- 0:01Mark chapter 12. Let us pray.
- 0:05Oh Heavenly Father. Here we are again.
- 0:08Lord, we're coming. We desire a touch, Lord.
- 0:12We desire for you to teach us. Holy Spirit, I get out of the
- 0:15way. It's your words.
- 0:17It's your thoughts. It's your time, Lord.
- 0:20It's all about you. King Jesus, we love you.
- 0:24It's just that name. Yes, Lord, we love you so much.
- 0:29Heal us today. Heal all of our infirmities.
- 0:33Lord, I pray you'll clear the air today.
- 0:35God, I pray for our families today.
- 0:38Lord, I pray for this wicked and perverse generation today.
- 0:42God, bring them into the fold. Lord, give them the revelation
- 0:46of Jesus Christ. Lord, give them the clarity of
- 0:50prophecy. God, I pray in the name of Jesus
- 0:53that you, Lord, will come and have your will and have your
- 0:56wait. It'll always be about you.
- 0:59So we love you. We get out of the way.
- 1:01Holy Spirit, you teach us in Jesus name we pray, Amen.
- 1:07Let's start in verse one. And he began to speak unto them
- 1:13by parables. A certain man planted a
- 1:16vineyard. He set a hedge about it, and he
- 1:20dug a place for the wine fat and built a tower and let it out to
- 1:24husbandmen and went into a far country.
- 1:28So here Israel would have very much seen themselves as this
- 1:35vineyard from the passages over in Isaiah here we're going to
- 1:39see that this certain man is God.
- 1:44The vineyard here is the earth, and he dug a hedge about it.
- 1:51This would have been Israel. He built the tower in it.
- 1:55This was his chosen people there and then he went into a far
- 2:00country. God is in heaven, and Jesus here
- 2:03is making sure that those who want to enter in to the
- 2:09understanding of this parable that's being cast along here
- 2:13right next to their understanding of how the world
- 2:17works. And the time that they were in
- 2:20Jesus here was inviting them to a deeper revelation, a deeper
- 2:26understanding of why he is here. And they would have been hanging
- 2:31on every single one of His words because they were trying to
- 2:36indict him. They were trying to cause Him to
- 2:40look as if he was guilty. But we know that Jesus was
- 2:44sinless and guiltless, friends, and He died for our sins just so
- 2:49you and I could make it there. Verse 2.
- 2:53And at the season he sent to the husband men a servant that he
- 2:57might receive from the husbandmen the fruit of the
- 3:00vineyard. This was a common practice at
- 3:02the time for land owners. This was before the days of
- 3:07deeds and before the days of the legal system that you and I are
- 3:13privileged to. And here this, this man was
- 3:21sending the husband to the husbandmen, a servant for the
- 3:26fruit, and that would have proved that he still had
- 3:28ownership of it. And if you take it and look at
- 3:32it from what Jesus is trying to tell them, he desires their
- 3:37fruit, friends. He desires for them to do the
- 3:40will of God, friends. And here what are these wicked
- 3:46husbandmen? Do they see the servants coming?
- 3:50These would have been the servants, would have been the
- 3:52prophets, by the way, three. And they caught him and beat him
- 3:59and sent him away empty. So every time that God sent a
- 4:02server, every time that God sent a prophet into the land to try
- 4:07to get a hold of those people, to try to get them to see the
- 4:12air of their ways, what did they do?
- 4:15They beat them and stoned them and killed them and cast them
- 4:18into prison. And imagine this certain man who
- 4:23had planted the vineyard, God Almighty, and he's sending his
- 4:27servants into the vineyard, which is Israel, and he is
- 4:32wanting fruit, which is for them to do the will of God.
- 4:37And then what happens? Every single time they kill the
- 4:42prophets of old, they stone the prophets of old for.
- 4:47And again he sent unto them another servant, and at him they
- 4:52cast stones, wounded him in the head, sent him away shamefully
- 4:57handled. So here you can see all
- 5:00throughout the Old Testament how many times God sent true
- 5:05prophets to speak on his behalf and the people wanted to only
- 5:11listen to the false prophets that were promising prosperity.
- 5:15And there was no repentance. There was no turning away from
- 5:21their sinful behavior. There was none of it.
- 5:25And it's no different for us and for our day and for our our.
- 5:29There's a lot of pastors who are Co signing on people's sins and
- 5:35they are making their converts twice the sons of hell that they
- 5:42themselves are. And you can see it all around us
- 5:46friends. 5 And again he sent another, and him they killed,
- 5:52and many others, beating some and killing some. 6 Having yet
- 5:57therefore one Son, his well beloved, he sent him also last
- 6:04unto them, saying, They will reverence my Son.
- 6:07Of course Jesus is talking about himself here.
- 6:10Of course Jesus is talking about God's only begotten Son, and
- 6:15he's also predicting that he is going to be put to death here.
- 6:22Jesus is predicting his own murder by the hands of his own
- 6:29people here in Israel. 7 But those husbandmen said among
- 6:36themselves, This is the air. Come, let us kill him, and the
- 6:41inheritance shall be ours. How pathetic.
- 6:44They chose the world over heaven.
- 6:47They chose this little menial life and their little Playhouse
- 6:53there in Israel over God and his ultimate plan.
- 6:58But it is for your benefit, friend.
- 7:01It's a ultimate plan of God's. He can use it without excusing
- 7:06it. And their disobedience led to
- 7:10you and LED to me coming into the fold, friends.
- 7:15And it's all a marvelous plan, and we'll see it all played out
- 7:19here. 8 And they took him and killed him, and cast him out of
- 7:25the vineyard. 9 What shall therefore the Lord of the
- 7:29vineyard do? He will come and destroy the
- 7:34husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
- 7:39Here you can see that all of these religious leaders, they
- 7:45were telling on themselves, they were letting Jesus know that
- 7:53they knew they were guilty. They knew that he spoke this
- 7:57against them. What shall God do unto all of
- 8:04the religious leaders who rejected Jesus and at the hands
- 8:08of Pontius Pilate murdered their own Messiah?
- 8:12What will they do? Well, he will come and destroy
- 8:15them and will give the vineyard unto others.
- 8:17That's you and me, friends. That's the church, friends. 10
- 8:24And have you not read the scripture, that the stone which
- 8:27the builders rejected has become the head of the corner?
- 8:3111 This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
- 8:39Write it down, mark it, underline it, highlight it.
- 8:43This is marvelous in God's eyes. They rejected the cornerstone,
- 8:49and it was for your benefit. Friends, praise God.
- 8:53Hallelujah that God's mind is so much greater than our minds.
- 8:58His ways are higher than our ways.
- 9:02And God used their disobedience for you and for me to come into
- 9:09the fold and define salvation. And He is going to reveal to
- 9:15them in the Tribulation that Jesus is the Messiah and that
- 9:21they need not wait for any more. They need not wait for another
- 9:27that Jesus has already dawned on the scene and came and radically
- 9:31changed the landscape of the whole world, and we're still
- 9:35talking about Him today. It's marvelous in our eyes. 12
- 9:41And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people, for
- 9:45they knew that he had spoken the parable against them, and they
- 9:52left him and went their way. So much going on in this one
- 9:57little verse. Here we can see that all of the
- 10:01Pharisees and the Sadducees and the Sanhedrin and the Herodians
- 10:06here, they were trying to lay hold of Him, but they had the
- 10:09fear of man on them. Break the fear of man off of you
- 10:13today, friends. Fear God and watch everything
- 10:16else bow. They knew that He had spoken it
- 10:21against them. They came along, they cast along
- 10:24this parable, they went aside, and they went in the door, and
- 10:28they had in their minds, and they were intrigued, and they
- 10:32were engaged. And they saw that He had spoken
- 10:36against them, that they were the wicked husband men, and they had
- 10:41killed all the servants, and that God desired fruit, and they
- 10:46only gave Him their empty leftovers. 13 And they send unto
- 10:55him a certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians to catch
- 10:58him in his words. They're teaming up against them.
- 11:02These two sects that would never have joined forces are joined
- 11:06forces against the Son of God. How pathetic.
- 11:11But we need to give them grace. We miss it all the time.
- 11:14God's doing marvelous things all around us all the time, and we
- 11:18continuously keep choosing this world over God. 14 And when they
- 11:25were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that you're
- 11:30true, and you care for no man, that you regard not the person
- 11:35of man, but teach the way of God in truth.
- 11:40Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?
- 11:43They're trying to trick him by flattery.
- 11:46They're coming in and saying, Oh, we know that you're true,
- 11:49and you don't really care about what people say about you.
- 11:53You're no respecter of position that you see everybody on an
- 11:58equal playing field. Aren't you thankful that that's
- 12:01the way that God sees you? He doesn't see all the sins.
- 12:05All he sees is the blood of Jesus Christ covering you.
- 12:10He doesn't see all of the times that you messed up.
- 12:14All He sees is the blood of Jesus Christ covering you.
- 12:18And for those who have not yet come into the fold, those who
- 12:22are not yet covered in the blood of Jesus Christ, He doesn't see
- 12:26all of your righteousness. He doesn't see all of the good
- 12:31works that you've been doing. He doesn't see all of the times
- 12:35that you have tried to please Him.
- 12:40All He sees is the sin that is on you.
- 12:43You must be covered in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 12:47Aren't you thankful that it is not by your works that you get
- 12:50in? It's only by the blood of Jesus
- 12:54Christ. They're trying to trap him.
- 12:59And no matter how he answers this question, he's going to be
- 13:06wrong. If he sides with Caesar, he'll
- 13:11he will be showing that he's turned his back on his own
- 13:15people like the Herodians. But if he sides with the Jews
- 13:20and he's sympathetic with their 'cause he will be a traitor and
- 13:25he will be marked as trying to usurp Caesar's authority.
- 13:30So either way, here they're using this flattery to try to
- 13:36lessen his guard and to see if they can get him by pumping his
- 13:42head up. But here comes Jesus.
- 13:47Jesus knows all their tricks. He is God, He is Incarnate, He
- 13:51knows everything. And this is such a wonderful
- 13:56verse that is lived through the ages, and we need to lock in and
- 14:01pay attention to what Jesus is about to say. 15 Shall we give
- 14:06or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy,
- 14:12said unto them, Why tempt you me?
- 14:18Bring me a penny, that I may see it.
- 14:21He says, Why are you trying to tempt me?
- 14:23He knew that they were duplicious in their approach. 16
- 14:28And they brought it. And he said unto them, Whose is
- 14:32this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's
- 14:4017 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Render to Caesar the
- 14:45things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are gods.
- 14:49And they marveled at him. Of course they marveled at him.
- 14:53He's God. He's all knowing.
- 14:57He knew their intentions. He knows their very thoughts.
- 15:02Of course they marveled at him. Give unto Caesar what is Caesar,
- 15:06and give to God what is God's. You owe God your very life as a
- 15:11living sacrifice. You owe God your very next
- 15:17breath. And yes, we live in the world,
- 15:20but we're not of the world. We're just pilgrims passing
- 15:23through a strange land. 18 Then come unto him the Sadducees,
- 15:30which say There is no resurrection.
- 15:33And they asked him, saying, 19 Master Moses wrote unto us, If a
- 15:40man's brother died, and leaves his wife behind him, and leave
- 15:44no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise
- 15:48up seed unto his brother. 20 Now there were seven brothers, and
- 15:53the first took a wife and dying left no seed. 21 and the second
- 15:58took her and died. Neither left he any seed, and
- 16:03the 3rd likewise. 22 And the seven had her, and left no seed.
- 16:10Last of all the woman died also. 23 In the resurrection,
- 16:16therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall be of them?
- 16:23For the seven had her to wife here they're asking a ridiculous
- 16:29question. They do not even believe in the
- 16:31resurrection and then they tie it in and say in the
- 16:34resurrection. And this was their very silly
- 16:38way of trying to discount that there was any afterlife.
- 16:42They were the ones, the Sadducees were the ones, they
- 16:47were very sympathetic with the Roman government.
- 16:50They like to have their cake and eat it too.
- 16:53They had the lineage of Abraham, but they did not even believe in
- 16:57angels, friends. And here they're coming to Jesus
- 17:01and they're wanting to trap him and they're wanting to ask him
- 17:04these silly questions that they've already became hostile
- 17:08towards God. And that is no different for us
- 17:11today. Friends, there are many people
- 17:14who have already made a love decision for money, made a love
- 17:17decision for the pleasures of this world, and they're hostile
- 17:21towards God. And they will not put up with
- 17:23sound doctrine. They will not put up with the
- 17:29sound counsel that there is one true living God, the God of
- 17:36Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They will not put up with the
- 17:40Bible being the complete authority that has all authority
- 17:47to govern our lives. Friends, nothing added and
- 17:51nothing subtracted. Only the 66 books found within
- 17:57the Canon. Friends, from Genesis all the
- 18:01way to Revelation. They will not put up with that,
- 18:04Friends. They want things that tickle
- 18:07their ears. They only want to hear new
- 18:09doctrine, and it is no new doctrine that is given.
- 18:13It is only Jesus Christ and Jesus crucified. 24 Jesus
- 18:23answering said unto them, Do you not therefore air, because you
- 18:30do not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
- 18:36Jesus here is saying, do you even read the Bible?
- 18:40And here they were hanging on to the Pentateuch, they were
- 18:44hanging on to the words of Moses.
- 18:47And here Jesus is going to meet them right where they're at.
- 18:53He's going to show them how they have erred grievously. 25 For
- 19:00when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are
- 19:06given in marriage, but are as the angels which are in heaven.
- 19:11So here verse 25 is a wonderful verse that shows us there is no
- 19:16need for procreation in heaven. The people that are there are
- 19:20the people that are going to be there.
- 19:22There's no need for us to be married.
- 19:27It is going to be better than you could ever imagine any
- 19:33earthly relationship here, friends.
- 19:37And when you really dial it in, it all makes sense because if
- 19:41you're a child now, you'll soon be a parent.
- 19:45And if you're a parent now, you will soon be a grandparent.
- 19:48But you were once a child in relationship to your parents.
- 19:53And so in heaven there is this beautiful reality that there is
- 20:03no need for marriage. There is no need.
- 20:07That we will be eternal beings. We will know each other,
- 20:12friends. It will be relational friends.
- 20:16And Jesus knows what he's talking about.
- 20:19And we would do well to believe these words and not try to mix
- 20:24them up and not try to put our own understanding on it.
- 20:28Jesus tells us what it's going to be like, friends, and he
- 20:32makes it as plain as day. 26 And it's touching the dead that they
- 20:40rise. Have you not read in the book of
- 20:43Moses how in the Bush God spoken to him, saying, I am the God of
- 20:49Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
- 20:5427 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living.
- 20:58You therefore do greatly err. And friends, we greatly err
- 21:05whenever we don't believe the authority of God's word.
- 21:10We greatly air whenever we are blasphemous towards the Holy
- 21:15Spirit. We greatly air whenever we turn
- 21:19our backs on God And hear these silly Sadducees.
- 21:25They didn't even believe in the resurrection and they were
- 21:27trying to trap Jesus with all of their silly thoughts about the
- 21:32resurrection and how Moses had said that people should continue
- 21:39on the lineage which would have been for the heritage of Israel
- 21:43to strengthen that nation. And here they were using Moses's
- 21:47words against his his own self. And they were trying to trap God
- 21:52Incarnate and they could never do that.
- 21:55Jesus already knows what it is going to be like.
- 21:58He went to prepare a place for us friends and he knows what
- 22:01he's talking about and he's telling us that there is no
- 22:04marriage in heaven. There's no need for marriage in
- 22:06heaven. It will be much better than any
- 22:09relationship down here on this earth.
- 22:11It'll be wonderful and beautiful.
- 22:14It'll be magnificent and holy. And here he's showing the
- 22:19Sadducees that they greatly do air, that God is the God of the
- 22:24living. To God, no one ever really dies,
- 22:27friends. Everyone is going to live
- 22:30forever somewhere. And there are only two choices.
- 22:33There's heaven and there's hell. And no one, if they ever even
- 22:39could fathom what hell was like. No one would ever want to go
- 22:45there. It is torment where the worm
- 22:48never dies and the fires never go out. 28 And one of the
- 22:54scribes came, and having heard them, reasoning together, and
- 22:59perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, which is
- 23:03the first commandment of all. So here this is a genuine
- 23:08approach. He saw that Jesus was wiser than
- 23:13any wise man, that Jesus was all of the embodiment of the Godhead
- 23:19all in one. And he's asking him which is the
- 23:23greatest of all the commandments. 29 And Jesus
- 23:25answered him, The first of all the commandments is here, O
- 23:29Israel, the Lord our God is 1 Lord. 30 And you shall love the
- 23:35Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,
- 23:40and with all your mind, and with all, all your strength.
- 23:43This is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like,
- 23:47namely, this You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- 23:51There is none other commandment greater than these.
- 23:55Love the Lord your God with all your heart, your mind, your
- 23:59strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.
- 24:03Within these two everything is wrapped up.
- 24:06All the law and the prophets are wrapped up in these two.
- 24:09This is what the Lord desires from us, is to serve him and him
- 24:15alone, and have no other lowercase G gods.
- 24:20Every other God is an idol, but serve the God of Abraham, Isaac,
- 24:25and Jacob, and love our neighbors as ourselves.
- 24:30Everything is wrapped up in those 232.
- 24:34And the scribe said unto him, Well, master, that you have said
- 24:39the truth, but there is one God, and there is none other but he.
- 24:4533 And to love him with all your heart and with all your
- 24:49understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength,
- 24:53and to love your neighbor as yourself is more than all whole
- 24:59burnt offerings and sacrifices. So here he's just putting his
- 25:03stamp of approval on Jesus's words.
- 25:06Here he has been studying the scriptures, and he knows the
- 25:10scriptures, the scribe, but Jesus Christ is the scripture.
- 25:15The Word became flesh friends. Jesus is showing him that he's
- 25:21not far from the Kingdom. 34 And when Jesus saw that, he answered
- 25:25discreetly, he said unto him, You are not far from the Kingdom
- 25:30of God. And no man after that dared
- 25:34asked him any question. So there was the finality of all
- 25:39of their silly games they were trying to play with Jesus, to
- 25:43trap him over money and over his authority and over his
- 25:50allegiance, and who he was. And after this they dared not
- 25:55ask him any question. They were hostile towards him.
- 25:5935 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple,
- 26:05how save the scribes, that Christ is the son of David. 36
- 26:10For David himself said, By the Holy Ghost, the Lord said to my
- 26:15Lord, sit you on my right hand, until I make your enemies your
- 26:20footstool. So here now he has a blank check
- 26:27carte blanche in the temple Jesus.
- 26:31He silenced all of his enemies, He silenced all of the
- 26:37opposition, and now he has center stage to speak openly
- 26:43without being disrupted. He had silenced them, and now
- 26:48he's going to dial in and he's going to show us what we need to
- 26:52be fixated upon. And he wants them to answer the
- 26:58question, Why do the scribes say that Christ is the son of David?
- 27:04And then he goes on to say that David himself calls him, calls
- 27:08the Christ Lord. 37 David therefore himself calls him
- 27:13Lord, and how is he then his Son?
- 27:19So they were thinking that the Messiah was coming out of David,
- 27:26but then David calls him his Lord, so he was before David.
- 27:34So Jesus is asking this enigmatic question and they must
- 27:41give an answer. And how you answer this question
- 27:44is paramount. Friends.
- 27:46Is he just a biblical scholar, teacher, a good wise counselor?
- 27:52Or is he God? Is he the great I am?
- 27:59Is he eternal? Is he the only uncreated?
- 28:06Is he outside of time? And you need to ask yourself
- 28:10that question. And the common people heard him
- 28:15gladly. We need to hear him gladly,
- 28:17friends. 38 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of
- 28:23the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love
- 28:29salutations in the marketplaces, 39 and the chief seats in the
- 28:34synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feast, 40 which devour
- 28:39widows houses, and for a pretense make long prayers.
- 28:44These shall receive greater damnation.
- 28:47There's a loaded verse here. 38 and 39 and 40.
- 28:51We need to see that this is just outward religion.
- 28:56This is just a bunch of show, this is a bunch of hoopla, and
- 29:01God sees through it. He is not a respecter of the
- 29:05suit and ties. God sees into your inward
- 29:10motives. He sees all of the reasons that
- 29:15you're doing what you're doing. He knows it and he will bring it
- 29:20into the light, friends. And he shows that there are
- 29:23greater levels of damnation in hell.
- 29:28And perhaps that is a surprise to some, but it is Jesus's words
- 29:36to say that these people who are using religion to devour widows
- 29:42houses and they're stealing every last penny that these
- 29:47people owe. And they're promising them all
- 29:50of these prosperity gospel blessings that they could never
- 29:56deliver upon because they are the children of hell.
- 30:00And they're making their converts twice the children of
- 30:03hell that they are. And that is why they will
- 30:05receive greater damnation is because they used the word of
- 30:09God. They used religion, they used
- 30:13the church to get their way and to take and take and take even
- 30:21the little bit that people had to live on.
- 30:25And they took advantage of the people who were earnest in their
- 30:33approach to God. And God saw it all.
- 30:37And he sees it all, friends, those that get trapped in cults.
- 30:43He sees it all, friends, and This is why it's so important
- 30:50for us to study the Word of God for ourselves, so we can
- 30:53safeguard ourselves against people who try to lead us
- 30:57astray. And the ones that are using
- 31:02God's Word to lead people astray will receive a greater
- 31:07damnation. 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld
- 31:15how the people cast money into the treasury, and many that were
- 31:20rich cast in much. So here they are bringing in all
- 31:26of their money, which would have been in the form of coinage, and
- 31:30they're pouring it in to the treasury.
- 31:34And it would have made a long sound, this jingling and
- 31:38jangling into the treasury here. And it would have been a big
- 31:45show, just like their long flowing robes and their long
- 31:50pretense, pretensive prayers. This would have been a big show
- 31:56for them. And Jesus is watching them, and
- 32:01he's watching you today, friends. 42 And there came a
- 32:05certain poor widow, and sheep threw in two mites, which make a
- 32:09Farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and said unto
- 32:14them, Truly I say unto you, that this poor widow has cast more in
- 32:22than all they which have cast into the treasury will end on.
- 32:2644 For all they did cast in of their abundance, But she of her
- 32:32want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
- 32:38She trusted God with everything. She believed in God
- 32:44wholeheartedly. Nothing held back, nothing
- 32:47compartmentalized. This poor widow gave everything
- 32:51that she had to live on. And they were giving out of
- 32:54their abundance and they were making a big show out of it.
- 32:58And here she comes discreetly. And look who Jesus noticed and
- 33:05recognized and commended and loved on and taught well of.
- 33:10And it is such a word for you and for me to not trust in the
- 33:16ways of this world. Do not rely on your own senses,
- 33:20do not rely on your own understanding, but trust God in
- 33:24everything and believe that God can do anything.
- 33:28And God desires to take the little bit that you have and to
- 33:33use it for His Kingdom and to bless you.
- 33:36And we should not worry about tomorrow, but let today worry
- 33:39about itself. Friends, God, what takes care of
- 33:45the birds of the air? And they do not reap or sow He
- 33:48closed the lilies of the field, and they not toil or spin.
- 33:54And how much more important are you?
- 33:56How much more precious are you? Friends, He knows your needs
- 34:01before you even ask Him. Give it all to Him and watch how
- 34:07he multiplies it, and watch how there's no lack in your house
- 34:11and you keep pouring from the oil and the oil is full.
- 34:17No matter how much you pour, it's always full.
- 34:21There's no lack in God's house. He has the cattle on 1000 hills.
- 34:26He has all the gold and silver in the hills.
- 34:30He knows where the oars are. He has all abundance, there is
- 34:36no lack in His house, and He desires to pull things out of
- 34:41us, the materialism out of us, the worldly possessions out of
- 34:46us, where we rely on Him and Him and Him alone.
- 34:50Friends, turn it all over to God.
- 34:52We got to get off of this obsession with wealth, we got to
- 34:57get off the obsession with Mammon and we must give it all
- 35:01over to him and trust him that he is going to provide for us
- 35:05every single day. Do not compare your life with
- 35:08others. There are many who look the
- 35:10part, but they will not be there in the end.
- 35:14Friends, we cannot look at other people's blessings and wonder
- 35:20why there is seeming lack in our house in comparison to those who
- 35:25are walking with the Lord. They do not have the heart of
- 35:29God. They trust in their riches and
- 35:32they just tip their hat to God. They're much like these that are
- 35:36giving out of their abundance, and we've got to get to a place
- 35:39where we are giving all that we have to the Lord God Almighty.
- 35:47I hope you've been blessed by this chapter here.
- 35:49I know I sure have. I'm praying for every single one
- 35:53of you. I love you.
- 35:55We'll see you back here tomorrow.
- 35:57God bless you.
