Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. When most people hear the name Jeffrey Epstein,
• 0:08
Speaker 1: they think about the disgusting and sadistic things that he
• 0:12
Speaker 1: did to young women and girls. And rightfully so. That
• 0:16
Speaker 1: should always be the foremost thought. But we also have
• 0:19
Speaker 1: to understand that there was a lot more going on
• 0:22
Speaker 1: than just the abuse of those women and girls. And
• 0:26
Speaker 1: a lot of it had to do with financial malfeasance.
• 0:29
Speaker 1: And considering the scope of that malfeasance, and how many
• 0:32
Speaker 1: people were involved financially with him, it's no wonder that
• 0:35
Speaker 1: the government avoided using Rico. Because if they would have
• 0:39
Speaker 1: hit him with Rico, everybody would have been caught up.
• 0:42
Speaker 1: Everybody that ever sent the money, anybody that ever received money,
• 0:46
Speaker 1: well now they're a part of the Rico conspiracy, right?
• 0:50
Speaker 1: Knowingly or unknowingly. And under normal circumstances, that's enough for
• 0:54
Speaker 1: the government to freeze your account. I know it sounds crazy,
• 0:59
Speaker 1: but it's true. If you get caught up in some
• 1:01
Speaker 1: kind of RICO investigation, it usually lights out. Most normal
• 1:05
Speaker 1: people end up pleading, right? Even people with great lawyers
• 1:10
Speaker 1: end up pleading. Because it's almost impossible to beat RICO
• 1:14
Speaker 1: charges when they're brought by the federal government. And when
• 1:18
Speaker 1: you have somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, who was manipulating many
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: different sectors... I don't think there's ever been a situation
• 1:27
Speaker 1: that called for Rico more than the situation with Epstein.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: And as we continue to move forward and learn more,
• 1:33
Speaker 1: it's rather obvious that this man was running a gigantic
• 1:38
Speaker 1: money laundering operation. Today we have an article from Reuters
• 1:42
Speaker 1: and the headline, U.S. Senator Wyden Urges Regulators to Probe
• 1:46
Speaker 1: Wall Street Banks Over Epstein Accounts. This article was authored
• 1:50
Speaker 1: by Reuters staff. U.S. Democratic Senator Ron Wyden called for
• 1:56
Speaker 1: federal regulators to probe big banks over their handling of
• 2:00
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's accounts after surfacing what Wyden said was potential
• 2:04
Speaker 1: evidence that the banks failed to report suspicious transactions linked
• 2:08
Speaker 1: to the late convicted sex offender. 100% they did. We've
• 2:12
Speaker 1: already established this. We've had people from FinCEN tell us this.
• 2:18
Speaker 1: So this isn't some breaking news. This isn't something that
• 2:22
Speaker 1: has just shown up. But I'm glad it's getting some
• 2:24
Speaker 1: traction because if you want to get to the bottom
• 2:27
Speaker 1: of what was going on, there is a surefire way
• 2:29
Speaker 1: to get there. Follow the money. I know, sounds very
• 2:34
Speaker 1: easy and basic, right? But what that does is it
• 2:37
Speaker 1: gives you a roadmap. And we're not talking about witnesses
• 2:40
Speaker 1: who lose their memory or might change their story, right?
• 2:45
Speaker 1: The money trail is the money trail. There's no disputing it.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: It is what it is. And that's why any serious
• 2:51
Speaker 1: investigation of somebody like Jeffrey Epstein starts with the money trail.
• 2:57
Speaker 1: In a report released on Tuesday, Wyden alleged that Bank
• 3:00
Speaker 1: of America, Deutsche Bank, and JPMorgan Chase may have violated
• 3:04
Speaker 1: federal anti-money laundering laws by failing to report Epstein's suspicious
• 3:09
Speaker 1: transactions in a timely manner. Well, I'd say so. These
• 3:14
Speaker 1: rotten sons of bitches didn't send those SARS until Epstein
• 3:17
Speaker 1: was arrested. So who made that decision? Was it somebody
• 3:21
Speaker 1: in compliance? Was it Jess Daly? Was it Jamie Dimon?
• 3:25
Speaker 1: Who was it? We still don't know. And unfortunately, I
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: doubt we'll ever know. Wyden's four-year investigation included a review
• 3:35
Speaker 1: of so-called suspicious activity reports which banks filed to the
• 3:38
Speaker 1: Treasury Department, materials from lawsuits and court filings, and information
• 3:43
Speaker 1: the senator sought from Wall Street banks and the U.S. Treasury.
• 3:48
Speaker 1: And look, of course, Wyden has his own issues. His
• 3:51
Speaker 1: son was reaching out to Epstein, trying to enjoy Jeffrey
• 3:55
Speaker 1: Epstein's charity as well. So look, it's a sordid circle
• 3:59
Speaker 1: we got going on here. But does that mean that
• 4:01
Speaker 1: Senator Wyden and this investigation should be discounted? I don't
• 4:05
Speaker 1: think so. Because he's on the right trail. And I
• 4:11
Speaker 1: think that if you really want to find out who
• 4:14
Speaker 1: is responsible, at least financially speaking, Then you have to
• 4:18
Speaker 1: start here. Bank of America failed to properly screen and
• 4:22
Speaker 1: report $ 170 million in payments to Epstein, Wyden's report said,
• 4:27
Speaker 1: adding that the bank years later concluded in suspicious activity
• 4:30
Speaker 1: reports that the transactions had no verifiable business purpose. I
• 4:35
Speaker 1: dare you to try that. See how quickly you get debanked.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: They will deplatform you so quickly that it'd make your
• 4:43
Speaker 1: head spin. And God forbid you have money in your account.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: Now you got to go through a song and dance
• 4:48
Speaker 1: to get your money out. But $ 170 million in suspicious
• 4:52
Speaker 1: movements and withdrawals, deposits, etc. No big deal. And why
• 4:56
Speaker 1: is that? Well, you know why. Because they're making a
• 5:00
Speaker 1: grip of dough with a guy like Epstein. That's it.
• 5:04
Speaker 1: That's the whole story. Profit over people. We take our
• 5:09
Speaker 1: legal and regulatory obligations seriously. And as we have previously said,
• 5:13
Speaker 1: the bank did not facilitate wrongdoing. A Bank of America
• 5:17
Speaker 1: spokesperson said, No, not at all. Everything's on the up
• 5:20
Speaker 1: and up. Bank of America would never bank somebody like
• 5:23
Speaker 1: Epstein to the tune of $ 170 million and not report it, right? Right?
• 5:30
Speaker 1: Deutsche Bank failed to report on time more than $ 250
• 5:33
Speaker 1: million in suspicious wire transfers tied to Epstein, including payments
• 5:37
Speaker 1: to women in Russia and other parts of Eastern Europe,
• 5:40
Speaker 1: the report said. Well, they thought they'd get away with it.
• 5:42
Speaker 1: And that was the whole reason that Epstein started getting
• 5:44
Speaker 1: women from Eastern Europe. He thought that that was going
• 5:47
Speaker 1: to be the move. That nobody was going to be
• 5:50
Speaker 1: the wiser, right? Nobody would care. Well, Mr. Epstein, guess what?
• 5:54
Speaker 1: People care. A spokesperson to the bank said that was false.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: We began flagging suspicious transactions for the government as early
• 6:01
Speaker 1: as 2002. And throughout our relationship, even after we closed
• 6:05
Speaker 1: his accounts, she said, we acted appropriately on what we
• 6:08
Speaker 1: knew when we knew it as the law requires. I
• 6:12
Speaker 1: guess we'll have to see, right? I have my doubts.
• 6:15
Speaker 1: These banks never act appropriately, at least not when it
• 6:18
Speaker 1: concerns Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein was a JP Morgan client from
• 6:22
Speaker 1: 1998 until the bank cut him off in 2013, years
• 6:26
Speaker 1: after he pleaded guilty to prostitution-related charges. Deutsche took him
• 6:30
Speaker 1: in as a client in 2013 after JP Morgan closed
• 6:34
Speaker 1: his accounts. Well, they never met a scumbag they didn't
• 6:38
Speaker 1: like over there. I mean, how many cartel members? How many,
• 6:42
Speaker 1: you know, human traffickers or oligarchs have had accounts at
• 6:46
Speaker 1: Deutsche Bank? We have cooperated with regulatory and law enforcement
• 6:52
Speaker 1: agencies regarding their investigations and have been transparent in addressing
• 6:56
Speaker 1: deficiencies and investing in strengthening our control environment in parallel,
• 7:02
Speaker 1: a Deutsche Bank spokesperson said. Reuters couldn't verify the details
• 7:06
Speaker 1: of the report. Of course not. Don't question us. We're
• 7:10
Speaker 1: doing a full internal investigation. We're going to investigate ourselves.
• 7:16
Speaker 1: And we're going to have a timely report ready for you.
• 7:19
Speaker 1: That's the kind of bullshit we've heard time and time again.
• 7:22
Speaker 1: And every single time, it turns out the same way. Garbage. Trash. Disgusting.
• 7:29
Speaker 1: A complete whitewash. Have any of these internal investigations turned
• 7:34
Speaker 1: up anything that they should have turned up? Of course
• 7:36
Speaker 1: they haven't. An administration official said Treasury doesn't comment on investigations,
• 7:42
Speaker 1: including to confirm or deny whether one exists. Treasury has
• 7:46
Speaker 1: fully cooperated with valid requests for information from Congress, the
• 7:50
Speaker 1: official said. Yeah, I'm sure they have. I'm sure they
• 7:53
Speaker 1: haven't dragged their feet at all. Remember, Treasury's run by who?
• 7:57
Speaker 1: That's right, Donald Trump. And we all know that Donald
• 8:00
Speaker 1: Trump has no desire for transparency when it comes to Epstein.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell in August of
• 8:07
Speaker 1: 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death
• 8:12
Speaker 1: was ruled a suicide by New York City's medical examiner,
• 8:16
Speaker 1: which was disputed, by the way, by Mr. Bodden. And
• 8:21
Speaker 1: that ruling of a suicide was delayed. They had to
• 8:26
Speaker 1: go through the whole process. They didn't have any idea
• 8:29
Speaker 1: at first what had happened, right? But all of a sudden,
• 8:32
Speaker 1: they were sure, sure, that it was suicide. Again, I
• 8:36
Speaker 1: don't buy it. At least not the way they're selling it.
• 8:40
Speaker 1: If Jeffrey Epstein did commit some kind of self-harm, then
• 8:43
Speaker 1: I think he did that after a message was passed
• 8:46
Speaker 1: to him by Nicholas Tartaglione. Listen, you do it or
• 8:51
Speaker 1: we will. Look how easy it was for me to
• 8:53
Speaker 1: get in this cell with you. Then Epstein thinks, you
• 8:56
Speaker 1: know what? That's it. I'm burned. My days of being
• 8:59
Speaker 1: an asset are long over. So it's time for me
• 9:02
Speaker 1: to go. especially considering we knew what his state of
• 9:04
Speaker 1: mind was. According to other people that were around him,
• 9:07
Speaker 1: nobody said he was suicidal. All of a sudden he
• 9:10
Speaker 1: commits suicide? Okay, I guess. Wyden is one of several
• 9:15
Speaker 1: lawmakers probing Epstein's relationships on Wall Street. Lawmakers on the U.S.
• 9:20
Speaker 1: Congress House Oversight Committee also last month heard testimony from
• 9:24
Speaker 1: Goldman Sachs former top lawyer Kathy Rumler and former Barclays
• 9:28
Speaker 1: CEO Jess Daly over their dealings with Epstein. Both have
• 9:33
Speaker 1: said they were unaware of Epstein's crimes, which they're lying about. Sorry,
• 9:38
Speaker 1: I don't believe them. They knew that Jeffrey Epstein was
• 9:41
Speaker 1: a registered sex offender. That didn't stop them. They kept
• 9:44
Speaker 1: on rolling right along, right? Oh, Uncle Jeffy. Oh, Snow White. Oh,
• 9:50
Speaker 1: can I come to the island? So they can screw
• 9:52
Speaker 1: right off with the whole I had no idea shit.
• 9:55
Speaker 1: Save that for people that have no idea what they're
• 9:58
Speaker 1: talking about. So look, i think that senator wyden is
• 10:01
Speaker 1: on the right path here is he going to get
• 10:03
Speaker 1: the cooperation he needs is he going to have people
• 10:06
Speaker 1: at treasury work with him are they going to be
• 10:09
Speaker 1: willing to turn over the information that's needed well considering
• 10:12
Speaker 1: how the federal government has treated this up till now
• 10:16
Speaker 1: i'm not very confident But maybe with all the extra
• 10:18
Speaker 1: pressure and all of the newfound interest around the topic,
• 10:23
Speaker 1: they'll be forced to act this time. So we'll have
• 10:25
Speaker 1: to see what goes down as far as chasing the
• 10:27
Speaker 1: money trail, and we'll see where it all ends up.
• 10:32
Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
• 10:35
Speaker 1: found in the description box.
