- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: See what's going on with it?
- 2:55[SPEAKER_02]: Because, you know, a lot of times other countries continents, whatever's going on.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: I like to catch a notion of it.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: See what's going on.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: See what the motion in the ocean is.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: Because whatever happened over there, sometimes trickles over here.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: And we need to be on the up and up.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: And what's going on?
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: So today we're going to take a deeper dive in and see what's going on in France.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: About a European's over there, they tripping, they burning down buildings, they setting stuff fire, and they doing a lot of stuff over there.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I wonder if this would happen over here, what would really happen in the United States if they took that same mentality over here.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: Could I remember California riots?
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: I remember when it burnt down a little bit of California.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: But that didn't pass California.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: This had reached over all over.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: It was going on in France.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to take a deeper dive into it.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: See what's cooking.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: See what's on the menu as we continue.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: to give you what you need.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: All right, guys.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: So here we go.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: Let's listen up to it.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I got one of my favorite people.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: I love to listen to.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: She's good with it.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and let's see why they angry.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: Here we go.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: Spreading across Europe.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: There is anger, discontent, and violence.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: The obvious question is why?
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: Europe is among the richest places on earth.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Just look at their per capita GDP, in the European Union, it's almost $47,000.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: Compare that to the rest of the world.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: The global per capita is around $27,000.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: So at $47,000, Europe is almost twice as rich.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: And these are all well-festates, meaning the government takes care of its people.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: They look after education, they look after health care, they look after housing, and even elderly care.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Again, look at the numbers.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Europe spends up to 27% of its GDP on social security.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: The global average is around 19%.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Europe spends 27%.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: Just pull up any happiness or economic index chances are, Europe in countries will rank pretty high.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: You know what's so crazy about that is she's telling you now that they're very independent because they take care of their business and they do what they do.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the case.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: So these are rich welfare states.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: Why then are young Europeans unhappy?
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: What are they angry about?
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: In each country you will find a different trigger, but the underlying problem is the same.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: In France, it was education reform, in Spain, it was affordable housing, in Italy and Portugal, rising inflation and housing prices in Albania, corruption.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: Different triggers, but the same underlying problems and frustration.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: There are mainly four problems here.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: Slow economic growth, rising cost of living, shifting priorities of Europe, and the anxieties of Gen Z.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: We start with a slow economic growth.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: The GDP is basically like your salary.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: If it doesn't grow, you will be stuck in life.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: Non-New purchases, no new investments, no new life experiences.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: For countries, there also means no new jobs, no new infrastructure, and no ability to spend on public welfare.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: So higher GDP growth, in fact, is necessary to push the country forward, to create jobs and for welfare.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: But Europe is struggling on that front.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: The global economy is projected to grow by 3.1% this year.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: 3.1% but Europe will only grow by 1.1%.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now do you see the disparity?
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Without high growth, governments won't have money to spend.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: of course, one option is to borrow.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: You borrow the money.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: But even on that front, you are of a struggling because most European countries are saddled with too much debt.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: Just look at France, debt makes up 115% of France's GDP.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: So before we continue, are we trying to say, because of the debt they have, they are struggling?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's what she's implementing right now.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_02]: She's implementing because it's a friend structure.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: There's no growth even though it has high yielding for growth.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_02]: So that means where's the money going?
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: investors are wary of lending to Paris.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: As a result, French government bonds are soaring.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: The yield on a 10 year bond hit 4.94% yesterday that's the highest in 24 years, in simpler terms, borrowing money is too expensive.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: So, European governments are stuck in a hard place.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have higher growth to create jobs and they cannot borrow money because
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: which brings us to the second reason, the rising cost of living.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oil prices are 85% higher than they were at the start of the year, 85%.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_02]: That is ridiculous, 85% higher than what it was at the start of the year.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: How can you live like that?
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: To be fair, that is Donald Trump's fault.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: He is the one who started the war on Iran.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: You're not to do anything about it.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: We'll cut some slag there.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: But for them, for the Europeans, the first energy shock came in 2022.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's when Europe decided to abandon Russian energy.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: Russia used to be the main supplier of gas to Europe.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: It was a close and reliable supplier.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, so they cut the life line off of Russia.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_02]: And now, they stuck out there without the proper energy resources.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: Bam, move, you shouldn't have bought Russia.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: But in a big to support your Korean, Europe cut off Russian energy.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: In the end, who did that help?
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: The war is still on, Ukraine has lost 20% of its land and European inflation continues to rise.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Prices rose by 3.8% in September that's up from 3.2% in August.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: So basically, you've got a double whammy.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: On the one hand, GDP growth is slow.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: On the other, prices continue to rise.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: which brings us to the third reason, shifting priorities.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: For decades, Europe did not invest in their security because the Americans took care of it.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: But Donald Trump has ripped up that playbook.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: He wants Europe to pull up its weights, to pull its weight.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: And the result is this.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: Europe is having to spend more on defense.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: Their plan is to mobilize 800 billion euros in four years.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's almost 900 billion US dollars.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: Why do they need so much money to make their own fighter jets, to build their air defenses, to make ships and ice breakers, and to expand the size of their army, all of this requires money.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Money in that Europe is already short of.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_05]: Mm.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: And now the final reason?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: Every generation has a point of political awakening, a point where they come of age and for Gen Z that's happening now.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: And to be fair, it's not a good time for them.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: Experts are telling them that AI will take over jobs.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Scientists are telling them that climate change will destroy the Earth.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: These kids are just trying to help and be in your home.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: Progressive reels, and every other generation is complaining about them, they're saying Gen Z is too whiny and too sensitive.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: So simply put, there is a lot of anxiety among the young, a feeling that governments are not doing enough.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: Hence, the outrage on the streets.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: And here I'm talking only about the protesters.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about the rioters and the looters.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: They are a different lot.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Every protest has malicious and evil elements.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: And this one is no different.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: Which raises the question, what is the solution?
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: The obvious fix is higher economic growth.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: But how do you achieve that?
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: You need young and energetic people to drive your economy.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'll give it an interesting figure.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: One in five Europeans is more than 65 years old, one in five.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, 85 plus is the fastest growing age group in Europe.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: Uh oh, so Europe is aging, guys.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: That's what the problem is.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_02]: Europe is aging.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Imagine that 85 plus is the fastest growing demographic to fix that there are two ways either you get young people to have more children which in this economy they are not willing to do or you bring in migrants
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: And Europe did try that.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: They tried to bring in migrants in the last decade, but integrating those migrants has been difficult.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Migration has led to animosity among people.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: The locals feel that the migrants are stealing their jobs, and that is why far right parties are surging.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: United States dealt with that.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: We still deal with that.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: We're working at a Finland and team migration parties are doing well across Europe.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's a clear indication that migration is not that popular.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: Certainly not unchecked migration.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: So we come back to the question, what is a solution?
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: And there has to be a radical change in approach.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: Europe will have to abandon the assumptions of the old.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: They will have to mobilize companies in capital.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe relax their infamous rules on technology and investment.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: They will have to find consensus on migration.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: They will have to buy energy where it is cheap.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: And they will have to diversify away from the United States.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: But before all of this,
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: They may want to stop and listen.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: Protests are a message from the people to their governments.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: If the people are saying something, the politicians must listen because at the end of the day, policies must serve people.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: Not ideas or strategic goals.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Not great power rivalries or allies.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: Policies must serve people.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: So European policies will have to serve European people.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: I love this lady's show.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: She has a great show guys.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: She's the Indian, the Pakistani and she's awesome.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: They have great great stuff.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: I love to hear what an intake is on stuff.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why I had to give you guys that.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna put another piece up right now with her, talking about it.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: And her input, they do great research, solid, you know, they're not there for taking advantage of any advantages of the situation.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: It is there to deliver information.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: And I love having resources on demand like that to give you information.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_02]: We're 14 minutes in and we want to thank you guys again for tuning in with us.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: Please go back to YouTube, humanity on plug podcasts, and look at the video of this.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: We encourage you guys to please do that.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_02]: Take a minute while you at home, let the video play as you see.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: All my stuff, a lot of my information.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: We don't have cross words.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: We're not swearing.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Sometime I get a little hot.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: because it's terrible, but for the most part, we give out nothing, but pure good information for you and your family to have.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_02]: Let's listen up to the next thing she's talking about, which is this again, of course.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: And she's trying to give you another perspective on it, okay.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_02]: Let's make sure I got the right one here.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got the right one.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: a fury and rise.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's what happened in France over the weekend.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Vehicles were burnt, government offices were destroyed and shops were looked at.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: It was France's worst unrest in decades, but what led to it?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: Friends, students have been protesting for a while now, they're demanding more teachers and better funding.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: On Saturday they were joined by others, like trade unions and yellow vests.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: The yellow vests are a grassroots movement.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: They emerge in 2018 against President Macron's tax hikes.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: Some 500,000 protesters hit the streets, they turned up in Paris, in Strasbourg, in Nont, and in Lyon.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: On the other side, with 60,000 police officers, all decked up in full ride here.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: At first, the police were able to push back.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: They used tear gas and buttons to contain the protesters.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: Take a look at this.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: As a day progress to all hell broke rules, there were 15 people and protestors on the ground.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: All hell broke rice.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: As also joined in, it soon became a frenzy.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: We look at the scenes from Paris first, several vehicles were torched by the protesters, one of them was an ambulance.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's not good when first responders are getting hurt, never good.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's never good when first responders are getting hurt, but these are the things you go through as being a first responder, you know, it's it's sad, but this is what it is.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: The yellow vests also made their presence felt, they vandalized a monument in plus the La Repugliek.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: This is an iconic public square in Paris, protestors, raped the statue at the center with a yellow vest.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, they all top of the statue, guys, on the mainly put a big...
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they put a big caution vest on the statue.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: They are wild and they are wild and out there, you know?
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not laughing at this.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying the creativity of the European is how they got all the way on the statue.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's like they went to the statue of Liberty in New York and gave her a caution vest, a yellow reflective vest.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: How do you get up there to do that, man?
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: You're a wallet!
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: Looting started.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, Mark T. Young men hit the streets.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: They damaged all looted at least 1,500 stores across France.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: These included Apple, MS and Louis Vuitton.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: The looter shattered windows.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: They stole goods worth thousands of dollars and then they fled.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: Koreans, Americans, Blacks, Whites, everybody's out here alone.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's not one nationality, everybody's out here.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: I see a more.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: They out here, they're on camera and looking crazy.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: They're looking crazy.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: As night fell, the story took an even more dangerous turn.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: The rioters began targeting government buildings and two of them stand out.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: First is the tourist office of this inner city of Lyon.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: It was set ablaze by the rioters.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: And so when you get to the point where you have to reculate, you don't have to intervene, and there are a few seconds left, and there are a lot of charges.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: The other attack was in Limors.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: This is a satinia central front.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_02]: On a date, they put his whole date castle look like on fire.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: The building was on the button.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: The button was on the button.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: 140 years old.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: Two world wars and it took a bunch of...
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: It was a burning true.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: Your Europeans and they said it on fire is burning out crazy.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: Town hall and now it's all!
- 20:04[SPEAKER_05]: Oh!
- 20:04[SPEAKER_05]: They did it, dirty!
- 20:06[SPEAKER_05]: This is dirty!
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: This is dirty.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: This is not good.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: Only the West Wing survived.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: The rest of the building has been destroyed.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's 140 years of history.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: Gone.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: And that is how Saturday ended across France, with violence, clashes, and rioting.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: Compared to that Sunday, Wisconsin, in the morning authority started a cleaning operation that's when the extent of the damage became clear.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: Streets littered with debris, vehicles charged, monuments vandalized and shops looted.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: Some of the big cities looked like a war zone.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what happened, guys.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_02]: My screen just went out.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm all alone, I'm trying to get it back.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_02]: All right, I got it back.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know what happened, man.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_02]: This is crazy.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry guys.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what happened, but we're back later on Sunday more violence broke out.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: This was largely centered around Paris, protesters lit fires near the Plastula hit public, but this time the turnout was less.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: Around 200,000 compared to Saturday's half a million so the police pushed back hard.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, they really running out here, y'all.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they really were running around.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: I can like this was a GTA.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: For real, this took like GTA.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: How did you get protests or not new to the French?
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: Neither are violent protests.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: This is a country founded on public up people.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_01]: It is no stranger to civil unrest or bloody riots.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: And he saw evidence of that over the weekend.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like this one couple who were sipping drinks amid the violence.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is crazy.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: They said he's smoking a cigarette, they drinking.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: Meanwhile, she's suffering fire.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: They don't even care.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: They're walking right around.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: People walking right around on what he's sitting in.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: They don't know how real dangerous this is sitting there like that.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: New York data got hit.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: On this man also in Paris, he was playing bagfipes while surrounded by rioters.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, what an image.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: Trying to bring peace back.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: I understand why he's playing.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: But how exactly did all of this happen?
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: Where did things go wrong?
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: France's interior minister has taken responsibility.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: He says the police lost control of the situation.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: He also offered his resignation to President Emmanuel Macron, but Macron has rejected it.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: For the president, this is a tricky situation.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: France is going to polls next year.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: They will be electing a new president in April, 2027.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: So Macron is on the final leg of his term.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: His many experts say that this is one reason for the violence.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: because protestors feel that there is a power vacuum in France.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: They know that a 10 year rule is coming to an end, so they are capitalizing on the church.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: But here.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_05]: I...
- 24:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm telling you guys, it's something going on, man.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: They are really on fire out there in France.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: They got some real smoke they want to talk about.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: She's saying that it's really about the president.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: They want them out.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yesterday Macron pushed back.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: He promised to make the rioters pay for the damages.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: He also accused them of trying to topple the French Republic.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, some of the dissetable shops were looted.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_04]: Public buildings.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_04]: Providers to rent.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_04]: Town halls were a town hall.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_04]: And some were destroyed.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_04]: And you were macaroni.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_04]: Several hundred police officers and John Darmes were injured.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_04]: Watching these images, we all asked ourselves, what are they thinking?
- 24:54[SPEAKER_04]: How can French people do this to France?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_04]: Those who destroyed property must pay.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_04]: Those who looted must reimburse the damage.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_04]: Those who sought to bring down the Republic will be held accountable.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: So Macron has promised accountability.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's not sticking around though.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: Today he kicked off a fable tour to the Gulf.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: The French president wasn't Kuwait and the UA today.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: He will also be visiting Bahrain and Qatar.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: Meanwhile, back in France, his government is in crisis.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_01]: The cross-prime minister is Sebastian Lekornin.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's blaming ultra-left radicals for the weak and violence.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: He has also asked some cities to impose partial curfews.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: This would limit the people's ability to protest, but the idea is to prevent more looting.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: And for the opposition, this is really tricky.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: Especially the right wing national rally.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: They are led by Marine Le Pen.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, again, I want you guys to go to the YouTube channel, who many unplug podcasts.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's on YouTube, and please look at the video footage.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: Please support the video footage, guys.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_02]: Pa'kala, Chamari, Chamal, she's doing a great job.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm getting on information from her.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: Her show is great.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: They do great work.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: Let's continue.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: She's widely expected to win next year's presidential election.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: And for her, this is a pickle.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: On the one hand, she wants to capitalize on the public anger.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: On the other, she wants to support law and order.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's a dilemma that we saw yesterday.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_03]: As each of you knows, violence is not an opinion.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_03]: Destruction is not a form of expression.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: And Kiyah cannot serve as a solution for an answer.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_03]: In six months, the French people will be able to choose a difference.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_03]: That of authority and renewed security.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_03]: That of sovereignty and a respected democracy.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_03]: this is what I propose to you.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_03]: Make no mistake.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_03]: For France, it will be a path of hope, a path of rebirth.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: So what happens next?
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: There are three things to watch out for.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_01]: First is the crackdown.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: More than 2,000 people have been arrested so far, around 80% of them will face criminal cases.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: Second is the rebuilding effort.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: Major cities look like a war zone right now.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: Iconic stores have been looted and destroyed.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: President Macron has promised help to rebuild these businesses, but what health and when is the question?
- 27:26[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder why it didn't put acts for help from America, national guards or whatever not that we need to go over there, but where is it here's military?
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: All I see is PD, I see police, but where's the military over there?
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: Do they have their own independent military that should be coming in here trying to put some structure together?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: Finally, third and most important, will there be more protests or not?
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't seen riots or large-scale violence today, but protesters did block the roads leading to the Louvre.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's the most visited museum in the world and it's in Paris.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: So protesters blocked roads to this museum today, plus the yellow vests have called for another protest next Saturday.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: chances are the police will be more prepared this time, so rest assured this revolt is not over.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: What happens next depends on the government's response.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: If they crack down too hard, they will alienate more people.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: If they do not do enough, lawlessness will spread.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's a tough final act for President Emmanuel Macron.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_02]: we heard it.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: We got it.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: We received it.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: What do you guys think?
- 28:44[SPEAKER_02]: What do you guys think about this?
- 28:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, do you think there's a way for the people of France to come to some type of resolution?
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: Without this chaos?
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, when you look at it, it's a lot of chaos.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot of stuff going on.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: And they want to see things change, but the way they demographic is just set up.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's not good.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder how Macaron is going to come in there and try to fix it.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of damage, a lot of people got arrested, more people will get arrested, more violence will come before it comes down.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: So we just got to take a look at it and stay tuned to see what will happen.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: Again, we like to thank you guys for your support on the channel.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: We also like to invite you to go to the YouTube page.
