- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the Bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Okay, here we go where the.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Plays get broken down and science gets denied The Bench
- 0:09Speaker 1: Our two of Off the Bench live from the Raising
- 0:12Speaker 1: Kine studio.
- 1:12Speaker 2: All right over there, Bud Top is kicking him.
- 1:15Speaker 3: That were good. You were being a real dork earlier,
- 1:20Speaker 3: but because I.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Was a little sweepy. Yeah, some of us train.
- 1:28Speaker 3: You did this morning.
- 1:30Speaker 2: On Monday.
- 1:32Speaker 4: To be fair, I was sleeping real good when I
- 1:34Speaker 4: was training for that. No, they really do be.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Alarm was real rude this morning. I was in a
- 1:46Speaker 5: nice dream in cartoons.
- 1:52Speaker 6: I don't know if it's in cartoons or buddy, you
- 1:54Speaker 6: don't dream in anything but cartoons.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It was rude too.
- 1:56Speaker 5: I just I was on full scholarship to play baseball.
- 2:00Speaker 5: I was just reporting. It's my first reporting day position
- 2:03Speaker 5: where I was getting fitted for my cleats.
- 2:08Speaker 3: My alarm went off, getting some new spikes.
- 2:12Speaker 7: Sounds like this is this sonks like an actual episode,
- 2:14Speaker 7: like you're handed the cleats cut.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Waking up like, oh, I want to get to at
- 2:23Speaker 5: least the first practice.
- 2:25Speaker 8: See how you are where you said on the depth chart?
- 2:27Speaker 3: Is it because Jay is coming on?
- 2:29Speaker 2: It might be I am I'm a stitch.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Yet I've been thinking about baseball a lot more because,
- 2:35Speaker 5: like I think my son playing and then Totte getting
- 2:40Speaker 5: into softball. Like, I've really enjoyed baseball practices, playing catch
- 2:45Speaker 5: with the kids, like four.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Are you?
- 2:47Speaker 6: Are you at the level where you're having the dad
- 2:50Speaker 6: baseball sayings?
- 2:51Speaker 2: You know?
- 2:52Speaker 3: Oh, now keep hit.
- 2:53Speaker 2: On it, Come on, Blue, I mean yeah, you're talking
- 2:59Speaker 2: about teaching all through.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but teaching from the gate, you know.
- 3:04Speaker 8: Choke up on it, choke up on it.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah, anything close Now, don't leave it up to him to.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Play, Okay, Matt, that look ask ja be like, hey,
- 3:16Speaker 7: you know, I'm getting back into baseball a little bit
- 3:18Speaker 7: more with my kids.
- 3:19Speaker 8: What do you see me as a prospect? What do
- 3:21Speaker 8: you have me in the field?
- 3:25Speaker 2: You think I still got a shot?
- 3:28Speaker 4: I had a dream last night that didn't count.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It didn't matter anymore.
- 3:31Speaker 3: It's true.
- 3:32Speaker 2: On this team, I did a dream last night. You
- 3:34Speaker 2: might have a shot. Real opportunities. All right, So back
- 3:41Speaker 2: in the batter's box one time.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Pn't that question for Jay coming up?
- 3:45Speaker 6: I'm sure it's exactly what he wants to answer before
- 3:47Speaker 6: he plays Kentucky tomorrow.
- 3:49Speaker 3: So go ahead and get that ready, not like.
- 3:50Speaker 9: Hey, you worried about all the errors that your team
- 3:53Speaker 9: does with a team like Kentucky who plays a lot
- 3:55Speaker 9: of small ball coming into town, that's your second question.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I mean, are not not quite as good? But sure,
- 4:04Speaker 2: you know we'll ask it questions.
- 4:09Speaker 5: What are some other good dad sayings I can yell
- 4:11Speaker 5: from behind the backstop during the game at my kid
- 4:15Speaker 5: while he's in the batter's box. What's really going to
- 4:19Speaker 5: hit home for him?
- 4:22Speaker 3: Pun intended.
- 4:28Speaker 2: For sure?
- 4:29Speaker 8: The small ball question, it's a terrible question, all right.
- 4:35Speaker 6: I do want to ask y'all what y'all think about
- 4:39Speaker 6: this player that I saw mocked and this was Field
- 4:41Speaker 6: Yates ESPN dot Com to the New Orleans Saints, first
- 4:44Speaker 6: time again that I have seen this player to the Saints.
- 4:48Speaker 3: It's a position of need where you currently sit.
- 4:51Speaker 6: I don't think it's your most pressing need, and that
- 4:54Speaker 6: is Ruben Bain junior edge rusher out of Miami. Now
- 4:58Speaker 6: Cam Jordan, as we know, could be out of New
- 5:01Speaker 6: Orleans for the first time ever in his career fifteen
- 5:03Speaker 6: years with the Saints.
- 5:04Speaker 3: He's still a free agent.
- 5:06Speaker 6: At ten and a half sacks last year, but we
- 5:08Speaker 6: don't really know right now, we don't know what is
- 5:11Speaker 6: going to happen. There's gonna be teams after the draft
- 5:13Speaker 6: that don't get their edge rusher. Maybe they call Cam
- 5:15Speaker 6: Jordan and so maybe he prices himself out of what
- 5:17Speaker 6: the Saints are willing to offer. Now, Ruben Bain is
- 5:21Speaker 6: somebody that has been talked about as like a top
- 5:24Speaker 6: five talent in this draft. But the old short arm conversation,
- 5:32Speaker 6: no edge rusher over the past two decades, it's a
- 5:35Speaker 6: long time. Twenty years there. Flynn has been drafted in
- 5:38Speaker 6: the first round with sub thirty one inch arms and
- 5:41Speaker 6: he is thirty and seven eighths.
- 5:45Speaker 2: That's a great stat.
- 5:48Speaker 7: I personally would really like it. I don't think he's
- 5:51Speaker 7: gonna be there at eight, but I would like it.
- 5:54Speaker 7: I think David, I mean, I think Ruby Bain's a
- 5:56Speaker 7: heck of a player.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Matthew.
- 6:10Speaker 5: The arm thing is, it's kind of one of those
- 6:14Speaker 5: things where you kind of laugh at a little bit,
- 6:17Speaker 5: kind of like hand size, but then you think about
- 6:22Speaker 5: why is it just a coincidence? Is it just something
- 6:30Speaker 5: that you got to deal with. But I don't know
- 6:33Speaker 5: if it's as quite as big a deal depending on
- 6:35Speaker 5: your day, type of game, you play as a defensive end.
- 6:38Speaker 5: It's certainly a big deal for offensive linemen if you're
- 6:41Speaker 5: playing tackle, not as much as guard or center defensive end.
- 6:48Speaker 5: I don't know how huge of a deal it really is.
- 6:52Speaker 5: A lot of people are making a big deal out
- 6:54Speaker 5: of it. So and I'm sure that scouts and defensive
- 6:57Speaker 5: coachers are going to know a little bit better than
- 6:59Speaker 5: me teaching defensive end or rush technique. But there's different
- 7:04Speaker 5: types of defensive ends, Like there are types that like
- 7:07Speaker 5: to one arm stab and pitching the chest then try
- 7:10Speaker 5: to work off that. I just don't know if that's
- 7:12Speaker 5: his style of play. I don't mean I didn't tune
- 7:16Speaker 5: in to watch him enough to know that style of play.
- 7:20Speaker 5: But the thing with that pick for the eighth pick
- 7:24Speaker 5: is if there is any question mark on anybody, you
- 7:26Speaker 5: don't take them for a top ten pick at an
- 7:31Speaker 5: eighth pick. And it's an eighth pick that we've talked about.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Is getting sexier and sexier as these pro days go.
- 7:37Speaker 5: After the combine, after a lot of these a lot
- 7:41Speaker 5: of these players that are projected in that six to ten,
- 7:45Speaker 5: eight to twelve range, as they they're all starting to
- 7:47Speaker 5: look better and better and better because they're performing really well.
- 7:52Speaker 5: That's a very valuable spot now. So if there's any
- 7:54Speaker 5: question marks, whether it's arm length, which I'm not the
- 7:58Speaker 5: expert to tell you if that is, isn't you just
- 8:02Speaker 5: don't take somebody if there's a question mark by him
- 8:04Speaker 5: at that point, it's too valuable. And I just don't like, Hey,
- 8:08Speaker 5: there's so many ends this year, right, you don't have
- 8:10Speaker 5: to reach the top ten.
- 8:11Speaker 6: He's explosive player, for sure, and he's played some inside
- 8:14Speaker 6: and outside. He's been a three, he's been a five,
- 8:16Speaker 6: been a wide nine. But that excites you. But if
- 8:19Speaker 6: you have a question market, I usually don't like these
- 8:22Speaker 6: conversations because I'm like, if you can play, you can play.
- 8:25Speaker 6: But when somebody hasn't been drafted at the position in
- 8:28Speaker 6: two decades with that arm size, that does set off
- 8:31Speaker 6: an alarm, just to kind of because as you were talking,
- 8:34Speaker 6: I started thinking about where when I struggled with a
- 8:37Speaker 6: guy with long arms, and I have no idea.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Maybe you can google what my arm length was, Matt,
- 8:42Speaker 3: because I have no idea.
- 8:43Speaker 5: I've never even heard this come out before. Oh really
- 8:46Speaker 5: really arm length? Like you do remember Will Campbell last year?
- 8:49Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, that was maybe the first time. Then now
- 8:52Speaker 2: I do.
- 8:56Speaker 6: Right, I'm gonna google mine because you didn't do your
- 8:58Speaker 6: homework there when I asked you to I have longer arms.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I had thirty You got pretty short arms. I had
- 9:04Speaker 3: thirty one.
- 9:07Speaker 6: So to give you an idea of his arm length,
- 9:10Speaker 6: I'm and I'm gonna say that because I'm gonna tell
- 9:12Speaker 6: you the guy that came to mind when you started
- 9:15Speaker 6: talking for me was Mike Vrabel when I used to
- 9:18Speaker 6: block him.
- 9:19Speaker 3: He has thirty four and a half inch arms.
- 9:23Speaker 6: So his deal with me because he knew, like he
- 9:27Speaker 6: wasn't the biggest outside backer, so if I could stone him,
- 9:30Speaker 6: then I was probably gonna have a good day because
- 9:32Speaker 6: I could hit him, then I could get my arms
- 9:34Speaker 6: in his chest plate. But he knew that he had
- 9:37Speaker 6: the length on me, so like he knew if he
- 9:41Speaker 6: could get his hands on my outside shoulder, then I was,
- 9:44Speaker 6: as we call it, swimming in it because I look
- 9:46Speaker 6: like I'm swimming trying to grab something, but I couldn't.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I mean, he's got you know.
- 9:53Speaker 6: What, three and a half inches right arm length, and
- 9:56Speaker 6: so it was a struggle for me, Like I couldn't
- 9:58Speaker 6: never grab anything because he was just like like you said,
- 10:00Speaker 6: he was just posting that outside arm out and you can't.
- 10:03Speaker 6: So that's what we're talking about. And it seems stupid.
- 10:05Speaker 6: It seems dumb. It's like, yeah, but those things are real.
- 10:09Speaker 6: And again, I have longer arms than Ruben Bain, and
- 10:12Speaker 6: I remember guys like if they had long arms, if
- 10:15Speaker 6: I didn't give the initial shock in that first punch,
- 10:18Speaker 6: then I was going to struggle.
- 10:19Speaker 2: How tall is he?
- 10:21Speaker 3: Hey, ruben Bain, let's check out the exact measurements.
- 10:26Speaker 5: He's got shorter arms than you. Definitely don't take them
- 10:32Speaker 5: six seventy, so like he has some tiny arms.
- 10:35Speaker 10: Really, Oh baby has hands, bro, I don't know everybody's makeing.
- 10:49Speaker 5: I've heard this. I've heard people talking about the arm
- 10:51Speaker 5: arm length, but six is a little shocking too. I
- 10:56Speaker 5: was a little taller than.
- 10:57Speaker 2: That, Matt.
- 11:01Speaker 6: You have thirty one inch arms as well, Bud, not
- 11:03Speaker 6: a big deal. I just looked at the combine. I
- 11:05Speaker 6: wasn't really trying during that exercise. So for you to
- 11:08Speaker 6: call my arm short and when we have the same one.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Really try it. I wasn't really trying. I didn't I
- 11:13Speaker 5: didn't flex stretch him out.
- 11:15Speaker 3: And your hand size was eight and a half.
- 11:19Speaker 6: No, no chance, that says eight and a half right
- 11:21Speaker 6: here on the NFL dot com.
- 11:22Speaker 5: These are not small hands, people. My gosh, this is
- 11:25Speaker 5: a pretty standard. I think Harlow's got eight and a
- 11:27Speaker 5: half inches.
- 11:27Speaker 2: There's a pretty standard looking hands mine too. Check that out.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yours are not standard.
- 11:35Speaker 3: These are a team issued, Bud.
- 11:37Speaker 2: You have a mild case of giants disease.
- 11:39Speaker 3: These are team issued.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I know what I'm saying. It's a smiled case. Just
- 11:45Speaker 2: to touch.
- 11:47Speaker 3: All right behind the glass. Ruben Bain Junior.
- 11:49Speaker 6: Because this guy can't get past him having thirty one
- 11:51Speaker 6: inch arms when he thought he probably had thirty three
- 11:53Speaker 6: inch arms.
- 11:54Speaker 3: We've all been there before.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Ruben bin June at eight at eight, No, I want
- 11:59Speaker 4: Mountain man.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 8: Is it like?
- 12:05Speaker 6: Is this my draft? In this my draft? Monster Lane
- 12:07Speaker 6: is still available? He goes ten.
- 12:09Speaker 7: Okay, that was my question. Is it like the pick
- 12:13Speaker 7: I would make? No, wo, I'd be mad if the
- 12:15Speaker 7: Saints made it.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:16Speaker 7: I think I think of bands a really good player,
- 12:18Speaker 7: hot and motor. I mean that dude, that dude goes
- 12:21Speaker 7: I mean he's got energy for days.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I get it.
- 12:24Speaker 7: The arm thing he'll get after you though. He's he's
- 12:27Speaker 7: a physical guy. I don't I don't really care that much.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I would.
- 12:30Speaker 8: I would take him.
- 12:31Speaker 7: Like if if they think that's their biggest need, if
- 12:33Speaker 7: they think that's a bigger need than corner, sure go ahead.
- 12:36Speaker 8: I think corner is a little bit bigger need. But
- 12:38Speaker 8: I like the player.
- 12:39Speaker 6: Well, you got a lot of money tied up in
- 12:40Speaker 6: the edge rushers, so you have Chase Young and still
- 12:43Speaker 6: Carl Granderson, Like, yeah, he's still on this team too,
- 12:47Speaker 6: So you would be throwing another asset, another's first round pick,
- 12:51Speaker 6: another large check at a first round pick.
- 12:53Speaker 8: Right, And that's that's why I don't think.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Is that just like a depth thing?
- 12:56Speaker 9: Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like, do you just want
- 12:57Speaker 9: depth at that position or something?
- 12:59Speaker 3: Like?
- 12:59Speaker 9: I think you need corner more than you need that. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 9: Like I think Chase Young is just fine.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Well, I mean if you had Cam Jordan and Chase Young,
- 13:06Speaker 6: that's twenty and a half sacks between the two of them.
- 13:09Speaker 8: Yeah, with the Granderson still there.
- 13:10Speaker 6: And then Grantson would be the third piece. And I
- 13:13Speaker 6: think if you did that, then you could select the
- 13:15Speaker 6: corner receiver if that's where you wanted to go.
- 13:19Speaker 3: You would have options. I just don't see it as
- 13:21Speaker 3: their most pressing.
- 13:22Speaker 4: No, I don't either.
- 13:23Speaker 9: Like I'm with Taylor, like I'm not gonna be super
- 13:25Speaker 9: upset if they do it, and the armlank thing doesn't
- 13:28Speaker 9: bother me because Will Campbell kind of proved that doesn't matter.
- 13:34Speaker 4: But no, I'm I'm like fully on the delayed train.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm right there with you.
- 13:39Speaker 6: I think he's just he's different than every other corner
- 13:41Speaker 6: in this draft, and you need it. I think he
- 13:44Speaker 6: would upgrade your position, room, don't.
- 13:46Speaker 8: I don't think Kolid mcintry is a CB one right now.
- 13:49Speaker 3: No, I don't either.
- 13:50Speaker 8: I think Quincy Riley has a chance to be good.
- 13:53Speaker 6: I think he's a really good NFL player, but he's not.
- 13:56Speaker 6: He's not ever going to be a number one shut
- 13:58Speaker 6: down corner.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I know that.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Again, there places for guys like day is gonna play
- 14:01Speaker 3: for a long time.
- 14:02Speaker 4: But they're looking at well.
- 14:03Speaker 9: I saw where Tyler Schuck is trying to like make
- 14:06Speaker 9: a push for them to get Bell the wide receiver
- 14:08Speaker 9: out of Louisville. Yeah, so maybe that's another thing to
- 14:11Speaker 9: look at.
- 14:11Speaker 7: But like I know, every time Nick comes on, he
- 14:15Speaker 7: says internally it sounds like the Saints want more of
- 14:19Speaker 7: a safety type at that nickel position. For me, I'm
- 14:22Speaker 7: playing kool Aid mcintry at nickel. I think he actually
- 14:24Speaker 7: fits there really well. I don't particularly like him on
- 14:26Speaker 7: the outside. And like, if you draft a Delaine, you
- 14:29Speaker 7: got three young corners, you're not paying any of them
- 14:31Speaker 7: a ton of money. You got Mansword, Delane, Quincy Riley,
- 14:34Speaker 7: and kool Aid McKinstry. I think most people would.
- 14:36Speaker 6: Tek that the same Mick draft has them at forty two,
- 14:39Speaker 6: taking Chris Johnson corner out of San Diego State, so
- 14:42Speaker 6: they realize it's in need as well.
- 14:45Speaker 5: I will say on the arm link thing, I've been
- 14:49Speaker 5: thinking about it since you brought it up. I do
- 14:52Speaker 5: think it makes a bigger difference at offensive tackle now
- 14:54Speaker 5: at defensive end or edge rusher if it's not part
- 14:57Speaker 5: of your game to use it as an asset like
- 14:59Speaker 5: arm lad you just talked about Mike Rabel. He used
- 15:02Speaker 5: that as a weapon for him, and that's what one
- 15:04Speaker 5: thing that made him really good was his arm link
- 15:07Speaker 5: at that position, though, I don't think you have to
- 15:09Speaker 5: have that to be really good. If it's not part
- 15:11Speaker 5: of your game, that's not a tool that you use.
- 15:14Speaker 5: If you use other things as a tool. As an
- 15:16Speaker 5: offensive tackle, you have to use arms, like you have
- 15:19Speaker 5: to be able to reach out and grab somebody. Yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 5: defense man, you don't necessarily have to do it. It's
- 15:24Speaker 5: a big asset if you got it. But if you
- 15:26Speaker 5: don't need that asset because you got these other tools
- 15:28Speaker 5: that overshadow that, then you don't need it. So it's
- 15:32Speaker 5: not as big a deal to me just talking it out,
- 15:35Speaker 5: thinking through it. Then it is as an offensive tackle,
- 15:40Speaker 5: but certainly an awesome tool to have.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Yeah, if you got it.
- 15:43Speaker 6: I was trying to as you were talking about, was
- 15:45Speaker 6: trying to go James Harrison, but I can't find his
- 15:48Speaker 6: because that was kind of one.
- 15:49Speaker 5: When the first when did they start measuring arm length?
- 15:52Speaker 5: I mean, I mean, I don't doubt this is a thing.
- 15:55Speaker 7: That It also probably depends on what Harrison was listed,
- 15:59Speaker 7: because I know, like was hen was edge rusher even
- 16:03Speaker 7: like a quote unquote thing back then? Was he an
- 16:05Speaker 7: outside linebackers? Jake said, at the position, So like what
- 16:08Speaker 7: position was Harrison coming out?
- 16:14Speaker 3: James Harrison was so good, very scary. God, he was good.
- 16:20Speaker 8: Like till the very end to he was really good
- 16:23Speaker 8: with Cincinnati.
- 16:24Speaker 2: It'd probably be good right now.
- 16:25Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, I'm I'm currently looking at a wood. Heywood,
- 16:30Speaker 6: are you good? He's six foot two forty two. He
- 16:36Speaker 6: wasn't six foot he's like five to eleven.
- 16:41Speaker 7: The video of him playing volleyball with the giant med
- 16:44Speaker 7: ball always to be one of my like that probably
- 16:47Speaker 7: weighs over one hundred pounds. I mean that thing was big.
- 16:52Speaker 6: All right, let us know inside the chat, how would
- 16:54Speaker 6: you feel if ruben Bain was the selection and Monsieur
- 16:59Speaker 6: Delaine was still a available in the NFL draft. We'll
- 17:03Speaker 6: take a break more OTB when we come back here
- 17:05Speaker 6: live from the Raisin Kine studio. Off the bench, all right,
- 17:10Speaker 6: good to pelicanroof dot compelicanroof dot com Pelican roofing in Lafayette,
- 17:14Speaker 6: in Baton Rouge. Boots on the ground both locations, so
- 17:20Speaker 6: they're not driving back and forth in the basin. I
- 17:22Speaker 6: always tell you that, right, they are there locally. They
- 17:24Speaker 6: are there in Lafayette, they're there in Baton Rouge. They're
- 17:26Speaker 6: there for your roof new roof inspection repair.
- 17:31Speaker 3: They're also there in the local communities.

- 18:32Speaker 1: off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 18:35Speaker 11: You don't know. They don't know.
- 18:39Speaker 10: People saying I got a drinkin problem.
- 18:44Speaker 11: That ain't no reason on the side. People saying that
- 18:50Speaker 11: I've in just because I'm living on the rocks.
- 18:58Speaker 2: He is on rog.
- 19:02Speaker 6: All right. Welcome back in otp here live from the
- 19:05Speaker 6: Raising Kanes Studio. I'm gonna try to get to some
- 19:09Speaker 6: of these comments, and I asked for the chat's input.
- 19:14Speaker 6: If you did draft Bain and monsteror de Lane was
- 19:17Speaker 6: still available, what would you think, mister bigg said, I
- 19:21Speaker 6: would look at Mickey and say, I'm not mad, I'm
- 19:23Speaker 6: just disappointed.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Okay, it feels right, let's see. Let's see.
- 19:35Speaker 6: Htown Creole says Bain performed in the interior of the
- 19:39Speaker 6: line and on the outside. I like how players perform
- 19:43Speaker 6: in the playoffs, just like the star shine in basketball
- 19:46Speaker 6: during March Madness. He did play a little bit of
- 19:50Speaker 6: three technique in the interior, certainly more of a five
- 19:52Speaker 6: than he was a three, but he did show that
- 19:54Speaker 6: he can move around and be disruptive at multiple places.
- 19:58Speaker 6: Now that was at the college level to be a
- 20:00Speaker 6: little bit louder playing a three technique at his size
- 20:03Speaker 6: in the NFL, but he did show you that he's
- 20:04Speaker 6: willing to do it, which that goes a long way
- 20:06Speaker 6: as well. You definitely take Bain slash Bailey if available.
- 20:13Speaker 6: If not, draft the best player available, saying to rebuilding
- 20:16Speaker 6: and Chuck was good, but he's not a franchise quarterback.
- 20:21Speaker 6: Bailey's not going to be there, not even not remotely
- 20:24Speaker 6: have a chance to be there. He's going to be
- 20:26Speaker 6: probably a jet at two. I would push back at
- 20:30Speaker 6: taking the best player available. I think you have pressing
- 20:36Speaker 6: needs that are really good players are going to be
- 20:38Speaker 6: available for you. And I also say, no, I'm not
- 20:41Speaker 6: going to crown somebody a franchise quarterback after a handful
- 20:44Speaker 6: of starts. But I will say he is certainly heading
- 20:47Speaker 6: towards being a franchise quarterback.
- 20:50Speaker 3: That's not just.
- 20:51Speaker 6: Us saying that, that's the league saying that when you
- 20:54Speaker 6: have conversations with him. I mean the way that Chuck
- 20:57Speaker 6: elevated all the play of those around him, with guys
- 21:01Speaker 6: that a lot of casual NFL fans wouldn't even know
- 21:04Speaker 6: that that goes a long way.
- 21:05Speaker 3: That was very impressive. And so he is certainly on
- 21:07Speaker 3: his way.
- 21:08Speaker 2: He is.
- 21:08Speaker 6: He's the guy you build around, though you absolutely build
- 21:11Speaker 6: around Tyler Schechan.
- 21:12Speaker 5: When do you actually like crown somebody a franchise guy.
- 21:15Speaker 5: You crown him with their second contract, right, yeah, and
- 21:19Speaker 5: that's not gonna happen for a couple of years, so
- 21:21Speaker 5: you certainly build around I mean, look, look, it's not
- 21:23Speaker 5: gonna be all like sunshine and rainbows with Tyler Shutt,
- 21:27Speaker 5: Like he's gonna have some bad moments next season, right,
- 21:30Speaker 5: he's gonna have some doubt, like he's still a young quarterback.
- 21:34Speaker 2: But you build around him because he has proven to.
- 21:37Speaker 5: You that the way with the way that he handles
- 21:39Speaker 5: a game when the game's on the line, he's handled
- 21:43Speaker 5: the pressure of doing that as a rookie.
- 21:46Speaker 2: He's made the throws.
- 21:47Speaker 5: He has told you physically, I can do all the
- 21:50Speaker 5: things you need me to do. So he's he's shown
- 21:52Speaker 5: you multiple times that he can do the hard things
- 21:57Speaker 5: that it takes, and so you build around him.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:00Speaker 5: You don't have to crown him with the second contract
- 22:03Speaker 5: for a couple of years.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Right. The Texans did that with c J.
- 22:08Speaker 5: Stroud after one good rookie year and they he didn't
- 22:12Speaker 5: have a good second year, and then they crowned him
- 22:15Speaker 5: a little too early. Right, So you don't have to
- 22:19Speaker 5: do that for a couple of years. So you can
- 22:20Speaker 5: sit and wait, but you certainly build around him. You
- 22:22Speaker 5: don't have to go and try to find that guy
- 22:24Speaker 5: right now, which is a luxury because it allows you
- 22:27Speaker 5: to find other guys at other positions.
- 22:36Speaker 3: When I said best player available, you said, that's not real. Explain.
- 22:40Speaker 5: I mean you never take best player. You take the
- 22:42Speaker 5: best player available at a position of need.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I think if you're the Seahawks somebody like that, that you're.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Maybe what if the best player is a quarterback like.
- 22:50Speaker 6: You, Well, I mean I think that position is kind
- 22:53Speaker 6: of off limits in that conversation.
- 22:54Speaker 2: There's going to be certain positions that are off limit.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Like it's always like Ted Thompson and Green Bay was
- 23:01Speaker 5: always known for his draft philosophy as best player available.
- 23:05Speaker 5: But that's not a real it's the best player available
- 23:09Speaker 5: at a position that you need, which is what everybody does.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Right you look most so now now you're a little
- 23:16Speaker 5: bit more open minded to I gotta have I gotta
- 23:20Speaker 5: have either a.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Running back or a corner.
- 23:22Speaker 5: You're a little bit open, more open minded than that,
- 23:25Speaker 5: but you're not like any positions on the table.
- 23:27Speaker 2: The best players is deep snappers.
- 23:31Speaker 6: If you have two rock solid tackles, you don't take
- 23:34Speaker 6: a tackle.
- 23:35Speaker 5: You don't take the fact even if he's the best
- 23:37Speaker 5: player by far and available, I say, it's not real now,
- 23:41Speaker 5: it's it's I don't hate the term best available, but
- 23:45Speaker 5: it's people got to understand it's the best available at
- 23:47Speaker 5: a position, because if it's best available, you would take
- 23:50Speaker 5: sponsor delaying it the third pick, and Jeremiah Love would go.
- 23:56Speaker 5: He's probably going, so you knew who else The Saints
- 24:04Speaker 5: need to step up, as Brian Brazy.
- 24:07Speaker 7: He had, he had lived up to the first round, Billy,
- 24:09Speaker 7: first round pick. He's been a solid rotational piece. He
- 24:12Speaker 7: was a top twenty pick. Let's not getting it done a.
- 24:16Speaker 6: Little bit later than that, but still his first round pick.
- 24:19Speaker 6: When a't he like in the late twenties.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Maybe he was the late twenties.
- 24:28Speaker 7: I mean he's playing like he's playing like you know
- 24:31Speaker 7: you drafted him second round, third round.
- 24:33Speaker 8: He's not playing like a first round pick. No, not
- 24:35Speaker 8: what you need from him.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Yeah, that's definitely a player they need to continue to
- 24:40Speaker 6: step up because then we're talking about interior pass rush.
- 24:43Speaker 3: You don't have to spend as much on the.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Outside if you have it, Like because I was talking
- 24:47Speaker 6: about the Chiefs yesterday, Well the Chiefs are all a
- 24:49Speaker 6: sudden like, man, we don't have.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Any pass rush.
- 24:51Speaker 6: It's like, yeah, because Chris Jones is getting old and
- 24:53Speaker 6: he no longer has to have a double team every
- 24:55Speaker 6: single play, So now they can free up help on
- 24:59Speaker 6: the outside. Those guys in Kansas City got big contracts
- 25:02Speaker 6: because they were getting double digit sacks because you had
- 25:05Speaker 6: to double team Chris Jones. The center and guard were
- 25:08Speaker 6: always going to be on him, so that tackle was
- 25:10Speaker 6: always on an island. Now that tackle's not on an island.
- 25:12Speaker 6: Every time like, well, they can't get to the quarterback anymore.
- 25:15Speaker 6: It's like, yeah, duh, those double.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Teams went away every single time.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:22Speaker 5: And even if you don't like a like a defensive
- 25:25Speaker 5: in or edge rusher, even if if it's not a
- 25:27Speaker 5: pure double team, it's a let's chip the running back
- 25:32Speaker 5: who gets out on his route late, or sometimes doesn't
- 25:34Speaker 5: even get out on this route right, Let's chip the
- 25:36Speaker 5: tight end so he can't, you know, create a vertical
- 25:39Speaker 5: threat as fast as he can. So there's even if
- 25:42Speaker 5: it's doesn't look like this guy's get double team, he's
- 25:45Speaker 5: creating some sort of presence that makes somebody else do
- 25:49Speaker 5: their job a little bit slower.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:51Speaker 6: Uh. And a lot of mock drafts too, you're seeing
- 25:54Speaker 6: Ty Simpson put himself into the first round, either at sixteen,
- 25:58Speaker 6: the Jets' second first round, or a lot of people
- 26:01Speaker 6: have Arizona trading back into the first round in the
- 26:05Speaker 6: twenties and selecting ty Simpson. So we could actually have
- 26:11Speaker 6: two quarterbacks go in the first round and.
- 26:17Speaker 3: A thing that it's going to do.
- 26:19Speaker 6: I think if ty Simpson goes in the first round,
- 26:22Speaker 6: it's going to almost in absolute say Garrett Nessmeyer is
- 26:26Speaker 6: going the second round.
- 26:28Speaker 8: I mean, yeah, if he's your number three guy, second round.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Imagine saying that mid season.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yep, I'll put some dollars on that.
- 26:40Speaker 6: If ty Simpson goes in the first round, Gary Nesmier
- 26:43Speaker 6: would be a second round pick.
- 26:45Speaker 8: I mean, you mentioned Arizona, you mentioned New York.
- 26:48Speaker 7: Like, if we don't know what the deal is with
- 26:51Speaker 7: Pittsburgh's quarterback situation, they're at twenty one, they could take
- 26:54Speaker 7: ty Simpson if he's there. I know Miami paid Malik Willis.
- 26:58Speaker 7: They don't know if he's the long term answer. They
- 27:00Speaker 7: can take him at thirty.
- 27:02Speaker 5: So you're saying third round worst case scenario for US,
- 27:05Speaker 5: I think, oh yeah, worst case scenario.
- 27:07Speaker 3: And from what I am hearing, I think the worst
- 27:10Speaker 3: case scenario is third round.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Right for you go crush it for fifty years if
- 27:17Speaker 2: you want to.
- 27:22Speaker 6: I mean the Steelers at fifty three. I mean they
- 27:27Speaker 6: don't They don't really know right now. I mean even
- 27:30Speaker 6: if Aaron does come back, taking us in the second
- 27:34Speaker 6: round at fifty three, I mean, you.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Have no what I mean. I would love for him
- 27:39Speaker 2: to get taken in the second round just to saint something.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Need need that Saints. I said Steelers. Okay that you
- 27:44Speaker 2: said Saints.
- 27:45Speaker 3: No, I said Steelers, Yeah, Steelers.
- 27:48Speaker 6: I'm so confused, Like, man, what raint on this guy's
- 27:51Speaker 6: parade one time? Because I mean, outside of if Ayro
- 27:56Speaker 6: doesn't come back, you have Mason Rudolph, and then you've
- 27:59Speaker 6: got to six round pick that.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I like him.
- 28:02Speaker 5: I like him to if I if I'm if, I'm like,
- 28:06Speaker 5: oh god, that's awesome. I like him to the Rams
- 28:09Speaker 5: they have sighty one. I like him to the Packers.
- 28:13Speaker 5: Packers just got rid of their backup quarterback. He has
- 28:14Speaker 5: a playing style a lot like Jordan Love and Stafford,
- 28:18Speaker 5: kind of in like a elements of each of their game.
- 28:25Speaker 5: I like him to vote those places, both young, good
- 28:27Speaker 5: offensive coaches. He can develop. I just don't want him
- 28:29Speaker 5: to go into a bad situation. So if I'm like picking,
- 28:31Speaker 5: if I'm cherring, don't go to the Raiders, the Browns. Yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 5: Like I want him to go to the Rams or
- 28:38Speaker 5: the Packers, where you're gonna get in with a good system,
- 28:41Speaker 5: with good veteran leadership, good veteran quarterbacks, good offensive minded
- 28:45Speaker 5: head coaches. You can learn how to play the game
- 28:48Speaker 5: the right way and not have to go get thrown
- 28:51Speaker 5: to the Wolves with a bad organization and having to
- 28:54Speaker 5: play with a bad team. You go to those places
- 28:56Speaker 5: you don't have to play unless some serious happens, right
- 28:59Speaker 5: that for me, those would be I mean, we've.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Talked about him going to the Rams for like three months.
- 29:04Speaker 5: I've always compared him, yeah, and I think comparisons are dangerous.
- 29:08Speaker 5: I don't like to like just his playing style and
- 29:10Speaker 5: like his I've always compared him to the way Stafford
- 29:13Speaker 5: played in college, like a little bit carefree.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Knew he had a good arm.
- 29:17Speaker 5: We had thrown into traffic every now and then in
- 29:19Speaker 5: his younger days. Got better as he got older, just
- 29:24Speaker 5: really good arm talent like that. And then I started
- 29:26Speaker 5: making the Jordan love comparisons because Jordan loved those off
- 29:28Speaker 5: his back foot a lot, and he saw you Garrett
- 29:31Speaker 5: tried to do that quite a bit, and he's done
- 29:33Speaker 5: that in the past kind of playing, kind of playing
- 29:36Speaker 5: loose like that.
- 29:36Speaker 4: So I have maybe a bit of a will Wig update.
- 29:41Speaker 9: Okay, do we want to go to break and talk
- 29:43Speaker 9: about it next or.
- 29:44Speaker 6: When we come back here on O TV Way and
- 29:49Speaker 6: ticketsoo boom.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Boom boom right here from the raising Gaines studio, off
- 29:54Speaker 3: the bench. How you're working out radio.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Boys, that's pretty good. How about you kind of hurt
- 30:04Speaker 2: hard to give you that props there?
- 30:07Speaker 3: Uh, it doesn't never hurts past me.
- 30:08Speaker 6: A ice cold dough secuies maybe even too and you
- 30:12Speaker 6: probably toss it. You probably wouldn't hand it, probably give
- 30:14Speaker 6: a little spin, grab it.
- 30:17Speaker 2: That's right.
- 30:19Speaker 3: You're gonna delete some beers after that event. Oh yeah,
- 30:22Speaker 3: coming up tomorrow.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Boy, not before, but.
- 30:27Speaker 6: Uh even after, you can delete some beers this weekend,
- 30:29Speaker 6: watch a little baseball, kick your feet up, relax, enjoy
- 30:33Speaker 6: some good weather, some good baseball. You got some NCAA
- 30:37Speaker 6: tournament as well. All that going on with a nice
- 30:39Speaker 6: ice cold dose.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Second Opening Opening Day two for Major League Baseball. Yeah,
- 30:44Speaker 5: you're going to a little party like me. You bring
- 30:47Speaker 5: a twelve pack and ask everybody else what they're drinking
- 30:49Speaker 5: that day. Just enjoy a little dose seconds. If you're
- 30:52Speaker 5: gonna do it, make sure you do responsibly. Go for dose,
- 30:54Speaker 5: drink dose seconds.
- 31:00Speaker 1: From the locker room to the airwaves. It's off the
- 31:02Speaker 1: bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 31:06Speaker 11: His eyes are cool and wrist booms of home. Most hell.
- 31:13Speaker 12: She give half of Texas, just change the way. She
- 31:20Speaker 12: knows his loves and Tulsa. She knows he's gonna go.
- 31:26Speaker 13: Feel.
- 31:27Speaker 11: It ain't no woman in flesh and blood. It's that
- 31:29Speaker 11: damn no roadie go. It's a boss of blood. It's
- 31:33Speaker 11: a dozen mud. It's a door of the sun crown.
- 31:37Speaker 3: It's wide and it's numb.
- 31:39Speaker 11: The gold in the bubblehel in the next door. Then,
- 31:43Speaker 11: and that's boat shaps, it's kemo hats.
- 31:46Speaker 4: It's burs and letting go.
- 31:48Speaker 3: It's the ropes in the rain.
- 31:49Speaker 6: All right, welcome back in ot be here live from
- 31:53Speaker 6: the Razor Canes studio.
- 31:54Speaker 3: All right, So do we want to get to your
- 31:56Speaker 3: update or do we want to get to the rodeo.
- 31:58Speaker 9: I want to get to the well Waite stuff first,
- 32:01Speaker 9: So we'll do the rodeo tickets here in a second.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Four five be ready?
- 32:08Speaker 9: Yes, So we were talking how like you know, there's
- 32:11Speaker 9: some dominoes that need to fall before Will Wade decides like, Okay,
- 32:16Speaker 9: he's gonna come here. So one of them being Heath
- 32:19Speaker 9: Schroyer from mckney. So that is being reported that it's
- 32:24Speaker 9: official that Heath Schroyer is leaving McNeice and will join
- 32:27Speaker 9: LSU as Senior Deputy a D and Executive Director of
- 32:31Speaker 9: External Relations for LSU.
- 32:35Speaker 8: Will Wade for real.
- 32:37Speaker 9: Will Wade also met with NC State officials last night,
- 32:41Speaker 9: but they didn't come to an agreement on terms for
- 32:45Speaker 9: Wade to remain.
- 32:45Speaker 4: At NC State.
- 32:46Speaker 9: So it's starting to feel a little more, you know,
- 32:50Speaker 9: things are kind of heating up. So Heath Schroyer was
- 32:52Speaker 9: the first domino that had to fall.
- 32:54Speaker 8: It's fallen on.
- 32:56Speaker 9: Three is also just straight up reporting, like NC State,
- 33:03Speaker 9: they're just straight up saying it. NC State head basketball
- 33:05Speaker 9: coach Will Wade is expected to leave for l s U.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Pete Nachos and Joe Tipton reports. So the dominoes are.
- 33:11Speaker 9: Falling and it seems all but done that Will Wade
- 33:16Speaker 9: is now going to be the head coach at LSU. Obviously,
- 33:18Speaker 9: LSU still has to announce that Matt McMahon is going
- 33:22Speaker 9: to be let go. That hasn't been announced yet, but
- 33:27Speaker 9: the he'th shoryer thing is, yeah, covers.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Dunker Special right there, So Jenn's Dunker Special he loves
- 33:45Speaker 4: all right.
- 33:46Speaker 5: I had to look at it too, because there's just one.
- 33:49Speaker 5: I've gotten fooled by this Twitter parodyccount that's like three three.
- 33:54Speaker 9: No, that's straight up on three and they're just coming
- 33:56Speaker 9: out and saying it.
- 33:59Speaker 11: Out.
- 33:59Speaker 3: I just saw the over and it made me laugh.
- 34:01Speaker 3: This report brought to you by the covert.
- 34:03Speaker 7: I hate to pile on to the guy, but like
- 34:05Speaker 7: imagine Matt McMahon seeing the report that Will Wade is
- 34:10Speaker 7: coming to Yellow Shoe and he's like, I was an assistant, right,
- 34:13Speaker 7: like assistant cook.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I don't remember talking to Will Wade about joining my staff.
- 34:17Speaker 8: He's like, hey, is he gonna be like an analyst?
- 34:20Speaker 9: I mean, i'd have to guess that behind the scenes,
- 34:22Speaker 9: there's already been a conversation had like oh, yeah, you
- 34:27Speaker 9: found out.
- 34:28Speaker 5: I think it's pretty easy conversation like hey, it is
- 34:31Speaker 5: what it is, like you get it, you get it.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Like you get it numbers on, yeah, I.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Mean, and we're paying you'll find he'll find another job.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Pay you well.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 34:44Speaker 6: Mean because this this was the the year that it
- 34:46Speaker 6: was going to swing one way or the other. Right,
- 34:48Speaker 6: they really did put some resources into the roster.
- 34:52Speaker 3: In basketball.
- 34:54Speaker 6: Now, it's not like it used to be where if
- 34:55Speaker 6: you came into a situation, like if you would have
- 34:57Speaker 6: come into a situation where your coach got five like
- 35:00Speaker 6: Will did, and you know for the reasons he did,
- 35:02Speaker 6: and you take over, they would have given you ten
- 35:05Speaker 6: years to figure it out. It's not the case anymore
- 35:09Speaker 6: because you can see teams that have no scholarship players
- 35:13Speaker 6: and then in two years they're making Sweet sixteen runs
- 35:17Speaker 6: with not the same budget but not that much more
- 35:21Speaker 6: than what LSU was using. Certainly in this year.
- 35:23Speaker 8: I mean Natos did it.
- 35:25Speaker 7: Yeah right, it's closer to the time that the way
- 35:29Speaker 7: you got hired here, But I mean Natoates has been
- 35:31Speaker 7: doing it at Alabama, and like he's the favorite right
- 35:34Speaker 7: now to land the U and see job because he's
- 35:36Speaker 7: done such a good job there.
- 35:38Speaker 9: I just like all the people that told me you
- 35:40Speaker 9: get over, Will Wade didn't.
- 35:42Speaker 4: Have to again always come back.
- 35:44Speaker 2: We have not heard it from LSU no or Will Wade.
- 35:47Speaker 3: No.
- 35:47Speaker 5: This is on three reporting it and again there's a
- 35:50Speaker 5: lot of smoke now, so there's got to be some
- 35:52Speaker 5: sort of fire happening, But it looks to be based
- 35:57Speaker 5: on credible people talking about it that we can be
- 36:01Speaker 5: cautiously optimistic about this happening.
- 36:04Speaker 8: I don't think he's going to put that out.
- 36:06Speaker 2: If they're not, they're pretty.
- 36:08Speaker 9: The hire of Heath Schroyer pretty much is the nail
- 36:11Speaker 9: in the coffin.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yeah, because I doubt he comes without.
- 36:14Speaker 3: I mean, now you have him and you have your
- 36:16Speaker 3: school president. If it's a.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Strong he is coming, I don't think Heath's coming without
- 36:22Speaker 5: Will Wade count vice versa.
- 36:23Speaker 9: Yeah, there is a old photo that is circling around
- 36:28Speaker 9: the internet right now of Will Wade at dinner in
- 36:32Speaker 9: NC State stuff at n C State and Heath Schroyer
- 36:35Speaker 9: is calling him on the phone.
- 36:36Speaker 4: This was like last year.
- 36:39Speaker 2: His face pop up on the screen.
- 36:40Speaker 4: I think it just said does crack me up?
- 36:43Speaker 11: Like?
- 36:43Speaker 4: Why is your big ass face on my phone right now?
- 36:47Speaker 2: Zoomed in?
- 36:48Speaker 6: How does like when you like add somebody's contact like
- 36:51Speaker 6: it gives you their pictures?
- 36:52Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't need that picture of that random person.
- 36:55Speaker 8: How do you even set that I don't.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Have that they do it.
- 36:58Speaker 6: So like if I sent my contact to y'all, yeah,
- 37:01Speaker 6: like it would be whatever picture.
- 37:03Speaker 7: No, Like, y'all probably have a picture of me the
- 37:05Speaker 7: picture I don't.
- 37:07Speaker 8: Pictures are like.
- 37:07Speaker 5: Most huck likes to get on my phone and change
- 37:10Speaker 5: my picture to the poop emoji.
- 37:12Speaker 2: So people that have my contact there.
- 37:15Speaker 6: I have my picture. When you call, you're fired up.
- 37:17Speaker 6: You're kind of like half squatting, yeah, and you've got
- 37:20Speaker 6: your hands and like you're like, ah, it kind of
- 37:23Speaker 6: looks like you're pooping on a football field.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Nice, yeah, he was.
- 37:27Speaker 9: Hell yeah, all right, So we'll wait Florida probably more
- 37:31Speaker 9: than likely coming to l s U.
- 37:37Speaker 3: We'll classic.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you can rip our hearts out in the next
- 37:41Speaker 2: couple of days. That's fine. We'll get excited.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Yeah, hell yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 6: All right two two five four nine to nine one
- 37:50Speaker 6: zero four five.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Matt's gonna ask you a couple of questions. Wait, you
- 37:54Speaker 4: got one. We're let me answer off.
- 37:56Speaker 3: You're gonna ask you.
- 37:57Speaker 5: So we're gonna have some questions. Now, we're all gonna
- 37:59Speaker 5: ask some questions. I just said Dave on my two
- 38:00Speaker 5: that I got, so get it right. Then then it's
- 38:04Speaker 5: kind of over.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Well, if they get it wrong, you gotta go to
- 38:06Speaker 2: another question. So everybody's got to get questions ready.
- 38:08Speaker 5: We're gonna ask you a question, and as soon as
- 38:10Speaker 5: we're done asking the question, it's not gonna be like
- 38:13Speaker 5: ready said, go, we're gonna ask you the question. One
- 38:15Speaker 5: se question is over, you're gonna your eight second starts
- 38:19Speaker 5: and we haven't decided if it's gonna be a TikTok timer.
- 38:22Speaker 5: We're gonna play a song, but you'll know it'll be
- 38:24Speaker 5: a buzzer or the song win. And if you haven't
- 38:26Speaker 5: given the complete answer, as soon like the word's got
- 38:29Speaker 5: to be out of your mouth, all right by the time.
- 38:32Speaker 2: That buzzer goes off. All right, so we don't get all.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Find my buzzer button real quick.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Okay, but we do have a caller.
- 38:38Speaker 4: We do have a call Oh we have two callers.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Okay, Matt, you're up first.
- 38:42Speaker 2: We're doing this now, going right.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Or do you want let's do one here?
- 38:48Speaker 9: So this is a or should we know we already
- 38:51Speaker 9: have callers, so let me just oh my god.
- 38:54Speaker 4: We have so many of them.
- 38:55Speaker 2: This is overwhelming me.
- 38:56Speaker 9: If you're on the line, just hold on, hold on, okay,
- 39:00Speaker 9: miss so first caller Clint. We got Clint up in here. Clint,
- 39:07Speaker 9: please do not cuss Clint.
- 39:10Speaker 2: What's up, dude?
- 39:10Speaker 14: What bro?
- 39:13Speaker 3: I'm gonna be on the timer.
- 39:14Speaker 6: So as soon as Matt asked the question, I've got
- 39:17Speaker 6: you're ready to go.
- 39:18Speaker 9: Okay, I don't have the buzzer, but I just pause
- 39:21Speaker 9: the song whenever they eight seconds.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Or okay, okay, awesome, all right, eight seconds? So are
- 39:27Speaker 5: you ready to play eight seconds of fame?
- 39:29Speaker 8: Let's do it?
- 39:30Speaker 5: Hell yeah, okay, not including LUs you're old miss, namely
- 39:37Speaker 5: three teams that Lane Kiffin has been the head coach.
- 39:39Speaker 3: For go.
- 39:41Speaker 14: Uh Florida in the national.
- 39:44Speaker 13: Uh other times out we appreciate calling it.
- 39:57Speaker 9: Well, yeah, that's the point of the game. All right,
- 40:00Speaker 9: Next caller, I don't know who this is. We're just
- 40:03Speaker 9: gonna answer it on air. What's your name, sir or ma'am?
- 40:08Speaker 5: John John John May, Good morning, Good morning, Johnny. Are
- 40:13Speaker 5: you ready to play eight seconds to fame?
- 40:16Speaker 3: We'll find out?
- 40:17Speaker 7: Okay, okay, different question, right.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Different questions. Okay.
- 40:22Speaker 5: With the addition last week of t Martin to Lane
- 40:27Speaker 5: Kiffin's staff, how many staff members in total does that
- 40:31Speaker 5: put on the football staff?
- 40:35Speaker 2: Seven?
- 40:37Speaker 3: Incorrect to good guy John.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Good guess we thank you for your call.
- 40:45Speaker 5: The reason why that was a question that was pertinent
- 40:47Speaker 5: to this because we we talked about it quite a bit.
- 40:50Speaker 4: We talked about it as the and it almost broke up.
- 40:53Speaker 2: The wolf almost broke up.
- 40:55Speaker 4: I got another caller right here, let's question.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I got I got one, all right, nobody's gonna know
