- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to another episode of the joint fox
- 0:03Speaker 1: sports and code sports podcast the follow-on we're coming to
- 0:06Speaker 1: you live at the end of day three at st george's.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Park uh in kuburka.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Tremendous performance from south africa today to turn what was
- 0:19Speaker 1: a position when they're under significant pressure at stumps day
- 0:22Speaker 1: two into a position where realistically they're the only notion
- 0:26Speaker 1: that can win the win the match.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Behind us, we have some fun sunflowers. Yesterday, we said
- 0:30Speaker 3: the sun was shining on Australia.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Well, Timber Mavuma, with the assistance of a couple of
- 0:35Speaker 1: magnificent performances from Michael Hansen and Simon Harmer, just turned
- 0:41Speaker 1: this around.
- 0:41Speaker 3: An amazing performance. Tell us what happened, Dan.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Well, it was very much South Africa's day, as you
- 0:46Speaker 4: touched on, Courtney. It was finally a full day's play
- 0:48Speaker 4: after the short ones we got across day one and two.
- 0:51Speaker 4: The conditions were considerably more batting friendly.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I mean, we came here, got up this morning and Mirka,
- 0:57Speaker 2: and it was a beautiful day.
- 0:59Speaker 3: It was okay.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Anyway, got up this morning here and in PE, and
- 1:02Speaker 4: it was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, and
- 1:04Speaker 4: you had a sense that we were going to.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Get a full day's cricket.
- 1:06Speaker 4: There was just a bit of buzz around town, and
- 1:09Speaker 4: that played out in the field for South Africa.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I did lose an early field a.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Long time ago when Bjorn Mulder fell to Mitchell Stark
- 1:17Speaker 4: to become his 450th test victim.
- 1:19Speaker 2: It was a beautiful short piece.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Of bowling, but from then, the match just turned quickly,
- 1:23Speaker 4: and I mean quickly because Marco Jansen batted very quickly.
- 1:26Speaker 4: I mean, it was a contrasting partnership in every sense.
- 1:31Speaker 4: You've got the long, I mean, it is, you know,
- 1:33Speaker 4: it is.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Classic cliche. It has been a cliche. It's been a
- 1:36Speaker 2: bit of a long running joke.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Every time they're batting together or they're standing next to
- 1:38Speaker 4: each other, people like to take photos of them because
- 1:40Speaker 4: it's so absurd. See this 206 centimeter giant and this
- 1:44Speaker 4: 162 centimeter not giant.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You know. Who was called Shorty. He was called Shorty
- 1:50Speaker 2: by Simon Harmer. when he reached triple figures. And they
- 1:55Speaker 2: put on a lot.
- 1:56Speaker 4: They put on 120, I think it was.
- 1:59Speaker 1: No, more.
- 2:00Speaker 2: It was a lot. Yeah, 120 on a pretty quick time.
- 2:04Speaker 4: And Jansen raced to 82 before he fell.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And really aggressive batting. It was just some powerhouse hitting.
- 2:14Speaker 1: One straight six I thought was about to burst through
- 2:17Speaker 1: the press box and actually hit the It's just below
- 2:20Speaker 1: the media, the radio below us.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It did have a little bit of that basketball feel
- 2:24Speaker 2: about it when things can just.
- 2:26Speaker 4: And it was only coming from one innings, but Boomer
- 2:28Speaker 4: was batting much more conservatively and sort of more conventionally
- 2:32Speaker 4: and sort of went probably around a 45 strike for most.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Of the innings or around that mark. Your take? But, yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 2: Jansen was going close to a runner ball, whacking him everywhere.
- 2:44Speaker 4: You know, he was on the verge of what would
- 2:46Speaker 4: have been one of his first test centuries, his first
- 2:48Speaker 4: professional century.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Which is remarkable.
- 2:50Speaker 4: I think there was stuff going around. He hasn't got
- 2:51Speaker 4: one since he was 13 or something. And anyway, it
- 2:54Speaker 4: wasn't quite to be for him. But, you know, Simon
- 2:59Speaker 4: Harmer picked up where he left off and then they
- 3:01Speaker 4: put on 183, I think it was, for the seventh,
- 3:04Speaker 4: the eighth wicket, which was a record for South Africa
- 3:06Speaker 4: in test cricket. Yeah, just Jansen, just... getting it going
- 3:10Speaker 4: so quickly. And then the thing for Australia was that
- 3:12Speaker 4: it was very good batting conditions. The bounce wasn't quite
- 3:15Speaker 4: there because, yes, it was a day three. It hadn't
- 3:18Speaker 4: been at all worn because they'd been under the covers
- 3:20Speaker 4: for most of the last couple of days.
- 3:22Speaker 2: The sun was out. The grass had sort of worn off.
- 3:25Speaker 4: And the key part, particularly for Australia, was that they
- 3:29Speaker 4: remained a bowler down.
- 3:31Speaker 2: For the first session because Josh Hazlewood had that stomach
- 3:34Speaker 2: bug yesterday.
- 3:35Speaker 4: He wasn't allowed to bowl in the first session of
- 3:37Speaker 4: the day under rules because he wasn't there.
- 3:38Speaker 2: He had to be off.
- 3:40Speaker 4: He couldn't bowl for as long as he'd been off
- 3:42Speaker 4: late on day two. And then perhaps even more importantly,
- 3:46Speaker 4: even when he bowled, while he fought his heart out.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly right. He was not at his best. And
- 3:52Speaker 2: of course, this was the test where Australia went in
- 3:54Speaker 2: without a specialist spinner, Nathan Lyon.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Now, the merits of that, it's an interesting situation to
- 3:59Speaker 4: judge because Scott Boland's taken five.
- 4:00Speaker 2: For him in the pick of the bowlers.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And you can't leave the other three out because they're
- 4:05Speaker 1: all fit and firing and ready to go.
- 4:07Speaker 2: And exactly. Easier in hindsight and all that.
- 4:09Speaker 4: And Bo Webster, to his credit, actually held up an
- 4:12Speaker 4: end pretty well and was pretty tight.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I think at one stage he was 18 overs and
- 4:16Speaker 1: basically going at two and over.
- 4:17Speaker 3: None for 36. And he had a few that beat
- 4:20Speaker 3: the outside edge.
- 4:21Speaker 1: There were some near misses, but it was a pretty
- 4:24Speaker 1: tidy bowling performance for a long period.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So when I look at today, I mean, I think.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I think the key battle, ultimately, and there are a
- 4:32Speaker 4: lot of different battles, but the key battle was Bavuma v.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Cummins, the two captains. And that was emblematic of the day.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Yes, there were clearly other bowlers in the attack, and
- 4:40Speaker 4: obviously Jansen and Hammer's respective roles were significant.
- 4:42Speaker 2: But Bavuma, who went on to a career-high 170-odd, his.
- 4:48Speaker 3: First test century against us. 546 minutes in the crease
- 4:51Speaker 3: over three days.
- 4:52Speaker 2: So what's that? Almost nine hours. More than nine hours.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Extraordinary.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But I thought it was emblematic when he.
- 5:00Speaker 4: pulled Pat Cummins for four to bring up his ton,
- 5:03Speaker 4: with the brass band blaring not far from here, and
- 5:05Speaker 4: that added so much to the energy of the day,
- 5:08Speaker 4: as it always does here, even when there aren't that
- 5:09Speaker 4: many people in the house.
- 5:12Speaker 2: But he was all over Cummins for the most part.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Cummins had a couple of moments earlier in the day
- 5:17Speaker 4: where I thought his short stuff was quite on point,
- 5:21Speaker 4: but as the sun came out more and the pitch
- 5:24Speaker 4: became easier to bat on, it just seemed as though...
- 5:28Speaker 4: It was just a bit too easy for the South Africans.
- 5:30Speaker 4: And he wasn't overly venomous.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And they just didn't have the options. And I do
- 5:34Speaker 2: wonder if they missed a trick by probably not bowling
- 5:35Speaker 2: a bit fuller.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Perhaps.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah. And it's interesting.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And look, Pat is actually second worst test figures today.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 5:45Speaker 2: None for 96 from 26 overs. And of course, there
- 5:47Speaker 2: are other factors. And look, it's easy to say he
- 5:49Speaker 2: could have bowled.
- 5:50Speaker 3: And I don't think he necessarily bowled.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Badly, by the way.
- 5:54Speaker 1: As I said, he definitely had periods where he was
- 5:56Speaker 1: threatening early on, and you touched on that. But Fuma
- 5:59Speaker 1: did get on top of him. I think that is
- 6:01Speaker 1: fair to say. But Australia went from being cock-a-hoop in
- 6:04Speaker 1: the morning.
- 6:05Speaker 2: They were up and about.
- 6:05Speaker 1: After securing the wicket of Mulder, understandably, because you had
- 6:09Speaker 1: them at six for 120. Was it six for 140?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Not even. Six for 110. So six for 110. And
- 6:17Speaker 1: you are well on top in thinking the only team
- 6:19Speaker 1: that's going to win this match from here is Australia.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And by the end, they were looking as flat as
- 6:25Speaker 1: a tack. And, you know, and perhaps, look, we'll see
- 6:29Speaker 1: what happens. You know, two more days to go here.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Who knows what unfolds? There is a five-day break between
- 6:35Speaker 1: the next test in Cape Town. But they were out
- 6:38Speaker 1: for a long time in one regard, 112 overs. You know,
- 6:41Speaker 1: it's a decent amount of time bowling. Whether it has
- 6:45Speaker 1: an impact, look, I'm not sure because it is just
- 6:47Speaker 1: the one innings. Like we don't, I think if South
- 6:49Speaker 1: Africa had a win, they probably don't want to bat again. No.
- 6:52Speaker 3: So it's, uh, yeah.
- 6:54Speaker 2: On the back of quite a bit of bowling in, in, um,
- 6:56Speaker 2: German as well.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Uh, we're missing us to mention though, Australia has started
- 7:00Speaker 4: batting and has won three. And this in one respect
- 7:04Speaker 4: coming out of this test match, this may be the
- 7:05Speaker 4: biggest story of all, depending on what happens to the
- 7:07Speaker 4: remainder of the match. Nick Maddison made another duck. Now,
- 7:09Speaker 4: he's sort of bought it back and it looks, it looks,
- 7:12Speaker 4: I'm not sure. It looks probably not that dark behind us.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I mean, it is clear. Like it's, what is it?
- 7:16Speaker 2: We have all those times. Oh, this 628 PM.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Uh, It's still relatively light, but not light to the
- 7:22Speaker 4: extent that you'd want to be facing Gayser, Rabada, and
- 7:25Speaker 4: the poor Nick Manson, really.
- 7:26Speaker 2: He's been thrown into the deep end with the series. Yes,
- 7:29Speaker 2: he's an experienced cricketer, but nonetheless, first time opening in
- 7:33Speaker 2: test cricket this series, comes out there. Rabada back. Rabada back.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Rabada prime.
- 7:38Speaker 2: He's been in the field all day.
- 7:40Speaker 4: He's always had his first test wicket a couple of times,
- 7:43Speaker 4: Nick Manson as well. Jansen, a couple of chances where
- 7:45Speaker 4: Jansen almost chopped on. But, yeah, steaming in. And he
- 7:50Speaker 4: looked all at seeds, to be honest, and then eventually
- 7:51Speaker 4: nicked off fourth ball it was. And where he's particularly unlucky,
- 7:55Speaker 4: so his second duck in three innings for Dick Manson,
- 7:57Speaker 4: which given that Cameron Green was batting out the back
- 8:00Speaker 4: and he was closing on the return, depending on what
- 8:02Speaker 4: happens to the remainder of the test, I think there's
- 8:04Speaker 4: definitely a world in which Renshaw opens in the third
- 8:07Speaker 4: test and Green comes into the middle order.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Or conversely, Webster drops out of the side.
- 8:12Speaker 3: And English, if Green saw fit. Or Green.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Green comes in and they just roll the dice with
- 8:17Speaker 4: four bowlers and then part-timers. We saw how that went today.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Not particularly well. Yeah, really, because that was the situation
- 8:25Speaker 4: for a lot of today without Hazelwood. But yeah, particularly
- 8:29Speaker 4: where Madison was unlucky was he, after facing the one over,
- 8:34Speaker 4: that was the only over of pace that they faced
- 8:35Speaker 4: because the very next over, Simon Harville was bowling and
- 8:37Speaker 4: the next one, Aidan Markham was bowling because they weren't
- 8:40Speaker 4: allowed to bowl pace. The line was so bad. And
- 8:41Speaker 4: then eventually they came off the bad line altogether. Scott
- 8:43Speaker 4: Boland came in as a night watchman to bat with
- 8:45Speaker 4: Travis Head. So, yeah, this is where it is very
- 8:48Speaker 4: harsh on Maddison. But at the end of the day,
- 8:49Speaker 4: he's made two ducks.
- 8:50Speaker 2: In three innings.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And, look, just listening to Talyn, we've got just over
- 8:55Speaker 1: behind us Phil Jase and Jason Gillespie, the former Australian cricketers,
- 8:59Speaker 1: having a similar type of chat recording. It's always interesting
- 9:03Speaker 1: to see the former test cricketers on the tools. Simon
- 9:06Speaker 1: Cadditch is another former player here. He said, in that circumstance,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you've just got to find a way to get to stumps.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And I think what wasn't well thought through, as well
- 9:18Speaker 1: as what Rabada was bowling, as difficult a situation was,
- 9:22Speaker 1: the second ball, it was a lot, you know, he
- 9:24Speaker 1: went for a while, the drive on the second ball
- 9:26Speaker 1: was lucky to not get out there. The third ball,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you know, there was some question marks about his footwork.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Even the way he went out both innings in Durban,
- 9:35Speaker 1: he was bowled both innings and there was some, you know,
- 9:37Speaker 1: worries about his footwork.
- 9:38Speaker 3: The third delivery was, you know, he kept it out.
- 9:41Speaker 1: But it wasn't, you know, it was sort of a great,
- 9:43Speaker 1: and then the fourth out. So it was just entirely
- 9:47Speaker 1: unconvincing and, you know.
- 9:50Speaker 3: It's a really difficult situation, but it's also, you know,
- 9:54Speaker 3: that's a question.
- 9:55Speaker 4: I wonder in hindsight now, I suppose, look, there's two
- 9:59Speaker 4: ways to put this, because.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Where was I? Yeah, I wonder, I mean, was there
- 10:03Speaker 2: an argument to say, head's like the first ball?
- 10:05Speaker 4: I mean, there's small things, clearly head's the more senior player,
- 10:08Speaker 4: but he's younger than Maddison, but he's the more established player,
- 10:11Speaker 4: he's the guy they're trying to protect, and given that
- 10:12Speaker 4: they then brought in Boland as the night watchman, shows that,
- 10:16Speaker 4: you know, there's a dynamic there where they're trying to
- 10:17Speaker 4: protect the more senior player, but it also means that.
- 10:21Speaker 2: For a guy like Maddison, you are just a lamb
- 10:23Speaker 2: to the slaughter. But conversely, you're also 34 and have
- 10:27Speaker 2: played a lot of first-class cricket.
- 10:28Speaker 3: And you are the Australian test server.
- 10:31Speaker 2: This is sort of the situation you're going to have
- 10:32Speaker 2: to face yourself. It was a very tough spot for him.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Will he bat again in the match?
- 10:37Speaker 5: That ultimately likely hinges... I suspect he will. He probably will.
- 10:41Speaker 5: The way forward for South Africa here is that they
- 10:44Speaker 5: take a quick look at tomorrow and manage to pull
- 10:46Speaker 5: Australia out.
- 10:47Speaker 4: And potentially, and we so seldom see this in test
- 10:50Speaker 4: cricket these days for myriad reasons, that they do enforce
- 10:53Speaker 4: the follow-on.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I mean, that may well be the way to win
- 10:54Speaker 2: this match.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like if.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I mean, I think the only path forward is for
- 10:59Speaker 1: them to knock Australia over, to enforce the follow-on, because
- 11:03Speaker 1: I think if they have to go.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Back in and bet for the 2030 overs.
- 11:07Speaker 4: That could cut too much time out of the game,
- 11:08Speaker 4: bearing in mind that there is some rain forecast still.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So it could all be a moot point. Yeah, it's
- 11:14Speaker 2: just a strange situation.
- 11:15Speaker 4: One that's reminiscent of when Australia's had a few tough
- 11:17Speaker 4: days in the field under Pat Cummins. Not too many,
- 11:19Speaker 4: because they've been a bloody good team. But it certainly
- 11:23Speaker 4: took me back to Manchester 2023. That day when Johnny
- 11:27Speaker 4: Bairstow and Zach Crawley got away from them. And Cummins conceded,
- 11:32Speaker 4: I think, the worst figures of his career. Or maybe,
- 11:36Speaker 4: I think it was 131. Yeah, so not quite as good.
- 11:40Speaker 4: The most expensive, but not the worst because he took
- 11:43Speaker 4: a wicket on that occasion. And to be fair, if
- 11:44Speaker 4: that comes in his defence, he should have had a
- 11:46Speaker 4: wicket about 24 hours ago because Manus Labashain dropped one.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Off his bowling.
- 11:48Speaker 3: And he has said he was quite unlucky.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Early days. So look, these things can balance out over
- 11:54Speaker 2: a period of time.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 4: So anyway, they may well, it could all be a
- 12:00Speaker 4: moot point, but ultimately, thank God there's life back in
- 12:03Speaker 4: the series because we left here yesterday and I think
- 12:06Speaker 4: it was A fair sense, given South Africa are already
- 12:08Speaker 4: five down, the Maya, all of us doing incredible things.
- 12:11Speaker 4: You thought, well, this could easily end today. Not end today,
- 12:16Speaker 4: on day three, but as a contest, Australia could be
- 12:19Speaker 4: so far in front that it would be South Africa
- 12:21Speaker 4: clinging on to try to stave off defeat. Whereas now
- 12:24Speaker 4: it's flipped and there's a fair chance, it's not been
- 12:27Speaker 4: on the realms of South Africa, it could go one all,
- 12:30Speaker 4: get us one all. Rabada's in the contest, Bavuma's in
- 12:32Speaker 4: the contest, you've got some star power there. Finally, particularly
- 12:35Speaker 4: given some of the crowds have been underwhelming, it feels
- 12:37Speaker 4: like the series is alive.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yes.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Particularly heading to Cape Town, there's actually some excitement in it.
- 12:42Speaker 4: And it's good that Australia is at least going to
- 12:43Speaker 4: have to work for this.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Yes.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Which I think, in the grand scheme of things, is
- 12:48Speaker 2: good for test cricket.
- 12:49Speaker 3: And look, it was here eight years ago that things
- 12:51Speaker 3: started to turn. Yes.
- 12:53Speaker 1: South Africa bounced back strongly. A lot was made in Durban.
- 12:57Speaker 1: They hadn't played for 12 months. They hadn't played a
- 12:59Speaker 1: test for 12 months. Clearly far sharper for Voomer. And
- 13:03Speaker 1: he worked really hard. And we shouldn't really just touch
- 13:05Speaker 1: on Babuma. It was a remarkable performance. He was so,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you know, early on in the innings, don't forget he
- 13:11Speaker 1: came in face to hat-trick ball. Yes. So face to
- 13:15Speaker 1: hat-trick ball against a rampaging bull, Scott Boland.
- 13:18Speaker 3: And it was a near run. You got an inside edge.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It was a very tight thing.
- 13:22Speaker 1: But early on, he dabbed. You know, he was soft hands.
- 13:24Speaker 1: He was just rotating the strike, trying to get himself
- 13:26Speaker 1: into the game. From then into the match, from then on,
- 13:30Speaker 1: He batted judiciously. He was exceptionally good. It's his highest
- 13:35Speaker 1: test score. We asked him just before he came into
- 13:37Speaker 1: press afterwards, you know, he asked him to make another
- 13:40Speaker 1: cameo on the podcast.
- 13:41Speaker 3: He said, look, I've done all my batting in the
- 13:43Speaker 3: inside nets. But we asked him where it sat.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Now, clearly, the historic century, the first black South African
- 13:49Speaker 1: cricket to make a century a decade ago, that one
- 13:51Speaker 1: sits at the top with various reasons and good reasons.
- 13:54Speaker 1: But this one, exceptionally important because it was against Australia
- 13:59Speaker 1: and it was against Australia an Australian attack that has
- 14:01Speaker 1: these legends and, and it threw me back. And I,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and I went back out of chat to Josh Hazelwood
- 14:05Speaker 1: in early September at the SCJ and was trying to
- 14:08Speaker 1: pull together something on temporary, you know, this man of history,
- 14:10Speaker 1: you know him, you know, what would be Australians? I said,
- 14:12Speaker 1: because he doesn't play franchise cricket, they don't have heaps
- 14:14Speaker 1: to do with him outside of that. But what Josh
- 14:16Speaker 1: Hazelwood said at the time was one thing I really
- 14:18Speaker 1: respect about Tim Boomer is that he comes in and
- 14:22Speaker 1: he makes runs in tough conditions when South Africa made them,
- 14:26Speaker 1: there was none tougher than the position.
- 14:28Speaker 3: That they found themselves in when he first came to
- 14:30Speaker 3: the crease.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Even this morning, there was none tougher when they're 6-4-1-10.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And it was a masterclass, a masterful innings, and one
- 14:38Speaker 1: of the better testing innings you'll see.
- 14:40Speaker 2: It was really, it was the inverse of Matt Renshaw
- 14:44Speaker 2: last week.
- 14:45Speaker 4: I mean, but probably even more remarkable given they were
- 14:48Speaker 4: even further on the back foot and they were already
- 14:50Speaker 4: one rubber down and against probably a more accomplished attack,
- 14:54Speaker 4: all these considered, even notwithstanding that line being dropped in.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Josh Hazelwood being down.
- 14:58Speaker 4: So yeah, look, there's, there's, there's life in the series again.
- 15:02Speaker 4: And you know, we have Timber Vavuma, Keith Sarabata, Marco
- 15:05Speaker 4: Janssen and Simon Harmer to thank for that.
- 15:07Speaker 2: And maybe a dodgy prawn. Maybe a dodgy prawn. Just
- 15:10Speaker 2: like I said that Josh Hazelwood would have had it.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Poor old Josh Hazelwood. That could be, um, just dodge
- 15:14Speaker 4: the prawns. I'll tell you what, if the series does
- 15:16Speaker 4: turn South Africa somehow win this.
- 15:17Speaker 2: 2-1, don't go the raw prawn. Prawn gate. Maybe, um, yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 2: may become a narrative of the series retrospectively.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Um, As always, you can read Dan's fine work at Codesports.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm sure you'll have a couple of analysis. I expect
- 15:31Speaker 1: this to come on what was the bowling performance from
- 15:33Speaker 1: the Australians, what it all means for tomorrow. We also
- 15:36Speaker 1: have extensive coverage at foxsports.com.au. Thanks for joining the follow-on podcast.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings. If it's a
- 15:47Speaker 1: batting masterclass from the Australians, well, you know, it might
- 15:50Speaker 1: be a bit more of a conventional day five game
- 15:54Speaker 1: just making runs. But if Rabada gets up and going
- 15:58Speaker 1: early and he was menacing in that one over tonight,
- 16:00Speaker 1: who knows what we've got to bring in tomorrow night.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Thanks for joining us.
