- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, my loves.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I'm so excited because we have my bff Jenna Willis
- 0:11Speaker 2: on the Boner today. I know my brother's there, but
- 0:20Speaker 2: if we're not getting any we might as well to talk.
- 0:22Speaker 1: About it, you know what.
- 0:23Speaker 2: I support the cause I know so a lot of
- 0:26Speaker 2: people wrote in. I talked about this on the regular
- 0:29Speaker 2: episode which you guys can listen to that just dropped
- 0:33Speaker 2: on Wednesday last week regular Old episode where we got
- 0:36Speaker 2: to know a little bit more about you. But I
- 0:38Speaker 2: told you my the responses when I do a Q
- 0:41Speaker 2: and A with you, they blow up every time, and
- 0:44Speaker 2: sometimes I think I'm like, I've had her on like
- 0:46Speaker 2: two or three other times, like we probably every time
- 0:49Speaker 2: it is flooded.
- 0:50Speaker 3: It makes me so so happy that people want to
- 0:52Speaker 3: prioritize their health my dating life.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Well, we got more responses than like the Q and
- 1:01Speaker 2: A when I asked about Jacks.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Or Schwartze Stop. It's because so happy.
- 1:06Speaker 2: It's because people really they want to know what to do.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Yeah. I also think there's just so much bs out
- 1:13Speaker 3: there and I and I totally do not fall into that.
- 1:18Speaker 3: And hopefully that's part of the reason why you know
- 1:21Speaker 3: that people are like, oh, I know, I feel.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Like you're you're authentic, and that's why you get flooded
- 1:27Speaker 4: with questions because of it's a real yes, yes.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Looking about that, Like trends.
- 1:34Speaker 2: What are the top trends that are happening in twenty
- 1:37Speaker 2: twenty five in fitness? And one of them that really
- 1:39Speaker 2: stuck out to me because you got my mom some.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Of these uh huh.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Instead of working out, people are buying like a fitbit
- 1:49Speaker 2: or an Apple Watch and then attaching like ankle.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Weights and wrist weights, and they.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Consider that to kind of be their workout and they
- 1:59Speaker 2: make sure on their Apple Watch or whatever device, yeah, that.
- 2:02Speaker 1: They're hitting ten thousand steps a day.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Is this something that if you were to do five
- 2:08Speaker 2: days a week, Let's say you go to your job
- 2:10Speaker 2: and you do that, Yeah, that you would notice your
- 2:13Speaker 2: body change.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Let me add one thing, sure, would you have to
- 2:17Speaker 4: have a diet that would to see change?
- 2:20Speaker 3: All great questions. So it obviously depends on where you're
- 2:25Speaker 3: at in your fitness journey. It also depends on your
- 2:29Speaker 3: age and your activity level prior to doing something like this.
- 2:32Speaker 3: And yeah, your diet. Now, if someone's putting in ten
- 2:36Speaker 3: thousand steps a day, I'll never knock it because it's great.
- 2:40Speaker 3: What I will say is women, which is my specialty.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Sorry Euston, you're good, But I do have a niche,
- 2:46Speaker 3: which is that women over the age of thirty start
- 2:50Speaker 3: to lose two to three percent of their muscle mass.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Oh god, right, and that continues to cumulate over time.
- 2:57Speaker 3: So just walking is going to do that, okay, And
- 3:02Speaker 3: there's two ways to maintain that, right, is eating enough
- 3:06Speaker 3: protein and strength training.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Men don't have that issue like women do. And it's
- 3:14Speaker 3: something that's real that we have to fight. That's why
- 3:16Speaker 3: osteoporosis is so prominent and women, as we get older,
- 3:20Speaker 3: we are fighting it, right. Yeah, So I think it's
- 3:24Speaker 3: I think it's amazing. I think it's great. Adding weights wonderful.
- 3:27Speaker 3: My mom is the cutest human human in the world
- 3:29Speaker 3: and doesn't go anywhere without putting on her ankle weights.
- 3:31Speaker 3: It's become a running joke. And they're not like the
- 3:34Speaker 3: cute new ones that everyone like that.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Yeah, they're literally like nineteen eighty steal like we went
- 3:44Speaker 3: we went to the hospital when we were back in
- 3:47Speaker 3: Jersey and she wore them and the security kept going
- 3:52Speaker 3: off and no one could figure out why. And I
- 3:54Speaker 3: was like, Mom, you're a double.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Ankle monitor arm.
- 3:58Speaker 3: She's supposed to leave the she wears them on the airplane.
- 4:05Speaker 3: It does. It add a little bit of strength, of course,
- 4:07Speaker 3: right right, it does for sure. And if you're putting
- 4:09Speaker 3: them on your wrists and you're curling and overhead pressing
- 4:12Speaker 3: while you're getting those steps, like, all kudos to you,
- 4:16Speaker 3: But I really believe proper strength training is what.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You need to make strength weight some weight involved. Wait,
- 4:24Speaker 1: like what we do?
- 4:24Speaker 5: Yeah exactly.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I posted a video just kind of our routine which
- 4:31Speaker 2: it it changes each day such.
- 4:32Speaker 5: A full body, some days are leg upper body.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Depends on how many sessions we get in a week.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Correct, That's how.
- 4:38Speaker 3: We change the workout plan, which is so important.
- 4:40Speaker 2: By the way, I really wish that we could lock
- 4:45Speaker 2: in a four day a week schedule. And I don't
- 4:49Speaker 2: know why I'm finding it so hard to do that,
- 4:53Speaker 2: but that is going to be my goal. I love
- 4:57Speaker 2: that come next month. I would love even and if
- 5:00Speaker 2: it means that I have to wake my ass up
- 5:03Speaker 2: at earlier that I would like to.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Like work out at seven to eight and then you
- 5:07Speaker 4: can take obo mm hmmmmm hmm.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to have to happen.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Tasha one eighty seven wants to know pre natal workouts
- 5:15Speaker 2: for plus size pregnant mamas. I'm fourteen weeks and two
- 5:18Speaker 2: hundred and twenty eight pounds.
- 5:20Speaker 3: How oh I love that first of all, Tasha. Right, yes, Tasha,
- 5:26Speaker 3: I want to give you credit for wanting to start
- 5:29Speaker 3: exercising now, because I know it's not easy and it
- 5:32Speaker 3: probably feels harder than ever. Right now, Uh, start simple,
- 5:37Speaker 3: don't get overwhelmed. Keep it to basic movements, so as
- 5:42Speaker 3: easy as grab a side of resistance bands and some dumbels.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I'm literally going to give you a workout right now, girl.
- 5:47Speaker 3: We can start off with some lateral bandwalks. Right, we
- 5:50Speaker 3: do this a lot for our warm up band right
- 5:52Speaker 3: around those ankles, feet facing forwards, side stepping yeah, standing totally.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Straight up yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Slight bend in your knees though, Oh you want to
- 5:59Speaker 3: do a slipped I make you do a slip bend.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Well.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Sometimes sometimes you lock themround when she isn't looking on.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Some bird dogs wonderful on all fours pregnancy. These are
- 6:18Speaker 3: all by the way, pregnancy, say dogs on all fours.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I probably don't. You're good, give me a way Okay,
- 6:29Speaker 1: what is that?
- 6:31Speaker 3: No cleeping here, I'll let you know. If you don't
- 6:41Speaker 3: feel stable, start with just legs. Drive that one heel
- 6:43Speaker 3: back all the way to the wall behind you, driving
- 6:45Speaker 3: through your heel, and you can opposite arm as well.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, you're standing opposite arm, opposite leg alternating.
- 6:53Speaker 3: You can do some good old fashion. If you're afraid
- 6:55Speaker 3: to do regular squats, which I totally get, start with
- 6:57Speaker 3: squat to squat to chair, so art seated on the chair,
- 7:01Speaker 3: stand up and then sit back down into the chair
- 7:03Speaker 3: to give yourself the extra support.
- 7:05Speaker 1: With that.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I want to say, keep your weight in your heels
- 7:10Speaker 2: because if you don't, you'll notice pressure in your knees.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And if you're feeling pressure in your knees, it's because
- 7:15Speaker 2: you need to drop that weight into your heels and
- 7:18Speaker 2: then you'll fill it in your booty.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Just say.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god, I can't remember the news.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Of the workouts for the life of ye.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I'm going to give you like three more exercises so
- 7:30Speaker 3: you have a full body workout girl. Okay, and anyone
- 7:33Speaker 3: else who wants a pregnancy safe at workout do this
- 7:35Speaker 3: routine because it's really straightforward. It's really simple. Another one
- 7:39Speaker 3: is banded wallwalks into wall push ups. So take a
- 7:43Speaker 3: resistance band around your wrists, lean into a wall. You
- 7:47Speaker 3: can do a walk up a walk down that's going
- 7:49Speaker 3: to target your triceps and your lats. Okay, that under
- 7:51Speaker 3: armpit area that we all love to work right, and
- 7:53Speaker 3: then go into a push up into the wall and
- 7:55Speaker 3: push away love. And then you can go with some
- 7:59Speaker 3: simple bicep curls to an overhead press stabilizing and finish
- 8:03Speaker 3: off with either a seated banded row so you could
- 8:06Speaker 3: take a long band, put it around those feet and pull,
- 8:09Speaker 3: or you can literally lock and load into a door
- 8:12Speaker 3: and do some banded polls right there standing. Full body workout, girl,
- 8:16Speaker 3: I got.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You full body workout at home? Yeah, at home?
- 8:19Speaker 3: Ten or twelve reps, three rounds. If you're feeling like
- 8:21Speaker 3: you got the energy.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Mace, thank you, Jenna Willis, Mace under Hunter. Six thoughts
- 8:29Speaker 2: on fascia blasting tools.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I think they're great. Crazy you guys ready for this?
- 8:34Speaker 3: What do you think of cupping?
- 8:36Speaker 2: So? I have a masseuse who does cupping in a
- 8:40Speaker 2: different kind of way. I'm not getting sure that it's
- 8:42Speaker 2: cupping where she takes the cup from the top, like
- 8:46Speaker 2: is this your tracing and the traces and polls where
- 8:50Speaker 2: it's there is.
- 8:52Speaker 3: No scientific evidence that actually backs cupping, but I just
- 8:56Speaker 3: like none because it feels good. I get that. I
- 8:59Speaker 3: don't know it's this whole thing that it does all
- 9:02Speaker 3: this for your muscles. There is zero scientific backing on it. However,
- 9:07Speaker 3: I think foam rolling is incredible. Dynamic warm ups absolutely amazing,
- 9:11Speaker 3: literally taking a lacrosse ball, putting it into literally your chest,
- 9:15Speaker 3: leaning against a wall, massages, all of that are incredible
- 9:20Speaker 3: because what fascia is literally connective tissue, and it either
- 9:23Speaker 3: gets tight or sticky sticky, icky icky. Okay, so the
- 9:27Speaker 3: whole idea is to alleviate that, and I any tool
- 9:30Speaker 3: that helps alleviate it also can temporarily help with cellulate
- 9:35Speaker 3: oh uh huh, but doesn't permanently do it. Let's not
- 9:37Speaker 3: get ahead of ourselves here. Okay. So there's lots of
- 9:40Speaker 3: benefits for fashion blasting. I think it's incredible, but I
- 9:43Speaker 3: think the cheapest and easiest one is foam rolling.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Foam rolling you can literally get one at.
- 9:48Speaker 5: TJ Max for like twelve dollars.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I know this because that's where I got mine. Stark
- 9:54Speaker 2: Underscore Girls zero one best workouts to target your pelvic
- 9:58Speaker 2: and strengthen it.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Need to keep her grip tight.
- 10:02Speaker 3: We don't want any liqu lique. You want to take
- 10:11Speaker 3: this one?
- 10:12Speaker 1: I know?
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so okay, so there's I mean, honestly, the most
- 10:19Speaker 3: simple thing you could do is through your day, three
- 10:21Speaker 3: to five times a day, squeeze it. Squeeze right and
- 10:24Speaker 3: imagine almost like sucking up a straw. I'm doing it
- 10:27Speaker 3: right now, can you tell? Yeah, actually use a straw.
- 10:30Speaker 3: But I'm saying like that tomorrow morning I lost it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Okay? And then how so three to five times a day,
- 10:40Speaker 1: how many.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Hould it for five seconds? Ten reps? That is the
- 10:43Speaker 3: most simple. Now, if you want to get a little
- 10:45Speaker 3: more complex with it, you can, of course, you can
- 10:48Speaker 3: do a simple workout from literally squats, but focusing on
- 10:53Speaker 3: pulling up right as you're standing up, connecting with your breath.
- 10:56Speaker 3: So squats are very simple, very straightforward. Glute bridges is
- 11:01Speaker 3: a great one.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Are the glute bridges where you lay on your back
- 11:04Speaker 2: and lift your butt up yep, with your legs at
- 11:07Speaker 2: the ninety degree yep, exactly.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Heel taps are a great one. We do these a lot,
- 11:12Speaker 3: especially all through your pregnancy on our back right, and
- 11:16Speaker 3: feet at ninety degrees and tapping one heel at a time.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Oh, I love the yep.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Those are incredible. Those are so good and honestly pelvic tilts,
- 11:26Speaker 3: so standing feet shoulder with a part driving your hips
- 11:29Speaker 3: back and as you drive your hips back, imagine that
- 11:31Speaker 3: straw and then bringing it forwards. Okay, those are all
- 11:35Speaker 3: great to work that area.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I fla mace underscore. Hunter also wants to know drinking.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I don't know if it's Celtic or Celtic, the Boston Celtic.
- 11:47Speaker 3: It's Celtic, Bossy Celtics.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah, the Celtic, Celtic Sea salt water in the morning, yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 2: your name.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Okay, So let's get real with this, right, what are benefits?
- 11:57Speaker 3: What it's mineral water, sea salt, so there's there are
- 12:01Speaker 3: traces and minerals of course, right, So there's magnesium, there's potassium,
- 12:04Speaker 3: there's calcium in it, and there's sodium. Electrolytes, right, so
- 12:08Speaker 3: there are some benefits, right, because we do want to
- 12:10Speaker 3: have electrolytes in our system because they can help hydrate
- 12:13Speaker 3: us if we raise our stomach acid a little bit, right,
- 12:16Speaker 3: it can also help with digestion. Does it need to
- 12:19Speaker 3: be Celtic and spend extra money on it? No, Girl'll
- 12:21Speaker 3: take a few Like, take a little bit of sea salt.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Throw it in your water. That's my honest answer.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I like it.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I like everybody has some sea salt, right, throw it
- 12:31Speaker 3: in your water. But you can also overdo it, so
- 12:33Speaker 3: be careful if you want to keep that balance. Yeah,
- 12:36Speaker 3: just like a little pinch and that's just in day. Yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 3: if you're hydrated, you could throw a little, you know
- 12:42Speaker 3: as salt, a little salt in there.
- 12:45Speaker 4: I thought salt dehydrate you.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I know. It's kind of confusing, isn't it. So you
- 12:49Speaker 3: want to have about I think it's like twenty three
- 12:51Speaker 3: hundred milligrams of sodium a day. Right, that's like the
- 12:54Speaker 3: copridge you might be especially with all the fast food
- 12:57Speaker 3: you eat.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Oh Lord, have mercy. Let's not even go there.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yes, pay underscore post underscore notes where to start with
- 13:07Speaker 2: workouts four months postpartum? Could she do the same type
- 13:11Speaker 2: of workouts start with the girls fourteen weeks?
- 13:15Speaker 3: Yeah. So the only thing that I'll say with you know,
- 13:18Speaker 3: something like that obviously be cleared by a doctor. The
- 13:21Speaker 3: most important thing is to be able to activate your
- 13:26Speaker 3: core while doing exercises and still being able to breathe.
- 13:30Speaker 3: That is the most important thing that you want to
- 13:33Speaker 3: be reminded of when doing any exercise postpartum because of
- 13:36Speaker 3: you know, ab separation and all of that. The two
- 13:39Speaker 3: finger rule being sure that your your core is engaged
- 13:42Speaker 3: with all movements. Start with less aggressive moves and then
- 13:46Speaker 3: you can move into more like jumping right, Like, think
- 13:48Speaker 3: about a move like jumping with your feet together safer
- 13:51Speaker 3: than going into a wide jump. So kind of test
- 13:54Speaker 3: your limit and make sure there's no leaking or any
- 13:56Speaker 3: sort of pain that you're going through, and then you
- 13:59Speaker 3: can progress from there.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Honestly, I think the easiest thing to do if you're
- 14:04Speaker 2: just starting. You guys are gonna think I'm crazy getting
- 14:08Speaker 2: a shake way and getting band.
- 14:10Speaker 1: The shake way is so freaking.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Easy to use, so bomb then you have a band
- 14:17Speaker 2: that you can literally lay on your back but like
- 14:19Speaker 2: till the yes you know, and you could be watching
- 14:22Speaker 2: TV instead of watching TV and scrolling on TikTok, lay
- 14:26Speaker 2: your ass on the ground and like use the bands
- 14:30Speaker 2: to start working out your ass.
- 14:31Speaker 5: I also love bicycles to start.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Yeah, well, bicycles are more aggressive really, so start with
- 14:38Speaker 3: the heel taps first, because we weren't do it. Remember
- 14:40Speaker 3: we weren't doing bicycles.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I love them so much because I.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Know you get there and I'm like, ah, by the way,
- 14:46Speaker 3: now you can, right, So start with either dead bugs
- 14:49Speaker 3: or some heel taps, which we talked about dead l again.
- 14:52Speaker 3: That's remember when you have to use your brain opposite
- 14:54Speaker 3: opposite armor. Everyone always starts like this and they take
- 14:56Speaker 3: a second, they're like, hold on, what am I doing?
- 14:58Speaker 3: Like you're like and the you have to do.
- 14:59Speaker 4: All and then you right on.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah exactly.
- 15:05Speaker 3: So yeah, if that's also talking about a mental.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Like that, but also balancing. I can't balance sitting down
- 15:14Speaker 2: or standing up for.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Real, It's so hard.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Got a bit of vertigo.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Maybe Kelbums wants to know what are her secrets for
- 15:23Speaker 2: getting the proper amount of protein?
- 15:26Speaker 3: Can I say one more thing to go back on
- 15:28Speaker 3: like the sea salt?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah, totally.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I don't know what claims it's making, is my honest answer.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I'm not an expert in that. I just what I
- 15:35Speaker 3: will say is like, it's it's not going to add
- 15:38Speaker 3: years to your life, Like there's no scientific backing right
- 15:41Speaker 3: that you're going to live longer, that you're gonna fight disease,
- 15:44Speaker 3: or right that it's going to boost your metabolism. I
- 15:47Speaker 3: just want to clear that because that will drive me
- 15:50Speaker 3: crazy if I didn't. Okay, sorry, Okay, that's fine, keep going.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I had to just share that. What are your secrets
- 15:55Speaker 3: for getting the proper amount of protein?
- 15:57Speaker 1: I want wants to know?
- 16:00Speaker 3: I love this. Wait who asked?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Her? Name's kel Bim, kel BIMs.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Let's get you leaned and toned, babaite. Okay, So we
- 16:09Speaker 3: want to focus on about a grammar protein per pound
- 16:12Speaker 3: we weigh if we want to maintain right, which is
- 16:15Speaker 3: kind of what I work on. I don't. I don't
- 16:17Speaker 3: focus on bulking as much Easton. But although you're not
- 16:19Speaker 3: trying to bulk right, I mean honestly now working out, But.
- 16:25Speaker 4: I need to get into the gym with you guys,
- 16:27Speaker 4: and I am holding firm a right to this, and
- 16:31Speaker 4: I want to put on more weight as I'm doing it.
- 16:36Speaker 1: So what I do like.
- 16:38Speaker 3: You would do more? So like two, you could go
- 16:40Speaker 3: one point five to start, okay, because it might feel
- 16:43Speaker 3: overwhelming to you at first, So you know this is
- 16:46Speaker 3: the reality. Five ounces of chicken breast? How much protein
- 16:49Speaker 3: you think that has? Just take a guess?
- 16:50Speaker 4: Five pounds of.
- 16:51Speaker 3: No, five ounces?
- 16:52Speaker 2: Oh?
- 16:53Speaker 3: How much do you think? How much protein?
- 16:55Speaker 1: Five ounces in a chicken breast? What would do you do?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Maybe like gauged by grams?
- 17:00Speaker 4: Eight grams of protein?
- 17:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Right?
- 17:03Speaker 3: Okay? Five you guys ready for this? What about forty
- 17:06Speaker 3: grams of protein?
- 17:07Speaker 4: Shit?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Fuck?
- 17:08Speaker 3: Sorry about a pound per sorry, I'm sorry? Gram a
- 17:14Speaker 3: gramper pound you weigh?
- 17:16Speaker 1: A gramper pound you weigh?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Okay?
- 17:18Speaker 1: What about for people who don't want to eat meat?
- 17:21Speaker 3: What's your It does get a little bit harder, that's great,
- 17:24Speaker 3: So hold on, let meat let me Yeah. So for
- 17:26Speaker 3: this something like this, focus on protein four meals? Right, So,
- 17:29Speaker 3: for instance, I weigh anywhere from one hundred and ten
- 17:32Speaker 3: to one fifteen, depending on time of the month, whatever, Yeah,
- 17:37Speaker 3: time of day, eating habits of the day before, right, exactly,
- 17:41Speaker 3: so right, So focus on two meals, okay, three meals
- 17:45Speaker 3: that are packed with protein and you're already almost there.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Then some hardboiled eggs mae mo jerky as a snack okay, right,
- 17:56Speaker 3: or or Greek yogurt, but don't go for the sugary
- 17:59Speaker 3: Greek yogurt please, sure.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe with a little Manu manuka.
- 18:08Speaker 3: A little manuna. Honey is so good. Money is so
- 18:13Speaker 3: great for you, and cheese seeds to help with digestion, fer.
- 18:20Speaker 1: A little that I don't need.
- 18:21Speaker 3: That's not as hard as people think. It's really just
- 18:23Speaker 3: about putting protein. And and if look, if you aren't
- 18:26Speaker 3: a big protein goer, and hopefully you eat fish, because
- 18:30Speaker 3: I think five ounces of salmon is about thirty grams
- 18:32Speaker 3: of protein, so you can still get it that way.
- 18:34Speaker 3: If you don't eat any meat at all, it is
- 18:37Speaker 3: a little more challenging. Protein shakes beans because that I
- 18:41Speaker 3: love beans, but pencil beans don't have as many not
- 18:45Speaker 3: compared to chicken or something about like black beans. Great question.
- 18:51Speaker 3: So you know it's funny. Almond butter is incredible for you,
- 18:55Speaker 3: good fats, right, yeah, so good for you. But you
- 18:59Speaker 3: can also you're also packing on a ton of fat
- 19:01Speaker 3: when you're taking that in, So like something like peeb
- 19:04Speaker 3: two or like peebe fit.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Right, peanut butter, it's basically it's basically.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Like peanut butter that has taken out half the fat.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so you can add them into your protein shakes.
- 19:18Speaker 3: That's a great way to get a little boost of protein. Seeds,
- 19:21Speaker 3: really good beans, you know, balanced amounts of tofu. I
- 19:29Speaker 3: hate to say that because you know I love I love.
- 19:32Speaker 1: To hold on. I hate peanut butter. IS hate peanut butter.
- 19:37Speaker 4: I love peanut butter. I don't love like a peanut
- 19:39Speaker 4: butter shake. I don't like I can do a peanut
- 19:41Speaker 4: butter jelly sandwich. I don't like peanut butter flavoring.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Peanut butter and banana me too. Here.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I still remember the peanut butter like banana shakes that
- 19:52Speaker 3: we got in Utah after our work.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Those are great.
- 19:54Speaker 3: It's not so good, but I still remember those.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yes, crazy, go to sports mall or something.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Is there different though? Is there an alternative that is
- 20:06Speaker 4: really good in protein and fat that is not peanut butter?
- 20:10Speaker 3: I might be the only A different nut butter like
- 20:12Speaker 3: a pistachio.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Is that I love?
- 20:15Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't like almonds either because almond butter just
- 20:21Speaker 3: don't like your peanut butter is also like it's so thick.
- 20:25Speaker 1: They're both healthier than I'm going to start.
- 20:27Speaker 2: That then, Laura but Toto's wants to know, how do
- 20:31Speaker 2: you battle bloat?
- 20:32Speaker 4: Ooh?
- 20:33Speaker 3: I like that okay, so let's talk about what causes bloating. Right,
- 20:35Speaker 3: let's talk about like things that cause bloating. And you're
- 20:38Speaker 3: gonna hate this. I hate it too, you know the
- 20:40Speaker 3: first one. And she's carbonated water that I know. I know,
- 20:44Speaker 3: By the way, I'm not by the way, I'm not
- 20:46Speaker 3: going to say that I live here and don't do
- 20:47Speaker 3: these things. I'm just telling you what happens. Yeah, Like
- 20:50Speaker 3: I love sparkle. I go to your house. I probably
- 20:53Speaker 3: owe la la eighty cases of sparks.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Did you get on that? Is that why my stomach?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Sometimes I'm like, oh, hi, what is happening?
- 21:01Speaker 4: Seven you have in a day?
- 21:03Speaker 3: So that's what now, you know? By the way, way,
- 21:08Speaker 3: yea cheese, you said cheese. Cheese can get fermented in
- 21:10Speaker 3: our tummies. So love cheese with cheese and inflammation walking
- 21:16Speaker 3: around like what's wrong? What's happened?
- 21:18Speaker 2: Literally, I don't have sparkling water to wash down the
- 21:21Speaker 2: gota cheese.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I constantly bloated and gassy and can't figure out you
- 21:28Speaker 3: wiliest plain.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I don't even.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Care, by the way, though, just good to know now
- 21:34Speaker 3: if you're like, oh, I have a shoot or something,
- 21:35Speaker 3: or I'm going to be in my bathing suit tomorrow.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I don't want to feel this way. Let's just say
- 21:39Speaker 3: right a few other things. Slow down, you're eating, chew
- 21:42Speaker 3: your food. It makes such a difference. I'm serious, me,
- 21:45Speaker 3: I know that. But life is so busy now, It's
- 21:48Speaker 3: so freaking busy that we just shovel food in our
- 21:51Speaker 3: face and walk away. And I'm like, why am I bloated?
- 21:52Speaker 3: It's because you didn't chew your food? Genuinely, Yeah that.
- 21:57Speaker 4: When I was working painting, guys, we would have to
- 22:00Speaker 4: shovel food and then after I'd be painting, Like why.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Do I feel like?
- 22:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys ready for more?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:12Speaker 3: No, like sugary drinks. And another one is you guys
- 22:16Speaker 3: ready for this? Like sugar alcohol, so processed sugars, so
- 22:21Speaker 3: any food like literally gum like wines, you guys ready
- 22:24Speaker 3: for Like yeah no no, no sugar alcohol so like
- 22:29Speaker 3: fake sugars. Processed foods are like so much higher to
- 22:33Speaker 3: cause bloating. Then, well that's why. That's like when everyone's
- 22:37Speaker 3: like what should I eat, I'm like, eat whole foods,
- 22:38Speaker 3: like real ingredients from the earth. You are, That is
- 22:41Speaker 3: the best way.
- 22:42Speaker 4: My favorite snack right now is the welches like gummy things.
- 22:46Speaker 4: How bad are those for me?
- 22:47Speaker 3: We don't even have to talk about that. I'm going
- 22:48Speaker 3: to talk about how to help prevent the bloating after
- 22:51Speaker 3: you eat those. Okay, if you're ready for this, okay,
- 22:54Speaker 3: so here a few things you guys ready for this.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Fennel seeds.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Fennel seeds.
- 22:59Speaker 3: I ate you on fennels. It's regularly, but it is
- 23:00Speaker 3: something that helps.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Put it on, like water and chug the water with
- 23:05Speaker 4: lemon water.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Lemon water is good for digestion, it is. But no,
- 23:10Speaker 3: you know what is though, is like you were talking
- 23:12Speaker 3: about yogurt before, so probiotics but natural. Right, so we're
- 23:15Speaker 3: talking like key for yogurt. We're talking about you know,
- 23:19Speaker 3: it's so good that I love. What is pickled foods
- 23:24Speaker 3: like sour.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Yeah, they've got a pickled drink at what's it called now?
- 23:34Speaker 1: No, it's the chicken, you know. No, I think it's
- 23:37Speaker 1: can you know?
- 23:38Speaker 3: I see you cutting up to what I need to
- 23:41Speaker 3: try that, by the way, just try that at some point,
- 23:43Speaker 3: just to they.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Have the whole thing menu of deal.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Pickle something you guys all love both of this. Cucumbers
- 23:50Speaker 3: great for bloating, help with bloating love this pineapple, I know,
- 23:57Speaker 3: and avocado because it's really fotassium.
- 24:00Speaker 1: You want know who has the healthiest diet in our household?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Right now?
- 24:03Speaker 3: I was going to say, yeah, no, so yeah, what.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Is taking down like the cleanest of ingredients.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I've been having a meltdown because she's got full meatballs
- 24:14Speaker 2: in her mouth. She's eight and a half months old,
- 24:16Speaker 2: dude sucking out of his straw eating meatballs.
- 24:18Speaker 3: What were those like little patties?

- 24:29Speaker 3: me on a tanic hyped up over here? What is it?
- 24:32Speaker 3: Certain vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, they do blow you.
- 24:37Speaker 4: I love broccoli.
- 24:40Speaker 1: On the rag.
- 24:41Speaker 3: They get you.
- 24:41Speaker 2: All right, Well, guess what. I'm just going to stick
- 24:43Speaker 2: to the cucumbers.
- 24:44Speaker 4: And cottage cheese.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Yes, cottage cheese.
- 24:48Speaker 3: I mean it's dairy cheese is such a fad right now?
- 24:51Speaker 2: It is?
- 24:53Speaker 3: I you, I noticed this. It's like everywhere being like
- 24:55Speaker 3: add cottage cheese to your instead to your bagel, add
- 24:58Speaker 3: cottage cheese to your I don't know your make up
- 25:02Speaker 3: what's happening everywhere. So it look that's also a great
- 25:08Speaker 3: option to get more protein in your diet.
- 25:09Speaker 1: But is the cottage cheese?
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yes, but cottage cheese can cause blood, right, but it
- 25:15Speaker 3: is very high in protein. Pick your battles, they hear.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Freaking battles and all else. Enjoy your life.
- 25:22Speaker 3: I think I could not agree moment.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Moderation is key. A lot of people ask me, like,
- 25:27Speaker 2: how you know this? How did you get your balance
- 25:30Speaker 2: back back? A lot of it is genetic, but I
- 25:33Speaker 2: will say overall, I do not deprive myself of anything,
- 25:37Speaker 2: but I never over indulge.
- 25:39Speaker 3: No, you don't. I watch you like you don't.
