- 0:13[SPEAKER_04]: I've got a fun little Friday morning show for you here today on Patreon.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_04]: Rockin' it on Patreon.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_04]: All you guys are written in, saying hey, dear to love the morning shows, nice to have coffee with you instead of... Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-
- 0:47[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we'll go through the greatest hits, see what the big news is for the day.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_04]: And then come in because that's kind of like the last piece of news that you're getting before you come in here.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_04]: Now we have book.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_04]: Now, Blue Book has been our go-to right before the show.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_04]: Guy of watching the weirdest shit on the planets.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_04]: And then saying, hey dude, what do you think about this?
- 1:11[SPEAKER_04]: which I love, what's this video that you were watching literally right before we went on air that we changed the name of the show too.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_04]: It's in, well, it's important, okay?
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: You just gotta watch the clip.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: What does that even mean?
- 1:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's important.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you'll see when you watch the clip.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think we all understand.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I like you.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_04]: God.
- 1:37[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
- 1:41[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry.
- 1:42[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry.
- 1:42[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
- 1:46[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_04]: So for the audio listeners here that 20 second clip appeared to be dudes from medieval times holding modern weaponry.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_04]: Is that correct?
- 2:04[SPEAKER_04]: That sounds about right to me.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, a description, yeah.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_04]: And this is AI, you said?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, that's tough.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_04]: But because before we went on, I said, you said you were watching something, and I was like, is that AI, is that a video game or anything else?
- 2:17[SPEAKER_04]: And then you said, hey, do there is a video game of this?
- 2:22[SPEAKER_03]: There's an actual things people are making.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's an early access now.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_03]: It's called King Makers.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_03]: King Makers.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_03]: And what is King Makers all about?
- 2:31[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, well, let's play the trailer.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's all about the phone.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_03]: Is it this phone we've got?
- 2:34[SPEAKER_04]: All right, all right, all right.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_03]: God.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_04]: Now this looks slightly different because it looks like modern dudes dropped into medieval times.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so the AI video seems like it was arming medieval soldiers with modern weaponry.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_03]: This is actually like modern operators going back in time to change the tides and medieval battles.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_03]: God, it got it, got it.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_03]: Which this is obviously a scenario that I know me, and I've charted thousands of the men in the audience that I've got.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_04]: Have this debate at some point in life?
- 3:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_04]: It's an interesting one, and we can have it here today.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's like 500 kindergarteners versus an adult, or what was it?
- 3:26[SPEAKER_04]: 100 girls versus a man.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_04]: I think we did that show.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's like a 100 men versus one gorilla.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_04]: something crazy like that and then Dan perks up over there, you said it would take you and how many people to defeat a medieval.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, what would you say is the size of the average medieval army, a couple of thousand people?
- 3:47[SPEAKER_03]: That's a great question.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_03]: How was it?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: I was thinking about that before we were getting started as we if we're going to determine this we kind of need to set up the scenario because if we're talking about a campaign that's going to be different than a single battle.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_05]: So the third crusade typically numbered between 12 and 25,000 people.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that ain't gonna get it done.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_04]: South had more than that than the Civil War.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's not really comparable, but no.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_04]: Everything goes back to the Civil War and the South didn't have enough people down.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_05]: Every single problem in the world.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think that's accurate.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it is.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_04]: It's fucking science, man.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_04]: Jesus Christ, why, you, I, Dr. Fauci exist for a reason.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_04]: This is nuts here.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so 12,000 people, how many, how many would it take you?
- 4:35[SPEAKER_04]: With modern shit.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean it depends on the style of attack.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, we leave in helicopters off the table.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_04]: What do we, is there, I think we're taking off the table.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_05]: I would just say small arms, mortars, and machine guns because that's comparable to what they had.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, right.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think that if you had air power to it, it's just automatically, okay.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: You just drop a fucking J-dam on these people.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: I am their whole village.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, I think a company of dudes could take out 10,000 people for sure.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_04]: How many is in the company?
- 5:11[SPEAKER_05]: 160.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_04]: So 160 versus 12,000.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_03]: What's say you, you were in the military?
- 5:20[SPEAKER_03]: What do you got, Kube?
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, Dan's got a way more experience than I do, so I defer to him.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_03]: But the, so I've heard a lot of speculation about this from different YouTube channels and things like that.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this is a huge debate, dude.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_04]: That's, we had, by the way, we walked in.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_04]: We had a totally different show plan.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_04]: And then, Blue TV was over there.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_04]: Fucking watching his weird shit.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, what is that, dude?
- 5:42[SPEAKER_03]: So what was your debate that so to me, the only thing that's really the only way that the medieval army could possibly win is in mass human wave attacks that just overwhelm the defenders because I'm assuming this is gonna be
- 5:59[SPEAKER_03]: a defense situation, or are we talking about the modern army going on the attack?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_03]: So, also, if this is going to be a campaign, if this is going to be multiple battles, I actually think that I'd lean a little bit more towards a medieval army compared to the modern army.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_03]: Whoa, really, and extended campaign, yeah, I think.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: What do you mean by extended?
- 6:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, how long?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I mean, just average length of a.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: Well, like Russian Ukraine is four and a half years right now.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, let's see.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_03]: Well, give me a second.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'll look up and see if I can find a comparable situation in the past.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_04]: Because that if you're going that long, those motherfuckers are used to find in food and everything like they know, you know, I think they've gone on longer with the last.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's it's it's.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_05]: a lot of easier to find food with a fucking machine gun.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_04]: Is it?
- 6:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, if you're obviously, you know, laced in up a fucking deer, like all that shit everywhere, like, you know, if you think it's one clean shot, um, yeah, well, we have snipers too.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_04]: How many snipers are in your unit?
- 7:06[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, in a company, usually we'll have, uh,
- 7:10[SPEAKER_05]: Each, there's not always snipers, it goes into pens.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_05]: Not everybody goes to snipers school.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_04]: But snipers are important.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_05]: I usually will have two designated marksman and each weapons squad, which is, that would be...
- 7:27[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going into this with an open mind knowing nothing about military strategy or battle here.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_04]: And if you have two coup, how do you stop those two guys?
- 7:38[SPEAKER_05]: What's the what's the scenario one more time I was looking at the average can we can go through a couple of them so mass infantry front all assault let's say that Is the first one and I think that's the Modern on the attack
- 7:56[SPEAKER_05]: The immediate advantage is obviously range.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_05]: I can sit back and pick you off all day long, but you're behind a castle wall.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_05]: Now I can drop mortars on your head too.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_05]: And this is the siege problem with access to the land.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_05]: I can survive indefinitely and conserve whereas you and the castle walls have finite resources.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe it's two years.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_05]: That's usually what they tried to pack out for as two years, but in the medieval times.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_03]: But still that wouldn't stop me.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_03]: So modern army attacking a link siege to a medieval castle.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_03]: I'd say modern army is going to win 100% of the time.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_03]: If you switch those roles, if it's the modern army defending, I think they're still going to win.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_03]: I think they'd have even more in advantage if they were the ones.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_03]: What?
- 8:45[SPEAKER_05]: Let's just say open ground.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_05]: How about that?
- 8:49[SPEAKER_05]: Just the level that playing field because there's no way.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_05]: unless it's without sustained combat, the medieval guys have no chance because I can wait you out.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_05]: I can kill you a little bit at a time.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_05]: I always have the the the
- 9:07[SPEAKER_05]: If you don't use your full numbers against me, then I always have the advantage, no matter what it is.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_05]: There's no scavenging for resources advantage, just because you were in medieval times, because I know how to clean the food to a not-dive fucking dysentery, right?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_05]: You're also washing your hands, so you're probably not shit in yourself, too.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_05]: So that like disease and all that shit is not an issue for me.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_05]: The human, so you mentioned, let's take the most extreme version of
- 9:38[SPEAKER_05]: size of force over the smallest, I guess you could say of a company level element.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_05]: And that is repeated human way of attacks.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_05]: Now I know that sounds problematic.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_05]: to the non-empantry man, but that's not an issue for me at all, because I can set my folks up in a big diamond, that's probably what I would do as a diamond shape, because it's the most secure, but I could set my people up in a diamond, that means there's two triangles, fold it.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_05]: like this.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_05]: The rear one is preparing to attack and guarding our flank and the front one is my assault element as it pertains to the people that are coming there.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_05]: In the middle of my diamond shape are 60 and 81 millimeter mortars that are dropping on.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_05]: No man's land.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_05]: The entire time these assholes are trying to come at me.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_05]: That with intersecting feels a fire for machine guns.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, there's going to be some body stacked and at some point 10,000 bodies gets pretty high.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_05]: I would imagine, right?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_03]: Eventually, that their own bodies are actually going to turn into an obstacle that they have to overcome.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: They're lining over the top of the bodies and getting picked off as they go over the top.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_05]: Oddly enough, this is what John Baselone received the Medal of Honor for, for running out into no man's land on E. Wood Gima and pulling bodies down, but the Chinese bodies down, or Japanese bodies, excuse me, down, so they still had a clear line of fire into the wood line.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_05]: on the other side.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_05]: But even if it came down to, this is my point.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_05]: For that size element, I would have 1,000 rounds of 81 or 120s depending on what I brought.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_05]: I would have 1,500 to 2,000 rounds of
- 11:35[SPEAKER_05]: 240 Bravo Machine Guns, and
- 11:40[SPEAKER_05]: Usually, one of the weapon squads will also have a Mark 19, which is a fully automatic 40-millimeter grenade launcher, right?
- 11:49[SPEAKER_05]: Which can also do some work as it when it comes to the field.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_05]: And then, of course, I would have probably, for a five-day campaign, 150 to 200,000 rounds of 55, 5, 5, 6.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_05]: That's what I would plan for.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_05]: This is a light in which we're company, by the way.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_05]: If it was mechanized, they would have no chance.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_05]: just to be clear right as soon as I don't mean tanks.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_05]: How does it mean humbese.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_05]: They'd be dead.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I could just drive over.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_04]: You had me at this Snipers.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_05]: Like you had me at the Snipers.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_05]: Snipers are the least important part of this.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_05]: I just don't think they would ever be able to see them.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_05]: Well, no, but I mean, that's the least important part because the Snipers can only kill one guy at a time.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going 6 to 9 round bursts with two machine guns that's 14 to 18 rounds into a
- 12:36[SPEAKER_05]: that I'm operational.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, he's never fired a gun before.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_04]: Is that Kim Jong-un up there?
- 12:44[SPEAKER_04]: You put him by himself against the medieval village?
- 12:48[SPEAKER_04]: It's over.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_05]: But as people are coming towards me, right?
- 12:55[SPEAKER_05]: I'm dropping borders in front of in behind them.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_05]: I have two mortar teams, dropping borders in front of in behind them if I'm capable of doing that, which I would be.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_05]: and put them into a kill box even inside of no man's land.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_05]: And then I have intersecting field of fire doing this basically on multiple points, probably four points across the front of my formation.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_05]: And that's like anybody that walks into it is immediately dead.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_05]: Now,
- 13:24[SPEAKER_05]: crowding is a thing in medieval warfare you don't we don't talk about that much anymore but you're just assuming everybody's hopped up on cotton this is Somalia right they're just going to keep coming wave after wave let's that's not how it works in real life it never has in human history but let's just say for the sake of wearing it that happens at some point it's not about
- 13:44[SPEAKER_05]: running out of ammo or, or, or even reloading or anything like that, it's the bigger problem is the barrel's heating up on these guns, right, switching out the barrels, you got to be very proficient at that.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_05]: Same with the mortar too.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_05]: And then you've got to have dudes pouring water on or pissing on tubes or whatever, right, unless you've got some other kind of setup for that.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_05]: That's a, that's a big problem.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_05]: But even when, even if there
- 14:15[SPEAKER_05]: a situation where the front end of our diamond starts to get over them because as these guys are getting gray on ammo, these guys are moving up to either resupply them or take their positions or change the guns out or whatever one by one.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: I was going to ask, I thought it was like the Roman tactic where you're constantly swapping out your line.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's a constant rotation, kind of like the failings.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_05]: And then if it appears as though,
- 14:40[SPEAKER_05]: We can't operate on that triangle right here anymore.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_05]: We can back the entire element of a hundred meters in unison, right?
- 14:49[SPEAKER_05]: And if they start to break through anything, we do something called, well, I mean, it's called a lot of things, but we usually,
- 15:01[SPEAKER_05]: If we're still trying to kill people, we're just trying to get the fuck out of Dodge, then it's just breaking contact.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_05]: But if you break, you can break contact and use something called a peeling maneuver, and it's bounding over watch.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_05]: I stop, I look, the other guy runs, whatever.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_05]: But in this case, especially in your diamond formation, you have machine guns set up on the outside of that.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_05]: So as dudes pass what is I guess a reverse L away you call last man and anybody else that comes through there It was getting lit up with a machine gun until they get set set then you pick up your guns run and they cover you up the middle And then the guns move out to the side that the new set of guns move out to the side those guns run through Whatever the fuck and you keep breaking contact like that.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_05]: It's called the funnel effect and you direct the enemy into an inflate
- 15:46[SPEAKER_05]: where is just you can do it a lot of different ways you can do guns here pointing in or you can if you have enough separation if they're taken too long you can set up L shaped and just wait for them to come into a killbox and wipe them all out at one time or whatever right there's a million ways to handle that.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_04]: So, stupid question here because I get to ask it.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_04]: Would the bullet be able to pierce their metal armor easily?
- 16:09[SPEAKER_05]: No, okay.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's not a real metal.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it is, but it's not anything's gonna stop a bullet.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, we don't use metal to stop bullets.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_05]: We use ceramic and fucking sand and shit like that.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: It's so have you guys put it on before like a chain links, you know, medieval suit and all that shit I born chain mail before, but I've never worn actual plate mail.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: So we did it for a movie.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_04]: It is fucking heavy as shit.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_04]: So I didn't know if the heaviness and the thickness of a heaviness and hardness and not the same thing.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so bullet would go through it.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, okay.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty sexy steel core round seven as excuse the steel core round.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_03]: And it would, it would, it would pierce that pretty easily.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_03]: There were some early, uh, uh, there was some play, like some crossover where there was some play dorm where they could stop early firearms, but they overcame that pretty quickly.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but they were shoot.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_05]: They were firing round projectiles at that point.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_05]: Not pointed ones with steel cores.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_04]: Another dumb question for you here.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, this is, this is like a fan thing right now.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_04]: I really want to point that out.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_05]: I see a picture like this and I picture a machine gun just mowing down the legs of these horses and then I would do everybody falls off is that's yeah the a cavalry charge would actually be a bit of a problem which is why cavalry exists.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_05]: Once the medieval commanders
- 17:36[SPEAKER_05]: can't move through that area, they're going to start trying to flank and horses are faster than people.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to get into a foot race with a horse.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_05]: That's why I'm using that diamond shape, because I have 360-degree security the whole time.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_05]: Gotcha.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_05]: Gotcha.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_04]: Because that watch says old westerns, and some of them would go for the horses immediately and then boom, that would that would be it.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_03]: So that raises kind of an interesting question, what if you're facing
- 18:03[SPEAKER_03]: like a amount of army like the Mongolians, mounted archers and things like that.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's tough.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_05]: That's a tougher way to do it.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_05]: You've got a lot harder.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_05]: You've got to, everybody gets a vote in war.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_05]: That's the interesting thing about it.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_05]: So for me, I've got to explain that.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_05]: It's like who gets a vote.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody in the all 160 people or no, no, no.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_05]: I don't mean it to democracy.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_05]: I mean the enemy gets a vote So they can change up their tactics too.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not if if I know that I'm going up against a mounted element like that I'm going into the fucking hills
- 18:37[SPEAKER_05]: Right, okay, I have to go and hit like hills and trees stop that Ricky take that's even that old dude that Was running from that fucking Buffalo tried to run through the trees as a reason for that because they can't go through solid objects, right?
- 18:51[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, like that you'd essentially you'd have to dig in somewhere, right?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_05]: Dig in I don't know if I would it depends if I had overhead cover from the tree line.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but even then your
- 19:01[SPEAKER_05]: If they've got cannons and shit like that, you're looking at best on trees exploding around you just like just like in the the 506 you don't want that either like you don't want to fucking give the enemy extra projectiles sitting around you either, but yeah we we also have
- 19:22[SPEAKER_05]: Like, they have scouts that will go out and do harassment campaigns, even in the middle of a campaign.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_05]: It's stuff like that.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_05]: We have battle drill on alpha.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_05]: So if somebody, if we're moving through an area and somebody starts and trying to engage with us, or if we even see them actually, and we know that we're going to engage with them, we laid out of support by fire element.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_05]: and then send a crew up and around to flank them immediately.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_05]: It just, that happens immediately.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
- 19:54[SPEAKER_05]: In this case, in a company element, that being a tire platoon of 40 dudes going out there.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_05]: And 40 dudes with a couple of machine guns and six saws can do a lot of damage.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_05]: You know, when there's a whole company in front of the guys, fire him from that direction too.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_05]: So this would be easy, and how long would it take?
- 20:18[SPEAKER_05]: Nothing's easy, but you could wipe out 10,000 dudes and fucking shoo.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, how many people died at Normandy?
- 20:31[SPEAKER_03]: Ah, shits.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_03]: It was roughly 10,000 casualties, 4,414 deaths.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_05]: That was 40 German, no, it was 80 German machine guns.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_05]: They did that.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_05]: But those are 80 MG 42 machine guns.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_03]: Insanely high rate of fire.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_05]: But mostly machine guns firing from an elevated position to from a distance.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_05]: If you're talking about like a mobile infantry unit, yeah, you could you could do that.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_05]: And I could wipe all these dudes out in a day.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_05]: Like a full day of fighting, yeah, maybe two, but I'd plan for five.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_04]: All right, Dan, then we get some sponsors to put the shit wagon on the air.

- 23:39[SPEAKER_04]: And a box and glove on.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, because my kids all get them.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_04]: So that's the thing, man.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_04]: It's like it was on Facebook and Instagram and everything else.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_04]: I've told this story before with this.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_04]: This is truly how this one started.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_04]: It was like, good, can I get these or whatever?
- 23:53[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, all right, cool, man.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_04]: I'll get them for you.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_04]: And you know how these serve you kind of the same ads like once you buy something off a website, yeah, that's what happened to me.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_04]: And so I didn't know they had all the NHL teams, all the NFL teams, all the college teams, everything else, but then they swap them with each other.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_04]: So my kids took the Ohio State one.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_04]: When we did the drinking bros weights who were like college football prediction show, he was like, yeah, I love that dude and he's like, can I have it?
- 24:20[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm
- 24:22[SPEAKER_04]: No, you can't have it.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my, you're not heartless.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_04]: Well, and we have an advertiser that gives us 40% off for Christ's six.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_04]: Did I use my own promo code?
- 24:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_04]: Have I used separate emails for this?
- 24:32[SPEAKER_04]: Sure have.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_04]: Doos, I've ordered, I think, a no-line do.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_04]: Like six or seven on my own.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_04]: And like, I'm using my wife and crime corner and, like, every email we have, just so I can get the 40% off.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, they trade them.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_04]: So like, they'll trade pendants and things like that or they'll have bets against each other
- 24:53[SPEAKER_04]: You know, if I had a state loses, you'll have to wear mine and vice versa.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_04]: And I would have totally gotten into that if I were their age.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_04]: Same.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_04]: And it's not expensive.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_04]: So it's like, all right, cool.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_04]: Because a lot of this is gold plated or silver plated or whatever it is.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_04]: So the price is reasonable.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_04]: And with 40% off, like some of the stuff's like 50 bucks.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm like, all right, cool man, you guys have fun.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_04]: And it's a, it's a fun way to get them all involved in the sports.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_04]: And then the other thing I think is my honest to God truth on this.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_04]: Just coaching all their teams.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_04]: I think because they all wear it in games.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: then they want to be like each other, you know, like, hey, I want to be like my older brother and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
- 25:38[SPEAKER_04]: So the kids choose size, you know what I'm saying?
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: And I like that, like I don't mind that.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_04]: And then they'll sit and watch the game, which I like.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_04]: So at the end of the day, yeah, do it.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_04]: Am I right?
- 25:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, do it.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm fine with it.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_04]: I love this.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_04]: And I reached out to them, this was me, this is all me.

- 30:30[SPEAKER_03]: times the thing that I'm still seeing is one of the bigger problems.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_03]: The human wave thing was was my first big concern, but yeah, if you've got the two different lines that are switching out, you could take care of that pretty well, but it seems like regardless of the situation if
- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: the modern army doesn't or the like the modern unit doesn't in the fight as quickly as possible if it gets dragged out the longer it's dragged out the only if I run out of ammo that's the little scenario where that's a problem I was thinking even just uh... even protecting your own formation so you've got to have been here's the thing about protected mile for a nation i can say overnight i can see it night and they can't
- 31:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they're going to meet the green eye devil, and to be honest, that's why I say one day, because if it even goes, if the sun sets, they have to start fires, which to stop me from seeing them at night.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_03]: As soon as the sun goes down there, fuck you guys can just go in and pick them off at your leisure.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so yeah, time's not an issue modern.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I thought we have grenades and shit like that.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's just And then you know it depends again Everybody gets a vote on this stuff, but if I've access to the battlefield even a little bit even only my sector of it I've got claymores all over the fucking place They make one wrong move the whole the ground opens up.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
- 31:49[SPEAKER_05]: It's just a different kind of situation.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_05]: They didn't think about things that way
- 31:53[SPEAKER_05]: Or I guess maybe they didn't have the capability to do it and such an easy fashion We then have anti-personnel minds and stuff like that.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_05]: They had gunpowder So they could have made them they just didn't think too I guess they didn't think to make like Pipes you could have easily made a pipe bomb and and out of glass jars and shit like that with just Pete chunks of metal in it Back then and I don't think it really occurred to him.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it did and I didn't know that but
- 32:19[SPEAKER_03]: So if we stick specifically to militaries before the invention of gunpowder, what?
- 32:26[SPEAKER_03]: Ancient military do you think would be the most I was just gonna say that.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, like what's the closest one?
- 32:32[SPEAKER_05]: Like year wise that that would put up a fight per show just because of the numbers Persia.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, how many how many how many people do they have?
- 32:40[SPEAKER_05]: billions.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, three million.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's three million.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_05]: It's three million retards, but they I don't know how many actual good fighters They have a three million people.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_05]: You're not beaten out with any amount of one retard is hard to beat if one alone three million so
- 32:55[SPEAKER_04]: The reason why I find this so fascinating is I don't know what case you guys are doing next week But Jesse's study is those cases for crime corner, and I asked for the same question of like what's the year?
- 33:06[SPEAKER_04]: I guess it is literally last night What's the year which you could get away with the murder of the easiest versus now because there's so many fucking cameras and all that is shit
- 33:15[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, without blinking an eye, she said the 1970s.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was just going to say it started getting hard right around the 1970s.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_04]: And I asked so the same questions I was asking, Dan, I was like, why?
- 33:24[SPEAKER_04]: And it was like, well, there's no cameras.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_04]: There's no thing.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_04]: People were trusting you going trespassing cops.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_04]: It was impossible.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_04]: There was no DNA testing.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_04]: All that other shit.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_05]: One would imagine your, your obviously testing existed in the 70s.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_04]: Not to this extent.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_05]: The issue was convincing courts that it was real.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_05]: We had that problem in Iraq, actually.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_05]: We had murders and bomb makers with DNA on the bomb making equipment and they thought we were, they thought it was magic, the judges in Iraq were like, what are you talking about?
- 33:58[SPEAKER_05]: Are you kidding?
- 33:58[SPEAKER_05]: Tell that he touched this how they didn't believe it and we had to bring in people to explain to them that the earth is not 5,000 years old.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_05]: You fucking 70 IQ turd.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_04]: But it's amazing how quickly all of this can change.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_04]: Because that's 50 years, right?
- 34:18[SPEAKER_04]: This, what's the last, so, all right, besides Persian, what's the war before that?
- 34:23[SPEAKER_04]: Like, what were we to do it?
- 34:26[SPEAKER_05]: No, we're just, war war two is modern, as far as weapons go.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, versus today.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_05]: War war two versus today.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_05]: That would be a fight, our tactics are a lot better now.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_05]: We can see it night and they couldn't see it night.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_05]: If it's, if you're fighting against World War II era people, you have to include aircraft, because they have aircraft.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_05]: You have to include tanks, because they have tanks, and that's it.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_05]: But you look at if it's just guy versus guy if it's just like a plot a light infantry platoon versus another light infantry Platoon they had fucking those shitty anti-tank rockets at their level and we've got AT4's and And javillins.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I can fucking I can look straight ahead and see your thing Press two buttons and do a top what's called a top-down attack on your fucking position
- 35:22[SPEAKER_05]: It ain't go straight out up and then write down on top of your head.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_05]: That's an AT4.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_05]: That's just a direct fire weapon.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that during World War II they even had any anti-tank.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_05]: capabilities that could penetrate modern armor that a bazooka the bazooka could go not modern armor now oh yeah they could know not a bazooka another picture the bazooka bounced off of the german tanks most of the time oh shiit yeah and they had that one uh...
- 35:53[SPEAKER_05]: They didn't have a 203 or the M320 now, I think, is what we use.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_05]: But they had that one grenade that fit into the end of the rifle that you could pop off.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you had the little link into it to fire it.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_05]: With that thing fucking sucks.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_04]: So, if you're looking at this picture here that blue pop up, thank you for doing this.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_04]: You're roughly, it looks like wearing the same type of gear, it's similar.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, the shoes and all other stuff are better in the weapons are more high-tech,
- 36:23[SPEAKER_04]: Is it that much bigger, bigger of an upgrade if you're looking at these two pictures right here?
- 36:28[SPEAKER_04]: By the way, subscribe to Patreon right now because there's a lot of pictures and videos in shit.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_05]: Ah, yeah, to you.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's not even close.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_05]: So the M1 grand can fire 50 rounds a minute.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_05]: I can fire 900.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_05]: Holy shit.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_05]: You're fucked.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_04]: Holy shit.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, thank you.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_04]: And then in regards to what they're wearing,
- 36:51[SPEAKER_05]: obviously there's a lot more armor in today's we would be heavier yes so going through a hilly terrain and switchbacks and shit like that fighting through the hill the mountains might be a little more difficult I mean anybody's been to a cancelsy and those that were fighting goat herders who've spent their entire lives up there and they're quite a bit even these uh... like small weak turrets are better than navigating through that stuff and a lot of us are
- 37:17[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's funny.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_04]: I asked my grandfather this question.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_04]: He fought in one word, too.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_04]: Um, his response was we would kill them because we would kill today's troops.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_04]: And I go, why is that?
- 37:27[SPEAKER_04]: And he goes, they're all a bunch of fucking posties.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_05]: That's what every generation thinks about the next.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_03]: It was my next question, too.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_03]: Now, if you take any weapons out of the situation, what generation do you think would win?
- 37:40[SPEAKER_05]: uh... of of what generation of who americans were to uh... who are two males versus modern day males no weapons modern for sure modern well the weapons really were so much bigger than they were that much bigger yeah physically no my grandfather's a big dude there's exceptions but the average dude back then was a lot smaller than we are now yeah i don't think i could have been my grandpa even when he was in his 80s that's what i feel like to we've got his 88 well i guess it depends on which generation talking about but
- 38:07[SPEAKER_05]: X and millennial got way bigger than the greatest or lost height weight everything quite a bit bigger So if you're talking about hand-to-hand yet, that would be a that'd be tough fight for them But
- 38:23[SPEAKER_05]: toughness, more broadly speaking, they're probably tougher.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_05]: They went through, they grew up tougher.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: So, of course, they're probably tougher.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that was his point, where he goes, dude, the shit that we grew up with made us tougher, like I don't really fucking care.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe, but once you start fighting to the death, everybody gets tough, that's just not.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_05]: Once that's survival instinct, kicks in.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sure that would work out where you're going to be.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_04]: That was the only time I like he perked up.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_04]: You know, like I used to fucking bother him as a kid about it.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_04]: When he was talking about work, I mean, yeah, it was a bit of a gender generation.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_04]: It was the only time.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_04]: Because otherwise, I've said this in the show before.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_04]: He never talked about it.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_04]: Same with my other grandfather.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_04]: You fought Korea, never talked about it.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_04]: Great grandfather was more than happy to talk about, uh, war war war.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_04]: because his situation was he was so poor.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_04]: He was cutting heads off the chickens and tiffin Ohio.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_04]: We just had 14 years old.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_04]: We have, that was his job.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_05]: We're healthier than they were, believe it or not, despite all everything, but we have way access to way more calories than they ever did.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and there's actually been an accidental study about this, a blue coup, probably pull it up.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_05]: North versus South Korea in the last 80 years.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_05]: So they are the, ethnically speaking, they are the exact same people.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_05]: All, all genetically identical.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_05]: And 80 years ago, the comics took over North Korea and the capitalist took over South Korea and in North, they got fed government portioned rice and in the South they protein.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_05]: And the difference in body composition just in what three generations, four generations is, while they're not even the same race of people anymore.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, shit.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking at it here.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_05]: It says North Korean preschool children can be up to five inches shorter and 15 pounds lighter than South Korean North Korea just changed their Wow, and lessment requirements where you can enlist in the military if you're like 95 pounds or 85 pounds and 447 or 480.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_04]: Shut the fuck out of what it is you wouldn't be able to do anything for seven and 85 pounds.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_04]: I mean jaggers bigger than that
- 40:35[SPEAKER_05]: Let me see if I can find it.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_05]: It's on somebody else's milk.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: If you had a million of them, yeah, for sure.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_04]: But even like he's he's pointing up like two or three years.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_04]: Cause he has to cause there's not enough kids here.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_04]: And he's a big kid, but like he still gets fucking smoke to buy those older kids, man, just because of their size and their weight.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_04]: Has nothing to do with mental smartness either.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_04]: It's just literally size and weight.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, from what I'm reading here, it sounds like North Korea might be doing something right, because North Korean women on average weigh 20 pounds less than South Korean women.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_05]: I think they have to.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but South Korean women are not fat.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_05]: There's only one fat person in North Korea, and that's Kim Jong-un.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's only one fat person in Asia.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: And we're eating a rice diet all day.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm really doing it to you.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_02]: So the North Korean height requirement is 148 centimeters, which is 4.8 feet.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_02]: Holy shit.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's third requirement.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_04]: So let me ask you the biggest overall question then more wise.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: Because like this video game is fascinating.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_04]: When does this come out?
- 41:43[SPEAKER_03]: uh... it's in early act uh... king makers as a name of the game as an early access right now not a sponsor by the way and i don't play video games i don't know any of that coming from an independent game developer i'm always a man there's a lot of those coming out man there are the only ones making good games anymore fuck i that's what i heard there's uh... another big youtuber who's doing it right now um... they've got their own game coming out they said the same thing it can you just do it a i was
- 42:09[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, before I started the job that I had immediately before I came into podcasting, I was making video games.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_03]: You were making them?
- 42:16[SPEAKER_03]: Did you have to sit in those fucking rooms?
- 42:18[SPEAKER_03]: No, it was me and my brother-in-law.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_03]: We were doing independent game development.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, here we go.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_05]: Korea until 1945 was one group of people.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_05]: And then the men are now three inches taller on average in South Korea.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they reduced the height requirement to four foot eight because two few 17 year olds could were four foot 10, which is what it was before.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_05]: So they had two few Midgets already.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_05]: The people that you see in those North Korean parades are the biggest and well fed people that exist in that country and they're the only ones.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody else is a child.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_05]: And South Korea about 50 years ago, they started eating protein.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_05]: And the women since have grown have gained eight inches and height on average.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_05]: Block eight inches.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's, why aren't we using that study here then?
- 43:22[SPEAKER_05]: We ought to be protein.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_04]: No, well, do we?
- 43:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I mean, half of us do.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_02]: Damn, I mean, I eat the meat sticks, that's for sure.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so big is over all question here.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_04]: Is there any army or military over time that could be any US military over time?
- 43:43[SPEAKER_05]: It depends on the size.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_04]: It's numbers, just the biggest factor here.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_05]: It's the only limiting factor.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_05]: You're talking about, you can only shoot so many people.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if it was 10 million people, how are you going to shoot them?
- 43:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_05]: So you just proved my point.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_04]: South could have won.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_04]: South could have.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_04]: It all comes back to this.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_03]: That was like, that was the purpose of this whole episode.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_03]: That was it.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_04]: Man, and in the textbooks back in the day in Georgia, I've read one of them said the same thing.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not kidding.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_04]: South would have won if they would have had more people.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_04]: where to God.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_04]: I forget what the numbers were, but they said it was like 12-1 maybe, that the union outnumbered the Confederates.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_04]: But I used to hear that in my fucking history classes up for an over and over again.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_04]: And they didn't say it like in a racist manner, they just said, hey, we don't have enough people.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they're just statement facts.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_04]: And like, I never, we didn't have, I'll deldate myself.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have the fucking internet, dude.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I'm seeing at 2.12.6 million soldiers served in the Union Army where roughly 750,000 to 1.2 million served in the Confederate force.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, dude.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_04]: So what was the biggest issue there?
- 44:58[SPEAKER_04]: Issue with what?
- 44:59[SPEAKER_04]: Just people in Civil War?
- 45:03[SPEAKER_04]: What do you mean?
- 45:05[SPEAKER_04]: If you go by this numbers, let's go by the low estimate.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_04]: There are 700,000 versus 2.2 million.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_04]: Is that all it is?
- 45:12[SPEAKER_05]: We're minus three teachers' rights.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_05]: No, it wasn't just about the numbers.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_05]: It was about industrial power and logistics, logistics, win wars, soldiers, win battles, logistics, win wars, and the North had more.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_05]: Like the South was able to produce more textiles and stuff, but as far as metal and everything went, which you used to win wars, the fucking North had more medicine, the North had more, et cetera, et cetera.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: Gotcha.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_04]: Now, the reason I asked this is, if you're coming up with a video game, if it's all just logistics like you say during these wars, I think recreating these wars, and then giving people the opportunity to change logistics of them,
- 45:53[SPEAKER_04]: might be a winner then.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_04]: Because that was the whole theme of the last Indiana Jones, by the way, it was a, it was a, it had it fucking sucked.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll ruin it for you unless you want to cover your ears now for a spoiler.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it was ruined in pre-production.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_04]: God, it sucked.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I was, my kid wanted to see it, so like I went and I scratched that.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to see it for the AI, because they, they deaged Harrison Ford like 35 years.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_04]: Motherfucker really looks like,
- 46:21[SPEAKER_04]: he did when he started.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_04]: So like that's when I knew AI was really going to be good one day, because they had a shit ton of money to do it in advance.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_04]: But the whole thing is getting through this time portal.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_04]: So Hitler could with this one particular war and then change the course of World War II, where the Nazis would have won.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_04]: And God damn any kept saying this date throughout the movie.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_04]: I want to say like August 21st or something like that.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_04]: There was one
- 46:48[SPEAKER_04]: that if Hitler doesn't make this mistake, according to Indiana Jones, whatever the last movie is, Germany could have won this war.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_04]: But that Hitler fucked it up.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_05]: So, yeah.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that sounds good in a fucking movie.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_04]: But I didn't, but here's the thing.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't really believe it in a movie.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_04]: So therefore, I didn't like the movie at all because I was like, well, you know, I'm with you.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_04]: Like you can't change weather and other factors and all this other shit, right?
- 47:18[SPEAKER_04]: I don't see how one maneuver could have affected that war personally.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_05]: And no, I mean, his biggest mistake was probably
- 47:35[SPEAKER_05]: It's debatable.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_05]: You could say it's either pushing into the cold air is a Russia.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_05]: from no real reason, frankly, or declared war in December, 41 on the US after Japan bombed us.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe he felt like he had to.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he was crazy at that point.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_05]: Fucking snorting meth like crazy, but that was a smart.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_05]: It wasn't smart to open up a two-front war on yourself.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_05]: Even though we were already involved through Len Lee, isn't sure like that.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah, the, like whatever political constraints were on the U.S. vis-à-vis and predicting in the European theater were completely removed at that point.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_05]: Like FDR had all the, he, he, he wanted that, by the way.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_05]: He wanted to be able to deploy to Europe and Heather gifted it to him.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_05]: That was the end of the war, basically.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_05]: It was just a matter of time at that point.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to type in World War Two time in Indiana Jones and see what it was because now I'm curious and I don't know enough about history to you guys know me before if I can 1916 nothing exists but the last one so it opens with a major sequence
- 48:58[SPEAKER_03]: and then we're going back to it.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think would have been a much, much more interesting approach to that story is instead of saying like, oh, we have to go back and make sure Hitler loses this battle or else the Nazis are going to win a World War II.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_03]: What if they found out that if Hitler like never rose to power and even worse person would come into power?
- 49:17[SPEAKER_03]: So they have to go back in time and make sure Hitler comes into power and starts World War II.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_03]: So they didn't, they definitely didn't do that.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_04]: It was a, it was a, it would have been more entry.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I agree.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_04]: But it was a German guy who was just helped that on, hey, dude, we should have won this war and we wouldn't, you know, have to deal with any of this shits.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_04]: But he made this one fatal flaw.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_04]: And so they set this clock, and then they went back and did it.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_04]: I forget what the clock was set for.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so the dial of destiny is what they called it.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_04]: And that's charactership suit, characters rather than they're known.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_04]: And then it sends them off down this fucking road here, like in this dial of destiny.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_04]: And if he gets it correct, he could have changed the course of human history based on one thing.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm with you.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think it would have mattered that one thing whatever it was.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was entering Russia or something.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I saw it in theaters once and I was all good.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_04]: He's then they end up the plane flips through a fucking, I'll really ruin it now for you.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_04]: It goes through a time portal and put some back to like, ancient Greece where the plane, a plane shows up in ancient Greece and there's fucking chips and like the Odyssey and everything and I was like, I'm all done here.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_04]: it wasn't this one supposed to set it up for like a female indian agenda yeah they had her in the movie she was weird it wasn't very good and uh... the whole thing but uh... all of this is interesting is there a fucking date in time that you think would have changed the world if we would have gone back and fixed it
- 51:09[SPEAKER_04]: So what do you mean, fixed it?
- 51:10[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I was reading, obviously we're studying up in the midterms.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_04]: You're getting ready for the big midterm showing all that other shit, right?
- 51:16[SPEAKER_04]: There's still a lot of people that are convinced.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_04]: If JFK wasn't assassinated, that it would have changed the course of American history and politics.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_04]: Do you believe in that?
- 51:29[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, that was the rise of globalism.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_05]: He wanted
- 51:38[SPEAKER_05]: He definitely wanted to maintain control of our own shit.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_05]: And Eisenhower warned about the military industrial complex getting involved in the profit motive from that.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_05]: And all that stuff, yeah, but I don't know that.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if the one thing is what it was.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_05]: Anytime you lose a strong leader, no matter what the conditions are, there's going to be fallout from it.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_05]: I just, I don't know if that was the guy.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_04]: What about them if you would have lived longer do you think things would have been gone a little smoother a little differently anything like that?
- 52:19[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe I mean there was a lot of There's a lot of A lot of forces working against reconstruction after the Civil War
- 52:35[SPEAKER_05]: the Associated Press for one.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Western Union both helped steal an election for other for B. Hayes.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_05]: So he could essentially nullify reconstruction and push Jim Crow and push us into the Jim Crow era, I guess, or continue it.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, maybe Lincoln was a pretty successful leader.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_05]: You could say, federalizing stuff, suspending habeas corpus, you know, it's some people think that Lincoln was our solar, like in Roman times.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_05]: some time before Julius Caesar, Rome got into some big trouble.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_05]: There's a lot of corruption and blah, blah, blah.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_05]: Same kind of stuff you think about now in U.S. politics.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_05]: And Sulla kind of took seized power for a while, set things right, and then the Republic went back kind of to what it was before and some people see that as a victory.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_05]: Like every now and again, you need a strong man to step in.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_05]: and do X, Y, Z, and things will go back to normal.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_05]: What it did and reality was open the floodgates.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_05]: After him, everyone that was a military commander, especially ones that were born of the purple, that is to say royal blood, went out to conquest for Rome,
- 54:09[SPEAKER_05]: They said it was for Rome, but really it was to build an army and build their fortune, and it was, you know, Pompey and Julie Seaser, and the first time Britain then eventually Seaser made his way through golf, become the richest man, one of the richest men in Rome, and parked his army outside the gates and said, hey, we need to have a conversation.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_05]: Things are getting back to solid days again.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm going to have to sell you for a while and that's what he did and then he was assassinated and then things went into the
- 54:45[SPEAKER_05]: the second triumvirate with Anthony and Augustus, who would become Augustus anyways.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_05]: And eventually Augustus got rid of one, Anthony and Cleopatra killed themselves and Egypt and he became the emperor and then the Rome, Rome became the empire after that.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, if you think about it in terms of Rome,
- 55:08[SPEAKER_05]: We look back at Lincoln and say, you know, driving people and threatening people to get rid of slavery, spending habeas corpus deporting, a sitting U.S. congressman for being against the war, all sorts of other crazy shitty dead, you're like, all right, well, it all worked out, so that's fine.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_05]: And he's an American hero and he's on the fucking, he's on the statue now.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_05]: But maybe he's America's Silla.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe that was maybe that rung to bell.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_05]: It can't be unwrung for the seizure of power now.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_05]: at, at, at, at him and see ourselves in a situation now where there's so much corruption and fucked up shit and we want to change things.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_05]: And it's appealing to us now to have some strong man come in.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_05]: The problem is one of those strong men is going to be the last strong man.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_05]: And there'll be no Republican left.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_05]: So that's something that you should be concerned about as well.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I look at that movie linking.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a big DDL fan.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, always have been always well.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's the greatest actor we've ever had, Daniel DeLuis.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_04]: who played Lincoln, and even watching that film, the film I was watching, fucking Lincoln, for Christ's sakes.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_04]: All those back room dealings that you're talking about, so you get all these people to fucking sign off on everything.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_04]: Remind me of modern day politics, and I was like, fuck man.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_04]: What if that's what set it off?
- 56:28[SPEAKER_04]: But I also don't know what politics was like before that, which you do.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_04]: Another date that was brought up to me or another thing that was brought up to me was what if the U.S. had never taken on slaves?
- 56:40[SPEAKER_04]: How much different with this country be?
- 56:42[SPEAKER_04]: If we never imported slaves from Africa?
- 56:46[SPEAKER_05]: Unlikely, the rapid expansion of wealth early on, but I don't know how much it would have affected us long-term.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_05]: You got to set those conditions too.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_05]: We don't have slavery, but do we still have endangered servitude from Coastal Europe?
- 57:04[SPEAKER_05]: If so, we probably just lean on that for longer to do the same thing.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_05]: Do we still have a quasi-slave labor from China, though they were getting paid to build the west and the railroads and stuff, probably, right, without the African slave trade, yeah, we still, the Atlantic slave trade, excuse me, yeah, we still probably do all that, so I don't know that it would have been a huge impact on us, there would be less black people here.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_04]: But a lot of people have also asked like, and this was just doing the same James book.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_04]: Also there would be, why isn't the Asian people pissed off and asking for reparations?
- 57:40[SPEAKER_05]: Because they did all worked out.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_05]: I guess.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_05]: Choices, people have choices, but yeah, I mean, there would be a civil war may not have happened the same way it did.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_05]: Because it was really like, the North had the tactical
- 58:02[SPEAKER_05]: advantage in every way, over the South, but the South had free labor, so they could compete.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_05]: And in some cases, they could, they could win economically against the North, and they shared different views on certain things.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_05]: So it wasn't just about slavery versus not slavery or the expansion of it or whatever.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_05]: It's what slavery constituted, which is the economic security
- 58:34[SPEAKER_05]: The Civil War, some people do, that it wasn't about where we didn't fight the Civil War to end slavery.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's probably true.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_05]: But we did fight it.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_05]: The South did become belligerent because they wanted something the North didn't and they felt they had the economic power to do it because of slavery.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_05]: And that's true.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_05]: So, fuck off, right?
- 58:58[SPEAKER_04]: But with the shittier class, just be white people fucking math out like what is it done?
- 59:04[SPEAKER_04]: What is today?
- 59:05[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's what you talking about and that's still there.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was going to say that exists now.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, but I mean, would it be this defined thing because you couldn't use the word racism anymore.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_04]: That, I mean, for real, like you couldn't use the word racism.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_05]: Classes, they would have used it in some form anyways.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Benjamin Franklin didn't think Germans were white.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_02]: People who used to think Polish people weren't white, yeah.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_04]: Really?
- 59:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
- 59:29[SPEAKER_02]: And Italians?
- 59:30[SPEAKER_02]: I still love the Italians.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm a Fredaphob, for sure.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_04]: I go back to that speech with Christopher Walkin and that Quentin Tarantino movie, where I'm just like,
- 59:42[SPEAKER_04]: about the Sicilians.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, boy.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's what that's an all-time or isn't it?
- 59:47[SPEAKER_04]: I just popped up my feed the other day for no reason whatsoever.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_04]: And we cannot play it here because the end word is said, what you reckon 30, 40 times in that, but it's, uh, man, it's good.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_04]: So that dates, I think, yes, mine of effect of the three, 400 years of not having slaves come
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_04]: And again, Asians, we have no issues with Asians now.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody's asking for reparations.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_02]: So I looked this up.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_02]: After completing the transcontinental railroad in 1869, Chinese workers face systemic discrimination, economic displacement, violent backlash, and historically raise your, though many adapted by moving into other labor sectors establishing ethnic enclaves are returning to China.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_04]: But nobody bitched or had a fucking thing or, you know, like it's very bizarre that time period because the dance point they were paid.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_04]: So did that have something to do with it?
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_04]: Although the money was shit.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, the slaves and the UAE get paid to.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they do.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a, you know, it's not chattel slavery.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_02]: Like what black people want there.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_04]: But I guess why is they're not the same grudge held to this day.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I can't figure out.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_05]: There's no organized effort to make people hold that grudge.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_05]: That's why.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_04]: So like the stop Asian hate thing.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that didn't last because, well, we found out it was just a white dude who actually loved Asians too much and ran a money.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_04]: And they're in shot up those jackshack places, but
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_04]: Other than that, we don't really hear about that.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_05]: No, I mean, things lead to other things a lot, like the Russian pogroms in the 1880s and the surroundings.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_05]: So they're like the Zaris Russians.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_05]: We're super anti Bolshevik, which everybody should be frankly.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_05]: And the...
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_05]: some of the people on the zar side created like when you see all these like fringe, talmud things that are like oh they want to kill all the Christians or you see like quotes even today from retarded ass rabbis like I promise you that I can find some writings from whatever religion you're part of that are fucking crazy and I can find some modern day people representing your religion that are also fucking crazy yeah but
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_05]: The protocols of the elders of Zion is one that people quote a lot.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure if What's his nuts was in the chat right now.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_05]: He would be talking about it.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_05]: It was all fake.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_05]: It's all made up.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_05]: It was it's literally propaganda designed for Russian peasants in the in the 19th century.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_05]: But there was already in
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_05]: Throughout Europe because they're a successful on-clave, and keep to themselves and they don't allow admission.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_05]: People have not like Jews for some time.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_05]: There's always been like different types of bloodlible, whatever, right?
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_05]: There's always something.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_05]: And a lot of Jews don't do themselves any favor by being annoying a shit.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_05]: either, but even back then.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_05]: And people don't like it.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, in the Christian Church for a very long time, at least in the Catholic Church.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know about for Protestants, but in the Catholic Church, um, interest.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_05]: was forbidden, like charging somebody else interest, and then in Judaism, charging interest to Jews is forbidden, but to other people, it's not.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_05]: Now, everybody charges everybody interest now, just to be clear, but a user, they call it, because people need an old sounding word to make it sound like something they don't participate in every day, but you do.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_05]: And I think it's all like a Jewish creation, it's all retarded, right?
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_05]: But the pogroms, the anti-Semitic pogroms that were a result of Xars, Russia, particularly Alexander II, trying to hold power in Russia at the time, turned into this broad conspiratorial anti-Jew thing, which is where all this modern anti-Jew shit comes from.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and it bled its way over into, uh, around 1917 into, uh, uh, Germany, which is Germany already had like a very strong, and I submit a trend.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_05]: They didn't like, uh, anybody that wasn't German actually, uh, they, they, they, they.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_05]: German are Austrian.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_05]: They would tolerate those.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody else was kind of like, you know, you're, I've just said this before Europe is the most racist place on earth.
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_05]: There's nobody, more racist than Europeans.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_04]: If they were, though, they would have gotten all the Muslims out by now.
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_05]: That's, it's globalists leadership now.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_05]: The people they don't think that way.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_05]: But,
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_05]: This all transforms into some fucking crazy conspiracy theory and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_05]: And the German radical right gets, or the, I'm sorry, the German right that's upset with all the social shit that's going on.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_05]: It's so funny.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_05]: There's so many parallels to what's going on right now.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the German right is upset with all the fucking socialist communist Bolshevik shit going on.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_05]: and some thinkers start coming over from Russia into Germany and they pick up on, well, this is really successful to drive Jews out of certain areas there, so we're going to adopt this ideology, all the conspiratorial shit, all the anti-anti- Bolshevik framework at the time, but all this, like protocols of elders' design, nonsense, and then in 1919,
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_05]: uh, uh, is when the anti-communist immigrants came from Russia to, throughout all of Europe actually, and the German language edition of the protocols came that same year.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_05]: They reprinted it because it was such effective propaganda, um, and then that's, that's basically where the Nazis came from, but that is it to say that Hitler wouldn't have still tried to, um,
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_05]: take over all of Europe.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_05]: I think he thought like Germany is the father land and we want to expand it everywhere the same way that North Korea thinks that China thinks that and fucking everybody else, right?
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_05]: They want the Ottoman Empire that I mean it's there's a lot of people, uh, Stalin thinks that or is our Stalin, uh, Putin thinks that about Russia now.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of people have felt this way about their home country and their authoritarian so they want to go take over the world or whatever the fucking it's.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_05]: What do you got to do?
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_05]: You know, but one thing leads to another does that mean it caused it.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_05]: You could say it caused it.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if, I don't know if For example, the If the Zars had maintained power and Because it's it's so fun.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_05]: You could re-turtle.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_05]: Churchill actually wrote about this.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_05]: He wrote about the uh
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_05]: There are three types of Jews he says, right?
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_05]: It's very interesting.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_05]: He wrote this in an article in some UK newspaper.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_05]: The article, if you want to look at what's called Zionism, versus Bolshevism, a struggle for the soul, the Jewish people.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_05]: And he's pointed out three types.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_05]: One, are Jews that are loyal to their country.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_05]: Whatever home country they're in, UK, America, Germany, where we're right.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_05]: Then there is Zionists who he praised for wanting to make their own country, and then were the wandering Jews, the atheists, and he named a whole list of them.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_05]: They were all Bolsheviks, and he blamed them for communism.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_05]: But they weren't like cultural or religious practicing Jews.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_05]: They were all atheists, and just happy to be of this fucking on-clave of hippies.
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_05]: That wanted to take everybody shit and stuff and because 10% of them happened to be Jewish Which that was the peak 10% was the most the largest percentage of they were ever was and their their leadership I think got maybe his highest 20 at some point, but the body politics was only 10% The Russians picked up on this in the late 19th century.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_05]: So I guess it was ours had
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_05]: been able to beat Bolshevism on its face instead of having to use racial prejudice or ethnic prejudice to do it.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe we don't see the Holocaust, but I still think World War II happens, but there was an imbalance in power.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_05]: The United States was a new center power.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_05]: right, it was a center of power.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_05]: We had a lot of resources, a lot of economic capabilities, a pretty good military and a lot of standoff we were hard to attack, and that had to be accounted for.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_05]: And I think the rest of, I think Europe, Russia and Germany, especially felt the squeeze of that.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_05]: Like, what are we going to do now?
- 1:08:59[SPEAKER_05]: We're all superpowers here, we're all world powers.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_05]: What are we going to do now is our moment to seize this and that's Germany, obviously.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_05]: been humiliated in World War I and felt like they wanted revenge which is one of the reasons just like today by the way everybody feels like white Christian men have been humiliated by the laughter by communism or whatever the fuck so they're willing to fight back no matter what it takes it's like all right that's that's something but I'm not on sympathetic to that idea but all these things all these dominoes kind of fall into place and all of a sudden you have
- 1:09:37[SPEAKER_05]: a rise of struggling power globally all at the same time.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody's trying to do this and do that and there's only only so much space and so many resources and Alliance and start the form and then you know, we weren't necessarily at war with Germany although our leadership wanted us to be and then Japan had us and
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_05]: That was because everybody saw us as a threat.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_05]: We were helping the UK, we were helping France and directly maybe Russia a little bit as well.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_02]: Is it true that we were like, kind of poking and prodding at Japan a little bit before they went and did Pearl Harbor?
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know about, I mean, yeah, sure.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_05]: We were doing, like any time you support anyone else's enemy, you're poking and prodding, right?
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_05]: To some degree, it seemed similar to what we've done to Russia the last couple years.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_05]: Sure, I mean, like the Philippines, stuff like that.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, you could, I don't know if you could make the case that warrants a full-scale attack.
- 1:10:43[SPEAKER_05]: It was obviously a mistake by Japan to do that.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_05]: But that's what they felt they had to do.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_05]: They wanted to control the Pacific.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_05]: That's the way they saw it.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_05]: They saw it from a regional Hegemani standpoint.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to control Asia.
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_05]: Germany can control Europe, but then there's America right and that's a big fucking problem for everybody It was a problem for Germany turned out to be a problem for Russia eventually as well There's definitely a problem for Japan at the time.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_05]: So how do you account for that?
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_05]: So
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I don't think there's any, the point of all that is it's convoluted is shit, and there isn't one fucking point in history that you could change that would have affected whether a war is going to happen.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_05]: Wars are a pressure valve and the tension gets too high and shit is has to explode sometimes.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_05]: individual things associated with the war.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think a Holocaust happens probably if the Russian anti-bullshivism propaganda doesn't make it to Germany.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_05]: But maybe still it does.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_04]: I look at it.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_04]: It's slavery.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_04]: If there wasn't slavery and slaves were brought over here, do we have a civil war?
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_04]: I know a lot of it was over taxes, which is overshadowed and and history books that other shit, but do we even have that if there wasn't slavery?
- 1:12:05[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's a question for somebody who knows more about the civil war than I do, but my first thought is, does the, does the South develop some other,
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_05]: type of technology or something that makes them an economic threat.
- 1:12:23[SPEAKER_05]: And you can, this is a debate to be had, I guess, for people who actually care about this.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_05]: I don't care.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_05]: But, yeah, putting the comments on Patreon was it that the North felt they were a threat or is it the South felt they, the South felt they could be a threat.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_05]: So they could do what they wanted to and shove off this power that was trying to stop them from doing what they wanted to do.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_05]: that's debatable fair.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_05]: I don't care what the answer to it is because the result is the same.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_05]: Which is the self-decided act and or at least a position to act and invite a response to it.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_05]: Would they have like textiles we're getting
- 1:13:03[SPEAKER_05]: Textiles into back are getting more popular as exports.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_05]: So the South is like, well, why is this northern government controlling me?
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_05]: We're taxing us and taxing me when I'm producing all this wealth.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_05]: Why is that allowed?
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_05]: Why should they be in control, whatever the fuck, right?
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_05]: But it wasn't, yeah, I don't know that anything would have stopped that.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_04]: But I just look at history and, you know, everything is even going on today.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_04]: Democrats had the clan that I would see didn't want to abolish slavery, then
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_04]: It was a hard switch when the 60s, probably, and then they needed the votes, and then that changed the voting system, and all that other shit, welfare, all of it, and now there's a lot more black people speaking out of, like, hey, why are we supposed to vote Democrat just because you're magically switched and told us to do this and you're paying for acts or whatever it is?
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_04]: I think that could have changed the history of our country.
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_04]: that date.
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_04]: Now, is there a video game for that?
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_04]: I want to go back to what you said coupe that everybody's doing this.
- 1:14:14[SPEAKER_04]: So I remember who it was.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_04]: It was actually the guys that used to work for us.
- 1:14:17[SPEAKER_04]: We did a lot of videos with these guys.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_04]: Rooster teeth?
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_04]: No, right before Rooster teeth.
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_04]: That's
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_04]: How I had that meeting with Rooster Teeth was these guys, I think, you know, I had almost gotten bought out.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_04]: They were super close to getting bought up by Rooster Teeth at the same time we were.
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_04]: J team music.
- 1:14:35[SPEAKER_04]: If you go to YouTube, J team music, they're here from Wilmington, and we shot a lot of videos with these guys.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_04]: We did, um,
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_04]: What was my favorite?
- 1:14:45[SPEAKER_04]: We are all Harambe.
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_04]: It was one of my favorites from these guys.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_04]: But that's what they do for a living is these music video wraps and all that other stuff.
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_04]: They are developing a video game.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_04]: So I follow them.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously online, we've been friends for, I don't know, how many years at this point, 12, 13, whatever it was, we went on the air.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_04]: As of November, it'll be 12 years.
- 1:15:06[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm my anniversaries in like a week, I think that's 13.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_04]: Trying to get that straight there, you know?
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_04]: at least before dinner comes over, but look at it this.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_04]: If you go down, if you go on their back end page, blue curl quick, you can show a preview of it.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_04]: I've got questions for you then on how to make this shit.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_04]: So go to JT Music's YouTube page.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_04]: They've got five points, one, five million subscribers.
- 1:15:38[SPEAKER_04]: And they gave me the advice back in the day, by the way,
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_04]: You can't swear, you can't say anything, you can't do anything or whatever, and that's how you build an audience for YouTube at least.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_04]: And the odd thing is, they were like, do we have like 10,000 followers in Instagram?
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_04]: That's her.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_04]: And they have five over five million subscribers and they're insane.
- 1:15:58[SPEAKER_04]: And this is all they do by the way.
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_04]: Like they're, they do very, very well off of their channel.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so go to their music page there.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_04]: Go down this shorts.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_04]: Sheetsy Music is making a video game.
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_01]: Press play on the first and fourth play.
- 1:16:20[SPEAKER_00]: The rumors are true, we're making a video game.
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's a narrative first person for platforming game where you start off exploring an old roadside dinosaur attraction.
- 1:16:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then you find out there's a whole lot more underneath.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_01]: And also, eventually you start to realize there's more dinosaurs around that aren't exactly staying extinct.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_01]: There's no combat, you have to rely on your wits.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_01]: and your ability to run, jump, climb, slide, fall, run, and more to survive.
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_01]: It looks so basic.
- 1:16:42[SPEAKER_00]: Super fucking cool, everybody.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_01]: This looks really good.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_04]: Yep, pretty much.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_04]: These guys have been ahead of the curve, though, for fucking years, right?
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_04]: What is it called, terrible lizards?
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_04]: So my question to you, Koop, is this?
- 1:16:54[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, shit, that's coming out at the end of the month.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, they work on this for a while.
- 1:16:57[SPEAKER_04]: And like I follow them, and it just, look, I'm that dumb that it took me a while to remember where I saw it, obviously, but these are our homies, and only I'm going to shout out.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of people are talking about this right now.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_04]: How are they building this right now?
- 1:17:12[SPEAKER_04]: Is this AI, is this a program?
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_04]: How are people creating their own video games because Dan will tell you, dude, Kurt Shilling lost his entire fortune, 300 million on making one video game and anyone bankrupts?
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm assuming with this one, they're probably using, it looks like it's Unreal Engine 5.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_03]: I would guess as the engine that they're using.
- 1:17:33[SPEAKER_04]: But you worked, you worked it one of these places.
- 1:17:38[SPEAKER_04]: One of the big ones, one of my best friends in high school worked at them in LA, and it was depressing.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, everybody made a shit ton of money.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_04]: Don't get me wrong.
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to make one.
- 1:17:47[SPEAKER_04]: Are you really?
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_05]: How do you do, what's the, what's the, what's the, what's the, what's the, what's the, what's the, I've no clue, but it's going to be, there's, I've been talking to somebody about making a drinking bro's video game, actually.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_05]: And I know what I was thinking about.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_05]: It was like, do you remember that old turn-based,
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_05]: T.I.
- 1:18:05[SPEAKER_03]: 85 drug dealing video game used to play in high school drug dealing Yeah, I know the one you're talking I can't remember the name of it my my brother-in-law's making a card game based off of it right now
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_05]: Drug wars is what it was called.
- 1:18:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's fucking sweet.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_05]: So it's gonna be drug wars.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_05]: It was a fucking game pull it up Blue.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, I bet it is.
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but it was like it was text.
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_05]: It was turned based on your fucking scientific calculator So when you were in calculus or whatever class you were entering.
- 1:18:35[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you're talking about those blue calculators The the big ones.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what color it was.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I remember these.
- 1:18:41[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, these goddamn things.
- 1:18:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the wild spread of drug wars.
- 1:18:44[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, look at the blue screen on there
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_05]: I used to play this.
- 1:18:48[SPEAKER_05]: I paid as soon as that game came out, I paid no attention for the rest of my high school career.
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't listen to shit.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_05]: Show me on YouTube a clip from this.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_05]: And college too, but when I went to computer college, the first time I played, I just sat on my fucking computer and played this the whole time I had to do shit.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_05]: Schools
- 1:19:13[SPEAKER_05]: you learn all this shit.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you had like your stash, your trench coat, you got fucking how much Coke heroin weed, speed, ludes, they say ludes on their fucking suits.
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_05]: Ludes.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_05]: It does say ludes.
- 1:19:27[SPEAKER_05]: Um, you could tell then who made this game.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_05]: It was somebody who was old.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_04]: Well, no, I mean, ludes were huge in the 80s.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_04]: That's kind of when it died out.
- 1:19:34[SPEAKER_05]: There's the prices and stuff like that.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_05]: And it was a whole game.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_05]: I want to make a drug dealing video game.
- 1:19:40[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's funny.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_05]: The whole thing is funny.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_02]: There is one that came out recently, actually, that called, let me find it.
- 1:19:49[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I know the one with this one's going to be stupid.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_05]: Like leisure shoot, Larry, style, stupid.
- 1:19:53[SPEAKER_04]: But how long would it take to do this?
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_04]: Like with JT music?
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_04]: If you don't care how long would it take?
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_05]: Like if you're making an MMORPG, it takes forever because you build these giant, fucking worlds.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_05]: There's all the processing power.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_05]: And you have to have thousands of beta testers go through and find all the bugs.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_05]: And try to fix them.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I walked into.
- 1:20:08[SPEAKER_04]: So when those two dark fucking floors, I mean, they had fucking black, black out things on the windows and everything else.
- 1:20:15[SPEAKER_04]: And it was just kids, dude.
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_04]: Like, oh, kids.
- 1:20:17[SPEAKER_04]: But like, 21 to 24, let's call it.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_04]: It's eaten fucking,
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_04]: Cheetos ends.
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's smell disgusting.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_04]: It looked disgusting.
- 1:20:26[SPEAKER_04]: Everything that you could possibly think of had, it was just that disgusting.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_04]: They had one screen in front of them.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_04]: You couldn't tell if it was lighter day outside, and they would just play, and they would be like, they would raise their hand.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_04]: And they would be like bug, and they would be like, okay, the character got stuck in the wall over here.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_05]: What was that one video game where they beat you beat prostitutes to death?
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_05]: Grand Theft Auto?
- 1:20:46[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_05]: Another one that this was the whole game was that.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_05]: Just beat prostitutes to death?
- 1:20:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you just ran around fucking shit up.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_05]: I can't remember what's going on.
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_04]: And if it's that easy, I would call it Pimp Hand.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_05]: They've banded somewhere.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_05]: They banded the U.S., I can't remember how long you see.
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_05]: I can't think of a game where you'd just beat up prostitutes.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_05]: Man, I know Postal Postal Postal Postal Postal?
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_03]: No, that's not banned.
- 1:21:10[SPEAKER_03]: They just came up with Postal 3.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Postal Postal 2 was banned in the US for a long time.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_05]: Or not, not US in the UK.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:21:18[SPEAKER_05]: Well, everything's banned in the UK.
- 1:21:20[SPEAKER_05]: No, this was like back in the 90s and 2000s.
- 1:21:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, really the first postal game got got banned also.
- 1:21:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, postal season was banned.
- 1:21:28[SPEAKER_05]: I think postal two came out like 2006 or something and really you just ran around going postal He's fuck shit up.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_03]: There's a point to the game at all Actually you
- 1:21:38[SPEAKER_03]: Ross, you worked with somebody who made the movie adaptation.
- 1:21:41[SPEAKER_03]: Oofable, that a movie adaptation, a postal.
- 1:21:43[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, really?
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, sure, it was terrible then.
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_04]: I would say that it's still promised to rack serve ever worked for my life.
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's probably his best movie.
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_03]: It's way too long like he should have cut it off at like 60 minutes.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it goes 90.
- 1:21:56[SPEAKER_03]: But it's the only thing he's brilliant, by the way.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_03]: Does he, there's no, yes.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_03]: There's no like...
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_04]: Oh boy, he tried to tell us there was microphones hidden in trees and I was like that's not a thing man Like I'm not where.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but that's really really fucking funny So if it's this easy is this the next world then I wouldn't say it's easy, but I mean I've never heard of people doing it on the road once once like I guess
- 1:22:28[SPEAKER_04]: It's medieval thing looks dope as shit, and that was independent, right?
- 1:22:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:22:31[SPEAKER_04]: That one's been in the works for.
- 1:22:32[SPEAKER_04]: In the rear.
- 1:22:33[SPEAKER_05]: Here's what it, here's what needs to happen.
- 1:22:35[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody's going to, one, one, anthropagor or open AR somebody is going to dedicate one of their LLM builds to this type of stuff on real five is going to get plugged into it, and it's going to, there's going to be stuff produced that helps you make a video game whenever you want.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_04]: You think somebody will break out like an independent film or like a a Blair witch project.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_05]: It might be one or two, but that shit gets old fast.
- 1:23:04[SPEAKER_05]: The problem with it is like if you are starting, let's say you had a billion dollars and you want to start any company.
- 1:23:11[SPEAKER_05]: No, no other restrictions on you, you can do any idea you want.
- 1:23:14[SPEAKER_05]: The idea you would want to do is one that nobody else can or has thought of yet.
- 1:23:18[SPEAKER_05]: and the problem that you're facing is called market saturation.
- 1:23:23[SPEAKER_05]: If all of a sudden there's a way to make, like nobody, there's no, how many hit musicians are there because of the music AI, zero, and there's not going to be any.
- 1:23:33[SPEAKER_05]: because anybody can do it.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's the point.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_05]: There's nothing special about it.
- 1:23:38[SPEAKER_05]: So the only people that could do that would be successful with it, or people that have an audience, and use something, tailor something, custom to their audience, like a Jürgenbro's video game, would do well because people would play it because it's fucking stupid.
- 1:23:51[SPEAKER_05]: You could just run around and feed your dick and flenders, feed Jared Hockdogs all day, or something.
- 1:23:56[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, or whatever, right?
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, maybe it's like a drinker-brows murder mystery, where you had, like, it's, it's clue, but where the characters, you have to figure out which one of us killed somebody or some shit like that, that would be funny.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, but it's, it would have to be something bespoke like that, so people would actually give a shit.
- 1:24:13[SPEAKER_05]: Otherwise, who cares?
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you've already seen it.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_05]: You're right, and it isn't for your fan base to present.
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_05]: There are no famous AI artists, there are no famous AI musicians, hasn't happened.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_05]: And you could definitely make it happen.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_05]: You could make cool enough shit.
- 1:24:28[SPEAKER_04]: And they're trying.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_04]: Hollywood's trying right now.
- 1:24:30[SPEAKER_04]: This Tilly Norwood.
- 1:24:31[SPEAKER_04]: And it still hasn't clicked.
- 1:24:33[SPEAKER_04]: It's not going to, nobody knows.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_04]: No, and the other part of this is like with five our buddies, I was talking about one in the restroom,
- 1:24:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they're going to be successful at it because they've got such a massive audience on YouTube Did we watch Tilly Norwood's big Chinese on here?
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:04[SPEAKER_04]: She's got all this other shit, but she belongs to a company.
- 1:25:08[SPEAKER_04]: This company created her, and then they're trying to insert her into movies.
- 1:25:12[SPEAKER_04]: And to be honest, it's not the most terrible idea, because right now you do these things called local hires, where you just hire people that are local, because you want to fly them out, wherever it is.
- 1:25:21[SPEAKER_04]: And they're always the worst actor in every fucking thing you've ever seen.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_04]: So if you ever see a terrible actor in something like an RJ Decker,
- 1:25:30[SPEAKER_04]: Just know it was like a bar tender down the street whose dream it was to be an act or any finally got like three lines and something but um but yeah that's what they're trying to replace those guys with with a tilling nor would essentially.
- 1:25:41[SPEAKER_04]: where they're like, hey, we just have our actors act against these people.
- 1:25:46[SPEAKER_05]: So they're trying to save 150 bucks for us, for a fucking scale day actor.
- 1:25:53[SPEAKER_04]: More than that, because they're looking at the turnaround time for lighting grips all that other shit where you can knock it down in half.
- 1:26:00[SPEAKER_04]: And they're already doing it right now of lighting and all that other shit.
- 1:26:03[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm not using this story on the on the show before, but I can tell you what show it is now because it's out.
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_04]: the agency with Michael Fassbender, which people love.
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's ratings are through the roof and everything else.
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_04]: They are using AI lighting for everything, and they're only working eight hour days, which on a film set is impossible.
- 1:26:23[SPEAKER_04]: The only other person I've heard that is Clint Eastwood, but only because the only letters actors do two takes.
- 1:26:29[SPEAKER_04]: So that's the difference of it.
- 1:26:31[SPEAKER_04]: But the agency crushes.
- 1:26:33[SPEAKER_04]: It's Richard Geer.
- 1:26:35[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, I don't know if they're paying the durable or getting an animal handle or for that, but, um, uncredited.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:26:42[SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, Michael Fassbender, uh, Jeffrey Wright is in it.
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's the best of the best in this fucking thing.
- 1:26:49[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but they are using a lot of AI to cut down on hours.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what's saving them production money.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if it cuts down on the lighting time, I'm fine with that, because I worked as a sound department head and a first assistant director and the part that I was always the most frustrated one.
- 1:27:04[SPEAKER_03]: How fucking long the DPs take for their setup?
- 1:27:06[SPEAKER_03]: God damn it, dude.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_04]: I would just hit my goddamn time to sit in my fucking trailer all day and wardrobe and make up and just be pissed.
- 1:27:13[SPEAKER_03]: That was also the one the one department on every set that never got yelled at for going over time like they could take as long as they want anybody else takes a little bit too long the director flips out because you if they they walk your fuck yeah, and that's why I always had to put up with it when I was just like fuck you guys
- 1:27:29[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but I digress.
- 1:27:30[SPEAKER_04]: It's a fun world that we're getting into and I like these debates and I think if you come up with video games That are more in this fashion like we were talking about at the top of the show Yeah, you could be successful really fucking quickly.
- 1:27:43[SPEAKER_04]: I just wonder before we get out of here is could you do?
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_04]: 500 retards versus a fucking, you know
- 1:27:52[SPEAKER_04]: Incredible Hulk or something like that like the video game.
- 1:27:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's nothing.
- 1:27:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, it's called totally accurate battles simulator Are you kidding?
- 1:28:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, they all up down syndrome or something do anything versus anything.
- 1:28:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, are you kidding?
- 1:28:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I came rocks actually So they don't stop you at all
- 1:28:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, we'll pull up a clip up before you, because I mean, you can't really, my mind is fucking blown.
- 1:28:13[SPEAKER_05]: If you don't like 50 Apache helicopters versus some bullshit, like a millionaire army or something, I don't remember.
- 1:28:20[SPEAKER_05]: They, they've been so many crazy.
- 1:28:22[SPEAKER_04]: Is this a YouTube channel or an actual video?
- 1:28:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's a natural video game, but I've seen like, show me a clip.
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's up of the retards.
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_03]: 50 Jedi versus 10,000 Chuck Light Ells and stuff.
- 1:28:33[UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha, really?
- 1:28:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, people on YouTube will make videos with the game and good do something crazy with it.
- 1:28:40[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:28:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, now this could stand a lot of updates, obviously.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_05]: The problem is like a game engine usually have a finite amount of shapes and characters and this is anything at any time.
- 1:28:51[SPEAKER_05]: So it uses what's effectively 64-bit.
- 1:28:55[SPEAKER_05]: They're like flat models.
- 1:28:56[SPEAKER_05]: You know what's weird though?
- 1:28:57[SPEAKER_04]: Those kids are playing it, man.
- 1:28:58[SPEAKER_04]: Are you your kids playing it?
- 1:29:00[SPEAKER_04]: My kids are playing those four bit bullshit things on a Minecraft.
- 1:29:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I think that's where it started where they're like hey Do the advanced shit is cool, but then they always go back to that four-bit shit.
- 1:29:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's weird I mean, I've had a passion for video games ever since I was a kid that I still continues to the stakes Like I said, that's what I was doing before I got into podcasting and one thing that I've always believed is the graphics have very very little effect on a game If you need really really good graphics to sell a game, then you're not making a very good game.
- 1:29:27[SPEAKER_03]: You're making
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_03]: experience, which is okay, but if it requires really, really impressive visuals, the gameplay itself probably isn't that great.
- 1:29:36[SPEAKER_03]: You can have visuals as like an extra layer to improve the gameplay.
- 1:29:41[SPEAKER_03]: But if you're really relying on those visuals, then you can go fuck yourself.
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_02]: Big companies tend to use graphics as a crutch, and whereas smaller companies will, will you do less fidelity, but the mechanics will be really well tuned in and much better.
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's what we're talking about.
- 1:30:00[SPEAKER_04]: Here was my example, is college 2026 had come out.
- 1:30:05[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to use Jeremiah Smith, because he was the highest rated player in the game.
- 1:30:08[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, I can finally beat you guys.
- 1:30:10[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just going to throw it at Jeremiah Smith, the whole fucking game, right?
- 1:30:13[SPEAKER_04]: And we played it for a little bit and it was cool.
- 1:30:15[SPEAKER_04]: It was expensive as shit, right?
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_04]: And then after about three weeks, it died.
- 1:30:20[SPEAKER_04]: And my eight-year-old was just playing tech mobile.
- 1:30:22[SPEAKER_04]: Like, all those little four-bit games, again, with his same teams and shit.
- 1:30:27[SPEAKER_04]: It was like an advanced version of that.
- 1:30:29[SPEAKER_04]: But the same movements, they're all block characters, like Minecraft and all that other shit.
- 1:30:33[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like,
- 1:30:35[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, this is fucking $4 versus 60, like what the fuck, bro?
- 1:30:41[SPEAKER_03]: If you go through and you look at the, like the top selling titles on steam and things like that, the games that actually make the most money.
- 1:30:47[SPEAKER_03]: If you're looking at the initial cost versus the amount of money made, the indie games are, or leaps and bounds.
- 1:30:53[SPEAKER_03]: I had to triple a titles and even when it comes to triple a titles, I all probably try one out when it,
- 1:30:58[SPEAKER_03]: When it first comes out, but all of that for maybe a week, the indie titles are the ones that all spend years and years playing.
- 1:31:03[SPEAKER_03]: That's so wild, man.
- 1:31:05[SPEAKER_04]: Because I just say kids are like that.
- 1:31:06[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't say the indie titles make more than the trip away titles.
- 1:31:09[SPEAKER_02]: What I'm talking about is not financially.
- 1:31:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's meant compared to the old.
- 1:31:13[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:31:13[SPEAKER_04]: Got your ROI.
- 1:31:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:31:15[SPEAKER_04]: That's interesting.
- 1:31:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:31:16[SPEAKER_04]: I guess when GTA drops, it's going to make $2 billion opening day.
- 1:31:20[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's higher than any fucking movie you could ever make in Hollywood.
- 1:31:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:31:26[SPEAKER_04]: That sounds true.
- 1:31:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_04]: Why what what are you talking about?
- 1:31:30[SPEAKER_05]: Um, well, because you're measuring it in a wrong way.
- 1:31:32[SPEAKER_05]: If it was, if it was, if you could charge full price out to stream on day one, uh, Avengers, uh, the new Avengers movie would do that.
- 1:31:41[SPEAKER_05]: That, that movie is going to make probably two billion, I think.
- 1:31:44[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 1:31:45[SPEAKER_05]: I think I think it will for sure, but it, but you can't be, I mean, you can't compare it because it's a different distribution model.
- 1:31:50[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's going to make the problem is it will,
- 1:31:54[SPEAKER_05]: that'll cut off at some point and I don't know what the tiered upsells are going to be I'm probably the same as GTA five.
- 1:32:00[SPEAKER_05]: It's it's got to know about that's where they make all their money.
- 1:32:02[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't what how did they do that in GTA five I didn't really get it in GTA five they sell I mean I never I've never bought micro transactions or anything but they sell shark cards which is like a you can buy like a $60 card and then like you can get stuff it's for GTA online that's where all the money comes from and so
- 1:32:21[SPEAKER_02]: This game is going to be like 70 bucks right and then they're probably going to come out with an online version and then they're going to make bank from the online version and that's really where they're going to cash in.
- 1:32:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, something they did with GTA five, they're just going to support the online version for the next 10 years.
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and most of these games are or the physical copies gone right in Sony and lemonade that shit.
- 1:32:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're having a big battle over whether and not they're going to release a physical copy.
- 1:32:45[SPEAKER_03]: People are very, very pissed.
