  SPEAKER_00: And I know some of you podcasters out there are going to get a kick out of this and might even laugh.

  SPEAKER_00: But you know what?

  SPEAKER_00: When you're starting out as a podcaster, I don't know about you, but there's so many times where I just kind of wanted to give up and give in and be like, oh, I don't know.

  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.

  SPEAKER_00: I know, God, that you want me to do this and you have driven me to want to do this podcast.

  SPEAKER_00: But there has been some challenges along the way.

  SPEAKER_00: And I know that by hitting this episode, I hit a milestone.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm super excited about that.

  SPEAKER_00: So although this is a podcast that turns pain into power and trauma into triumph, the Lord laid out on my heart today that it is more than that.

  SPEAKER_00: And even though I'm only hitting one of my hurdles in my goals and in my challenges for myself, I know that God is teaching me and showing me what He really wants to come out of this podcast.

  SPEAKER_00: This podcast is also about exposing lies, lies of the enemy, and breaking curses through through truth and equipping believers to walk in lasting freedom, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Through the grace and the power of Jesus Christ.

  SPEAKER_00: This is what God has been showing me this all week long.

  SPEAKER_00: He's been really on my heart lately to just take a breath, sit back and go, you know, just share this, share this moment, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: And so I'm super excited because see, your voice and your testimony, it has an impact on dismantling strongholds.

  SPEAKER_00: And to me, that's so exciting.

  SPEAKER_00: And that truly is the heart of this podcast.

  SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what we want to conquer.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, we want the enemy to be to be defeated.

  SPEAKER_00: So with this episode number 10, this is the end of a four-part series.

  SPEAKER_00: But before I dive into this episode, I just want to recap a little bit about um the the previous three episodes, seven, eight, and nine.

  SPEAKER_00: So let's let's take off and let's get this podcast going, shall we?

  SPEAKER_00: Because I'm got so much to share with you.

  SPEAKER_00: And I don't want to just keep you all day long, but I have a lot on my mind and a lot on my heart today.

  SPEAKER_00: So if you can't tell how excited I am, I just really want you to know that I am super blessed and I'm super thankful that you're here and you're listening today.

  SPEAKER_00: So let's take off, okay, shall we?

  SPEAKER_00: So in episode number um number seven, eight, and nine, we talked about what fear is.

  SPEAKER_00: We talked about fear um as being a stronghold.

  SPEAKER_00: And for me, um, I think fear is one of the strongest strongholds that people face.

  SPEAKER_00: For me, fear had a huge impact on my life.
• 3:22
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, and I'm gonna share a little bit more about that.
• 3:24
  SPEAKER_00: But I want to talk about um what I went over a little bit with the other episodes.

  SPEAKER_00: I talked about how fear is an unpleasant emotion, it's not, it's not always something that's gonna be um um fun.
• 3:38
  SPEAKER_00: Let's just say fear is not always fun, but um it can have a huge impact and then it can affect our lives and the outcome of our circumstance over our situation if we allow it to.

  SPEAKER_00: So we really need to discuss um what fear is all about and where our fear really needs to be.

  SPEAKER_00: Our fear needs to be um in the Lord.
• 4:05
  SPEAKER_00: We only should have fear of the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: We don't have a spirit of fear, but there's other fears that I want to talk about.

  SPEAKER_00: So in episode seven, I talked about the seven types of fears, and today I'm gonna break just a few of those down because they all tie together, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: It's all the same emotion, they're just different circumstances, they're different aspects of the meaning of fear.

  SPEAKER_00: So I really want to look at that today.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, as we dive into episode number 10.

  SPEAKER_00: Yay, I'm so excited.
• 4:36
  SPEAKER_00: Um, let's talk about these other types of fears.
• 4:40
  SPEAKER_00: So there's the fear of nature, there's the fear of the unknown, um, there's fear of danger, um, there's also fear of failure and of death.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I kind of want to dive into that a little bit deeper um before we just start crushing fear.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, today we are going to crush fear, okay.
• 5:04
  SPEAKER_00: I personally want to share with you though that I have I have struggled my entire life with fear.
• 5:10
  SPEAKER_00: It has been um something that has held me back too many times.
• 5:16
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, but one thing I've learned about fear is that fear it wears many masks, and each one of those masks it whispers the same lies.

  SPEAKER_00: All of those masks say the same things over and over and over and over and over again.
• 5:33
  SPEAKER_00: It tells me that I'm not safe, that um I am not um in control of anything, and that I'm always gonna be alone, and that I never ever will ever measure up.

  SPEAKER_00: That's what the lie of fear does to me, and that's what I know it does to so many other people.
• 5:54
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, it has that hold, that effect, and that power on people.
• 5:59
  SPEAKER_00: And so that's why I really want to break this down today, because I want to show you just how crazy it is that we allow fear to control us when we get to have complete control over fear, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: So, again, I cannot express enough that fear is a stronghold and it does need to get crushed.

  SPEAKER_00: It can grip your heart and it can actually paralyze your mind, and it can even cloud your soul, okay?
• 6:24
  SPEAKER_00: And it can keep you stuck, it can keep you in a place you don't want to be.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, but let me tell you something.
• 6:30
  SPEAKER_00: Um, as we talked about in episode nine, God God has given us a spirit of fear.

  SPEAKER_00: It says that in 2 Timothy, and we're gonna read that a little bit later, not right this second.

  SPEAKER_00: But um in knowing that we have not been given the spirit of fear, why do we have so much fear?
• 6:50
  SPEAKER_00: That's my question for you.
• 6:51
  SPEAKER_00: Why, why are we so afraid?
• 6:53
  SPEAKER_00: Why are we letting it hold us back?
• 6:55
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, now the fear of nature it reminds us sometimes of how small we are compared to this great big world that we live in, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: And how um it can be terrifying, especially with what's going on in the world today.
• 7:09
  SPEAKER_00: But guess what?
• 7:10
  SPEAKER_00: Creation in itself bows down to the very sound of the creator, and that's God.

  SPEAKER_00: That's why God didn't give us the spirit of fear.
• 7:21
  SPEAKER_00: God's already been in control, He's the creator of all things natural, every disaster, any, any, any um hurricane, tornado, earthquake, fire, any of that, God still is in control.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, it's devastating, yes, it can be very terrifying, and yes, there's gonna be some hardship with it, but we need to remember who the creator is and who's in control of it.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, now when we think about nature, we also think about the unknown.

  SPEAKER_00: We don't know when we when we turn on the TV and we hear reports um about what's happening with all of the fires and um the ground shaking and and the earth shifting and all of the stuff that's going on across the world, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe not just right where you're at, but it's happening all across the world, okay.

  SPEAKER_00: Um God talks about that in the Bible, which that's a completely another episode of its own, but we don't know what's gonna happen, and that brings people fear of also the unknown, the unknowing.

  SPEAKER_00: And so it reflects um how limited our vision can be, because we don't know.
• 8:36
  SPEAKER_00: So we can't visualize the outcome because we're not supposed to know.
• 8:40
  SPEAKER_00: And honestly, it's it's interesting when we think about it from Genesis to Revelation, who start who started creation?
• 8:50
  SPEAKER_00: God did.
• 8:51
  SPEAKER_00: So God is the beginning and the end, and the ending and the beginning.

  SPEAKER_00: He he's from start to finish, all the way through and through.
• 8:58
  SPEAKER_00: He knows it, even if we don't, he sees it even if we don't.

  SPEAKER_00: So we gotta put our faith and our trust in God instead of into the fear of nature and the fear of the unknown, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Because we don't see what God sees, but God does see and God does know.

  SPEAKER_00: So now let's let's talk about um the fear of danger and how vulnerable it makes us feel.

  SPEAKER_00: Have you ever felt very vulnerable because you've been afraid of something?
• 9:29
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, um, it it it's literally caused you to feel weak.
• 9:33
  SPEAKER_00: I feel I have felt very weakened in my lifetime because um of the dangers around me, okay?
• 9:39
  SPEAKER_00: But I didn't have um the strength or the power to overcome that.
• 9:44
  SPEAKER_00: But see, God is he's our fortress and our shield, okay?
• 9:48
  SPEAKER_00: He literally um will be our protector in all of that danger, okay?
• 9:56
  SPEAKER_00: And even though we are going to go through trials and tribulations, the Bible clearly says we are going to go through some stuff, some serious stuff.

  SPEAKER_00: And some of it's not going to be easy, and some of it can be terrifying, but we need to trust God.

  SPEAKER_00: We need to put our faith in God and knowing that He knows what's going to happen.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay.

  SPEAKER_00: So let's let's look at um, besides just the fear of danger, um, let's look at the fear of failure.

  SPEAKER_00: This is probably one of the fears that I struggled with the most in my lifetime.

  SPEAKER_00: And I want to be completely transparent when I talk to you about this, because when I I reached a point of failure, which was quite a bit in my life, I started a lot of stuff and never completed it because I was afraid of failure.

  SPEAKER_00: I'd never seen anything to the finish line.
• 10:50
  SPEAKER_00: I just thought, you know, if I didn't finish it, I wouldn't have to see my failure in it.
• 10:55
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 10:56
  SPEAKER_00: And I didn't think about God's presence or grace in what I was doing.

  SPEAKER_00: And even if I did fail, okay.
• 11:08
  SPEAKER_00: So I didn't allow God the ability to work through my shortcomings.
• 11:15
  SPEAKER_00: God works through our shortcomings.
• 11:18
  SPEAKER_00: That's what he's there for.
• 11:19
  SPEAKER_00: He does that.
• 11:20
  SPEAKER_00: And it builds our strength when we allow him to work through us.
• 11:26
  SPEAKER_00: Um, he and we realize that we can't have full ability on ourselves, that we have to rely on him, then he's gonna help us through those shortcomings.

  SPEAKER_00: And I love that about God because for years and years and years of my life, I I didn't even consider his presence with anything that I was up against.

  SPEAKER_00: All of the challenges in my life and all of the things that I I felt like I was gonna fail at, all of the things I I left unfinished, incomplete, because I didn't want that to be the end result.

  SPEAKER_00: So I just said, I'm not gonna do it.

  SPEAKER_00: Like this podcast, this being a milestone.
• 12:05
  SPEAKER_00: I I was like 10 episodes.
• 12:07
  SPEAKER_00: Am I ever gonna see 10 episodes when I started episode number one?
• 12:10
  SPEAKER_00: And here we are today.
• 12:11
  SPEAKER_00: Because see, now I know I know about God's presence, and I know if I'm spending time being obedient and in his word, he's gonna see me through it.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's really exciting for me.
• 12:20
  SPEAKER_00: And that opens up so many doors, it also opens up so many opportunities to um not allow myself to be um locked in to that fear because that fear can have quite a hold on you if you allow it to, because I know for me, I allowed it to hold me down and and pull me back, and I lost opportunities and I didn't grow because I gave up, and I didn't um learn from it because I just felt like I was gonna always stay there.

  SPEAKER_00: But let me share something with you, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: When we take a step back and we realize there's gonna be opportunity in the growth, and we will grow from it, and that we don't have to be stuck in the fear of failure because it's not a permanent place of defeat.

  SPEAKER_00: We are not permanent permanently gonna be stuck there.
• 13:18
  SPEAKER_00: It is something that we can overcome, okay?
• 13:20
  SPEAKER_00: And that to me is also exciting.
• 13:22
  SPEAKER_00: I think that's super exciting.
• 13:24
  SPEAKER_00: Now let's talk about the fear of death, okay.
• 13:27
  SPEAKER_00: When I think about death myself, it literally brings me, um, or it literally brings Jesus, the victory over death, and offers believers hope for eternal life.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I'm I've never been afraid of death.
• 13:42
  SPEAKER_00: That's one of the fears I can honestly say that I have not struggled with, but I know people do struggle with it.
• 13:48
  SPEAKER_00: They're afraid of dying.
• 13:50
  SPEAKER_00: And I look at it as um, my time here is over, and now I'm on to my eternal life with Jesus Christ.
• 13:59
  SPEAKER_00: And I know that we have a job to do.
• 14:01
  SPEAKER_00: God has given us an assignment, He has brought us here for a purpose.
• 14:05
  SPEAKER_00: And when we get to the end of that and we finish it, then we get to go stand before God, and God gets to tell us, He's gonna judge us on how well we did or didn't do.

  SPEAKER_00: And I know for myself, um, I have a lot of making up to do because of the fear of my failures that held me back from my purpose.

  SPEAKER_00: I didn't complete all of those assignments that God put in front of me.
• 14:27
  SPEAKER_00: So fearing death wasn't um something I was afraid of.
• 14:32
  SPEAKER_00: I fear God more than that because I fear what He's gonna say about the things that I didn't get accomplished while I did live my life here on earth.
• 14:39
  SPEAKER_00: So I'm not really afraid of that.
• 14:41
  SPEAKER_00: But if that's you today, you don't have to be afraid of that because we have eternal life after Jesus.
• 14:45
  SPEAKER_00: And if you have Jesus, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
• 14:49
  SPEAKER_00: You don't have to be afraid of death ever.
• 14:52
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 14:53
  SPEAKER_00: Um, it can be sad, it can be hard to let someone go when you when you um um have experienced the death of someone that you love.

  SPEAKER_00: I understand that completely.
• 15:04
  SPEAKER_00: I know that we have a heart and a desire that we miss people, and we kind of can be very selfish when it comes to our loved ones and our family and our friends and people that we're close to that we don't want to see gone.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, I get all of that.
• 15:18
  SPEAKER_00: But again, they're in a better place.
• 15:21
  SPEAKER_00: When when they pass away, they're in a better place.
• 15:24
  SPEAKER_00: They're no longer having to deal with the suffering that that is happening here on this earth at all.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 15:31
  SPEAKER_00: Um, they have already fulfilled their purpose and now they are waiting for their judgment for judgment day, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: So we we know that um death is it's it's a natural experience, and we're all gonna die.
• 15:45
  SPEAKER_00: And I know that doesn't sound very exciting, but um, as believers, we are not enslaved by fear of death because of Jesus and what Jesus did on the cross, his sacrifice.

  SPEAKER_00: And that sacrifice provides a way to overcome and um it offers eternal life.

  SPEAKER_00: So for that, I'm eternally grateful.
• 16:06
  SPEAKER_00: I hope you are too, and I hope that that makes sense to you, and that actually will um enlighten you and lighten the load and uplift and remove that fear because it's kind of exciting when you think about it instead of terrifying.

  SPEAKER_00: We need to get rid of the terror and and and um grasp the excitement of our our life eternally, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Now, let's talk about the fear of man and um the fear of man that is its own topic, and I'm going to actually have another discussion about this a little bit later on in a different episode, but I am going to touch base on it just briefly because it is a fear that um we are talking about and it is a stronghold.

  SPEAKER_00: But the fear of man literally falls flat, it it holds no merit over you.
• 16:58
  SPEAKER_00: Don't be afraid of people and allow people to have that power and put you into submission to fearing them.

  SPEAKER_00: Because I'm gonna tell you something.

  SPEAKER_00: It says in the word of God that every knee shall bow to God.
• 17:13
  SPEAKER_00: We all will be on our knees one day.
• 17:16
  SPEAKER_00: Even the person that's trying to have power over you is gonna be right beside you, bowing to bowing down to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

  SPEAKER_00: And for me, that gives me so much encouragement to not be afraid of what any person out there has to say or think about me, or or whether they disagree with what I'm doing, or if they don't like something I'm doing, or um, if they just try to intimidate me, okay.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna let that happen.

  SPEAKER_00: I've allowed that to happen my entire life, literally from birth.
• 17:48
  SPEAKER_00: I've allowed to be intimidated by the fear of man, along with failure.

  SPEAKER_00: That will be like right up there with it, okay?
• 17:55
  SPEAKER_00: So keep that in mind, the king of kings and the lord of lords.

  SPEAKER_00: When you start to fear man, let that thought come into your head.

  SPEAKER_00: And remember, just envision them literally bowing down next to you to the same King of Kings, the same Lord of Lords, and that fear literally will go away.

  SPEAKER_00: It'll go away, and you might actually be just just rejoice in it because it takes it away when you when you get that thought in your mind, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: So we don't just understand and manage fear, we crush it.

  SPEAKER_00: We crush it every day.

  SPEAKER_00: You know why?
• 18:30
  SPEAKER_00: Because we have to.

  SPEAKER_00: How do we crush it?
• 18:32
  SPEAKER_00: Well, let's get the word of God out, let's get our Bibles out, let's dive into the scripture again.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, let's get it.

  SPEAKER_00: I got it right here.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to share it.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm super excited.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to share this with you.

  SPEAKER_00: Second Timothy Um chapter one, verse seven.

  SPEAKER_00: We did go over the scripture in episode nine, but it's important enough to go over again.

  SPEAKER_00: It says, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, we are not victims of fear.

  SPEAKER_00: We're not victims of fear.

  SPEAKER_00: I don't know about you.
• 19:09
  SPEAKER_00: Raise your hand.

  SPEAKER_00: That's you.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, I can't see you, but I know you can see me.

  SPEAKER_00: I have been a victim of fear for way too long in my lifetime.
• 19:19
  SPEAKER_00: And shame on me for that.

  SPEAKER_00: Seriously, shame on me.
• 19:23
  SPEAKER_00: Because this scripture right here that God gives us says, I did not give you that spirit.
• 19:29
  SPEAKER_00: I gave you the spirit of power over that fear.
• 19:33
  SPEAKER_00: I gave you the spirit of love over that fear, and I gave you the spirit of a sound mind over that fear.

  SPEAKER_00: It's so important that we understand that we are equipped with the tools.
• 19:49
  SPEAKER_00: This word alone is a tool, okay?
• 19:51
  SPEAKER_00: We are equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit.
• 19:55
  SPEAKER_00: If we have Jesus living inside of us, okay, then we have the power to stand up against the stronghold of fear.

  SPEAKER_00: And I want to emphasize this so much today because when you start doing that and you step into the victory, guess what?

  SPEAKER_00: Spiritual joy becomes yours.
• 20:18
  SPEAKER_00: It's yours.
• 20:19
  SPEAKER_00: It's no longer the enemy.
• 20:21
  SPEAKER_00: The enemy doesn't get to take away your happiness.
• 20:23
  SPEAKER_00: The enemy doesn't get to take away your joy anymore.
• 20:26
  SPEAKER_00: You get to have it all.
• 20:28
  SPEAKER_00: You get to have it.
• 20:29
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 20:30
  SPEAKER_00: Now, not that fear won't show up.
• 20:32
  SPEAKER_00: Let me make sure that I I um explain this to where you understand that once we decide that we're not gonna put up with fear anymore, that doesn't mean it's not gonna come.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, it is going to come.
• 20:46
  SPEAKER_00: And it's gonna keep coming.
• 20:48
  SPEAKER_00: We are going to face trials and tribulations.
• 20:50
  SPEAKER_00: The word says this.

  SPEAKER_00: We are gonna face many of them.
• 20:53
  SPEAKER_00: You may have already faced many, and you may be facing many right now.

  SPEAKER_00: You may still be in the struggle.
• 20:59
  SPEAKER_00: I've been in the struggle, I was deep in the struggle, and as I've been climbing out and and tearing down those strongholds bit by bit, um there's been a spiritual joy that has come over me that has just brought me um so much clarity in my life to where I just want to shout the victory of Jesus because I'm excited.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm excited knowing that God gave me the power to not put up with that fear in my life anymore.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, so when you think about it, um when fear comes, you don't even have to be alone in it anymore.

  SPEAKER_00: When fear comes, you are absolutely not alone in it.
• 21:46
  SPEAKER_00: You know why?
• 21:47
  SPEAKER_00: Because you have the one, you have the one and only that walks on water, you have the one that calms the storm, you have the one that actually commands angels, and you Know what he calls you his own.

  SPEAKER_00: You you're his.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, you have the power over all fear by standing in the authority of Jesus Christ.

  SPEAKER_00: Amen.

  SPEAKER_00: Isn't that exciting?

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, come on.

  SPEAKER_00: I don't know about you, but you should be ecstatic.

  SPEAKER_00: You should be ecstatic when you hear about this.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 22:20
  SPEAKER_00: Because since the beginning of time, fear has literally tried to rule mankind.

  SPEAKER_00: It has.

  SPEAKER_00: That's why we have fear of danger and the unknown and failure and death and man and the spirit of fear that we're up against every single day.

  SPEAKER_00: But if we keep our eyes and our focus on God and we have fear of the Lord and not fear of any of those other fears, those fears will be defeated.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, there's a time that I mean, I literally allowed fear to have its grubby claws just digging into me.

  SPEAKER_00: And um constantly, constantly, I was being defeated by fear.

  SPEAKER_00: But let me tell you, in the Bible, we're not the only ones.

  SPEAKER_00: You and I are not the only ones that are defeated by fear.

  SPEAKER_00: Even the Bible tells us stories about how Adam he hid in the garden because he was afraid.

  SPEAKER_00: He was afraid, and that's a fear, my friend.

  SPEAKER_00: When you're hiding from God, that means you are afraid of something.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay.

  SPEAKER_00: He was hiding.

  SPEAKER_00: The Israelites, they even trembled when the Red Sea parted.

  SPEAKER_00: Can you just imagine walking through the Red Sea?

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, and I know you all have seen pictures.

  SPEAKER_00: And if you haven't looked them up, look up pictures of the parting of the Red Sea and how little they were compared to how big the water was that they had to walk through when that sea was parted.

  SPEAKER_00: It wasn't like a little trickle of water, you know.

  SPEAKER_00: It was a huge, massive sea split in two.

  SPEAKER_00: And as you're walking through it, and it's muddy and you're making your way, and and you see these great big waves.

  SPEAKER_00: I can just imagine why they were trembling, thinking that water can come down any minute.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm I'm I'm a goner.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm a goner.

  SPEAKER_00: That would be a moment to be fear and death right there.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, I could just see the Israelites trembling at the Red Sea.

  SPEAKER_00: And what about the disciples?

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, they panicked in the storm.

  SPEAKER_00: They all panicked because they were afraid of a storm.

  SPEAKER_00: Look how many storms we're facing today.

  SPEAKER_00: Look how many, you know how many terrified people are out there right now?

  SPEAKER_00: There's some times that I've even felt terrified for people out there.

  SPEAKER_00: When I when I see um the news on TV, it not only tugs my heart, um, but it makes me a little bit nervous.

  SPEAKER_00: I I will be honest, I I have found myself being afraid of it, and then I have to focus back on God and be like, God, I know you know what you're doing.

  SPEAKER_00: God has always answered fear with his presence.

  SPEAKER_00: And Jesus, you know, when he called Peter out on the water, Peter was even afraid.

  SPEAKER_00: Because he even doubted Jesus in the moment.

  SPEAKER_00: There's stories in the Bible that talk about these fears and how just by his presence, fear was gone.

  SPEAKER_00: Today he still walks with us.

  SPEAKER_00: Because when fear arises, let me tell you this: when fear arises, we're not supposed to run and hide.

  SPEAKER_00: We're supposed to take this word and we're supposed to remember it, and we're supposed to use it, use it to our benefit, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Um, we need to remember the one who holds all of creation.

  SPEAKER_00: He holds us in his hands, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: We need to remember that Jesus, sorry, Jesus defeated the greatest danger of all.

  SPEAKER_00: And um there's I I could go on for quite a while on this topic because not only am I excited as I'm learning about it, and God is working and moving in my life, and he's allowing me to crush the strongholds of fear in my own um battle, and I'm gaining that freedom back that I lost, and he's renewing me.

  SPEAKER_00: Um he's showing me something that I hadn't been doing for a long, long, long time.

  SPEAKER_00: I've done it in the past, but I haven't done it continuously, and I haven't done it for a while, and that is proclaiming the power over fear.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, we have to declare it by speaking against it.

  SPEAKER_00: So I challenge you to do that.

  SPEAKER_00: I challenge you to proclaim power over fear.

  SPEAKER_00: Well, for one, you need to not let fool uh fear rule you, not the fear of nature, not the fear of the unknown, not the fear of danger.

  SPEAKER_00: My steps were ordered by the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: My steps are not ordered by fear.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, my path has already been laid before me by the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we get on the wrong path because we attach ourselves to fear.

  SPEAKER_00: And I can and I will reject fear of failure and of danger and of death even because he is my refuge and he is my strength.

  SPEAKER_00: God is gonna be the one that I'm gonna put my trust into and believe that he knows what he's doing from the beginning to the end, from the start to the finish.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, I absolutely will not bow down to fear anymore.

  SPEAKER_00: I I am literally declaring this to you, being completely transparent, that I'm not going to be bowing down to fear.

  SPEAKER_00: He's like, Boy, do I have a load for you.

  SPEAKER_00: I want spiritual joy, and I want to be clothed in it.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to be clothed in power, and I want to be filled with peace, and I want to be covered in perfect love.

  SPEAKER_00: Jesus dying on the cross was perfect love.

  SPEAKER_00: That was his love for me, and that is his love for you, my friends.

  SPEAKER_00: So I want you to know that as we speak to fear, it has no place.

  SPEAKER_00: It has no place here, it has no place anywhere in my life, in my home, over my family.

  SPEAKER_00: So as we reflect in our closing today, in this episode, I wanna I wanna remind you that um our humanity it's kind of a human nature to have a desire.

  SPEAKER_00: Let me see what the word I'm thinking about is.

  SPEAKER_00: Um we have fear that approaches us, and we have to face it head on, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Um, I my my thoughts kind of got twisted there for a minute.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, so let me get back on track here.

  SPEAKER_00: When we have to face fear, I think God sometimes will put us in the test, you know, those trials and tribulations I was talking about earlier.

  SPEAKER_00: I think God puts us in the midst of that because it's an invitation to trust God more deeply and more profoundly.

  SPEAKER_00: Are you doing that today?

  SPEAKER_00: When when fear feels threatening, God reminds us He's in control.

  SPEAKER_00: He's in control of all creation.
• 33:26
  SPEAKER_00: All creation.

  SPEAKER_00: He's in control of even fear.

  SPEAKER_00: When fear seems too big, he invites us to rest in perfect wisdom.

  SPEAKER_00: In the book of Proverbs, we get that wisdom from Proverbs.

  SPEAKER_00: We talked about that too, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: We did talk about that.
• 33:43
  SPEAKER_00: Um, when fear uh presses in, he promises that he will be our shield.

  SPEAKER_00: That's a promise.

  SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of promises in the word of God, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: When we get intimidated or we get wounded, I don't know about you.

  SPEAKER_00: I've been wounded in my lifetime.

  SPEAKER_00: I have battle scars, actually.
• 34:06
  SPEAKER_00: Some are internal, some are external.

  SPEAKER_00: I have some battle scars of some deeply engraved wounds because I've allowed the fear of man, the fear of failure, the fear of intimidation to take control over me.

  SPEAKER_00: And I've allowed it to um give me battle scars.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, basically.
• 34:25
  SPEAKER_00: But when we get wounded, you know what God does?

  SPEAKER_00: He whispers to us, and you know what he says?

  SPEAKER_00: I love this.

  SPEAKER_00: You know what God says?
• 34:31
  SPEAKER_00: He says, You're mine.
• 34:34
  SPEAKER_00: He says, Child, you're mine.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm a child of the king.

  SPEAKER_00: The king of kings, the lord of lords, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: And and and and as we release all of this fear, guess what?

  SPEAKER_00: We start to regain joy and peace and comfort.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, and and it's not the not joy in the circumstance, because sometimes the circumstance that brings the fear, that's not pleasant.

  SPEAKER_00: That's not pleasant, but it's a spiritual joy rooted in his unchanging love for us.

  SPEAKER_00: It doesn't change.

  SPEAKER_00: God does not change.

  SPEAKER_00: He's the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

  SPEAKER_00: So we can put our trust in that that he's not gonna change.

  SPEAKER_00: He's not changing his word, he's not changing his mind, he's not gonna change the ending that he's already laid before us.

  SPEAKER_00: He's not gonna go and erase the path and give us a new one.

  SPEAKER_00: He's not gonna do that, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: The enemy wants us to think that.

  SPEAKER_00: The enemy wants to keep us paralyzed, but Jesus came to set us free.

  SPEAKER_00: And in Christ, we have power over all that fear.

  SPEAKER_00: So we need to let that truth, we need to let it really sink in.

  SPEAKER_00: And we need to let it sink in deeply, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Deep, clear into your soul.

  SPEAKER_00: When you start making that connection to Jesus, you can laugh in the face of fear.

  SPEAKER_00: It's it's ridiculous how much we're afraid of so many things in life, and how we let it grab onto us and have a stronghold and weigh us down.

  SPEAKER_00: And it starts piling brick upon brick upon brick on our lives.

  SPEAKER_00: And and we need to stop that.

  SPEAKER_00: We need to start crushing it.
• 36:24
  SPEAKER_00: We need to start breaking down the strongholds, and we need to start crushing every single one of them, every single fear that comes our way, okay?

  SPEAKER_00: Because God wants us to know that we are safe, and not only are we safe, but we are victorious.

  SPEAKER_00: We've already won the battle.

  SPEAKER_00: The victory is already ours.

  SPEAKER_00: We have Jesus in our heart.
