- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's Mark Simone. This is the bonus segment of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the podcast. We do this just for you podcast listeners. So, hey,
- 0:07Speaker 1: great news. CBS News has brought in Barry Weiss, the journalist. Now.
- 0:12Speaker 1: She had been at the New York Times. She was
- 0:14Speaker 1: a Democrat. She's a liberal, but the unfair, ridiculously partisan
- 0:20Speaker 1: New York Times was too much for her. She spoke out,
- 0:23Speaker 1: ended up leaving over it, and then went after them.
- 0:27Speaker 1: So CBS News has hired her to clean up CBS News.
- 0:31Speaker 1: It's extremely biased, extremely partisan. They've been caught doctoring interviews,
- 0:37Speaker 1: editing up stuff in a deceptive way. They got all
- 0:40Speaker 1: kinds of problems. Now they have new owners, David Ellison,
- 0:44Speaker 1: son of Larry Ellison, and he wants a clean operation,
- 0:47Speaker 1: so they brought her in. Obviously, there's mutiny taking place
- 0:51Speaker 1: at the New York Times. They don't want to be unbiased,
- 0:54Speaker 1: they don't want to be neutral, they don't want any
- 0:57Speaker 1: of this. They're all threatening in a leave. I think
- 0:59Speaker 1: a couple have, but most of them haven't. She put
- 1:03Speaker 1: out a little memo the first couple of days saying,
- 1:06Speaker 1: I want everybody to send me a letter explaining exactly
- 1:10Speaker 1: what you do that caused a whole big stink. The
- 1:14Speaker 1: Writer's Guild jumped in and unions. But then she pointed out,
- 1:18Speaker 1: just tell me what you do. You're not going to
- 1:19Speaker 1: be fired over this. There'll be no retribution of any kind.
- 1:23Speaker 1: So and she's been showing up at the actual meetings,
- 1:25Speaker 1: day to day planning and getting involved in the picking stories,
- 1:29Speaker 1: booking guests. So it's hands on, its hands on. But
- 1:34Speaker 1: and she finally got rid of one person who was
- 1:36Speaker 1: a bit of the woke mob at CBS. So it
- 1:41Speaker 1: looks like things are going to change there, and it'd
- 1:43Speaker 1: be very interesting if they go neutral. You got NBC, ABC,
- 1:46Speaker 1: CBS very very very biased slanted. So CBS goes neutral,
- 1:53Speaker 1: just fair balanced. That could be interesting and if it
- 1:58Speaker 1: does well ratings wise, you'll see other net works to
- 2:00Speaker 1: jump in. So this is the test case. This could
- 2:04Speaker 1: mean a lot. Now the whole woke everything is on
- 2:07Speaker 1: the run, although it still exists in a lot of places.
- 2:10Speaker 1: You take Seattle, the mayor there, there was a big
- 2:15Speaker 1: debate about locking up repeat criminals. This is the problem.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You know, guys like Cuomo with their no bail, no jail.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You got these criminals that are robbing raping, looting, stabbing,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and they've got like thirty priors and they're still roaming
- 2:29Speaker 1: the streets nothing. They never get locked up. So there's
- 2:32Speaker 1: a big move now to start locking up repeat offenders.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I know it sounds insane. You have to have a
- 2:37Speaker 1: movement for this. But so they're having a debate Thursday night.
- 2:40Speaker 1: The Seattle mayor's in a debate, and he actually just
- 2:43Speaker 1: said it. He said, I have no desire to put
- 2:45Speaker 1: repeat criminal offenders in jail. He said the criminal system
- 2:49Speaker 1: is a disparate impact on black and brown communities. He
- 2:52Speaker 1: thinks it's a racist thing. And then he actually says or.
- 2:56Speaker 1: The opponent said, well, what about a person just committed
- 2:58Speaker 1: six or seven crimes, Why would you let them out again?
- 3:01Speaker 1: And he said, well, maybe they're hungry. My remedy is
- 3:05Speaker 1: to hear their life story, see how we can help.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I mean, so it's still out there. It's killing the Democrats.
- 3:12Speaker 1: It will eventually take them down, but it's still out
- 3:15Speaker 1: there in Portland, in Seattle. You still hear it in
- 3:19Speaker 1: Chicago and other places California. He's speaking of the police.
- 3:23Speaker 1: The NYPD just got a whole new fleet, one hundred
- 3:26Speaker 1: and forty new hybrid SUVs with high tech features, all
- 3:30Speaker 1: sorts of stuff in there, like James Bond sort of
- 3:32Speaker 1: technology that will actually thwart ambush's. They're actually Ford Interceptor
- 3:37Speaker 1: utility vehicles. They're about fifty thousand each, but they've got
- 3:41Speaker 1: on board sensors they can monitor all the way around
- 3:44Speaker 1: the car. They see if anybody's approaching. It can warrant
- 3:47Speaker 1: officers of any ambush or anyone walking up to the vehicle.
- 3:51Speaker 1: They have a manual pursuit mode button. I don't know
- 3:54Speaker 1: what the hell it is, but it sounds good and
- 3:57Speaker 1: it helps cops actually improve driveability power delivery during critical scenarios.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Vehicles also have a dark car mode that allows officers
- 4:07Speaker 1: to switch off all internal lights and dim the drive
- 4:11Speaker 1: council to help you keep your vehicle safely hidden. I
- 4:17Speaker 1: don't know exactly why you would want that. Oh, that
- 4:19Speaker 1: sounds bad. That's like those cops on the side of
- 4:21Speaker 1: the highway looking to catch speeders. That way they can
- 4:24Speaker 1: hide better. I don't know if I like that feature
- 4:26Speaker 1: along with the new technology. Oh, they're hybrid, okay, that's okay,
- 4:30Speaker 1: that's okay. Thirty five percent less fuel than the old cars.
- 4:34Speaker 1: They also feature crash avoidance tools, blind spot monitoring, automatic
- 4:38Speaker 1: emergency parking brake, which you need in densely populated areas. Hey,
- 4:45Speaker 1: the President as a whole commission. They're looking into these
- 4:48Speaker 1: George Soros types, these people that fund Antifa, fund the protests. Listen,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I mean, protesting is obviously a freedom of expression all that,
- 4:57Speaker 1: but some of these protesters are paid professional agitators, and
- 5:01Speaker 1: there are people funding them. It's not just Soros, there's
- 5:04Speaker 1: a whole bunch of these kind of guys. So they've
- 5:07Speaker 1: dug up one of them, Roy Singman. They believe he's
- 5:10Speaker 1: behind a lot of Antifa riots. There's a group that
- 5:14Speaker 1: studies all of this. Singmund was behind all sorts of
- 5:17Speaker 1: riots and protests. The team followed the trail of money.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You know, a lot of what they do is they
- 5:24Speaker 1: funnel the money to one organization to another organization. They
- 5:27Speaker 1: funneled to five organizations before it gets to Antiva, trying
- 5:30Speaker 1: to hide their identity. But this group has been tracking
- 5:33Speaker 1: them down. They actually call it the protest industrial complex,
- 5:37Speaker 1: this billionaire network that funds all of this stuff. So
- 5:42Speaker 1: you've noticed that President Trump is getting better and better
- 5:44Speaker 1: at memes and the you know, he was always good online.
- 5:48Speaker 1: He was always good at Twitter, always good at trolling.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But the memes are getting even better. And it turns
- 5:54Speaker 1: out there was Dan Scavino who was behind a lot
- 5:57Speaker 1: of this. He did a lot of it, Deputy chief
- 5:59Speaker 1: of Staff. But now they brought in it's another person,
- 6:03Speaker 1: Kaylin Door, deputy communications director, who apparently is absolutely brilliant
- 6:08Speaker 1: at putting together these memes. You know, the sombrero stuff,
- 6:11Speaker 1: all of that. It's been really, really effective. You know,
- 6:14Speaker 1: next year is the two hundred and fiftieth Birthday of America.
- 6:19Speaker 1: There's going to be many, many events, parties, gallas to
- 6:23Speaker 1: support all of this. One thing the President wants to
- 6:26Speaker 1: have ready by then is the new ballroom at the
- 6:28Speaker 1: White House, massive ballroom. They think it will cost about
- 6:32Speaker 1: two hundred million. President Trump will pay for a part
- 6:34Speaker 1: of it. Donors will pay for the rest. Now, the
- 6:37Speaker 1: other thing he wants to do is an arch, a
- 6:40Speaker 1: massive stone monument. You know Washington Square Park, you got
- 6:44Speaker 1: that beautiful arch and of course the most famous one
- 6:47Speaker 1: in Paris, the Arc de Triumph. Well, he wants to
- 6:51Speaker 1: copy that exactly that. Although the models he's got, he's
- 6:55Speaker 1: been showing off these models. It's that, and it's got
- 6:58Speaker 1: a big golden eagle on top and all of that beautiful.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But he's got three or four different models. He's been
- 7:04Speaker 1: showing them off to people on the Resolute desk. One
- 7:07Speaker 1: is like the size of Washington Square Park. One is bigger,
- 7:11Speaker 1: like the size of Paris the Arc de Triomphe. But
- 7:13Speaker 1: there's a third one that's bigger than all of them.
- 7:15Speaker 1: It's just absolutely huge. It just towers over everything. So
- 7:20Speaker 1: he's trying to figure out which one to go with. Now,
- 7:22Speaker 1: this will be great because when he unveils this next year,
- 7:26Speaker 1: it'll drive the left wing absolutely insane. They'll protest it.
- 7:30Speaker 1: That's the other thing. They have to do a lot
- 7:32Speaker 1: of protecting of this thing because left wing will it'll
- 7:34Speaker 1: be just a symbol of Trump's stuff and they'll be
- 7:37Speaker 1: going after it left and right. Christian Dior opens a
- 7:41Speaker 1: brand new New York City flagship store. Now here's the thing.
- 7:44Speaker 1: These big clothing stores, these big famous designers, with the massive, beautiful,
- 7:49Speaker 1: expensive clothing stores. Fifty seventh Street, Fifth Avenue, Madison Avenue.
- 7:54Speaker 1: The problem is people don't buy clothes that much in
- 7:56Speaker 1: a store anymore. It's mostly online. So they've got to
- 7:59Speaker 1: do something else. If you go to a Ralph Laurenz
- 8:01Speaker 1: store on Madison or in the Americana and these Ralph
- 8:05Speaker 1: Lurenz sta you'll notice half the place as a coffee
- 8:07Speaker 1: shop now because they're not selling anything. The retail is dead.
- 8:11Speaker 1: So literally half the store is Ralph's coffee and they
- 8:15Speaker 1: always brag about everything in there. Ralph's special blend, it's
- 8:20Speaker 1: a Columbae. It's a brand you can buy in supermarkets.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You can buy it yourself. And then if you go
- 8:26Speaker 1: to the Long Island one, it's Ralph's special brownie, Ralph's
- 8:29Speaker 1: special cookie. They actually get it from a bakery down
- 8:32Speaker 1: the street, Butter Cookery. So same thing in Manhattan. You
- 8:35Speaker 1: can just go buy this stuff yourself. But you gotta
- 8:37Speaker 1: You can't just sell clothes. It's not a big business anymore.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So this new Dior store, apparently we'll have a spa
- 8:43Speaker 1: in it, it'll have a restaurant. That's a it's just
- 8:48Speaker 1: evolving every designer. Look at the Louis Vutan the new store.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Half of it's a restaurant. Now they have to get
- 8:54Speaker 1: into some other business and do something else. Hey, speaking
- 8:58Speaker 1: of woke, Howard Stern claims that you know all these
- 9:02Speaker 1: claims about he went woke. He said, it's absolutely not true.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm not woke. He said. If I'm woke, the world
- 9:09Speaker 1: has turned upside down. He says, I have no interest
- 9:12Speaker 1: in woke. I don't know anything about woke, and it's
- 9:15Speaker 1: not macho to give a blank about somebody. I'm not
- 9:19Speaker 1: being fired. I'm talking as serious right now about extending
- 9:22Speaker 1: in some way. Yeah, something's happening. It's serious. Obviously. It's
- 9:29Speaker 1: not that they want to get rid of them. They
- 9:30Speaker 1: just don't want to pay him anymore. So the money
- 9:32Speaker 1: will be drastically reduced. And just look at that quote.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I'm not being fired. I'm talking to serious right now
- 9:39Speaker 1: about extending in some way. That doesn't sound so solid.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But he says, I've never embraced being called woke. I've
- 9:46Speaker 1: never been woke. However, a lot of people record a show,
- 9:51Speaker 1: so they all just went back through the old tapes.
- 9:54Speaker 1: September twenty twenty three, he said, I'm woke. I take
- 9:57Speaker 1: it as a compliment. I woke mother Blanker, and I
- 10:01Speaker 1: love it. So there's a lot of that. Here's another
- 10:06Speaker 1: one twenty twenty presidential election Stern quote, I am woke.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I think it's a compliment. Is another one from another year.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Here's how woko i am I believe the election was
- 10:16Speaker 1: not rigged. So he has said it a million times,
- 10:20Speaker 1: although suddenly denying it right now like crazy. So, Mom, Donnie,
- 10:26Speaker 1: the debate this week, he got hit pretty hard on
- 10:29Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. You know, all this stuff. The
- 10:30Speaker 1: free buses. He has no power to make buses free.
- 10:33Speaker 1: That's the MTA, controlled by the state, the governor. He
- 10:36Speaker 1: has nothing to say about free buses. Impossible to do.
- 10:41Speaker 1: What's the other one he was talking about, Oh, raising taxes.
- 10:44Speaker 1: He can't raise taxes, mayor. That's the legislature. Now. The
- 10:47Speaker 1: other one is the big rent freeze. People pointing out
- 10:50Speaker 1: he can't freeze rents. He doesn't have the power to
- 10:53Speaker 1: do that. It's actually it's up to the rent guidelines
- 10:58Speaker 1: Board commission. The mayor has no power on it. It's
- 11:02Speaker 1: not going to work. Hey, we're talking about John Bolton
- 11:04Speaker 1: getting indicted. Who's next. Well, a lot of people think
- 11:08Speaker 1: Adam Schiff is coming up next. Look for Adam Shift
- 11:11Speaker 1: to get indicted very soon. Also when it comes to
- 11:13Speaker 1: Letitia James, look for them to add charges. There may
- 11:18Speaker 1: be new charges coming for Letitia James. Now it's not lawfair.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Lawfair is when you get indicted in four different cities
- 11:25Speaker 1: at the same time. In fact, I have Here's a
- 11:29Speaker 1: list of Republicans arrested under Biden, the Biden administration. These
- 11:33Speaker 1: are Trump people. Trump people have got arrested, Trump supporters.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I can't read it to you because it's seventy eight names,
- 11:43Speaker 1: seventy eight of them, from Peter Navarro to Rudy Giuliani
- 11:48Speaker 1: to Mark Meadows. It goes on and on and on.
- 11:50Speaker 1: These are all Trump administration, Trump supporters, people involved with Trump.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It's seventy eight of them. Here's a list of the
- 11:59Speaker 1: Democrats arrested under Donald Trump. One I'm actually two. I
- 12:04Speaker 1: guess Bolton and Letitiachus. So seventy five versus two. You
- 12:10Speaker 1: see the difference. It's pretty obvious which side the law
- 12:14Speaker 1: fair is on. Hey. I also remember, you know they
- 12:19Speaker 1: did other things besides the lawfair. I remember the d
- 12:21Speaker 1: banking Right after January sixth, they had banks throw out
- 12:26Speaker 1: people like Trump, Trump himself. These are people with businesses, corporations.
- 12:30Speaker 1: You can't run a business without a bank. You have
- 12:32Speaker 1: to have a bank. Remember JP Morgan Chas tells Trump
- 12:36Speaker 1: he has to leave the bank. They can't handle his accounts.
- 12:39Speaker 1: This is his bank for forty years. He then goes
- 12:41Speaker 1: to Bank of America. We can't touch you, we can't
- 12:44Speaker 1: handle you. D banking is basically the way of putting
- 12:46Speaker 1: somebody out of business. The Biden administration did that to
- 12:50Speaker 1: a number of people, a number of people, even though
- 12:53Speaker 1: they had Epstein as a client. They loved Epstein because
- 12:56Speaker 1: he put billions in They had no problem with his account,
- 12:59Speaker 1: but they throughout Trump and Trump's supporters. It was absolutely ridiculous. Hey, well,
- 13:04Speaker 1: thanks for listening. This is the bonus segment. If you're
- 13:06Speaker 1: a podcast listener on the weekends, you get this special
- 13:10Speaker 1: bonus segment. I'll be back Monday ten to noon.
