if I were to get
- 6:47actually famous. They.
- 6:48Probably. Want to shut it down and say.
- 6:51Oh man. Stay where you are.
- 6:53No I don't think they would. My my work is pretty awesome and
- 6:57supportive so However I was just at a work trip recently.
- 7:03Oh yes, you were. And that it rare.
- 7:06It's very rare for me to leave home ever.
- 7:11And then it's even more rare for me to leave home on a work trip
- 7:15that is overnight. It's It's interesting to see how
- 7:20the household works without me and.
- 7:24It's much easier now that our child is a teenager.
- 7:28Yeah. Much easier.
- 7:30Yeah, when, when I got home after being gone for a few days,
- 7:34it was evident that the dog missed me.
- 7:37I mean, I'm because #1 almost 24 hours a day.
- 7:42So when I came home, my pillow was completely Askew.
- 7:47But apparently I thought it was the dog who had moved the
- 7:49pillow. But it was it was my daughter
- 7:51which was touching and she. Took your pillow?
- 7:53I don't want to embarrass her, but.
- 7:55It was, and the dog. For what it's worth, while he
- 7:57did miss you terribly, no joke, he also really liked your spot
- 8:03in the bed. Yeah, he was like, oh, I can
- 8:06just stretch out all my arms and legs here.
- 8:09Yeah, I mean, he'll do that if if I'm in bed though, too, or if
- 8:13I'm home. He has this thing of like trying
- 8:15to beat me into my spot. It's this fun game for him.
- 8:19But he's also, well, a very nice, sweet, cute dog, a little
- 8:23stubborn and moving out of the way for me to get into the bed
- 8:27is not not that. Easy not having it.
- 8:29No, he wants to be where we are. So the thing that I wanted to
- 8:35kind of talk about though today and while I was on this
- 8:41convention was having all of my own space and how much.
- 8:47Space did you have Here it was. Huge.
- 8:50I don't even want to brag, but it was a lot of space and the
- 8:54thing that was super amazing was having the bathroom completely
- 9:00to myself. And within the space of having
- 9:04the bathroom completely to myself, they have like a lot of
- 9:08hotels, the double sink, you know, or the, you know, the his
- 9:12and hers sink. And I had a wet sink and a dry
- 9:17thing. And I was telling Luke this on
- 9:20the phone and he's like, what is a dry sink?
- 9:22Yeah. What does that even mean?
- 9:24Because it's literally it's made for water.
- 9:27Why? What's a What is a dry sink?
- 9:30Please tell the tell the audience who doesn't have a clue
- 9:33what you're. Talking.
- 9:33I mean, it's just a sink that you don't turn on and things can
- 9:37fall into, and it's not the end of the world.
- 9:40So like what items do you place around the dry sink versus the
- 9:44wet sink? For me personally, yeah, it's my
- 9:48makeup that was around the dry sink.
- 9:50Because if you wear makeup which you don't but I do not did, you
- 9:56would know that you don't want to mix it with water, any of
- 9:59your brushes or anything like that, OK?
- 10:02It's really important to keep those things dry.
- 10:05Like, how often do you accidentally drop a brush into
- 10:09the wet sink at home? Is that a thing that happens?
- 10:13Oh, that's a face. So more often than I'd want to,
- 10:17OK, I don't want to drop a brush ever in that unless I'm cleaning
- 10:23it. So there's that if.
- 10:25You're clean the brushes. Well, yeah, I don't.
- 10:29Know anything about makeup that sounds?
- 10:30Crazy you have to clean the brushes.
- 10:32That probably gross if you didn't.
- 10:33I mean you're putting it on your face.
- 10:35Is it like paint? Much like paint, you have to
- 10:39clean it off when you're done. Well, you should, I mean,
- 10:41otherwise you're going to get. Do you use makeup remover on the
- 10:45brush? Like 'cause you are thinner on a
- 10:47paintbrush. There is like a brush I guess
- 10:52shampoo products that you can use in there.
- 10:55I just thought of something funny when I said you can use
- 10:58paint remover for a paintbrush and we're talking about makeup.
- 11:00I thought of Death Becomes Her, the movie that's.
- 11:04A great movie. That's a great movie.
- 11:07Just spray paint your skin tone right on it because you're dead.
- 11:10Yeah, yeah. And you're not going to actually
- 11:13regenerate, but you are dead and you can live forever and look
- 11:16young forever. Somehow that magic does not
- 11:20create like a regenerating body. I I love that movie that.
- 11:26That was a great premise. For I think that's my favorite
- 11:28Goldie Hawn movie, OK, and probably Bruce Willis movie.
- 11:32And I know I'm gonna get a lot of heat for that because he's he
- 11:35was in a lot. He was in a lot.
- 11:38Is was was. OK.
- 11:41But of course, Meryl Streep, I mean.
- 11:43Yeah, the legendary Meryl Streep.
- 11:45I don't even know where she began, but for me, that's where
- 11:47she began, OK? I'm sure.
- 11:49I don't know either. I'm sure it was before that,
- 11:51yeah. Yeah, I mean, just that was a
- 11:54that was a movie. So if you haven't seen it, go
- 11:58see it. I feel like a lot of our
- 12:00audience has they. Could go see that movie anymore.
- 12:03You probably got to just find it on your home television.
- 12:06Yeah, you probably do. But they made it into a musical
- 12:09production. They did.
- 12:11Yeah, yeah. And if it ever hits our state, I
- 12:14would love to go and maybe they would sponsor a ticket not to
- 12:18future. Potential sponsor the touring
- 12:20Broadway musical. Of death becomes her Yeah, yeah,
- 12:25I I don't even. I would love to hear the musical
- 12:27numbers and I know I could probably just Google it, but I'm
- 12:31not gonna be that. That sounds like a lot of extra
- 12:34work. I wouldn't do so, but just.
- 12:39I don't want to give spoilers away because what if people
- 12:41haven't? It's literally like 20 years
- 12:43old. I think at this point it's OK.
- 12:45I know, but some of our younger audience might not have seen it
- 12:48yet. But I don't think that the
- 12:50spoilers bother the young kids as much or the young adults as
- 12:54much. I feel like they like a spoiler
- 12:55and they're like oh that sounds cool I'll watch it.
- 12:58That's a good question. And let's see if does the
- 13:01younger audience and what is younger to you?
- 13:03By oof, I don't actually know the answer sub 25.
- 13:09OK, there's a one group that we have not hit in the.
- 13:12Or demographics we're talking about now we're coast to coast,
- 13:15north to South. Yeah, we've got zero to 10 or
- 13:20something. We've got.
- 13:22This is the they give us metrics on the on the Spotify creators
- 13:26thing where like it says the demographics.
- 13:29So we've got like up to there's one that's like 60 plus or 65
- 13:33plus or something they represent and then there's like a zero to
- 13:3717 or. 17 Yep. And we've got folks in there.
- 13:40Yep. What we're missing is from 23 to
- 13:4327. That's a short little gap.
- 13:47It's a very powerful gap in, I don't know because they have not
- 13:50watched or listen. Why does a four year gap of
- 13:53people get their own category? I don't know.
- 13:56However, if you know someone in that age gap, yeah, please share
- 14:01this with them. Especially if they're thinking
- 14:03about getting married because. And tell them they should do
- 14:05something nice for the elderly and that would be watching our
- 14:08show. We're the elderly in.
- 14:10This, I mean, for them, yeah, he was just.
- 14:12Offended all the elderly? No, he didn't.
- 14:15Oh, OK. How did I offend the?
- 14:17Elderly. I know you got real high pitched
- 14:18just now so I. Don't think I did.
- 14:20You might not have. If I was older, I would love to
- 14:23be grouped in with the younger group.
- 14:26Maybe, maybe everybody care because.
- 14:28You know, we'll say from what I've witnessed of the elderly,
- 14:30and by that I mean for the most part our parents, they don't,
- 14:34they don't seem as easily offended.
- 14:37I, I think it depends. But you know what?
- 14:40Again, again, we're not starting an age war.
- 14:43That's true. That's how that is way too
- 14:45controversial for our show in my opinion.
- 14:49Well, none of them are as old as Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep
- 14:52were in that movie when they spray painted their makeup and
- 14:54their bodies. Still young, but none of them
- 14:57were as old as the woman who gave them the formula.
- 15:02She was. She was ancient.
- 15:03She was ancient and gorgeous. What's that?
- 15:06What's her name? Isabel.
- 15:07What's? What's her?
- 15:08Name. You're going to say a name and
- 15:09it's the face disease where you think.
- 15:11Isabel Rossellini is that? No, probably not, but that's a
- 15:14person. I think.
- 15:16Just so you all know, I don't know if we've said this before
- 15:19and it needs to be said, Amber will randomly remember a person
- 15:24who's an actor or actress, remember that random person's
- 15:28name, and then just assume it's a like a multiple set of people
- 15:32that looks sort of like, like, oh, is she pale in complexion,
- 15:38has dark hair and is, you know, movie star level attractive And
- 15:42between the ages of 35 and 50, it's these seven people and
- 15:47they're all this. She would probably throw that
- 15:49name. Yeah, 'cause that could be, I
- 15:51think. I got 1 and I set her.
- 15:54That's just the one. Yeah, OK.
- 15:56But I mean, if you were going not pale, I'm sure I have like 3
- 16:00then. OK, so you know four people.
- 16:03Yes. But you're gonna think it's 20
- 16:05people is my point. There's that other one.
- 16:07She was also kind of pale, and she was in maybe Robin Hood.
- 16:12Also gorgeous, that English actress.
- 16:16Let's get a name going because I'm excited.
- 16:18I'm not, I have no idea her name.
- 16:22Yeah, but she was in a lot of things for a little while now.
- 16:24Which Robin Hood? Because there's been about 12.
- 16:26No the the 1 Prince of Thieves. OK.
- 16:29That's the one with Kevin Cosman.
- 16:31Yeah, yeah. And Morgan Freeman, yes, and
- 16:35that one English lady. There was 2 though.
- 16:37No, Well, I mean. You're talking about the one
- 16:40that was Maid Marian? Yeah, OK.
- 16:42I don't know who that was. I I think it's the woman.
- 16:46Is it the same person from The Princess Bride?
- 16:49No Robin, right? Oh, you're right.
- 16:52That's a different person. I know she had curly hair, the
- 16:54one you're talking about in the movie.
- 16:56I don't know if that was movie or natural, but.
- 16:59Yeah, she was in a lot of things during that period.
- 17:01So I don't know. There's someone out there who
- 17:04knows the answer, and there's probably someone out there who's
- 17:06Googling the answer. And either way, it won't matter
- 17:10because I won't remember her name when I think of another
- 17:12movie she was in. You got to stop saying the G
- 17:15word because we might spark off a bunch of random searches
- 17:18around the house. Yeah, OK.
- 17:21I'm I didn't know what T word I. Said keep it safe.
- 17:24People, that's fine. It can certainly do.
- 17:26It should do more. It should work.
- 17:28I mean, my gosh. But it doesn't all the time.
- 17:30Wouldn't it be nice if it did? I don't know.
- 17:32Anyhow, that has nothing to do with what we're talking about.
- 17:35That's true. We were talking about beautiful
- 17:38women and makeup. We were we were talking about
- 17:41beautiful women and makeup. So anyhow, so my brushes like I
- 17:47was saying they stayed dry. OK, because she had a dry sink.
- 17:51Because I had AI mean really honest.
- 17:53I want this to be a thing so bad.
- 17:55Like if you're, let's say you go to a makeup studio or a salon,
- 17:58whatever they would call that. Does the artist have like
- 18:02literally a dry sink? This was just something I
- 18:05made-up. I honestly wish that there was
- 18:07instead of the two sinks. OK, I wish the whole thing would
- 18:11have been. Just one sink.
- 18:13But but a really long countertop.
- 18:15Massively long top. Yes, yes, OK.
- 18:18But they do. It's nice that hotels will
- 18:21sometimes put in two sinks so that you have, you know, I have
- 18:25my spot and you would know you have your spot and you don't mix
- 18:30spots. Well, first of all, you do,
- 18:33because I don't have a spot even in a hotel that has a long large
- 18:38countertop. You do have a spot.
- 18:40OK, I've been in the hotel. Yeah, you have a spot.
- 18:43I have a spot it. Just moves around because it's
- 18:46in the way. But you shouldn't move it
- 18:47around, it should. No, my stuff moves around.
- 18:49I don't move it around. Oh, that's OK.
- 18:51It's. Being moved.
- 18:53OK, because you put it everywhere that's not true.
- 18:56And you say this space is mine and this space is mine and this
- 19:00space is mine and this space is mine.
- 19:02It's. Not true and very organized.
- 19:03You're not at all. You think you are well, but you
- 19:06like to like I say, OK, here's my spot and I put my stuff there
- 19:10and then you're like great, but I'm also going to put my stuff
- 19:13there. So that's probably why your
- 19:14stuff moves, because. Cuz I put it in your spot.
- 19:17You encroached my space. Yeah I see.
- 19:19So I was supposed to use the other, the non existent part.
- 19:23No, there this check it exists. It exists is the point.
- 19:26OK, there's like it it. I do have more stuff, I mean,
- 19:30I'll give you that. I I do, there's a lot more that
- 19:33goes into making the space. Yeah, this, this space over
- 19:36here. It just needs some stuff to
- 19:39shave it every once. In a while.
- 19:41And your shaving stuff's pretty big.
- 19:43Well, your razor. Your the size of a normal razor.
- 19:47I know, but then your big old like shaving cream.
- 19:51Shaving cream, your trimmer, your I don't always beard oil,
- 19:56your brush, your beard brush. Just a lot.
- 20:00I don't usually bring all that stuff with.
- 20:02I feel like it's always there, Your Cologne, your.
- 20:06Are you gonna always bring that? You do free, you do most of the
- 20:09time your deodorant. So you have your items are all
- 20:12bigger like my stuff tiny and fixing a little bag and then I
- 20:19have another bag that's larger. Which has stuff like oh, hair
- 20:23dryer that's. Why I put my hair dryer in
- 20:25there, I don't know. That's a separate item.
- 20:27Depends on the vacation. You know it will never go into
- 20:30the bag. You're talking about my little
- 20:31black travel bag that has. Oh no, I just been in general
- 20:34sometimes. Yeah, I honestly, I prefer
- 20:37having my own hair dryer because the hair dryers in hotel rooms
- 20:41are very low wattage. Yeah, which I'm sure is great
- 20:45for them to save electricity and I'm sure they're really
- 20:48inexpensive and my hair dryer is not an expensive hair dryer.
- 20:51However, I don't want to be taking twice as long to dry my
- 20:55hair on vacation as I would at home and they're not that big.
- 21:01So I and anytime I have not brought a hair dryer, it's been,
- 21:07it's been when they don't have a hair dryer in that room for
- 21:09whatever reason. And you know, it'll be like, or
- 21:12it won't work and you don't necessarily realize it's not
- 21:15working until you go to dry your hair And you're like, great.
- 21:21Now I have to wait until someone comes, which again, sounds like
- 21:25a boozy problem, but but with certain haircuts you need to be
- 21:32able to style in the time frame of what to dry that you need to
- 21:35be able to style. OK, There's no air drying this
- 21:39hair, no. Not I mean it can, I've seen it.
- 21:43And I know it gets a. Little WAVY.
- 21:45A little I yeah, I don't know, I I, I definitely prefer to just
- 21:51dry it right away. So anyhow, that's why I always
- 21:54wear a hair dryer, because then I know it's gonna work for me
- 21:58and. Friends there.
- 21:59It also just happens to be larger than my stuff, which is
- 22:02fine. Yeah, I mean, yeah, but I can
- 22:04come off the counter. That's the thing.
- 22:06I can bring stuff off the counter and put it elsewhere.
- 22:10But you never knew. You just leave it there.
- 22:13I'm like, oh, I realize that I'm in your space, so I need to move
- 22:17this or my straightener. I realize that I'm in your
- 22:20space, so I need to move this. You're making yourself sound
- 22:23like you're just so chivalrous. I mean, I when you're sharing
- 22:27space in a hotel room and you have no other choices, Yeah.
- 22:32Plus we have a whole third person in our household that's
- 22:35sharing the same bathroom. Let's not bring her into this
- 22:37just yet. I just want to point out that
- 22:40what you believe you do and what you actually do are two very
- 22:43different things. So I think you're I'm.
- 22:47Going to start taking pictures just for evidence to be like
- 22:50look what you did. But please do no problem because
- 22:54then I'll take pictures as I. Actually thought about taking
- 22:56pictures this week while we were leading up to this episode to
- 22:59point out how much real estate you occupy.
- 23:03I know, I know. I'm not saying I don't.
- 23:07That's the thing. I'm not saying I don't occupy a
- 23:10lot of real estate. I've I maybe, maybe I did in the
- 23:14beginning. I might have said, but you also
- 23:15do. That's not true.
- 23:18You do. I have no commerce space except
- 23:20for it all goes back in the in the cupboard.
- 23:23Yeah, mine does. Nope.
- 23:25No, no it doesn't. But.
- 23:27A lot of it does. OK, but most of it doesn't.
- 23:31No. I would.
- 23:32Actually tell you that if you think most of it doesn't.
- 23:35You know, you do have that bowl like apothecary below the sink.
- 23:39I kind of forget about that and it's.
- 23:41Full. It's full.
- 23:42It's. Full.
- 23:43And it's not just full of you have that and there's lots of
- 23:46things. You have the the counter top.
- 23:48It is like all love your bathroom or personal care items.
- 23:52So yes, I mean it is certainly full.
- 23:56Yeah. But but it's in there, so it's.
- 24:00So my counter space occupying zone is like, these are the
- 24:05things that I don't put away. I could, but I don't.
- 24:08I feel like everyone leaves out their toothbrush and toothpaste.
- 24:12Pretty much everywhere you go, you see that.
- 24:15So toothbrush, toothpaste, there's a I have a little like a
- 24:19nasal spray thing. The the allergy, I can't
- 24:22remember what it's called a little.
- 24:24There you go. It's a little.
- 24:25Sponsor us? Just kidding.
- 24:26Not necessary. It's a little, just a little
- 24:29tiny little squirt bottle. So toothbrush, toothpaste,
- 24:35squirt, bottle, mouthwash, and then there's like a little cup
- 24:39for water. There's also a machine that like
- 24:42cleans out your braces. That's for our kids retainer.
- 24:47Also you. No, no, that's not fair.
- 24:50So. Do you not use it?
- 24:53Sometimes I actually don't frequently use it OK.
- 24:57But you use it. So for those audio only
- 25:02listeners, just to clarify, I have currently I'm on like way
- 25:06too long a year and a half or something.
- 25:08I have Invisalign and you rotate those like every week.
- 25:12So you don't really like you clean them daily, but you don't
- 25:15have to do like the ultrasonic deep clean unless you have it
- 25:19for a like a longer span of time.
- 25:22So that's happened a few times where they like have to
- 25:24resituate the the braces or whatever and they print a new
- 25:28design thing for your teeth. So it takes like a month or two
- 25:32for them to do that. Those are the times typically
- 25:35when I'll use the cleaner. I was just gonna say even the
- 25:38video audience is not gonna notice they have Invisalign.
- 25:41Well, that's fair. So and.
- 25:44I don't wear them during the podcast cuz it makes my s s
- 25:48sound a little different. Interesting.
- 25:50I didn't. Felt I did not.
- 25:53For the most part, I don't care, But I care about you, listener.
- 25:56You. You one singular listener
- 25:59somewhere out there. Yeah, I was not annoyed by the
- 26:02SSII get annoyed when I go through and I hear certain
- 26:06sounds. So hopefully we clear up most of
- 26:08those things before you get to them, but.
- 26:10Yeah, now we've figured out a little better our audio editing.
- 26:14Yeah, we keep getting a little slightly better, I think.
- 26:19Yeah, maybe by like episode 50, we'll sound like we know what
- 26:22we're doing. That's a lot of pressure 50.
- 26:25Well, it's going to take us. I mean we've.
- 26:27Already done 9 episodes. That's why I said 50, because I
- 26:31feel like it's taken us this long and we feel like we're kind
- 26:34of getting there. Yeah.
- 26:36Yeah. So, you know, yeah.
- 26:38I think you're true on. That slow but steady progress.
- 26:41Yeah. Anyway, so back to my counter
- 26:43space. I feel like I could, I covered
- 26:45the whole thing, which like if you put, I don't know, the space
- 26:50of two hands together, that's about what I take up constantly
- 26:54on a countertop. So that's maybe, is it a square
- 26:57foot potentially? I don't know if it's that big,
- 27:0012 by 12, it's probably not that big.
- 27:02It's probably more like 6 by 10 of stuff in just the one
- 27:07bathroom which I share with our child.
- 27:12I wish that I would have measured my space because I feel
- 27:17like that's the space that I take up in the other bathroom
- 27:23because I'm I'm pretty sure that it's just a tiny little corner.
- 27:27It all fits into the. Corner Well, I just described
- 27:29the items, so let's just do an item review.
- 27:31So mouthwash, you have that check it's on a counter.
- 27:34Toothbrush. Yep.
- 27:35Toothpaste. Yep, a cup.
- 27:37Yes. Nasal spray you don't have.
- 27:39That I do OK, no, but I don't, I don't think I'll leave it on the
- 27:42counter. You also have a little counter
- 27:44caddy back corner triangle. Which the toothbrush and
- 27:49toothpaste and cup are all that's fine.
- 27:51That's fine. I'm just, OK, so they're all on
- 27:53that little and that's probably, that's probably like 6 by 6, but
- 27:57it's in a triangle. So yeah, there's more
- 27:59measurements. And then on the other side of
- 28:01the sink is where you have like the mouthwash and some sort of
- 28:05cream. Those always live there.
- 28:07And then there's a whole row from the left sink handle to the
- 28:12end of the countertop that doesn't stay up against the
- 28:15wall. So it's got some some motion of
- 28:18like another 12 to 1512 jars. OK, 6 to 10.
- 28:27No. Oh, for sure.
- 28:28Gosh, we should have counted. No, I'm counting in my head.
- 28:32I have two day frames. Why don't you count for?
- 28:352. Because I got more frames,
- 28:37there's the comb. The comb is always out and
- 28:42there's some other thing that I can't remember that's not one of
- 28:44your one of your many jars. I think it's 6 do.
- 28:48You have 6 jars. Yes.
- 28:50Plus the foot green, plus the mouthwash, plus the corner
- 28:53caddy. That's about 6 inches, yes, plus
- 28:56a comb. Yes.
- 28:57There's no more space left on the counter top.
- 29:01Well, it is a small thing, I'll give you this.
- 29:03It's a small. Bathroom, but it that's true.
- 29:05It's fully occupied though, just that.
- 29:08Yes. And then you have the
- 29:10apothecary. Underneath cuz it's being not
- 29:12all fit on which. Is like, I bet it's like a foot
- 29:14wide by like maybe 3 drawers, 2 feet tall, 2 to 3 feet tall,
- 29:20something like that. It's. 3 drawers.
- 29:22That's under the and then I learned the other day cuz I left
- 29:24my head shaver on the bedside table, which is just outside of
- 29:30our master. That's that's a word for sure
- 29:34our. Owners.
- 29:36Owners suite, Suite bathroom. Yeah, there's like a table right
- 29:43outside the bathroom. Doing my night stand.
- 29:45Her night stand, do you hear that?
- 29:47I forgot my shaver there because I was in a hurry and then when I
- 29:50got home that day it was moved into the bathroom, which is not
- 29:55the one that you have claimed as your own.
- 29:58I'm not. So I just felt personally
- 30:01affronted. You were like, get your stuff
- 30:03off of my stuff. Yes, because I have like, OK, so
- 30:08as far as night stands, like you have a whole another night
- 30:11stand, you could have put stuff on, you have a huge dresser, you
- 30:14could have put your stuff on, but you chose to put it on
- 30:16Myspace, which is actually ends up being my additional counter
- 30:19space when I'm getting ready there it is because there's not
- 30:22enough space on the camera for. Everything that I think to.
- 30:25Do because remember what I said earlier, I was talking about a
- 30:28dry sink. That's true.
- 30:30So I we don't. Have a dry sink.
- 30:32We don't have a dry sink, so I put my makeup brushes and things
- 30:35like that off on the counter or, sorry, on my night stand.
- 30:39And why not? So that it stays dry, of course.
- 30:42Yeah. Because otherwise I'd run stuff
- 30:43and have to buy new stuff. And we're not trying.
- 30:45I mean like how? Big's our sink.
- 30:47I don't know it's sink size normal. 22 by two by two by
- 30:51three, two by three, 3 by 4. I feel like you're making it
- 30:55much bigger than it is. 2 feet's not that big.
- 30:59I don't know this one. I bet it's two by three.
- 31:03I have no idea. So that area, the wet area, and
- 31:07then on the side you have another little section.
- 31:10Yeah. OK.
- 31:12Mm. Hmm.
- 31:12Cool. Yeah.
- 31:13I don't see the problem with that.
- 31:15I know. I mean, here's the thing, like I
- 31:19said, I when I get ready to go out of the house or at night,
- 31:25like there's, there's a lot more steps I take.
- 31:29That's true, and I have commented unendlessly about your
- 31:34face. Yes, last week you said my skin
- 31:37was shiny. And you, you.
- 31:39Yeah, So there's. Oh, and then you told me that
- 31:41the correct terminology was Dewey.
- 31:43Oh, well, yeah. And I don't know if this has
- 31:46always been the thing, but shiny is too shiny.
- 31:48Shiny is too. Shiny as an adjective.
- 31:50Yeah, for skin you don't want to have.
- 31:52Shiny. I just don't have a lot of
- 31:53adjectives for the description of someone else's skin, so I
- 31:56went with shiny because it was shiny, but Dewey is the correct
- 32:00mixture. I would rather.
- 32:02Moisture and not moisture. Not too moist, yeah, not like,
- 32:06see shiny to me, like feels greasy.
- 32:09OK, so like. Sweaty.
- 32:11Well, that would be. That's their level.
- 32:14Yeah, yeah, yeah. You feel sweaty.
- 32:17You work out. I do work out.
- 32:18I haven't at all this week. So I feel really, I'm really
- 32:21feeling it. That's OK.
- 32:23I was at the convention. I could have while I was there,
- 32:26but they had like a it was a really small aerobic room.
- 32:30I don't even know why they say that they have when you have
- 32:33like 2 treadmills and they have. To have it, it's like a thing
- 32:36now, every place has to have it. I I really do appreciate when
- 32:39places have it, but I appreciate it when they have it and like
- 32:42then they have water nearby. This had a lake outside but
- 32:47there is no water nearby. So if you were to get thirsty,
- 32:51you better have brought your own water and not need a refill.
- 32:54Like just suffer. I can't, I can't work out
- 32:57without water. I don't know.
- 33:00So anyhow, with the back to what we were again talking about,
- 33:05it's really easy sometimes to get me off track.
- 33:07And I'm sure you all have learned that by now.
- 33:10But back to what we were talking about with the sinks.
- 33:13And you're complaining about the space?
- 33:17We actually have two other sinks in the house.
- 33:21We've talked about one of them. Yeah, one of them is the one.
- 33:23This is the one I share with our daughter which you all would
- 33:29like me to not share. I mean.
- 33:32Because feels a little ridiculous.
- 33:33The reality is, there's a third bathroom.
- 33:38But here's the thing. OK, so in the in the main, main
- 33:44bathroom, is that what it's called?
- 33:45It's so on our our house is a split level house and the main
- 33:50floor has like the living room, the dining room, the kitchen,
- 33:53the sun room, kids bedroom, master.
- 33:57They don't need a whole blueprint of our house.
- 33:59Well, it's not the end of the world and I'm almost there.
- 34:01So then you get master bedroom, master bedroom, master bathroom,
- 34:04and then we have the main bathroom and owner suite and
- 34:09then the the main bathroom has a really big sink countertop.
- 34:13Like it's probably like. Yeah, that's. 5 or 6, No, it's
- 34:17not 6 feet. It's probably like 5 feet by
- 34:19three feet. Like it's pretty large.
- 34:21It's. Very.
- 34:21Large that's where I leave my my nightly dental and morning stuff
- 34:26with the teeth and the whatever. And then in there we have the
- 34:32machine that you thought was mine.
- 34:33That's actually for our child. That's why we bought it for her
- 34:36retainer. And then she has a, she has like
- 34:39a little water flosser. We actually kind of share that
- 34:42with two different heads and anyway, and then she also has
- 34:46like a little caddy, hers a little larger than yours.
- 34:48I think it's like maybe it's like a 6 by 12.
- 34:53OK. Well, but it's important because
- 34:55we're talking about bathroom space.
- 34:58And then for the most part, the rest of it's sort of an
- 35:00unoccupied space, which is nice because you can spread out your
- 35:04stuff. Like in the morning when I shave
- 35:07either my head or my, I was gonna say face, but it's really,
- 35:13I have a beard. So I shave my cheeks above my
- 35:16beard and my neck below my beard.
- 35:20But so that's I can easily put like my little shaver and the
- 35:24shaving cream and the razor and the aftershave for that event.
- 35:29And then I put it away when I'm done.
- 35:31Yeah, except the one time when you had to move it and it's.
- 35:36Been more than once. And typically most of the time
- 35:40my schedule and our kids schedule don't mix except coming
- 35:45up school starting in a week and it's going to maybe be a
- 35:48problem. So I might have to get up really
- 35:51early. The reason I have this issue
- 35:52with the whole claim of of air quotes we have a third sync is
- 35:57it's just a sync. There's no vanity.
- 36:01So like there's a toilet next to it and I don't want to put
- 36:05really my face stuff on a toilet even though it's clean.
- 36:08It's just feels wrong. And then and then there's the
- 36:12sink, which has like just enough space on the sides for like a
- 36:16bar of soap. That's it.
- 36:19So since in a perfect world, you would have your own bathroom,
- 36:25which is technically supposed to be ours by definition, but it is
- 36:28a tiny sink. And then we have the big sink
- 36:32that I share. And the reason I like sharing
- 36:33that is because it's on the same level as everything else in our
- 36:37house. So our bedroom, the whatever,
- 36:40it's like, you know, you're getting ready in the morning.
- 36:42You don't want to go up a floor, down a floor, up a floor, down a
- 36:44floor. Like I'd be doing stair workouts
- 36:46just to get ready for work. Well, if you're efficient, you
- 36:49wouldn't. Anyway, I'm.
- 36:52So, OK, I don't. I think the reality is that for
- 37:00myself and our daughter is we need more time in the bathroom.
- 37:04That's true. And where we come into problems
- 37:09is that everybody wants to get ready at the same time.
- 37:14And sometimes it's logical and sometimes it's not.
- 37:19And, and where we have problems is when it is logical that
- 37:23everybody's getting ready at the same time, which is like 9
- 37:26months out of the year because I have to work before anyone is
- 37:31out of the house. So I have to get ready and I, I
- 37:36certainly, yes, could I wake up earlier, but I wake up really
- 37:40flipping early. And if I wake up any earlier, I
- 37:43would need to go to bed at like 8:00 at night.
- 37:45And that's just not realistic. Our child also has a bus time
- 37:49that she has to get to. And as she's gotten older, she
- 37:52cares more about her parents. It's not like some when she was
- 37:56eight, it was a hair brush if we were lucky, and brush your teeth
- 38:00and out the door. But no, she's a teenager.
- 38:02She wants to do her hair, she wants to do her makeup, and she
- 38:06needs like quite a bit longer in the bathroom than either you or
- 38:10I 'cause I don't. I mean, I care about what I look
- 38:14like, but I don't care at the level of a teenager caring what
- 38:17they look like, 'cause. And you're a, you're a skilled
- 38:22veteran of your own situation. I'm.
- 38:24Going to tell you, right? Well yes, but our kid is way
- 38:27better doing makeup than I have ever.
- 38:29I didn't mean like makeup skill, I mean like you've done it so
- 38:32many times that you could do it faster than her.
- 38:34Right, but the person who takes the least amount of time and
- 38:38also likes to wait to the last minute and then get upset that
- 38:42other people are in their way is you.
- 38:46Me. You get upset that other people
- 38:49are using the bathrooms and you bounce between our bathroom.
- 38:56You just almost said my bathroom.
- 38:57I. Sure almost did our bathroom and
- 39:00interrupting both of our flows of getting ready again, knowing
- 39:06it takes us longer. So when you come into one of
- 39:10those bathrooms, you're hard stop on whatever we're doing
- 39:14because you're like I need the whole sink.
- 39:16Luke spreads out not just his stuff, but his body like he's
- 39:21like I need a wingspan of 6 feet to be able to shave myself so no
- 39:26one can share. And the other thing is to
- 39:29everything you're doing is wet, adding water.
- 39:33That's true again. For me, no dry sink.
- 39:35No dry sink. That becomes a problem for our
- 39:38daughter. No dry sink.
- 39:41So really, Luke, let me ask you a question.
- 39:46Caught me off guard and now the moment you have all been waiting
- 39:49for in this corner claiming to weigh in at 195 lbs.
- 39:56A 135 lbs. You're paying attention.
- 39:59That's what I weigh, just in case anyone's wondering.
- 40:02And got some serious stank eye looking at me right now is
- 40:09Amber. And the current record is a
- 40:15little, a little in the Gray area.
- 40:17So well, because the votes are still open.
- 40:21So right now from the last episode, which is whether or not
- 40:24I should get capris for men, we're tight, no?
- 40:31So oh, in that episode, yeah, OK.
- 40:35So currently the tally is what? I have 4 losses and three wins.
- 40:42That's less than, so I'm winning more.
- 40:45Yeah. This could could work out,
- 40:49except I feel like this one is not going to go so well for me.
- 40:54And in this corner we have Luke, who also has said that he's
- 40:58weighing in at 195 lbs. 185. You are sporting this glorious
- 41:03red beard that apparently takes a lot of work, a lot of product,
- 41:09and I think if you're going to want to keep it, you're going to
- 41:13need some help today. Let's just start right on that
- 41:17beard topic for a second. First of all, right now it is
- 41:20long. It is really long.
- 41:22It needs, I don't. Like trimming it because it
- 41:23takes so long and it's anyway any, any guy with a beard out
- 41:27there knows what I'm talking about.
- 41:28If you got a full beard and you got to trim it, it's like it's a
- 41:33whole process and it's like there's all kind of little with
- 41:38the buzzer thing, little hair cut.
- 41:40Hairs that go everywhere I. Clean it up.
- 41:43I mean, I will tell you as the main cleaner in this household.
- 41:48OK, well I it's it's a whole situation.
- 41:51I lay out like a bunch of paper towels to catch the hair and
- 41:55then when I'm done I throw it away in the garbage and wipe off
- 41:59this. Anyway, this beard does take a
- 42:02little work, but it's all the hair I got because Mother Nature
- 42:06turned on me. OK, OK.
- 42:09A. Little hair on the top of my
- 42:11head anymore. So I just said, you know what,
- 42:13I'm going to shave it off. So I shaved my head as well.
- 42:16OK. Hey, I had a question for you
- 42:19and I think you forgot. I didn't.
- 42:22You're delaying the question. OK, fine.
- 42:24You can get official. Let's get official.
- 42:26Here we go. So given everything you know
- 42:30about everybody, not just yourself, but everybody's issues
- 42:36with timing in the morning, would you please and could you
- 42:45please just do your morning stuff in the third bathroom?
- 42:55Because you aren't just taking one, you're taking two every
- 43:04morning. OK, I will officially answer the
- 43:08question no and let me explain why.
- 43:13So first of all to that to the I take 2 bathrooms.
- 43:17Every morning. It's not true.
- 43:20I go where I can, that's what, except for the third bathroom.
- 43:24And the reason for that is when it's whatever time it is, 6/30,
- 43:287:00 in the morning, and I'm trying to shave my head and, you
- 43:33know, bounce around and take a shower.
- 43:35A lot of times I can't go in one or the other bathroom.
- 43:39I have I have showered and shaved in the downstairs
- 43:42bathroom. Yeah, I have, but only when I
- 43:45have to for a couple reasons. The downstairs is always colder.
- 43:52And when you don't have hair on your head, it's real noticeable.
- 43:56So I get really cold if I have to come downstairs.
- 44:02That's one of the reasons. Another reason is if if I didn't
- 44:08have to share space like or if it was more.
- 44:13I feel like I just don't understand why I need to have
- 44:16the sink that doesn't have a countertop.
- 44:18Like if we had a countertop downstairs, I mean I would still
- 44:23dislike it because it's a whole nother flight of stairs away and
- 44:27I don't want to walk a bunch of stairs in the morning.
- 44:29Like I'm not active yet at 7:00 AM.
- 44:32Sometimes I do work out in the morning and that's a whole
- 44:34different thing. But regardless, I don't want to
- 44:36like come downstairs to go to the other bathroom which doesn't
- 44:39have anywhere to put my stuff. It does though.
- 44:42But it doesn't. It does.
- 44:43There's a whole cabinet. Well, you try it, OK?
- 44:46You're not ready. No, no, no, no.
- 44:49That's the problem is remember how I space Delilah needs?
- 44:54Space Delilah. That's what I'm saying.
- 44:56I need space too. But like at the exact moment
- 45:00you're using one item, and like I said, there is a cabinet
- 45:04directly adjacent to the sink that would fit what you claimed
- 45:09earlier. I thought you said you had very
- 45:11few items. I do.
- 45:13It would easily fit those very few items.
- 45:16While you're in there, you're shaving cream.
- 45:17Boom, put it back in the cupboard.
- 45:19Put it on your face. You.
- 45:21There's definitely enough space on the sink to hold a razor.
- 45:25Great, now you're razoring. Great.
- 45:27Razor's done. Put it back in the cupboard.
- 45:29Wonderful. You're.
- 45:30Training me on how to take care of my house and body.
- 45:33OK, as if I needed a step by step.
- 45:37Training. OK.
- 45:38And then your next thing for your hair buzzer, right?
- 45:40Like yeah, that would fit on the sink as well.
- 45:44All of these items that you can really only use one at a time
- 45:48would easily fit on the sink, and the cabinet is right next
- 45:52door. So so this is just you answering
- 45:55a question for me. No, this is me talking about the
- 45:58question as well as you were. So the technical answer is, of
- 46:05course anything is possible, Could I do it?
- 46:07Could I do it? Of course I could do it.
- 46:09Should I do it? I think is in question because
- 46:12we have all these spaces on the main level of the house, which
- 46:15is near the bedroom where one gets ready where your clothes
- 46:19are. I mean, if I got to come
- 46:21downstairs to take a shower, I got to bring all change of
- 46:24clothes with me just to go out through the house and there's
- 46:30ample other space and time. What if we just figured out
- 46:33here's my my proposition as a counter?
- 46:35What if we just figured out how to schedule it right?
- 46:37We like here at this time. I'm getting ready at this time,
- 46:41she getting ready. So that means that this time you
- 46:43get ready. That would work only if
- 46:46everything followed as planned and no one waited the last
- 46:50possible second. This is not the world we live
- 46:52in. No one wants to.
- 46:54I could do it. I didn't do it.
- 46:56No, I'm talking about plan out of schedule.
- 47:00It would be only only good for you.
- 47:02So is that true? Are you are you done?
- 47:04Is that your answer? No, because I get kicked out all
- 47:07the time too. That's.
- 47:09And there's an emotional component as well that I haven't
- 47:13even got to yet. OK, I'd like to hear the
- 47:15emotional. First of all, I live in this
- 47:17house on the same level as you. 2.
- 47:20Yeah. And there's two bathrooms.
- 47:21Yeah. So I feel like, I mean, I grew
- 47:24up in a house with one bathroom for four people.
- 47:27You grew up in a house with one bath?
- 47:28Well, technically there was. Yeah, it was 1 bathroom.
- 47:32You had two bathrooms. For five people.
- 47:35And yet somehow, while all of you and your sisters were
- 47:38teenagers and your parents were parents, you figured out how to
- 47:40survive it. Was timing.
- 47:42Same thing with me and my brothers and my mom.
- 47:44We figured, you know, we survived.
- 47:47I I don't think anyone's saying that we're not surviving.
- 47:49I'm just saying like it could work.
- 47:52And when, when I have you and our child trying to kick me out
- 48:01to go downstairs, it's like you're just saying you're not
- 48:05welcome here. I'm unwelcome in my own home.
- 48:11Oh good God. It's just the deep, deep wound.
- 48:14Wow, wow. Just feel all I need and just I
- 48:19want to tell you how long it takes me because it's a true
- 48:21reality, the truth. You just haven't even heard my
- 48:25time. Frame yet I'll hear you this.
- 48:27Is how long I think it takes me to get ready in the morning
- 48:29bathroom specific? I shave my head pretty much
- 48:33everyday. Bathroom time for shaving my
- 48:38head is 12 minutes. Putting away and getting out the
- 48:42things to do that gets us up to 15.
- 48:47The brushing of the teeth and the mouthwash and the braces
- 48:50situation at tops is 5 minutes. And then the shower part with
- 48:58going in and out is probably, I mean, let you help me on this
- 49:02one, but I'm going to say it's 15 minutes.
- 49:04I would say it's closer to 20. OK, that's only 5 minutes.
- 49:09That's fine. So 20.
- 49:10So I got 15 and I got 520 minutes and I got 20 minutes.
- 49:17OK. I don't think that's that much
- 49:19different that well, I think she takes longer than that.
- 49:22Yeah. Do you take longer than that?
- 49:25I take about 20. I take about 40 minutes from
- 49:28shower to, I don't know, maybe about an hour.
- 49:31So I'll take the least amount of time.
- 49:33Y'all just kicking me out? No, OK, that's.
- 49:36OK, OK. Are.
- 49:38You done. The answer is I don't want to
- 49:39move downstairs. I know you don't want to move
- 49:42downstairs, I'm just saying for the flow of the household it
- 49:49would make most sense instead of you interrupting in both
- 49:54bathrooms because when you want to be in there you're like.
- 49:56I need to be in. That's not true, I ask.
- 49:59I said. Can I get in there?
- 50:00OK, No, no, no, no. There's a difference between
- 50:02asking and assuming. And you say, can I get in there
- 50:05and you walk in. That's not true.
- 50:06There's a huge. I would never ever walk in on
- 50:10our kid in the bathroom because she closes the door so that
- 50:13doesn't happen. Well, you walked in on me in the
- 50:15bathroom. That's not true either.
- 50:17You have the door open and and I say, can I get in there?
- 50:20And I say no and you say leave no.
- 50:23You get mad and pouty and say I need to be in there in 2 minutes
- 50:27or whatever. That's true.
- 50:29I skulk away. Also, we have the best shower.
- 50:31OK, continue. And yet your debate is done.
- 50:36My point is that if you would like to have a more harmonious
- 50:39household without upsetting everybody else, if you could
- 50:44just like stick to 1, that would be wonderful.
- 50:49But you don't, you want to have your stuff in one room, your
- 50:52stuff in another room. You're like, I like to shave in
- 50:55this room, I like to shower in this room.
- 50:57And we're both myself and our child are just trying to get all
- 51:03done at once. And you're like, oh, wait, no,
- 51:06now I need some coffee. I just shaved.
- 51:08And so, like, you're not singularly focused.
- 51:12You are flitting about and interrupting.
- 51:16And it makes it difficult for people who are just trying to
- 51:20get the job done. And for me, getting ready in the
- 51:23morning is getting the job done. So I would think that if there
- 51:29is anyone who should maybe be regulated to an A bathroom like.
- 51:36Relegated. You're right.
- 51:38You want to regulate too though. I want to regulate love.
- 51:41Yeah. Mount up, mount up.
- 51:44Go downstairs. It's actually the nicest
- 51:47bathroom we have by far. It is the newest stuff in there.
- 51:53It is our nicest bathroom. OK.
- 51:56And it is, yeah. OK.
- 51:59It is their nicest. One just needs a vanity.
- 52:01Isn't that what I mean when I say a vanity I?
- 52:03Don't know what you mean when you.
- 52:04Think with a countertop. I don't know, but I really it's
- 52:08a really beautiful pedestal sink and not beautiful, but it's a
- 52:11nice pedestal sink. I wouldn't want to replace that
- 52:15with some big old, ugly, clunky sink.
- 52:17I mean, like the bathroom is it's a nice design.
- 52:20There are certainly things we could do to make it more usable
- 52:25for what you're talking about. However, putting in a whole new
- 52:30sink, which has been the only solution, you're I'll only go
- 52:33downstairs if we put in a huge new sink.
- 52:35I mean, it's an unreasonable solution.
- 52:38I think you could open the cupboard door, which is
- 52:42literally right next to the sink and use that space.
- 52:45It's not right, no. I will also say you were saying
- 52:50and complaining about the temperature in the basement.
- 52:54It's. A little chillier in The Who.
- 52:56In this house is the one who wants the house gold.
- 53:01Well, you. Me.
- 53:03You. So the fact that it's too cold
- 53:06in the basement is your own fault.
- 53:10No. You could solve that problem.
- 53:12It's the fault of science just because if I set the upstairs
- 53:19temperature, which is currently set to 74, just for the record,
- 53:25the basement's like 7068 I. Understand because I work in the
- 53:30basement. I know, but you got a space
- 53:32heater and no tile floors. I OK.
- 53:36In your office. I think the question has been
- 53:39asked and I hope the voters have heard this debate.
- 53:44Me too and heard both reasonings and the fact that we are so
- 53:49fortunate we bought a house on purpose with three bathrooms so
- 53:55that we all would have our own space to get ready in the
- 53:58morning. And you are you are ignoring
- 54:03this fact and saying I don't care that we bought a house with
- 54:07three bathrooms, I am going to occupy 2 that are already
- 54:13occupied. It's messed up.
- 54:17That's that's what it is. Just wanted to kick me out.
- 54:21Wow, Nope. Just wanting you to use the
- 54:23third bathroom we pay for. So there's there's the question,
- 54:26everybody. Oh my goodness, there it was.
- 54:29I guess throwing in last minute curveballs, some heat on them,
- 54:33that's what we got so well. So now all we need you guys to
- 54:39do is vote for me. No.
- 54:44No, and you can comment in the app, you can comment on social
- 54:48media. Let us know who you think one
- 54:52this very emotionally charged debate.
- 54:55This is a big battle in this household.
- 54:57This is a. Household.
- 54:59Battle, a household battle, and the democracy has not worked in
- 55:05this House for changing this problem.
- 55:08I thought we were done debating I'm.
- 55:10No, I'm just saying we need, we need our listeners slash
- 55:16viewers. To come install.
- 55:19No, to just come and answer the very basic question, we would
- 55:24really appreciate that. Where can they find us, darling?
- 55:28Spotify, YouTube, iHeartRadio and Apple.
- 55:34Apple and podcasts. Yep, and a a few others that you
- 55:37keep seeing a. Few others, but I don't know
- 55:39what. Do you remember some?
- 55:40Sort of generalized, yeah, yeah. Feed to the iron world.
- 55:44Speed, yes. OK, that's a text.
- 55:45We're just maybe that's how we got to Russia.
- 55:49You just click the button and it was like, send it to Russia.
- 55:51Yeah. OK.
- 55:52Let's click some more buttons. And again, if you have any
- 55:55topics, please send it to us at arguingeverafter@gmail.com.
- 56:00There it is people, see you next time.
- 56:02Bye.
