- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is mark some own shell on seven ten
- 0:05Speaker 1: wor Well, hey, we got through it. It's just snow. Don't
- 0:10Speaker 1: worry about it. We used to get this all the time.
- 0:13Speaker 1: We used to get snow like this every couple of weeks.
- 0:15Speaker 1: But it's a mess in some places, and it's cold.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It's not gonna even hit the freezing mark for a
- 0:23Speaker 1: few days, so it's gonna be hard to get rid
- 0:25Speaker 1: of all this snow. You had anywhere from eight inches
- 0:28Speaker 1: six inches someplace, up to eighteen inches, depends where you are.
- 0:31Speaker 1: In New Jersey you got a little less. Rockland County,
- 0:35Speaker 1: up farther north Danbury you got a lot more. But
- 0:39Speaker 1: even Connecticut, Fairfield County you got eleven inches in most places.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Central Park you got about ten and a half inches long.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Island's a little better. We'll check in around around the
- 0:51Speaker 1: Tri state area with everybody, see how they're doing in
- 0:53Speaker 1: the snow. We'll get to Minnesota, We'll get to CBS news.
- 0:57Speaker 1: There's a little revolt going on there, and again, be
- 1:01Speaker 1: careful shoveling, Be careful shoveling, don't overdo it. You know,
- 1:06Speaker 1: there's a you know that little vacuum what they call it,
- 1:08Speaker 1: the rumba, you know the vacuum. You just turn it
- 1:12Speaker 1: on and it goes all around your house and vacuums
- 1:14Speaker 1: everything up. There's a snow blower version of that now.
- 1:20Speaker 1: In fact, there's a video of a guy trying it out.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It costs about five thousand dollars, but it's a robotic
- 1:24Speaker 1: snow blower that can clear your driveway. It's electric. You
- 1:29Speaker 1: gotta charge it for about two hours. And here's the
- 1:32Speaker 1: video of the guy. He just turns it on, sits
- 1:36Speaker 1: there drinking his coffee while he watches it, and he's
- 1:38Speaker 1: got a long driveway. He goes up and down his driveway,
- 1:41Speaker 1: clearing the snow, blowing the snow. So it's five thousand dollars,
- 1:45Speaker 1: but eventually they'll get cheaper, so in the future you
- 1:48Speaker 1: will not be shoveling snow. It'll be all automatic. Mom
- 1:53Speaker 1: Donnie was it was pretty good in this Everything seemed
- 1:56Speaker 1: to come out okay. He had the emergency management director
- 1:59Speaker 1: and team left over from the last administration. They were
- 2:03Speaker 1: pretty good. Mom Donnie was even seen at one point
- 2:06Speaker 1: shoveling a car out, helping out somebody in Brooklyn. He
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a shovel out and he was helping get it
- 2:12Speaker 1: out of the snow. But he came through it in
- 2:16Speaker 1: one piece. I mean, he's still crazy, mom, Donnie, but
- 2:19Speaker 1: this was his first management test. School today in New
- 2:22Speaker 1: York will be remote. There'll be no open school. You
- 2:26Speaker 1: have to do it by remote. I remember it as
- 2:28Speaker 1: the year city here he was talking about when he
- 2:29Speaker 1: was a kid.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I remember it as in New York City pubs, students
- 2:33Speaker 2: sitting there watching TV, open to see my school's name.
- 2:37Speaker 2: The sad truth is governed by state wall, which requires
- 2:41Speaker 2: one hundred and eighty days of construction. And there's no
- 2:44Speaker 2: room anymore in these calendars with all your holidays have
- 2:47Speaker 2: been added the first snow day. So Monday is either
- 2:49Speaker 2: going to be a remote learning day or it's going
- 2:51Speaker 2: to be in person. But make sure when you're out
- 2:54Speaker 2: of school enjoyed the summer.
- 2:55Speaker 1: So that's interesting. It's this new regulation one hundred and
- 2:58Speaker 1: eighty days require so they can't close, but remote learning
- 3:00Speaker 1: is not the same. The idea of the snow day
- 3:04Speaker 1: was like, he's right. You know, when you're a kid,
- 3:06Speaker 1: you were watching hoping your school was closed. It was
- 3:08Speaker 1: a snow day. You go out and play when a
- 3:11Speaker 1: few times you got to see the game shows and
- 3:13Speaker 1: the price is right, and a bunch of reruns on
- 3:15Speaker 1: TV during the day and it's not the same. And
- 3:19Speaker 1: the remote learning, I don't know, I don't know if
- 3:22Speaker 1: that even works. Now. He claims that they've stress tested
- 3:26Speaker 1: the bandwidth, the internet connections and everything and it should
- 3:30Speaker 1: should work. Okay, So let's get to Minnesota. Total chaos.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's just a disastrous situation. Everybody is wrong in Minnesota.
- 3:40Speaker 1: If you look at the video, the ice agent shot
- 3:43Speaker 1: this guy named Pretty, who's a thirty seven year old nurse.
- 3:48Speaker 1: But Pretty's wrong too. He comes to interfere with a
- 3:51Speaker 1: law enforcement operation. You know, it's one thing to protest.
- 3:55Speaker 1: This is this is not protest.
- 3:57Speaker 3: You know.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Protest means you stand over there on the other side,
- 4:00Speaker 1: out of the street with signs and you yell bad
- 4:02Speaker 1: things at him. That's a protest. But when you get
- 4:04Speaker 1: right in their face, you know, when it's January sixth
- 4:07Speaker 1: and you break into the building and run around like crazy,
- 4:10Speaker 1: that's beyond protest. That's trespassing. It's mayhem. And this is mayhem.
- 4:14Speaker 1: If you watch the videos, they're very careful never to
- 4:17Speaker 1: show you the video before the minutes leading up to
- 4:20Speaker 1: preddie getting shot where he's in their face going after them.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And now also, if you're going to go after law enforcement,
- 4:28Speaker 1: if you're going to tangle with them, I wouldn't bring
- 4:31Speaker 1: a loaded gun with extra magazines. Now they say so
- 4:35Speaker 1: far right, The investigation isn't completed, but it looks like
- 4:39Speaker 1: he may not have taken out the weapon, but he
- 4:43Speaker 1: had a weapon on him. Cops usually can tell when
- 4:45Speaker 1: a guy's arm you can see a bulge somewhere. They're
- 4:47Speaker 1: pretty good at that. And we don't know if they
- 4:50Speaker 1: saw it. It was you know, his jacket was open
- 4:53Speaker 1: and they saw a flash of a weapon. But it
- 4:56Speaker 1: doesn't look like they should have shot him. There were
- 4:58Speaker 1: enough cops here to wrestle them in the ground. If
- 5:00Speaker 1: he didn't have the weapon out, there was no reason
- 5:03Speaker 1: to shoot him. It's total chaos and things can happen.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But pretty's in the wrong too. First of all, he's
- 5:10Speaker 1: committing a crime, interfering with law enforcement. And I guess
- 5:14Speaker 1: at that point that we're trying to arrest him. He
- 5:15Speaker 1: was resisting arrest, so he's committing a crime. Now, he's
- 5:18Speaker 1: legally allowed to carry the gun, he had a carry permit,
- 5:21Speaker 1: but you know, you're not allowed to carry a gun
- 5:23Speaker 1: while you're committing a crime. That's also in the law.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So it's an absolute mess. But everybody is wrong here.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Christy Nome was not good. She's immediately calling him a terrorist.
- 5:34Speaker 1: He may be an awful, crazy guy confronting law enforcement
- 5:38Speaker 1: like that, but I don't know, but being a terrorist.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But from what I hear now, Christy Nome is going
- 5:44Speaker 1: to get sidelined a little. She goes right on TV
- 5:46Speaker 1: and starts blasting away too extreme, two knee jerk. President
- 5:51Speaker 1: Trump is going to sideline her a bit, get her
- 5:53Speaker 1: off TV. Tom Holman reports to her, she's the Homeland
- 5:57Speaker 1: Security Secretary, so home and works for her. Reports to her.
- 6:01Speaker 1: The President last night changed that and Homan will now
- 6:05Speaker 1: report directly to the President, so he's cut her out
- 6:10Speaker 1: of the loop. That's a indicator of her being sidelined.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And then he's asked Holman to go to Minnesota and
- 6:17Speaker 1: try to straighten this out. So Holman, I think tonight
- 6:20Speaker 1: will be in Minnesota. Now. The two that are really
- 6:23Speaker 1: wrong are Fry the mayor, and Waltz, the governor. These
- 6:28Speaker 1: are if there was one major cause, these guys, these
- 6:31Speaker 1: Minnesota officials. You can see the video of them over
- 6:34Speaker 1: and over and over and over again, telling protesters to
- 6:38Speaker 1: go out there and to confront ice, to get in
- 6:40Speaker 1: their face, to blow the whistles, to record them with
- 6:43Speaker 1: their cameras. You know, he just encouraged this. If you
- 6:47Speaker 1: go back to like a January sixth, remember the President
- 6:49Speaker 1: said go to the capitol and protest peacefully and patriotically.
- 6:56Speaker 1: This is different Fry and Walton. There's plenty of video
- 7:00Speaker 1: of this, telling them, even after this shooting, telling him
- 7:03Speaker 1: confront ice. Don't let them get away with this, get
- 7:05Speaker 1: right in their face. That's a risky thing. What was
- 7:09Speaker 1: that old song, I fought the law and the law won.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You're asking for trouble if you go confront law enforcement
- 7:18Speaker 1: physically and get right now again, protesting is you stand
- 7:22Speaker 1: over there with signs and you yell at them, but
- 7:24Speaker 1: confronting them physically, confronting them, it's a dangerous situation. And
- 7:30Speaker 1: bringing a gun with you. Now we don't know what happened,
- 7:32Speaker 1: we haven't got all the details. By the way, the
- 7:34Speaker 1: gun was a sig handgun, and those guns are famous
- 7:38Speaker 1: for accidentally firing. There's a long history of them. It's
- 7:42Speaker 1: a very popular handgun for amateurs, but there's a long
- 7:45Speaker 1: history of them accidentally firing, so again, the investigation is
- 7:49Speaker 1: not complete. Democrats are going to use this like crazy.
- 7:54Speaker 1: One Republican, James Comer, big Republican, actually came out and
- 7:58Speaker 1: said Ice needs to pull out, him in and leave now.
- 8:02Speaker 1: The problem, you might say, we why don't they just
- 8:03Speaker 1: get out of there for a while, let it calm down.
- 8:07Speaker 1: The problem is if you withdraw ICE right now, that
- 8:10Speaker 1: means these protesters want and these are not just organic protesters.
- 8:14Speaker 1: There's now all kinds of evidence it's an organized mob
- 8:17Speaker 1: funded fueled by radical left wing groups, Soros type guys
- 8:21Speaker 1: funding this. They're finding encrypted chats giving them instructions, so
- 8:27Speaker 1: again it's an army against law enforcement. If you pull
- 8:30Speaker 1: out and give them that victory, they'll just move this
- 8:32Speaker 1: to every city. You know, Ice. Everything ICE is doing
- 8:35Speaker 1: in Minnesota, they're doing in many other cities. And the
- 8:38Speaker 1: reason there's no problems is the people aren't going crazy
- 8:42Speaker 1: trying to fight them. There's no Tim Waltz or may
- 8:46Speaker 1: or Fry riling them up. So they're doing this in
- 8:49Speaker 1: other cities and everything's going smoothly. So that's what Homan's
- 8:52Speaker 1: going to do. He'll meet with local officials and try
- 8:55Speaker 1: to work this out. So all they got to do
- 8:57Speaker 1: is get these protesters to stop the conference, the physical confrontation.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Stand over on the other side of the street. Wave
- 9:04Speaker 1: your sign and yell. That's what you're supposed to do.
- 9:06Speaker 1: You want to blow your whistles, that's fine, but you
- 9:08Speaker 1: can't go physically after law enforcement and home. It will
- 9:14Speaker 1: make that case. But Waltz and Fry have all sorts
- 9:19Speaker 1: of reasons, even though it might not be the right
- 9:21Speaker 1: thing to do, to keep doing this because it's good
- 9:23Speaker 1: for them politically. It also totally distracts from the nineteen
- 9:27Speaker 1: billion that was stolen right under their nose. So we'll
- 9:31Speaker 1: see you got everybody yell even here in New York
- 9:35Speaker 1: Kathy hokel.
- 9:36Speaker 4: But nothing more than a cell phone in his hand,
- 9:39Speaker 4: and he was trying to kill them. That's their story.
- 9:44Speaker 4: But anyone who's seen this horrific video, multiple videos, knows
- 9:50Speaker 4: that this is a shameless, bold face line.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Well, we don't know that it hasn't been investigating little
- 9:55Speaker 1: irresponsible to say that he was resisting them and fighting
- 9:58Speaker 1: with him. Now, remember, Hochel has got a run for reelection.
- 10:02Speaker 1: This year up against a very strong opponent, Bruce Blakeman,
- 10:06Speaker 1: who's got a much better track record than her governing
- 10:09Speaker 1: and probably will win. So she's going to be all
- 10:13Speaker 1: over the map. Left wing, she'll go right wing, she'll
- 10:15Speaker 1: go left wing. And of course, you know what Mom
- 10:17Speaker 1: Donnie would say.
- 10:18Speaker 3: You have massed agents who are terrorizing people across this country,
- 10:23Speaker 3: whether they're in their home, in their car, out on
- 10:25Speaker 3: the street. You have the loss of what it means
- 10:28Speaker 3: to be an American in your own country, the sense
- 10:31Speaker 3: of safety and the sense of self. That's something we
- 10:33Speaker 3: should all be fighting.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but again, ICE is doing this in many other cities.
- 10:36Speaker 1: There's no problem. People don't get Again, there's protesters in
- 10:41Speaker 1: other cities, but they stand there, wave their sign and yell.
- 10:45Speaker 1: They don't really really try to confront them. So no, Christynoman,
- 10:49Speaker 1: you'll see her sideline. Steven Miller. I like Steven Miller,
- 10:52Speaker 1: brilliant guy, but too extreme on TV. I think you'll
- 10:55Speaker 1: see him probably not on TV so much. Now I
- 10:58Speaker 1: get remember a lot of this gets riled up. First,
- 11:01Speaker 1: it's riled up by Waltz and Fry telling people to
- 11:04Speaker 1: go go confront them those law enforcements. But Also, you
- 11:07Speaker 1: got all these lies going out. There's this fake story
- 11:10Speaker 1: about Ice arrested a five year old. You see the
- 11:13Speaker 1: five year old surrounded by Ice and even ABC News,
- 11:18Speaker 1: which by the way, I think is going to have
- 11:19Speaker 1: a major lawsuit here. Trump may get another twenty five
- 11:24Speaker 1: to thirty million out of ABC News for this story.
- 11:26Speaker 1: And it was David Muir on the Evening News that
- 11:30Speaker 1: Ice took in the custody a five year old, but
- 11:33Speaker 1: they didn't explain the story. They were there to arrest
- 11:38Speaker 1: criminal illegal alien. And when they showed up and this
- 11:41Speaker 1: criminal illegal alien saw them, he ran, He left his
- 11:45Speaker 1: house and he ran away. He just left left his
- 11:48Speaker 1: five year old there alone. So he was gone, abandoning
- 11:52Speaker 1: the five year old. Now, if you're Ice, you're not
- 11:53Speaker 1: going to just leave the kid alone. Obviously, you take
- 11:56Speaker 1: the kid. Apparently, they took the kid to McDonald's, took
- 11:59Speaker 1: care of the kid for the day before they were
- 12:01Speaker 1: able to return her to somebody in the family. But
- 12:04Speaker 1: they did not arrest her. You see the picture of
- 12:06Speaker 1: them holding her, But it's basically to save her from
- 12:09Speaker 1: I mean, the guy fled. She's alone in the street.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You can't leave a five year old alone so fake
- 12:14Speaker 1: news going crazy, distorting that whole story. Hit has problems
- 12:19Speaker 1: over at CBS. Stephen Colbert set a ratings record in January.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Good for him, Oh no, it's a record for the
- 12:28Speaker 1: lowest ratings ever. New record for the lowest ratings in
- 12:33Speaker 1: late night for Stephen Colbert in January, and especially in
- 12:36Speaker 1: the twenty five to fifty four year old demo. That's
- 12:39Speaker 1: the demo they want. He got the lowest number, just
- 12:42Speaker 1: two hundred and eighty thousand. That's the lowest number ever
- 12:46Speaker 1: for late night all time record set by Stephen Colbert.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And sixty Minutes apparently is on a hunger strike or
- 12:55Speaker 1: something like that. You know, they're trying to make changes
- 12:58Speaker 1: at sixty minutes. Clean it up. It's been very very corrupt, slanted,
- 13:03Speaker 1: biased reporting, leaving out half the story, deliberately, sometimes doctoring
- 13:08Speaker 1: up video in case of Kamala Harris, just distorting it.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Just totally corrupt. It's been going on for a while.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Barry Weiss, the new head of CBS News, wants to
- 13:17Speaker 1: fix that. She's been stepping in and looking at the
- 13:21Speaker 1: pieces first and saying, well, if you're going to run this,
- 13:23Speaker 1: you got to get a response from the other side.
- 13:25Speaker 1: You got to include that. Well, there's a rebellion there
- 13:28Speaker 1: and they've been fighting and fighting and fighting, but apparently
- 13:32Speaker 1: they're on strike now. Sixty Minutes, to everyone's surprise, ran
- 13:36Speaker 1: a rerun last night. They did not run a new show.
- 13:41Speaker 1: It was just a rerun of celebrity interviews, old celebrity
- 13:44Speaker 1: interviews that actually people have been nominated for oscars. But
- 13:48Speaker 1: in the middle of a Minnesota and all that, lot
- 13:51Speaker 1: of big stories, a lot of big news, not to
- 13:53Speaker 1: snowstorm everything, not to do a sixty minutes was crazy.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Now apparently she wants to get rid of that Alfonsi woman,
- 14:02Speaker 1: Bill Whittaker, Scott Pelley, she wants to get rid of
- 14:05Speaker 1: and a lot of the staff involved in this rebellion.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Expect them all to be gone too pretty soon. A
- 14:12Speaker 1: super Bowl a great game last night, Seahawks Patriots go
- 14:16Speaker 1: to the super Bowl. That'll be two weeks from last night,
- 14:19Speaker 1: February eighth. Normally President Trump would be at the super Bowl.
- 14:23Speaker 1: He's announced he's not going this year. He's not going
- 14:26Speaker 1: to go to the super Bowl. He said it's just
- 14:28Speaker 1: too far. It's in California. Where was the super Bowl
- 14:31Speaker 1: last year? I don't remember but it wasn't that far.
- 14:34Speaker 1: He just said's too far to go. Now, A lot
- 14:36Speaker 1: of people think the other reason is he's not happy
- 14:39Speaker 1: with the halftime entertainment. Bad Bunny and Green Day. Green
- 14:43Speaker 1: Day frontman Billy Joe Armstrong called Trump all kinds of names,
- 14:49Speaker 1: called him a Nazi or something like that, and this
- 14:52Speaker 1: Bad Bunny is just, you know, the radical left wing guy. Remember,
- 14:55Speaker 1: he wouldn't do any shows in the US. He moved
- 14:58Speaker 1: his tour out of the country because he said he
- 15:00Speaker 1: did not want to do his show anywhere where Ice was.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I mean, he's really really been attacking Trump. Yeah, I
- 15:10Speaker 1: mean he was trying to he didn't want any ICE people. Oh,
- 15:13Speaker 1: he didn't want to hear it is. He moved the
- 15:15Speaker 1: tour to Puerto Rico, didn't want to book any US
- 15:17Speaker 1: dates over fears his fans would be detained by ICE agents.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Armstrong from Green Day called Trump hitler. So I don't
- 15:27Speaker 1: think he wants to be there for that. So you
- 15:29Speaker 1: will not see him at this year's Super Bowl. Well, hey,
- 15:32Speaker 1: we'll take some calls in a moment. Eight hundred three
- 15:34Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 15:38Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten
