Today, RÚV English is in Seyðisfjörður, in East Iceland. An independent, non-profit organisation, Skaftfell Centre For The Visual Arts (www.skaftfell.is) is the principal visual art centre for East Iceland. Located in a timber-frame house built by Norwegian fishermen in 1907, Skaftfell has long been an important meeting place for artists and the community, welcoming all visitors.
