Here's this week's work to fuel and fortify
• 1:00
  your prayer walk.
• 1:04
  Hello, and welcome
• 1:06
to today's episode of Divine five fifteen.
• 1:10
We're going into the round talking about prayer.
• 1:14
And today, I wanna talk to you about
• 1:16
  the power of applying
• 1:18
  scripture in prayer.
• 1:20
The scripture that I'm coming from today is
• 1:23
  Hebrews
• 1:24
  four twelve.
• 1:26
For the word of God is alive and
• 1:27
  active,
• 1:29
sharper than any double edged sword.
• 1:31
It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit,
• 1:35
  joints and marrow.
• 1:37
It judges the thoughts and attitudes
• 1:39
  of the heart.
• 1:42
God's word is not just meant to be
• 1:44
read, but rather to be spoken,
• 1:46
  believed,
• 1:48
  prayed, and lived out.
• 1:51
  When we pray scripture,
• 1:53
we align our hearts with God's truth and
• 1:56
  invite his presence
• 1:58
into our lives on a daily basis.
• 2:01
Applying God's word in prayer builds faith,
• 2:05
  pushes back our fear,
• 2:07
  and breaks spiritual resistance
• 2:10
  that comes from
• 2:12
  the enemy.
• 2:15
The word reveals the hidden places,
• 2:18
gives language to what our hearts feel,
• 2:21
and authority to what we declare
• 2:25
when we mix it with our faith.
• 2:28
When we pray God's word, we apply kingdom
• 2:31
  principles
• 2:32
  and instruction
• 2:33
  while allowing God to dictate
• 2:36
  the purpose for our lives.
• 2:39
  Let's pray.
• 2:42
Father god, teach me to pray your word
• 2:44
  boldly
• 2:46
  and
• 2:46
  faithfully.
• 2:49
Help me to have a desire to apply
• 2:51
  your word daily with intention
• 2:54
  as it shapes my prayers
• 2:56
  and strengthens
• 2:57
  my faith.
• 2:59
I speak your promises over my life today.
• 3:03
May your truth become the foundation
• 3:05
  of everything I believe
• 3:07
  and do.
• 3:09
  In Jesus' name,
• 3:10
  amen.
• 3:16
Thank you for joining me in the intercessor's
• 3:18
